Flawless!!

Liz was recommended by our venue, colonial heritage club, and working with her was the best decision we could have made! Liz is truly personally invested in making your wedding day magical. We were quite a rowdy bunch and liz 100% knows how to roll with the punches all while setting the tone and controlling the flow!!! Our ceremony and cocktail hour sound was perfectly executed, and the dance party was AMAZING!! Especially with the colored dancing lights, they made for amazing photos. Liz is THOROUGH, we met in person twice before the big day. We were completely at ease knowing Liz had our backs all night. Little did we know, she also was taking pictures and videos alllll night and sent them to us first thing the next morning which was AWESOME to have some behind the scenes pics to look at immediately. We cannot thank Liz and her team enough!!!

Greatest DJ ever!

Meeting Liz it felt like putting our wedding into such great hands that it felt like such a weight off of our shoulders. Liz will be a soldier at your side come your wedding day, making sure whatever vision you have in your head can come true. My husband and I met Liz through our venue (Colonial Heritage), and I’m so thankful she was their top recommendation. It was so effortless to work with her, we texted all the time and she was so quick to respond to every little exchange, and she knew our venue so she came out for our final walkthroughs to help make sure we didn’t miss little details that only a real professional like her would notice. On our day, we had to move our ceremony indoors, and Liz stepped up and helped make the space so beautiful, that everyone raved about it more than if we’d been outside. My favorite thing about her was she cared enough, and was kind enough, to pay attention to my mother’s wedding speech, and hear her mention a particular song that meant a lot to her, and then randomly worked it into her setlist, which created this incredible moment for my mother and I. You really can’t hire any better than that! If you’re looking for a DJ/MC, please don’t look any further than Liz Daley!

Absolutely Amazing!!

Liz Daley was the absolute best decision I could have made for entertainment at my wedding. Liz is very easy to work with and will answer any questions or concerns you have. She helps with day of coordinating to make sure everything is where it needs to be and keeps the flow, a master of ceremony, and DJ. We had multiple zoom meetings to go over the details to create a timeline including picking the music for the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. Everything went so smoothly the day of my wedding. Everyone was dancing their butts off the whole night and I have received tons and tons of compliments on how amazing the wedding was (even one of the best weddings they've been too). I would 100% highly recommend Liz Daley for a wedding.

We had a blast!

Having never planned a wedding, we heeded the advice and guidance that Liz provided. Liz had some great ideas regarding the flow from pre-ceremony through last dance. Mike Beene was not only our DJ he also served as Master of ceremonies guiding us seamlessly through our event. If you were to choose Liz Daley Events then you can rest assured your event will flow with ease. It can be extremely overwhelming to plan a wedding so it’s great having someone so experienced lending their expertise. Do yourself a favor and go with the best!

Liz Brings the Party!!

We hired Liz after loving her as the DJ at our friends’ wedding a few years ago! And we love her even more now! She really can do it all - she was our DJ, day-of-coordinator, and lighting specialist! She was so helpful and flexible when we moved our wedding back almost a year due to the pandemic. As the big day got closer, she was always in close contact, quick to respond, and organized (and helped us stay organized too!). The day of was SO MUCH FUN. All of our guests loved all of the special touches she brought to the wedding, especially her hilarious introductions of the bridal party!

Amazing Service

Our family can not say enough amazing things about Liz and how she helped with our wedding day. We had to move the wedding down to Virginia because of the pandemic and choose Liz because she was very quick to respond and listened to what was going to be needed. She did an awesome job keeping the ceremony moving as the coordinator. But even better were her great skills as a DJ. The music kept the reception hopping. Everyone was on the dance floor and having fun which was great in a time like this. Not having to worry about any timing of the day was a great way to relax and just enjoy the day. Liz was easy to work with and even came to the rehearsal to make sure everything was in order for the next day. We would highly recommend Liz to any wedding party. Hire her and your wedding will become a day of memories made and stress eliminated!

Amazing Experience!

Liz did such an amazing job with our small, intimate ceremony this past July! She was incredibly flexible, played everything that we wanted, and was able to read the crowd perfectly. She did a great job MCing when it was time for toasts and to pass the mic around, and kept the party lively. Such a wonderful person to work with, would definitely recommend!

Liz was the DJ/MC for our wedding reception with guests from ages 9 to 98. Even with such a wide range of musical eras and tastes, Liz kept this party lively and guests happy throughout. Wonderful!

I absolutely recommend Liz and her husband Steve (Photo Booth). Steve's photobooth was greatly cheesy (Which I loved). It allowed all the children and adults to have fun and let loose. We wound up with some great pictures and some fun memories. Liz was not just a DJ, but was a coordinator, photographer, officiant, waitress, and every other job you might need on your wedding day. Whatever I needed, she was there for. I was extremely hesitant in the beginning as she is more expensive than other DJs in the area, but Liz goes above and beyond. Her level of professionalism is top notch. She does have a great sense of humor, but at the end of the day everything is business. She does whatever she can do to get the job done to your satisfaction. She is so organized and communication is key for her. I was able to meet with Liz several times before the big day and could have met with her more if needed. However, due to her being so well organized there was no need to. She incorporates a lot of fun things on the wedding day and is definitely able to get people up on the dance floor, not just the children either! Liz is definitely worth every penny to just have a piece of mind to know that at the end of the night everyone had fun. Thank you so much Liz for all of your help! I loved every moment we worked together.

Expert quality and fun!

I knew I wanted to hire an engaging and professional DJ and when we met with Liz after reviewing her work online we knew we found the right person. She helped us with more than just a playlist, she knows so much about the wedding industry, vendors, planning, and more that she really helped fill in any gaps we had (without hiring a wedding planner). Liz made our cocktail hour and reception so much fun! She created a dance medley mix on a tight timeline that my Dad and I did our father-in-law dance to, and it brought the house down. She kept it upbeat all night and made it one hell of a party that we will never forget! Afterwards she shared her playlist and some pictures and videos with us and I'm so happy we have these memories to look back on our big day. Thanks Liz!!

Liz did a great job with the music for our wedding. I was changing things on her right up until the end and she just rolled with it. We also had concerns because part of my husband's extended family is very conservative and so we had to tone down the music while they were there. I never had to say anything to her though because she was paying attention to the guests and as soon as they left the building she picked up the music.

Liz was absolutely amazing! She was our DJ and our day of coordinator. From the very beginning she was super easy to work with and get along with! I live in California, so I was super worried about planning a wedding from afar. She has this energy about her that makes her so easy to talk to, and put all of my worries at ease. We chose to work with Liz because of this, and we also loved her personalized father-daughter song option. I can't even begin to explain how many people are still talking about the voice over! It had the entire room crying (tears of happiness of course). We also opted to do personalized introductions for our bridal party which were a complete hit!! We were all dying of laughter and it was the perfect way to get the reception started. People were on the dance floor all night and she made the complete day a breeze. We had SO much fun working with her, and I couldn't recommend her enough. Thank you, Liz!!

Liz was absolutely fantastic to work with! She is so knowledgeable and put our minds at ease throughout the entire process. She answered any and all questions we had - even the super nit picky ones! She was available to us throughout the whole process through video chat sessions and emails. She got back to us quickly on emails, which we really appreciated! Liz worked hard with us over several months to come up with a detailed day of schedule. I am a details person and this made me feel good, however once the day arrived, unforeseen circumstances forced the schedule to be all rearranged and I could not have cared less about the silly schedule! Liz is unbelievably talented at just feeling the atmosphere out and knowing exactly what to do and when - the dance segments, toasts, cake-cutting. Everything felt perfectly timed. She also was excellent at directing our rehearsal the night before and everyone knew exactly what to do for the ceremony the next day! Her energy is infectious and she will get even the shyest of guests out on the dance floor. We highly recommend Liz to any bride and groom for all your wedding coordination and DJ needs!

Liz was absolutely amazing!!! After meeting with Liz for the first time we were stunned and completely blown away. The sense of relief we felt after our meeting is hard to put into words. Every question; she had an answer. Not only did she provide a wonderful playlist of her own she also went above and beyond to meet our eclectic music style. She made every part of our wedding seamless!! From the rehearsal to the day of..beginning to end. If there was an empty dance floor she was one it encouraging (by doing and not pressuring ) the crowd. My favorite photo from our wedding is one that Liz made happen..the family and then the friends circling the bride and groom all connected shoulder to shoulder. Tears of complete and pure happiness! Liz was awesome! She was not only our DJ but our point person as we planned our Williamsburg, VA wedding remotely from Florida. She was there to assist with our rehearsal, and then also assist with wedding day details! She kept the guests dancing all night long with fun music that our guests suggested and also other fun tunes. Liz had several video chat planning meetings with me to go over all of the details, and timelines. Our wedding was fantastic, and we got rave reviews!

Liz is about as good as it gets :) After giving her almost zero direction, she knocked it out of the park with both our ceremony music and our reception. Liz was great. We not only hired her as our DJ, but as our day planner as well. We met her twice and discussed our ceremony and reception needs. Then kept up the correspondence by e-mail (since we were out of state). She had a form for us to fill out that would help to make our reception fun and it was. The music and the events flowed well all night. People loved the introduction of the wedding party - one by one with fun stories about that person. Someone even remarked that before this wedding, they never really knew how or why that person was in the wedding party. It helped to personalize our wedding party and why we chose them. Now that we are back from our honeymoon I just wanted to say thank you to Liz for making our wedding so much fun! The music was so great and everyone really loved the introductions at the beginning… in fact as I’m sitting here typing this my boss at work just came up and told me he loved the funny intros. It really made the wedding unique and personal which is exactly what I wanted. I only wish I could have been in the room to see the wedding party’s faces when they were each introduced. I’m sure our photographer captured some good facial expressions on everyone.

I was so happy that the dance floor just got crazier and more packed as the night went on. My only regret is that Brandon and I had to spend so much time talking and greeting everyone at the beginning that we didn’t get to dance until after cake. Luckily our little ring bearer really kept it going with his break dancing until we could join.

Anyways just wanted to say thank you again. Everyone talks about how their wedding is the best day of their lives and usually I think people are just saying that because they have to, but really our wedding was probably one of the most fun days Brandon and I have ever had! We talked about every part of the night days after. We wouldn’t have had such a good time without Liz as our DJ and Master of Ceremonies.

Liz was amazing! Not only was she extremely flexible in accommodating our vision for our wedding, she knew what we needed even before we did. She effortlessly coordinated on the day of the wedding, and manage to wrangle all of the groomsmen (which is a feat).

Liz was the master of ceremonies and DJ for my son's wedding and I knew she was going to be great when we booked her but she exceeded those expectations. From our first phone conversation to immediate Skype Date she took so much weight off of our shoulders on how the wedding would proceed, how she was going to take care of us and how she was going to make our guests feel. As this was a destination wedding, we had no boots on the ground, but she made us feel like it was handled. And it was! After everyone told us how beautiful the wedding was they immediately said, "Is the DJ a friend of yours because she was amazing!" We heard that from not one family but more than a dozen. She impressed. She impressed so much we know she will be our person for our daughters upcoming wedding. She adds a personal touch to the event that cannot be undone, made everyone feel welcome and laugh. You will not want to sit down with her at the mic. She's wonderful and no one can do it like Liz does it!

You need to hire Liz. Seriously. Do it now, before she gets booked by someone else. Liz met and exceeded our expectations in every way, for my daughter's wedding! During the planning sessions, we could see how the ceremony and party was going to unfold. She included a little introductory surprise or two for everyone in the wedding party, to make them feel special. Before and during the ceremony, she handled every little detail, kept everything running on time, and took away the stress of anything not going right. We tried to anticipate everything that could go wrong, then made a plan to handle it. Because we had to change venues and dates, we lost our ability to have our pastor perform the service (on Sunday), so Liz, herself, got ordained, and did a beautiful job. We collaborated on the writing of the vows. Everyone wanted to know what church she was from! Then, she DJ'd the reception, and kept the party rocking. She read this beautiful love story that she wrote from interviewing the bride and groom. But, her sense of humor is what made it so fun. I've given out her name numerous times to people who attended the wedding. I'm not surprised, because the way that I found Liz, was by attending another wedding that she had coordinated. There are a hundred reasons why Liz will be the best decision that you make, when planning your wedding.

Couldn't be happier! We decided to go with Liz based on outside references and our initial skype interview, after which we immediately knew she was the one! She provided great customer service and a great product! She adds an intimate touch to the wedding with her unique style! We initially were planning on having a band, but they backed out a few months before our wedding... we were initially saddened, but after the wedding we were glad Liz was there! She brought details to our big day that a band wouldn't have been able to! You'll have some work to do, she makes you do a lot of "homework" during the planning process, but trust me it's ABSOLUTELY worth it!! Can't say enough good things about her, we even received several requests for her contact info after our wedding and numerous guests told us what a great job she did!

LIZ IS AWESOME! My husband and I actually won Liz’s DJ services in a Dream Wedding Contest. We are so happy and blessed to have met her. Liz Daley was absolutely wonderful! We had several guests come up to us thirty minutes into our reception saying how good she was! Three weeks later we still had friends and relatives complimenting us on our choice of DJ. Everyone we talked to said they had never seen so many people dance at a wedding, and it's true! Our dance floor was packed the ENTIRE NIGHT- and all thanks to Liz! She made the reception so fun, relaxed, and enjoyable-FOR EVERYONE! She truly cares about all the couples she works for and even took awesome pictures throughout the reception. She is extremely organized but also extremely flexible, laid back, and strives to do whatever she can to make sure all your guests have a blast. She is hilarious, she is professional, she is awesome, SHE IS A MUST on your big day! My husband and I were already married but wanted to have an actual wedding ceremony and celebration with our family and friends. Liz went far above and beyond helping me to plan this celebration and it was more fantastic than I could have imagined. She was my DJ and my planner and I could not have had the dream celebration I had without her. My family and friends had a blast and raved about how 'different and fun' our wedding was! Nothing about Liz is boring so if you want a fun and memorable wedding - you need Liz! If you want a stress free wedding planning - you need Liz! If you want all your wishes to come true - you need Liz!

I truly can not say enough wonderful things about working with Liz as we planned our wedding. She is a phenomenal DJ. My husband and I both thought our guests weren't the dancing type. She proved us wrong! Everyone was up dancing and having a wonderful time. We still have people complimenting us for the fun and unique atmosphere of our wedding.

Her personalized grand entrances bought a wonderful energy to the event, and gave us a fun way of personally sharing about the important people in our lives who were in our wedding party and of sharing our own story of falling in love. It brought us laughter and many happy memories.

Liz truly went above and beyond for us; she worked with us to pick just the right songs, patiently edited things to create personalized clips of music for special moments in the ceremony and reception. Liz met with us as many times as we needed to feel certain that the big day would be smooth and thanks to her it was. Liz helped us with everything from talking about seating of guests, helping us run the rehearsal thoroughly, to coordinating with our other vendors. Between her wonderful services as a DJ and her knowledge of the wedding world she truly helped us to bring together all of the elements of the most important day of our lives.

Her energy, enthusiasm and genuine interest in getting to know us truly made our day perfect.

I should also mention that she offers a photo booth. It was SO much fun! Our guests had a great time playing with it as did my husband and I. On top of that we have a special album with those photos and messages from our guests. Just another touch that she helped us add to the experience.

Liz Daley was the DJ at our wedding. When you hire a DJ, you don't ever expect to get the quality and service you get from Liz. She is a one of a kind DJ. She truly cares that you have the best day of your life and looks out for your best interest. She met with us multiple times to go over our vision for our wedding day. She helped us pick the best music for the important moments in our day and even helped us roast our wedding party with a memorable introduction. Even though we only hired her for the reception, Liz ended up doing our ceremony music too. We had originally asked a friend to do that portion of the day for us, but Liz wanted us to have a stress-free day, so she took on the task. Liz kept our party going and there was always someone on the dance floor. She also had karaoke available for the end of the evening. We had a blast on our wedding day thanks to Liz!

I truly can't say enough good things about the multi-talented Liz Daley. The last thing I wanted at my wedding was a corny DJ playing terrible music, which Liz clearly understood and further, she explained and demonstrated why her services are different. Liz helped us plan our reception, helped us figure out what type of music we wanted and would be appropriate, and provided invaluable advice on a number of subjects. She accommodated special music requests from our visiting family from Mexico, which made the evening truly special for them. She is not just a "DJ," but a true Mistress of Ceremonies who made the evening run smoothly from start to finish.Our guests had a wonderful time, and a frequent refrain was, "Wow, where did you find her? She's amazing!" I'm so glad I did!

Liz was amazing! She literally saved the day by noticing my wedding cake didn't show up on time. She also provided us amazing service and had all of my friends dancing all night. We originally thought the wedding would end at 10:00pm but we kept going until 11:00 ( the latest our venue allowed) because everyone was still dancing. I gave her minimal instruction and she worked with us to plan an outline of our reception. Hire Liz if you want an amazing wedding!

Liz was everything I needed to make my wedding perfect. Liz, Served as DJ to our daughters wedding over Veterans Day weekend. She was simply amazing. She worked with the entire family to make this special day remarkable. She worked off line with our daughter to create an phenomenal voice over during the father daughter dance that completely blew everyone away and no one will forget ever. Liz's wit, talent, and professionalism kept every laughing and dancing the night away. We continue to get a common compliment "best wedding reception ever" from our guests. Our family cannot say enough good things about Liz and I'm sure your will doe the same. High recommend!!!! :)

Liz is absolutely AMAZING! She was there for us every step of the way. She worked around our schedule and if I ever emailed her with questions, she always got back to me within 20 minutes. My husband and I met with her several times before the wedding and she helped us add in so many personal touches to make our wedding truly special! At our wedding reception Liz kept everything on track and running smoothly. She knew exactly what to play to get everyone up and dancing-the dance floor was filled the entire night! She even went around taking photos for us! Our guests were raving about how great she was. Liz is a phenomenal DJ, Master of Ceremonies and Wedding Planner, a spectacular person, and a truly amazing friend! I cannot recommend Liz enough!!

Peter Scarola was the best DJ for our wedding we could have hoped for. He was totallly accommodating when we gave him a full list of tracks we wanted to play. He knew exactly what we were going for mixing across all the genres, big band, pop/alternative, oldies and even beat matching Electro House! Thank you for being as great MC and coordinator as well!

Our wedding was nearly perfect, and a lot of that perfection is due to Liz Daley. She was amazing, start to finish. We wanted a unique wedding that incorporated a lot of different events and moments and Liz was not only on board with us, but right there making suggestions and offering opinions the whole way. She is not "in your face" at all, but will not hesitate to make suggestions that are based in her extensive experience and expertise. We met with her several times prior to our wedding to make sure it was exactly how we wanted it. Her skills and planning and organizing drove the entire wedding- she is far more than a DJ or even a Master of Ceremonies- she was really the nucleus of our entire event. She even brought in her close friend Peter Merry to work with her- and made the day beyond simply amazing to extraordinary. I am proud to say that Liz was not only the force behind our special day, but she is also now a friend to both my husband and I. I cannot more highly recommend her.

As a first time Mother of the Bride, I was a bit overwhelmed with the sheer amount of organization and careful attention to detail that went into the planning of my daughter's June 2, 2012 wedding. One of the details that I realized was one of the most important components was the selection of the Emcee/DJ. Our choice of Liz Daley of Liz Daley Events, was probably one of the smartest things I've ever done. From the beginning, Liz was remarkable. She was patient and understanding as this slightly frazzled MOB attempted to describe the type of reception we were hoping for. Liz earned her place in our high esteem when she carefully detailed the contribution that an Emcee could make in creating an atmosphere that was in keeping with our vision of a warm and inclusive wedding dinner while incorporating the celebratory and fun elements that my daughter and her fiance wanted with their friends afterwards. With Liz's guidance the entire evening was perfect; our guests have continued to contact us after the wedding to share their thoughts and memories of that great evening. Without Liz Daley at the helm, the event would simply not have been as poignant and sweet yet filled with laughter and true fellowship and some crazy dancing!

Our DJ was wonderful! Liz is so great and easy to work with. She has a huge library of music and was able to keep the dance floor going strong all night! We had people of all ages – from our grandparents to our friends entertained all night. You can tell that she really loves what she does! She was also our coordinator on the big day, and everything was perfect and went off without a hitch. We also used her for our ceremony music, which was very convenient. I would definitely recommend Daley DJ’s!

I really can't say enough about Liz and her partner Charles. Three weeks before my daughters wedding our scheduled DJ cancelled. I find Liz Daley Events on the website, and after talking with her on the phone, she came to our rescue. Had appointment to meet her and Charles the following Wed, and just loved the professionalism and ideas they came up with to make the song selections for the bridal party so much fun during the reception. With less than six months to plan a wedding, my husband and I were in desperate need of help for our big day this past winter. I was torn between using a DJ that two of my friends had used for their wedding, both of which I attended, and Liz whom I didn’t know anything about. I decided to meet with Liz and after spending an hour or so with her me and my fiancé left feeling very comfortable with the idea of hiring Liz and we couldn’t be happier with our decision.

Liz wasn’t available to do our wedding but we were left in very capable hands. Charles worked with my planner and caterer to make sure everything flowed beautifully throughout the evening and kept me apprised of everything that was going on. He also asked for my permission to play requests made by the guests for songs not on my play list that were either explicit or odd, which I really appreciated. He read the crowd like a charm and knew exactly what to play and when. Everyone had such a great time.

From the very beginning of the process until the very end, Liz went above and beyond the services outlined in the contract to make sure that our wedding was everything we had envisioned it would be. I had mentioned to Liz during one of our planning meetings that we weren’t going to hire a photographer for the wedding ceremony, which was at midnight (we did things backwards – reception first and ceremony last) and that we were going to rely on guests to take photos and share them with us. With an open bar, Liz was concerned that after drinking for 4 hours, the guests would not make the best photographers and offered to have Charles take some for us. As it turns out, Liz stopped by after her event and took the pictures herself which were beautiful and ended up being the only pictures that I have of the ceremony that turned out. Thanks Liz for giving us such a wonderful and lasting wedding gift.

Liz and Charles were a pleasure to work with – very professional and responsive. I would not hesitate to use their services again.

Two weeks before my wedding I found out that I needed a new DJ. I was blessed to get Charles. As soon as I got to the reception he was there to make my life easier. He helped us with the final song selections for the bridal party, and he handled things beautifully when the fire alarm was accidentally set off at the reception site. People came up to me, my parents, and my new husband to tell us this was the most fun they'd had at a wedding. We had some funny and touching moments during the reception. My personal faves were the compatiability quiz, and when the longest married couple in the room gave me and my new husband advice. The music was enjoyed by all. The song choices totally rocked. My DJ totally provided quality service and was responsive and flexible with me and my quests. I couldn't have asked for more. He helped make my day very special.

From the first moment we met Liz, we knew that we were in good hands. Even though Liz was not handling our event on the day of the wedding, she showed a special interest in helping us plan out our wedding day and make sure that every moment was perfect and tailored to us as a couple. She spent hours planning out the timing of our wedding reception, and helped us choose music that enhanced each special moment, from the introductions into the grand ballroom, to the garter/bouquet toss, to the cake cutting, etc. Not only that, but Liz also served as a liason between my husband and I and the staff at the reception site. She facilitated emails, sent schedules, and helped get everyone on the same page. Not having hired a professional wedding planner, this turned out to be a huge help.

On top of that, we got to work with Charles on the day of our event. Charles was incredibly warm and fun-loving from the first moment we met him. Importantly, he obviously stayed on top of musical trends and was aware of what were the "hottest" songs to play at our reception across a wide variety of musical genres, including country, R&B, and pop. My husband and I wanted to include a lot of nontraditional moments in our wedding reception to liven things up a bit for our guests, and Charles made that desire a reality. Charles played along with every oddball request we made of him, including our desire that he round up all the children present at the wedding and encourage them to engage in a dance-off. Charles was able to get all the children excited, and even passed out gag gift prizes to the children who participated. There were countless other examples of Charles going along with every request of the bride and groom, and making our dream of a unique and fun reception a reality. We received a lot of compliments on how our wedding was very fun and very "us." I know that the special musical touches and moments we designed with Liz and Charles are a large reason for that. By hiring Daley DJs, we got more than just background noise-- we got a PARTY!

Finally, Charles and Liz were the most professional of all the vendors that we worked with during the wedding planning process. They return every email and phone call immediately, they are always on time, they are always well-dressed and professional, they are always kind and attentive. Believe it or not, this cannot be said for all vendors in the industry, and working with true professionals makes the life of the bride and groom very easy!

As we were planning the wedding, my mother's biggest concern was that everyone would have a GREAT time. We had guests from France and the U.S. and there was a language barrier. Accordingly, my mother scoped out as many DJs as possible in the Richmond, Chesapeake, and Hampton Roads area. When she found Liz and we talked to her, we immediately decided to hire her. She did not let us down! The music was amazing, the mix and the ambiance among the people could not have been better. We had lots of married guests come to us and tell us it was the most fun wedding they have ever been to. This was all thanks to Liz's expertise. She mixed french and american music beautifully during dinner and the selections for the dance floor were outstanding. Liz goes above and beyond in her duties as your assigned DJ. She helped us set up things for our ceremony, created a reception agenda that completely fit what we envisioned our reception to be, was kind to family and friends...she came to the rescue to help me wipe wedding cake off my face before I had to do the garter toss even! For the year before our wedding, Liz was always available and although she is very busy, always treated us as though we were her only and most important clients. A year after our wedding, she still remembers us, checks in to see how we are doing, etc. If you want someone to take away any and everything you'd ever have to worry about at your function, she's the one for you! I did not have to worry about a thing other than having a great time!

One thing we realized is that when it comes to planning your reception, your reception site is not the main thing: regardless of your site, your DJ creates the atmosphere for your entire event. Liz Daley gave us everything we wanted and more and truly celebrated our special day with us...what more could you ask for?

Liz was amazing at every meeting. She helped me to really envision my wedding and see what it was going to be like through the music choices and agenda creation. She helped me not only with the music but also with the schedule of the days leading up to the wedding as well as the wedding day and with all of the coordination and little details that I would have never thought of alone. She knew how to get the party going and keep it going and was fabulous at pronouncing all of my family's strange last names. Liz really put 110% into her work. She worked on a specific time line with us. She asked what "WE" wanted and worked with us while overseas and when home in Va. The music was wonderful (which she sat down with me and picked each individual song for the ceremony and entrances) and we have had nothing but compliments on how smooth everything ran! We hired Daley DJ's to provide ceremony musician , a jazz trio for the cocktail hour and to provide DJ equipment so our friend could DJ the reception. We could not have been happier! Liz Daley saved our wedding reception.

When we first met Liz, we were extremely impressed with both her emphasis on creating a personalized, successful reception dynamic and her enthusiasm. We planned extensively and in great detail and, when we had last minute suggestions and changes, she handled them with professionalism and aplomb.

On our wedding day, Liz's talents were put to the test, as we unfortunately experienced a significant problem with our reception venue. Despite the loss of the dance floor for a large portion of the evening and even the potential for injury to herself and damage to her equipment, Liz adapted, and made certain that our guests felt welcome. She mentioned during one of our planning sessions that she has a "show must go on" ethos, and we and our guests got to witness it in its full glory. Once we re-gained access to the dance floor, Liz made sure that everyone had a fantastic time.

We will forever be grateful to her for what she did. Her determination and skill saved the day. Other DJs would have thrown in the towel. The obstacles thrown in our way -- her way -- at our reception have one distinct positive: We got to see Liz at her best and she was awesome.

What can I say about Liz? She is simply amazing. If you are looking for someone to help you put together entertainment for your wedding that is based on your personality and dreams, and creates spectacular memories, she's the only one to call. Her service and professionalism? She took care of everything - we had no details to worry about. Her creativity and help were phenomenal. We enjoyed the planning process just as much as we enjoyed our wedding - and we had a blast at our wedding! Our guests have said we had "the wedding to beat" and my mom (who was upset at first when she heard we hired a dj), said on our wedding day that "Liz is family". You can shop around if you want to, but Liz is the one who will help you create your perfect wedding.

Liz Daley was the perfect DJ for our September 25th Wedding in the Outer Banks! From the beginning, Liz gave us plenty of time and attention. Though she is a highly desired DJ in the area, she made us feel like our wedding was her top priority. She met with us in person several times before the wedding, and she was extremely quick at responding to e-mails and phone calls. She was also highly organized and helped us to plan out the wedding and reception time-line step by step. We had a nightmare situation with our caterer (Kim Epps). When the caterer informed me that she may not be able to make it to our wedding, Liz quickly eased my fears and provided me with plenty of plan B solutions just in case. Since she is so well known in the wedding industry, she has a lot of contacts outside of the DJ world, which was very comforting to us. Liz arrived to our wedding about 4 hours before the event to allow plenty of time for set up. We had originally planned an outside set-up around the pool, but it ended up pouring down rain. She was very flexible with moving her equipment inside the beach house. During the ceremony, my wedding coordinator (Kim Epps) was not doing her job once again, so Liz quickly stepped up to the plate and coordinated the ceremony for us. Throughout the evening, Liz went above and beyond all of our expectations. She was so good at reading the crowd and filling the dance floor. She also provided a great karaoke set-up later in the evening that everyone loved participating in. All of our wedding guests had a blast and to this day we still have guests coming up to us raving about how wonderful she was. We can't thank her enough for all of the work that she put into our wedding to make it magical. Thanks Liz!!!

Liz was awesome!! She worked with us to give us everything we wanted. She offered alot of suggesetions of what works and what doesn't. Liz is the best. She is fun to work with and really just wants your wedding to be as fun and special as she can make it for you. She is very easy to work with and is always willing to meet with you to talk about what you would like for the wedding. She does a wonderful Love Story for you that really helps to personalize the wedding. Many of our guest commented on how good our DJ was and how she keep the party going. She is so good at what she does that during the wedding you don't even realize how much she is helping with making sure all the different parts of the reception are going smoothly because of her.

Liz was an exceptional DJ and wedding coordinator. Prior to the wedding she was more than generous with her time. The DJ and coordination was an important decision for us and she completly wowed us during our first meeting. Her creativity, class, knack for planning and overall knowledge of seemingly every aspect of the wedding is why we choose to book her for our wedding. Liz was extremly helpful with vendor recomendations and in helping us develop creative personal touches for our special day. Liz truly understood what type of reception that we were going for and exceeded our expectations. Guests are still raving about how much fun the wedding reception was and how the dance floor was packed all night long. We had everyone dancing from the childern to the grandparents and everyone in between. She was very responsive and handled the drunken groomsmen toasts and every other detail of the reception with class so that we were able to enjoy ourselves without thinking about the details. Liz was extremely professional, provided amazing guidance and helped to make our reception unique and perfectly fit to us as a couple. She was very flexible with our requests and ideas and helped us customize the experience to fit who we are. She went above and beyond her outlined duties by meeting with us upon request and assisting us with putting music to a slideshow, which she then performed live during the actual slideshow at the reception. She also added a personal touch to our first dance song by including our individual interview sound clips about one another. Liz also helped to plan out our schedule and helped maintain the schedule throughout the night. She ran the show behind the scenes and kept the party lively. Liz has the ability to make your night magical, memorable, and perfectly you!

Liz was AWESOME!!

We were very empressed with every aspect of her process. The pricing of her services were made immediately available. The initial meeting, Liz was very professional and patient with our questions. The final contract was flexible to allow more of her time if the reception was going over our time estimates. At the final planning meeting, Liz was fun to be with and very professional to be sure every detail was discussed. And most of all, the reception was fantastic and everyone had a GREAT TIME!!!! Liz did a beautiful job as master of ceremonies and is very in tuned to her audience.

All I have to say is WOW! Daley DJs far surpassed my expectations. Working with Liz was wonderful. She was the consummate professional, responded quickly to all my requests and went far above and beyond the norm to make sure my wedding was exactly what I wanted and more! My husband and I are both involved in the local music scene, he is in a band, music is very important to us. I met with her to discuss music for the reception and she provided extremely helpful feedback on how to fit the songs we loved into the party so it would flow well.

We also worked together on a grand entrance, and it was SO FUN. I highly recommend doing this if you book with Daley DJs. We selected a short clip of music for each person in the wedding party, everything from "I'm Too Sexy" to George Thoroughgood. Some were funny, some were just awesome. I didn't tell anyone in the wedding party about it so it would be a surprise and when each person marched out to their own tune, there was huge applause and roaring laughter the whole time. I could NOT have been more pleased with how it turned out.

Peter was our DJ on the big day (Liz was booked) and he was awesome. Extremely professional, wore a tux in 101 degree heat and made it look good too! Everything went smashingly. We had a wonderful time and I would recommend this vendor to everyone.

When I first met Liz she wanted to know what would make me happy--she was all about the bride and groom and wanted to make sure that on our "big day" we would be the two happiest people in the room. Liz was punctual on her emails--we exchanged a few emails and she was always prompt in getting back in touch with me. A lot of people cannot say that about other wedding vendors! A couple of nights before my wedding Liz contacted me via phone and we just went over a few things. My wedding reception was AWESOME!! She did everything on cue and everything was perfect--people know that music has to be just right! She even made sure that my husband's favorite songs were played! And the best thing...the love story! It was really the first time that I got emotional all day--Liz made it perfect!! It was simply and just about Brian and I! Perfect again! She really put the love story together as if my husband and I were up in front telling it. Liz allowed the love story to put the most delicate and enjoyable touch to the night. I truly cannot thank Liz enough--all her work and consideration, love and respect. She really is such a wonderful person on the inside and out! Thank you Liz!! You certainly rocked at our wedding!! If anyone is thinking of using Liz--USE HER!! You would be losing the best DJ ever if you let her slip through your fingers!! She is fabulous!!

Liz was truly an amazing asset for our wedding. She not only acted as our DJ, but she went way above and beyond her expectations! She came to our rehearsal and helped us coordinate everyone. She arrived hours early the day of the wedding and helped oversee everything going on that day. She played our ceremony music, and also videotaped it, to our surprise. She even had her own camera she was taking pictures with. Everyone loved the music selections during the reception and all the guests were up and dancing and having a great time. I couldn't have imagined the day without her there.

We were fortunate enough to have Peter Scarola from Daley DJ'S be the dj at our wedding. He was extremely professional and enjoyable to work with. He arrived in plenty of time to set up and was prepared to work all night long, even when we asked him to stay an extra hour. The music list was exceptional, all my guests commented to me on how great the music was and how they wished the party could have continued all night long. Peter kept the party moving along and didn't miss a beat when we had some last minute introduction changes and with cake cutting delays. We would definitely request to have Peter as our DJ for another event and will recommend him to all our friends and family. Thanks Peter!

Liz was absolutely wonderful. Not only was she a DJ, but a very good master of ceremonies, and an event planner. Her experience and knowledge of our reception site was so valuable that it helped us avoid any major snafus. Liz was by far the most organized and prepared DJ we met with, and every other vendor knew her, and reccomended her.
The best part about Liz as a DJ for your reception is that she really pays attention to the schedule and the flow of the crowd. Prior to the wedding we had worked out some events that we thought we would like to do. During the reception, Liz approached and suggested that people were having a great time dancing and that if we wanted to do the events we needed to get everyone off the dance floor. At that point we decided to keep on dancing and skip the items, and it was the best decision.
Liz has a great set of forms that you fill out after signing with her that pretty much lay out your event for you, and then her website allows you to go on and select songs. We went on, and selected around 15 songs that we thought were representative of what we wanted. She hit the nail on the head and even did us one better. As the party went on, and she noticed that more people got up and danced to a certain type of music, she changed her playlist on the fly and kept the people dancing all night.
Everyone was worn out but had a great time, and we cannot reccomend Liz enough for your reception!!!

Thanks to Liz, we had so much less to worry about on our day of the wedding!

Liz is not only the ULTIMATE professional, she is great to work with and our music was PERFECT. We couldn't be happier with the way she Emceed the event, the music she provided (she was very patient with our WIDE variety of choices as our tastes are vastly different and we love all types of music).

Liz was a wonderful addition to our wedding day! She was a breeze to work with prior to the wedding - and dispite my falling short of my plans to create a must play DJ list - she read the crowd and was able to pull of an amazing wedding reception that my guest are still talking about. I also particularly like her coordination at my rehearsal for the wedding. She and her mother were the wedding planners I didn't know I hired. I think she is in the right business - her background in Broadway production shows. Weddings today sometimes feel like a movie production - she is the director you want. Especially if you have any hiccups along the way - she has a way that she would just fix it. I am glad I went with her full service package - it was well worth every penny. Thank you!!!

Liz Daley made our wedding an amazing event - so much more than just a party. We would love to recommend her to anyone who wants to get married in the Williamsburg area. My husband and I were reminded just how awesome Liz made our reception when we attended another wedding recently. The groom had asked us to share with him the music requests from our wedding because he and his wife had such a great time dancing at our wedding. I shared with him the request lists we gave Liz, including much of the actual playlist she used, and he shared this same information with his DJ. (I'm sure he added a few of his own requests, but his list was quite similar to ours.) At the wedding, the DJ was fine, but he did not create anything like the same energy we had at our wedding. His mix of songs would often stick too long on one genre, and he emptied the dance floor more than once. My mother-in-law actually came up to my husband at one point and said, "Why is the DJ playing this music? Tell him to play something more like what they played at your wedding!" This just goes to show that a DJ is soooo much more than a good playlist. This DJ had all the same information Liz had, but Liz used that information to create a party! Also at another recent wedding, my husband's 13-year-old cousin asked me, "Are all weddings as fun as your wedding?" Kudos to Liz for helping to make our reception an event everyone will remember and talk about for many years to come!

Our wedding was THE BEST PARTY we have EVER been to! I have to thank Liz Daley, our DJ so much for an OUTSTANDING job - everything went smoothly AND I never expected to see that many people on the dance floor!

She worked with us from the very beginning, making sure she understood our expectations. Throughout the process, she was responsive to my numerous emails and helped keep me calm! Liz worked with us to create an amazing playlist and even went above and beyond her duties by creating a wedding day agenda. Liz was terrific! She brought just the right energy to the event - so many people danced! Lots of dancers out of the unexpected too. She did an amazing job as MC, threading the bride and grooms notes into great introductory stories. Everyone raved about her (even those that hate DJs expressed their approval). She communicated well with MOB and caterer throughout the event to keep the flow flexible yet smoothe. She did all this without being obnoxious (like sometimes DJs can be). Meetings before the wedding always reassured us that we made a good decision in choosing Liz. We highly recommend her.

Liz was a valuable asset to have before and during my wedding. Although she is on the more expensive side she is worth it. She is flexible and friendly, but don't get on her bad side. We had a few struggles with my venue and she was able to step right in and tell them that they were wrong. On my wedding day she battled to have my wedding stay outside where I wanted and not indoors. Luckily the rain held off :) Liz's sound system was state of the art and everyone had a great time. I really enjoyed working with her and wish I could again. I think that Liz pays attention to her customer's needs and doesn't just slap together a bunch of songs and call it day. Instead she makes sure you know what your getting and when your getting it. I would gladly do business with her again. She served as my master of ceremonies as well as my DJ and I would have been lost without her. Thanks Liz!!!

We were not mentaly prepared for the cost of DJs but were very pleased with the value we received from Liz. We ended up with her instead of one of her employees and found her very helpful in exicuting the event, pacing the event and can't think of one person who didn't enjoy the wedding.

Liz did a wonderful job helping us script the reception and cocktail hour. She helped create a couple of special song edits that would work within our timeframe for the reception, and she was very good at adjusting on the fly during the reception when we made some requests to work into the playlist. Liz has an entertainer background and its truly evident when she gets behind the mic and the DJ booth. She's much more than a DJ, she's an entertainment coordinator, and she always ensures that the guests are comfortable and having fun. She has a great speaking voice, no need to worry about muddled words over loud music, everything came through with great clarity, and Liz implements the best of technology, so there are absolutely no concerns about equipment or professionalism.

Liz provided music for our cocktail hour and our wedding reception, and we were very pleased with her.

DJ was very good in meeting with us repeatedly at her home in the months prior to the wedding in order to get a feel of what type music we enjoyed and what type crowd the wedding would be. We felt that she helped shape what we liked along with what usually works at weddings. Actual reception was less responsive, playing songs that we had specifically said not to play, playing versions of songs that we hadn't heard, and not listening to bride/groom requests. In speaking with guests, they were overall happy and the dance floor was occupied. However, my wife and I felt like our previous conversations had been partially ignored in interest of "what works", versus what the bride wants. She is a good DJ, just need to be very clear as to what songs must NOT be played, along with what versions of songs MUST be played. No detail too small.
