    Amazingly breathtaking for my taste!

    This venue worked out perfectly for our wedding, and the staff was amazing! No hassle, staff available for us when needed, and mgt handled anything we needed, and made us feel like they were totally there for us! Pricing was reasonable for our budget, and I wouldn’t have changed a thing!

    They were so wonderful to work with and so flexible. There ended up being a lot of traffic the day we had our rehearsal luncheon and they let the kitchen know and told us not to worry and moved the food back 30 minutes to give everyone time to get there. They made us feel like we were the only ones in the restaurant. There was never a moment when we didn't have someone there to help us, but more often then not they were so on top of things that we didn't have any needs. Everything was perfect!!

    You can not beat the price of a wedding here! I had my wedding & reception in the garden and everything turned out exactly how I imagined. I was able to decorate as I pleased and the workers who set up the tables/chairs were very friendly. Vicki was also awesome! I love looking back at my pictures and recommend this place to anyone getting married.

    Vicki at Los Vaqueros is the sweetest person you will ever meet. She did an amazing job for our wedding and worked with our budget. We received so many compliments on how delicious all the food was for the reception and cocktail hour. You definitely get more than you pay for with Los V!

    Great location for a wedding! Had a little trouble getting a hold of the wedding planner at the place and did not receive everything that was promised (which were little things), but overall amazing! Such a GREAT value and friendly staff!

    Good value- but at a cost

    Great value, food alcohol, set up was all handled. Easy-to-use. No pressure selling.
    Cons: didn't not return calls until 2 weeks to the wedding. Did what they wanted for the dessert, not what was asked. But with less than 2 weeks to spare they got it all handled and the guests had a great time.

    The garden was perfect for all the kids to hang out and be kids without getting in the way of the adults.

    The owner runs all wedding events- a very nice lady. We had our reception in the garden behind the restaurant which is beautiful in itself! It was difficult to get into contact with the owner at times and I feel promises were made that weren't followed through with but no big hiccups! Guests were pleased with the food and enjoyed the night even of it did end up freezing. ;)

    The food was good, fair priced, and the room was well decorated and set up nicely. I am HIGHLY allergic to lemons and limes and made many requests there be NONE there. At the reception there was a bowl of their pico de gaio that contained lime juice on our buffet line. I repeatedly asked the waitresses to remove the bowl from the room altogether and they did not understand and only moved it until I was out of line, putting it back later. Luckily I did not eat later because as I feared, the pico de gaio spilled over to the rest of the food, causing me to be allergic to everything. My relatives could also not give me kisses anywhere near my mouth or else I would have had to go to the ER in a wedding gown. Do not book if you are allergic to foods and don't speak Spanish.

    Worst Experience of My Life

    I got married back in April. Its been 5 months and I still cry about how horrible my wedding was. Not only did the "event coordinator" not show up, but she just failed to get anything done. She seems like such a nice woman but she never went to my rehearsal dinner or my wedding day. I highly recommend hiring a REAL wedding planner or event planner if you have your wedding here but in my opinion this place is not a proper place for a wedding. I got ready in a nasty restroom and they never put up a sign so I had so many people walk in on me while I was dressing. Then we still had to pack up all our stuff and take it to the car because they said we couldn't leave it there, as it was still supposed to be a fictional restroom for the rest of the restaurant. Everything just went horribly wrong and I had no one there to help me work things out except for one person she had show up to help who I had never met before. She did the best she could but was just not familiar with anything that was planned. I been depressed ever since that day. It was an embarrassment in front of my entire family and even though they discounted a decent amount off the venue, it still doesn't undue the damage that was done on what was supposed to be one of the most best days of my life. I drive by the place and get upset all over again. I cry just as I'm writing this. Please don't make the same mistake I made. Make you hire people you can trust. And make sure they actually show up for you. Good luck to those reading.

    Wedding reception

    Imagine this scenario on your wedding day that you paid your down payment 11 months in advance. We show up to our reception with guests waiting to even enter the reception room. Neither of the special event coordinators were there to greet us. Disorganized and chaos. We were told we would be served first as the bride and groom. We pre-ordered a keg and multiple bottles of wine plus a set bar amount. The bartender tells us we couldn't have ordered a keg because they don't do that. I had to go out to the car to get all my paperwork to show them what we pre-ordered with the owner/so-called event coordinator. I spent the first 15 minutes arguing about our alcohol order. In the meantime, no food is served. My sister and I had to find the manager that told us he had only been manager 3 weeks and didn't know what was going on. We find out from another employee that a party of 19 was being served before our reception of 110 people. We finally get servers to give out chips and salsa. When we finally get our food, the food is cold and the food is served an hour late due to other people parties and one of the special event coordinators shows up to our room after an hour to apologize saying she was at another wedding on site and didn't know about our reception!!
    My vegetarian guests, including MY daughter who was in the wedding party, didn't get their food for almost an hour and a half after the buffet line actually started. We had no one serving our guests for the first 20 minutes. They prioritized the outside wedding over our reception. Toward the end of the reception, the manager comes and says he has to talk to the owner, Vicki, which is who we had given all of our requests to, and they would bill us later instead of the end of the night. Two months later, Vicki, the owner/special events coordinator sends me an email apologizing and provides us the invoice which is still inadequate considering I spent the entire reception trying to get my own guests fed, tracking down people in charge and being upset on my wedding night. A bartender from the main restaurant part brought me a tequila shot to calm me down. That was insulting and I told her a tequila shot wasn’t going to fix all their screw ups on our special day or get my daughter fed. It was completely disorganized and terrible wedding reception. I’m still mad two months later.
    Being emailed TWO MONTHS later with an apology and invoice is insulting. We will pay our invoice because we are not free-loaders but I will NEVER give a word of kindness to Vicki the owner/so-called event coordinator for ruining my wedding reception. I don't recommend booking any large special events at this restaurant. BEWARE!
