I booked Livia for my wedding hair through my planner at Sweetchic. Liv is amazing and I would book her again in a heartbeat for any future hair styling needs. My hair was absolutely perfect on my wedding day. She also did an amazing job on my bridesmaids and flower girl.
She gave me everything I had asked her for in my hairstyle. I like a lot of volume and wanted to use hair extensions (even though I have a ton of hair already) and she was all for it. She made me feel beautiful and put all my anxieties at ease (and I had a lot of those in general lol). Liv is very talented at doing hair and she's also one of the sweetest women I've meet. Thank you Liv for making me into a gorgeous bride and for your kindness and patience with me :) -

Livia is THE BEST!!! Booking her for my wedding day (and rehearsal dinner) was one of the best decisions I made throughout the wedding planning process. Not only did my hair look STUNNING all weekend, but Liv was my go-to person on my wedding day. She came with me during photos and stayed for touch ups before and after I walked down the aisle. She was the greatest support to me throughout the day and just so much fun to be around. Each of my bridesmaids' hair looked beautiful as well. I have a few bridesmaids with fine, straight hair, and the curls Liv gave them lasted for over 12 hours. At my trials and on the day of, Liv constantly checked in with me and asked questions to ensure that my hair was absolutely perfect. I will definitely be finding excuses to have her do my hair again in the future! -

User2487007 Sent on 12/30/2015Livia is in a class by herself. I was happy with my hair trial but decided to go in another direction at the last minute and emailed Livia two days before the wedding. Not only was she unfazed by this, she absolutely nailed the style -- my hair ended up being my favorite part of the wedding "look", and also photographed beautifully. Despite the fact that it was a loose and precarious-looking updo, not a strand fell out of place until my shower the next morning, and the same goes for all of the bridesmaids (even the ones with very fine hair who had gotten it done at 8 a.m. the day before!). Livia is also a fun, calming presence to have around on the morning of the wedding. Definitely worth the investment. -

Chris Sent on 06/08/2012There’s a reason why the reviews rave about Livia and her book-of-business fleshed out by word-of-mouth referrals – it’s because she’s amazing!! I walked into my trial appointment a bit misguided; I thought I wanted one look but turns out not all celebrity photos translate well across every face shape/hair type (I have a smaller face and a whole lotta hair). But that said Liv was incredibly patient and with her advice we came to a style I was absolutely thrilled about. She really is the sweetest and crazy talented. The day-of, she styled me + 7 bridesmaids – all who loved their various styles and very impressively all of which lasted the entire night of dancing!! But more than that, she was a joy to have around and incredibly easy to work with. In the hours leading up to your wedding ceremony or any big event you want to be surrounded by calm, but fun & warm people so please do yourself a favor and reach out to Livia. -

Angela Sent on 10/21/2011Livia is a hair magician. No joke. I first met Livia when I was standing up in my best friend's wedding and she did hair for the bridal party at my friend's parents' house. Even though she was there since 8am, she was super friendly and energetic, diligently working away on whoever sat down on the chair in front of her while making fun conversation and having a few laughs. Luckily, I had already booked her for a few months later. :)
She showed up to the house ready to go and didn't mind that I had added on a few dos last minute (everyone wanted to jump in when they saw how great she made everyone look). I had every type of hair imaginable in my bridal party (thin, thick, curly, straight, long, short...) and she was able to give everyone a style that they felt comfortable in. We all left feeling like rock stars and continued to do so all through the day and night. If you have any doubts about hiring Livia, don't. She will make you, and everyone around you, look and feel amazing. -

Edwina Sent on 01/07/2010Livia did my hair (along with relatives and bridesmaids). She was so sweet and did an awesome job with my hair - it held up in winter conditions. My trial went really well initially and she was receptive to any feedback I provided. I would highly recommend her to all brides! -
User1074008 Sent on 01/21/2013I loved Livia! What a relief having your stylist come to your home to do your hair, and your wedding party's hair. So stress free! Livia is really professional yet laid back. She can do what you request, or offer some spot on recommendations if you are feeling undecided. I was the ANNOYING bride who decided to change my hair style after my hair trial! I decided to change into an informal fun 50's reception dress after my formal ceremony gown, and I needed a style that would work with both looks. Well, we winged it on the big day and it came out great! I have to admit, I wasn't 100% sure what I wanted but she asked the right questions and I was beyond thrilled with the look. Everyone got done on time, and Livia even gave my bridesmaids a tutorial on how to take off my birdcage veil without ruining the updo. Thanks so much! My only recommendation is book early, especially if you are getting married during the high wedding season. She's great, and therefore popular.
