I recently had my wedding in 2022, and I couldn’t be happier with the incredible service provided by Lotus Production Complete Wedding & Event Services LLC. Shawn, our wedding planner and designer, made our day truly magical.

I wanted to incorporate my husband's Persian heritage into our wedding, and Shawn did an amazing job with the Persian wedding table (Sofreh Aghd). Despite not being Persian myself, I was blown away by his attention to detail and respect for tradition. The Sofreh Aghd was beautifully set up with all the traditional elements like the mirror of fate (Ayeneh-ye Bakht), candles etc. The flowers were stunning and added an elegant touch to the whole setup. Shawn also included honey, nuts, fruits, and other symbolic items that made the table perfect.

Shawn's knowledge and passion for Persian culture really shone through. He was incredibly kind and friendly, always willing to go the extra mile to make sure everything was perfect. His expertise and creativity turned our wedding into a fairytale.

The overall decoration was breathtaking. Shawn’s ability to blend traditional Persian elements with modern aesthetics created a warm and inviting atmosphere. Every detail, from the flowers to the elegant designs, was flawless.

I highly recommend Lotus Production Complete Wedding & Event Services LLC, and especially Shawn, for any wedding planning needs. His dedication, professionalism, and warm personality made our wedding day unforgettable. I booked this company for my wedding decorations and flowers. Shawn did amazing job and I feel like he went above and beyond his duties with helping me for my wedding. He knew I was planning my wedding alone and he definitely was a BIG help. He is very professional and flexible, will make sure you day is everything you ask for. "ABSOLUTELY EXTRODINARY EXPERIENCE" doesn't even come close to the professionalism that we encountered from day one. Shawn Shamim is an "AMAZING" man! He listened to our ideas for our dream wedding, and helped make our dreams come true and so much more. Dispite COVID-19 and two very disappointing venue changes, Shawn stood by us. On October 2, 2021, we celebrated our wedding ceremony in the beautiful mountains of Deep Creek. Shawn Shamim and Ali traveled to our destination, created our fantasy, remained approachable while being professional, and was embraced by our family as one of the family. The Most Magical Day!

Shamim and the lotus production team went above and beyond for our wedding day! It was the most magical day of our lives. We had known Shamim from when he coordinated and planned my sister-in-law’s wedding, and I loved their work and service ever since. I knew I had to work with him and his team for our wedding day. Thank you to Shamim for working with me through all the details and ensuring that my vision came true. He was awesome to work with, and thank you to the wonderful team especially the photographers and videographer for such a positive and energetic vibe!

Worked magic for us on short notice

It is hard to express in just a few words how glad I am that we found Lotus Production--Shawn and the team are phenomenal! I don't have much experience managing parties and called Lotus on short notice hoping they might be able to provide uplighting for our January 2020 volunteer appreciation banquet. Shawn was generous with his advice and time and demonstrated tremendous enthusiasm for making our event special. We held the event in our fire hall, so it's a place that many of our volunteers associate with being on duty, but Shawn transformed the space into a magic banquet hall and ballroom. He suggested ways to use lighting, curtains, chair covers, and thoughtful hospitality to make a special night, all while minding our budget. Our guests kept commenting all night long about how great everything looked and how much they appreciated what Lotus brought to our event! I highly recommend Shawn and Lotus--they are creative, have tons of expertise, and are going to be great partners in building a special event.

Where do I even begin...this company is AMAZING. They designed the most beautiful wedding that I ever could've asked for. The lotus team had 1 hr. to break down our ceremony room into our reception room and they did such a fantastic job. The white drapery gave the ceremony such a romantic and magical vibe. Shamim and his team are exceptional! They truly went above and beyond my expectations and delivered nothing short of perfect. All I can say is wow! They did a phenominal job at our banquet.
Transforming our bingo hall into a pretty amazing space. Had no idea the room could look that good!
The banquet is the one time of year our members are able to get together for a relaxing evening outside
of the stress that makes up the fire service. Lotus Production really came through to make this

From the first phone call to the last minute (as we were gathering our personal items to leave the venue) of my daughter's wedding on October 22nd 2017,... I received amazing support and a kind sincere care from Shamim.
My experience with the entire team at Lotus Production ( specifically with Shamim) can be recapped with utmost professionalism, excellence in service, creativity in making things happen,....and a "CAN DO" attitude every step of the way.
Calling him was the best thing I did for my daughter's wedding. Hands down :)
Shamim listened to me and achieved results well beyond my expectations. I have had so many phone calls from my friends exclaiming that our celebration was the most beautiful wedding they have ever attended.

I cant thank Lotus Productions enough! They did an incredible job for our wedding. We had hired another wedding planner and 3 weeks before our wedding we had to fire her as she dropped the ball and cost us tons of money over our budget. With 3 weeks left we found Lotus Productions and they took care of EVERY GAP that our previous wedding planner messed up, not only did Lotus designed our entire wedding, set everything up, provided us with the most beautiful flowers, they also calmed myself and my now husband. They exceeded our expectations, and thanks to the level of detail and professionalism our wedding was nominated on a wedding website. They went above and beyond and we couldn't have been any more pleased. THANK YOU LOTUS FOR MAKING OUR DREAMS A REALITY, and for saving the day just weeks before the biggest day of our lives, we will forever be grateful!

My experience with Lotus was AMAZING. If I want to put it in a few words, Shamim made my $$$$ Pinterest-worthy vision happen on my $$ average budget all the while being far more of a friend than a 'vendor'! I had food, photo, video, and lighting and he also delivered so many extras for me. I'll try to get into as much as the word limit allows here: FOOD- Food was just amazing- I received so many complements on it. Just before the wedding, I decided the dessert I had contracted was not enough and I wanted a full dessert table with different items in little shooters; I don't know how in the world but he made that happen for me in such a short notice, AND AT NO EXTRA COST! FLOWERS/DECOR- Shamim made me centerpieces and bouquets that were huge, gorgeous, and far beyond what I had hoped or technically 'paid for' per contract. He also threw in corsages for the moms and all the boutonnieres for the groomsmen! Most importantly, I wanted these specific crystal candelabras for my long tables and he literally bought them OUT OF HIS POCKET (these were not cheap!) to bring my vision to life!!! he also bought new centerpiece bases because I didn't like the ones he had in stock, and through in extra up lighting!! the space really looked out of this world. PHOTO/ VIDEO - I haven't had my video back yet but I got a sample of my pix and ALL my friends have commented about how good they turned out! Shamim also gave me extra an videographer at no additional cost! EXTRAS: I wanted a personalized oversized frame instead of an arbor, and he had this made and delivered for me only at cost of material!! AND he SURPRISED ME! with a gorgeous backdrop FULL of flower designs! AMAZING!! & must have cost $$$$!! Beyond all this, Shamim was BEYOND SUPPORTIVE through the whole process, being there at any hour of day OR NIGHT! for anything, offering FAR more than was his job. He's in it with his WHOLE heart and WON'T SETTLE for less than your dream. I CANT THANK YOU ENOUGH Shamim & the Lotus team!!

Shamim and Lotus Productions were an absolute dream to work with. The wedding would not have been possible without Lotus Productions. They are a team of organized, polite, professional, kind, persons and there were there to do anything and everything necessary to ensure the wedding ran smoothly. Sean and his team were incredible to work with. I had a vision and they made it happen! We used them for a lot and in all aspects their work was perfection! This company is phenomenal! They made all our dreams come true! I want to give a special shout out to Shamim! He was a wonderful wedding planner. This is a great company because they literally do the entire wedding; all the vendors are under one company. So you don't have to run around meeting with different vendors when they organize the entirety of the wedding. They did everything from the catering, centerpieces, videography, uplighting, photography, DJ, Flowers, bouquets, to the boutonnieres! Shamim is very passionate about what he does and continued to go above and beyond for me! Following my wedding, guests made comments to me such as, "what an epic wedding!" "best wedding I've ever been to!" "wow those centerpieces are magnificent" I would never go with any other vendor. He is the best wedding planner I know!

Lotus Production executed our daughter’s wedding on May 6, 2017. First thing I want to say is that Shamim (Shawn) is not working for money; he works for your satisfaction. Event and wedding planning is his passion. He is a talented and stylish person who works with you to make your event exactly as you wish. He is extremely a honest, loyal, and respectful who goes extra miles from bottom of his heart to make you happy.
We had the best experience with him. The decoration was fantastic, arrangements were fabulous, DJ was wonderful, and planning was perfect. However, the highlight of his work was the food. Every single Iranian/American guest was so amazed by the food. We got so many compliments about the food and event. His staff was awesome, especially Negin and Ari. They were very patient and took care of all our needs in no time.
Despite the rain and a few last minute changes that we did to our plan, Shamim made everything beautiful for us. The most important point was his positive and professional attitude toward every request and the passion he put in our event as though we felt he was part of our family throughout the wedding.
We highly recommend Lotus Production for your events and would say you definitely get more than what you pay.

I had to update my review after my wedding this friday. Shamim and his team are beyond words. He has become more like a friend to us and a brother than a wedding service company. He kept in touch constantly to make sure everything was perfect and the way i wanted. He puts his heart into the job he does and truly wants to make sure it is perfect. With some companies, money talks; but with lotus and shamim, it really isn't just about how much they can charge but truly about making their clients happy.
The decor was breathtakingly beautiful and it was far more beautiful than I could have imagined. I am OBSESSED with my bouquet - still sitting in my living room lol He went above and beyond and gave me more than what i asked. If i could do it again i would pick them over and over. We couldn’t have found a better team than Lotus Production, they really turned our dream wedding into a reality! Everything was stunning and beautiful, and it was more than we ever imagined! The entire team was phenomenal, from the photographers to the production staff, and last but not least, our dear friend, Shamim.

Shamim was always there for us, from checking out different venues, to finding the perfect flowers, lighting, and centerpieces, and even just being there with emotional support. In the middle of the planning process, my husband’s medical condition got worse, which almost postponed the wedding. Shamim was so accommodating, and ensured that we would have everything taken care of, no matter what the circumstances would be. Not only did he provide the highest level of professionalism, he truly went above and beyond for us. He is a genuinely kind and caring individual, and he was so much more than just a wedding planner.

Our wedding day finally came, and everything was beyond perfect. We laughed and cried, and everyone said it was one of the best weddings that they’ve ever experienced. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts, we love you Lotus Production!!!

AMAZING SERVICE! My husband and I hired Lotus Productions for our wedding in July and had the most wonderful experience! Shamim took care of almost everything for us and made our special day unforgettable! From the beautiful flowers and centerpieces, table setups and tableware, the lovely ambiance that was created with all the up lighting and candles, to the delicious foods and great staff, including photo- and videographers, our wedding was simply perfect and all of our friends and family felt the same!
My husband is pretty easygoing but I am definitely the picky type, nonetheless, during the planning phase, Shamim did not fail to always accommodate all my needs and mostly WANTS to the tiniest little details! For example, the orchids that I wanted don’t naturally come in the color that I wanted them in, so Shamim actually painted 60+ stems of orchids to make them match our colors, something I didn’t even know was possible! Shamim never told us something was impossible (especially when trying to stay on a budget), he always tried to make everything work for us somehow! He was always available to us and truly made us feel like we were his only clients, even though he had many, many more!
I would definitely recommend Lotus Productions to family and friends!

My husband and I recently used Shawn and his team for our wedding on August 20th. We utilized his services for full catering, photography, videography, uplighting, all florals, and piping and draping. There is no way to put into words how amazing him and his staff are!! From the day you speak to him, he is very receptive to any and all ideas and will do whatever it takes to make your dream come true. Throughout the entire planning process he helps with all of the details, questions, and is so easily accessible at all times. His floral arrangements are superb and his videography and photography team are out of this WORLD. Trust and know that if you choose Lotus Productions for your wedding services, you are getting FAR more value of product than what you've paid for. Many of our guests were blown away at the overall WOW factor his weddings exude. There is no other place in the DC/MD/VA area where you'll have someone who truly loves what he does AND isn't looking to break your bank for your celebrity-esque wedding. What I love the most is that through every step of the way, he took the time to contact me to verify and re-verify selections for florals and decor. Him and the lotus team are very detail oriented and will make your wedding day the most cherished day of your life!

Shawn was absolutely amazing he pays so much attention to details and brain storm you with good ideas and suggestions he also listens to what you have in mind carefully and wants to create your day exactly how you want it. He is an experianced wedding planner, coordinator and florist therefor he will take care of everything. All you need to do is to relax and enjoy your big day. Although our wedding was a destination wedding( Seattle) and he was coming from DC. He really did great on planning everything from miles away, making the reservations, taking care of the meetings and reviewing the contracts to get you the best deal as well as the perfect service. My husband and I can't thank Shawn enough for helping to make our wedding day perfect! We had a pretty long engagement and we were in contact with Shawn from the very beginning. He helped to keep us organized with every detail. We thoroughly enjoyed the planning process because of him.

When our wedding day finally came, everyone around me kept commenting on how calm I was. That's because I had full trust in Shawn to execute all of the details. Shawn and his team at Lotus productions were phenomenal. We consulted with them over a period of months before our wedding as our vision and needs changed. Shawn was responsive, patient and always willing to suggest new ideas or solutions. On the day of the wedding, Shawn and his assistant arrived 30 mins late to the venue to set up the wedding mandap. Shawn was very apologetic and showed us pictures of his truck with a flat tire they received en route to the event. Although we had built the time into the schedule for such unpredictables, Shawn was intent on going above and beyond to make up for something that was essentially out of his control. They added additional drapery and uplighting to the mandap free of charge and checked in with our wedding coordinator and bride's parents to ensure the mandap looked exactly as they wanted. Absolutely phenomenal company!

If you're reading this and wondering WHY I gave 5 Stars to Lotus Production, let me share with you my reasons. I am the type of person that just goes with the flow and let things just happen. OBVIOUSLY with my Wedding, that didn't happen so much because my Wife wanted me to get more involved!! I met with Shawn the owner of the Lotus production after my wife visited him for a consultation. My wife wanted to get my opinion and see what do I think about him and Lotus production in general. After asking him so many questions about the different aspects of our wedding, I realized that he is very honest and knows his stuff very well. It wasn't so easy for me to let ONE company to be in-charge of my whole wedding at first but I am so grateful for taking that chance. Lotus Production did a PHENOMENAL JOB helping my wife and I feel relaxed all throughout the Wedding process and took care of everything from A to Z . We hired Lotus Production for Catering, photography, videography, floral, uplighting, DJ and drapery and since we hired them for more than 5 services, Shawn provided us with a COMPLIMENTARY wedding planner(Ms.Mariam) for our wedding day. I literally couldn't stop seeing her name and my wife's name throughout the emails being sent back and forth. I am very grateful for the comfort I felt throughout the Wedding Planning process and on the day of the Wedding. No joke, I decided to go to my Wedding Venue on the day of my Wedding and when I took a peek at what Lotus Production staff did to the venue, I was SHOCKED!!! I was like "WHAT THE HECK?" is this Wedding truly for me and my Wife?! the venue looked AMAZING as if it was for a celebrity!!! We went to Lotus Productions and talked with Shawn after going to a number of other vendors for flower and draping services. All the quotes we received were high and no one was willing to work with us. Shawn and his group were amazing. He worked with us to get to an acceptable price range by talking with my daughter and convincing her to drape the ceremony walls but not to drape the ceiling and instead have a canopy built for the ceremony. He even came to our house to speak with my daughter and her fiancé. Then, he designed lovely bouquets for the entire bridal party, threw in boutonnières for the guys for free, and the most amazing elegant floral arrangements for the reception. Shawn and his team were amazing and if I had known about them earlier in the wedding planning process, I would have used their services for everything. I highly recommend them for your wedding.

Lotus Productions is an excellent vendor to use for your wedding day. We used them for photography, flowers, and décor but the company went far and above what we signed them up for.

First off, Shawn and his team are very responsive and highly professional. When you are going to spend this much money on your special day, you have to make sure your vendors are going to come through and you can't be worrying about their responsibilities. With Lotus Productions, you get that and more. It started with our engagement photos. We met Shawn and Jinna in Old Town Alexandria and we felt like celebrities. They were very easy-going but very professional and detail-oriented at the same time. You wouldn't move on to the next pose or location until they were happy they got the perfect shots. You never felt like you were on a timetable, it was basically, we don't stop until we get the right shots.

On the wedding day, Lotus was on point in getting everything set up and their staff were prompt, courteous, highly professional, and they kept things moving along...which was not supposed to be part of their responsibility. They interacted with the hotel staff so that we did not have to do a thing. The flowers and centerpieces were absolutely beautiful, the lighting was perfect, and most important of all, the photos were stunning. With Lotus Productions, you are getting really high quality at such a reasonable price, something very hard to find with today's wedding costs.

We would not hesitate to recommend Lotus Productions.

Do Not Search Any Longer! Lotus is THE TEAM you want for your wedding! They did the videography, flowers at the church and reception, other decor, uplighting, draping, chivari chairs, tabel linens, fog machine, monogram and fruit table! They did everything at 100%! From day one Shawn and his team were so easy to work with, we had an instant connection and he made wedding planning SO MUCH easier than i could imagine. He was patient and understanding when things got hectic on my end and always accommodated accordingly. He wanted to make sure i was happy and the wedding was going to be exactly how i wanted. He went out of his way to ensure our 300+ wedding was THE BEST ARMENIAN WEDDING in town, and let me tell you.... HE DID IT! The whole community was STUNNED at how beautiful everything turned out. Shawn was always available to speak to and to meet, and the day of the wedding he was making sure his whole team was on schedule and everything was going as planned. The fruit displays that he did were perfect and delicious! Our Centerpieces were stunning!! Just as i had wanted! The whole reception hall 30+ tables with decor and draping and uplighting was a Bride's dream come true! I did not have one complaint the whole night, i had the BEST time at my wedding and it was truly one of the happiest days of my life! I know that wouldn't have been possible if it wasn't for Shawn and his team!
Shawn made sure every detail we wanted we got! Even went out of his way to get us a sword to cut our cake with! (Armenian tradition)
We just recently got our highlight video and WOW WOW WOW, so beautiful so high class , celebrity like! Shawn even organized for us to shoot a music video and we did that throughout the day of the wedding and the video came out AMAZING! these memories are going to last forever! I have traveled all over the world with my government career. Not once have I experienced such professionalism and attention to detail, as Lotus Production Complete
Wedding & Event Services. At the last minute, we needed a miracle. I contacted Shawn, with Lotus Production, and requested lightning and decorations support. Within 48 hours, he not only travelled to my location, almost 30 miles away, he arranged all wireless lighting, and ensured they were fully functional for the event. In addition, he decorated the event tables with the most elaborate (live-cut) gorgeous white flowers, in a column vase, and some were accented with candles. Later in the week, Shawn reached out to me and was genuinely concerned about the outcome of the event. The event was very successful and the guests could not stop talking about my lighting and decor. Right when you feel like you have to pay triple the price for good old customer service, Lotus Productions blew me away. I was told 3 days before a corporate event of 300 people that I had to drape and light an industrial space. Shawn made it all happen and not only for a reasonable price, but he went above & beyond. The venue was completely transformed into a fairy tale and the company event is still being raved about weeks later. Everything we asked for and more!! I was in a real bind – I had to find a photographer for my brother’s wedding in a short period of time. Highly recommended!! We found Lotus Production online after searching for days looking for the perfect lighting company who could do up-lighting, and setup fabulous flower centerpieces. We rented wireless up-lights for our girls weekend event and they were PERFECT!! No extension cords needed - how awesome is that? When me and my fiance had to switch wedding venues due to our original location not being done in time, we found the Big Cork Vineyards as a great replacement. Unfortunately, we had to rent a few additional items we were not planning on. This included lighting for the outdoor space we wanted to use for dancing and dinner. It took me a long time to find a vendor that could do the fun outdoor string lighting that I was looking for. Once I received a quote from Lotus Productions, I was so excited that they can fulfill my vision! It was absolutely perfect and added so much to the space. They were very flexible and accommodating with a rain plan as well!

I have to say I'm sorry for not writing this sooner but Lotus Production was an absolute pleasure working with! They were the best vendor out of the many that I had. Very accommodating and made my dreams come true with the level of expertise they have in decorating. We used them for pipe an drapery at our ceremony and stage design, ceiling drapery and uplighting at our reception . Our ceremony and reception was at the Gaylord national harbor . Lotus production showed up on time and started to transform the rooms instantly. All I can tell you is that They won't let you down.
I really have to say thank you and you all definitely will be the first people I call whenever I have another event. Jinna and Shawn personally handled every inquiry and although they probably have many events I truly felt like they cared about every little detail and I have to say I can definitely be hard to please! Lotus Production worked on my wedding and I highly recommend them to every couple. Throughout the entire process of working with them, I felt like they were completely on my side. It was clear that their main concern was making sure I was satisfied with everything. Shawn was so nice, helpful and available to me whenever I had thoughts, questions or concerns. Their flowers and vases were absolutely beautiful, and they were able to do last minute changes to my centerpieces. They were even able to arrange silk flowers I had purchased and displayed them beautifully for my ceremony. The pipe and drape work was excellent. They constructed a pipe and drape fixture for us to stand underneath for our ceremony, as well as a backdrop for our sweetheart table. I even had them provide silver chivari chairs to better match my wedding colors, as my venue only had standard gold. Had I known in the beginning how wonderful their work is, I would have hired them for additional wedding services (i.e. day of coordinator). Lotus Production was wonderful to work with. Although May must be one of their busiest months for weddings, Lotus worked with us on an Arabian Nights themed high school prom in Virginia. Lotus created a Moroccan-inspired tent over the large dance floor and additional pipe and drape throughout the ballroom. The team showed up on time (early actually!) to set up and arrived promptly at the end of the night to clean up. All e-mail communication was prompt and courteous. What we received for the money paid was an exceptional value. We received numerous compliments from our student guests on how much they enjoyed the decorations. I look forward to working with Lotus again in the future. Highly recommend!

We heard about Lotus Productions from a friend who referred us. We met with Shamim for a consultation and left feeling as if all our problems were addressed. We went in not knowing exactly what we wanted. He took the time to sit down with us for a couple of hours and walked us through countless details. He showed us examples of past weddings and gave us suggestions based on our preferences. After we committed to having Lotus Productions provide the centerpieces, stage, camera and video for both our henna and wedding, there were several meetings and phone calls to help finalize the details. We even had an engagement photo shoot included and Shamim took the trouble of organizing a day we could meet him at the cherry blossoms in DC. He took his time and took countless photos for us and showed us examples along the way to give us ideas of poses we could do. It was the best photo shoot we had ever had. We got to choose our top ones that they then made into a mini collage and set them up on the seat of every guests so they could take it home as a favor. What we appreciated the team doing the week of the wedding, is calling all of our vendors and verifying their times of arrival to ensure we would have no last minute surprises the day of the wedding. Our henna party was the day before the wedding. Shamim’s team did a great job on the videography and photography. On the day of the wedding they were on time at each of our houses filming us getting ready and all the vendors Jinna had called earlier in the week were on time just as she had confirmed. The hall was decorated to perfection and all we had to worry about was showing up and enjoying our big day. Shamim made sure he had just the right amount of photographers and videographers to adequately cover our large wedding of 450+ guests. All the details we had finalized with Shamim weeks before the wedding fell into place like clockwork. We couldn’t have asked for a better team to make our special day complete.

From the first phone call to the last moments of the wedding day Lotus Production was an amazing company to work with. Shamim and Jinna are an incredible team and work together to make sure that every last detail and concern is addressed in a timely and efficient manner. Shamim was so flexible and worked with our schedule and honored our many requests to meet in person, visit our venue, help us pick rentals, etc. What I love most about this company is that they are incredibly HONEST and transparent about the entire wedding process. Shamim understood our budget and was willing to work with us to make sure we had the wedding of our dreams.

Before the wedding friends were warning us that the day would be chaotic and feel like a blur. Shamim and Jinna made sure that our wedding did not feel like this! They were so calm, kept us on schedule and relaxed, and their professionalism in working with our other vendors was amazing. Our wedding day was perfect and it's mainly in thanks to Lotus Productions. One month after our wedding our guests are still complementing the food (for many it was their first time trying Persian food)!

We had a vintage travel theme and provided many of the props on our own however, it was Lotus' eye for beauty and aesthetic and knowing how to use all our decorations that truly made our vision come together.

Shamim, Jinna, and the rest of the Lotus team are incredibly talented at their craft in wedding planning and production, but they are also simply great human beings. The type of people you want around you and your guests on such and important day!

Lotus production is the best wedding event and planning in DC areas. When i was planning my wedding, i first decided to do it all myself, then i was exhausted and was looking for someone who can do it all. I found Lotus Production online, read all the reviews and I contacted Shawn who later introduced me to Jinna as my wedding planner. They both were awesome, and really did not have anything to do since they provide everything a bride can wish for. Jinna took care of all the details and i was stress free. We hired the Lotus Production for our engagement party for photography and Video. I was very pleased with Shamim’s care and professionalism . The engagement pictures turned out beautiful ,so did the video. In addition , he took lots of family photos which are all very memorable. I'm not sure where to begin on explaining the outstanding service Shamim and his staff at Lotus Productions provided my husband and I on our special day! Our wedding was in June 2013 and I don’t think Shamim could have made it any more perfect if he tried. :) He held my hand every step of the way from picking color schemes, center pieces, flowers, decorations, engagement photos, videography, etc. More importantly, because we lived near the city and wanted a beach wedding, he helped us to find the PERFECT venue in DE at Salero on the Beach!

When I was having a bridal-breakdown moment, he always talked me through my anxiety and nerves. We hired Lotus to set up piping and draping for our wedding ceremony and were certainly a small customer for them. You wouldn't know it with the excellent customer service they provided. Don’t look further, Lotus Production will surely impress you at making your wishes come true!! I hired Lotus Production for most of the services needed for my wedding, which took place at the Gaylord National Harbor. Since day one, Shamim was very well informed, perceptive & knowledgeable of every detail associated with my Big Day! He truly takes pride in everything that he does. I can’t find enough words to express the AMAZING job they produced at my wedding. The ceremony was absolutely GORGEOUS!! Every small detail was just PERFECT! Yet, the biggest surprise was the reception.. It was just beyond ASTONISHING!! I was truly DAZZLED the minute I walked into that ballroom. He truly transformed the place & made us feel like we’re somewhere out of this world!! The room I choose was a true challenge, Shamim & his staff spent over 16 straight hours working on creating a Wonder Land!! The drapery was just so ELEGANT & BEAUTIFUL, the lights & the centerpieces were just.. STUNNING!! The Linens, the chairs, the organization.. Everything was just IMPRESSIVE!! Lotus Production was present everywhere capturing every moment of my BIG DAY step by step, from the smallest detail to the BIG MOMENTS!! Charbel and I had the VIP treatment of celebrities.. Until today, my guests are still talking about the wedding & how being there made them feel like they were in Hollywood!! The photographers and videographers were everywhere trying to capture every moment for us to remember for a lifetime!! The team went above & beyond to making my vision a reality.. The outcome was even better than what we had wished for. Thank you LOTUS PRODUCTION & your staff for an OUTSTANDING MAGICAL DAY! Shawn was great to work with!!! He was very professional and extremely prompt on communicating with me and delivered an amazing product. He worked with me on price and made the space look amazing. He was so helpful and really tried and delivered on making our barn look awesome. We had so many compliments from guests. Lotus was the best decision I ever made during my wedding process. I turned to shawn for support during this crazy experience of getting married he help me out with everything, I had no clue how to start and what I needed and what I was missing he help me thru it all kept me calm. He really takes the time to listen to what each couple wants out of their wedding experience and helps to make that vision come true. and keeps you on track with list of wedding tasks you and your fiancé need to stay on top of. from our very first consultation; not only did he instantly put us at ease with his friendly, easygoing demeanor, he always listened to our ideas, requests and concerns without making us feel like we were asking for the moon, and he always assured us that we'd get it exactly right on the big day. Although I got to my wedding two hours later from the bad rain and traffic and a few other things he kept me calm and made it perfect. I was so after with the end results.

Shamim and his staff were absolutely phenomenal to work with when planning my engagement party. He is very detail oriented, responsive, and puts in the time to get to know his clients and their needs very well so that he is able to execute the event day to perfection. He goes above and beyond to ensure that his clients are happy and I could not recommend him enough. My only regret is that I did not utilize enough of his services--a mistake I will not repeat on my wedding day!

Lotus Production was amazing. I had my wedding pictures done by them as well as my Iranian "sofreh" (which is a wedding setup) and everything was perfect. It was better than I could have imagined. On top of their excellent work, they are genuinely great people and this is extremely important on your big day! I recommend their services for everyone! The pictures turned out incredible and many people have told me that they have never seen such great pictures.. as well as such a beautiful album book. Go with them!!!! Trust me!!

Shaun is a great man! He worked with our budget, and was also very flexible. Shaun went above and beyond to fulfill his promise of giving my daughter the Cinderella wedding she's always dreamed of. The lavish decor blew the guests away. Working with him was a true pleasure, he not only treats you as a customer but as one of his family members. Lotus Production did a fabulous job on my wedding on 8/10/13. From the beginning to the end Shaun from Lotus Productions took special care of us through the whole process. I'm very grateful to have found this Lotus Production for my wedding, to date my wedding is still the topic of discussion among my friends and family. In fact several of my engaged friends plan to use Lotus Productions for their upcoming wedding.

Shaun truly made my wedding spectacular and memorable day that I will always remember. After I got engaged, I debated whether or not I needed a wedding planner. Like most brides, I wanted the wedding planning process and my wedding day to be stress free. However, I also wanted my wedding day to be my day and full of my ideas and style. I knew that without a planner, it would be me and Google looking for vendors and ideas. Luckily, a friend recommended Lotus production and from the day I met Shawn, I knew working with him would be exactly what I needed to create the wedding of my dreams.

Shawn is smart, organized, creative and wonderful to work with. He was always on top of everything, whether it was keeping me on track and on-time with my timelines or responding to my thousands and thousands of emails and questions.
When I woke up that morning, I knew that I had nothing to worry about other than getting ready. Lotus production had everything under control and everything went so smoothly. I had no worries and no stress. All I had to do was enjoy my day. As the day unfolded and I got to see 14 months of work and ideas come to life, it was everything I dreamed of and more. Best decision i have made as far as my wedding was concerned!!! I would highly recommend lotus productions to every bride! Shamim was so organized, professional, and detailed oriented. I did not have to worry about anything he supplied the catering which was delicious, i received so many compliments from my guests. The lighting and flowers were beautiful and chic! He made the venue which was pretty bare look so sophisticated and warm. He took care of anything that i asked for by researching different places to get the most reasonable price. He did everything from my linens, decor, coordinating with my other vendors, timeline, table arrangements, and catering. He is so reliable every time i called he would respond immediately. he really made the whole planning experience so enjoyable and i have heard so many horror stories, but I did bit experience any of that stress and i credit all that to shamim and his lotus production staff. He truly enjoys what he does and i think that is the reason he is so good at his craft. He will go above and beyond to give you the wedding of your dreams and the most reasonable price. I loved working with Lotus Production. I got to meet with Shawn in person at his studio and he showed me so many options and just really knew what he was talking about. Once we decided to go with his company, he made a special trip out to my venue to measure the place, look at his options, and brought all the purple and blue swatches for table clothes so I could pick exactly what color and material I wanted. They provided all the decor rental for this wedding (chairs and tablecloths, etc) and we hired them to drape an entire wall in the reception area. I was most impressed with the draping it look absolutely stunning, way better than I had anticipated. Shawn was so responsive to emails and never once did I have any doubts about him or his company. I would highly recommend them.

From the moment Mehrdad and I met the Lotus Production team led by Mr. Shamim, we were impressed with their professionalism and kindness. Prior to the day of the wedding, the Lotus team met with us and discussed every aspect of their service and our work together. Mehrdad and I chose a photo-shoot as well as other products/services before our wedding day. We were extremely satisfied with the quality of the work. On the actual wedding day, the team met our every request and product was an amazing set of pictures that we can cherish for a life-time. Shamim of Lotus Productions was extremely instrumental in creating my daughter's dream wedding! Everything she wanted - Shamim could do. Pipe-and-draping the entire ballroom; beautiful uplighting; incredible high-profile flower arrangements; beautiful chivari chairs; exquisite table linens; great DJ with percussion and much more! He stayed the entire night to make sure everything went as we has planned. I felt as though he was my personal event planner and had known me for years. His suggestions and recommendations were spot on! He got to know us and just knew what we would like, what we would want ... he thought of everything and left nothing out. It was easy for me to put my trust in Shamim and Lotus Productions but the best part was my daughter - THE BRIDE - said on more than one occassion "Shamim - just do what you think is best; I trust you and your judgment.!" How many brides would say that? How many brides would feel that comfortable with a production company to let them just run with it! You can't go wrong with Shamin and Lotus Productions. I have no doubt that any event I have in the future that requires a production company's touch I will most defiitely contact Lotus Productions!

As parents of the bride, we thought we could plan the wedding, but as we started, we quickly realized that we could not do it. Shamim was recommended to us, and we are so thankful we found him. We immediately liked his calmness , professionalism and the knowledge he had about weddings. Our daughter had a certain vision for her wedding. Shamim knew the details to think about when asking our daughter about her vision. Shamim was able to help our daughter have the wedding of her DREAMS. During the ceremony and reception, we were able to relax and enjoy every moment, because we knew Shamim had everything under control. The Flower arrangements were absolutely gorgeous and the uplighting was so dramatic and nice. After the reception, he had everything organized to put in cars. How wonderful to be a guest at your own reception. With weddings being so expensive, you need a wedding expert to help you with all of the details. I don’t know where to begin about how much I love Shamim and Lotus Production! He has been my calmness in the middle of this whirl wind of wedding planning. I knew I would hire him instantly when I first got engaged and was interviewing wedding planners. He was very informative, kind, respectful, and thorough. There was no pressure to use his services; he just wanted to make sure I was informed. I appreciated that after the bombardment I felt from the other planners.

From that point on, it was the 3 musketeers: Shamim, my fiancé, and I! Though I had searched online for a venue that was on the beach and located mid-way between a few states for both families, I could not find anything that made my heart skip a beat. Shamim managed to find us our dream venue in the perfect location! ADDITIONALLY, even though it is 3 hours away from where he usually works, he went with us to speak with the vendor and negotiate our contract. He has saved me more money than I could have imagined in things that I would have never thought of across the board. He went cake tasting with us. He and his associate took the mooooost beautiful pictures ever for us for our engagement photos. <3

He has been my counselor during my nice, but stressed, “bridezilla” panic attacks! :p With less than 25 days left to our wedding (June 22, 2013), he has given me a day-of rundown of everything to expect. He has taken over contact for all of my vendors, including the venue, florist, bakery, d.j., etc. He sold me on using his awesome videography services at my wedding without even pitching them to me...he just wanted to show me decoration or fashion examples from weddings he coordinated to help me visualize my ideas! I don’t know what else to say…either you want a company that will possibly treat you good as a customer or you want to use the services of Shamim and Lotus Production that who is sure to make you feel like a royal, family member!

I had a wedding for 150 guests. I did not realize how stressful planning a wedding could be but Shamim made everything a breeze! He was so wonderful to work with and felt like I was working with my best friend through this whole planning process. I had no idea where I wanted to go with colors, flower arrangements and styles, sweet heart table vs. bridal table. I was everywhere with ideas. From the meeting I had with Shamim and seeing his photos from past events I knew from the start my wedding was in great hands. I picked out a few things like the color of the chairs and the table cloth color and uplighting color but the rest I left it up to him. From the ceremony room decorated to the reception ballroom decorated I was BLOWN AWAY! I couldnt have dreamed of what he was able to create for my husband and me :) We had draping and uplighting and a lighted design with our names (not to mention we had a whole page of them to choose from) and a beautiful sweetheart table in a hut on our own stage with beautiful draping and a rose petal table cloth and a beautiful hanging fower arrangement. The centerpeices we mixed high and low arrangements and had square and round tables. He also had crystals hanging from the arrangements. It was beyond my dreams. And the same for the ceremony decoration, so amazing!. We had 3 columns lining the isle on each side with high flower arrangements and in the columns also had hanging crystals inside them. We had beautiful mirrored pillars at the end of the isle where we got married and we were in an atrium setting and they were just gorgeous as well. When I saw the finished product it was like I was on one of those wedding TV shows with a big reveal. It was just that breath taking! DJ Ani was great too with the percussionist (both also provided through lotus productions) She was so attentive to the detail we wanted in our music and specializes in international music and we had a Mexican American wedding and she mixed the music great!

First off, I must say that Shamim without a doubt is the NO.1 wedding/event coordinator in every aspect you could imagine. I certainly recommend Lotus Productions for your wedding/event services for their outstanding performance.
Lotus Production was the first wedding advertisement that I saw in the Persian newspaper and was also the first and the only call that I made in regards to my wedding. I was absolutely clueless, worried, and nervous at first about how I wanted my wedding to be until I met with Shamim and everything started to make sense and went smooth after that. He was extremely helpful, so down to earth, honest, very easy to work with and yet very professional & knowledgeable at his job.
Lotus Production provided us with catering, photography, videography, music & decorations. We received a lot of compliments from our guests after our wedding. Even though two years has passed since that day, we still get compliments about how perfect and organize everything went and how much fun everyone had that night.
And finally,,,….
I ended up with tears; tears of joy for all Shamim accomplished for us and also tears of sadness because the wedding was over too soon and so was the fun of coordinating it. Shamim is one of a kind and if we were to do it all over again, we’d hire him & Lotus Production in a heartbeat.
We wouldn’t know what we would have done without Shamim. We absolutely love him!!

Shawn is the vendor that makes you feel like you’re his family. He is absolutely wonderful and hiring Lotus Production for our wedding flowers was one of our best decisions. I am sure all the bride/grooms reading this website relate to the stress involved in picking the perfect vendors, after all you want to make this day perfect. The lesson I learned is that you not only need a professional who does a good job, but also someone who cares, and that's what gives you the element you most need during your special day – peace of mind. Shawn truly cares. He cared enough to make sure we have a great wedding beyond just delivering the most beautiful flower arrangements (and all our guests confirmed) without any flaws or any delays or any additional stress. He also helped with other stuff while he was there!!!

When I was reading reviews on this site, I was sorting by the number and the stars – don’t make that mistake, just focus on what people write. Go with Shawn – no doubts. Thank you Shawn - for everything.

Lotus Production did an amazing job with the decor for both our ceremony and reception. From my first meeting with Shawn, he understood the vision I had and the look I wanted to create. We had an Indian wedding and was looking for an elegant and romantic mandap (altar), and described to Shawn the look I was going for and showed him many pictures that had different elements that I liked. He quickly understood the look I wanted, and recommended which of the thousand things that I liked would work together and which wouldn't. His sense of style was great, he kept me in budget, and made great recommendations about where I should and shouldn’t spend my money. I had so many ideas, and it was great having someone there who could honestly tell me what would work and what wouldn’t. At the end, I loved the mandap. It was beautiful, exactly what I was going for, and we received many compliments.

My reception was in a different location than the ceremony and They again pulled it off and did an amazing job there also . Many people told me that they were the nicest centerpieces they had seen. We did a mix of 4 styles of centerpieces, and again Shawn and his other decorator Julia were so helpful in helping to design them and most importantly understanding what would look best in the space. I met with other decorators who threw out ideas, but didn’t really think about the room and what would work within the room, but Julia definitely made recommendations for what would work best within the space.
We also used Sam for our photography from Lotus Production. He was very talented and funny. As he captured the whole wedding ,he was very patient and easy to work with. We loved our photos as they were very artistic and precious.
Overall I would highly recommend Lotus production. A few of my friends also used them and were very happy with them. My wedding reception looked gorgeous and I'm so happy that I made a right decision by hiring them.

I worked with Shawn from Lotus Production, and he turned our wedding in a fairytale. I told him an idea of what I wanted and he brought the whole thing to life. Everyone at our wedding was surprise with the decorations that Shawn did for us. We had ceiling drapery, all walls covered with backdrop, centerpieces, chiavari chairs and up lighting. What a unique and special it made! It changed the entire banquet hall view! I only met with him one time at the venue about two months before the wedding. The rest of our communication was pretty much via email or phone and I was very impressed by the promptness in every response I received. He went by himself and took all the measurement of the room. On the day of our wedding the banquet hall allowed him to get in after 1pm. I was very nervous if Shawn and his crew from Lotus production would have enough time to get everything done, but I was truly impressed by how quick and professional they were. After getting done with our pictures, my husband and I wanted to see the ballroom to make sure everything was fine before our guests get in. As soon as we opened the doors, I had tears of joy in my eyes and could not imagin how everything was in perfect shape. Lotus production's crew specially Shawn made our day and I always would be greatfull for trusting them on my special day.

I highly recommend Lotus Production to anyone who is looking for a decorator. They listened to my ideas and created a gorgeous wedding decor within my modest budget.

We found Lotus Production by searching the internet, they responded very professionally and quickly to our enquiry.

Dealing with Lotus production was a good experience. They gave us a very personal service and nothing was to much trouble for them.

Lotus Production is truly a one stop shop. They did my flowers, catering, video and photography, dj, and my cake. Shamim is great, him and his team are patience and very helpful. Lotus Production helped us to plan our wedding in less than six months. I thought is impossible to make it happened but Shamim told me is your day and we will make it happen. My husband and I hired Lotus Production for our videography and photography needs for our wedding. The staff was very punctual and easy to work with. Shamim, the owner, even came out to the site the day before to ensure he was bringing the lighting and equipment necessary for the venue and any additional information he needed. On our wedding day, they showed up early and even brought a surprise white backdrop to capture our beautiful family and guest photos. You wouldn’t believe how hard the staff worked on capturing so many wonderful memories, it was mid-summer and extremely hot outside, and they remained so professional and took care of us. Our photos turned out so beautiful and we look forward to seeing our completed video montage. I would definitely recommend their services to any engaged couple.

We hired Lotus Production to do our engagement and wedding photos/videos. Sean worked with us to give us a great deal for the whole package! He was very understanding!
We had a bit of a "non-traditional" wedding that included an outdoor ceremony, back yard BBQ, and the next day a formal indoor Persian reception. His team was able to capture every moment across two states! We had many ideas for photos we wanted and they were very accommodating! But Sean had really done his homework and found some AMAZING shots that really captured the essence of our wedding themes/our dynamic as a couple! Those are some of our absolute favorite photos from the whole event!
The videos are amazing! Sean and his team were able to capture the electricity on the dance floor! Every time we watch the video we just want to get up and dance!

We cannot recommend Lotus Productions enough!!! They are truly amazing and will take care of your entire event, no matter what! Sean is an extremely talented photographer and videographer and he couldn't have made us happier!

I hired Lotus Production about 11 months before my wedding for full planning. I had never been the kind of person who dreamed (and studied) about her wedding, so I really had no idea what I was doing! Lotus Production created a clear path for me. They worked with our budget and style. When I had etiquette questions, Mr Shamim The owner always was available and had answers. He thought of every last detail even beyond the ceremony and reception so that we could actually entertain our families from out of town and enjoy ourselves on our wedding day. And we did enjoy ourselves!! I just showed up at the venue with my dress and the rest was taken care of. Mr Shamim even had asigned me to Julia (another Wedding planner )that we could contact if he was not availble. I had more stress on a Tuesday night than I had that day! In addition to his impeccable planning and event management skills, he is incredibly creative. I had only a vague idea of what colors I liked when we first met, and, almost a year later, Mr Shamim turned that little idea into a gorgeous affair with a very creative theme that matched our personalities (vintage spring book fair - yes, you may use that). I remember walking into the reception tent for the first time and being blown away. Lotus Production had created exactly what I would have wanted had I been able to imagine it. We cannot thank Lotus Production's Team and Staff enough for the best day of our lives! ... And Yes It was MY DREAM CREATION BY LOTUS PRODUCTION...

Mr. Shamim is just AMAZING! As it is, planning a wedding is no easy task. What made it even more difficult was having to plan from 300 miles away! I could not have done it without him. He was my right hand man for about a year of planning, and was always there when I needed him. He planned and supervised everything from A to Z and all of his company's staff were absolutly professional. Anyone hoping for a stress free planning period and wedding day has to work with LOTUS PRODUCTION and I promise you'll thank me!

Before our wedding, my wife and I spent sooo much time looking for good videographers and photographers for our wedding. We wanted something that was the best mixture between quality work and something that would fit our budget. We are so glad we came across Shamim and Lotus Productions. With our first appointment he gave us more samples of his work and gave us an idea of what to expect. He worked with us to shoot our wedding video the way we wanted and he knew what to do in terms of coordinating with the other videographers to capture the best shots and make sure the important moments were captured. There are enough things to worry about on your wedding day, and these guys know how to make to do things right and make sure they run smoothly. They were there early and knew exactly what they were doing. Before receiving our final product, Shamim gave us a run through of our video and asked for our input (what we liked and wanted to add or change). We really loved our video and I can see that he spent so much time putting all that editing, splicing, and creating something truly special and professional.
We unfortunately weren't too happy with our wedding photos when they came out which regretfully contracted a different wedding photographer for, especially after spending so much on them. They weren't touched up at all and some photos were just plain novice.
Shamim mentioned to us earlier that Lotus Production does wedding photography. Because of our satisfaction with his work, we asked if he could take some pictures of us in our wedding attire. During our photo session, he was very professional and very good at directing us in different poses that looked natural, occasionally showing us some of the shots to demonstrate how we looked and how to adjust ourselves to improve the shots. Once we were done we went through the photos with him and selected which ones we liked and he photoshopped one of the pictures for us to demonstrate his work and make sure we liked how they looked. This guy is definitely customer orientated and he is looking out for his customers, and in that regards that is exactly the kind of person I want to stay with. I highly recommend Lotus Productions and Shamim, anyone who has worked with him first hand will say nothing less. Find out for yourself.

What can I say about these guys... they are awesome. We found them after our initial contractor, whose name I will not mention here, disappointed us. And although we were penalized by our old contractor for canceling our contract, I am glad we made the switch.
Shawn worked with us every step of the way to bring my wife's vision to life. Most vendors tell you about the quality of their service, but these guys are true to their words. Although we had paid for 8 hours of service, they arrived and stayed way longer than 8 hours, working till our last guest left. I could go on about these guys... but I will say this; they are AWESOME!

We had Lotus production to do our whole wedding planning. Really the quality of the work surpassed our expectations and they did a fabulous job. With no exception always with highest standards, ethics and patiently our calls and inquiries were returned and lovingly our stress was tolerated. Lotus production handled the pipe and drapery at my wedding. I really enjoyed working with Shammi and his team. They went the extra mile in ensuring everything was done on time despite the tight set-up time frame. Shammi is personable and makes every efforts to work within your budget without compromising the quality of service the company provides.

My one regret is I had contracted with other vendors to provide related services before I came across Lotus Productions.

Lotus Production provided the services and decorations for my first firefighter's ball. When I walked into our fire station's bingo hall, I could not recognize it. The hall was transformed into a beautiful ballroom with elegant drapes lining the walls and decorations hanging from the ceiling. The tables were covered with fancy tablecloths and copper place settings. This event was a magical evening that we could celebrate in style. I look forward any each event we have with Lotus Production in the future.
