Absolutely Stunning Venue – A Hidden Gem in the Mountains

We couldn't have chosen a more perfect place for our wedding than Louland Falls. The venue is truly breathtaking — nestled right into the mountainside, surrounded by natural red rock formations and lush greenery. There's even a peaceful creek that winds through the property and leads back into a serene canyon. It feels completely tucked away and private, even though it's just off Parleys Canyon. You’d never guess such a hidden oasis exists so close to the city.

The owner and coordinators were incredibly responsive and helpful throughout the entire planning process. Every message and email was answered promptly, which really helped ease any stress. The catering was delicious — every dish was fresh and flavorful, and we loved that they host open house events where you can taste the food and meet with vendors beforehand. It made planning much more personal and enjoyable.

Louland Falls gave us a magical, natural setting and professional support to make our day unforgettable. Highly recommend to any couple looking for a scenic, mountainous, and well-run venue!

Best Day of Our Lives

Not only is this venue beautiful, Mark and Amy made everything easy and took so much stress out of our big day! I was a stressed out bride in the morning and as soon as I arrived and saw how well everything was put together I was immediately at ease.

We had a hiccup or two with other vendors and Amy took care of it for me so I didn't have to worry about a single thing during our reception. I had more than one guest tell me that it was the most fantastic venue they had been to. The food was delicious and presented beautifully. Our photographer went ceaxy running around capturing all of the gorgeous details. The staff was so accommodating and we couldn't have been happier. We loved everything about our day!

The Best Wedding Experience!

Amy and her team at Louland Falls were absolutely fantastic. Everyone was so helpful in the planning process of the wedding and were a dream to work with during the event. Every guest complimented the scenery and the service of the staff. With their help, my now husband and I were able to enjoy the evening without stress.
It was a plus having catering included with the venue, the food was delicious!

These guys know how to host an event!

A Piece of Paradise

Just stunning!!! Not only are the views surrounding you beautiful but the owner, wedding planner and staff of this venue are just so accommodating and there to make your dreams come true! The catering service they offer is just fabulous! This place is like no other place we've seen! Also very reasonable.

Choose this venue!

Louland Falls was perfection. We booked our data a little over a year out. Our initial tour with Mark really solidified Louland as our venue. It's gorgeous by itself so I loved not having to worry about decor. The Open House they provide every month before wedding season helped us determine our menu and find our florist. Amy was an absolute dream. She treated us and our family like we were her own. I honestly don't think our day would have been as successful as it was without her. She's an expert as a wedding coordinator and went above and beyond for us. I highly recommend this venue and staff. We're still getting compliments about how great the day was!

Amy and her team is amazing

Louland falls venue made my wedding dream come true. I received so many compliments from my guests about how beautiful the space was, how amazing the team was, and how great the food was. Amy is the most amazing coordinator and we still talk to each other after the wedding has passed. The day was flawless and if there were any issues, I never knew and the day will forever be like a dream. I wish I could turn back time and go back and slow the day down.

Beautiful location and amazing staff!

This is the most beautiful venue with the most amazing staff. The owner, Mark, is incredibly helpful and responds promptly. Having 2 day of coordinators made everything move along seamlessly, we had Amy and Katelyn and they were absolutely amazing. We also used many of their recommended vendors and were incredibly happy with how everything turned out. The food was delicious as well. I would absolutely recommend Louland Falls to any couple planning their wedding!

A Dream Venue!!

This is an absolutely gorgeous venue. Our friends and family could not stop raving about how amazing this location was, being right between Park City and Salt Lake City! But more than anything, Mark, Amy, and their entire staff really make the day perfect.
First, Mark was very accommodating on the timing of us touring the property since we were visiting from out of town and was quick to respond to all our emails moving forward. He is not kidding when he says you will not need your own wedding planner or day of coordinator. Amy is truly all you will need! Amy helped us with all our details prior to the wedding, including helping with table layouts, menu choices, bar logistics, and a full day of timeline, etc. Any stress we were feeling Amy was quick to put us at ease.
On the day of our wedding, Amy and her team handled everything with no concern! They set up all the tables, centerpieces, linen, handled vendor coordination, put up umbrellas as guests arrived, turned on the heaters when it got cold, everything!! The wedding events ran so smoothly and that’s by and large due to all the work Amy and the staff were doing! They really took care of us and our group the entire night.
You have to use their catering service which was convenient, and the food was SO good. Our guests went back for more and we're even talking about it the next day.
Mark and Amy really try to do everything they can to help bring your wedding vision to life. Thank you to the entire Louland Falls crew for helping make our day absolutely perfect!! If you’re into mountains, red rocks, waterfalls, this is the place to get married!

the MOST BEAUTIFUL venue with the best staff

Louland Falls was a dream venue! The team here is amazing & handled so many of the details that add stress & money to a wedding day. Amy was the perfect day of coordinator and answered all our questions leading up the wedding and worked with all our vendors to make the entire day perfect. They made every dream and wish come true. We had full confidence in their team and didn’t have to worry about a thing.
Not only is this venue stunning, it is set up to accommodate guests and flows beautifully from ceremony to cocktail hour to reception. Our guests loved being able to explore the trails, play games, and be in such a beautiful venue.
The food is AMAZING and so well priced for wedding food. Mark worked with us to create the perfect menu for our guests.
The only complaint that our guests had was that they wished the wedding was longer & we wish we would’ve been able to dance for longer!

Magical Venue in the Mountains

We cannot recommend this venue enough!! First, the scenery is absolutely amazing. If you're looking for a natural outdoor setting in the mountains for your big day - this is your place. The venue is very well cared for; there are many beautiful backdrops for pictures, and it is easy to get to. The venue requires you their catering service, which made things way easier for us, and the food was delicious!! There are monthly tastings during the off-season, so you can visit the venue and get excited for your big day while tasting most of the menu before you decide what will fit your day. They also provide recommendations and connections to other vendors who have worked there before. You don't have to use any of these recommendations, but we did and we are SO glad we did.
Most of all, the staff (Mark, Amy, Megan, Tom and the whole team) are incredible. From the first time we visited, we felt welcome and supported. It really is a huge bonus to have day of coordinators (yes more than one!) who help with the planning along the way and then execute the plan on the big day.
The team is more than willing to accommodate your vision and work within your budget to make your big day everything you hope for. They went above and beyond on our wedding day to ensure we and our guests were comfortable. Our day was magical, and we attribute much of that to Louland Falls! If you can find a date here, don't hesitate to book!

Amazing venue and service!

I highly recommend this venue! It is absolutely gorgeous and pictures do not do it justice. On top of that, Mark, the owner, is very responsive and works with you in regards to catering, tables, rentals, etc. Also, I cannot say enough good things about Amy - the day of wedding coordinator that was there on my day, and the rest of her team! They made sure the day ran smoothly and helped our timeline go as planned. They really took care of us, our wedding party, families, and friends. I seriously cannot speak enough of this place, and I highly recommend booking this venue!

Gorgeous venue!

This venue is absolutely stunning and I was so glad to secure a date with them! I had my wedding here a few weeks ago and it was the perfect day! The backdrop is gorgeous and our guests were blown away by the setting and the mountain scenery. I also can’t rave about the on-site coordinators enough! Amy met with us multiple times leading up to the big day to make sure everything was all set and Estella was the main point person in charge of our wedding day itself. Estella was behind the scenes ensuring our day was executed perfectly and was so helpful and easy to work with!

The catering for our dinner & dessert was also delicious and a crowd pleaser!

Our special day

We had planned to get married back in 2020, however with the Covid situation we had to postpone, particularly due to international guests. Mark and his team accommodated us in ways unfathomable. With so many last minute adjustments, including unforeseen weather (heavy rain!), Amy and the team were incredibly supportive and accommodating. She even made sure amidst all the craziness that I ate some dinner. She mirrored our energy and was so attentive. Her professionalism along with her bright light, made our special day truly flawless. Louland Falls comes highly recommended!

Beautiful venue with amazing team!

We had a perfect wedding day, and I attribute a lot of that to the incredible team at Louland Falls. Aside from the actual venue being so beautiful, it was obvious from the first tour that the owner and his staff are so experienced and so professional. They also include so much in the rental of their venue (that most places don't) that made my planning experience way less stressful, and much more affordable. Amy was our on-site coordinator for the wedding day and she did an amazing job making sure everything went smoothly. I had only positive experiences with this venue and team and am so happy we had our wedding with them. I would highly recommend using this venue, you won't be sorry!

Outstanding experience

Not only was the venue incredibly beautiful, clean, and spacious, but working with Mark and Amy was extremely easy! We booked the venue 14 months in advance and we had constant help and communication from management while picking the menu and all the details for our day. Our wedding day went super smoothly thanks to them and their wonderful team. I would recommend getting married at Louland Falls to anyone! Thanks again!

Love this venue! Love their Staff!

First of all, this place is gorgeous! Every guest I spoke to that day and since, has commented on how beautiful the venue was—it was perfect!

But let’s talk staff, since this is where the real magic in this venue is. Mark was great to work with. He knows this industry in and out and was so responsive. Even when things were busy, there wasn’t a single email he did not respond to, not one phone he did not return. Plus, he was just fun to talk to.

Amy—godsend! She is so, so sweet and such a calming presence. Believe me, no matter how prepared you think you are for your big day, and even when things are going well, the emotions will get to you and Amy is very sensitive to that. Just having her calm in the room, is a blessing in and of itself. She also tried very hard to keep my dinner plate warm for me, but every time I sat down to eat, a guest would pull me away. But I so appreciated her thinking of me.

Honestly, I wish I knew the names of every staff member that worked that night. They were all professional, responsive, and polite. I did get to speak to the bar tender for a brief moment and she was so nice and so complimentary of how the night played out—which I really appreciated.

There may be a part of me that wants to get married again, just so I can return to this venue. 😜

Saved the day!

Everyone at Louland was so wonderful to work with! The weather unexpectedly turned and they handled every single detail and changed everything at the last minute. Perfect wedding

We had an excellent experience with this venue. The location is beautiful and even more stunning when fully set-up for the wedding than you can imagine. The owner Mark was a prompt communicator and we felt was easy to work with. The coordinators do a great job showing personal interest in the little details that matter to you. Expensive but worth it!

This venue was the very first venue we looked at and we immediately knew it was going to be the perfect venue for us! We didn’t even look at any other venues after touring this one! It’s so beautiful, we didn’t even need our own decor, really. Nature spoke for itself and the coordinators were incredibly attentive and made everything so easy for us. We hardly had to lift a finger, they were so so amazing and made our day absolutely perfect!

The perfect place for a beautiful mountain wedding!

GORGEOUS place for a wedding! We and our guests (most of whom are professionals who have lived in Salt Lake for over 20 years and are used to being in beautiful venues) were all amazed at how amazing the setting was, and we all wondered how it is possible that not everyone knows about this hidden gem. Mark and his team of coordinators were true professionals - the food (catered by Mark, which also made the wedding planning much easier) was SO good - how often do guests rave about the food at a wedding??? They did for ours! The coordinators (Megan and Nicole) were super organized and kept the day flowing well, the bartenders were fun and personable, and the dance floor was large enough for over 100 guests to be dancing at the same time. The day was so wonderful that we wish we could do it all over again...and if we did we would most certainly choose Louland Falls, Mark, and his team again! And...they allowed dogs, so our golden retriever, Enzo Furfante, was the ring bearer!

I could not have found a more perfect venue!

So many thoughtful touches and we loved how secluded it was. Honestly, could not asked for a better venue. Reasonably priced and they are so flexible & easy to work with.
Working with Mark, Amy and their entire team was nothing short of fantastic.

It is dreamy!

Louland Falls is where we had our ceremony and reception! I had family and friends come from Michigan, Florida, Arizona, Montana, and all over from Utah! we had 170 people attend and they all were blown away by how beautiful this venue was!! IT IS DREAMY!!! The venue owner mark is easy and wonderful to work with! The rest of the work crew were wonderful and helpful! Amy the wedding coordinator was AMAZING!!! She made planning and my wedding day easy and flow wonderfully!! She was on top of things and made it just a magical day!! The food is so delicious and our guests loved it!! The lighting, waterfalls, mountain tops and flowers made our out door wedding over the top romantic and classy!!! If you have hesitations, go take a tour!!! It is stunning and everyone is so friendly and helpful! you cant go wrong with this venue!! I wish i could do it all over again!!

The perfect venue!

Louland Falls is the best of the best when it comes to venues. It is hands down the most beautiful perfect venue and the staff is so amazing as well! The owner, Mark was quick to respond and was incredibly nice and supportive. The two day of coordinators Amy and Megan were the reason my wedding day was perfect! They took care of me and made sure everything went PERFECT. I had to change venues to Louland falls due to COVID-19 and they helped me replan my whole wedding in only one month. It is the perfect place to start your happily ever after!

Helped make my wedding everything I dreamed

I cannot say enough good things about this venue and the staff! They helped make my wedding everything I ever dreamed of and more! Amy was absolutely amazing. She was so helpful and made sure everything was taken care of. The food was delicious what little I was able to eat. Being the bride I was mostly running around taking care of business and talking to people and didn’t have much time to eat ha ha. They were very flexible and helped when the weather wasn’t quite as expected. Do yourself a favor and hire this venue! Worth every penny!

Amazingly Gorgeous Venue-10/05/2019

Louland Falls was the most perfect venue for our daughter’s wedding. It turned out to be everything she had envisioned. Working with Mark from the beginning was easy. He and Amy (the on-site coordinator), made everything run effortlessly and smoothly. They were both so flexible and helpful throughout. The day/venue was magnificent. The views, waterfalls and lights made it so beautiful. The food was great and all of the guests loved every part of the evening.

Fairytale wedding

Watching your son walk his precious daughter down the isle, with tears of joy is one of those moments you will never forget... Add to that.. the most beautiful mountains, waterfalls and breath taking views....and your heart explodes with gratitude for nature is celebrating with you. ... Add to that.. delicious food.. great amenities and cheerful service..how can you not recommend Louland Falls as the perfect outdoor wedding venue. The owner Mark Petrey will calm all your concerns.. make wonderful suggestions and will make you want to hug him afterwards for making your fairytale wedding come true.

Amazing venue! Magical night!!

This place is absolutely amazing. My husband & I live in AZ but planned to get married in SLC. I chose Louland Falls because of the beautiful setting & I wanted an outdoor wedding. We booked the venue without ever seeing it & I am so happy we did. Every email I sent was answered promptly. We finally saw the venue 4 days before the wedding & it exceeded all my expectations. I was speechless. That was when I met Amie, our wedding coordinator. She was amazing to work with. On the day of the ceremony she had everything set & it all went smoothly. All of our guests loved the venue & talked about it for days. You will not be disappointed with this place or the people. They gave us a magical, fairytale evening.

Breathe taking venue ! Go for it !!

When my future husband and I arrived at Louland Falls we instantly loved this place, it is incredibly beautiful. I received a lot of compliment about how awesome is this venue.
Mark the owner is super professional and will guide you through all the steps.
Amy was my coordinator during the wedding day and she was awesome, so helpful, super super organized.
The food proposed was really really good, the guests loved it ! So did I !

Thanks to the team at Louland Falls I was so relax, during the whole day, I enjoyed every single minutes of it, I was fully there and not stressed at all. I highly highly recommend this venue.

An amazing experience with magical results

I cannot overstate how impressed I am with Louland Falls! Mark was wonderful to work with, and his event coordinator, Amy, made sure everything ran smoothly during our wedding. Mark was incredibly responsive and flexible from start to finish, both of which I greatly appreciated. He was dedicated to helping us bring our wedding vision to life, and it was nothing short of a magical experience. Plus, the venue itself is absolutely beautiful! We were getting compliments on our venue choice all night. The experience and entire process were everything we could have hoped for. I highly recommend Louland Falls!

Amazing!

Louland Falls is such a beautiful venue to get married at. Mark, the owner, was always available to answer our questions that we had and he was always willing to work with us. Amy, the coordinator, was great! My entire wedding day went smoothly with the help of Amy and her team. Overall, the venue was beautiful, the service was amazing, and the food catering was delicious. I received a lot of compliments from family members and friends on how beautiful and coordinated everything was. The most important thing that I loved about having my wedding at Louland Falls, is that you can tell and feel how much Mark and Amy care about your happiness. For any future couples wanting to get married between May-October, I would HIGHLY recommend Louland Falls.

Beyond beautiful

This venue has it all for the adventurous kind of couple. Perfect for a huge guest list! Wheelchair accessible to which was huge on our checklist. We adored the waterfalls and hike to the top, very easy calm hike if you chose to go see the waterfalls. The backdrop for the alter was breath taking. The gentleman showing us around was great! Very nice, explained everything they offer, all the pricings, ect.

Dream Venue!

Louland Falls was my absolute dream venue! The photos online don’t even do justice to this GORGEOUS place! It was absolutely the most beautiful, secluded, special place I could have said “I Do!” Mark, the owner, is truly exceptional to work with and the staff took such wonderful care of us that day! I would recommend Louland Falls to anyone looking for a beautiful outdoor wedding in Salt Lake!

Stunning Venue

When I first got engaged I had no idea where to start looking for venues. Luckily Google and Wedding Wire exists but the pictures online do not do this place justice, the views are breathtaking. Luckily, we caught an open house and the second I walked up the steps, I knew I had to have this venue. As you can imagine the available dates were very far in advance but after walking around the venue I can understand why - also very lucky the date I wanted was available so I took it immediately. Mark was the biggest help during the planning and offered much advice to wedding newbs such as myself, things to think about, maybe this, maybe that, and the "big day" of came together beautifully. His two assistants worked so hard to get everything setup properly and I could not be happier, I loved this venue and have zero regret.

Mark and his staff were exceptional. They were professional and organized. I arrived with flowers, liquor and desserts galore, and they handled everything from setting up the bar, to plating the desserts, to staging flowers on tables and arbors. I didn't have to do a thing and all was perfect. They also have a venue that accommodated EVERYONE. We had elderly people inside in the comfort of air conditioning, children outside playing in the grassy areas, with their parents in comfortable view, and everyone else exploring the multiple terraces, walk-ways and dance floor. All with spectacular vistas, excellent food and constant inquiries about our needs. BOOK IT! you won't regret it.

We had the most enchanting wedding reception at Louland Falls! The setting: stunning! The food: truly exceptional! Our Bride and Groom were looking for an indoor /outdoor fresh air kind of place and this was perfect. The food was such a big hit with everyone! I couldn't have been more pleased. It was so amazing to dance under the stars next to the dramatic water fall and red cliffs. We had all ages attending and all enjoyed the venue. Little kids loved running in the grassy area and exploring the paths that wind up around the falls and stream. The millennial crowd and older crowd all enjoyed the romantic, dramatic setting. The staff was very easy and amazing to work with and took care of our every need--super polite, helpful and professional. We had some unusual requests and they were very willing to accommodate our fun plans. Not many places are so flexible. What a great memory!

Excellent location, interesting for guests to walk as they wait for photographs to complete, professional people who know what they are doing. Day of, 1 hour prior to wedding we realized that I forgot to order cloth napkins for dinner. They used their connections and got them there on time to set the tables! Amazing experience, perfect day, owe a lot of that to them!! HIGHLY recommend!!

I used this venue for my wedding in June. They were extremely professional, and the staff were ready to help with anything I needed. We also used the premier caterers - cosmopolitan catering - and they were the best. They helped me create a custom menu, and the food was so good! My guests loved it, and there was plenty of food. We had the mashed potato bar and it was so good!

Louland Falls created a magical memory for my daughter's wedding. It's a beautiful place! They were very accommodating and flexible, the staff was amazing! My daughter lives in Utah and I'm from Arizona where venues can be very expensive. I found the prices to be very reasonable. Thank you Mark and everyone at Louland Falls!

I don't think I could have asked for a better experience! Louland Falls is absolutely beautiful and a one of a kind venue. Lize is so amazing and works so hard to make sure the bride, groom, and family do not have to worry about a thing on the day of their wedding. She is so accommodating and willing to meet with you however many times you need before the big day and very easy to get ahold of if you have questions with anything. The venue is so amazing and if you want an outdoor wedding in the mountains this is the place to go. We got so many compliments and so many of our guests loved our venue choice. I would recommend Louland Falls in a heart beat!

I have nothing but good things to say about my experience with Louland. The beauty of this venue is unreal. I didn't do a lot of decorations because of this. Not only is the scenery incredible but the people that run it are even better. They were so helpful the entire time. We were able to bring some of our stuff up in advance since they didn't have an event and the last time I was not able to go up with my fiance. He brought back the sheet that I needed to fill out about the decorations and how I wanted it set up. I filled that out at midnight the night before our wedding and emailed it to her. I felt really bad about getting it to her so late but when we got there the next day everything that we brought up had been set up and it looked great! With the remaining decorations that we brought the day of she took charge and finished it up right away. I was so impressed and happy with this place.

The team at Louland is absolutely fantastic, and the value is great. They include all the tables, chairs, linens, and even additional decorating(like lights in the trees) as part of the package. They setup our centerpieces, and ran everything from the ceremony music to sending people down the aisle for me, and I couldn't be more pleased with how well the bits they were in charge of went! We got so many compliments on the venue itself as well! It really is lovely, and especially so as the sun goes down.

Rachel and Lize are amazing to work with! They took care of my every need and question from the beginning! Tell them what you want, they will make it happen! They are highly flexible and extremely easy to work with. The venue is beautiful as well. The grounds are kept nice and the waterfall makes for a beautiful backdrop. We also loved that the room for the bride and groom to get ready in. It's large and roomy and lots of room for our family too. We also loved that we can bring in our own alcohol. It cut down our costs tremendously compared to other venues. Highly recommend this venue!

We looked hard for the perfect venue, and we certainly found it at Louland Falls!

This venue is stunning, with this gorgeous red rock path that leads you up to a lovely natural waterfall that feeds the stream on the property. We visited the venue in September, November, and had our wedding in June, and it was beautiful year-round.

The staff are really what made it so special though. They were incredibly helpful from day one. Lize worked with me to decide on a timeline and layout, and her staff did all the work setting up tables, chairs and decor. I know my family really appreciated not having to do the work so they could just enjoy the day too.

They have a couple options for tablecloths and decor too, so you don't have to rent! Everyone was so nice and made sure that all or guests were comfortable, I really can't speak highly enough of team at Louland.

For the quality of the venue and service, I would have expected to pay several times what we did. We're so happy we chose Louland Falls!

Everything was FABULOUS, and the staff members at Louland Falls were a huge support! I appreciated how they went out of their way to look for things we may need to have done - from setting up the games on the lawn to helping with the buffet. I appreciated the suggestions they made for things we hadn't even thought of, and I appreciated the way they responded to our requests. Rachel looked out for our needs in every way. Louland Falls was an absolutely amazing place to get married. Aside from the fact that it's a beautiful location, Lize and Rachel were very helpful and worked around the fact that my wife and I are busy, struggling college students. Even considering that, our wedding ended up being everything that we wanted and more. We had our own DJ, but the staff at Louland helped with cuing the ceremony music and every other need that we had. It was a wonderful experience and I would absolutely recommend this venue to other people planning to get married.

Lize and the Louland Falls team were beyond wonderful to work with! The venue is gorgeous and the prices are outstanding for the value of service and scenery you get! We were looking for an outdoor venue with a mountain backdrop for our wedding day and Louland Falls couldn't have been more perfect for us. Lize and her team took care of all the little details, from setting up center pieces, hanging drapery, managing vendors, and even setting up heat lamps and handing out hot chocolate when our reception got chilly! The location and natural beauty of this venue can't be beat. Our guests have been talking about how gorgeous it is non-stop. Lize and the staff are INCREDIBLY accommodating. I would highly recomment louland falls to anyone looking for an outdoor wedding. The venue is beautiful and mother nature at her best. I really couldnt have asked for a better outdoor venue. Every single one of our guest raved to me about how beautiful it was and how they had no idea this gem was tucked up in the mountains. They are so easy to work with from our first visit Maria was wonderful and has great ideas and helped us create a great game plan for our wedding. They are so flexible and really want each bride to have the vison they want. I met with Lize one of the owners right before my wedding and she was there on the wedding to help with anything that was needed and to make sure it all went smoothly they even helped set up our decorations. They are great to work with and I recommend them!

Louland Falls and staff are absolutely incredible. The venue is breathtakingly beautiful, comfortable, well thought out with large patios and waterfalls, rocks, indoor space, technology for anything we wanted to do sound system, slide shows, videos, etc. Our family and friends were awed by how beautiful it is. The entire facililty is yours for your day. The staff is personable and professional. They willingly accomodated our vision for our day. They were helpful, answered every question, covered every detail. It was a stressfree and incredibly memorable day for us and our family and guests. I absolutely recommend them!

All around we had a great experience, but two things that really stood out we're how easy they made it with their in house coordination staff and catering, and also the beauty of the venue - we barely had to think about decorations because the venue itself was the decor.

I really loved this venue, and working with Mark was so easy. He is very down-to-earth and reasonable. During the reception there were a few occasions I couldn't easily find the venue coordinator, and they dressed business casual hence the 4.5 on quality and professionalism. Otherwise, everything was done at a great value with quality, enthusiasm and experience and a sincere concern for our wedding day to be great.

We were married and help out reception here at Louland Falls on August 6th and we just could not be happier with our venue choice! It is absolutely beautiful!!! It is truly a hidden gem of a venue and it's crazy how many people don't know about it. We didn't until searching for venues earlier this year and went for a tour and fell in love! I am so happy we did to because so many guests kept saying the same thing that they had no idea it was even here but that it was so beautiful. We were torn between here and Red Butte Gardens and the thing that broke the "tie" was Louland allows pets so our 2 dogs were able to be a part of our big day :)
The staff was also top notch. Mark was always there to meet up or answer our questions or requests (such as getting my husbands motorcycle up there for photos) Rebecca and another awesome girl (I feel bad I cannot remember her name but she was great!) were there all day and night helping make sure things ran smoothly and they did. Everything was just perfect. Thank you Louland Falls for making our day so magical. We have nothing but good things to say and will always recommend you guys! - The Mortons

If I did it all again I would absolutely do it the same. Lize and Rachel have been absolutely amazing, helpful, reasonable, and accommodating.
The only complaint I have is that the microphone for the keyboard was not turned on, so people didn't really hear the beautiful piano music going, but to be fair, I don't think that was Louland Falls' fault.
They had my center pieces put together just how I'd asked them to and had it set up before I even arrived the day of our wedding. The venue itself is so pretty that I really didn't have to spend or do much by way of decorating. We got compliments the entire night on how smoothly everything went and how gorgeous the venue is.

They set up our decorations, after the ceremony they took down the chairs and set up yard games while we were eating, then after dinner they broke down some of the chairs to make room for dancing and at the end of the night they took the center pieces apart and had them back in the boxes I'd brought everything in, ready for us to load into the car and take home.

Rachel did an awesome job at coordinating everything and the staff always been very helpful, and knowledgable throughout the whole process.

This facility is one of the most beautiful I've seem in Utah! The new owners have completely remodeled it and it is absolutely amazing! Perfect for weddings and family photos. Lize one of the owners was amazing to work with and did a fantastic job. She was flexible with allowing me to have my own vendors come in. The only downside was that the last week before the wedding when I thought we would communicate the most - there was a lack of communication. I had asked for a certain amount of chairs be removed for those that were not coming and they were not removed. So in the videos and pictures it looks bare and that not many of the people showed up. But other than that this place was elegant, classy and the best kept secret around! You made my dreams come true! Thank you!

Beautiful Venue with great staff. You have the whole place to yourself and your guests... No room in a building where other people not from your party are roaming around. Lize is very friendly and will get back to you ASAP whenever you call. The grounds are stunning and they are very accommodating. Most places want the final details weeks in advance but since we weren't sure about the weather we were able to decide exactly where we wanted to have our ceremony just the week of. I wouldn't have wanted to have my wedding any other place. It was perfect for us. Plus they give discount to military.

Louland Falls was magical!

I was so so happy that we chose Louland Falls for our wedding venue. Both coordinators were extremely helpful making every idea happen and easing the flow of events. Amy and Megan were cheerful, sweet, thoughtful, and took the stress off of my plate. The gorgeous outdoor scene makes it where you don’t need to think about or spend money on excess decor, because it’s naturally perfect! It’s a special place for guests to visit and spend a night of dinner and dancing at. Plenty of space for 200 guests. The owner, Mark, owns the catering business which you must use for food…. but it tasted amazing. They offer open house events once a month for brides that book with them so that you can meet vendors and taste food options-for free! They also book up dates fast and are closed in Winter season, so book a year out for your ideal date. If you’re looking for a unique outdoor space close to Salt Lake City, with the mountainous and serene vibe-this is your place!

Beautiful location!!

This place is beautiful! The venue is very well taken care of and the staff is great! Especially Amy! She is amazing, we loved her!!! They were easy to work with and wanted to make sure the wedding was amazing. I would pick this venue all over again!!

Louland Falls is obviously a stunning venue based off appearance alone. But I was a little concerned about how much it cost, just for the venue alone! They were great to work with our budget though. They even helped us cut corners to make sure we were within budget and added on things that were not included in the beginning (linens, etc.) I think all of this was due to Cosmopolitan Catering though. They took over the venue only months before our wedding. It was quite the scare to say the least but they pulled it off. Overall it was a great venue definitely on the pricey side though.

Going to be having wedding there next year.: so far they are all well put together and we get to bring our own liquor and bartender. It's the money saver.

We got married a few weeks ago and the venue was so beautiful and unique! The staff were all great except the set up and take down of decor was not as I had hoped and took longer than promised. Overall a great experience and the venue was breathtaking!

This Venue is absolutely stunning! I loved it the moment I saw it! It's very open and can have up to 350 people both ceremony and reception. I really liked working with Liza and her team! They were so accommodating! You have to get a quote through their caterer, however I loved that they were willing and flexible with bringing your own in, this also including your own food if you decided on not getting a caterer. I love that you have the whole mountain scenery in the background! It made everything perfect!

I loved Louland Falls! Lize was so easy to work with and so accommodating to my schedule to meet with her and do wedding planning! I never felt like I was forgetting to finish anything with how helpful she was! The only feedback I would give is the employees on my wedding day were all in jeans, shorts and t-shirts. I would have preferred if they were dressed a little more for the day. But if that is the only complaint after so many things could possibly go wrong.. it's not even a real issue. My reception went a little over my time allotted but Lize never made me feel rushed to leave or have my line start cleaning up my take home items. It was seriously a perfect location and a perfect day and a big part of that is thanks to Lize and all her hard work!

I loved getting married at Louland Falls. I really liked working with Lize during the process and she was very comforting when I was hesitant about anything. On the day of the wedding I was hoping that one of the main event coordinators would have been with us the entire night like I had been expecting, rather than just the ceremony. I had a hard time finding people who worked there during the ceremony when I had a few questions and needed some help. Overall this company was wonderful to work with and I don't regret choosing this location for our big day!

My husband and I contracted with Louland Falls for our ceremony and reception in June of 2013. Let me first say that the venue is absolutely gorgeous. The red rock, waterfalls, and green trees were a stunning setting for our summer wedding. Secondly, the staff at Louland are absolutely wonderful to work with. Lize invited us to the venue multiple times to walk us through the ceremony and reception layouts and helped put our minds at ease. The day before our wedding they let us drop off our box of decorations and our linens and on the morning of the wedding they set everything up for us.

We are taking a not-so-traditional approach to our wedding and Louland was very flexible to work with us. They are not a restaurant, so they really allow you to be flexible on catering, bar/alcohol, and times. We haven't yet see the venue without 3 feet of snow, but grounds are well taken care of and view is great.

Louland falls is a beautiful wedding venue. I'm glad we chose it, the only reason my review is so low is because the following reasons:
The Monday before our wedding we did a walk through, I provided them with a seating chart and layout of how I wanted things. We talked for about an hour while we went through my decor, what we will be bringing, and where/how exactly we wanted it so they could set up for us and we could relax and get ready.
The day of, I got there a half hour late due to my hair took a little longer than expected, so we only had an hour and a half to get ready. When I got there nothing was done. Nothing. They were waiting on me because they didn't know how/where I wanted things. I was very upset at this point mainly because it's my wedding day, but because we went over this for an hour that Monday, they had all my info, my papers everything. I had to go and find my copy of the seating chart for them so they knew where the names went, then I had to re-explain where everything went. After this I just let it go and went and got ready. When I got out there and it was time to walk down the isle I wanted to cry. I had made most of the decorations myself to save money and my bridesmaids helped so it was a big deal when half of them weren't used/put out, and some of them were even lost! I was upset because we went through very detailed information of how I wanted things, for an hour, and it was like that never happened.

Other than that, Lize is very helpful and very kind, maybe just not the most organized. She did work with us on adding an hour to the bar for a cocktail hour which was great, and was definitely helpful to all of our questions since we live out of state. I just wish they were more prepared the day of.

Regardless, the venue was beautiful, and I'm glad I chose it.

We had originally booked with Louland Falls with another operator but she had to turn the operation of the venue to Mark (who runs Cosmopolitan Catering). The handover from her to him was smooth and all existing agreements regarding the contract we had signed were honored.

Mark met with us at the venue a couple of times to go over planning and layout of the wedding and for the most part was responsive to our requests. I did send an email requesting a scan of the layout he had made in one of our meetings and never got a response. The day of the wedding it was a little colder than we were expecting and he and his staff worked with us to accomodate the weather by moving the tables inside and that worked out.

Two reasons for giving a little bit of a lower rating on some items. The main one is that the bridal suite had an odor of raw sewage in it. I'm not sure it's a persistent problem but it was noticeable by everyone in there and not a great way to start off the day. The second is that the two women working the venue asked my wife a few times during the reception about the timing of things. It would have been vastly preferable for them to not bother her and be respectful of the limited time we had with family. They should have stuck to the predefined schedule or at least asked someone else and not her.

All that being said, the venue was a beautiful spot for our wedding and everyone had a great time. I would recommend them for future couples considering a venue if the issues with the bridal suite are addressed.

I think the team still needs to brush up on their stills. Had a wedding there this summer, all the linens were not out on the tables per our discussions and plans. Mark changed the vegetable on us and never said a word. My parents had to keep things going. The room for getting ready was warm and small we kicked the guys out so we had space to get get ready which made us late. Maid of Honor had to turn on AC they didn’t have the area ready. It’s a beautiful place and the guests didn’t know but we were disappointed. No follow up from Mark about our event. Once he had our money we didn’t have much communication.

I need to address this review.

First, we bent over backwards to accommodate this bride, from discounting her chosen menu by almost half, (to fit into her small budget), to early entry and squeezing in her rehearsal at a very inconvenient time.

There was a minor glitch with the linen. She had chosen multiple colors and we hadn't gotten them in the exact pattern she wanted. We quickly fixed the error, hours before the event began.

Sometimes, it does get hot in the bridal room area when there are lots of people there. That's no reflection on our "skills". The issue could have been easily handled with a quick request to any of the staff.

The bride and groom picked a vegetable and then changed it. I will take responsibility for that. It's not that we randomly changed the vegetable.. we served the original choice. We received many compliments, from guests on the food.

What's disappointing is that we did a hundred things perfectly. We had the hors d'oeuvres and dinner right on schedule, the venue was clean, the grounds manicured, the food was delicious and beautifully presented. There was ample food for guests to go back multiple times. The staff was courteous, and helpful.

We handled every aspect of this event professionally, (toast, cake-cutting, tables properly set, etc.), but she wants to bash us over a minor linen hiccup, (that was immediately fixed), and a warm dressing room.

The guests had a wonderful time! It was a beautiful wedding. I'm sorry the bride and groom we're not happy.

I red some of the reviews BEFORE we hired Lize and her people as our wedding venue. The problem people said they had was that regardless meeting with the venue's wedding planer, they still will not put up the deco without the Bride. In order to avoid this situation we met with the venue's "wedding planer" several times (I'll use this term very loosely, refer to her as R.L) . We also emailed pics, instructions for the decorations and called her to make sure she got it. We invested more than $1400 in wedding decorations to be placed at the venue. We rented some and bought others. Now, after months of emailing and meetings, R.L, the "wedding planer", left in TAGGED BOXES $600 in deco untouched, witch NEVER got placed, $300 of witch were wrongly placed (regardless meetings, pics and the file R.L had with the prints of the pictures we sent her). Due this fact, we were not able to properly do our candle ceremony because the glass that we needed to protect the flames was never out of the box (just 1 example). R.L NEVER opened the boxes that they nicely let us storage there for abt 4 days, yes ! 4 days and this so called wedding planner didn't ever bother in opening the boxes to match them with the pics that she had printed for our wedding day, to look and be what we wanted it to be. Thanks to R.L lack of professionalism, we also had the horrific experience of coming back to the venue the day after our wedd to pick up the cake's left overs and all the decorations, only to find out that our $1000 wedding cake was trashed (found in a trash can). We left the venue at 11 pm on Sunday, we were back at 7 am on Monday BEFORE any one else. When the venue is beautiful, not too expensive, after we added up the economical and emotional damaged, we would never allow Lize's wedding planer to work in our wedding day. I was horrified to see her walking around our guest in a very small short, a great outfit for the beach but NEVER for a wedding planer on duty. I was ashamed.

The venue is amazing, the suite is gorgeous, the service on the other hand (deep sigh), was horrible.

Rebecca was our day of coordinator but she acted like the princess of the party just sitting down enjoying the scenery the whole time. Even when I asked her to do things she would half ass it and then go sit (hide) somewhere else.

I was deeply let down and disappointed since I went to great lengths to make it easy on her. I visited the venue Friday and spoke to a louland falls employee and let her know the exact set up. We finalized the map and went over EACH AND EVERY LINEN and I even put stickers on the bottom of my decorations saying were they needed to go ("bar table" "buffet table", etc). I thought doing all this it would be smooth sailing but there was an absolute lack of cooperation, coordination, willingness to help and proactive attitude from Mark's crew. Mark was nice enough to let us in the bridal sweet throughout the night but beyond that it was a complete let down on his end.

I really love this place and always have (I worked in catering for 3 years myself and worked several weddings at this location even before it was "louland falls" - it was "Rose Sachs gardens") but it is not what it used to be as far as the management.

I know no wedding was perfect and we still made the best of it but honestly please do not count on Mark's crew for anything. They told me time and time again (I was very on it with my wedding planning and always double checked and triple checked everything) that they would help set up arrangments and when it was go time and my bridesmaids asked if they could pick 2 or 3 petals off the roses Rebecca replied "I'm not a florist" - this as an answer I completely I understand and I am truly ok with it if that is not something they want to be responsible for helping with, but don't tell me that the day of my wedding when I have no time to find another plan when all long it's been "sure anything you need".
