Had THE most incredible experience working with the lovely ladies at Love Bird designing a dream wedding dress. If you’re feeling uncomfortable about the wedding dress shopping experience I would highly recommend visiting this adorable business in Mystic CT. Not only are they talented, they listen and care about the wedding dress you see yourself in. I can’t say enough about Ali and Andria - they are magical humans. -

I ended up ordering an Andria Bird Gown from Lovebird Bridal in Mystic - and OH MY GOODNESS I couldn't be happier I did.
I went in to try on a couple different gowns, but I was convinced I didn't actually want a wedding gown. Andi (the owner) understood me + my style, and the first gown she had me try was THE ONE. Andi also had me try on different gowns and allll the options just so I wouldn't regret anything and I am so happy she did.
Andi is so laid back in a good way - there's no pressure to choose a specific gown nor was I rushed to make a choice. I was given all the options even when I didn't know there were any lol.
I also want to mention I came to Andi postpartum, I wasn't comfortable in my body nor did I feel "wow" in anything I put on, but THIS GOWN was that WOW that every bride deserves on their wedding day.
I can 100% recommend Lovebird Bridal and will most definitely be back if I ever need a custom gown (I'm obsessed with another wedding gown of hers I want to shorten just to have in my closet) or accessories. -

Andie and her team are wonderful! I absolutely loved my experience with them. I loved my dress so much! Since I do not live nearby, I had to get my alterations done in North Carolina. Andie and her team helped me to find a seamstress that they recommended me using, which was so helpful! -

Andrea totally aced our first experience with her ( bridesmaids gowns), then our son got married and she put together the most amazing set of accessories to make the dress look perfect. Now that our daughter has her big day coming up we said Yes to the dress. Night and day to the other shops we looked at. As much a wonderful experience as an amazing dress. A true professional, Andrea pulled dresses that best fit our daughter's figure and personal style. The dress is breathtaking and perfect! -

This shop was amazing. I was already nervous because I was seeing a lot of no's when I was shopping around the state. The ladies made me feel comfortable right away and helped me pick the perfect dress! I had the place to myself with my mom and sister and we just had the best time! -

After coming to Love Bird Bridal as a last minute trip with my maid of honor, I had no idea I would be leaving with my dream dress (AND in budget). Emily was able to look at me and knew exactly what I was looking for! Emily (and Andi) made the space so comfortable and listened to everything I was looking for. Emily is just AMAZING and super sweet!
Andi also was able to find the PERFECT belt to make my dress complete! Plus Andi (and her daughter) are just amazing!
Such an amazing shop- if you are looking for a personal experience for finding your dress, Love Bird Bridal is the place to be! -

My experience with Love Bird Bridal was terrific. I was apprehensive about planning a wedding and the thought of finding a dress was so overwhelming. I started looking for local bridal places in Mystic and loved the whole vibe of the store. I went to check out a sample sale and the second dress I tried was "the one".
Andi was great to work with! I had shown her a hair clip from Nordstrom that I ordered for $250 and she said she could make one for under $100. It was perfect. I also decided to get a veil the day before my wedding, she made that (and the hair clip) that morning and dropped both of them off at my nail appointment in the afternoon! I was blown away.
I cannot thank Andi enough, and also Melissa (deMelis Atelier) for the alterations. Highly recommend whether you are local or not! -

Andi is absolutely amazing! Love Bird Bridal shop was the third place I went looking for my wedding dress. Andi listened to my wants and made my dress came to life. She was able to help me create my dream wedding dress. She is always easy to get in touch with and very flexible with appointments! She is super creative with accessories too! -

Coming to Love Bird was the first time I felt like the Bride-To-Be! The ladies at Love Bird know how to make a girl feel special. They not only have a beautiful store, but an inviting upstairs area that will comfortably accommodate you and your party. During your appointment you are their main priority and they will help in any way possible to get you into YOUR dress. After my first fitting, I had definitely chosen the designer I wanted but wasn't sure on the dress. They went out of their way to contact the designer herself to get a few styles loaned to them that I had seen online, JUST so I could try them on... and wouldn't you know it, one of them turned out to be THE dress! Once you find the one, they will doll you up with a veil and maybe even one of the handmade hair pieces for a full look (cue the tears). My mom loved one original hairpiece so much, she bought it for me for Christmas. I think I must open it and stare at it like at least once a week, it is priceless! Just absolutely stunning. They also have a gorgeous array of bridesmaid dresses to choose from, which is where my girls will be getting their gowns from. I genuinely cannot say enough good things and I cannot wait to come back to pick my dress up!

Words cannot describe how wonderful the whole dress shopping experience was with Andi at Love Bird Bridal. I was hopelessly searching for a lace wedding dress that would arrive in time for my wedding in Greece last July (I began searching in February), but was told by many other bridal stores that I would have very limited selection since I needed at least 6-9 months to order a dress, let alone time for alterations. I felt as though I was being punished for having a short engagement! However, from the moment my best friend and I entered the Love Bird Bridal shop, I knew there was something special there. When I met Andi, I felt as though I was meeting one of my good friends who was also there to support and help me find a dress. She was extremely attentive and made me feel so comfortable and at ease during the whole process (unlike most of the other bridal stores I visited). I loved was that she worked with me to create a stunning semi-custom dress (including a beautiful custom veil and hair combs), with the tailoring expertise of Melissa Oddo (who I also recommend!), that was exactly what I wanted for my wedding day (and for MUCH less than a typical custom dress - believe me, I checked)! Andi assured me that she would help me get my dress in time for alterations before June and she delivered! Her attention to detail was right in line with my own expectations. I am beyond thrilled with my experience at Love Bird Bridal. If you are looking for a wedding dress along the Connecticut/RI shoreline, make an appointment with Love Bird Bridal! You won't regret it! -
Kasey Sent on 10/16/2017I wish I could give Andi 10 stars. I had gone to one bridal store before meeting with her because they carried a specific designer I was in love with. I hate trying clothes on in general so I wasn't overly excited about finding a dress. I had an okay experience with the shop, but the designer I was in love with was wayyy out of my price range. When I first met with Andi I explained the styles of dresses I tried on and still wasn't overly excited about the process. She has an eye for body shape and what dresses are complimentary to you. After showing her pictures of the dresses I was in love with (but couldn't afford) we began discussing how we could try and make my vision work. I also voiced that I wanted to use pieces of lace from my mothers dress and to incorporate somehow. Well needless to say she is my new BFF. We met multiple times and created my "dream" dress with my mother's dress and Andi's impeccable eye. She also added a sparkly belt and created a hair piece with the lace from my mom's dress as well. I received SO many compliments and was so happy with how it came out. Andi came to all of my alteration appointments and made the process so easy. I also got all of my bridesmaid dresses from her which also was pretty effortless. Andi's ability to make each experience personalized is what sets her apart from other bridal stores. You will not be disappointed trust me! You will be doing yourself a disservice by not going to her!

Andi was so personable and helpful at every step of the way. She even helped set up the cleaning of the gown once the wedding was over. I was so happy with the whole experience. I would definitely recommend stopping by her shop! -

Andi does not oversell her dresses. She is honest and thoughtful. I had been looking for dresses for a couple of weeks and feeling like I was never going to find a dress I was in love with. Andi called me after my initial visit to let me know she was having trunk show and the designer was perfect for me. She was ABSOLUTELY right! I had trouble deciding because there were so many gorgeous dresses in the collection. I appreciated the phone call and was so impressed that Andi was so spot on with my style and what I was looking for. Andi only sells American made dresses and has a few eco minded designers in her collection. I was so happy to spend my money at a small local business operating with consciousness. Every step of the process was laid back, yet professional. I would send my best friend to Andi. I am so grateful that our paths crossed. -

What made my veil extra special is that Andrea was able to take my Mom's veil and make it into the blusher as my something old! She also took the bow from my Mom's veil and made a headband for my flower girl! I would recommend Andria Bird Bride to any woman that want to look and feel absolutely stunning on her wedding day! -

Going to Andi's shop in Mystic is one of the first and best things I did when getting ready for my wedding. Forget the stuffy wedding boutiques you're used to, this place is a breathe of fresh air. Not only is the shop itself cute but the dresses Andi stocks are unique and traditional at the same time. Andi made the dress process so easy and fun and even got me to try on some dresses I felt weren't my style but actually looked great on me. I ended up loving the 2nd dress I tried on (the first Andi picked out based on hearing what I liked). I got my dress before Covid and Andi was so helpful along the way. We ended up getting my bridesmaid dresses there when my sisters saw a dress they loved on the rack. And don't sleep on the accessories! Andi helped me pair the perfect belt with my dress and I couldn't say no to a veil and comb - both of which she made. I cannot wait to FINALLY wear this dress in 3 weeks!!
