Amazing wedding venue!!!
My husband and I got married at Los Willows a few months ago and we HIGHLY recommend it as a wedding venue!! We fell in love with the venue when we first toured it and could not get over how naturally beautiful the location was. Everyone who works there is also extremely communicative, friendly, and attentive!! Our coordinator (Samantha Trejo) was the BEST and was so on top of everything on the wedding day. I felt so confident in the entire Los willows team and the whole day was perfect!-

Absolute Perfection!
We can't thank Jennifer Armenta enough for making our wedding day absolutely perfect! From the very first meeting to the last moment of our celebration, she went above and beyond to ensure every detail was flawlessly executed. Her organization and attention to detail made our big day stress-free, and she truly brought our vision to life. We were so impressed by her calm demeanor, her ability to anticipate our needs, and her seamless coordination with all vendors. She made sure everything at Los Willows ran smoothly, allowing us to fully enjoy every moment without worry. If you're looking for a wedding coordinator who is not only professional but also genuinely passionate about making your day magical, Jennifer is the one to choose! We couldn’t have asked for a better partner to help bring our dream wedding to life. Highly recommend!
Also we would be crazy not to give a HUGE shoutout to Lynn, who basically adopted us from the moment we set foot on the property for our first tour! We didn’t just fall in love with the property, we fell in love with Lynn who truly made this decision to book Los Willows an easy one!-

A magical wedding experience at Los Willows
Los Willows is an absolutely stunning wedding venue! Our wedding day couldn't have been more perfect, thanks to the amazing scenery and the beautifully maintained grounds. It truly is a magical place. Our friends and family had nothing but positive comments, especially appreciating how family-friendly the venue is. We loved the convenience of having the ceremony, reception, and cocktail hour all close by, as well as the breathtaking view of the lake. I especially loved the onsite bridal salon and lounge for getting ready. It is the most perfect venue. Jennifer Armenta, our wedding planner and coordinator, provided an exceptional experience and was a joy to work with. She, along with the rest of the Los Willows staff, were true professionals and ensured our event went seamlessly. We are so thankful for their hard work and highly recommend having your wedding at Los Willows!-

Tamra is the best!
"This is the most beautiful wedding I've ever been to" I heard MULTIPLE times on my wedding day. The ceremony spot in the meadow is RIDICULOUSLY gorgeous. There's all different lights hanging from the trees, a water fall in the distance and a huge arch. Everything is so green and pretty. The reception area as well is indoor but one side is open so it's never too hot and stuffy. They have loads of decor and options to choose for to make your wedding perfect. Everyone I worked with was great, but mainly Tamra! She helped me through the process and i never felt like she was annoyed at me when I changed my mind 100 times! She was also my day of coordinator and she was so calming to have around. It's a nerve wracking day and she helped so much. You really are the best!-

Gorgeous Day
We've been part of the Los Willows family since 2018. My husband and I initially booked at their sister site Paradise Falls; and our original date was set for April 11, 2020. We've had such a wonderful experience with everyone who had helped us.
The most amazing person was Lynne. She truly made us feel like family with every warm greeting. I'm so happy that she was the one that broke the news to us about Paradise Falls. She invited us to continue on with Los Willows. We trust Lynne entirely so we said yes to booking Los Willows without even checking it out. I'm glad we did because we loved our wedding at Los Willows!
Lynne is the reason why we still wanted to have our wedding. She's so kind and loving. She checked in on us and was there for us every step of the way. She wanted to ensure that our wedding was as stress-free as possible!
The big day was great! Los Willows has so many wedding items that are included or available for upgrades. They even provide a day of coordinator. I think that it would make the day even smoother to have the venue coordinator and your own personal coordinator. We had some extra features that didn't make it out on the big day, but no use in sweating the small details. Our favorite thing about the venue is that it's dog-friendly! Our pups were able to be at our wedding too.
The venue itself is gorgeous! There are also many activities to keep the guests engaged. One thing I cannot stress enough is to GET THE EXTRA HOUR. My husband and I wish we did because the night felt like it ended so soon, and we wanted it to last longer.
Thank you to everyone at Los Willows - especially Lynne! -

Best day ever!
Let me start off by saying, the past year was emotionally daunting trying to plan a wedding with Covid in the back of our minds. HOWEVER, the team at Los Willows was beyond accommodating throughout the entire process. First off, Victoria is such a kind and sweet hearted woman who was very helpful and understanding. Erica understood what it was like to be a stressed out bride, and God bless her for dealing with me. My coordinator Tamra, holy smokes she is just absolutely wonderful. She too dealt with my emotions and knew EXACTLY what we wanted our night to look like. Now for the star of the the show, Lynne.... this woman was adamant on making our day 100% perfect and boy did she deliver. She made us feel taken care of throughout our whole planning process and made sure we would have our dream day. She and Tamra jumped through many many hoops to make our day something we will remember for the rest of our lives. Our day could not have been any more PERFECT! All of our wedding guests were so impressed by the beautiful venue and the professional exhibited by the Los Willows team.
Thank you Los Willows for for taking care of us and giving me my fairytale wedding!! -

Abundant and Flawless
Los Willows provided us with a magical wedding day. There is no better word to describe it. As many of our guests have told us following the wedding, it felt like a fairy tale. Our coordinator, Tamra Leach, made the entire process seamless. We felt this way prior to the pandemic, and even more so after being faced with postponing our wedding. Tamra’s attention to detail, and ability to carry over previous plans, desires, and visions into 2021 (postponement year), gave us confidence that our hard work was not lost, and our ideal wedding day would still happen. And that came true! Additionally, the Los Willows team enhanced our postponed wedding beyond our original expectations (special thanks to Lynne!). We worked with Victoria from the catering team, who was sweet, positive, and professional. We highly recommend working with her. To this day, our guests are raving about the food!
One very unique and special thing about Los Willows is that you can live out your entire experience on the property. Having the bridal salon & suite and groomsmen room for hours before the wedding allows for an easy, fun, and intimate getting ready experience. You really feel like the estate is yours for the day. We can honestly say that this venue is flawless and there are no complaints to be said. Thank you to the entire Los Willows team for being in our corner and not missing a beat. We will hold this enchanting place in our hearts forever! -

Stunning Ceremony Site
If you're a bride looking to get married at Los Willows we 100% say go for it. As wedding photographers who have worked here we can honestly say the whole day is an absolute dream from start to finish. Not only does the venue have beautiful, well manicured grounds, but it's incredibly functional and convenient for everyone involved with your wedding.
One thing we always recommend to brides when looking for a wedding venue is to find something that is all inclusive, and Los Willows delivers. Los willows has not only a gorgeous bridal suite but also a separate cottage to give brides the option of arriving early to completely get ready at the venue. Their beautiful ceremony area features large shady trees for guests and a quiet brook to enjoy. Finally, the tented reception space is not only beautiful but also a great way to have an outdoor wedding with the assurance of an indoor space should there be any rain in the forecast. You and your guests (and vendors) will love all that this venue has to offer.
The staff, location, and grounds make this one of our favorite venues to photograph at and we can't wait to shoot here again!

Perry Wedding 9-21-19
The entire process was a breeze because of Low Willows' team. They did a great job setting up appointments and meetings and provided us with all the necessary information to help us feel comfortable diving into all the wedding planning. I appreciate that they offer complimentary decor items, a day of wedding planner, several planning meetings, and a food tasting.
First, I'd like to give a shout out to Alyssa O'nan for all her help and for answering my endless list of questions. She was so sweet, kind, and professional! She responded to emails and phone calls promptly and was just a pleasure to work with. Overall, I highly recommend her being a part of your wedding planning.
Second, I'd like to show appreciation to our day of wedding coordinator Amanda Eggers. From our first introductory meeting she helped us feel comfortable and offered her personal contact information to answer any and all questions and concerns at any time of day. On the day of our wedding Amanda ensured that me and my bridal team were all set up, my groom and his groomsmen were set up, the decorations were placed out, and that all deliveries arrived. She sent me pictures of picture collage frames to make sure I approved of her work - which wasn't needed since she is quite experienced and has great creative talent! Needless to say, you can trust her with carrying out your special day with professionalism and care. Thank you Amanda!
Third, I absolutely need to give a huge shout out to Los Willows' Chef Stass! We truly enjoyed all of the food at the wedding tasting and were so excited to have such an amazing chef preparing the food for our wedding! We got sooo many compliments about our wedding food! Thank you Chef Stass for your amazing work!
Overall, Los Willows gave us the wedding of our dreams! Definitely can't beat the beautiful scenery, amazing food, and organized and professional wedding planning team. Thank you again LW!-

Fantastic!!!!
My husband and I got married at Los Willows in September 2019. Alyssa and Amanda really helped us feel stress free throughout the process. We first saw the venue in March 2019 and we fell in love with the open space. We were first introduced to Alyssa who helped us plan our big day. She helped us find vendors and helped us think about our budget, seating arrangements, linen colors, timeline of the day, grand exit, etc. Alyssa introduced us to Amanda, our day of coordinator, who was greatly helpful in ensuring our big day was perfect about a month before our wedding date. Amanda coordinated with our vendors such as florist, catering, cake, etc to ensure they were on time. She made sure our family members knew where they’re supposed to be & the time they’re supposed to be there. One of the example of their excellent service would be when the button on my husband’s tux came loose and Amanda sewed it for him. My husband and I were not the only ones who were happy with the venue and service, our family members also complimented and expressed how amazing the wedding went. A big thanks to the Los Willows team!! -

Magical and Wonderful!
Our wedding was on October 5th and was absolutely amazing! I can't express how awesome and professional all the staff are. Julianne was our wedding planner and was so helpful. She helped us through the entire wedding planning process all the while making us feel special. Nancy was our coordinator and was just completely awesome. She was on top of everything on our big day to make sure it went smoothly. The venue is gorgeous and they are always updating the venue to keep it modern and up-to-date with trends. I would definitely recommend this venue to any couple that is looking for a beautiful venue to get married at. 😊❤️ -

In May 2017, we were able to have the wedding of our dreams at Los Willows Wedding Estate! When you are in the office, look at the photos and image yourself in those stunning locations. When you tour the estate, imagine how you could customize it to your own vision (they have several ceremony sites). In our case, not only did we use their red roadster and boat, we also brought in a horse drawn carriage, 1955 pink cadillac, jazz trio and live band.
After touring 6-8 venues, we knew our choice would be Los Willows the minute we visited. Although our guest count was fewer than their minimum package, we booked it knowing we could use the extra money in the budget for numerous upgrades, such as additional foods, decorations, etc.
The staff there is top notch, giving suggestions when asked and making sure our wedding was exactly what we wanted. Our planner worked with us for many months, getting every detail in place, and our day-of coordinator made everything happen as we wished, from start to finish.
Los Willows encouraged us to invite our guests up to an hour before the ceremony, so they could enjoy the beautiful estate. That was a wonderful suggestion, because there is so much to see. We used several vendors from their list, and were happy with all of them.
Some of our guests told us that ours was the best wedding they had ever attended and we feel that Los Willows is the main reason for that compliment! -

Los Willows Estate and their staff are the HIDDEN GEM of Fallbrook!
As soon as we set foot on the venue, we fell in LOVE. Los Willows is a garden oasis that is perfectly manicured and has ample space for guests to explore and enjoy.
Our first concern-- is this too good to be true? We wondered if this gorgeous place would be in our budget. We were so relieved to find out they offer several packages, at different prices based on your needs. They also offer several different incentive discounts (i.e. off-season rates) to help their clients. That being said, their all-inclusive package in the off season worked perfectly for us!
We then wondered, would everything live up to our expectations? In short, YES! To be specific, our wedding planner and coordinator, Julianne and Allyson (aka the dream team) made our wedding day everything we hoped for and MORE! They were amazing helping us through the planning process and the execution of all those plans on the big day. They even went above and beyond by making our every request fulfilled, even some that we didn't think could happen!!!
I could go on and on about this place, but in short, choosing Los Willows for our venue was the best decision we made! They made the bride, groom, family, and all guests extremely pleased. =)
I would recommend them to anyone! -

My wife and I had our wedding here about two months ago and are very happy with our decision! First, a big thank you to Julianne for making the wedding planning as pleasant and easy as possible. We have busy lives but she was always on top of every concern and request we ever had. Second, another big thank you to Allyson for making the days leading up to and including the wedding day as perfect as possible. She made it so we did not have to worry about anything and could fully enjoy our time with each other and our guests. Julianne and Allyson, along with the rest of the Los Willows staff, were not only professional, but friendly and kind to us through the entire process. The property is beautiful and the staff made the price work for us. I highly recommend this venue to anyone and everyone -

Los Willows out did themselves in every aspect of my wedding! I honetly can't say enough great things about this venue. Everyone told me that something will go wrong on my wedding day, and to not let it get to me, but, my day was absolutely perfect in every way. The staff took such great care of my me, my husband, and all of my guests so well, that I still have people telling me that my wedding was one of the BEST weddings they have been too. The food was great, all the decor, and lighting was great, and the dj ( we used pro sounds dj) was more than I could ask for. Los Willows is a hidden little gem that any bride to be should check out. -

First off, the venue is beautiful, clean and accommodating. Kendra was amazing! I don't think our wedding would have been half as good or organized without her. She kept everyone on track; even the little difficult photographer. The food and cake were good. We were happy that our package included all that it did (cake, candy bar, dinner). I would definitely recommend spending extra for the B&B. Bobby was great. My mom and mother-in-law wanted to take him home. -

I can't say enough good things about Los Willows. My husband and I exchanged vows on December 7th and it was the most AMAZING day of my life. Our coordinator Allyson saved me from myself all day. Of course on your wedding day you are stressed out about everything under the sun! "Where's my earrings?" "Who has my veil?" "Are my shoes here?" and without her, I might never of made it down the aisle, I would still be trying to find everything. She was so organized and every quetion or request I had was answered. Everything went so smoothly from the moment we booked them all the way through the last dance. During my planning I would call Los Willows any time for any reason and they were always there to answer my questions and calm down my bridal nerves. Liza was absolutely wonderful every time I talked to her! I told their assistant Julianne that if this place is around in 30+ years, my daughter will be getting married there. No place compares to Los Willows. All night I was hearing compliments of how beautiful this wedding was. The night went way to fast, but I have amazing memories here and will always have the pictures to look back on and reminisce. Thank you again Los Willows for making my wedding day the most amazing day I could have dreamed of. -

We had an amazing wedding at Los Willows. The location is breathtaking! Our day of coordinator, Kendra, was simply amazing. She never got flustered by any of the requests we were "throwing at her." She made us feel like we were the only wedding she had ever done or that we were her favorite group to ever get married there...of course, neither of which is true...but she had the amazing way of making us feel that way. Liza was also wonderful to work with. The roadster ride in for the groom and his best man and the boat ride across the lake for the bride and her father are two of the unique things that Los Willows provides...FOR NOT EXTRA COST! The wedding party stayed at the B&B located above the venue (at an extra cost). I would HIGHLY recommend renting it as part of your wedding experience. It is beautifully decorated with a salon for the use of your hair stylist and makeup artist. Bobby, the innkeeper, was so kind and made sure we all had what we needed. He made our experience at the B&B very memorable! -

The staff at Los Willows was amazing! Took all of the stress and heartache out of planning our dream wedding. Kendra was our wedding coordinator and she took charge and made sure everything happened on time and everything as it should. Our wedding was a fairytale. The estate is absolutely beautiful. The staff is courteous and efficient. The venue added all the little details to make our day extra special including an entrance on a boat and a departure in a beautiful classic car. Made for such beautiful photo ops. -

Los Willows was our first and last venue that we looked at. When we walked onto the ground and Liza gave us the tour we simply fell in love! Everything they have to offer is truly amazing. The grounds are breathtaking, the food is phenomenal, the decor is beautiful, and all the added things that come with your wedding package is priceless!!!! What's really the best part about Los Willows though is their staff and service. They had our wedding planned down to every tiny detail. Liza helped us pick the decor and guided us in the right direction. On the day of Bobby waited on us hand and foot while the girls and I enjoyed being pampered in the day salon provided. Our day of wedding coordinator, Kendra, was truly phenomenal! She made sure the wedding went off without a hitch! She's such a gem! She waited on me hand and foot- even helped me in and out of my shoes for dancing lol. She was unbelievable!! The entire staff that day was also amazing- from those serving food, to the bartenders, to office staff, they were all just wonderful! I can't say enough about how much we LOVED it here. Thank you Los Willows for making our dream wedding a reality!

An amazing venue tucked away in Fallbrook. This place is beautiful, a private little paradise. I had my wedding there about two weeks ago and it was perfect. The experience from start to finish was stress free with the help of the pleasant staff.
Kendra our coordinator is awesome... We couldn't have asked for a more professional, yet friendly person. She always had a positive attitude no matter how many changes we made. She was very helpful and had great recommendations for our setup. It was like dealing with a family member.
I must mention on the day of the wedding, to show how committed Kendra is, she continued to assist us with a injured hand and carried our daughter most of the time during the reception while doing so.
Everything went according to plan and turned out great, from ceremony to reception, to even include the delicious food and cake. We received plenty of positive compliments about having our wedding at Los Willows. Friends and family expressed how beautiful this place was and how comfortable the staff made them feel.
We will definitely recommend Los Willows to anyone.
Thank you Los Willows and staff. -

I recently had my wedding at Los Willows and it was truly the best experience. They are so amazing and make you feel so special and taken care of. We didn't have to worry about a thing and were able to enjoy every second of our day. The coordinators are incredible, they remember every little detail so you don't have to and make sure that the evening continues to flow well. Throughout the planning process the staff was always so kind and made us feel like family. Aside from the great staff, the venue itself is absolutely gorgeous and I received so many great comments about it. The food was also great and we received many compliments on that as well. Getting ready at the salon on location is so fun and you have all this space just for you and your girls to enjoy. We were all so relaxed there. I can't say enough good things about Los Willows, choosing this venue for my wedding is the best decision I could've made. -

The staff is so helpful, they answer all your questions right away and take care of everything. Kendra, the day of coordinator, is the most helpful and amazing person. If you want to have a perfect wedding, go to Los Willows. The place itself is breathtaking. They have a gazebo for the ceremony, a small lake that looks so great in the pictures, the tent reception that makes you feel like you are a celebrity with the tent weddings. The staff is very good from the planning until the wedding day itself. Included is your day of wedding coordinator. And Kendra is just amazing. She takes care of everything! All you have to do is just enjoy the day. The food was also perfect. All our guests said the same thing. WOW!! They are a little bit pricey compared to the other venues but it is really worth it. And they will work with your budget. And I would recommend staying at their inn with your bridal party. For the 2 days, all of us were pampered.
It is so difficult to express in words how amazing Los Willows is. What I want is for every bride that is reading my review to just check out the place and you will know what I mean. -

I cannot began to say enough good things about Los Willows and the staff. I can honestly say that if you are looking for a private beautiful venue that is also unique, then Los Willows is the place for you. My husband and I got married at Los Willows on Oct. 14th 2010 and it was an absolutely PERFECT day! It was so much fun coming across the lake on a boat as my entrance to the ceremony and just having a few minutes after we were married to be alone as we sailed around the lake added yet another special moment to a wonderful day. Also the staff at Los Willows are beyond amazing - they take care of everything (even if you are planning the wedding from a different country like we were) and they pay close attention to all the little details to make sure your day is personal and goes off without a hitch. My guests cannot stop talking about how much they loved everything from the ceremony, to the reception and how beautiful the atmosphere was. There are endless places to take unique and perfect pictures and the place is all yours and only yours for the whole evening.
If you have the chance to stay at the Los Willows Inn, it is a must! It will be an unforgettable, personal and magical memory. I had all the bridesmaids and mothers stay the night before the wedding and it was like staying in some little English bed and breakfast, but you have the whole place to yourself. There are games, and a fireplace, an incredible breakfast, a waterfall and the view from the top of the hill makes you feel like you are on the top of the world - what better way to start or end your wedding day. They simply treat you like royalty and every little need and want is taken care of before you can even ask for anything. Just a lovely place!!! -

I attended a wedding at Los Willows about five years ago and loved it. So then when I became engaged, I made an appointment to tour Los Willows. This time as a bride. Oh my gosh! I thought it was beautiful before but now it is amazing. First off I met Liza, their wedding coordinator and she went out of her way to make me feel like I was the only bride in the world getting married. Her attention to detail is incredible. I never worried about a thing and had a great time with the pre-wedding planning. I scheduled my tasting and was able to bring my fiance, my mom and my aunt and I can't say enough about the food. What was truly great was the food tasted as good at my wedding as it did at the tasting. I reserved two nights at their luxury B&B so that I could have some quality time with my close family and friends. The next morning, I met my hair and makeup person in their bridal hair salon. All my bridesmaids were there so it turned out to be so much fun, we laughed all the time until it was time to begin the ceremony. I joined my dad in the back of a Rolls Royce and while the ceremony was getting started, I was whisked down to the lake and came across it in this wonderful boat with flowers on it. All my guests raved about my grand entrance and how they never saw such an unusual and romantic start to a wedding before. After that, everything was like a fairy tale. We had the most amazing photographs taken with the lake in the background and then we joined out guests in a large pavillion with a crystal chandelier and special colored lighting. Like I said, the food was delicious. Oh, I don't want to forget that the cake was exactly the way I envisioned it and the different tiers had the exact flavors I selected at the tasting. It was covered with flowers and showcased in a large gazebo. After the wedding, my husband and I were chauffered in the Rolls Royce up to the Inn and we had champagne and chocolate dipped strawberries waiting for us. Bobby, the Innkeeper was so nice, and can he cook! We had a private breakfast on our patio away from everybody and then we ordered a duet massage to truly relax before we started out for our honeymoon. I wish I could do it all over again! I will never forget Los Willows. -

As a bride you are Leary picking out a venue... It's the most important decision. But rest assured, Los willows will treat you right. I couldn't have had a better experience . I mostly worked with Liza and Kendra. Both were phenomenal in what they do as well as being very personable. And no matter what questions I had to ask, they responded In a timely manner. I definitely could not have made it through my wedding day without Kendra. Thanks again Los willows for a great wedding that my guests are still talking about! My husband and I started looking for venues about a year prior to our wedding. We had visited a few and most that we've seen just wasn't "it". I was browsing online for wedding venues and out came Los Willows in Fallbrook, CA. There wasn't much photos on their site to look at so I made an appointment to tour it. The drive to Fallbrook was a little boring to say the least. Not much out there and first thought when driving to the venue was, "Where the heck am I going?!" but as soon as we saw the lake and this beautiful and gorgeous estate pop out of nowhere, I just fell in love! There was absolutely nothing that we saw that we didn't like and I knew that this was "IT". From the planning through the day of our wedding, everyone was absolutely helpful and made sure we were well taken care of. Kendra, our wedding coordinator was AWESOME!!! And every one of my guests LOVED HER!!! It was such a beautiful place and the weather was perfect! And my husband and I couldn't have gotten married anywhere else other than at that venue! -

AMAZING AMAZING AMAZING. Everything about Los Willows was amazing, and many of my friends and family have commented on this being the best wedding they have ever attended. As many of the other reviews clearly state, Los Willows is stunning - wonderful pictures, tranquil scenery, unique feel all make for a great day. I love the fact that they made it so easy to have the wedding - they recommend vendors, they deal with the caterer, the wedding day coordinator made sure everything ran smoothly and handled all the little bumps that naturally arose. Debra (who works in the office) was my main contact person, and as long as I didn't email her on M/T (her days off), she quickly responded to all of my questions. She was always helpful, even when I changed my mind about appetizers, colors, linens a million times. She even helped me choose the best lighting and linen colors when I was there the last time, and they turned out fabulously. Definitely use Debra as a resource, because she is nice and awesome! On the actual wedding day, Gail (the day-of-coordinator) helped us with timing for walking down the aisle, and straightened out my train for the pictures as I walked, and during the ceremony when one sick bridesmaid couldn't stop coughing, Gail slyly snuck up the side with a cough drop - talk about amazing service. We ended up one seat short at a table when my 2 year old half-brother didn't want a high chair, and took a seat instead, so Gail squeezed another in, and she also brought my husband and I food right away so that we could eat at the reception. She and the DJ and photographers worked together on timing to make sure it all ran smoothly and on-time.
The only slight negative thing to be aware of are the extra costs that add up - colored linens and chair covers (I think 6.50 per guest), alcohol (we just did beer/wine which everyone loved, and nobody got rowdy, just healthy fun), lighting package for colored lights ($300 I think). These added up and weren't in the original estimate, so we spent more than expected, but having had the best night in my life, I would never change a single thing about our wedding.
The single best thing we did was rent the Los Willows Inn for 2 nights (rehearsal dinner and wedding night) for the wedding party. It is not cheap, but the inn-keeper, Bobby, was amazing and he was there at night to serve us glasses of wine, chips, beer, and each morning he cooked a full breakfast for us. The bridesmaids all ate at 7 the morning of the wedding (before hair/makeup), and he made another breakfast for all of the groomsmen at 11am (bachelor party the night prior). We had ~10 other friends and family over each night to hang out and we were able to spend quality time enjoying each others company. Staying at the Inn made the experience even better than it already was.
Also, I wasn't sure about the recommended vendors at first, but the DJ (alex) and Florist (Sheri) were absolutely wonderful. The flowers blew me away when I saw them - better than I ever dreamed. Alex kept everyone dancing and entertained, and made the night so so so much fun. -

My now husband and I got married at Los Willows on June 30, 2016. Before deciding on Los Willows, we looked at about 9 wedding venues spanning from Northern California (from Redwoods to San Francisco) and a few more places in the San Diego area. We picked Los Willows because of the price and the exclusivity that they only have 1 wedding for the day (unlike one other place in Fallbrook that had a great venue but could potentially have 2 weddings going on at the same time on separate sections of the venue). We had all of Los Willows to ourselves including the different themed sections they have (lake front, gazebo, 'forest' area, vineyard) which our photographer took advantage of. We also booked two nights at the villa and Bobbie was AMAZING! The 4 stars is because we had some small mishaps during planning (the initial 'preferred' vendor list I was given was a short list and only had 1 option for catering, cake and hair and makeup) but I asked if they have more vendors, they gave me more options. Also, my bridal entrance music did not start until I was already halfway down. I felt the coordinator could have communicated to the string quartet earlier that I was already walking down as they did have those 'walkie talkies' and saw them using it for other things. Other than that, the event ended well and that's what really matters. -

Los Willows is a beautifully wedding venue. I am so happy this is the venue I chose. Everything about the estate is picture perfect. Working with the the wedding planners was easy and they always had everything under control. The only small issue I had was getting a response back via email was sometimes a few days later, in that case I would just call and they were right on it . Overall I would highly recommend! -

I found Los Willows online while looking for wedding venues. We scheduled a tour and instantly realized that their website did not do the venue justice. This place is beautiful! The staff treated us like friends and were never rude and always greated enthusiastically when we arrived for our planning meetings. Kendra and Liza did an amaing job during the planning process and were patient with me when i needed time to think about an option. On my wedding day Kendra was fantastic and kept everything on schedule without being pushy or overbearing. I also loved the fact that everything was in one place and it was private. The Inn was absolutely woth it and Bobby was an amazing host! My only suggestion would be that you request a price list of everything upfront to aid you in your budget planning so that you don't add further costs that you were not expecting two months before your wedding. -

Words cannot express how lucky we got to book our wedding reception at Los Willows! The team that helped create this fairytale wedding could not have done a better job… Julianne was so fun planning with and her love for her job shines through in every thing that she does! I don't even know where to begin with Allison… She read our minds on every single detail and showing up to the venue the day of our reception I truly felt I had gone to heaven – because it was an absolute dream! Every detail was right, she kept everything on task and if there were any issues I had no clue cause it all seemed to go absolutely perfect!! THANK YOU SO INCREDIBLY MUCH!!!! I think 'A-team' is understatement of the century! -

I loved having our wedding here!! The site is absolutely beautiful and the staff are very professional and flexible. It's an investment, but when you book with Los Willows they provide all food and catering staff, a wedding planner, a day-of coordinator, and so many other perks. Julianne was my planner and Claudia was my day-of coordinator- they were both wonderful and we couldn't have pulled off this day without them. Thanks Los Willows! -

The Los willows venue is breathtaking and amidst all the pandemic craziness and plans changing, los willows was such a blessing for us! The venue is gorgeous and all of our family and friends were so impressed with how beautiful everything was from the ceremony to the reception! I loved how open and spacious it was for our guests and the roadster, boat cruise and privacy were common favorites amongst everyone!! We loved this venue and definitely would recommend it! :)-

Amazing Experience
Los Willows provided a beautiful experience! Their venue provided the perfect feeling of understated elegance. I was married in the meadow that has a beautiful sunny view of lush greenery and trees, and so many of my guests gushed about how beautiful the setting was. In Los Willows you’ll find the perfect mix of a beautiful outdoor boho feel with refined elegance.
Los Willows staff and planners are also very organized and will lead you through the process of planning a wedding in a timely and clear manner. I did not use a wedding planner, so this was a big deal for me. They indulged my attention to detail and checked in with me frequently to make sure my planning proceeded nicely. As a result, I had very little stress, even in the last few months of planning.
Alyssa was my consultant, and she was amazing! She guided me through the process and kept me on track. Kendra was my day-of coordinator, and she and I had an immediate connection and understanding of my vision. My husband and I felt like we were in very good hands with her. She’s so professional and amazing at her job!
We enjoyed the catering as well. We had two dishes, tri tip and chicken picatta, a wonderful salad and roasted potatoes and veggies. My only note would be that I requested and was told the chicken would be thinly pounded, but it was not. However, the tri tip was very flavorful as well as the veggies, and salad. The drinks were great, and the vibe at the reception was amazing!
My only caution would be that this is not the venue for you if you're looking to party into the wee hours of the morning. Noise ordinances are in effect in this area of san diego county so I believe no loud music after 11pm or midnight. This was okay with us but may not be for others.
Overall, our experience was great from top to bottom and we have such fond memories of our wedding day and Los Willows played a large part in that! Highly recommended! -

Beautiful Wedding Venue
My husband and I were looking for somewhere that looked enchanted and magical for our wedding, and Los Willows did the trick. The number one thing guests have been giving us complements on are how amazing the venue was. The trees, landscaping, and lighting everywhere were beautiful and helped to create the fall rustic romantic vibe we were going for. The staff there were super friendly and worked with us to accommodate our vendors and our requests. The reception area worked out wonderfully with the band and dance floor. The food was good, the drinks were good, and having those bride and groom suites to get ready in really helped. As great as photos are, you've got to see this place in person to feel just how wonderful it really it. Definitely recommend!-

We got married at Los Willows 2 weeks ago. You can't find a more beautiful venue for your wedding, it's amazing! My guests said it was like a fairytale.
I found their prices to be very competitive with other venues, and much cheaper than our original choice of a winery. LW does get you with the costs on the back end ($150/half hour for early bridal room access, they don't allow the DJ to play music for the last half hour of the reception so we had to pay $350 so we could dance until the end). Our biggest disappointment was they required us to 'donate,' as they call it, the table runners we purchased and made ourselves. Very disappointing considering how much money and time we spent making our runners.
LW is extremely flexible with most things. They had capped our reception tables at 15 and said they would charge for extra tables. We desperately needed one extra table and they provided it at no cost. They weren't able to give us access to the salon to get ready so early in the morning, so they gave us an extra hour to the bridal room at no cost. They also granted our request for the specific day-of coordinator we had asked for (more about that in the paragraph below). They definitely make great efforts to work with you and provide you with a great wedding experience!
The one other challenge we encountered is that they change your wedding coordinator one month before the wedding. LW should provide one coordinator that works with you all the way through. This however, leads me into my review of our day-of coordinator, Claudia. She was wonderful! She is very sweet, and was up to speed on all the details very quickly. She is very responsive via email and would email from her personal email within minutes! She was fabulous on our wedding day! Everything was perfectly on schedule and flowed effortlessly. She was where she needed to be at every moment, and would show up to help or direct us at the exact time needed. If you choose LW , ask for Claudia! -

I absolutely loved this venue! From the moment, I pulled up to the space I knew it was where I was going to get married! I had the most amazing wedding and the most perfect day I could have ever imagined! The staff was great as well. Kendra was my personal wedding planner, but Liza the manager helped meet my needs whenever I had to come down to the office during a time when Kendra was unavailable. They were very flexible in that capacity. What I didn't like, however and please be aware of, were all of the hidden charges along the way. It became almost impossible to stay ahead of the budget and ensure that all of my guests would be fed what I wanted and get some cocktails because just as I thought I could afford to do one thing or another, it became clear to me that it was yet another additional charge. Your vendors are not provided meals, you must pay additional for them. Children under 5 are not covered they are half price, at $50/ plate. It is not worth it to get fondant on your cake at $14 per person an linens are per priced per person, not per table. Overall, I had a great experience with Los Willows, I just wished that I would have been better informed of charges from the beginning as opposed to when they came up. -

First of all, this is the most beautiful piece of property that I have ever sent foot on. The grass is always green, the flowers always in bloom, and the lake always peaceful. Definitely an ideal place to get married (even at the end of December).
The staff, for the most part, is extremely friendly. Make sure that you are persistent when trying to get information, at times it took them a while to get back to me when I called with questions. When we did communicate however, everyone was extremely nice and helpful. Debra was wonderful to work with as was the coordinator the day of my wedding.
The food that is included was OUTSTANDING! Definitely the best food I've had at a wedding by far. The cake turned out lovely (exactly how I'd envisioned it) and tasted wonderful.
Even on our modest budget we still managed to have a beautiful wedding here without paying for all the upgrades. I would recommend this site to any bride who wishes to get married outdoors in the lovely Southern California sun, no matter what her budget. -

Amazing venue!
Alyssa Onan was our wedding planner and she was amazing at helping us narrow down our choices. For an all inclusive venue, they offer great options. The twinkle lights are stunning and we got a fair amount of pictures we will cherish forever! Make sure to book Pro Sound DJ, who is their VIP DJ. Cregg brought the energy and was the best DJ I’ve ever experienced! The only thing I would recommend LW to consider, would be more flexible timelines. We were rushed to get everything in but overall we are so happy with our experience here! -

Los Willows is an amazing venue, the grounds are stunning and all of our guests were wowed with it! The lake is a beautiful backdrop and the draping in the tent with the chandelier is gorgeous. The vendors they team up with (DaVine Catering for Food, and Elegance on Display for Cake) are great, the food/cake was delicious and I was really happy with everything. The only complaint is that I felt very nickeled and dimed by Los Willows. The patio furniture is ugly black metal and you have to pay to have it covered, and then they will only cover the tall tables and not the short and want more money to cover those as well. For how much you are paying you would think that they would throw in a few table cloths to cover the ugly furniture that I wouldn't even have in my own backyard. Also the appetizers are a little bare, I did the hummus and everyone said it tasted good but it was only hummus with bread, no veggies or chips to dip it in. It would be nice if they added in some other things to dip. I also had a few issues with communication, I scheduled a tasting with them showed up and was told it was actually with the caterer at a different location, something they never mentioned before, I scheduled an appointment for my details meeting and they made it for the week prior, I am an out of town bride who flew in for it, they made it work but it was a bit frustrating, and the cake provider was changed and no-one mentioned anything to me until I called to say they had a flavor wrong on my sheet and I was told someone new was doing it and that I would have to meet with someone new to go over the design and tasting (again for someone flying in, it was frustrating to have to continue to do things I had already done). Kendra is a great coordinator, but she had the last song played 10 minutes before we were scheduled to end and was very pushy about us getting in the getaway car instead of staying in to say goodbye to everyone. Overall it is a great venue and I loved the wedding! -

This site was beautiful. Everyone really catered to my wants and needs for my wedding. If I needed something or requested something they normally didnt do, they went out of there way for me. I had the boat ride entrance as I came down the aisle and we had the rolls royce take us away afterward. It was exquisite. -

This place is wonderful !!! It is so romantic and peaceful. I could tell my guests enjoyed the ceremony and reception by the compliments I received. Their basic package is splendid and it just gets better with all the upgrades that are available. The spa was available for my use at 10:00 am and my bridesmaids and I took advantage of it. I do regret not starting earlier with my wedding ceremony, the reception didn't last long enough. Everyone was extremely nice and helpful. Debra was wonderful to work with and my coordinator the day of my wedding, Gayle did a superb job. -

I planned my San Diego (Fallbrook) wedding from Japan, with my husband-to-be in Pennsylvania. It was very very hard to plan because I wasn't in the area to plan for the wedding. In my particular case, I relied on the photos Los Willows had online and information from their e-mails to plan for the wedding. Sometimes I wished that the staff would take a few casual photos of the dishes selection, the linen options, the decor options, etc., so that I could decide with more ease what to have at the wedding. It was unfortunate that their response to me asking for those photos was, "We don't have photos we could send you." The day before the wedding my wedding party and I went to the site and found that they had examples right in the office that they could've taken photos of and sent to me via e-mail. That was a bit disappointing. But for most couples, I think, they would be able to go to the office when searching for the right venue anyway. I don't think this would be an issue for most couples.
But other than that I've had good memories with Los Willows. I loved the place the minute I saw it and it is absolutely gorgeous. The guests loved it and were even saying that if they get married they want to have the wedding at Los Willows, too! It meant a lot to me that my guests really appreciated the amazingly beautiful site.
Los Willows is very flexible. You are the only people there. Your wedding is THE wedding for the day. If you ask a special request, chances are they'll grant it.
Los Willows, though, apparently has a contract with a particular caterer. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to have a tasting with them because my flight to the United States was too close to the actual wedding date. My Los Willows wedding planner (who really is just a person to arrange what goes on on the premises only) assured me that the food was good, and that I didn't have to worry. I thought--hey, it's food for a wedding anyway, it has to be good, right? Much to my (and the guests') disappointment, our sit-down dinner was absolutely terrible. The fish we chose to have was hard and dry, the salad was not at all tasteful; the dinner looked as if it was made by a very casual, unprofessional restaurant nobody goes to. My husband complained, and some of our guests complained. Not everything was bad; I think somethings just sounded good but really wasn't good. Perhaps it would've been better if we had chosen a buffet style dinner. But I'm sure it all would have been better if we had had our tastings!!
Los Willows is set up for a DJ. They have a very basic sound system at the ceremony gazebo, but don't have anything for the reception. I didn't want a DJ for my wedding. I wanted to walk down the aisle to a few songs I had on CD, use classical music I had on CD for the cocktail hour, and have a violinist and celloist for part of the reception. It all worked out in the end, but since they had never had anyone not have a DJ there before, their answers as to whether I can use the ceremony sound system for the cocktail hour/reception were quite vague. It turned out, at my wedding, my violinist got caught in traffic and was 30 minutes to an hour late. We had no problem using the ceremony sound system for the cocktail hour and for part of the reception. The three areas are all quite close and it all worked out beautifully in the end. (But they do recommend you have a DJ.)
You can really do a lot at Los Willows. You can have what they call upgrades--unfortunately, they have a lot of what they consider "upgrades." From chairs, linens, cake upgrades, chocolate fountains, ice sculptures, dinner upgrades, a lot. It seems Los Willows is set up so that you can spend a lot of money there. You can even have a Los Willows registry set up (optional) if you want your friends family members pay for your wedding as a gift. You and your husband can spend your wedding night at the Los Willows' estate, which is said to be next to a cascading waterfall. It sounded marvelous. We were going to opt to do this as well, but when we were suddenly asked to pay for plane tickets and hotel costs for my husband's whole side of the family, those upgrades and the night at the Los Willows estate were out of the question.
Overall, I enjoyed my time with Los Willows. It is not quite the best place for a wedding if you are on a very low budget. BUT IT IS ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL. My photos are beautiful and people still ask me where I had my wedding. I loved it. My family loved it. The food, well, could've been better, but the fruit display for the cocktail hour was beautiful and very inviting. The lake at Los Willows is goregous. The ride they provide for the newlyweds on the lake was magical. (You can ask for them to let the guests ride, too, if you choose to pay a little bit extra.)
In conclusion, I would highly recommend Los Willows. The richer the bride, probably the more magical the wedding, BUT, I was a poor bride, and I had a wonderful time there. I love Los Willows. I would love to go there again. -

The venue was beautiful and the grounds very well kept. The boat ride bringing the bride to the dock really set the wedding apart from others we had seen. The tables looked great and everyone we dealt with was very nice. A little confusion here and there at times but overall they were there to get it cleared up. If you are in the area this is a spot that is definitely worth checking out. Way better than a vineyard or golf course. This place was made specifically for weddings. And my wife loved the fact that the restrooms were actual restrooms and not andy gumps or trailers. -

This is a hard review to write. In the end, our wedding was nearly flawless and we loved and enjoyed every minute. We also had a great experience with our day-of coordinator from Los Willows.
That said, when you select a venue and a wedding coordinating team, there is so much more that you are paying for: months and months of planning, logistics, emailing. When I look back on those days and weeks, I often shut my eyes tightly to blink away the stress. If I never have to think about getting an email from Los Willows again, knowing that it would just frustrate or infuriate me, it would be too soon. From issues with the finance team to changes with my coordinator that went uncommunicated for weeks, the planning process was a strain, to say the least. Many times I felt as though I was sold into a gorgeous venue and then forgotten about until "4-6 weeks prior to your wedding date" as that is the language they use to describe when they will be back in touch.
In the end, admittedly, our wedding was gorgeous - but I would have chosen another venue had I know the headache I was in for during the planning process. -

We had our ceremony and reception at Los Willows and it is a beautiful location. They are strict with the rules and don't try to adjust or be flexible with anything. It seems like a lot is included in their packages but we spent way more than we thought because all the things we wanted was not in our package. I would not recommend if you are looking for an all inclusive this isn't the place and they won't budge on any detail or price. -

If you chose to book this venue make sure to read the fine print. I felt like I was overcharged for EVERYTHING. The venue is beautiful but be ready to pay a lot, they will not work with you financially. Also, the rest of my wedding cake (the majority of it) went missing. -

Tread with Caution
This is going to be a long review, but if you are considering getting married at Los Willows I urge you to read it and be fully informed of their practices before risking the most special day of your life.
First I want to make a point that Los Willows is by no means an inexpensive wedding venue, and every little addition is an up-charge, but my husband and I fell in love with the location and atmosphere and we were assured upon booking that they provided everything we could possibly need for our wedding planning and would create a stress free experience given we were planning our wedding from across the country (we live in Ohio). And I would like to note that Liza was great during our touring and booking process.
Leading up to the event, we didn’t have any complaints until about a month before our wedding when I emailed with several questions regarding the catering and some decor options. We fought to get definitive answers, and ultimately had to intentionally delay paying our final balance to encourage some effort. Instead, we were met with emails lacking effort and more importantly, lacking answers to our questions. Finally, we overpaid our balance just to put the ball back in our court, or so we thought. This was knowing that the balance being requested was inaccurate. That was well beyond our obligation at that point, but we wanted to be 100% sure we were holding up our end of the agreement, even if we did not feel that was being reciprocated. This situation added so much stress on top of the typical wedding planning in the final weeks before our big day. The final bill was not agreed upon until the day before the wedding, after our rehearsal. The Banquet Event Order (BEO) was never fully correct even after numerous emails back and forth with our coordinator Jill, even up until the day before the wedding. Can you imagine details not settled the day before your wedding day?
On the day of our wedding, October 16th 2021, I arrived at 9am because we paid extra for the bridal salon. There was a sign for parking for vendors but aside from that there was no other direction from anyone. I didn’t see or hear from a Los Willows staff member until almost 2pm, and only after I walked down to the office/bridal suite myself. My mother arrived to the venue a little before 1:30pm, as I wanted her to be in the bridal salon with me getting ready. She was already running late, so when she got there, she asked a gentleman to cart her to the bridal salon, he told her he couldn’t and walked away. Shortly after she asked another gentlemen, who told her he would but had to get the keys and then disappeared, came back outside without keys and then disappeared again for about 20 minutes. During that time my mother went inside the office to ask if someone could please take her to where her daughter was getting ready and the lady told her she “could walk it and its not that far.” My mother is 74 and has back and heart issues, it was also 92 degrees that day. One of the main reasons we booked with Los Willows is we have several older guests and the ability of shuttling people was important to us. We very specifically asked about the golf carts being available for elderly as needed even before booking. The lady in the office kept insisting it wasn’t a problem for my mother to walk to the salon, and when my mother insisted she couldn't make it she was then told she didn’t need to go up there because the bride and bridesmaids would be coming down to the bridal suite shortly and was repeatedly unaccommodating and rude. Can you imagine your mother trying to get to you on your wedding day and being treated like this? She waited roughly 35 minutes in total in the hot sun before the gentlemen finally came back out and took her to the salon, and he didn’t even help her in or out of the cart. She told him on the spot that if she could give the venue 0 stars she would, and he laughed at her.
We also found out that our 92 year old great aunt was having difficulty finding someone to shuttle her anywhere. And when she finally did get transported, again no one helped her out. She was struggling to get out of the golf cart and two of our wedding guests had to come help her after they saw what was happening.
The stationary appetizer that I added to our package and paid extra for was set off in a corner and half our guests didn’t even know there was a charcuterie board. And the $1000+ spread was extremely lacking; it was not at all what we ordered or saw pictures of. One guest told me it looked like a $60 platter from Costco and couldn't have fed more than 20 people.
We were told by both planners during our process, Jennifer and Jill, that we would for sure have someone come bring us and the wedding party all of the appetizers and popcorn that we paid extra for. This never happened. We each had a couple pieces of spanakopita and shrimp on the boat cruise, but otherwise there was nothing else for us or the wedding party and family at the ceremony site during pictures. Let me also note that my husband's plastic champagne flute on the boat cruise was broken and missing a bottom, so he couldn't put it down and our pictures look ridiculous as a result. Eventually, as pictures were ending and it was only us left, a woman waiter did come with a tray of appetizers, but we were being rushed to prepare for the reception by that time. The venues response was originally that they were understaffed that night, but then they changed their tune and we were told that wasn’t actually true and that they did come and offer appetizers and that it was never promised we would get popcorn.
We had several guests say that the portions were very small on the dinners, and people were still hungry after the event was over. Specifically the vegetarian dish was lacking, and also several said they had barely any green beans on their plate, and small portions of beef. My mother thought the green beans were a garnish for the meat because it was such a small serving. Additionally, some guests mentioned they asked for extra dinner rolls and were told no because they were allowed one roll per person. We were outraged when we heard this. There were also some salad dishes at the table that were not eaten from guests who didn’t show and when guests asked if they could have the extra salad, they were also denied. For the prices we paid per person at this venue no one should've left hungry. Lastly, we were told that the servers would be wearing masks even though there wasn’t a mask mandate for the guests. It was also listed on their google page that the staff wore masks as our wedding was right after a COVID surge. None of the wait staff were wearing masks and several guests were made uncomfortable by this. The venues response was simply that the chef said he gave full portions and that the waiter was incorrect in not allowing extra rolls and food and they’ll “talk to them.” Also they said we didn’t “specifically” request the staff to wear masks so it was our fault they weren’t. As I mentioned, it was all over their website, it was peak COVID, they were serving food AND we were told they would all be wearing masks in our design meetings.
If you think you’re going to get to bring home any extra leftovers or food be assured you won’t with this venue. Every venue we looked at before booking said we’d get all the food we paid for but Los Willows claims its against the law to give leftovers.
Our cake and desserts were delivered in the office to stay in the air conditioning, which we had planned ahead of time since they were delivered at 3pm and it was a hot day, but when we came back from taking our twilight pictures, the cake and desserts still weren’t out. It was almost 8 o'clock at this time. The cake is supposed to be a focal point of a wedding. The dessert table was also supposed to be in the reception area where it was on the floor plan we submitted, but it was in the gazebo outside instead. Additionally, when the desserts and cake were finally put out, not all the desserts were put out, and they were NEVER replenished when they were empty. I looked at the table at one point and saw all the donuts, cake pops and macarons gone and thought, “wow those went quick.” But when we got home that night and opened the box of leftover desserts, we had a ton of cake pops, macarons and donuts in our leftover box. Also, we bought enough wrapped chocolate pretzels for each guest as favors, and we ended up with more than half of the box back when we got home. We were shocked and very disappointed that not only did our guests not have access to what we provided, but that the money we paid for these things was now being wasted. Los Willows claimed that they were not responsible for setting up or replenishing the dessert table and that we “way over bought” desserts and thats why we had so much leftover. We had so many guests say they never got to try any of the desserts so how exactly did we overbuy? And if you are coordinating a wedding how is it not your responsibility to handle the dessert table?
There were so many things that were not put out that we asked for or talked about during planning. Signs, wood crates, Shepard’s hooks and lanterns, reception decor and many other things contracted were never provided. Also some decor we brought was just plainly put in the wrong spot. My mother and I made special gold table runners for the bridal tables, and they were never put out. The easels that the welcome sign and seating chart were on were so short and on the floor, people had to bend over to see or read anything. The catalog says the easels were 5 feet tall. We also did not get the second color uplighting at the reception that was on our BEO either.
We understand we were slightly behind in our time getting ready the day of the wedding, but I was incredibly disappointed that while I was outside taking pictures, guests were being shuttled right passed me. Literally I had to move out of the way several times so the shuttle could drive through a foot in front of me, carrying a bus full of my guests. We don’t understand why the shuttles couldn’t have just been held down at the hill until I had moved or been done with pictures. I was seen by almost every guest before I ever made it down the aisle. If you're a bride, the allure of your grand moment of everyone seeing you for the first time as you walk down the aisle is so important. Even worse, when I was done with pictures, I wasn’t directed by anyone to get back to the bridal suite to make sure I didn’t see my groom. I had to have two of my bridesmaids go make sure he wasn’t outside. And then when everyone lined up to go to the ceremony, I saw him standing right in front of me through the doors of the bridal suite. We were adamant about not wanting a first look and we feel like these logistics could be so much more organized for the cost and claimed expertise of this venue. The venue also blamed us for putting the wrong time on our wedding invitations to explain why the guests saw me and were being shuttled by me. However, the time we put on the invitation was decided on with our Los Willows wedding planners.
My maid of honor spent time practicing my bustle with my seamstress specifically because I had a difficult train, and at the rehearsal she expressed this to our coordinator Jill when Jill had mentioned that she was going to take care of the bustling herself. My maid of honor intervened and said she would bustle, but Jill replied that she was welcome to “help” her when it came time. On the wedding day when it was time to bustle, it was a disaster. I told Jill to find my maid of honor but she proceeded to bustle me anyways. It took so long and we were already behind schedule that Jill insisted I just go out as I was, with an incomplete bustle because it “looked fine.” About 20-30 minutes later my train was dragging all over the place, people were stepping on it, and it was filthy with holes. It also did not photograph well since it wasn’t bustled as intended. At one point, our photographer was even trying to fix the bustle, which took another 20 minutes out of our night. A $4500 dress nearly destroyed. Los Willows claimed they have a policy not to have their staff bustle dresses and were “sorry” that Jill proceeded to intervene but it was only because she’s so diligent in her services. Also that my dress was dirty and destroyed because its the nature of an outside venue, and it was my fault to agreeing to go out with an incomplete bustle. They had an excuse for everything.
I was very specific with Jill at the rehearsal about when I wanted my procession song to start, and was assured the DJ would be cued accordingly. The song wasn’t supposed to start until I was AT the bridge, so that when I got to the doors (that we paid extra for so I had more of a grand entrance illusion) the full song would start and I’d have my moment and grand entrance. However, my song started while I was still at the bottom of the stairs. By the time I got to the doors, the song was almost halfway over, and I was rushing to get down the aisle. Los Willows told us that this should've been communicated and coordinated with the DJ and took no responsibility for ruining my grand entrance. The one moment I was dreaming about the whole wedding planning process. If its not the job of your wedding coordinator to coordinate your wedding then what is the purpose of one?! Also, if you’re going to pay extra for doors, insist at the rehearsal that they practice with them. When we got our wedding video back it was so embarrassing to see them fumbling with the doors and not even open them properly or fully to where my dad almost tripped walking through them.
I really wanted a grand exit with sparklers but the venue has a no sparkler policy, which I understand. But when I asked about cold sparklers they told me absolutely not. So we paid extra again for their pyrotechnic sparklers for our grand exit. Upon getting our pictures and video back, their staff was standing behind the sparklers and photobombing all the footage, pictures and video. I also saw on instagram a couple months after our weeding that a couple who got married at Los Willows used their own sparklers for their exit. When I reached out to the bride she said they were told they could use the cold sparklers. To say I was infuriated is an understatement. We chatted some about her issues with Los Willows as well, of which she had many similar complaints.
Sadly I could go on about even more that went wrong but for the sake of everyone I won’t continue with it all. But in summary, there's no denying Los Willows is a beautiful venue, but aside from that, BEWARE. If you book with them plan on having your own planner and coordinator to make sure things go as you dreamed. I would’ve never imagined spending upwards of $37000 for a wedding and having this kind of customer service from a wedding venue. My husband knew I had spent so much time planning our wedding and had such a vision for what I wanted, as any bride does, and he got to the venue early the day of his own wedding to help and make sure things were as they were supposed to be. He was told by our coordinator he wasn’t allowed to help at all and to enjoy his day. As a host it is incredibly disheartening hearing that your guests were treated badly and that they left hungry or dissatisfied, and as the guests of honor, we felt so much was taken away from our special day.
I would also like to mention, although there is a county noise ordinance for 10pm, do note that this means Los Willows is pushing you out of the venue by 9:30pm with all of your guests quite literally in the parking lot by 10pm. I feel like they could at least end the music and still allow you time with your guests to wind down but that is not the case.
We spent the first 3 months of our married life emailing back and forth with Los Willows trying to make sure this doesn’t happen to another couple and also trying to understand why it happened to us. The venue took responsibility for not providing the charcuterie board we paid for and for not giving us the Shepard's hooks and lanterns and refunded us the small amount of money for those items, but basically dismissed ALL our other claims and concerns with an “I’m sorry and thanks for letting us know” attitude. To be completely transparent we asked for an incredibly reasonable 5% discount from our overall bill and were brushed off with an email from their Director of Operations saying to essentially drop it and move on, and focus on our marriage. To be clear, no amount of money could have righted Los Willows’ wrongs, the damage to our special day was done and could never be repaired, but it would have at least demonstrated some accountability and class on their part. Our last communication with them we made it fully known that we would be leaving a detailed review, and here it is.-

Beautiful location but not good to work with
First, we’ll point out the good stuff to be fair. The venue is gorgeous and well maintained as you see when you visit in person. It has great features and looks beautiful in photos. Also, the day of coordinator that the venue provided and event staff were fantastic and nice to work with. Our personal coordinator was impressed with them as well. The reasons we do not recommend this venue has nothing to do with how my daughter’s wedding turned out in the end but everything to do with management, sales and ownership. First, it is very clear they are only in it for the money and really don’t have a passion for the families they serve. With the unfortunate circumstances caused by COVID-19 this year, it was nobody’s fault and yet Los Willows was unwilling to compromise and showed no compassion for the couple or our family. They wanted to make sure they weren’t negatively impacted and all the hardship fell on us. After rescheduling twice already we said we would not reschedule again, since my daughter and her husband just wanted to move on with their lives. However, even with the uncertainty on when they would be allowed to have events again, their manager Lynne insisted they would not cancel but only reschedule. I mean how many times can you expect someone to reschedule their wedding? In the end we were basically forced to have a wedding that we didn’t even feel the health officials and government would approve. It was a fight to get the guest count under 100 because we didn’t feel comfortable having that many and so many were coming from out of town and couldn’t travel. So when it came down to finally having the wedding we ended up stuck paying for many people that weren’t there, due to their greediness and unwillingness to compromise. Also, even though we were told we could use vendors to make up our guest count that did not end up being the case because they reneged on that offer. It was so unfortunate that a beautiful and memorable day had to be tainted by such bad experiences dealing with their office staff. In a time we should all be working together and trying to make a difficult time less stressful, Los Willows FAILED. -

Not Impressed
Very disappointed with this venue. My fiancé and I booked it initially, but then we had to cancel due to an unforeseen circumstance that conflicted with our chosen date. This change was only a few days after we booked it. They refused to refund any of our deposit, even though we had not done anything besides take the short tour of the facility. They showed no empathy for our situation, and left us with a $2,500 loss. This venue has ZERO flexibility and I only recommend them if you are certain on the date. -

TERRIBLE terrible terrible
Read the fine print! After one tour and a closed venue they kept our down payment of $2500 saying it was not an act of good but instead an unforeseen event. Be careful!!! -

The venue is beautiful, however be careful of the hidden costs! These costs will be presented to you as you are getting closer to your wedding date! We requested an open bar for our guests, and they served luke warm beer, they didn't have half half for any of their drinks, they didn't have any of the liquor we requested to have, the bartender was rude to our guests and they did not continue the bar for four hours, they started charging my guests after 3 hours because the bartender informed my guests that after three hours, they needed to charge for drinks, not based on consumption, but rather on time. They did not inform us of this policy, in fact they told us the bar would be fully serviced for four hours! We went for a food and cake tasting and it was delicious, however, at the ceremony, the cake was so hard that it taste like it had been baked 6 months earlier! Good Luck if you are using this vendor! Make sure you get everything in writing and you request a final balance when you book this venue, if you don't want to end up paying $8000 one month before your wedding date! -
