Lockheart Gables Romantic Bed & Breakfast Reviews

We loved everything about this place. They let you pick the set up and how you want all the tables done. They let you have music however you want (we just made a playlist to save on the stress of a DJ, and live music during the wedding ceremony). They provided the minister, and helped with the rehearsal so that on the day of everything went smoothly. I honestly don't know why anyone has given them less than 5's, this was perfect. When you have your wedding here they let you stay one night in the B&B itself, GORGEOUS, and the breakfast in the morning, delicious. We stayed two nights, and had the best homemade cinnamon rolls I have ever tasted.

This is an absolutely beautiful place to have a wedding. I would highly recommend it. The cottages are great for spending your first night or just getting ready! Can't wait to go back for our anniversary.

Kelly and Bill were amazing to work with. They were very accessible throughout my planning process and were easy to work with. On my biggest day, when I was about to have a meltdown because everything was going wrong (except services provided by this vendor), Kelly stepped in and calmed me down, helped me through the situations and worked extremely hard to make my day and my ceremony perfect. A stay at the bed and breakfast was included with our ceremony, and we couldn't have asked for a nicer place for the perfect end to our day. The beds and bedding were super comfortable, rooms were clean and extremely spacious, service was exceptional, and breakfast the next morning was superb! We thoroughly enjoyed all of it!!

Lockheart Gables is a bed and breakfast, but has also purchased a nearby church and turned it into a wedding chapel. It is gorgeous! We absolutely loved it, and the coordinator, Lianne was great. We moved our wedding up by 4 months and they were able to accommodate us and didn't charge us a fee or give us any hassle about moving the date. David and Marilynn own the B&B and David officiated the wedding. We also stayed in one of their adorable cottages on our wedding night and it was so comfortable and the breakfast was out of this world!

If your looking for an inexpensive yet place for a small wedding, this is it. Their outdoor garden is and waterfall are beautiful and makes a nice setting for an outdoor wedding.

Nice place but, we not was able to bring food, because the owner don't want mess!, the cake was so tiny, horrible made very unprofessional, not pretty!,the owner made it!, but everybody put in the trash, the drinks too, the owner prepare the drinks too, flavor not nice, and the best part, be prepare to clean everything because the lady ( owner is very picky), she don't organize very well, to be in this business, pastor was ok.
Not recommended, if you want something perfect. we pay $2000 for this, the price is ok, if the cake was made professionally, but the owner want all made herself and is very unprofessional, you don't have freedom to bring you own food!, you need to order from catering place and only what the owner let you order!, and not order regular food, because the owner don't want you make a mess!, she rent this place but you need to clean it!, is ridiculous!.
The owner lady don't have nice attitude too!, but I'm very pacient person, please read you contract, before you pay and check other places before you pick this, maybe you will pay more and you will have nice wedding!, ahh and the owner don't want you put loud music and speakers too!, internet don't work too, we don't have music because that, for short time until we use our own internet, you don't hear nothing from the back because the owner lady don't want noise!, can you believe it!, was very unplacent wedding, my guesses left early!, ahhh and the kids can't go inside of the house, because the owner lady ( kelly) don't want kids inside too, so you be prepare to have all you kids out side!!!!, I feel sorry for my guesses with kids!.
I'm very honest on this review because, I don't know how this people is on business!, but young people are not thinking!, and paying for this bad deal!, we don't have other option because we lost our spot in other nice place. For the same money.
So we have to get this place with the day that we need.
