Birthday Dinner
Ben was able to accommodate some last minute changes to my quote and the table was delivered and setup without any issues. In person, the table looked much better than the pictures and the notches added to the authentic farmhouse vibe. The chairs were surprisingly comfortable and none of our dinner guest complained during the 2 hour dinner. We will definitely be using their services in the future. -

I absolutely loved the wood tables from Local Wood. They were perfect for the aesthetic of my wedding and easy to incorporate. No issues with delivery to the venue and Ben was flexible when I needed to make changes to the order.

Local wood was recommended to me by my wedding planner. I loved the farmhouse tables he rented us. We found out the tuesday before the wedding that we weren't able to use the wine barrels anymore, and local wood added them onto our rental no problem! -

We were so excited to find Ben and his team as we wanted to mix in beautiful farm tables with our other tables at our wedding reception. All of the larger rental companies do not have anything close to the quality and style of these tables. They made the drop off and pick up super easy. Would highly recommend! -

Our venue (Tranquility Farm) recommended Local Wood rentals for our reception dining tables, and they were so easy to work with. Ben was responsive over the phone and email, and helped us tweak the order even last minute, as we had to rearrange seating as RSVPs started rolling in and a couple guests dropped out last minute. Our venue owner managed the delivery and pickup since all parties were flexible on timing, so I didn’t have to deal with any of that.
Do make a note though that the wood dining tables (3 ft x 6 ft, and 3 ft x 8 ft) are super heavy. We had planned to use them also for the rehearsal dinner in the venue courtyard, but we quickly decided it was easier to put tablecloths on folding tables than carry 4-5 wood tables from the barn where Local Wood had set them up (and back again!) -

My name is Maria and I am a wedding planner with Vida Events. I worked with Local Wood (Ben) for a wedding on May 25, 2019 at Tranquility Farm. Communication with them has always been easy - they are very responsive. They also have always been on time and set up according to a floor plan. Their products are gorgeous - you dont need much decor because you dont want to cover the beautiful wood tables. A great choice for venues that dont offer reception tables - or for couples that want to upgrade what their venue already offers. Great company and team! -
Janelle Sent on 07/13/2018Local Wood provided our wedding tables for our barn style wedding. They provided the bars as well and they were GORGEOUS and rustic- exactly the look we were going for! We had originally chosen round tables from the rental company, but after deciding on the exact look we wanted, we shopped the quality and price and Local Wood was VERY comparable which helped us keep within our budget. Ben Carpenter was my direct point of contact and was very prompt in responding and any questions about details that I had. I would recommend them to everyone!

Anita Sent on 06/17/2018We used Local Wood Event Rentals for our wedding farm tables and a wine barrel for the cake stand. They were by far the best price in the area for farm tables and the tables were beautiful! They also are extremely accomodating and easy to work with. Ben was wonderful, and was very flexible with my continuously changing needs; he even offered to build benches for the farm tables a month before the wedding because we were short on chairs. I 100% recommend them for events! They are the best of the best.

Service was impeccable, delivery was on time, the team that set up the tables was polite, professional and efficient. They worked hard to place the tables exactly in the right place and stayed to help until we were happy with the layout. Each table was wiped down and polished on location before being put into place. The team showed immaculate attention to every detail.
The tables themselves are beautiful! They are hand crafted from local trees felled on properties in Loundon County. Tables were in immaculate condition and looked great with the vintage china and chairs that we mixed and matched to highlight the wood. This is a multi-generational, family owned and run business. I received kid glove attention in their showroom and office by the owners themselves. Go check out their new location in Leesburg, VA. They do a lot more than just event rentals. I was very impressed.
Owner, Ben Carpenter, replied to emails immediately throughout our planning process, every time, no matter what time I sent them! As a seasoned event and international tour planner, I choose to work only with businesses who make my job easy and stress-free. Local Wood is at the top of my list!! I love everything about this business!
