Lone Star DJ put my mind at ease

Originally we were going to have a playlist for our daughter's wedding, but decided to go with a DJ. Lone Star DJ, Steven and Karen, came through for us on her special day. They are filled with great ideas, quick to response and meticulous in the details. Their performance was professional the entire night and added to the evening with Steve's amazing MC skills. They are so easy to work with and flexible with last minute decisions. I highly recommend Lone Star DJ for your wedding or event!

Absolutely fantastic

We were not going to hire a DJ initially because we really couldn’t fit it into our budget. I kept seeing brides post about how they regretted not getting a DJ so I went on the search for someone that fit our budget and personalities. Boy did we hit the jackpot with Steve and Karen. They were a pleasure to work with and I loved all of their ideas, especially the newlywed game. It was a big hit. They made the reception so much fun and I’m forever grateful for having the pleasure of meeting them. Thank you guys so much.

Such great people!

They were so so awesome about working with me even the day of my wedding. They kept everyone on the dance floor and kept the party going. They made sure that all of our special requests and events for the night stayed on schedule, which was very important to me. They did a great job.

Steve and Karen are so great! They were beyond accommodating and helpful to my wife and I. They are professional and polite, which we very much appreciated. Of course they were also great DJs! Our guests had a blast! Thank you guys!

We originally hired Lonestar DJ for my sister's wedding and we loved them so much we hired them for mine as well! They were fantastic and really kept the party going. So nice and extremely good at what they do- would absolutely recommend them without hesitation!

Every time we had to make a change, they responded within 15 minutes. They were very flexible, and they did an excellent job with our ceremony and reception. We would highly recommend them.

Steve and Karen did an amazing job on our ceremony music and reception. We never even met in person but after a few phone calls and emails, they were on the same page as me and my husband. Steve said he read our ceremony layout several times to really get the feeling we were trying to accomplish. His cues were RIGHT ON! I could not have cued and spotted the music better if I'd done it myself!
Steve went out of his way to make sure we had proper equipment and sound - even meeting with the venue manager to make sure the music would be clear and heard by all without any "rigging."
He knew how important the music at our event was to us and he made sure everything was to our satisfaction. He made certain we knew of any additional costs as well so there were no surprises.
Steve and Karen are very knowledgeable when it comes to the music selections. There were several variations of one song I wanted that I didn't even know existed. They brought it to my attention and found the version I was referring to. Thank goodness, too, because the version I was wanting was very important to me.
Steve and Karen were so accommodating to our guests as well. They had millions of songs to choose from and played what the guests requested while keeping in mind my husband's and my restrictions.
The wedding and reception were perfect! I couldn't have asked for a better company to work with!

Steve and Karen did a phenomenal job at our wedding! They kept constant contact with us during the planning process, and answered any questions that we had, giving us advice on how the setups would work best at our venue. I would HIGHLY recommend Lone Star DJ to anyone. They are some of the nicest people and my husband and I loved working with them.

Steve and Karen are awesome! We had a rough start getting our schedules to work together, but they worked with us to make it happen. Our meetings we're always great and I left feeling like I could take a breathe, because I knew they had it under control. The day of our wedding was awesome! They made the night enjoyable and interactive! They were great and I would hands down recommend them to any friends getting married! :) thank you both! We enjoyed working with you!

We were in very good hands with this DJ team, they are very professional and made us feel very comfortable and our guests loved them . They provided a listing of the most chosen songs in our music category and worked with us to fine tune our list. We did not have to worry about anything. So don't hesitate to book this team!

Karen and Steve were a wonderful couple to work with! They are so sweet, helpful, knowledgeable, and flexible! I was an out of town bride, but never did I have any problems with communication. Lonestar DJ met my needs, they listened to our desires, and did everything we requested! I would definitely hire them all over again, and their prices are competitive! Steve and Karen were fantastic, very down to earth and knowledgeable! They were able to help my fiance and I choose the best songs that fit us and our tastes for that special day. We had an outdoor ceremony, and with their equipment everyone was able to hear our vows loud and clear. Our reception was held indoors, with soft music playing in the background and a microphone available for our toasts and best man speech. Then more dancing to follow outdoors. Steve and Karen go above and beyond for their clients, Chris and I would highly recommend them!!

Finding Steve and Karen to DJ our wedding was truly a miracle! We could not have asked for a better team to help us make our big day so perfect! They were there for us every step of the way, which was especially nice since we were planning a wedding in a different city from where we live. They helped us pick songs, make playlists, decide on the order of events, and best of all, they were 100% flexible and accommodating to ANY changes I wanted to make...up until the day of! They were so professional and so helpful and I cannot say enough great things about them! Our guests had an absolute blast. All of the music was perfect and right on cue! I enjoyed every moment working with them to plan our big day. I would re-book them again, and I suggest you book them too and find out just what I am talking about! :-)

Would absolutely book Karen and Steve again in a heartbeat! We told them we liked a little bit of everything music wise and they couldn't have played better music! People were constantly up dancing and having a blast! They were so interactive with the crowd with hula hoops and games! Many people commented on how great the DJs were!

Lone Star DJ is an excellent choice for wedding reception music. We hired Steve and Karen for my wedding reception, and they exceeded my expectations. They kept the night flowing smoothly, and they made it a lot of fun, too. We loved the fun activities that they offer including the chicken dance, hula hoops, the shoe game, and more. They were professional and accommodating. They responded to all of my emails quickly. I would recommend them for any event!

Steve and Karen were so helpful throughout the planning of our wedding. They did our ceremony and reception music. Karen even told our wedding party when to go down the isle. Steve and Karen made our wedding on June 12,2015 that much better. We are still getting complements on how great the music and ceremony music was. We couldn't have asked for a better team to do our wedding. They are reasonable in cost and contacted us throughout the planning to make sure that there wasn't anything that we needed help with. I highly recommended them my husband and I just loved them. Thanks again Steve and Karen for making our wedding a memorable one.

We are so glad that we chose Steve and Karen. They welcomed us into their home, and put up with us making constant changes to the music lineup. When we were unable to find just the right song, Steve was there with multiple suggestions. They showed up early, were prepared, and performed flawlessly. I would hire them again in a minute. They were absolutely amazing. They knew exactly what to play and when to play it and even though our ceremony plans changed at the last moment they didn't slip once they took control and rocked it. Honestly I talked to a lot of DJs for our wedding and none of them come close to Lonestar. They listen to everything you want... And if they don't have it they will try their best to get it!

Karen and Steve stepped in for us at the last minute when our original DJ had a death in his family. They were so friendly and easy to work with. The music they played for our son's wedding was the perfect mix for our crowd and got everyone out on the dance floor. As I told Karen that night, the best money I ever spent!

Karen and Steve did an excellent job for our wedding. They were very organized and on top of the ball. Any time we needed to get a hold of them with questions, they were available. And rather than make any assumptions, they asked us any questions they had if there was something that was not clear. My now wife and I really appreciated their flexibility. Our wedding was not the most traditional, and they did a great job of tailoring to fit our needs/wants. They helped everything flow smoothly throughout the ceremony and reception. We had a mix from kiddos to couples on their 40th+ year of marriage. Steve and Karen (Lonestar Dj) satisfied everyone's taste in music. SO professional, so nice, and what you get for the value is truly a bargain. I know many dj's that charge $200-$400 and I would honestly pay triple that amount just to have Lonestar at any of our events once again. If you're reading this and it's jumping out at you, there's a reason for that. I'm a military veteran and on a super tight budget since I paid for pretty much everything lol, they will work with you on so many levels...and boy do they know their music. If you have no idea how to coordinate the evening, they'll guide you there also. Experience speaks volumes and they sure know the ins and outs. Please consider them as a possibility, you won't be disappointed. PS- they'll make you shine...literally hahaha Steve and Karen, if you're reading this...thank you sooo much once again!

We loved working with Lone Star DJ! They were truly the most organized vender I had at my wedding! They stayed in great communication with me through out my engagement, and as the date approaches they set up a meeting to go over songs! Thank goodness they were so organized I had no idea you had to pick so many songs for the ceremony! They were so very patient working with my dad as he and Steve put a Grand March together! We loved how fun they made the evening by "dressing up" with different songs, and being involved with our guest! They have complete respect for when you ask a certain gene or specific artist to not be played they politely told our guest they were not able to play that request! To me that was wonderful! I didn't have to worry or stress about an inappropriate song being played! We couldn't imagine using anyone else!!!

Steve and Karen were amazing. I would recommend them to anyone. They were great to work with and if you have any type of event that you need a DJ at I would go with them. They had all they type of music that we wanted to play for both our ceremony and reception. Anytime that I had a question they were quick to get back to me. I had selected my music and the night before the wedding I needed to change the song that I walked down the aisle and they were able to do it no problem. During the reception there was never anytime that we didn't have some quest on the dance floor. They knew when it was time to play a song that would get everyone back out there and my husband and I spent a lot of time on the dance floor too. When my bridal party was walking down the aisle Karen was there to let us know when the next girl needed to begin walking. If I could give them a better score than a 5 I would give them a 10.

Steve and Karen with Lonestar DJ were absolutely awesome. From the beginning, they were very personable. They took time to sit down with us and go over every detail to be sure we had the perfect wedding and reception. They were also very helpful with their suggestions of other vendors in the area to help with things such as our cakes, flowers, etc. It was very helpful to have their input since we live about 5 hours away from our wedding venue. They were always quick to respond to questions by e-mail or phone and very professional. We had a great time!

I wish I could give these guys a million stars! I got married 10/26/13...I can't say enough about Lone Star DJ. They are such a class act...they keep you on schedule and remind you of what is next to come. They DJ'd my sister's wedding 07/18/1998 and because we loved them so much, we used them again 15 years later! You would be silly to use any other DJ service.

My husband and I had an wedding/reception at a bed and breakfast outside of town. We both work ay night so we were having a hard time booking services for our wedding. I contacted Lone Star DJ via email and they responded right away. We communicated over email for several weeks until I was finally able to meet with them face to face. Their packages are very reasonably priced and they did an excellent job. Steve & Karen are the dynamic duo! I did not have an event coordinator for the evening, so I gave Steve & Karen a timed agenda for the evening and they kept the night running from the ceremony start to the last dance. We weren't too sure on what songs to play and they helped us with commonly played songs for certain things, like the bouquet toss and garter toss. Mark and I were both very pleased with their performance for the evening and would recommend them to anyone looking for a DJ. They did an AWESOME job! I certainly felt like they made our wedding a success and I will always remember them for that and be so appreciative.

We so recommend LoneStar DJ for any event. They were always available when we needed them, very responsive, always giving great ideas. They accommodated to all our needs and they're quality of music is the best.

Steve and Karen are the best! I have worked with them on several events including two wedding receptions. They really make the event. Very professional and great master of ceremony! Everyone loves their special touches!

Steve and Karen were amazing. Their set up is very professional and accommodating. They will give as much or as little input into your special day as you would like. We had much of our timeline planned out, songs and all. They filled in all the gaps with fitting music that was interactive and fun. I would definitely recommend Lone Star DJ!

Awesome DJ's-Best in New Braunfels! Very professional! Our wedding was PERFECT! They went above our expectations. Our guests could not stop talking about the fun and GREAT time they had! They are a husband and wife team, they kept the party going,I highly reconmend LONE STAR DJ's!

Karen and Steve were fantastic on our wedding day. My fiance and I met with them a couple of months before our wedding day and knew they were a perfect fit. They were very flexible and put us at ease from the beginning. The night of our wedding, our guests all loved the DJs. From 18 months to late 80s, everyone was on the dance floor. All of our guests said they were fantastic and really "read the crowd." Also, they did not promote themselves or their businees. I would use them again without any doubt!
