Serena is a goddess when it comes to photography. Her love of light gives her photography a natural, but almost fantastic feel. On our first meeting with Serena my now husband and I felt so comfortable with her, which is saying a lot as we're of the shy, nerdy persuasion. She didn't pressure us into the sale (which, believe me, is uncommon in this process), and her previous work spoke for itself. Her use of light was the primary reason for us contacting her, but her calm, professional and fun manner sealed the deal. The day of the wedding was crazy (the schedule broke down before the ceremony even started) but Serena worked with the bridal party to get shots taken whenever she could. Her attention to detail is a treasure as I was overwhelmed that day but I'll have her portraits to remind me of what actually happened. I recommend Serena 100%.

WOW! Serena and Chad are amazing photographers! They were wonderful to work with and flexible with scheduling to do engagement photos! We love all of our pictures of our big day and we are so blessed to have found Serena and Chad to help us celebrate and create everlasting memories! Seriously, if you do not want to worry about your pictures go with Serena and Chad!!

Serena and her team were friendly, personable and willing to accommodate us (even with my very large family)! I was a little tentative about having someone come in from out of town to do our destination wedding, but I'm SO glad that we did. Serena covered our wedding like no one else could have. She is worth every penny, and more!

Hiring Serena and Chad as our photographers was easily the best decision we made in wedding planning. Not only are they professional, responsive, and wildly talented, they are the NICEST couple and really put my mind/nerves at ease on the wedding day itself. I know our photos will be magazine-quality (because I have already seen a sneak peek!) They also spent ample time with us for our engagement photos and made sure we hit all the locations we wanted. Serena has an amazing eye for detail and photo location; I trust her judgement completely and she helps a lot with how to pose and stand. Just look at their work!!! They also love capturing all of your little crafty wedding details that you spent hours agonizing upon while planning the wedding :) At least, that was me. Thank you, Serena and Chad! I really can't say enough positive things and would be happy to be used as a reference anytime.

Serena and Chad are absolutely amazing. They are so easy to get along with and put you - and everyone involved in your day - instantly at ease with their humor and kindness. We had a lot of photo-averse guests who warmed up to the camera and Serena was able to capture beautiful images of these typically camera-shy people! The results of our engagement session and wedding day are the most stunning, perfect images - I couldn't have dreamed up anything better. She made us look like movie stars, and truly captured our love on (digital) film. I will recommend her to everyone I know, and hope to use her again for other sessions!

WHAT a pleasure these people are to work with! Completely professional, very expedient in response time, and wonderfully flexible!
My husband is in the military, and our date changed twice before we knew for sure what day it would be on! By that time, Serena had already booked another event in a different state for the DAY before our wedding. I was devastated of course, knowing I could never find another photographer that I liked as much as her.
She was so understanding of the situation, and agreed to make it work, despite the scheduling conflict. Planning a military wedding can be rather stressful, and it was just so great to work with a vendor who was willing to be flexible and help make our day so great!
...And don't even get me started on the actual photography. Flawless.
And they provided expansive coverage of the entire day! There wasn't one moment that I thought "Man I really wish the photographers were here to capture this, where are they?" She and her husband make a wonderful team!

Serena worked with us to make the day special, despite less than perfect planning and procrastination on our part. She took great pictures while not getting in the way of the ceremony and somehow made my gorgeous wife even more beautiful.

I don't even know where to start to be sure Serena and Chad get all of the wonderful words they deserve. They have become like new friends to my husband and I. Serena went above and beyond in every aspect of our photography. She was incredibly flexible and so creative!! She has ideas for everything! She responds to emails almost immediately with tons of ideas and inspirations. As a team, they are very respectful and perfectly professional. In addition to all this, she made a beautiful bouquet for my bridal shoot, and she brought props for our engagement session. She even purchased colored and white parasols for the wedding and painted a white parasol with the word "Bride" for me.

I just can't express enough how much Serena and Chad did for us. On top of all of this, her pictures are BEAUTIFUL. She captures a perfect combination of formal and informal photography just as we wanted. She is reasonably priced and an overall joy to be around. I can't thank Chad and Serena enough for all that they did for us, and I HIGHLY recommend them to any bride. THANK YOU!!

Serena and Chad are not only fantastic at what they do, they are passionate about what they do are truly caring people. They are fun to be around and have great ideas. What I loved most about working with them is that they truly cared (and still care) about my husband and I as clients and people. We have formed a great friendship with them. Serena and Chad were amazing to work with! They were extremely organized and Serena was very detail oriented when discussing our wedding prior to the big day. It's obvious from working with her that she is very professional and always very prepared. Serena was also easy to get a hold of, always responding to phone calls and e-mails within the same day.

Serena puts a lot of thought into her photos, and it definitely shows. She picked some amazing locations for our formal, posed shots, and they looked incredible once I saw the final product. I also love that she goes out of her way to take photos that aren't posed, catching people in action. It makes the photos much more meaningful and memorable. She took lots of pictures of all the little DIY details we worked really hard on, and I'm so glad I will have those photos to look back at someday and remember everything about our special day.

Serena and Chad are very fun and easy to work with, and we were very excited to work with them! After anxiously awaiting the arrival of our photos, I was so happy with how they came out! All of our photos are amazing, and I would definitely recommend Serena to anyone!

I could not have been happier with Serena and her husband, Chad. I found her here on Wedding Wire, and as soon as I reviewed her portfolio, I knew that she could capture our wedding day exactly the way that I envisioned it. Our pictures are absolutely phenomenal!!! She was incredibly responsive (usually within the same day), punctual, and easy to work with throughout the entire process. On our wedding day I was delighted to have arrived at our venue to find that Serena and her husband were already there, hard at work! They definitely captured my wedding day exactly as I hoping. I highly recommend Serena!!!

Their photography is just stunning and left us with so many wonderful memories of our wedding. They were able to capture such beautiful shots even though we had a cloudy day. From the first time we spoke with Serena we knew that she was the right photographer to capture the most important day of our young lives. Despite planning events for a living, the stress of choosing vendors had been getting to us. We contacted quite a few photographers but nothing felt right. All tension was gone when we met Serena and her husbund Chad. She listens. She cares. Her passion for her art is obvious and her natural talent can be seen in every image she captures.
Our first interaction with Serena was planning an engagement shoot in Philadelphia. As we emailed back and forth it became obvious that she takes her craft seriously. She brought to the table a considerable amount of thought and research. What I expected to be a few shots turned into a city-wide adventure planned to perfection. The shoot, it turns out, helped the both of us. We got a better feel for Sarena's style, and in turn she was able to better understand our personalities. Serena's approach isn't simply a one-size-fits-all or a cookie cutter mentality. She takes the time to learn more about her clients so she can better capture their personalities. At no point did we feel like clients, however. Serena is one of the most personable and genuine people I have ever had the pleasure to meet. She instantly made us feel comfortable and this was evident in her pictures.
The relationship building from our engagement shoot made our wedding day that much better. Despite only meeting once due to living far from our wedding site, when we met with her on our big day we already felt like old friends. We had a hundred and one things to worry about that day, I can safely say, our photographer was never one of them. When disaster did strike (a slight wardrobe malfunction on the grooms behalf), the only words we heard were "There's no need to panic, I've got this taken care of," and sure enough from his side Chad pulled out a needle and thread and righted the wrong. From there, the rest is history which I am glad to say was perfectly captured in pictoral form by Serena and Chad.
They had scouted our location. They knew the best places to shoot. Our planned photos were executed with precision and care. During our reception they captured the energy of the dance floor and the emotion of our speakers.
Words cannot describe the experience we had with Serena. There is no better choice for a photographer for any occasion. Her photos speak for themselves.

Love by Serena was recommended to me by my friend who had used them for her wedding. This husband and wife duo made this sometimes cumbersome and overwhelming process easy and fun. They bring creativity and artistic integrity to everything they do. Our guests not only raved about the photos themselves but about the photographers and how fun and friendly they were. Not only did they put my husband and I at ease but they made my guests comfortable with being photographed. Serena takes beautiful photographs that truly capture the subject's personality and the moment. Serena and her husband worked as a team at my wedding and were constantly clicking away without being obtrusive. They were like magicians knowing just how to sneak in and get the best shots without being seen or in the way. After reviewing several options for photography for my wedding (including more formal vendors and free-lance), I decided on Serena for my wedding photographer. Serena was great - extremely timely with response to questions, willing to speak with me on the phone for questions throughout the process, etc. We discusses a couple times the shot list that I had & she also had some creative suggestions for potential shots.

Serena is reliable and extremely professional - and the quality of her photos is a true testament to this. I am 100% satisfied with the photos I received & it was a simply a pleasure to work with her through the entire planning process. I highly recommend Serena for your wedding if you are looking for a nice combination of traditional and creative shots, without the stuffi-ness of more formal photography studios.

Serena went above and beyond in photographing our wedding; she even went to the church and reception venue ahead of time to “scout” the shots! She took the time to put her artistic touch on every picture, and they turned out even more beautiful than we ever could have imaged! Serena is extremely professional and responsive, I would highly recommend her to every bride!

My husband and I could not be happier with the pictures and feel that we were so lucky to have found such a talented photographer for our special day!!!

Serena was the photographer for our July wedding & I have nothing but great things to say about her! I thought for sure come that day, I would be totally focused and calm but boy was I wrong. Even with my head spinning in 100 directions, not once did I wonder where she was or if she got pictures of the important parts. When I was able to view our wedding pictures in the online album, I literally re-lived my wedding day, start to finish. That is what amazed me - I was left speechless after seeing her work completed. Serena did an astonishing job and we could not be happier with our photos.

Serena shot engagement and wedding photos for me. The engagement session was a blast- we must have been shooting for 3-4 hours. She was open to the ideas my fiance and I had, and the photos turned out great! On the wedding day she shot hundreds of photos throughout the entire day. She got plenty of shots of each event throughout the day, from the bridesmaids and me getting ready to the last dance at the wedding reception. Again, she was open to suggestions from the wedding party, my husband and me, while also giving us great suggestions of her own. The wedding photos also turned out great!! Also, Serena's service is affordable. I had a very tight budget for my wedding, and when I first started researching photographers, I was overwhelmed by most of the prices. When I saw Serena's rates, I was relieved!! Definitely a great choice if you're on a budget and want great photos!
