Rueben was an absolute dream wedding photographer! I could not be happier with our wedding day photos, and working with Rueben and his team was such a pleasure from start to finish. From the get-go, Rueben was incredibly communicative, professional, and easy to work with. He was attentive to what I was looking for and came more than prepared for our big day with a clear plan and timeline.
I think what truly sets Rueben apart is his calming presence and ability to make you feel completely at ease. Rueben made my husband and I feel so comfortable and confident—every pose felt natural, and he captured all the emotion and joy without anything ever feeling staged or forced.
The quality of the photos is amazing. Rueben has an incredible eye for light, composition, and detail, and he managed to catch so many beautiful candid moments that we’ll treasure forever.

Hiring Rueben and his team at Loose Tie Photography was hands down the best decision we made for our wedding. We hired his team for both photography and videography. From our engagement shoot through to the last dance of our wedding day, the quality of our photos and videos is absolutely stunning and we've received countless compliments. But what truly set Loose Tie apart was the experience.
Rueben immediately made us feel comfortable, which was so refreshing as we were worried we'd look awkward during posed photos. He has this rare ability to be incredibly sharp and calculated in his craft, while also being the most laid-back person in the room. He listened intently to our vision, provided advice where we needed help, and effortlessly guided us into natural, fun, and genuine poses, making the entire process feel less like a chore and more like hanging out with a friend. We were also thrilled with how seamlessly Rueben and his team worked with our dog, who was a big part of both the engagement and wedding photos!
The preparation leading up to the wedding was exceptional. Rueben and Melissa took the time to visit our family property (our wedding shoot location) twice just to carefully scout locations, map out specific shots, and track where the sun would hit at the perfect time of day. He mirrored this level of diligence at our main venue as well. This calculated approach ensured every moment was captured beautifully and perfectly timed, yet on the wedding day itself, we never once felt stressed about the timeline or logistics.
On the day of the wedding, Rueben and his team were a seamless, nearly invisible presence. They managed to capture every key moment without ever being disruptive. Our bridal party and family constantly commented on how awesome, professional, and friendly the whole team was.

Super professional from start to finish. Everything you would want from a wedding photographer. When looking at our photos and videos, you would have thought we spent hours setting up shots and posing, but on the day we barely noticed they were there. Rueben was amazing! He is so kind, professional and great at what he does! He wanted to make sure we got only the Best photos by taking us to breathtaking locations by the beach and he was genuinely happy to capture our wedding with the perfect backgrounds and poses. He has such a fun and bubbly personality, my husband and I are usually a bit shy and introverted but we warmed up to Rueben right away. He was so easy to get along with and made us feel comfortable right away. We thoroughly enjoyed our wedding day and Rueben was a huge part of it! Best. Photographer. Ever!
Best photographer ever for our best day ever! We first met Rueben for our engagement shoot, and he immediately made us feel comfortable. Meeting him before the big day was great, and he gave us plenty of tips to look natural during the shoot. He made the experience so fun that we both want to make photoshoots a regular thing!
On our wedding day, Rueben and Melissa were professional, upbeat, and brought amazing energy. They made the day even more fun, and our family loved them too! I was already 100% satisfied, and then we received the photos—perfection. Each shot tells the story of our day and captures the joy and love so beautifully. Rueben's skill with lighting is incredible.

We booked Rueben for our early August wedding and couldn't recommend him enough! His packages are very reasonable for the amazing quality that he brings. He was super flexible about what we wanted day-of and has a very warm and friendly energy. We recently had the pleasure of working with Rueben for our engagement photos and wedding, and we couldn’t be happier with the results. From the very beginning, Rueben was incredibly professional and attentive. I had never done a photo shoot before and was very nervous leading up to our engagement photos. Rueben immediately put us at ease with his easy going attitude and coached us through each pose perfectly. His communication and preparation before the wedding was above and beyond. He even showed up to our rehearsal to plan out the next day and get our friends and family familiar with him. During our wedding day, he and his team blended into the background seamlessly for the candids then took charge and organized our big families for the countless posed pictures we asked him to get. Loose Tie Photography are very good at what they do. When first meeting Ruben I was nervous about what questions to ask, appon meeting him any questions I thought of were answered. When ever I would call with more questions or requests he was very easy to talk to. When we received the photos of our wedding it was more than I've imagined. The photos came out looking amazing of the Venue and Ceremony and the Reception. If ever I need a professional photographer I'm definitely going with Loose Tie Photography. -

If you want a crew that makes you feel relaxed and happy even when you hate taking pictures then loose tie is it for sure. Everyone else I talked to felt so robotic and so expensive. Ruben was flexible and so easy to work with. His photos are gorgeous. My husband hates photos and he felt so great after. The team is so personable and experienced. My family loved them at the wedding. They don’t make it weird to smile in front a camera. Felt like family. 10/10 thank you all for such a great experience! -

You literally cannot go wrong with Rueben
I have been re-watching all the videos and staring at the photos so much my computer might give out! Rueben and his team could not have done a better job, from the engagement shoot to the wedding finished product. The mother of the bride is absolutely over the moon with how everything turned out, and we are even happier than she is. We are so incredibly delighted we picked Rueben & his team to capture the big day :) He encapsulated our vision even better than we described. We are so lucky that these are the photos and videos we’ll be able to look back on for the rest of our lives. A wedding is so important, it’s only fitting to go with the best of the best. Very responsive and easy to coordinate with. Asked exactly what we wanted and finished the photos with a professional but artsy touch that is unique and has been fun to print on any medium with help of very simple and reliably stored access (and I am NOT tech savvy) !
