My dream wedding happened about two weeks ago in Salem, Oregon, so I recently had the pleasure of working with Katelyn from Weddings by Leslye and Katelyn for my Italian garden inspired wedding, and I can confidently say she exceeded all my expectations. From our first consultation to the big day, Katelyn was a constant source of support and creativity.
One of the standout qualities of Katelyn is her accessibility. Whether I had a question, needed advice, or just wanted to bounce around ideas, she was always just a message/phone call away. This level of communication made the planning process not only stress-free but genuinely enjoyable. This was my biggest concern as a first time bride because I was uncertain about what the process would be like.
Katelyn's expertise was present through every detail of our wedding. She helped bring my vision to life with her thoughtful suggestions and keen eye for design. The floral arrangements and decor perfectly captured the romantic, garden-inspired theme I envisioned. One thing I would recommend would be to also ask Katelyn to help plan the bridal shower. I did that and it helped me have peace of mind seeing an event done first before the wedding; this way we weren’t “officially” doing our first event together on the big day.
If you’re looking for a wedding planner who is dedicated, responsive, and extremely talented, I highly recommend Katelyn and her team. They truly made my dream wedding a reality, and I could not be happier with my decision of having Katelyn plan the most important day of my life!! -

We hired Leslye last minute after changes to our wedding plans due to COVID, she was SO helpful and fun to work with from the beginning! Leslye and her team jumped in right away and took all the stress away from us. She was very organized, had great vendor recs/connections, and really brought our vision to life! We loved working with her and the day of our wedding was perfect!! She was always available to chat about details and she really thought of everything.
Our wedding was truly all we could have dreamed of and more! Thank you so much Leslye and Mary, you cannot go wrong with booking them! -

Thank you so much Weddings by Lesley, and especially Katelyn! Katelyn is truly a godsend. Without you nothing would have turned out the way it did. You were amazing, kind, professional, attentive, extremely responsive in answering emails, texts, and calls. You made us feel important and you showed us you truly cared about our wedding. Thanks to you, our wedding was BEYOND beautiful!! You delivered and it turned out even better than we envisioned. A real life fairytale. We appreciate you more than you know.
Thank you to all the vendors as well, you brought in some amazing people to help and we are so grateful for everything you all contributed to our special day! You guys were all absolutely incredible.

In March of 2022, we began planning Julie and Michael’s March 2023 wedding. The venue had been selected and I contacted three wedding planners. The first one said she couldn’t talk to me for a week; the second one couldn’t talk for 10 days, and the third one said to call in the morning. She was Leslye and that is exactly how responsive she and her team were throughout the whole planning process. Leslye gave me countless referrals and advise. Meeting with her and Mary was like reuniting with long lost friends. Their planning, attention to detail and endless enthusiasm made a somewhat stressful time more enjoyable. The day of the wedding was absolutely seamless and stunning. The team of Leslye, Mary, Carolyn and Izzy kept everything flowing and even our guests commented on how wonderful and professional they all were. I highly recommend Weddings by Leslye and Katelyn for your perfect wedding day! They are truly the BEST! -

Phenomenal Wedding Coordination
Leslye was absolutely terrific from day one. So personable and easy to talk to. Leslye was so professional and really helped keep everything in line! She is super responsive and put me at ease when I texted her about something with high anxiety!
Leslye was right by our (mine, my husband, and my parents’) side throughout the entire process and was exceptional in helping us with alternative plans during COVID-19. Leslye and her assistant, Katie were nothing short of phenomenal the day of our wedding. Leslye and Katie helped with all of the details and ensured everything ran smooth. She also assisted me to the bathroom and had a toothbrush handy for when I forgot mine! Her and Katie responded to every request and call/text day of the wedding! You will not be sorry you hired Leslye for your wedding, I promise you that!
As you can see in the pictures below Leslye helped with boutonnières, making sure our littles were looking spiffy, holding my dress train, ensuring all of our details were perfect for us and the guests! -

Being 8 months pregnant and on a hot day added an extra layer to my wedding day! I'm grateful for Katelyn as she stuck by my side and went above and beyond to make sure me and baby and details for the day were taken care of. She is a hard worker and customer service oriented. By far the best investment I made for our day, it would be insanity not to hire her! :) I appreciate her and her team so much! Thank you again Katelyn! -

What can I say, my wife an I had the most magical wedding weekend and so much of it was thanks to Leslye and Katelyn. Rachel and I had a vision in our heads that we attempted to communicate with the Loujune Designs team, and they completely understood us. They were available 24/7, we had progress meetings regularly and we were presented with a wide range of great vendors (we especially loved the band suggested by Leslye - they were incredible!).
The day of the wedding was completely stress-free for both Rachel and I, and we couldn't have asked for a smoother day. We had 200 guests many of whom came from Europe and South America, so the logistics were complex, yet it all seemed like standard work for Katelyn and Leslye who delivered impeccably. We felt super supported throughout the whole process and we're so grateful to the team who made our wedding day happen. We just wish we could relive the day again! Thank you so much. Highly recommend!

Weddings by Leslye + Katelyn is phenomenal. My husband and I worked directly with Katelyn in Portland, OR and invested in the Perfect Planning package. From the moment we had our first introductory call, we knew she was a perfect fit!
Katelyn seamlessly stepped into our planning progress thus far and provided her knowledge and expertise in selecting our final vendors, while also creating a vision for our desired design and aesthetic. She asked us questions we never would have thought of, kept us on track for vendor deadlines, and was so intentional in every interaction we shared. We were confident in Katelyn and trusted her opinions and suggestions, as she had our best interest in mind, leading with kindness and professionalism. She took time to get to know us as a couple, which truly elevated our partnership and planning output.
Our wedding day was more than we ever could have imagined! Katelyn brought our vision to life though top-tier floral, signage, and rental vendors, transforming our venue into a flawless evening shared with our close friends and family. Every detail was perfect – our guests could not stop raving about the ambiance and overall experience of the wedding, and we owe it all to Katelyn!

Leslye came recommended from a family friend, and when I saw her incredible reviews I had to go with her. I was planning a huge Indian wedding and needed help!
Immediately after I hired Leslye, she negotiated my contracts and saved me enough money to pay for her fees. And, she took numerous hours of work off my plate, allowing me to focus on only the fun parts of planning a wedding.
Leslye helped me through not one, but TWO reschedules of my wedding due to COVID. On top of that, she helped me move my entire wedding outside when delta variant threw a wrench in my plans. With each major change, she simply got to work and made it happen.
My wedding was last weekend, and I was so nervous! But, I quickly realized I had nothing to worry about. Leslye brought a whole team of people, including a personal assistant assigned to me for the entire event, and every single detail was taken care of without me lifting a finger. It was the best weekend of my life, and many of our guests said it was the best wedding they had ever attended.
I would (and HAVE) recommended Leslye to my dearest friends for their weddings. Cannot say enough positive things.

When our original destination wedding plans changed a few times, we last minute decided to move to a local venue that could accommodate us. All we can say is THANK GOODNESS for Weddings by Leslye!! We honestly feel we wouldn't have been able to have everything we wanted without Leslye Hansen and her team. Everything was put together in less than 6 weeks, and our celebration turned out more beautiful and perfect than we could have ever hoped for. The pandemic going on couldn't stop us celebrating our love (safetly!) and Leslye and her team made sure everything went off without a hitch. From vendor recommendations, to perfecting the design and feel we were going for, to the day of being stress free, there is no question Weddings by Leslye was the best choice we could have made. We feel so fortunate and grateful we had Leslye's expert level help making our dream wedding celebration come true. There is no one more kind, patient, and professional who will truly take the time to make sure you have everything you dream of for your wedding day.
