Jennifer Understands the Assignment

I look at my wedding pictures every day. This is not an exaggeration. I find an excuse to show off my wedding pictures, sometimes with strangers lol, because they are just too good. My husband makes fun of me, “Are you looking at our wedding pictures again?” And, the answer is always, “yes,” lol of course I am. I‘m able to relive the joy, love, celebration and happiness of my wedding day each time I look at our wedding day pictures.

Jennifer and her team understood the assignment.

Jennifer and her team are the embodiment of when talent meets experience. Our pictures were artful, candid, bittersweet, vulnerable and simply beautiful.

So easy to be with! And gorgeous photos too!

Jennifer and her team were incredibly attentive throughout the whole process. The planning before the wedding went very smoothly and they made sure they knew every photo we wanted to get. During the day of, they were present everywhere but always unobtrusive. I never felt really like I was posing, Jennifer made it all so easy. Family photos were well organized, and efficient, and our couple shots felt more like time together than like a photo shoot. So far, we’ve only seen the sneak preview photos, but they are incredible. I cannot wait to see all of them!

Thanks Love Life Images!

We did our engagement and wedding photos with Elisha from Love Life Images, and have been so thrilled!
Neither my husband nor I are used to being photographed, but from the start of our engagement session Elisha made us feel very comfortable and worked with us on how to pose so we still felt natural. When our first choice of location didn’t work out, Elisha immediately pivoted and had an amazing back-up that turned out to be so beautiful!
In-between, the planning was very smooth; we worked out a schedule for day-of photos and Elisha worked well with our coordinators and venue to make any changes they asked for. Day-of, Elisha was a dream- she had perfect locations picked out for all of the first look and family photos, and we got all the groupings we wanted while still being ahead of schedule! During the reception she and her secondary photographer were super flexible- we were able to add in a bunch of group shots and get photos will all of our friends and family. We’ve gotten our preview photos back which I absolutely love, including one where Elisha spotted a rainbow outside and snagged us for a very quick but beautiful little moment! She also suggested a bubble exit which was so fun and also a perfect end of night photo op
I can't wait to see the rest of the photos, especially the dancing- I know Elisha was taking plenty of photos of the dance floor action, but it never once felt like she was in anyone’s face- so I’m sure we’ll have some awesome candids!

Gorgeous Wedding + Engagement Photos

We had an absolutely wonderful experience working with Jennifer for our engagement photo shoot and wedding photography! She made us feel so comfortable in front of the camera and we loved how she captured our emotion in every shot – which was exactly what we wanted. Even from the first time we met with Jennifer, she immediately understood our vision and was able to help us create the most beautiful fall engagement shoot (even helped us narrow down location options and advised us about outfit selections). For our summer wedding, she was already well acquainted with the venue (Kimpton Hotel Monaco), she knew exactly where to go to create stunning photos, and she was able to keep things moving quickly and efficiently with the more formal posed photos. Her confidence and sense of humor put us at ease on the big day. We were particularly impressed by Jennifer’s ability to put our young nieces at ease and get them to smile for the camera; one of them even ran up to Jennifer during the reception and gave her a big hug! Jennifer also brought a second photographer, Joe, and an assistant, Jillian, who were also a pleasure to work with on the day of the wedding. We just love all of our engagement photos and the wedding photos!

The most beautiful pictures to capture the feeling of our day

Jennifer is amazing. She’s an artist and makes you feel so comfortable while suggesting slight improvements to really make the final picture pop. Can’t recommend more. She did our wedding and then newborn and family pictures. We love her.

Bright, beautiful, natural photos

We had a fantastic experience with Elisha. Neither of us was particularly comfortable in front of the camera, but she made our engagement & wedding photos fun and relaxed. She was also really efficient with getting through group/family photos. You spend a lot of time with your wedding photographer, and she and her team were really easy and enjoyable to be around. We're thrilled with our photos - they're stunning and have a really intimate and natural feel. Highly recommend Elisha!

Fantastic photos and exceptional customer service

We hired Jennifer and team for our 2016 wedding at the Naval Academy and could not be happier. So much so that we've hired her repeatedly for the last 5 years, including during Covid (see below). The photos are breathtaking and she and her team were so professional and easy to work with. Our photos are a beautiful blend of graceful, sweeping images that capture the special venue while also having special intimate moments to remember the feeling of our day. We love her artistic eye and ability to catch a special family moment. My favorite part of working with Jennifer is how easy the process is. I didn't feel awkward or posed but she had small tips on how to turn a great shot into a magical shot. They adjusted to some last minute changes and had no problem dealing with sometimes challenging family member requests (which we warned about in advance.).

I can't recommend her more, other than to say we continued to hire her to take subsequent photos of our family and 2 children over the last 5 years. She dealt professionally and safely with the COVID19 pandemic and we asked her to do outside pictures while I was pregnant and she was very respectful taking photos when we had a newborn in Fall 2020.

Best option for the stiff bride and groom

We booked a package wedding that included services w/ Love Life Images and we were so so thrilled with the results. We added an extra hour to our package and package to Zoom our wedding to family and friends who couldn't attend, which were both very reasonably priced.

The planning process was very organized -- 1) questionnaire for the couple, 2) a call with the photographer to nail down the details and timeline, 3) event day!

When I first spoke with Jennifer I was sure to let her know that we were a bit camera shy and that we would need guidance. She was SO good with giving us tips on how to pose and what to do to feel natural in front of the camera. We ended up really enjoying the process and absolutely loved the results. Looking forward to booking another photoshoot with Love Life!

Love Life is the Dream Team You Need For Your Wedding

I have nothing but amazing things to say about my experience with Love Life. I followed over 20 photographers on Instagram and got multiple quotes and was not very impressed with any galleries I viewed. When I came across Love Life, I instantly loved how clear, crisp and creative the photos were. After my initial conversation with Jennifer, my search stopped and we booked them for our December 2019 wedding. In April, we met with Elisha and spent 2 hours with her on our Engagement photos at the Cherry Blossoms. If you have the opportunity to do this, it helped us to feel more comfortable with the camera on our wedding day. And the photos were stunning and used for our Save The Date! Elisha truly helped to make our day seamless and was so enjoyable to be around from the start to the end of our time with her. Jaimie helped keep us on track with logistics, payments and everything you need to do but don't realize how important is until your big day! Dag was our second shooter and was amazing at rounding up groups for group photos and did a great job at capturing the second half of the day. We received our wedding album a few weeks ago and relived every moment! Thank you again Love Life for making our day so spectacular.

Amazing Result

Love Life Images was amazing to work with. We had an off season wedding so there were discounts which we really appreciated. It was wonderful to work with someone who has so much experience. Jennifer helped build the perfect timeline so we could be sure to enjoy our cocktail hour. She was also fun to work with day of. Our pictures exceeded my expectations. We loved working with Love Life Images on both our engagement and wedding photography, and we loved the end results. We were attracted to Love Life's clean and modern style, but also how each of the weddings they photograph looks unique, and lets the personality and the feeling of that event shine through. We loved their documentary style —capturing not just the expected moments, but also the unplanned funny and touching moments. Jennifer and team are amazing!

I spoke with 4 photographers before signing with Jennifer and Love Life. People told me to choose a photographer whose work you like and who you feel you can be completely yourself in front of - and someone you will be ok with seeing you naked getting into your dress! Jennifer was that and more. She answered a million questions for me and went above and beyond planning options for our wedding day (our venue was in front of a massive festival and so crowded!) She made my fiancé and I feel calm and beautiful all day, despite literally thousands of people staring at us during photos outside. Mostly, I just trusted Jennifer implicitly and felt she had our best interests in mind all day. And we still use her cereal trick when we need to laugh in photos (hire her and you’ll know what I mean!)

Classic, traditional wedding photography with personal touch

We choose Love Life Images because of their classic portfolio--we did not want trendy, posed photos with filtered color that would look dated in a few years. Love Life is a small business that acts professionally; they are full-time photographers with a wonderful assistant who handles communications, Jamie. We worked with Jennifer for our engagement shoot and wedding photos. We had great chemistry from the start and really appreciated how relaxed and easy she was to work with. Love Life accommodated our small-wedding budget and we got the most of our hours with Jennifer. She excels at capturing authentic moments, and we are so grateful of all of the wonderful shots she took of our guests during our wedding ceremony (in addition to us, of course!).

Stress free experience

Working with love life images was such an easy process. My husband and I cared a lot about the photography for our wedding and spent a good deal of time trying to find the perfect vendor and we were so happy with our selection. The day of our wedding we worked with Dag and Ingrid who had a very go-with-the-flow attitude. I felt like their presence was calming which was wonderful to have the day of, and they were very flexible with our wishes. There were so many amazing pictures from our wedding day and they really do a great job of blending into the background and capturing everyone in such a natural way. I’ve had several friends and family members comment on how beautiful and timeless our photos looked. Leading up to the event the company was very organized when it came to payments, questionnaires, etc. I felt that they made it easy for us to articulate what we wanted through the detailed questionnaires that they provided, and we had several telephone calls with our photographer leading up to the event that were initiated by the company to ensure we were all on the same page. All around Excellent service.

We had Jennifer from the beginning and added Dag as a second photographer for our wedding day and I must say we couldn't be happier! Jennifer was absolutely awesome. Everyone at Love Life Images is just a delight. From the first inquiry to when we got our photo files, they provided excellent, timely and organized service which isn't always a given when planning a wedding. They also sent us thoughtful notes along the way which was just such a lovely touch!

We ended up working with Dag and could not have enjoyed him more. He's a cool guy and surprisingly easy to talk to with or without the camera in his hands! My husband and I aren't the most natural subjects but he made us feel comfortable and at ease in front of the camera. The photos from the whole day of the wedding are simply amazing and truly capture the feeling of the day. And best of all, they look like us.

Joe Wang at Love Life Images was absolutely incredible to work with. We were drawn to LLI for their photojournalistic style, and the fact that everyone in their pictures looked like they were having an absolute blast! Joe was so incredibly patient with us, as we do not exactly love staged photos and he gave us great guidance for the engagement shoot and the more formal pictures at the wedding. He was also awesome with our families at the wedding for group pictures and is an absolute perfectionist. We received the sneak peeks only 2 days after the wedding and I haven't been able to stop staring at them every since. I can't wait to see the rest!

Love Life Images was our favorite wedding vendor! From day one they were extremely responsive, professional and accommodating. Jamie, the Team Organizer, always responded to my emails and questions pleasantly, thoroughly and quickly throughout the entire planning process. We chose Joe as our photographer because he had previous experience in our venue (Clarendon Ballroom). He was fantastic! He was organized, professional and fun for both our engagement shoot and our wedding day. Drew worked as our second shooter on the wedding day, and he was super nice and got some great shots. We also lucked out and had Nick, the intern, assigned to us so we got some great pictures from him too! I really cannot state how friendly and professional everyone was throughout the entire process. And THE PICTURES! We love them! We got so many shots back and all of them bring back the emotions of the day. The wedding day can fly by, but my husband and I really feel like we relive it when we go through our photos. We are so happy we chose to go with a photojournalist-style photographer, and SO glad we chose Love Life. I highly recommend them!

There was one thing we knew we wanted above everything else when it came to our wedding: beautiful photographs that highlighted the genuine and unguarded moments of our day. That is exactly what we got with Dag from Love Life Images, and more. Each photo is stunning and, because Dag focused on capturing true emotions, we actually get to relive our day when looking at the photos. That's not to say that our bridal portraits or our portraits with our families aren't good - Dag did a great job of making those photos look organic and natural by making jokes and ensuring that everyone felt comfortable. Our one point of criticism would be that we did not get all of the portrait shots that we asked for (for example, we did not receive a photo of my now-husband with myself and my immediate family, even though we asked for one in our questionnaire), but we received a dozen close ups of the various desserts we had at our wedding (which were considerably less important than the shots we don't have). However, other than that, we really loved our experience with Dag and of Love Life Images. Everyone was incredibly responsive, particularly in the days leading up to our wedding, and we even got all of our photos less than a month after our wedding. While we were fairly indifferent to the Snapshot Studio prior to the wedding, we are so happy now that it was included in our package because those photos are hilarious and show what a great time our guests had.

Looking back on our big day this time last year, I felt the need to give a special shout-out to some of our most cherished vendors. Love Life Images made our wedding day even more magical by capturing moments both big and small that we'll treasure forever, such as spontaneous laughter between long-time friends, our sunset ceremony on the beach, the sweet sentiments of toasts, and the silliness of cake-cutting.

Joe was wonderful to work with leading up to the big day with a few emails and calls to discuss specific "must-have" shots, and I'll never forget him laying in the street during our engagement photo shoot to catch the perfect angle riding bikes through our vibrant Adams Morgan neighborhood. He is simply the best! Dag supported him on our wedding day and I really like the fact that LLI offers two photographers the day of so that one can capture "the main event" while the other is focusing on precious moments among guests.

We absolutely love our photos and are in the process of compiling our professional album. Very thankful we went with Love Life - I recommend them wholeheartedly!

My husband and I actually found Elisha and Love Life Images by googling Jewish weddings at our venue location (Chesapeake Bay Beach Club). My husband saw Elisha's image come up and we fell in love with her style! Elisha was amazing to work with from the start at our initial meeting, engagement session, detailed planning call the week before the wedding and of course the day of! We also had Ingrid as our second shooter and I would 100% recommend her and having a second shooter. Elisha and Ingrid were so amazing to work with and having Ingrid meant so many different shots and angles. My husband even saw Ingrid on the rooftop deck overlooking our ceremony site taking pictures of the ceremony from above. It stormed during our cocktail hour and we were still able to get outside later in the day for beautiful sunset pictures on the water (we were lucky enough to have the best sunset and rainbow show up during those pictures). We cannot wait to see all the gorgeous pictures Elisha and Ingrid were able to capture from our big day! I would 100% recommend Elisha, Ingrid and Love Life Images!

It was great having Jennifer and Ingrid as our photographers - I would definitely recommend having two photographers if you can, as they could capture the same scene but at vastly different angles. One of my favorite photos, for example, was from Ingrid shooting way afar from our outdoor ceremony site, so you could see the rolling vineyards in the background. Gorgeous photos. They are also super hard-working and not afraid to "get dirty." Jennifer was literally laying on the grass to get the shot she wanted! I would highly recommend Love Life Images.

Love Life Images has been wonderful to work with since minute one. They have a great group of photographers, but from the moment we met Elisha we knew she was the wedding photographer we wanted.

They offered an engagement photo session as part of their package. I’m so glad we got a chance to do this, because my wife and I were a bit nervous. We’re both a little self conscious about how we look in pictures and neither of us had experience being photographed professionally. I contacted Elisha to see if she could help me put my wife (and myself) at ease, and she gave me plenty of tips and pointers. The day of the shoot, Elisha kept us relaxed and we had a blast doing the shoot. The results spoke for themselves!

The wedding pictures were no different. On the day of, Elisha and her assistant, Dag, captured everything so beautifully. We got all the great group shots we asked for, but their real strength were all the candid shots. They were simply stunning. They captured every moment of the day, big or small. My wife can hardly look at pictures of her and her father without crying. Looking back, I can barely remember Elisha and Dag being around, but the shots they took were so up close and personal I don’t know how I forgot.

Looking back, our wedding went off perfectly and everything was just the way we wanted it. Thankfully we had such amazing photographers there to capture all the emotions so perfectly. We are currently looking back at our photos and reminiscing almost daily, and we can’t wait to work with Elisha and the Love Life team soon!

We cannot say enough good things about Matthew D’Agonstino and Love Life Images. We did not have a huge budget for our wedding, but wanted to have beautiful photos. As a former photojournalist, Dag gave us beautiful photos that not only captured the people and décor, but the interaction and feeling of the wedding, too. It was clear that he understood our vision and personalities, and incorporated that into his work. Dag showed up at the venue early to scout out options for our first look and portraits, and captured our “getting ready” moments without being invasive. He was even willing to jump in a car after the ceremony to snap some shots at Great Falls. Leading up to the wedding the communication with Love Life was great, including offers to check-in about what we wanted, and a detailed questionnaire.

Our package included the snapshot studio, which produced some of our favorite images. It was a great way to capture all of our guests, and even forged some new friendships between guests who met that night! All of our guests were impressed with the photos. In fact, our only problem is deciding which ones to print, because we love almost every one. We will definitely use Dag and Love Life in the future!

We worked with Elisha and couldn't be more happy with our pictures. She caught all the special moments and details I wanted and captured the modern feel I worked hard to create. For my husband, she snapped pictures that looked like they could be on the cover of Vogue, just like he wanted. We had so much fun with her and her staff. We loved Love Life's photojournalism style and knew that was what we wanted for our wedding. We ended up working with Joe and got a second photographer who ended up being Jennifer. If you're considering a second photographer, I recommend it. We have so many pictures and moments caught from different angles and nothing was missed because we had two people to be everywhere. Joe was wonderful to work with - I'd actually not met him before the wedding day but was instantly comfortable with him. He never felt obtrusive and I didn't even notice him during the ceremony, but we have all these wonderful photos from throughout the ceremony. We have gorgeous photos from both Joe and Jennifer that are full of joy and love. They both caught things we didn't even know were happening. When you book with Love Life you also get the snapshot studio which I wasn't sure about, but in the end we have some of the funniest pictures from it, so I'm glad we had it. Their online set up makes it really easy to send information to them and to make payments. It was fun that they sent us a sneak peek and they processed our photos pretty fast. Looking through them is like reliving every moment of the day. We just love them and as the years go by, we will treasure the beautiful pictures that Joe and Jennifer took for us.

Joe Wang from Love Life Images was our photographer for our October wedding. From the minute we met with Joe, we knew we were in good hands. I'll start with the results.... our wedding pictures are AMAZING. Seriously, THE BEST action shots I have ever seen from a wedding. You can literally feel the energy from the pictures! We worked with Elisha at Love Life Images. Elisha was a pleasure to work with and is really talented. Our picutes turned out great! Finding the right photographer was really important to us and we took a lot of time to research photographers in the area and met with a few different ones to get pricing etc. After meeting with all of them- Elisha was the obvious choice. She is really talented and her prices are really fair and reasonable compared to other photographers. If you use Love Life- make sure to get the Snap Shot Studio (a kind of photobooth/portait station). Our guests loved it and the pictures from that turned out great!

Jennifer is the best. When my photo booth people did not show up to my wedding Jennifer happen to be at our hotel for a bridal expo and allowed us to use her equipment, she set up a make shift photo booth and saved the day. We hired Joe Wang plus a second photographer for our wedding about a year in advance. As it got closer to our big day we had a bunch of questions and they were super responsive and helpful. I also learned that my second photographer was Jennifer Domenick and we were also going to have another photographer as well. So we ended up with three photographers! Jennifer's photographs are works of art, pure and simple. She was able to capture such sweet moments from our special day, and the portrait shots are so natural. We love everything about Love Life and Joe Wang. Our engagement photos were amazing, and our wedding photos were just as beautiful. Joe was a wonderful presence on our wedding day, and our pictures were ready about a week before the estimated 4-6 weeks for delivery. Ann and Elisha, the staff we worked with prior to and after the wedding, were also wonderful. The photography was our highest priority, and we definitely feel like we got more than we paid for.

Jennifer Domenick and the Love Life Images team are AMAZING. There just aren't words to explain how much we loved working with Jenn. She is not only amazing talented, she is super fun and a great person to be around. My husband and I met as broadcast journalists and knew we wanted a photog who shared our artist eye. We wanted someone who captured moments, not posed, group shots. Jennifer and her assistant Alicia did just that. And the second, we found out Jenn also also a photojournalist in her past life, we were sold.

Jennifer was easy to shoot with, making us feel comfortable and adding special artist touches that made the photos stunning. Many times through the night I was looking around for her to say hi and make sure they both ate because they are the type of photogs who work so you don't know they are there.

The only area of improvement I would say is the company is a little sticky about when they release the photos (6 months after the wedding-2 months if you order an album), which made it a little difficult to get and use our engagement and wedding shots throughout the process. However, since our main concern was finding the photog that best fit our vision, this didn't bother us as much.

Love love love! One of the most important parts of a wedding are the pictures that are there to remind you of it for years... not to mention to show off to all the little ones some day! We spent MONTHS looking for a photographer that we liked and when we came across Mary, it took us about 2 minutes to decide that she was the one!
Her style of pictures are exactly what I was looking for. Aside from the obligatory family shots, I really don't like the posed shots (I usually look like a doofus or totally fake in them, everytime, without fail), so her photojournalist approach was perfect. People still rave about our pictures to this day. I work for a hotel selling weddings, and if a bride ever asks my personal opinion on a photog referral, I will send them the info for Love Life every time!
For a brief moment I was going to give a 4.5/5 for value because it was a bit pricier than others that we spoke to, but I couldn't bring myself to do it. Although it was more money it was TOTALLY worth it... value for the money was spot on!

Love Life Images was excellent in every aspect of the word. They were very professional and responsive to the vision for our wedding. Our primary photographer was Joe Wang. Joe worked with us for both the engagement photo shoot and the wedding. The assistant for the wedding was Ann Razonski. Their creative eyes for the lens is far and beyond the competition. Their photo style is journalistic with documentary elements included uniquely telling the story of the couple and their special day. We provided our photographers with a timeline and checklist of the wedding details that we wanted captured. They followed the timeline and checklist precisely and provided creativity in every aspect. With your head in the clouds and so much activity going on around you, it's so important to have photographer who you can just trust to capture every beautiful moment from your wedding. Stephen and his assistant Anne did a fantastic job of being every where the action was happening (you can see them in the background of the random pics our guests took with their personal cameras) but were completely discrete and unassuming and absolutely lovely to work with.

We have been fans of Stephen's work every since we stumbled on the Love Life Web site. The few photos he showed us just on the screen of his camera were amazing and we were on pins and needs waiting for the final products! They were PERFECT.

We were referred to Love Life Images by a friend who had hired Stephen Bobb as her wedding photographer. Having a photographer who specialized in the photojournalistic style was important to me and my husband. One of the things that impressed us most when comparing pictures on Stephen’s blog with the blogs of photographers at other companies was his use of light and contrast. We decided to do an engagement shoot with Stephen to make sure that we felt comfortable with his style. We were so happy with the results and couldn’t wait for him to shoot our wedding and reception.

On the day of the wedding, Stephen and his assistant were professional, on time, patient, and unobtrusive. They took so many amazing pictures of all the different aspects of the day and made sure that none of the special people or details of our day were overlooked. Working with Mary was great!!! Between choosing a Venue, the next major decision for me was who our Photographer would be. We sat with about 5 different photographers and couldn't be happier with Mary and Love Life Images. We had Elisha as our second photographer and she was great also!!!

They were so easy to work with and so professional. It was a blast!!! They came on time and were ready to work. Very friendly and got along great with my family and friends! It's amazing too cause during the day I didn't even see them, yet they captured the moments!

We also chose to do a "Day after Session" instead of an "Engagement Session" and it was great! Mary picked the location and it was beautiful.

As a graphic designer, photographs were the most important thing for me. I wanted pictures that we could hang in our home for years to come and people would be able to see how special our wedding was. I searched high and low and all ends of the internet for the perfect photographer. I met Mary Gardella of Love Life and when my mom and I left the studio we KNEW we had a gem. Mary did an engagement session just outside the Love Life Studio in Savage, MD. I was leery of having to drag my fiance out to have a photo shoot - he is a not one to usually sign up for things like that. She quickly put us both to ease and caught amazing photos. Pictures that are absolutely stunning. I was so excited to see what she would do for the wedding. Our big day was filled with love, tears, laughs and incredible party - Mary caught it all. The best part was that we never felt as though we had paparazzi around (to be honest I forgot she was there). Her pictures have so much depth to them and they are incredibly beautiful. She definitely will be our photographer for life.

We couldn't be more thrilled with Jennifer Domenick and Love Life Images. She is truly gifted and has an incredible eye, which results in photos that are extraordinary. We purchased the excuisite wedding package which included an engagment session, 9 hours of time with Jennifer and a second shooter on the day of, as well as the snapshot studio (a white screen and mounted camera). While the package isn't inexpensive, I believe you get what you pay for and our images were worth every penny. I was initially a little reluctant to have the snapshot studio, but in the end, I am so glad we did. It's way more fun than the traditional and boring table shots.

Jennifer and Joe, our photographers, were wonderful to work with. They were fun, flexible, creative and easily managed organizing photos with our families and bridal party prior to the ceremony. My husband and I wanted a photojournalistic style rather than just the more traditional posed photos. Jennifer and Joe were able to fully capture the emotions of our day, yet were totally unobtrusive. They are just such pros. We received a link to our digital images on Pictage about two weeks after our wedding and are really enjoying sharing them with family and friends. We can't wait to see our album. If photography is one of your most important wedding investments, you can't go wrong with Love Life Images.

After interviewing (at least) four different photographers, we selected Love Life Images. We were impressed initially by the quality of the samples of their work. Side by side with other professionals' work, their pictures were exceptional. We had Mary and an assistant as our team for the day. Mary went with the bridal party and the other with the groomsmen. They both proved to be extremely flexible and very creative; they had to be as we were dealing with a rainy day and people all over the place. The last thing we wanted were stodgy, generic pictures. We could not have been happier with the final product, and have heard nothing but raves from our family & friends who have seen the pictures as well. We have friends that got engaged shortly after our wedding who told us they are not even going to shop it, they are just going to hire Love Life. One word of advice: do not skimp on the photographer, you will regret it.

We were so lucky to find Mary!
I came across another photographer through the local Knot Magazine and they were unavailable and referred us to love life images.
We gave Love Life a call and Jackie scheduled us with Mary. We went out for our consultation and met with Mary at her studio in MD and fell in love right away. We then did a family mini session in exchange for our engagement session since we had been engaged for a few years.
For our wedding she and her associate photographer, Wendy, arrived on time and did such a beautiful job with everyone and everything.
We will be using Love Life for all of our photo sessions in the future and feel blessed to have had them as a part of our wedding and family experience!

We think our photographer pick was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. Our guests have been raving about the quality of our photos, saying they are the most amazing they have seen. The people at Love Life were great to work with and we hope to go back to them with future memories we'd like photographed.

We can’t recommend Joe Wang and Love Life enough. Joe did an incredible job communicating with us throughout the process. At our engagement shoot, he gave us more time than the allotted time even though it was very hot outside. The photos he took for the engagement shoot were incredible. Before the wedding itself, Joe took the time to communicate with us to make sure he understood all of our preferences. During the wedding, Joe helped to keep us on schedule as well as to make sure that we got all of the shots we wanted. He did an excellent job of capturing the wedding without being obtrusive. He even stayed well past his allotted time to get an incredible photo of us at the Chinatown arch. We were extremely pleased with the actual photos, and they were very prompt in getting them to us.
If we had to nitpick one thing, it would be something Love Life (it had nothing to do with Joe at all) did with respect to our engagement shoot. We had been very open with Love Life about how we wanted access to all of the high-resolution images; that was of paramount importance to us. Before our engagement shoot took place (but after we had paid for it), we were told we could have one of the images for free and would have to wait until after the wedding to get the others unless we paid a fee of $25 per photo. It’s possible that this was in the contract, but we read the contract carefully and didn’t see this provision. We were upset because we wanted to use the images for our save the dates, and we had been very clear that access to the images was really important to us. To Love Life’s credit, they remedied the problem, but if they continue this practice, they need to more clearly disclose upfront (when one purchases the engagement shoot) that you won’t get the high-res images until the wedding. That’s our only complaint. Overall, Love Life was wonderful and Joe was absolutely perfect. We would recommend him without hesitation. Thank you Joe and Love Life!

Love Life Images was wonderful to work with. Joe was our main photographer and Dag accompanied him through the day. Before the wedding, Joe was incredibly responsive and worked with us to get an understanding of the types of photos and locations we wanted and then made expert recommendations on where we should go. Joe was well acquainted with our venue (Hotel Monaco) and knew all the right places in the hotel to get the perfect shot. We also ventured out to get photos in the Portrait Gallery and near the Capitol as well and Joe kept us on time, while still managing to get all the shots we wanted.

Joe and Dag were both right on time for the day of - Joe spent his morning with the bride and bridesmaids and Dag spent his time with me and my groomsmen. During the wedding, Joe and Dag did a great job of managing to still get the shots while staying off to the side. At the reception, Joe and Dag were everywhere and all of our guests commented how great the photographers were at capturing the room. We could not have been happier with Joe, Dag, and the rest of the Love Life Images team and would highly recommend them. Thanks!

We had Joe Wang as our photographer from Love Life for our Hotel Monaco DC wedding. He and his assistant Ingrid did an excellent job capturing fun, happy moments from our wedding! I've received comments from several of my guests that these are the best wedding photographs they've ever seen. Every time I look back through the photos I am more appreciative of the attention to detail and commitment to the shot that Joe and Ingrid had. Also, the snap shot studio is.the.best. The most stunning photos!

Elisha and the entire Love Life team were amazing and we wholeheartedly recommend them. Our photos are STUNNING — most importantly of us as the couple but also of all our family and friends. It was hard to select favorites because we love them all so much. Our loved ones also love the photos and have raved about them. Elisha is a pro and made us feel comfortable during the engagement photo shoot so that on our wedding day, we knew how the photo shoot would feel. Her team was kind but firm with our large wedding party and families, and they managed to get all the group shots we wanted both before and after the ceremony. Elisha was communicative before our engagement shoot and the wedding to make sure we had agreement on where we’d be shooting and that we felt informed and comfortable. We treasure our photos from Love Life and are so happy we hired them!

Stunning memories

We are so happy with the way our photos came out! We originally booked with Dag, who did our engagement shoot, but a few months before our wedding, he was unable to attend. At first it was a bit of a panic but in the end we were then booked with Elisha and she was SUCH a gem. She set our minds at ease and helped us come up with a plan for the day. Our photos came out gorgeous so we're so so happy!

The lead and assistant photographers who covered our wedding took stunning pictures. They caught all of the details in the Hindu and Christian ceremonies that were important to our families. And given the logistics of the set-change in between the two ceremonies, they had to work incredibly fast. Despite the need for speed, they captured all the things that made our ceremonies unique.

Both photographers were a pleasure to work with, as was the company itself. All of the business aspects of our interaction with Love Life were very easy as well. We recommend them to anyone looking for artistic photos.

We worked with Stephen Bobb from Love Life Images for both our engagement photos and our wedding photos. Stephen's pictures for both events turned out extremely well. He is a complete professional. His style is more organic, he doesn't really force the typical group shots. He's also a very calm presence on the actual wedding day. While some photographers might make you feel more stressed running around, Stephen is very mellow yet still managing the photos. I would recommend that you have a clear plan with him where you definitely want pictures so he can best manage your time on the day. That was something I didn't think through as clearly and in retrospect, it probably would have been helpful for Stephen to tell him where around our venue we wanted to do pictures to maximize our time. I also HIGHLY recommend the photo booth, it's always a hit. And also, definitely go for the assistant photographer, I don't know how we would have managed without an assistant.

We booked Stephen from Love Life Images at the recommendation of Holland Photo Arts, which were booked and recommended Love Life as an alternative with a similar style. Stephen is an associate with Love Life and has packages priced at as little as $3,000 (which we went with). Based on our research, this is extremely competitive. We encountered several local photographers with similar prices but clearly less skill. Stephen and his assistant, Ingrid, took beautiful photographs of our wedding, artistic but not overly so. We have only seen the online proofs so far but they look beautiful. Our only complaint, if you can call it that, is that Stephen is very mellow, almost to the point of being somewhat awkward to work with. He was very quiet during our conversations leading up to the wedding, letting us do most of the talking when we wanted a little more guidance from him. We don't want to criticize his personality--we booked him, after all, and are happy with the images--but we just wished he'd been a little more energetic before and during the wedding, to contribute to a joyful mood. He was very respectful and professional, though, and the photos are great, which is what really counts.

Stephen was our photographer and I just cannot say enough good things about him. The photographs are stunning and his professionalism can't be beat. He managed to capture some the most poignant moments without ever letting us know he was there. His calm nature is also lovely to be around on such an emotionally charged day. Stephen is the best in the area and I'm honored we got to work with him on such a special day!

I had the pleasure of meeting Mary when we were shopping around to find a photographer to capture us for our first Christmas cards in 2004. From the moment I saw her we clicked! She is incredibly gifted and down to earth. She does not try to pose you, she lets you do your own thing and captures beautiful poses.

Mary brings a lot of energy to her sessions. You can not help but to feel lifted and excited. I felt she was worth the money, I know others couples that have spent more and others who have spent less and their photos were not the same quality OR had the same attention to detail. Felt very sorry for them because at the end of the day all you have are those wonderful photographic memories.

It was a no brainer to chose her to capture our wedding ( I didnt even shop around), she has gone on to capture our pregnancy and Liam growing up. Take a moment to meet with her and her colleagues her work speaks for itself! You will not be sorry!

Beautiful Photos, Highly Communicative

We had a great experience with Love Life Images for our rehearsal dinner and wedding. The photos really capture the energy and emotion of the various events and we received them even sooner than expected after the wedding. Jennifer and team made us feel comfortable on our wedding day and were very responsive to our various requests and questions. Jennifer was also great with communication leading up to the day and helped guide us through what to expect while providing helpful advice.

We loved the photos. Stephen Bobb has a photo-journalist style so he's able to capture some amazing candid moments. When you flip through the photos, you can really see everybody having a great time. His greatest strength is also his greatest weakness. While Stephen was amazing at capturing candid moments, we were definitely lacking in the amount of staged group shots. Some of that had to do with the party being late but there wasn't enough assertiveness or direction with the group shots. Otherwise we thought Stephen and Love Life were great. Oh I do have one complaint. They mention in the contract that the digital photos will be provided within 6 months from the wedding and they really do take the entire 6 months. We had to email them to remind them that 6 months were up, almost like they were holding them for no other reason.

Mary Gardella and Love Life Images was our favorite vendor to work with. Mary's creativity and professionalism was second to none. As soon as we met her, we knew she was the perfect fit for our wedding. Her enthusiasm rivaled other photographers we had met with. We were extremely pleased with Love Life Images. Jennifer Dominick was our photographer and her photos were beautiful. She came up to NYC to shoot our engagement photos -- which was really fun since that's where we live. She is so artist and has an incredible eye. She also puts the Bride/Groom at ease with her easy going and down to earth personality. She shoot our wedding at the St. Regis in DC and we are very happy with everything she produced. Overall very nice and professional individuals with whom to work. My husband would describe our pictures as uneven-some were great while others were just poor (glaring background lights, photos from a distance, grainy photos). I think when you're spending this much money on photographs, you expect consistent high quality. Another disappointing part was the multiple staff seeming half-hearted to put int extra work to fix them. We are re very unlikely to go with them again.
