If you're looking for a true partner in the planning process, book this team! You won't regret it
I first reached out to Love for Details in the summer of 2019. My wedding was originally scheduled for July of 2020, then the pandemic happened and we've had to postpone not once but twice.
Living in NYC at the time, I was worried I wouldn't be able to manage. Elsie was right there alongside me helping navigate this difficult time. She was always reachable. She kept me informed about latest regulations in place in Puerto Rico which helped a lot during the planning process.
When our original venue unfortunately double booked us, Elsie was able to find a new venue for us the next day and get everything sorted out with our vendors.
On the day of the wedding I was able to truly be present enjoy every part of my wedding day because I felt confident that I was in good hands.
I couldn't have picked a better planner and partner for this important time in our life. Truly thankful to Elsie and her wonderful team for going above and beyond 🤎Love for Details's reply:

Elsie is the best wedding planner we could've hoped for! Our wedding was supposed to have happened before Covid, but due to the unforeseen circumstances, we had to postpone our wedding and move everything a year out. She helped us rebook all of our vendors and even found us new vendors if they weren't available for the new date. Once we got through all the crazy covid protocols needed in order to have the event (in which she was great organizing and making the process seamless), she did a fantastic job meeting with us a number of times to make sure we were all set and we had everything we needed. The day of, Elsie and team were on top of everything! They made sure we didn't have to worry about anything and just made sure we had fun at our wedding. If you are looking for someone who will really give you personal attention and who is also a great human being, i totally recommend Elsie and her team, Lovefordetails. Best wedding planner ever
Love for details made my dream wedding come true. I would not have been able to plan a wedding in Puerto Rico while leaving in New York without Elsie. From start to finish she was on point with every little detail. She made sure to keep my anxiety at rest, was so understanding and patient. She worked wonderfully with the vendors and made our destination wedding with guests from two completely different cultures Latin and Persian just perfect. We never thought my own wedding would exceed our expectations. Love for details went so above and beyond that I only had to travel once to Puerto Rico in one year of planning. A lot of this had to do with Elsie’s exquisite taste which made everything come out so beautiful. Nima and me feel blessed to have found the best wedding planner that made our special day so fun, dreamy and beautiful from beginning to finish. On our wedding day we had no worries and had the time of our lives. Welcome bags for our guests, rehearsal dinner, church ceremony, persian ceremony, cocktail, reception, and batucada were full of beautiful details that expressed out love for each other and made our guests feel so welcomed and excited. On June 2, I married the love of my life in a magical, perfect place. Without Elsie's help, this would not have been possible. In less than 3 months we coordinated the wedding, and without Elsie's support it would have been a disaster. Her love for every detail makes everything look perfect. The cake was delicious, we loved the photographer and the DJ was spectacular. My family and friends enjoyed the wedding from the beginning to end, even though it was Sunday. There was just magical atmosphere impossible to forget! I get goosebumps every time I talk about it!!!
Elsie, THANK YOU !! The guests had a great time, everyone had something to say about your attention and the beautiful decoration. Literally EVERYONE danced. The day was perfect thanks to you. I was sure it would be SPECTACULAR but everything exceeded our expectations. It was better than we dreamed !! I definitely need you for ALL our family events. 💕 -

I hired Elsie to assist me in the planning of my wedding with only three months in advance. I could not think of a better person to help me during this. All her recommendations were flawless and I have the most wonderful day! I also hired her to prepare the decorations for the venue and they were absolutely BEAUTIFUL!!!! The best wedding planner
Elsie Torres, from Love for Details, is THE BEST wedding planner in the world. I cannot overstate what a wonderful professional and beautiful human being she is. Maria Sent on 10/02/2018If you need wedding coordination (or any other event), you should consider Elsie and her team from Love for Details. Not saying this just because. I’m actually taking time to write this review, because after hiring them for our wedding, they deserve no less. I hired Elsie after seeing her work at my brother’s wedding, and she definitely exceeded our expectations. She was willing to go above and beyond her duties and I can’t thank her and her team enough for making our wedding a dream come true (even when we were living in mainland USA). She took care of everything in PR, which lifted some weight/stress off our shoulders. So, if you’re living abroad..don’t worry! Elsie can handle it. Elsie even volunteered to help us with some flower arrangements, which turned out PERFECT ❤️ We really appreciate all the help and support we received from Elsie and her team. Thank you!

Craig A. Sent on 05/14/2023Vendor was Missing in Action Weeks Before Wedding and Refused a Refund
I’m happy to have an opportunity to post a review about our experience - which was BAD. We actually hired Elise by word of mouth because she handled the wedding for the bride’s sister, and as a result, we felt comfortable we had the right person for the job. Elise helped at the beginning identifying vendors that I presume she works with regularly, but after that she constantly came to meetings unprepared and eventually dropped off the face of the earth and never responded to us for weeks - literally, six weeks that we counted. The worst part is that she disappeared during crunch time, almost 4-6 weeks before the wedding with several loose ends to address. She didn’t respond and no one on her team reached out. We were really frustrated and I actually told my now wife that we should give her more time, only to be disappointed that she never responded for another week or so. It wasn’t until we emailed her letting her know that we were going to cancel and move on with another wedding planner (which was a five fire alarm drill to find someone willing to help us out) that we even heard from her, and EVEN THEN, it took a week for her to respond. I think the worst of the worst with our experience with Elise is that when we did finally hear back from her, she refused any refund whatsoever (we paid 50% deposit upfront). She did mention that there were personal reasons she couldn’t respond, but really, 4-6 weeks before the wedding and no one your team can reach out, AND you refuse a refund. What kind of business is that? She refused to refund any of the deposit we had paid, and instead send examples of the “work” she did which wasn’t much at all. She even included emails that the bridge sent directly to vendors as proof of her work (LOL). As someone who works in client service, I saw a complete lack of ownership and professionalism is admitting a mistake and making it right. Good luck if you’re looking for an accountable wedding planner. There’s no backup on her team - it’s just her. And if she doesn’t deliver on the services she promised, you’re not getting a dime back.
Also, in looking back, we had to send her an agenda in advance to keep her on track to actually address action items to get things done. My wife and I were married almost 8 months ago, but in looking back, I’m still incredibly frustrated that someone would conduct business this way - even if we can’t get any of our money back, perhaps we can help someone else avoid this disaster. What kind of wedding planner disappears and doesn’t have back up to step in if they’re tied up. Apparently this is a second gig for her and she doesn’t feel the need to take it too seriously, even though clients are required to pay 50% upfront. Again, good luck. The most unprofessional display of client service I’ve seen in my life.
