I dont even know how to write a review that could possibly do this place, or this woman, justice. But Im going to try!

Lone Wulff Ranch was the first venue my husband and I toured. It wasnt the only one, but looking back, I think a part of me had already decided before I even knew Id decided. I swear, that tree must have put some kind of spell on me. 😂

From our first visit, Rachel was personable, professional, and genuinely engaged. She shared her familys history, answered every question, and made us feel like more than just another couple touring a venue. There was simply no comparison. We loved knowing we were supporting Rachel and her family rather than a corporation.

As beautiful as the property is, RACHEL is what makes Lone Wulff Ranch extraordinary.

I was a prettyyyy specific bride. Type A-ish, unconventional, intentional, and lots of ideas! I wanted the ceremony benches arranged differently, mini horses, my classic Lincoln, a tattoo trailer, and an ivory grand PIANO delivered beneath the tree.

Rachel never made me feel difficult. She offered practical guidance, told me what would and wouldnt work, and embraced my vision WITH me. When she realized I was actually serious about that piano, she got excited too! 😂

And that magnificent tree? There was something almost biblical about it. Something sacred. It became the centerpiece of our wedding, appearing on our invitations, website, and custom wax seal. I loved it so much I got it tattooed on my hand afterward. So I guess you could say the place made an impression. 🥁

The flexibility of the venue was invaluable. We could customize our package, add accommodations, and create a wedding that actually reflected US. The bridal cottage was PERFECT, and having the property for the weekend gave us time for setup, rehearsal, celebrating, and cleanup. The main house let us keep celebrating with our closest people after the reception. I genuinely have NO idea how couples manage with a venue for only one day!

But heres what I really want future couples to understand. Rachel goes FAR beyond what she is hired, paid, or expected to do.

We experienced significant challenges with a vendor, and despite having hired a planner specifically so Rachel wouldnt have to take on those responsibilities, she stepped in.

She problem-solved, coordinated, advocated for me, handled situations behind the scenes, and put out fires that were NEVER hers to put out. She checked on me, validated me, and supported me when things got overwhelming..

Rachel understands that the little things AND the big things matter. Because you get ONE shot at this. ONE. You dont get to redo your wedding day because someone dropped the ball.

She was engaged before, during, AND after our wedding. She even recommended our photographer, Lexi, knowing wed be a perfect match. She was right! Both women were my rocks that day.

When everything was over, I didnt feel defeated or ready to escape. No wedding blues. I felt calm, relaxed, and overwhelmingly grateful. We left with incredible memories and a new friend.

Weddings are EXPENSIVE. But what Rachel and her family have cultivated at Lone Wulff Ranch is worth more than gold. The property, accommodations, services, and balance of flexibility and structure are worth every penny.

But her care, commitment, compassion, and willingness to show up when she absolutely didnt have to? THAT is priceless.

After our wedding, I genuinely wished I could give Rachel the world. No amount of money could adequately repay her for what she gave my husband, our friends, our family, and me. She helped protect moments we can never get back and turn things Id only imagined into memories well carry forever.

My goal was to have THE BEST wedding anyone had ever been to, and pull off something Id dreamed of my whole life. WE DID THAT!

If youre considering Lone Wulff Ranch, GO. Meet Rachel. Stand under that magnificent tree.

From the very beginning, Rachel was very responsive and easy to communicate with. She made herself available and was a wealth of information for us. She is a one stop wedding shop! She has the wedding business on lock. We seriously had no hiccups or issues at all. This was the smoothest event I have ever been a part of. Rachel is extremely helpful and willing to help with whatever is necessary. She goes above and beyond what is expected. Her preferred vendors are preferred for a reason. Trust this!! We had a truly lovely experience with David from DJ Barnett Productions, Stacey and her staff from Primo Bar, and Tacos 911. I would not hesitate to use any of her preferred vendors based on the service we received from the three we used. Rachel has created a lovely venue with a vast array of configurations to suit any event need. My daughter got engaged in March and we were able to have her wedding the end of September the same year, due to a cancellation. I realize this will not be everyone's experience as she does book out, but if you don't ask you won't know! She really loves what she does and it shows. She is so easy to work with and really wants to see every bride realize her dream wedding! I highly recommend Rachel, and Lone Wulff Ranch.

Lone Wulff ranch is the best place to have your wedding or any event for that matter. The venue is beautiful and well taken care of, you can rent the two homes on the property so that you will have plenty of space for your whole wedding party and maybe even some family too, the tree is beautiful with and without decorations, the barn is amazing with plenty of room for guests, and fairly priced compared to what I had seen at venues who offered the same or less than what she does even with add ons. I think what makes it the absolute best though is Rachel, the host. She was so helpful through out the whole planning process and our special day would not have been as perfect as it was without her. She did so much more than I ever expected and was willing to answer any questions that we had. She is truly made for this type of work and has created such a beautiful venue on her property. Worth every penny.

Rachel and the Lone Wulff Ranch were an absolute dream for our wedding day. We were specifically looking for a venue where we weren't locked into catering contracts and could have food that fit us best and we quickly found The Lone Wulff Ranch. Immediately upon pulling onto the property for a tour I was pretty confident we were going to book. It has the perfect rustic ranch feel with so many options for your day. The oak tree is magical, the goats add such a fun touch, noodle and the rest of the characters on the ranch just added even more to the experience.

In planning the big day Rachel was extremely prompt and professional. She has seen A LOT and she knows what to prepare you for. Her vendor list is top tier, but she lets you book outside of her list if you want which is nice if you want the flexibility. The staff on site during the wedding is amazing. Everyone is all in on you having a magical day and it really shows. The only issue (that I know of, at least) on our wedding day was that the bathroom generator ran out of gas, but Rachel was immediately on it and refilled it in a matter of minutes.

This venue has SO MUCH to offer. If it fits your vision, book it. There is so much customization on this property, they have a prop den if you want to keep it easy. We got so many compliments on the venue and how balanced it is for guests. It gives you separate ceremony and reception space all on one property allowing for a seamless experience for everyone. The barn critters were such a fun addition for us, but Rachel also was extremely mindful that they were part of our vision for the day.

I will always sing the praises of Rachel and this venue, absolutely would recommend.

My husband and I had the best experience getting married at Lone Wulff Ranch, and would strongly recommend this venue to other couples! The Ranch itself is stunning from every angle, and really feels like a magical place to be married. We had our rehearsal dinner there on Friday night, and it was so special to spend the whole weekend at the Ranch and have time to enjoy the lovely property (this is super rare for wedding venues!). The owner, Rachel, was an absolute pleasure to work with. She offers a friendly, personal touch, and flexibility in customizing your wedding day that is truly unique! Throughout the entire process she was professional, organized, quick to respond, and incredibly helpful. We used all her preferred vendors and they did an amazing job. If you have the opportunity to be married here, do it!!

We got married at the Lone Wulff Ranch October 19th, and it was everything we hoped and dreamed of! This historic venue is absolutely stunning and has unlimited decor opportunities due to the vast amount of space. This place fit our vision perfectly. It was just the right amount of rustic and vintage plus the big tree brought the perfect fall vibe! Our photographer had so many different photo spots to choose from as well.
We absolutely loved the warm welcoming atmosphere Rachel created, it made not only us but all our family and friends feel like we were at home. Plus who doesn’t love a place with goats, our guests absolutely loved them!
We chose the classic package and were extremely satisfied! It included almost everything we needed, rentals of linens, tables (which we were able to upgrade to these amazing farmhouse tables!), chairs, bartender, plates, silverware and glassware, etc. having everything included in a package helped make planning so much easier! Plus since we were able to swap out the DJ in the package (we already had our own DJ in mind) for this beautiful draping of the barn and chandeliers! Also how awesome is it that we got the venue for 3 days which really helped with setting up as much possible the day before and able to come back the next day after for clean up. Out of all the venues I toured Lone Wulff was the only that offered that option! It made it so we didn’t feel rushed day of or at the end of the night! Rachel was awesome to say the least and super accommodating every step of the way, if any issue or question arose she was there to answer any questions and help. We couldn’t have asked for a better venue than Lone Wulff, it made every dream and vision come to life and gave us the most special wedding day. We truly thank Rachel and her team for everything, it was all we could hope for!

We got married at Lone Wulff Ranch in early October and had an excellent time. The venue is beautiful and matched exactly what we wanted. It feels like I looked at every venue in the Sacramento area and am extremely grateful that we were able to secure a date at Lone Wulff Ranch.

Rachel, the owner was extremely helpful every step of the way. The venue is beautiful with tons of space and gives you a lot of flexibility for how you'd like to structure your wedding. The weekend rental also gave us the opportunity to have a Friday event. Leading up to our wedding, the forecast was low-to-mid 80s and then a heat wave rolled in and it ended up being 100 degrees, which was a nightmare scenario for me. It was honestly completely fine under the shade of the tree, where the temp was registering in the low 80s. The shade cast by the tree covered every one of our 135 guests, with room to spare. The area in front of the barn was also shaded by the time we had our cocktail hour.

I'd highly recommend Lone Wulff Ranch to anyone even remotely interested. It allows you to personalize your wedding in a DIY style without being completely on your own. Depending on package, you'll have certain inclusions, and Rachel's extensive list of contacts makes planning much easier. One look at the grounds should be enough to convince you, but we can also personally vouch for Rachel's helpfulness and kindness.

The most beautiful venue! We had our dream wedding here, and we couldn't have asked for a more perfect day. Rachel is an absolute pleasure to work with and was so accommodating and flexible when it came to planning our big day. From the ceremony location to the breathtaking barn for the reception, it was the most perfect place to get married. I could not recommend this venue enough.

We had the wedding of our dream at the Lone Wulff Ranch!!!! Everything went so smoothly and felt like a dream! Getting married under the gorgeous tree, have the most beautiful reception in the barn and dancing the night away under the string light was magical! We also added the goat package and I couldn't recommend it enough! Goldie the Goat was our ring bearer and our guests were able to feed the other goats during the reception! It was a hilarious experience and a memory we and our guests aren't going to forget.
Rachel was super sweet, helpful and incredibly flexible and just made us feel at home. The bridal suite was incredible and super comfortable. We also booked all of our vendors from their preferred guest list and they were all fantastic. I couldn't recommend enough booking your wedding at the Lone Wulff Ranch enough!!! We just had the BEST time!

It was the most beautiful, most wonderful Quince for my niece that we all dreamed of. The vibe, the scenery and most importantly the hospitality. Was a 10/10. I would definitely recommend to book 😊 👌💌

I would truly recommend this venue for any type of event. Whether it’s a birthday party, a wedding, or a small get together. The owner Rachel is very accommodating, flexible, and is willing to work with you on pretty much anything. I guess the only complaint would be the time that the events have to be over, but, the owner has no control over it since it’s city regulations. All my family and guests loved the venue and won’t stop talking about it!
