  Most epic wedding dance party thanks to DJ Lord Easy!!!

  I hired Joel per the recommendation from my cousin who told me that he throws the most incredible parties and that I wouldn't regret it. She was not wrong!!
  
  Joel was extremely kind and responsive from our first phone conversation through the day of the wedding. I was planning the wedding from across the country which proves difficult at times, and I had a big 240 person wedding with parents who can be very hard to please. They were nervous that I had decided to go with someone who isn't from one of those huge DJ companies that churns out 5 weddings every weekend, but after sitting down to meet with Joel in NYC one afternoon during the planning process (he traveled all the way from NJ to meet with us which was so amazing), my parents were totally won over. Joel wowed them with his awesome personality and knowledge of disco music (which was their main concern...ha!), and we were good to go!!
  
  The spreadsheet/doc that Joel shared was super helpful and fun to fill out in the months leading up to the wedding. I turned it into a google doc and would pull it out any time I was out dancing and a banger came on, to make sure I had all of my favorite dance tunes on there for him to riff off of. Def recommend this method for other people who are struggling to remember which songs get them on the dance floor!! :P
  
  The day of the wedding was just incredible, it's kind of hard to put it into words. The ceremony music worked beautifully, and we had a kind of specific vision for the cocktail hour (tropical/tiki music to fit the vibe of our venue) which Joel knocked out of the park. The reception was incredible: Joel did a great job introducing the parties and was the perfect balance of "present" as an MC without being in your face and trying to hype the crowd. There was an INSANE CONGA LINE which was possibly my favorite moment of the evening, but most importantly, there was really never a dull moment or a lull. There was a lot of up and down during our seated dinner wedding, but thanks to Joel's skill and ability to read the crowd, people were up and dancing for every single dance set. I also heard that we had to delay our introductions into the hall because people were already dancing immediately upon entering the dinner area, which seemed to baffle and surprise the workers at the venue!!!
  
  I have written a whole essay here but wanted to share my full experience! I also want to note that since Joel ISN'T from one of those DJ companies, that I did end up hooking him up with a separate lighting company who provided lighting towers and a booth for the reception. So if this is something you also want, it is totally do-able and Joel was extremely open and communicative with the lighting guys throughout the whole process as well, which I really appreciated!!
  
  So, Joel, thank you so much! My parents were floored by how amazing the night was, and friends have said they were impressed by the "DFE" (dance floor energy), and another said it might be the best wedding she's even been to, because of how awesome the DJ was. If you go with DJ Lord Easy you are in good hands!!!!!

  We loved working with DJ Lord Easy! So many people have told us how great the music and dance party was. He was really helpful through the planning and came to meet us at the venue since he hadn't seen it before. We really appreciated how thoughtful and responsive he was. Our ceremony and reception had some challenges -- it rained (a lot) and our rain backup plan made things tricky, with multiple setups and a really tight space and the schedule we made for the evening went totally off the rails. Easy took it in stride and really made it look easy to cover when things didn't go as planned. We are so appreciative of that! The music was perfect, just what we wanted. He was able to transition from some off-beat songs we wanted to play really smoothly into songs everyone knows and loves to dance to. So happy to have worked with him.

  If you are at all interested in your wedding being the best party of your life, hire Lord Easy. Done and done. We were lucky enough to have an amazing wedding all around, from the food to the flowers, to all our incredible friends. But what really made it an unbelievable blast was the music. Thanks to Lord Easy, every moment was perfectly soundtracked, and each segment of the evening blended perfectly into the next. After a short meeting to discuss what vibe we were going for for each part of the evening, and listing off a few specific must-play songs, he was able to create a playlist for our night that was beyond our expectations. All of our friends declared it to be the most fun they had ever had a at a wedding! One girlfriend of mine even said, "I danced so hard, I peed my pants a little!" Seriously, what more do you need to know?!?

  Lord easy is one of the best decisions we made for our wedding! We were married on 9/22/16. He took the time to meet with us and go over every detail of how our wedding day would go. He even visited the venue to make sure everything was set up with what he needed. He even took the burden of our ceremony music off our hands because we didn't realize we needed to take care of that ourselves until a few weeks before the wedding and he didn't mind at all. ??. The reception went great he played the perfect variety of songs and my guests loved it. He really knows how to read the room and play exactly the right songs. My husband and I are big karaoke fans which is how we know of lord easy so we added karaoke about half way through the wedding and it went amazingly ! Lord easy and his partner Chris even performed! My guests thought it was so much fun. I had my guests asking me how much did they have to pay to get them to stay longer! I can't thank him enough!

  The thing that I most wanted at our wedding was great music. Our venue included their house DJ but I love to dance and I wanted our reception to be an amazing dance party so we hired Lord Easy and it was nothing short of epic! We had guests from all over the world and they still talk about what a fun time they had dancing at our wedding. I can honestly say that it was the best part of our reception. Thank you, Lord Easy!

  We wanted a guaranteed dance party, with a real DJ who can read the room, fit the mood, and keep the party going. We had a lot of specific ideas of genre ranging from Bluegrass and Soul to early House music that he blended in nicely to not feel themed or hokey. If you told Easy your favorite band he could probably make an entire evening inspired by that too. We were able to specify different moods for ceremony, cocktail, dinner, dancing - a lot of our guests asked if they could get a list of what was played after the wedding and remarked how much fun they had dancing.
  In addition to the music, the correspondence and interactions with Easy was great, very collaborative and took the time to understand our event planning, the layout of the venue, contact names and numbers on the day, etc.

  More than cake, more than pictures, more than table settings or food, the thing that makes or breaks a wedding party is the DJ. And you know who makes weddings the most fun, most dancey, most effortless and memorable? LORD EASY. Amen to this man for throwing the best party - both juggling traditional parents with wild party animals. He made a little Google document for us to update with the "must play" songs, as well as the "do not play" songs, which was super helpful. He was kind, professional and everyone completely fell for him. Book him, you won't regret it.

  There are not enough amazing things that I could say about Lord Easy, the wedding DJ! In the middle of all the planning that came along with our wedding, he took a huge weight off my shoulders. He gave me a super easy Google sheet to fill out with some songs that me and hubs like, and he knew from that small list exactly what we wanted the party to be like. We got married 3 years ago, and people STILL tell us that it was the funnest wedding they've ever been to. Our party did not stop dancing all night and we even had a giant line going around the entire hall to "Jump in the Line." He's the biggest reason that my wedding was the greatest of all time!! Xo

  Absolutely loved having these guys at our wedding, the music was ever flowing and perfect all night long. Pre-wedding, cost, professionalism were all aces in my book as well.

  Joel and Chris were great to work with. They made planning super easy and were able to build an amazing playlist with very little input from us. They were totally open to creating exactly the type of party that we were looking for and were the perfect balance of responsive and accommodating and easy going. We had multiple guests ask about our DJ after the party and the dance floor was packed!

  DJ Lord Easy helped us make the wedding of our dreams come true! We were married 7/1/18 at the Green Building in Brooklyn and Lord Easy worked closely with us to make sure each part of our evening had the feel we envisioned for it. He was very accommodating of our special requests (we had many!) and very organized - he sent us a google sheet asking for all the details about what songs we wanted, people who were being introduced, etc. - which made it easy for us to communicate changes as they happened. Our guests had a blast dancing all night long. Also his look was on point! If you want the best DJ for your wedding, Lord Easy is it!
