Loren Hansen.... Oh my gosh... Where to even start?! This beautiful lady is seriously THE. BEST. EVER!!! Our important day literally would not have been possible without her. We hired her for our engagement photos first, which were beyond stunning. Then lucked out and were able to snag her again for our wedding. She started the day bright and early at my Air BNB - naturally I was incredibly anxious getting ready for such an important day, and I cannot express enough how COMFORTABLE she made me feel. She is sooo easy going, and it never felt like a stuffy photo shoot. She was just casually taking beautiful & professional photos without disrupting us at all. Then she drove to the venue and snagged pics of the venue, vendors setting up, my husband-to-be getting ready with his parents, etc. Then of course the ceremony, friends & family, the couple, then the party. I mean, she was with us for 10 hours. She works her bootie off and it SHOWS. We had 80 guests at our wedding and she managed to get a photo of every single person. Perfect combination of staged & in the moment shots. If you don't hire Loren you are making a HUGE mistake. I would seriously consider her one of my friends at this point. She made such an impact and is just such an amazing human being. 20 OUT OF 5 STARS!! LOVE YOU LOREN!!Loren Hansen Photography's reply:

Loren was such a joy to work with as our wedding photographer. We had a range of people we were working with from caterers, wedding coordinator, etc. and she by far had the best communication and quickly aligned with what we were looking for in a photographer.
She captured our day in such a beautiful and effortless way - she was present in all the special moments but we never noticed she was around. She seamlessly blended into the party and was quick to capture moments that we will remember forever.
We can’t wait for another opportunity to work with Loren and highly recommend her if you are looking for a trusted and talented photographer to capture your special day.

We hired Loren for our rustic wedding on the Mendocino Coast. She did a fantastic job and we couldn't have been happier with our decision to hire Loren. She was a great communicator, easy to work with, flexible, professional, and an all around lovely person. We love her photos from the weekend and she inspired some great shots of us laughing and having fun that day. She has our highest recommendation! -

Highly Recommend Loren for Your Special Day!
Loren photographed, and helped me extensively plan, a surprise engagement for my fiancée at Turnbull Cellars. She provided outstanding service through planning, photography, editing - and everything in between!
Loren and I had an initial consultation and she conducted a reconnaissance session at the winery, with the assistance of the Turnbull staff (who were also amazing!). She shared very detailed notes with a suggested location for the proposal on the property. She expertly captured the emotion of my fiancée upon presentation of the ring, and we held a modest photo shoot around the winery. Loren shared approximately 115 expertly edited photos - all of which we feel truly fortunate to help us remember the moment. I also felt Loren's pricing was reflective of her value and competitive in the market.
Loren is wonderfully natured and exceeds expectations to make your event special. She helped me manage the pressure of the event through meticulous planning and reassuring demeanor. I highly recommend Loren for helping capture any of your precious moments!Loren Hansen Photography's reply:

Loren is truly amazing at her job. Clear communication, perfect coordination day-of, and INCREDIBLE results. I've not only heard from several people, "these are the best wedding photos I've ever seen" but I've also heard from several guests "your photographer was amazing and made me feel so comfortable." Can't recommend someone more. -

Out of all the decisions that went into planning our wedding, having Loren as our photographer was hands-down one of the best choices we made. Her calm and warm energy, combined with an amazing eye for the most joyful, sentimental, and whimsical moments made it easy for us (and our families!) to relax, knowing that Loren was going to capture it all!! We hired Loren for our engagement photos and our two-day wedding weekend, and she knocked it out of the park at every. single. event!!! We will cherish these memories and her work for years and years to come. If you’re even thinking about hiring Loren to document your special occasion - DO IT!! You won’t be disappointed. -

Wow. Where do I even start. Loren is seriously an epic photographer, I will never hire anyone else. She not only has the skills to take beautiful photos, but I have never seen myself and fiancé look so good! We gave Loren some very harsh conditions to work under and she helped us have such a blast taking them. Just FYI, we are repeat customers- we have hired her for our wedding photos in 2023 and I done several family shoots with her as well. My family raves about how much fun she makes the process.
When I was planning our engagement photos, I looked at Elizabeth Glad’s (https://instagram.com/elizabethgadd?igshid=YmMyMTA2M2Y=) epic self portraits that showed the colors, beauty, and landscape. Made a Pinterest board and showed Loren. A bit of inspiration really helps you and the photographer see what your looking to capture.
My fiancé and I are very outdoories people and I really wanted to have our love for nature come though our engagement photos. That is one of the things that brings us together! We presented Loren with a very difficult challenge: winter, Northern California, rain, low light in the redwoods, and add in some wind. You get the idea, we’re not in a studio with a green screen.
Well our jaws dropped. Please look at our photos. She made us look like we were a romance book cover. The landscape was captured absolutely perfect, in more details then I could ever remember. The scale was perfect for us, we wanted to show how big nature and how much we love each other and this place. But she also got soooo many beautiful close ups that capture us perfectly.
Besides nature always doing her beautiful thing, I need help with posing and being comfortable in front of the camera. Loren gave us such good directions on what to do while posing, and we pretty much laughed the entire time. My fiancé even kept saying how much fun he was having! Yup! That’s when you know you hired the write person to make taking photos fun!
Our families, our friends and we are completely stunned at the collection of photos we got out of the shoot. We are having a hard time trying to figure out which one is our favorite, because there are so many!Loren Hansen Photography's reply:

Loren is the best!
We absolutely love Loren's work and her fun personality! As wedding planners at Piper & Sloan, we continue to send our clients her way because she has a such a beautiful way of capturing all the emotion and connection between couples. She keeps them laughing and enjoying every moment, offers great artistic direction while keeping things loose, and makes it so much fun to work with her! Loren did an incredible job with the photography at our civil wedding at the Marin County Civic Center! We didn't have a great plan in terms of family photos vs. couples photos and Loren did a very tactful and very artistic job of herding our family members around so we could get all the permutations and combinations we needed. She had a great vision in terms of spots at the civic center to photograph and it was so easy to get her booked and meet her at the site day-of.
We love looking at the photos that we framed and now display in our living room front and center. I would highly recommend Loren as an awesome photographer to work with!Loren Hansen Photography's reply:

We hired Loren as she has consistently done great work throughout Sonoma County, not just as a wedding photographer but in so many other ways as well. Her versatility and keen eye for aesthetics allows her to use her broad skillset to capture moments that are genuine, unique and timeless.
On top of all of this, Loren is so friendly with a sense of humor that always puts you at ease. Our wedding day was really special, and Loren did an incredible job of taking photos that were not only beautiful, but captured the essence of the love, joy, and celebration that we and our guests felt that day.

Loren is incredible at what she does! From our proposal, to our special day, to our maternity shoot….she was able to capture the most special moments for our family in the most beautiful way. Her attentiveness to detail, down to earth personality, and warm energy are unmatched. She has this unique ability to make the awkward posed photos light and fun and her use of angles and lighting to create special candid photos is just simply amazing! We cannot thank her enough for the stunning photos that we get to cherish for years to come.
