DJ Perfection!!!

BEST WEDDING DJ out there! We cannot express how much we love Geoff and his lovely wife/assistant Grace! After working with them for many years, my wedding planner recommended them. And the minute we met him we quickly saw why. He’s warm, confident, and has such a contagious energy that you can’t help but be happy and excited around him. You can tell how much he loves what he does. In our meetings with him and emails he guided us on everything, he took in our music preferences, and got us more and more pumped for the big day. My family is Haitian and my husband’s family is Irish-American from New England so we needed to make sure there was music for everyone in our blended families. And Geoff made us feel confident in him that he could deliver as he is a lover of all music and blending cultures. We shared particular songs to play in this regard and completely trusted him.

And then on our wedding day (4.12.24), he DELIVERED! He was FANTASTIC! He found effortless ways to satisfy all cultures and got everyone on the dancefloor. He perfectly balanced MCing and DJing. And was awesome with dealing with last minute changes. He was fun and energetic when he was on the mic. He did a phenomenal job—everyone loved him. Him and Grace were honestly one of the highlights of our wedding experience. We cannot recommend them enough!!!

Wouldn't want any other DJ!

DJ Dan did an absolutely flawless job with our wedding, his announcing was excellent, kept everything on time, his song transitions were perfect, our dance floor was packed all night. Before the wedding Dan was very responsive, accommodating, personable, and his attention to even the smallest details was very much appreciated. I’ve been to 5 other weddings he’s done and they all ran flawlessly. 10/10 is an understatement.

Danny went above and beyond to make our wedding the day of our dreams. He was professional and had such a great attention to detail in both the planning and the day of. He made us, feel so comfortable and welcomed that we could just relax and enjoy the moment. I could not recommend more.

Best Dj and Photo ever!

Geoff and Gracie were literally the most amazing! We had the most hyped up and amazing wedding with Geoff’s Dj-ing and the photobooth was an amazing hit with the guest, Gracie was awesome

Wedding 11/8/24

This company was great- Dan was hired as the DJ for our wedding 11/8/24. He was fabulous. He was very easy to communicate with and cared about what was important and special to us. He was very accommodating- last minute he played an instrumental song so that I could sing to my husband as a surprise! Dan made our wedding a party to remember.

Couldn't be happier

Geoff was excellent! Two of our other vendors recommended him and we are so glad we got to work with him and his wife. He was communicative and very responsive leading up to the wedding. We felt very comfortable with him and felt like he really listened to us. He had people on the dance floor all night and did a great job feeling the vibe of the crowd and adjusting accordingly. He went above and beyond creating a custom mix for my dad and I's dance. We couldn't be happier!

Best DJ ever!!!

I can’t say enough good things about Local Motion Entertainment, specifically DJ Danny. He was incredible. He made the entire process leading up to the wedding so easy, and executed our vision perfectly. The music/vibe for our wedding was so important to us and Danny was the perfect fit. He kept the party going until the very end and gave us and our guests the most fun night. He also did uplighting for us and it changed the whole room. It was the cherry on top to a perfect night! Cannot recommend him and Local Motion enough!

Simply Perfection

Bill was absolutely phenomenal and played a huge role in making our wedding day so special! From the very beginning, he was incredibly professional, organized, and easy to work with. He took the time to truly understand our music preferences and vision for the reception, and he went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. He was incredibly responsive throughout the entire planning process, answering all of our questions and offering helpful suggestions. On the day of the wedding, he kept the energy high and the dance floor packed all night long! Exceeded Expectations

First of all, Geoff and Grace, from Local Motion Entertainment, are by far two of the nicest people you will ever meet! My fiance and I were lucky enough to book them for our D.J. for our wedding in Simsbury last month. From our first meeting, they were both so kind and so easy to work with. Our dance floor was full while Geoff played all of the songs that we asked for, and Grace was busy all night helping our guests have fun at the photo booth we requested. Geoff and Grace are hard workers and did everything to make our night so much fun for us, and our guests. Thank you, Geoff and Grace!

Highly recommend Local Motion, specifically DJ Marco!

From the get go, my husband and I loved the informative and prompt responses from Geoff, the owner of Local Motion, and his staff. Before officially booking Local Motion for our July 2024 wedding we did a Zoom call with Marco, the DJ Geoff said was available for the wedding just to see if we vibed. We couldn't have been happier! Marco not only made an effort to get to know the overall vibe we were going for for our wedding, he got to know us as a couple; and it paid off when it came to the wedding. Marco's chill and friendly demeanor set him apart amongst the DJs we spoke with. I requested minimal songs because I was super confident in his skills, and it worked out perfectly! Our guests had a phenomenal time and the music was wonderful. Thank you so much Marco and all of Local Motion for helping make our wedding day so special!

The best dj

Geoff Pusko and his wife Grace did a stellar job from the initial meetings to the wedding day. They provided top notch service and support. Geoff was super attentive and really got to know my husband and I during our calls. He was able to tune into our music preferences while also really catering to all of our guests. We also opted for the photo booth add on and it was quite the hit! A great memento to take away and remember the night. I hope to work with both of them in some capacity in the future!! Book him immediately- you won't be disappointed!!

Hire Geoff and Gracie!

We loved working with Geoff and Gracie. We initially met Geoff at another friends wedding shortly after getting engaged and knew we had to hire him. He has such a warm presence and truly cares about his couples. Then, in the weeks leading up to our wedding, him and Gracie were amazing with communication and answering questions. When we met with him for our final planning meeting and went over requests, he simply said “I see your vision” and he delivered. Our dance floor was packed the entire reception and we all had so much fun. I cannot recommend Geoff and Gracie enough. Their energy as partners and as a married couple themselves really shines through and made our day even more special.

Amazing experience!

We are so glad we hired Geoff of Local Motion Entertainment as our wedding DJ. Geoff came highly recommended from a few of our vendors; from our initial inquiry to the end of our wedding night everything went extremely well. Geoff really cares about your experience and understands the magnitude of the occasion--It is all about you! Geoff and his wife Grace are helpful and responsive throughout the entire process and we really appreciated their attentiveness. When we met Geoff to review our final details he was calm, easy to talk to, and made us feel so relaxed and happy with our decision. It was no different on our wedding day as Geoff and Grace just have a knack for making you feel comfortable and confident. My wife and I practiced our first dance during cocktail hour and Geoff hyped us up! It made a huge difference for us. I remember a good friend coming up to me later in the night and he said "the DJ is cooking!"
The fine people at Local Motion Entertainment are true professionals and they played a big role in our wedding day being so special. Their pricing is very fair for the service and professionalism that they provide. I highly recommend Local Motion. Geoff & Grace, we cannot thank you enough!

Local Motion will make your wedding and unforgettable night

We’ve spent the last few weeks basking in how special our wedding day was and how perfectly everything turned out - and Geoff and the Local Motion team were a huge part in that. The music throughout the day, from the ceremony and cocktail hour all the way through to the final song of the night, was absolutely spot on and helped bring to life the exact vibe we dreamed of creating that day (along with the uplighting!). So many of our friends and family commented on how great Geoff was throughout the night and how sad they were when the reception had to come to an end. We were so appreciative to Geoff for constantly checking in on us during the night as well - we couldn’t have dreamed up a better team and truly appreciate everything they did for us leading up to and on the big day.

Best dj ever!

I recommend Geoff and his wife Grace to everyone I know getting married! He listened to everything we wanted and more. He was so thorough with the information he got from us ahead of time on the type of music we liked/disliked as well as our “must play songs.” He got the vibe of our cocktail hour music perfectly too! He picked the best music, and handled the audio of our ceremony beautifully (even talking to our officiant ahead of time on where/how to direct the microphone). He kindly checked in on us before the ceremony, and did phenomenal with all of the introductions and announcements we planned ahead of time. I can’t tell you how many people said we had the best DJ they’d ever seen—I’m serious! He kept the dance floor going and he was 100% one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. We so enjoyed working with him! If you need a DJ, definitely book Geoff!

Everything we wanted and more!

Geoff and Gracie were PHENOMENAL at our wedding in early September this year. My husband found Geoff almost a year ago, and he called me after he initially met up with Geoff saying “We absolutely have to book this guy. I would trust him with anything. I can’t imagine anyone else being our DJ”. Safe to say, he was right! Geoff handled our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception music. He was an excellent emcee and DJ; we didn’t leave the dance floor the entire night! His wife, Gracie, helped out with our photo booth which was also a massive hit with our guests. Great wedding and planning process—would recommend!

We hired Geoff for our 8/18 wedding and are so happy with our decision! We had a blast at our wedding and our guests all had a fantastic time. Geoff and Grace were so easy to work throughout our engagement and planning process. We love that they were familiar with our venue (Lake of Isles) and had worked weddings there prior. It was so great working with Geoff from Local Motion Entertainment. He was professional, knowledgeable, and took care of every detail. He was not only a DJ, but emcee and really the host for our entire wedding. I truly believe our wedding went as well as it did because of Geoff and his wife who also came to assist. Incredible, magical, and highly recommended

I think the highest compliment I can give to our DJ, Marco, is my friend said he didn’t think it was possible for a DJ to be TOO good but Marco was because he (my friend) missed the dessert and late night snacks because Marco had us dancing so hard all night (don’t worry we got leftovers). Marco was INCREDIBLE. He dealt with our last minute changes and my decision paralysis when we got closer to the wedding and he never pressured us and everything was perfect. He stayed until the very end, was professional and kind. Above all he also read the room incredibly well. He eased us into dancing and then got into what we all liked as an entire group. I’m pretty sure my feet still hurt because I was dancing so much. Cannot recommend this company and Marco enough.

Best. DJ. Ever!!!!

Bill Mazzucco DJ'd our wedding and nobody could've done a better job. Leading up to the big day, we had a few conversations on how we wanted the night to go, the order of events, and the general vibe we wanted. He made things stress-free for us and was a great communicator. We gave him a couple "must play" songs and let him do his thing for the rest - so glad we did. He orchestrated the ceremony and reception masterfully. He ensured the night flowed smoothly from speeches to music and everything in between. We had a full dance floor the whole time. He played a perfect mix of old and new songs, slow and upbeat songs, and he had impeccable timing with every single one. We've had so many guests come up to us during the wedding and after and rave about how good he was. The man is a master at what he does, and we'd recommend using him to anybody. In fact, my sister and cousin used him for their big days, too, and we can’t wait to have him at our next family event! If you’re looking for an incredibly fun, talented, reasonably-priced and organized DJ, Bill is your guy.

Geoff and team are incredible. We cannot recommend them enough. Not only was Geoff so nice and asked thoughtful questions when we were first introduced, but throughout the entire wedding planning process, my husband and I knew we were going to have the best time at our reception, thanks to the Local Motion Team. The dance floor was packed and Geoff just knew how to read the group and each and every song was a hit! Beyond that, we had an issue with our guest shuttle service, resulting in our cocktail hour and reception being pushed back a half hour, and Geoff and team stayed later out of the goodness of their hearts and the love of a great party. We are so appreciative of their service and cannot recommend them enough. By far, my favorite wedding DJ of all time!

LME/Geoff is the best DJ!

We are so lucky to have had LME/Geoff as our DJ at the New Haven Lawn Club! Geoff provided the lighting and reception music and it couldn't have been any more perfect. Everyone danced and sang the whole night, every song was played perfectly! Hire them immediately!

Geoff and Grace did an incredible job DJing our wedding! We could not have been happier with their work, both during the wedding and in the planning process. Our guests are still raving about the music selections weeks later, and Geoff did such a good job working with our requests and personal music taste. Even my mother, who is a professional classical musician, was really happy with the music! Geoff also brought an infectious positive energy to the entire process -- we looked forward to each meeting with him, and on the big day, he really made me, my husband, and the wedding party feel at ease. He went over all the logistics for the reception and made sure to pronounce everyone's names exactly right for the introductions. I cannot say enough positive things about Geoff and Grace, and if you're lucky enough to find availability with them, I recommend snapping them up immediately!

A Night To Remember

My wife and I couldn't have made a better choice than choosing Geoff as our DJ for the wedding. Our meeting with him prior to the wedding was very welcoming and thorough; he was keen on getting to know us so he could make our day as special as it was. Geoff has strong attention to detail and made great suggestions throughout the process which made it easier to determine how we wanted the day to go.

The day of was executed flawlessly, and the dance floor was the place to be! Our guests had a blast dancing and listening to his music, so much so that my father recommended him to his company and he's now performing at their holiday party later this year. We would recommend Geoff to anyone!

Great experience

My partner and I hired Geoff and Grace for our wedding at Eolia Mansion and we could not have had a better experience.

Prior to speaking with them we were pretty worried about finding a DJ. We were having a somewhat small, low-key wedding and we weren’t necessarily looking for a very intense party vibe. We also had a potentially tricky set-up at our venue. Our first call with Geoff completely put us at ease - we felt like the general vibe of our wedding was understood, and Geoff had experience with the venue and was not at all concerned about set-up.

Geoff worked with us to plan out the evening (and was patient when we made last-minute changes). We had a fairly long list of “do not plays” and some unusual requests and Geoff managed this all perfectly. After dinner, Geoff & Grace had our guests dancing for the rest of the evening. Our friends and family were telling us about how fantastic our DJ was for weeks after the wedding.

Above all, Geoff and Grace were professional, kind, and very skilled at what they do. The night flowed smoothly and felt genuinely warm and welcoming, in no small part because of the tone that they helped set.

Absolutely Incredible!

I can't say enough about how amazing Local Motion is!!! Geoff was the DJ for our wedding and went above and beyond to make it an incredible experience for both us and our guests! From the beginning, we hit it off with Geoff and he worked hard to make sure our big day was everything we wanted it to be. Geoff came highly recommended from many couples who had worked with him and he still exceeded our expectations! He tailored the entire night to really represent "us" and the feeling we were looking for. I lost track of how many compliments we got on our DJ and how awesome he was! Everyone had an amazing night dancing and the energy all started with Geoff! He really puts his all into his work and I have nothing but praise for the amazing job he does. I can't recommend him enough!

Best wedding DJ we’ve seen!

Danny DJed our wedding (200 guests) and we were BLOWN AWAY!! He listened attentively to what we wanted, and worked closely with us to make sure we were on the same page and make sure we had the same vision for our wedding day. From the level of DJ presence on the mic, to the music choices, Danny made us feel like we were heard in the lead up to our wedding.
On the day of our wedding he was incredible!! He has a great ability to mix songs seamlessly, and all the music he picked was perfect. We had many people approach us to say how great he was! To top it off, he was supremely professional. He made sure to speak with everyone giving a toast to ensure smooth run of show, and he made recommendations in the moment to help the flow of the event run more smoothly that totally paid off!! Thanks to Danny the dance floor was packed!! He also got all the little things right, like making sure the music wasn’t too loud during dinner and keeping an eye on us to make sure the night unfolded perfectly for us specifically. I can’t recommend Local Motion, and Danny specifically, highly enough!!

True Professional

We hired Dan to DJ our wedding of roughly 120 people. I actually discovered him some years back when I attended one of my best friends sisters weddings. It just so happens that my friend has 4 sisters & let’s just say, after the 1st one Dan solidified his position in all of the subsequent weddings. Not only does he have a pivotal understanding of the timing & blend regarding the music selection. He is also an outstanding event coordinator that will not hesitate to step in instinctually if plans go off course. Dan also displays excellent communication skills with a refreshing splash of humor to lighten the mood. To wrap it up, we couldn’t have selected a better DJ on our special night. We have 2 more weddings to attend with him running the show & I already know they are in great hands. Thank you again, Dan.

From the moment my fiance and I hung up our first Zoom call with Geoff, we knew we wanted to hire him. He is kind, joyful, understanding, and always cares about you first. Amazing Entertainment

Local Motion Entertainment, headed by Geoff and Grace, did an amazing job at our wedding. They were able to intertwine music from two different nationalities and combine music from today’s music scene to create the most memorable experience for us and our families. Simply the best

Geoff was amazing from start to finish. He and his wife are attentive, accommodating, and superb DJs. Awesome DJ for our wedding!

DJ Dan Schmidt was above and beyond what we could have asked for. He listened to all our requests and what we wanted for our wedding. Music was important and we wanted everyone on the dance floor and he made that happen! Excellent communication and responded immediately to all my texts. His personality was just the best and totally fit with me and my husband. He even had the idea to through in a little fun for our guests with a Yankees/Red Sox song battle. Our guests thought that was so fun! He was super helpful in cutting some of our dance songs to the right amount of time and timed our wedding parties intro dance perfectly. It was like working with a friend I would HIGHLY recommend DJ Dan for your wedding!! Definitely 5 stars and if I could give more I would!

This DJ team go above and beyond!!!

The quality of the meals and the music were my main priority when planning our wedding. I am familiar and happy with the venue so I focused on finding a DJ with a deep knowledge of music from different genres and decades (I’m a huge Motown fan). From the very beginning, Geoff listened to my preference in music, asked about my partner’s likes/dislikes and comfortability with being in the spotlight. Geoff and Grace genuinely took interest in what was important to us, worked around changes without any issues and were always responsive/available. We were married a month ago and since then, I have heard firsthand and secondhand how phenomenal the DJ was from both our younger and older guest (which is not easy to accomplish!). He read the room perfectly and played so many great songs that the dance floor was never empty. It was the best night of my life and I could not have said that without Grace and Geoff! They truly care about their clients and make them feel as if they are their only client!

Awesome DJ!

We hired Geoff for our February wedding at the New Haven Lawn Club and cannot recommend him more! In addition to DJing, Geoff and his wife Gracie also provided uplighting and a photobooth. We really loved getting the photobooth guestbook at the end of the night and had so much fun looking through the video messages our guests left for us the next day.

In each of our meetings, Geoff took the time to understand our vision for the evening and helped us with recommendations when we asked. Most importantly, he kept the dance floor packed all night and our guests had a great time!

The BEST ending DJ

We hired Geoff to deejay our wedding and couldn’t have had a better experience. Music was super important to us - and Geoff made sure to work with us on every little detail to ale sure all our song choices were perfect.

We wanted a PARTY and sure did he deliver - he kept our guests on the dance floor all night long. He consistently checked in with us throughout the night to make sure things were to our liking.

Incredible Experience with Geoff!

I can’t begin to express how instrumental Geoff was to our wedding. We hired Geoff in January 2020 right before Covid and he worked with us through a postponement as we had to push our wedding out a year to 12.31.21. He was not only flexible from a business perspective, but was always positive and encouraging via email amid our worries and uncertainty and it meant so much to us. He not only delivered an awesome set that fit our music taste and style, but was truly the MC of the night making sure things went smoothly and everyone knew what they were doing when it came to entrances, dances, etc. All our friends and family came up to us during and after the wedding asking about his business and saying how amazing he was. He was a great vendor to work with, but also such a genuine and kind person as well. Can’t recommend him enough!

Amazing DJ and MC!

Geoff and Grace were one of our favorite wedding day vendors! Leading up to our wedding they were flexible and easy, in our meeting Geoff had great suggestions and made us very excited for our wedding day. On our wedding day he had the best party energy while still being professional and made me feel so at ease when some things went wrong. As an MC Geoff is great and seamless, he mastered announcing tricky names like he had been saying them all his life and incorporated all our songs throughout the night. From the moment we booked Danny, we knew he was a fantastic fit for us. He was responsive, organized, professional, fun, and invested in making our dance floor an absolute blast. We met with Danny in person twice and spoke on the phone 2-3 times leading up to the wedding. He gave us autonomy in making decisions, but guided us when a professional opinion was needed. BEST wedding DJ!

Danny at Local Motion made our day absolutely fantastic!! From the start he was responsive and wonderful to work with! He was very detail-oriented in what music we wanted to play and when, and on the day of he was skilled in playing exactly the type of music we were looking for. We also had a lot of choreographed dances and he made them flow seamlessly, fading out the music exactly as we wanted it. His announcements were fun and professional, and the volume of the music the entire night was perfect. He was also flexible when our introductions slightly changed the day of. Everything truly went off perfectly, and our guests all expressed how great he was as well! We were dancing the whole night to wonderful music. We couldn’t have asked for anything better! We had originally heard of Geoff from a friend that used him for their wedding. As soon as we met with him, we knew that he would be the perfect DJ for ours. Incredible Experience - Highly Recommend

Geoff and Gracie are an incredible team and we cannot recommend them enough! They are kind, responsive, great at their job (our guests had a BLAST!) and they are always available to answer questions. They did a magnificent job learning about us as a couple and what sort of music/vibe we wanted for the reception. When we had to reschedule our wedding date, they were extremely flexible and understanding. We highly recommend Local Motion Entertainment!

Geoff was amazing!

My husband and I could not be more happy that we picked Geoff to DJ our wedding. He was such a pleasure to work with from our first call, through the very last song at our reception. Geoff made sure he knew how to properly pronounce the names of everyone in our wedding party when he introduced them, and we had some tough ones! Geoff knows how to read the group! He got everyone on the dance floor and kept it going all night long! We really felt like Geoff understood the types of music we love and incorporated all of it into our day. Music is a big part of our life and it made the big moments of our wedding day so much more special and memorable. We got so many compliments from our guests about how great Geoff was and how much they loved the music selection all night long! On top of it, Geoff was so great about keeping the night moving so smoothly, everything was perfect!

Best dj ever!

Geoff was absolutely AMAZING! Very responsive, never had any communication issues. He thought of every question possible to make sure our night ran smoothly and helped us with our time-line. He kept the party going until the end. Couldn't be happier!

No one left the dance floor

We had a COVID rescheduled wedding from July 2020 to July 2021. Geoff was present, available, and understanding the whole time. He made this process as easy as it could be. We even had to make some last minute changes at the beginning of the reception and he was so flexible with it. He and his wife put on quite the show and experience for our guests, we had the best time!! 2 months later and our quests are still raving how amazing our DJ was. People were on the dance floor the whole night. If you haven't chose a DJ yet, give him a call!

Absolutely amazing!!!

Geoff went above and beyond for our wedding. We knew from the minute we met with him that he was so sweet and genuine. On our wedding day, he and Gracie were amazing! They did everything to make sure our guests had a great time and everyone that interacted with them told us how great they were!

Best Decision!

Local Motion is the best in the business! Logan and I worked with Kevin Marshall over the past 2 years due to postponing our August 2020 wedding to August 2021. Kevin was so easy to work with and took all of our stress away with having to move our wedding. We couldn't have been more grateful. When it came down to our big day, all of our guests raved about how great he was. Everyone was dancing up until the very last song including the groom and I. He made our wedding so much fun! I would recommend him and the company again and again!

Thankful for Billy

Last year, Billy helped provide sound for our backyard ceremony. This year, he was able to DJ our reception.

Amazing dj

Dan was so amazing! Always on top of things when needed to be done! He had the whole wedding dancing all night long! Highly recommend local motion! We had so many compliments that the music was great!

Danny to the Rescue!

We had Danny for our wedding and you could not ask for a better DJ! He is so friendly, generous and totally patient. He kept that dance floor bumping all night long, he mixing skills are totally fluid and on point. You could hardly tell when one song ended and a new one started.
We had musicians performing at our ceremony and when we signed up for a package, we were told it would include a mic and speakers for our officiant. Lo and behold, the week before the wedding, we found out it did not, which forced us to quickly come up with a solution. This is where Danny saved the day! He gave us a discount on a wireless setup for our ceremony and it worked perfectly!

We cannot recommend Danny enough. He truly is a gem and you would not be disappointed having him at your wedding!

Highly recommend!

Local Motion was amazing to work with. Marco was the DJ for our wedding and he was great. We got compliments on the music from our guests and everyone was on the dance floor. We are so glad we booked with them. We also used their photo booth at our reception which was all digital and allowed guests to text photos/videos/boomerangs directly to their phones. It was super easy and it was a huge hit!

Wonderful Experience with DJ!

My husband and I worked with Geoff from Local Motion and we are so happy that we did! He came highly recommended by my brother, my cousin, and a family friend who all had wonderful experiences with him.

He was absolutely amazing to work with! He was incredibly patient with us, as Covid pushed us to move our wedding twice. Geoff communicated very well with us during the different stages of our moves, and I never felt as though I was a bother to him (even with all of my emails). He worked with us every step of the way.

Appointments with Geoff were both laid back and productive. His top priority is making sure that you and your partner get exactly what you want on your big day and he certainly followed through for us! He and his wife were professional, energetic, and a pleasure to work with on the day of our wedding :)

No better DJ

Geoff was beyond professional and accommodating. He played great music and checked on my wife and I throughout the wedding asking if there was anything he could do to help. We also had to postpone from our original date in 2020 and Geoff helped every step of the way in getting a new date with him secured. Wedding planning can be stressful but after meeting with Geoff we felt way more comfortable knowing our wedding was in good hands. I highly recommend Geoff Pusko as your DJ.

Great company with excellent DJs

We originally met with Marco (who seemed wonderful for the record) - when we postponed our wedding he was no longer available and Kevin picked us up readily! Communication was excellent prior to our wedding and when we finally met him in person it was great. He made the statement that I didn’t need to worry about anything and that he was going to coordinate everything on the day of, and that really wowed me and made me finally understand that I was hiring professionals for a reason - to take that burden and stress off of myself.

Kevin certainly delivered on that promise on our wedding day, setting everything up and coordinating the flow of the events at our reception. He accommodated our Lebanese music requests perfectly, and really made the effort to get name pronunciations right. Once I was finally able to relax and enjoy the dance floor at the end of the night it was so much fun! The night was a whirlwind for me but whenever I had a chance to stop and look around, everyone seemed to be having a fantastic time and that was in large part due to Kevin’s skill at what he does!

Highly Recommend Local Motion Entertainment

We recently hired Local Motion Entertainment for our wedding in Milford, CT. They were excellent. I would absolutely recommend them to everyone.

We worked with Geoff from the very beginning with the initial quote through the night of the wedding. He was awesome to work with.
He was great about keeping in touch during the wedding planning, and he really had a feel for what we were looking for music wise.

Everything about the experience was 5 stars. We have no complaints. Everyone had a great time, and we thank Geoff and Local Motion Entertainment for doing an awesome job setting the tone and keeping the party going.

They were also very easy to work with package wise to ensure we had everything we wanted and didn't pay for anything extra we didn't need.

Great experience working with Geoff from our very first conversation down to our goodbyes the day of. Wonderful Experience (despite COVID-related cancellation!)

Geoff is an absolute pleasure to work with, is extremely responsive to email, and was more than accommodating for COVID-related cancellations. He was actually the only vendor that offered to give me my deposit back, as my fiancee and I changed our plans to a courthouse wedding instead of a public event due to the pandemic. He was incredibly understanding through this difficult decision. I could not recommend him or this company enough for any event that you have (and hopefully we can use his services in the future :) )!! (also, the price reflected in this review was the two deposits worth that we had paid at the time of cancellation, not the entire service amount, which was graciously refunded)

Geoff is the man

From the moment we met with Geoff, we knew we made the right decision. He's so nice and & compassionate, even with our wedding venue getting shutdown the nigh before our wedding. Geoff, was the first person to contact us offering anything and everything he could to help us. He contacted us first thing the morning of our wedding. Our whole wedding experience changed from what is was originally supposed to be. Geoff was sure to stay in contact with us throughout the day for updates. Geoff and his wife Gracie arrived at our new venue and got straight to setting up sound equipment for our ceremony. Geoff made our small reception go off without a single snag. Everything was perfect.

So flexible, helpful, and fun! Geoff and Grace were so helpful and understanding as our wedding got turned upside down by the pandemic shutdowns. Hands down, THE BEST!

I first met Geoff in 2018, where he was recommended to my sister for her wedding. He did such an amazing job and was such a great addition to my sister's wedding I knew when it was my time to get married, he would be the first vendor I reached out to. Geoff was extremely flexible in helping me navigate through a wedding during a pandemic! My now husband and I decided to have a very small outdoor wedding in my parent's backyard. I called Geoff to talk about how this would definitely have a different vibe than a "normal" wedding and he nailed it. We had the best day ever, and so much of that is because of Geoff and his wife! From the phone calls prior to plan step by step the reception, to day of keeping everything running on track & smoothly. Can't recommend Local Motion Entertainment enough - he is a natural!

Laid-back and professional

A last minute emergency meant LocalMotion did not actually DJ our wedding. However the experience leading up to our wedding was too delightful not to mention. Geoff blew our expectations out of the water. He was professional and flexible with meeting with us prior to the wedding. We were 100% on the same page with music style and song choices.
Geoff is very easygoing and was truly a pleasure to work with.

Even though he did not end up DJing our wedding he found us a replacement that did an outstanding job. He handled the entire experience with such care and understanding that there was never a stressful moment. I would 100% recommend him for any of your upcoming events.

Danny is my DJ soulmate

From the moment my husband and I met with Danny, i knew he was "the one". His energy and excitement around our wedding and what we wanted to achieve for our day was palpable. I love that he immediately took our vision and started putting music and breathing energy into our day! At our final meeting, he offered suggestions and ideas on areas we hadn't thought of yet, but also was extremely flexible on things we hadn't quite decided on. I love that he was so responsive via text or email, always made us feel important and valued as a customer, and was genuinely so much fun to work with!
