Amanda, the owner, knows the ins and outs of the wedding dress industry and she makes her shop intimate and special. I felt comfortable with her and she makes great suggestions and asks great questions to help guide you through. This was the first shop I went to and I tried on a variety of dresses. I ended up finding THE ONE and am so pleased. Highly recommend if you want to have the shop to yourself with you loved ones and have a relaxing time! -

I cannot say enough wonderful things about working with Amanda and how lovely Lorien Bridal is. Upon walking in the door my inner nerd girl squealed at how many nods and touches and all-out tributes to the things that make my nerdy heart happy. Amanda was so easy to work with, she listened to what I wanted, what I didn't want, and most importantly my budget. I had been to 6 other bridal salons and hadn't found "the one", and I was feeling a little desperate. As a plus-size bride it can be hard to shop for dresses. Amanda never made me feel like my options were limited by my size, in fact, she made sure I knew my options were only limited by my dreams. The dress I ended up purchasing is the first dress she pulled for me, it was absolutely incredible. I felt incredible and my husband adored the dress. Thank you Amanda! -

The Most Wonderful and Whimsical Experience
Amanda definitely made this appointment. She was incredibly helpful and thorough. Her knowledge of wedding dresses (style, fit, alterations, etc) was extremely beneficial and my party and I truly valued her expertise.
The shop is beautiful and whimsical which truly made for a magical experience.
I found the perfect dress and could not be more happy with the experience. -

Amazing Experience
Amanda was a huge help in getting my dress!
The selection of dresses in the store has a fantastic variety, and the decor is a very fun and comfortable vibe. Trying on dresses was super easy, Amanda gave great input and advice, and ordering was a breeze once I found the dress.
When I had questions about what lining color to order she sent me pictures and pulled some dresses with the linings for me to come by and see in person. She helped with cost effective options and genuinely cared that I was comfortable with my pick.
Compared to my experience at Lorien, the other bridal shops I went to first were pushy, over done, uncomfortable, princess nightmares. If you want to try on dresses somewhere relaxing and fun with someone who will give you an honest opinion, asks the right questions, and who treats you like an adult, I can't recommend Lorien enough! -

In style, inclusive, and out of the world
I had the most fabulous time here! I found my dream dress - the first one I tried on, but all of the ones in Lorien I could have totally worn down the aisle.
Amanda made me feel at home, like I’ve been at that store tons of time in the past. It takes all the drama you want to feel in wearing the most incredible day of your life, but never any of the drama that makes you feel on edge in formalwear boutiques.
Amanda really takes into account every range of fashion senses - you can find any dress here. The dresses are also very budget-friendly without every sacrificing quality. It was a super fun, relaxed experience.
The dress I found feels more like “me” than any other outfit I’ve ever worn in my 27 years. -

Great overall experience, not just another appointment
Lorien had such a diverse collection of dresses it was a dream to shop there. When booking my appointment I had a specific dress I wanted to try on. Amanda went out of her way to ensure she had it in store for my appointment. From start to finish the appointment was fantastic. Amanda provided suggestions and helped me pull some beautiful options to try to ensure I really found The One. The dress she ordered in ended up being the winner and amanda suggested I custom order the length to save me time and money in alternations (much appreciated)! I had a tight deadline to pick up my dress ( I live on the east coast and was flying in just for that) and when Amanda found out it may not arrive in time she worked her magic with the manufacturer to ensure it was there when my flight landed. From start to finish Amanda made finding and picking up my dress an experience, and not just another appointment. -

Lorien Bridal Boutique should be your first (and last) stop! Amanda was AMAZING, even right from my very first email inquiry. She was so helpful and knowledgeable. She asks all the right intuitive questions to really dig your dream dress out of you. I had my mind kind of set on one dress I had previously tried, but by the end of my appointment I walked out with something completely different and I couldn't be happier. I am still beaming from the experience. Aside from the amazing customer service, she also has a wide variety of really fun and unique gowns and accessories that you won't find elsewhere. Also, a very body positive and LGBTQIA+ friendly space, which is really awesome -

I am completely blown away by this shop and it's owner Amanda. She delivers truly personalized care and attention to every appointment. Kind, funny, professional, and non judgemental. I didn't even have to pick a single dress myself because she understood EXACTLY what I was looking for. This place is a haven for nerdy brides, fantasy lovers, and everyone who doesn't feel right in the cookie cutter bridal shops. The best bridal dress shopping experience a girl could ever ask for!!!! Honestly, I was procrastinating a tad when it came to looking for my dress, but upon messaging the shop owner, Amanda, my fears/ procrastination turned into excitement! I checked out a few other places, but saved Lorien for last. During covid, they were only accepting one appointment at a time & cleaning after every appt., which was really important for me and my guests. And it made the appointment extremely personal! Lorien is a smaller shop with a well curated selection of QUALITY gowns in all different sizes, AND at affordable prices! I am not joking, when my bridesmaids and I saw the detailing on these dresses, we were DEAD! And yes- all different sizes! I didn’t actually have to lose 30 lbs before trying on dresses, because they had my size (+ more), and every dress made me feel magical ❤️ Lastly, the themed rooms? So cute! Don’t hesitate to try on some fun props too! Definitely not your typical bridal gown shop, yet still so elegant and whimsical. I am so ecstatic to say I said “yes to the dress”, and promise you will too! “This is the way.”- The Mandalorian -

I first discovered Lorien Bridal Boutique on Instagram. Despite residing in San Diego, I immediately knew I needed to drive up to Los Angeles County and get my dress from this boutique. The boutique owner, Amanda, did not disappoint! I would first like to start off by saying it is one of the most beautiful bridal shops I have ever seen. There are four dressing areas with Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter, Star Wars, and Disney Princess themes, and you'll spot some Doctor Who, Sherlock, and Chronicles of Narnia there too! Amanda is such an amazing person. When I came in with my mother and mother-in-law, she gave me a basic overview of the who dress choosing process and then let me choose a couple gown off the racks, encouraging me to choose some I liked but wasn't too sure of as well. While I tried on each gown, she would tell me what each style of gown accentuated, gave me accessory options for each gown, and always asked what I liked about a dress and what I didn't like. After trying on each dress and thinking I found a good option, she brought out one more dress that she felt had everything I liked about the other dresses all in one. And THAT dress was the one. Amanda has an eye for detail and an ear for her brides. My favorite thing about my dress experience with her was that she really tried to help me stick with my budget, she didn't just try to get the biggest sale. I never felt pressured to make a decision I didn't want to, and she made the whole experience literally so magical. Flash forward to two weeks before wedding day, there was a shipping mishap that happened with the veil I also purchased from Amanda. Ultimately, the veil made it to me, and although there was no fault on her part, Amanda went above and beyond and came up with a backup plan to make sure I would have the veil I chose on my wedding day. Again, I live in San Diego and made the 2 hour (sometimes 3 hours thanks to traffic) drive to get to Lorien Bridal! It is SO worth it! -

Looking for the ultimate say yes to the dress moment?
I had only gone to one store before Lorien before deciding to buy a dress from here. Lorien gave me such a great experience. Everything from the ambiance, to the tiny details and references found in the store, and finally the reasonable pricing of the dresses. I reached out to Amanda on Instagram and she was able to set up an appointment with me and followed up with me to confirm the appointment. Although most of my guests were running late, my bridesmaid and I to pick out some dresses. Some boutiques don't allow you to do that, which made the experience a lot more fun. Not only that, my guests and I were the only people in the store, making wedding dress shopping a fun, memorable, and individualized experience that I will cherish.
She made sure to ask about my budget, making sure to stick to the lower end of it. She asked me questions about what I liked and didn't like in the dresses I tried on from the day before at a different store. In addition, she was extremely helpful. I had no idea wedding dresses had to be put on a certain way and she immediately fixed that. I had gone to a store before this and was not given any guidance at all.
Towards the end of the appointment, I was stuck on two dresses. Both were around the same price point, with similar shapes but different sleeves. She gave me some guidance again and showed me how the dress affected where it sat on my waist, which ultimately ended my indecisiveness.
For those of you who are on the fence about visiting this place, please do so! She is a great and friendly stylist who will not pressure you and will help you find your dress for your special day. My siblings and friends enjoyed coming as well and will want to come here for their own wedding someday.
My only advice for those who are planning a visit is to park in the Exchange Parking Lot (115 Artsakh Ave, Glendale, CA 91206). It's parid parking and only a short walk to the boutique from there, but it was pretty cheap. -

Lorien Bridal feels peaceful and welcoming; spacious and cozy at the same time. Amanda stocks a wide range of gorgeous gowns and really gives you time to explore and discover, before skillfully guiding you to the *perfect* gown for your personal style. She listens carefully, asks questions, and goes above and beyond to personalize the experience for each bride. I feel so fortunate to have found this lovely, special place and to be able to call myself a Lorien Bride. -

I had a really great experience here. Amanda was absolutely wonderful. She was respectful of my budget and most of the dresses in her shop were very reasonable. The selection was great, I easily found several dresses I wanted to try. I was the only bride shopping so I had her full attention. After listening to what I liked and didn’t liked about each dress, she pulled the dress I ended up picking. It’s not what I thought I’d get, but it was the most flattering and it will be perfect for my wedding day. -

We found my daughter's dress here. Great selection of gowns. Amanda is charming and helpful - no pressure. Her bridal salon is a floral fantasyland. We took a few photos of my daughter in her gown in the store. They are so lovely with the beautiful flowering trees in the background. We highly recommend Lorien Bridal. -

Absolutely amazing!
I had such an amazing experience here! The boutique alone is so cute! Each station is themed, I was in the Disney Princess area which was perfect because I am obsessed with all things Disney and also had amazing lighting! They also had a Star Wars section which was crazy because my Fiancé and I LOVE Star Wars! I didn't even know the shop was like this and it made my experience even more amazing! The dresses were so beautiful and had a good range of different styles and most importantly had the dress I had been looking for! Amanda was so amazing and so sweet! She made me feel so special and beautiful and did fun little things that were catered to me! 100000% Recommend going here! -

So excited that I found Lorien!! I'm actually a bridal stylist, but knew my dream dress wasn't at my bridal showroom so I searched for other awesome bridal salons! Luckily, I stumbled upon Lorien on WW and knowing that I wanted to look like a sexy, fairy queen...I knew I had to visit this nerdy, fantasy bridal wonderland lol. Amanda's shop is so gorgeous and colorful and you can tell she put so much time, effort, and creativity into her shop and all the little details that make it special and unique! I actually visited Lorien 3 times lol, 1st time just to confirm what dresses and styles I liked, 2nd time came back for a specific dress and ended up falling in love with a totally different dress lol, 3rd time came back to officially say yes to my dream dress! For all 3 appointments, Amanda was super helpful, patient, fun, and so sweet! 10/10 please visit and enjoy her shop, support her, have a great time and find your dream dress!! 👰🏽♀️ -

Amanda was AMAZING!!!!!! I tried looking for dresses online (because I don't like trying things on) and hated everything I saw. when I googled bridal shops in my area, I stumbled across Lorien and loved how nerd-friendly, body-friendly, and budget-friendly it was. Even with Covid restrictions, Amanda made the experience feel personal and magical. The second dress I tried on was the one (though I still tried on like 8 or 10 total). I love that all the dresses aren't WHITE white, as I'm not really a traditional kind of bride. I went from dreading wearing a dress to being ecstatic about it. And I love knowing that I got my dress at a businesswoman-owned shop and not some big snobby corporate-owned warehouse. AMANDA IS MY SAVIOR. -

The best bridal boutique in LA
My mom and I had an amazing time looking for the perfect wedding dress at Lorien. We have scoured 7 highly rated bridal shops in LA and Amanda gave us the most personalized and fun experience. She is attentive and very patient. We felt how much she genuinely loves to help brides in finding the right dress. Her store is charming and welcoming. I did not find the dress on my first visit at her store so I went to a bigger store the next day to try on more dresses, and there I found one that I liked but not really in love with. I called Amanda to set-up another appointment the next day to try-on the dresses I tried before to see how I feel about them and to maybe see other dresses. I got there and I showed Amanda the dress that I liked from the big store, and then the magic happened, I am wearing the wedding dress of my dreams! I finally found the one. It was perfect. Everything I have ever asked and dreamed of. What a wonderful experience. I would absolutely recommend Lorien 110% to any other brides-to-be out there. If you’re looking for a stylist who truly cares about what you want and will work with you patiently, Lorien is the place to be. -

Fabulous Boutique
Lorien Bridal Boutique was the very first boutique I visited it is absolutely amazing! It’s a fun, sweet and whimsical environment with some seriously beautiful dresses ❤️ Amanda (the owner) is so sweet, very knowledgeable about all things bridal and dresses. She was so amazing, patient and helpful during my dress try-on process. My group and I had such a fun time, and yes, I said “yes” to the dress!! I said yes to the dress yesterday at Lorien and I wouldn’t have it any other way! I am the most indecisive person and even after finding my dress at Lorien I still wanted to shop around at other stores to be sure SURE, Amanda was so patient, so understanding, so helpful, and supportive the whole time! Never once felt pressured or got a salesperson vibe from her. Amanda and her magical boutique are gems! Know that when you shop here you really are in good hands with someone who genuinely wants to help you find your dream gown that you are going to look and feel amazing in. Where do I begin? This boutique is absolutely stunning and every nerds dream! Even if you aren’t a big nerd the shop is very intimate and utterly gorgeous. Amanda is absolutely fantastic and attentive to your every need. I had two appointments and even when my family was stressing me out Amanda was there reassuring me and helping me laugh. She just genuinely seems to love helping and her pricing is so affordable and budget friendly.

I went to this shop, first because of the amazing reviews, and also because my fiancé loves lord of the rings. Also because she stayed open and worked with my schedule! I had already been to three different shops, so I had an idea of what I wanted. My biggest issue with shopping so far was that I wasn’t happy with my body(it’s the Covid-19 lbs) in anything. I told this to Amanda and she knew exactly what I would like and what would flatter me. Before we arrived she had already viewed my venue online, so she also knew what would work with my wedding’s style!First we walked around the shop and she let me pull dresses of her racks. There were so many gorgeous dresses that I had to stop myself at nine! The shop is very Covid safe and we were the only ones in the store. The dressing rooms were clean, large and Amanda was very helpful when I was putting my gowns on. With every dress I tried on she took mental note of what I liked and what my bride tribe liked as well. From there she would give advice on what dresses I didn’t need to try on, or what she wanted me to wear next. Honestly, every single dress I tried on was gorgeous and I would have been happy with any! I ended up finding a dress I absolutely loved. She added to the experience by sprinkling in some exciting things at the very end (that I don’t want to spoil for you!).
Now the shop is nerdy themed which I absolutely loved! I chose the Harry Potter room to try dresses on. But there was a Star Wars room, Disney princess room, and more. Each room was stylishly designed and very tasteful! Also, I had my bridesmaid with me who was not big in the nerdy theme, but still thought the shop was adorable. I could go on and on and on about Amanda, but just know she is so sweet, helpful, intuitive and knowledgeable! She really has a passion for bridal gowns and accessories. I am so so thankful for her. She was also patient with me even though I was at the shop for THREE HOURS!

Lorien Bridal is such a magical dress shop, and Amanda (the owner) is a gem! Most of my family and bridal party are out-of-state so I wanted to involve them virtually and Amanda was so helpful in accommodating me and my entourage in making it feel like a real in-person bridal dress shopping experience.
The experience itself was amazing! Amanda was warm, welcoming, fun, and knowledgeable—not to mention a wiz with those dress clips! I felt comfortable with her instantly. She listened to what I liked, gave me different options to try, and her expertise led me to choose a dress that I would’ve never thought to choose myself and ABSOLUTELY LOVE.
Above all, Amanda is so transparent with the dress shopping process and is willing to go above and beyond to help her brides, and answer all of their questions and quell any anxieties. Logistically, the shop is relatively easy to get to AND there’s a parking lot that’s free for the first 90 minutes so no worries there. If you’re looking for both a unique, personal, and pleasant shopping experience, Lorien Bridal is the place to go. Amanda made the entire process so easy and fun, and I’m thrilled to be a Lorien bride! -

My first and only stop!
I am so glad this was my first stop to try on wedding dresses! I had a feeling as soon as I came across Lorien Bridal Boutique online that I just NEEDED to go there first.
Amanda was so quick in responding to me and getting my appointment set up. She was very sweet and gave me all the info I needed to be ready for my appointment. The shop itself is so gorgeous and whimsical and so unlike any other shops I saw online. It was exactly my style!
Amanda definitely knows what she’s doing and she made me feel so comfortable and relaxed during the fittings. She listened to me about what I liked and didn’t like and it really showed! She was professional, but not stuffy, she really made me and my family feel welcome and she wasn’t rushing us out the door or pushing us to buy a dress (even though I did because yay! I found the one!).
I can’t wait to go back when my dress comes in so I can spend a little more time in this gorgeous boutique! Highly, highly recommend any bride to go here! Especially if you want an amazing experience for your first time trying on dresses -

UNBEATABLE Wedding dress experience and boutique
Lorien is absolutely REMARKABLE. Amanda has done the most incredible job of creating a unique, themed bridal boutique that delivers all you can imagine and more. The shop is impeccably decorated with countless favorite fandoms down to each minute detail - she hasn’t missed a thing!! I won’t mention all the details because GO SEE FOR YOURSELF! You will not regret it. Not only is it beautiful, whimsical, magical and perfect inside - but Amanda herself is a saint. She is so knowledgeable and helpful with the dresses and helping you find your perfect style (that you may not have expected!) while staying in budget - and has such an eye for what brings out the best in you. She is amazing at her job!! She was so helpful every step of the way and even talked me down when I was overthinking and indecisive. You do not feel like just a number in a sea of brides, and she is so respectful of budget and whatever wishes you have. I am so happy to say I said yes to the dress here and am over the moon with my choice!! Can’t recommend going here enough!! ❤️❤️❤️ I would give her 10 stars if I could. -

THIS PLACE IS THE BEST. Amanda was so personable, attentive, and sweet. Lorien was right up our alley. Harry Potter, Star Wars, Disney, Lord of the Rings - you name it - she has everything. I feel so lucky to have been here with my best friend who ended up choosing her DREAM DRESS (and might I add, it was under budget). Thank you for the experience, Amanda. I am completely and utterly blown away by Amanda and her bridal shop! This store is truly a hidden gem in Glendale! Other bridal shops made me feel like I was just a number in their attempt to get me in and out as fast as they can, while taking as much money as possible.
I am happy to report that Amanda's service is so personal and relaxed, I actually ENJOYED my time there. I didn't feel any pressure to purchase anything the same day. She also takes the time to actually understand your style, while ensuring you and your entourage are having fun.
The prices are also reasonable. Other stores in Glendale, seem to have wedding dresses starting at $5,000 and that's so excessive (in my opinion). At Amanda's store, the dresses I liked ranged from $1,200 to $1,700.
The dresses and accessories are also GORGEOUS! There are styles for everyone: if you want plunging neckline, modest, lace, shimmer, layers, romance, classic...it's all there!
The store itself is absolutely adorable and tugs at my inner nerd. If you love Disney Princesses, Star Wars, Lord of The Rings, or Harry Potter, you will LOVE this store's ambiance. It is like stepping into an enchanted forest, and Amanda is your fairy godmother.
I am so happy I stumbled upon this place.
I said YES TO THE DRESS and I'm so darn pleased with the whole experience! Can you tell!?!
