A barn venue was always my dream and Locust Hill Barn helped me get there! I wish I could relive my experience over and over again.

This could not have been a more perfect venue! It was absolutely beautiful and gave me the exact feel and experience I wanted for a wedding. For those looking for elegance yet simplicity, and a venue that is responsive and overall wonderful to work with, you have to go with Locust Hill Barn!

Locust Hill Barn is truly one of the most versatile and beautiful event venues I’ve experienced. I’ve attended multiple weddings there, and what stands out every time is how completely unique each event feels. The barn itself provides a stunning, rustic backdrop with high ceilings, natural light, and a warm, inviting atmosphere, but it’s also flexible enough to allow each host to fully personalize the space. No two events ever feel the same. The outdoor area is just as incredible and truly elevates the venue. The landscaping, open green space, and picturesque pond create a peaceful, scenic setting that is perfect for ceremonies, cocktail hours, and gathering spaces for guests. It’s especially beautiful in the evening and provides a perfect backdrop for photos and relaxed conversation. I also had the opportunity to host my own event there and it was absolutely perfect. The setting elevated every detail, from the décor to the overall guest experience. In addition, the owners were incredibly responsive and professional throughout the entire process. Communication was prompt and clear, and they were accommodating, organized, and genuinely invested in making each event run smoothly. Their attention to detail and willingness to help made planning significantly less stressful. Whether you’re planning a wedding, shower, or special gathering, Locust Hill Barn offers the ideal combination of beauty, flexibility, and charm. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a venue that allows you to truly make the space your own while still providing a naturally stunning setting.

As a bridesmaid in a wedding held at Locust Hill I can give an honest review that the owners did everything to make the brides day perfect. This is a family owned venue where no detail goes unnoticed. The event coordinator Lauren goes above and beyond to ensure each step of the day goes smoothly and is always one step ahead.

This venue is a gem in Columbia County! The beauty of the barn is just the perfect canvass to make your wedding day exactly how you want it to be. Not to mention, the event coordinator is amazing to work with and has great recommendations of vendors that are familiar with the space. We had our wedding there almost five years ago and still get comments on how beautiful the spot was. Our wedding was in the fall, but I’ve also attended two weddings here in the summer and love how different the space can be transformed in the different seasons with the colors of the surrounding landscape. I couldn’t believe the number of our friends and family the barn fit comfortably with still plenty of room for dancing! There is not one thing you could possibly be disappointed with here!

We have been to two weddings and a gala at this venue and each one was stunning! We would highly recommend choosing this place for your special day!

I have attended weddings here along with other events. Absolutely beautiful in each and every way! The barn and landscaping are aging to perfection with new updates each year. Wonderful family to work with that will go the extra mile to make sure everything is perfect.

We could not have asked for a better venue for our wedding. From the beautiful scenery, their incredible vendor recommendations, and the help from Lauren and Brooke during the day of, the wedding went off without a hitch. They were always there to answer any questions we had prior to the big day and made what seems like a very overwhelming task (hosting a wedding) feel like the easiest thing we’ve ever done. When asked about wedding venues, The Barn at Locust Hill will always be my top recommendation.

This venue was great! The area was amazing with great scenery. The staff is very friendly and helpful as well. I would recommend for anyone looking for that classic country vibe for their next big event!

We are so happy that we went with Locust Hill for our wedding. The venue was absolutely beautiful, and a perfect location for people to attend either from the NYC area coming upstate, or those coming from the Albany/Hudson Valley area. The venue is easy to access, and there is no confusion as to how to get there. Lauren, the coordinator is fantastic to work with and provided helpful insight and her time to us throughout the entire process. The greenery in the summer at the barn is so beautiful, and they now have a beautiful patio that you can have your cocktail hour at. They have a prep kitchen as well that many caterers will appreciate. We loved working with them from the start and are so grateful for their involvement in our special day!

Locust hill barn was absolutely amazing! The venue is gorgeous, very open, tons of room for a large dance floor! It’s was a lot of fun to rearrange the barn exactly how we wanted it, and decorate to really whatever we wanted! Lauren and Brooke were amazing to work with, easy going and made sure everything was how we wanted it! They also added a beautiful outdoor patio space that was covered and guest really enjoyed being outside. They have tables and chairs which was really nice to not stress about renting and we got to set up days before to make sure everything was perfect. I highly Recommend booking this venue, you won’t regret this choice!

We had our wedding at Locust Hill Barn on 9/17/2022 and could not have asked for a better venue! The grounds and ceremony site were beautiful thanks to the natural beauty of the area and the barn itself is absolutely gorgeous both inside and out. We got received so many compliments on the venue from our guests. Lauren was a joy to work with! She was very helpful leading up to our big day and kept things running smoothly throughout the night. It was so helpful that we were able to use the venue leading up to our wedding to set things up ourselves ahead of time. In our search for venues we found that Locust Hill Barn provided so much flexibility, included amenities, and had such a convenient location compared to other venues in the area. We would highly recommend this venue looking for a spot to host your event!
