Alex is incredible!!! He was so amazing, from the conversations we had pre-wedding while determining our timeline, to capturing our magical day, and to the product we received that allows us to now re-live our special moments. Alex is so easy to work with, and has been from the start. My husband and I were talking after the wedding and saying how we barely even noticed him there throughout the night; with that, we were so amazed with all that he was able to capture and with the videos he was able to create for us!! He was able to capture our ceremony and personalized vows, pictures/videos of us during our sunset photo-op, all of the toasts, our cake cutting experience, all of our special dances, and even some of our friends busting some moves on the dance floor. We are incredibly happy with the results and would absolute recommend Alex to anyone looking for a videographer for their special day. We cannot thank him (and recommend him) enough for all that he did! -

What an exciting experience - My husband and I had the pleasure of working with Alex to capture a video of our wedding day. We came across another project he had done for an old friend on Instagram and we immediately knew he was a candidate for the job. Alex initially stood out to us (and ultimately led to our decision to go with him) because of his quality/style of work, packages and pricing. I was extremely picky through the process of vetting out our vendors, and I am so happy we chose Alex to be our videographer. He did exceptional work capturing all the emotion and special moments through the day and exceeded all our expectations - we love his style of editing and everything he includes in his competitive pricing (specifically, the drone and raw footage stood out to us!). Alex has a true talent and eye for what he does which we could see from the jump - but what we didn’t know and learned in the process of working with him is how kind, communicative/responsive, and easy to work with he is - from our first interaction to the final product, Alex was so pleasant and professional. He managed his time well, always reminded me to smile (which I needed while under all the wedding day stresses!), and he understood the assignment! He never missed an opportunity to capture a moment, big or small. He and his second shooter were also faced with working around/with our two other hired photographers and a content creator, and he did it so well and smooth! We would choose Alex and Love Genre Films over again if given the opportunity. We highly recommend him! -

I’m so thankful I stumbled across Love Genre Films’ portfolio. Alex’s work speaks for itself. QUALITY work with reasonable priced packages, he’s very generous with what he provides. We knew the video was going to turn out great, but the end product exceeded our expectations. I’d also like to note I’m such a type A personality and VERY picky. The wedding day was beautifully captured, I was bawling my eyes out re-watching it back. The fact that we can go back to this day and re-live these memories, truly means so much to us. We can’t recommend Alex enough. He’s personable, genuine and a true artist at what he does. -

Alex is an absolute gem to work with. His videography packages are the most comprehensive I could find in the area, and I was so happy to be able to get full coverage of the entire ceremony, reception, and toasts in addition to STUNNING edited highlight videos (incuding drone footage!) that was affordable. As you can see from his online portfolio, his artistry is apparent and consistent with all of his clients: you will end up with a cinematic masterpiece if you hire Love Genre Films. He manages to capture the magic, intimacy, and emotions of your special day as though you were reliving the moment every time you watch his videos, which is not an easy feat to replicate. He is very experienced and made the actual wedding day so seamless. I didn't need to stress about coordinating everything -- he did it all, no questions asked. He knew just where to go, who to reach out to, what shots would work best for the film, etc. In the contract, he also states the predicted timeline of when your edited videos will be ready, and just as stated in the contract, he was punctual with his services. Alex is a seasoned veteran to weddings, for sure. I would hire him again if we did a vow renewal in the future, and have been nonstop suggesting his services to all of my couple friends. 1000% recommend! -

I highly recommend booking Alex for your special day! The booking process was very easy and he was so great to work with on the wedding day. After seeing his work on Instagram and YouTube I knew we had to book him ASAP. He was one of the first vendors we booked. Our package included a full ceremony edit, a reception edit, 1 minute social media teaser, and 5-7 minute montage plus drone footage. I feel like we got so much for a such great value! My husband and I absolutely loved his work! We were amazed by the final product and are so happy we now have these videos to look back on. He magically captured our big day and gave us the FEELS. A videographer is definitely a must have for your wedding and you can't go wrong with Alex! -

I, like many others, was on the fence about hiring a videographer for my wedding - but I am SO HAPPY we ended up working with Alex. He has been incredibly professional and kind since the day we started chatting about his packages.
On the day of our wedding, we worked with Alex and Yuri, both of whom arrived early and were professional, funny and sincere all day. They captured heartfelt moments along with some hilarious moments we will cherish forever, and we were so impressed with how many camera angles they captured during our ceremony. There were some hiccups with another vendor, and Alex and Yuri remained completely professional the entire time and I think it's a true testament of their professionalism and attentiveness to the bride and groom.
We loved seeing all the drone footage they captured, and loved the full wedding video and teaser videos that Alex put together with music - we left all the creative aspects up to him and he more than delivered with sweet and special moments. I even asked him to include some extra footage of certain people in our videos and his turnaround time was SO fast. I couldn't have asked for a better videographer to work with who is also great at communication.
I would 100% work with Alex again, and even our guests loved speaking with him and can't stop talking about his top of the line gear! -

Amazing work!
I could not recommend Alex more! I went back and forth with the idea of hiring a videographer for a long time and finally decided to just do it and when I got our video after our wedding I can not explain how happy I am that I did!! Our wedding video is so special and just hits different than our photos. Alex was so helpful and easy to work with the day of and the special moments he captured are so magical!! I cannot begin to explain how thankful we are that we found Alex to be our videographer. He went above and beyond in every aspect. We had a very intimate wedding with family and close friends, and having Alex there felt like having another one of our close friends with us, which made the day so much more special. He was incredibly responsive and from the first phone call we had, I knew that I could trust him to do an incredible job. As soon as he showed up, it was clear that he was an expert and had the perfect vision in mind. Then, the video montage absolutely exceeded our expectations, and I am so thankful to have the most beautiful display of how wonderful the day was! I would recommend Love Genre to anyone looking for a videographer because I don't believe that there is anyone better :) -

I was on the fence about getting a videographer until my cousin told me the video and photos are the only thing you can take with you from the day. The entire day was a bit of a blur and my pictures are great but the videos really just captured so much of what I missed or forgot. I am so grateful I hired Alex and couldn’t be happier with the videos he put together for us. If I can give a bride one piece of advice, it’s get the video! Hire Love Genre films, you absolutely won’t regret it. -

I went back and forth on whether or not to have a videographer and WOW am I glad we decided to do it! Alex and Joan were on time, professional and had such positive energy! They captured so many moments we didn’t even know had happened until we saw them on the videos. We’ll get to relive our day over and over and that is such a gift! It was an added bonus that they work regularly with our photographer so their seamless professional flow really shined! From the time we booked to months after the wedding, communication was very timely. Seriously could not have asked for anything more and would make this decision over and over again! -

So if could give Alex 10 stars, I truly would. I can’t believe we were so fortunate that Alex was available for our new wedding date this past July 2021, which was rescheduled from summer 2020 due to COVID. We already booked and partially paid a videographer in January 2020, who all of a sudden stopped being responsive around 2 months before our wedding month. We already had so many additional obstacles and stressors due to venue regulations and guest count, etc, so an unresponsive videographer so close to the wedding rose our stress levels even more. Being so close to the wedding date, I was hopeful we would find a great videographer, but also tried to come to terms that I might have to settle, since all the good videographers were probably fully booked. As soon as I read the reviews as well as saw examples of Alex’s work, I was instantly impressed by him. I loved his editing and the style of his videography. It was also very assuring to know that Alex has so many years of experience under his belt. It was exactly what my husband and I were looking for. I reached out to get a quote and by a miracle Alex was available on our wedding date! From the initial correspondence with Alex, I knew right away that he is professional, personable, and that he is a genuine person who really cares about his clients. He was extremely responsive and accommodating to our requests and offered to put together the same package our previously hired vendor agreed to do. During our wedding day, he really made us feel confident that he was capturing every special moment. When we received the short teaser and highlight film, we were blown away and loved how they turned out. Alex is beyond talented, professional, accommodating, and genuine. If you get the chance to book Alex for your big day or any special occasion, do not hesitate. We are so grateful for him and all of his hard work, as we now have these films we will be able to look back on and remember our big day forever :) -

I could not recommend Love Genre Films more!! I was so set in having a wedding video but was sure how to make it work. Alex worked with our budget and figured out how to capture the most important moments. I cried the first time I watched that video. I can not say enough good things about Alex and Love Genre Films. My now husband is very standoffish when it comes to being recorded and fought me the entire time about getting a videographer. We finally had settled on someone but COVID made them close shop with 3 months to our date. So I panicked and started the search all over and found Love Genre Films. My husband liked his style and the use of drones to capture footage of the site. After having a phone call meeting with Alex we decided to jump in and have him capture our micro-wedding that would take place outdoors and then move indoors for the reception. Well with our luck it rained the entire day before and the ceremony site was a muddy mess. We had to move everything indoors the night before. I had sent Alex a message letting him know the change of plans and he was calm and was ok with thew working with the changes. He showed up on the wedding day ready to make the best out of a COVID wedding and even respected my husband’s wishes of not having him in the room while I got into the dress (he willing stepped out of the room for that part). As the day went on even though there were things we wanted to capture (sunset shots, etc.) Alex could tell that we were just done and did not push the subject of trying to get more footage which went over so well with my husband. When we got the link for the social media video I was nervous about how it was going to turn out- well I was crying by the end of the video due to it could not have been more perfect. Not only did Alex capture the day but he stayed to capture our venue at sunset and lit up at night without us even knowing. He had gone beyond what we expected and I couldn’t be happier. I got messages from family that even they cried watching the video and they were not even there for the day. If you have any doubts just view his work- that only speaks volumes but then talk to him. He will put your doubts at ease! Alex- Thank you again for everything! -

We found out about Alex from seeing his beautiful work on a friend's wedding. I thought it would be good, but didn't have a lot of expectations...it was AMAZING. I think my favorite part is that not only did he make a movie of the best quality I could have imagined, he edited it in a way that captured the entire energy and essence of our wedding. Watching the montage is like stepping back into the day. I'd say not only is a great wedding videographer, he is an INCREDIBLY talented video producer. It was honestly the best money we could have spent and we are so grateful he was there. I should also mention how easy to work with, pleasant, and fairly priced he is. I'd hire him again in a heart beat. -

My husband and I were debating on having videography for our wedding for some time because of the cost, but it was our dream to be able to have it. About a couple months before our wedding my friend recommended Alex who had filmed her wedding, and she loved working with him. I'm SO glad we decided to work with Alex and highly recommend him! He was so accommodating with our budget and vision. We met in-person and talked about our agenda for the wedding and which parts he would focus filming. He worked really well with our photographers as well which was really nice.
My husband and I are so happy with the feature film, ceremony, and reception footage that was captured. We got to choose the song that was in the feature film, and Alex managed to capture some amazing footage with his drone as well. Everything looks so professional and he did it all by himself! It's something were so excited to share with our friends and family, and have as a keepsake. Thank you so much Alex!! -

Alex did an incredible job! I am so thankful that we ended up with him as our videographer! We had booked another company and they ended up stealing our money with no intention of showing up... I contacted Alex and explained what happened and he was more than willing to work with us, even with short notice and then he even waived the travel fee to help us recoup from the other videographer. He had incredible communication prior to the wedding day, I never felt in the dark or confused about anything. The day of the wedding he showed up and he was very professional but also very nice. He worked seamlessly with our photographer even though they had never met. Half of the time I didn’t even notice he was there - he just captured the perfect shots and spoke up when he needed to get something else…he is a man who knows how to do his job and he sets off and does it well. He made me completely worry free on my wedding day and that alone makes me so thankful! The editing of the video is exactly what I pictured when I decided I wanted to have a videographer…it is cinematic and beautiful and it really tells the story of the day and brings back all of the feelings and emotions…its our memory set on fire. He did an incredible job and was very timely with delivery! If you are on the fence about having a videographer or don’t know who to hire - look no further! Love Genre Films is without a doubt who you should go with. I would hire them a thousand times over. Thank you Alex for everything, we have a tangible way to cherish our big day for the rest of our lives and we could not be happier!
