Easy Breezy Covergirl Ready

Lisa has employed a fantastic team of makeup and hair stylists. Everyone was super nice and easy to work with. We had 6 bridesmaids, two mothers, and myself to get ready morning of and Lisa sent four people which worked out perfectly. We budgeted 45 minutes per person but came in under time, making our wedding morning rather relaxing and stress free! And everyone looked beautiful! I had provided some feedback during my hair and makeup trial, all of which was addresesd day of which I so appreciated. Couldn't ask for more!

Excellent service and very skilled artist.

Lisa, was wonderful! She met us on location for my daughters wedding. My daughter needed to go full coverage that day and Lisa ,provided a beautiful wedding look that was full coverage without a caked on make up look. The colors she chose complimented my daughter's skin tone and natural beauty. Lisa was friendly and a lot of fun to work with. Would definitely recommend her service.

So professional and fabulous results!!

I loved working with these gals, my makeup stylist was Lisa and my hair stylist was Angela. They were fun and sweet, and we all looked AMAZING for my wedding! My girls were able to show pictures of how they wanted their hair, and Angela was amazing at replicating it. Lisa did a great job highlighting natural beauty and adding some drama when we wanted it! Our lashes all looked great and not too fake or heavy. Plus they worked so efficiently and were done in plenty of time! They also did my engagement photos as well as a trial for the wedding, and I loved the results each time. They do a great job with hair extensions; I wore them for both my engagement photos and the wedding. They are also pretty responsive when it came to contacting them. THANK YOU LADIES, this was a great experience!! ♥

Lisa and her team are great!

My number priority in a venue was for them to be able to do hair and makeup as one team, and be largest enough that if someone were to be sick, someone else on the team can step in. My consultant was done by Lisa personally and I was excited that her team could work with a variety of people, skin tones, and ages to help everyone feel their best. We were even running ahead of schedule on the wedding day. I didn't do a hair trial because I wasn't particular about my bun, but I'm glad I did my makeup trial. We were able to make some adjustment to photographed well and improve the longevity of the makeup on my skin type. Lisa and her team also prioritize sanitation and hygiene along with high quality products!

I felt so confident on my wedding day!!

I loved working with Looks by Lisa for my wedding hair and makeup! From the first phone call I could tell I was in good hands, and fell more and more in love with Lisa and her team during the trials. Amazing experience! I was flawless on my wedding day

I highly recommend Looks by Lisa. She did my hair and makeup for my wedding and she did not disappoint. Very knowledgeable in what products to use for your individual needs, honest about what to expect, listens and understands your personal vision, accommodating, friendly, and so extremely helpful. I got so many compliments on my hair and makeup, my husband couldn’t keep his hands AND eyes off me, even my kids said I looked like a beautiful teenager! If I could use her as my personal makeup artist I would!

Amazing – hire Lisa and her team.

Lisa and her team were amazing. A couple things that really stood out: 1) She has a team of people. We had 10 women that needed to have hair and makeup done by 1:30 pm (including me, the bride). Lisa came with 3 other professionals so we could start at 10 am instead of at the crack of dawn. This was much appreciated by all my bridesmaids. 2) Lisa and her team do a fantastic job of making you look like the best version of you. I wanted to look like myself on my wedding and felt they really got that and enhanced my natural features, rather than making me look like someone totally different. On top of all that they are organized, timely, great communicators, and listen to what you want. I loved working with Lisa and her team for my wedding!!

Lisa's Team Is Great

Lisa and Lindsey did hair and makeup for me, my mother, and two people in the bridal party. They did a great job. I wanted a very natural look, and Lisa didn't overdue it. Initially my mother wasn't going to do makeup at all, but after seeing her do my bridal party, she got makeup as well. Both my hair and makeup held up from 3pm till midnight, despite my hair being super fine and me wearing it down and taking photos in the wind. Lisa was the most professional hair/makeup person I spoke with in St. Louis. She returns calls, provides responses to questions in a reasonable time frame, and is great to work with.

Such an easy decision!!

I had a wonderful bridal experience with Lisa and her team! I booked Lisa fairly late in the game after a slightly off-putting experience from another owner. She made everything easy from our first phone call. I am not a hair and makeup kind of gal. Lisa and Lindsay were able to give me exactly what I wanted even with little help from me! They are both so down to earth and were so fun to chat with and get to know. I would happily recommend you them to any bride!

Brought out everyone’s best and kept it natural!

Lisa and her staff set the tone for a beautiful and relaxed day for our daughter’s wedding on 7/10/2021. They were ready to start right on time, their artistry enhanced the natural beauty of 10 women in the bridal party and we never felt rushed or pressed for time. The best of the best!

I found Lisa and her team through our wedding planner, Allyssa Elaine Events. I wanted to look like me on our wedding day and so Looks by Lisa was a perfect fit. I felt beautiful and glamorous and special, but looking at my pictures and my pictures I still feel like me. The team was so professional and were so fun to be with the morning of our wedding! I will recommend them to all my friends that are getting married.

Perfect Wedding Makeup!

Lisa did the makeup for myself, my wedding party and my mom. I contacted Lisa the week of my wedding after having second thoughts about my original makeup artist. Lisa made me feel very reassured through every step of the process and everyone's makeup turned out beautiful and natural. The makeup lasted all day/night and wore very comfortably - I couldn't even feel the fake lashes and really did not need to touch up my makeup. I whole-heartedly recommend Looks By Lisa and am very grateful to Lisa for making my wedding day so special.

Outstanding

Lisa and her team were absolute professionals. They rolled with the punches when we had last minute issues with the hotel where we were getting ready. Everyone looked beautiful!

Lisa did my makeup and Carlos did my hair. I can honestly say that I felt like a princess! I’m not being hyperbolic! It’s true. If you are getting married in St. Louis, I recommend Looks By Lisa whole heart-idly.

Amazing hair and makeup

I looked the best I’ve ever looked on my wedding day thanks to Lisa and Austin. Lisa made me look like the best version of myself--my makeup was exactly what I wanted and not at all overdone. She came back to do touch ups right before my ceremony but even after taking photos outside in the heat and humidity she only needed to spend a couple minutes touching me up. My makeup looked just as good at 2 in the morning as it did at the beginning of the night. Austin totally got what I wanted for my hair and it didn’t fall out (despite hours of enthusiastic dancing, taking my veil on and off, and the previously mentioned heat and humidity). My mom and my sister also looked amazing thanks to Lisa and Austin. As a bonus, they were a total joy to hang out with in the morning while we got ready. I have absolutely no complaints and would recommend Looks By Lisa to any bride.

Lisa was Perfect for us

I booked Lisa after seeing her work at my friend's wedding. My friend looked absolutely stunning, and the night of her wedding i told her i was booking her hair and makeup. She referred me to Lisa for makeup, and I'm so happy she did. Lisa was affordable, accommodating, reliable, and did a beautiful job on me, my wedding party, and the mothers. She made us all feel stunning (and look stunning). Lisa was open to suggestions during the makeup trial, but the day of she needed no direction. She nailed it. Thanks Lisa!!

Wow!! Lisa is so talented and fun to work with-- my bridesmaids and I had a wonderful time with her on my wedding day!! I was initially going to do a trial with another vendor but booked one with Lisa because she also offered hair service. Lori was equally talented in the hair department and made our updos (including my flower girl) look spectacular. With Lisa, my bridesmaids and I looked and felt so beautiful -- different skin tones, freckles and rosacea in the mix, she made us all look beautiful in our own skin. She even came to the wedding venue several hours later to do touchups for us after our photo session outside before the ceremony. Just amazing to work with and would hire her again in a heartbeat.

Lisa was absolutely amazing to work with from the beginning. She did a wonderful job on my bridal makeup and on the makeup of my five bridesmaids, mom, and mother in law. Lisa and Lori were a WONDERFUL makeup and hair artists! They make sure that you do not look like a completely different person on your wedding day and enhance your features naturally. They made me feel so beautiful inside and out and had great personalities! They are the kind of people that make you believe that a wedding can go smoothly with the correct vendors. I highly recommend them and I am so happy and proud to say that they will always be a part of the best day of my life! Additionally, I had a traditional Indian wedding and they were well verse with the different parts and made sure to accommodate for all the events. My mom also loved their services and she NEVER does her hair or make up. We are very satisfied with the service!

Lisa and her team were absolutely wonderful to work with. They showed up early to prepare and were completely professional but totally fun during the process of setting up. I had a big bridal party for my wedding and Lisa and her team still ran ahead of schedule while making all of us feel relaxed and never rushed. After they finished with everyone, we all looked beautiful and felt confident to tackle the big day. I will definitely recommend Lisa again and will reach out to us her again for another wedding or event in my future!

Lisa was very accommodating from the very beginning. She did my bridal makeup on somewhat short notice, and she did a fantastic job. As a person that wears little to no makeup, I feared a heavy look, but Lisa did a naturally beautiful look. I even got approval from my husband, saying that "I didn't look too done up, but instead an enhanced version of myself." It was literally 105 degrees, and my makeup stayed on from morning to night. So glad I treated myself-- thank you!

I got married in 106° weather and looks by Lisa and Lori Evans were the hair and make up and dream team!!! My whole bridal party was gorgeous even in the heat! They were on time, reasonably priced, and extremely talented! All of my bridesmaids are pleased, and I was ecstatic about my hair and make up. I cannot recommend Lisa and Laurie more highly to you.

After a failed makeup trail somewhere else a month before my wedding, I was so happy to have found Lisa! Just a quick phone call later made me feel so comfortable with her. She was a pleasure to work with and fun to talk to during the sessions. On my wedding day, she even came to my house (after doing another wedding) to do my makeup and my mom's, which made the logistics of the day so much easier. What I loved best about her is that she treats every client individually so that we don't all come out looking like the same cookie-cutter bride. Thank you Lisa!

I thought Lisa did a fantastic job on my wedding makeup. I live outside the area so I was not able to do a trial with her. I was very nervous on my wedding day that it wouldn’t be perfect, but she did great! I looked like myself just much more glamorous than usual. I gave her a couple of photos of wedding makeup I found on Pinterest and she took it from there. She did airbrushing, false eyelashes, and even got me to try lipstick which I never do. When I look back on my photos I am blown away at how beautiful I look. Even better, she showed up right on time and had a very fun attitude. It felt like she was one of the girls by the time we were done. I would highly recommend her to anyone.

Lisa is wonderful! She is very prompt, personable, and kind! She came to our hotel room the morning of the wedding, which made things so relaxing and easy!! My makeup lasted all day and looked flawless and natural! She was also so sweet in making sure I was comfortable with all the makeup choices and color shades - both at my trial and the day of my wedding. I would highly recommend Lisa!

Words cannot express how thankful I am to Lisa!! the week of my wedding I found myself without anyone to do my makeup because of another vendors lack of professionalism....Lisa swept in and saved the day!!!!!! She booked me for a trial and then fixed my makeup and my bridesmaids makeup to perfection! I do not wear a lot of make up and Lisa took the time to give me the most beautiful natural look ever!! I also had a lot of bridesmaids so she brought in Jill who is another member of the team and she was amazing too!! I would recommend looks by Lisa to anyone who will listen!! She is amazing!!!

Lisa is my husband's aunt but I would have chosen her and her team whether we were family or not. They have an incredible reputation in the wedding industry and come highly recommended. Lisa and her team made my wedding day so incredibly memorable and special. The make-up process with 10 bridesmaids can be a long process but she made the whole morning very fun and lighthearted which I appreciated. Lisa did a great job with my makeup. I wanted a natural look and she knew not to go to heavy and just add as I requested. She was there bright and early - my ceremony was at 10am and she was easy to communicate with. I think it was Chrissy who did my hair - it turned out just perfect. I had flowers woven in and I have hair that is difficult to hold curl, but it held well into the evening. My bridesmaids also had hair done and they all looked great! I found them both easy to work with.

I first met Lisa 9 years ago when she did my makeup for my wedding. She did an amazing job. I looked very natural. Two years ago Lisa did my sister's wedding. We all looked great. Lisa was amazing! She is so great with people with all skin colors and hair colors (I had bridesmaids with pink and green hair). I'm a caramel complexion kind of girl and I was worried about having a makeup person that tried to make me look white. Lisa matched my skin tone perfectly and made me look like a better version of myself. I didn't look crazy different at all. The airbrush makeup was so cool! It rained while we were taking photos outside, and all of our hair got messed up, but the makeup was FLAWLESS. It was bizarre how well the makeup stayed. I couldn't have asked for a better makeup person.

Lisa was great to work with and we were so lucky to have her!! It was so convenient that she could come to our hotel, we had zero stress all day which made enjoyable! All of us looked and felt beautiful. My mom and mother in law got SO many comments on how great they looked! I can't thank Lisa enough for spending extra time on my mom who was very worried about not looking natural or like herself (Due to health issues she didn't have much eyebrow hair or eyelashes to work with). Lisa did a wonderful job listening to her needs and preferences, but also working her magic! My mom looked like her old self and I could tell she felt confident and beautiful! I absolutely loved Lisa! She was so easy to get ahold of and super sweet!! She wanted to know every detail at the makeup trial of my wedding: what my dress looked like, hair, accessories, bridesmaids etc. She even offered to airbrush my back since I had an open back dress! She was so professional to myself and my bridesmaids and listened to every concern, request and made us all look beautiful and gave us tips on how to keep our makeup looking fresh throughout the whole HOT day (which it definitely did)! I would HIGHLY recommend her to any bride. I couldn't tell you the amount of compliments myself and bridesmaids had all evening long. After working with Lisa and her staff, I would recommend her time and time again to any bride. For such a long and photographed day, she managed to make not only myself, but also my bridesmaids, mom, and mom-in-law, look naturally beautiful. They listened to what I was looking for and quickly picked up on my style and the style that we had chosen for our wedding. I don't wear a lot of makeup and was worried that we'd have to apply a lot in order to make it last all day. However, Lisa and her staff found a way to make me look natural and feel fresh throughout the entire day (not to mention our wedding was outside and it was 97 degrees).

It was convenient that they were able to travel to us because it allowed my bridesmaids and I to get ready in the comfort of our hotel room. While getting ready, they were professional yet still friendly and enjoyable to spend time with. We got tons of compliments throughout the wedding and everyone that had their hair and makeup done were thrilled with Lisa and her team. Lisa did an amazing job making my whole bridal party, mothers, and mother in law beautiful for my wedding! Lisa did the makeup for my daughter's wedding in historic St. Charles, MO. I could not have been more pleased! My daughter had a very small wedding on a Sunday and even though she was the only one receiving makeup services, Lisa never made us feel awkward about our small event. She was very professional and had a friendly personality that put everyone at ease. I arranged everything from a distance and my daughter lived too far away to have a trial so I was a tad concerned about how it would turn out. No worries! She did a marvelous job and enhanced my daughter's natural beauty without looking "over done". I have received so many positive comments about the close up photos of the bride that showcase the flawless makeup Lisa provided. People universally feel they could be showcased in a bridal magazine. Lisa is both talented and professional. She was very patient with me during the trial, since I was unsure of what I wanted. She gave me suggestions and gave me a look that I loved. We were going for a glamorous Great Gatsby theme, and she exceeded our expectations.

Lisa and her team were early, gave off a low stress vibe and did a fantastic job. My entire wedding party looked beautiful on a very long New Year's Eve wedding day. The airbrush makeup stayed fresh looking from the morning application to midnight hour.

Lisa and her team very very professional. It was clear that everyone was on the same page and had the same background and training. Lisa was very transparent about her philosophy and areas of expertise. She was open and flexible during the trial, and she clearly listened because she replicated what we discussed on my wedding day. The first makeup artist any of us had ever used, Lisa did exceed our expectations. My daughter's wedding was way out in Augusta, Missouri, yet she charged only a nominal fee for driving so far. The fear of bad weather did not keep her away either. All of us who used Lisa's skills were thrilled with the makeup. Mine even lasted through many tears as the MOB. Just let her know how heavy you want your eye makeup and she will accommodate your wishes. She has a natural knack to make each woman look her best. Jacque did my makeup and the bridesmaids makeup for my wedding. She came to the salon we were getting our hair done at which made it extremely convenient! My wedding planner, Tiffany Butler, set me up with Looks by Lisa and she hit the nail on the head. My make-up artist was Ryann, a team member of Looks by Lisa, and she was absolutely wonderful. I knew that Ryann was perfect for me and my wedding party as soon as I had my make-up trial. Ryann's main focus was to ensure that the make-up was done how I wanted it. She definitely can do makeup to fit any person's style. I gravitated more toward a classic wedding look, with no dramatic flares. I wanted to look like me...but the 7.0 version. :-) She hit the nail on the head! Her airbrush work was amazing! I had never had airbrush makeup done before and she walked me through the whole process and made sure I was comfortable with the look and feel. On the day of the wedding Ryann came to the hotel where we all were staying and was there for the majority of the morning and afternoon. She fit right in with all of us! We had the best time with Ryann and she made all of us look like our best selves. All my girls, including my mom, were so happy with the results! I kept hearing over and over how each of my girls thought they had never looked this good. My wedding party was already beautiful, but Ryann enhanced their beauty and made them all feel and look so beautiful. Ryann was a gem to work with. Her personality fit right in with all of ours. She was laughing and joking with us and made us all feel so comfortable. I will definitely be working with Ryann in the future and will be recommending her and Looks by Lisa to future brides.

Lisa was amazing! She did my wedding makeup standing up and leaning over my HUGE dress. Which was not easy. She suggested a bright pink lip, which I was nervous about, but then it looked AMAZING. I was having some difficulty in finding a makeup artist who would come to the hotel to do my makeup only. The ones I looked at all required a minimum number of girls before they would travel to me. Luckily, I got in contact with Lisa. She already had a wedding booked the day of my wedding, but was willing and happy to come to me beforehand. I was a bit nervous to get my makeup done at 8:30AM for a 6PM ceremony, but Lisa assured me everything would be fine. And she was definitely right! The makeup lasted all day and night and looked beautiful in the pictures. My mom and my now husband were both worried that the makeup would be too much and that I wouldn't look like myself. But Lisa was able to find the perfect balance between looking done up enough to look good in pictures but not overdone in person. She was also a blast to work with and is just so talented. Thanks Lisa for doing such a beautiful job!

I would definitely recommend Lisa! I've had my makeup done for weddings in the past where it photographed well but felt caked on and downright gross. When it came time for my own wedding I definitely didn't want to go that route. With Lisa I got the best of both worlds, It photographed wonderfully and it felt amazing on! Airbrush is definitely the way to go!

Lisa did a wonderful job on my makeup! I was very nervous about having my makeup done because I usually don't wear a lot. I was afraid I would not look like myself. But Lisa did a beautiful job and I felt gorgeous on my wedding day and felt that I stayed true to my style and self!

Lisa did my makeup for my wedding. She also did makeup for my mom, my maid of honor, and my junior bridesmaid. Lisa was prompt, professional, and very personable. Most importantly, she did a great job on everyone's makeup! She doesn't pile on the makeup; instead, she opts for a more natural look--basically, I looked like myself, just better! I liked that I could look in the mirror and still recognize myself; I've been to weddings where the bride looks too done up and doesn't look like herself, and Lisa's looks are not like that at all.

Lisa was fabulous at my wedding on 12.31.12! It snowed that day, but she still arrived early and did an amazing job. She did 7 people in just a few hours, including lashes! My makeup lasted all day and all my bridesmaids loved theirs too! I would highly recommend Lisa!

Lisa did an amazing job. My make-up looked natural & beautiful. St.Louis got 6 -11 inches of snow on my March 23 wedding day, & I was concerned that Lisa wouldn't be able to make it. She assured me that she would be there the day before, called to assure me when she was on her way, & arrived early the morning of the wedding. As an African American bride in my early 40's, I was concerned with finding the right make-up professional. I'm glad I found Lisa.

Lisa worked wonders with the make-up for my bridesmaids and moms. Everyone looked like beautiful versions of themselves, which is exactly what I hoped for. The makeup was natural and not overdone, yet everyone looked stunning for photos and the makeup lasted all day.
Lisa was able to make everyone look great by listening to their opinions and customizing to each person rather than applying a "one size fits all" approach. I would highly recommend her.

Lisa was amazing to work with! She made my Mom, Mother-in-law, Sister-in-law, Sister, and me look and feel beautiful!! She is so professional and prompt. She was late due to a road closing and called me to reassure me before I even knew of the situation. We all were finished with our make-up on time and not once did we feel rushed. She is very fun to be around and meshed really well with my other hair stylists. The airbrush make-up lasted all day, which was amazing since my wedding was on August 4th! I would highly recommend Lisa and would use her again in a heartbeat!
