We truly cannot even begin to say enough amazing things about Amanda from Live well paint often! We were gifted a live painter for our wedding from my husband’s family and Amanda was thankfully the one chosen to paint a truly special moment on our very special day!
From day 1, Amanda and her team were so organized with scheduling phone calls, answering questions, etc. They were always available to help when needed and we felt more than comfortable that she would do an outstanding job on our wedding day.
Let me just say our expectations were EXTREMELY beyond exceeded because the work she did was something we didn’t even know was possible. To see a blank canvas turn into a snapshot of your wedding day and just thinking of the talent it takes to do that is simply incredible - there’s no other way to say it.
Amanda asked us what we envisioned for our painting before wedding day and she gave us some ideas as she has painted at our venue before. However, on the day of she recognized that we were being pulled in directions to take pictures, talk to guests, etc. so didn’t have much time to sit and chat about the details of the painting once we had some ideas in mind based on the weather that day, etc. We were truly blessed with one of the most beautiful sunsets I’ve ever seen on our wedding day and everyone gathered to take pictures of us outside with the sunset. Well Amanda, as amazing as she is, went out of her way to take her own picture and pretty much just asked “Are you guys okay with me using the sunset and do you trust me”, and we responded with “absolutely”. Well to say the least, she absolutely blew our minds away with her work. She painted us with the sunset in the back outside of our venue, however also incorporated the details of the inside of our ballroom. We were absolutely speechless for the big reveal and just couldn’t believe our eyes! It’s a moment I know neither of us will forget.
Our families and guests have not stopped complementing the picture and the work that was done because it truly captured every detail of our big day!
Overall, we want to say a huge you to Amanda and her team for making our day so extra special. Because of Amanda’s work, we will be reminded every day when we see our painting of the best day of our lives, and the best moments of it. If you are considering a live painter for your wedding, DO IT and if you are deciding who to use, RUN NOT WALK to book Amanda! You will be blown away at the talent she has and forever grateful, just like we are!!! -

She painted our wedding in October and people who came to my wedding are STILL raving about her! By far the best part of my wedding. She captured the scenery so beautifully and it’s actually insane that my husband and I are so recognizable, you’d think it was a photo. She’s incredibly personable during the consultation, extremely transparent on pricing, and her studio gets back to you very quickly! To this day I still look at it in disbelief that a person was able to make something so beautiful in just a few hours. -

A must at your wedding!
Amanda and her team will set up virtual meeting with you to go over the details of how a live painter works at your wedding and options you have for your painting. If you want anything added or changed last minute Amanda is right their during the wedding and you can go over and speak to her and she makes it happen.
When our painting arrived to our home just the other day it brought tears to mine and my husband’s eyes to the beauty and all the details that encompassed the picture. From our unity candles on the table to the hair piece in my hair, all the details were there.
If you are seconding guessing if you need a paining at your wedding I’m here to tell you it’s a MUST. A painting will last a lifetime and will be hung in our home for all to see for years to come.

100% would recommend this vendor to any bride that is interested in a live painter! First, she is incredibly talented and honestly I am trying to think up other reasons that I could hire her to paint something ever since!! Our painting for our wedding was the most beautiful thing. But the other great thing about hiring a live event painter is that we get to see the painting from start to finish, and our guests could also watch it coming to fruition! 2 months after the wedding I am still hearing from our guests how great the live event painter was! She talked with a lot of our guests and it really was the sweetest thing. She is also the sweetest person to work with, and she even gave me an extensive list of recommendations for my honeymoon which was totally unrelated and just so nice and helpful. For our wedding day, it poured all day, but she was still able to capture the outside picture in the courtyard of our venue that I had imagined ever since I booked her! She even took care that day because the paint on the painting wasn’t drying the way she wanted it to and took the painting home with her to ensure it wouldn’t be ruined with transportation, and then offered to drop it off at my convenience. If you are questioning whether its necessary, I would say go for it!!! The wedding day goes so fast and I feel like this painting is something that we can have forever, and hopefully pass on to our future kids. -

Every time I look at Amanda's gorgeous work of art I am transported, feeling all the magic, joy, and love we felt on our wedding day. From booking via a meaningful winning raffle ticket number, to our first dance song being one that was meaningful to Amanda on our wedding day, and even post-wedding with her spotting cardinals outside her window when she was posting our painting on Instagram - I'd had her include a cardinal along with some other "easter eggs" in the painting to symbolize loved ones who have passed. Incredible to say the least..
I had booked Amanda over 2 years prior to my wedding. And I’ve been telling everyone I know to book her too. From start to finish was a great experience. But nothing tops my wedding day. My husband and I were supposed to get married outside and had to turn everything indoors because of Mother Nature. Amanda surprised us by painting us at the outdoor ceremony space because she knew how much I wanted to be outside for the foliage. I literally cried at our reveal. Our guests are still talking about the painting and have gave us endless compliments. If you’re thinking about a live painter, look no further. I have nothing but gratitude and love for Amanda after our experience. -

Pure god given talent
There are not enough words to describe how amazing Amanda is, and her talent can’t be compared. From the moment I reached out to her to the day of my wedding she was so professional, flexible, and responsive. It rained the day of my wedding and the ceremony was supposed to be outside. I really wanted to capture the Aesthetic’s of the garden and decorations, but everything had to be moved inside. Amanda was able to create my portrait by combining my indoor ceremony with the outside details. This was a surprise gift from me to my husband and when he saw the finished piece he cried. Her work is truly breathtaking and you will not have any video or photograph that can compare. I could go on and on about how every little detail was captured but just look at the final piece and her work speaks for itself. -

I found out about live wedding painting probably about a month before my wedding. I did some research and when I saw Amanda’s website I was in love. I reached out to Amanda and she had an opening because a bride had moved her wedding to the following year. I was ecstatic! When I first spoke to Amanda I felt like we had an instant connection. We talked about different things related to the piece she would create for us but I also felt like I was talking to a friend I had known forever. I knew I wanted to have her paint our first dance but other than that I just trusted her process. On the day of the wedding I would watch my guests go up to her throughout the night and the looks on their faces were amazing. You could tell how much they loved to watch her paint and were excited to see the final product. That made me even more excited to see. Once Amanda finished she got my husband and I and let me tell you, this was the absolute best part of my night. I was blown away. I could not stop looking at it! Amanda got so many little details from the sweetheart table, centerpieces, cake and the stunning sunset outside. It was also incredible how she was able to make it look just like us! This is a once in a lifetime, unique piece that you will have the rest of your life and I am so lucky Amanda was able to do this for us. You can tell Amanda loves what she does and she is excellent at it! I would recommend Amanda a thousand times over!!! -

When our wedding got postponed due to COVID, the first vendor I contacted was Amanda in hopes she was still available for our new wedding date. Amanda painted our first dance off a photo that I had from after our wedding. Although we really would have love to her to be there in person, she exceeded our expectations! Amanda is incredible!! I had saw her at a wedding showcase and knew that this was something I had to have for my wedding. If you're on the fence about hiring a live event painter, let me tell you that it was the BEST decision we made! But here's the catch -- you can't hire any artist, you've got to book Amanda. But reach out to her as early as you can, she's super popular for a reason.
Not only is she an incredibly talented creative, she is such a lovely person. From our first phone call, we felt completely at ease by her warmth and caring presence. It was important to us to hire vendors that were passionate about their work (weddings are hard and people get jaded, we get it) but Amanda loves what she does. You won't get some cookie cutter painting. Her style hard to capture in words -- it's got so much lovely movement and texture. You have to see it. We told Amanda we didn't want her to paint a specific scene and without skipping a beat, she said, "I can do a mosaic of moments." We couldn't believe how many details she incorporated for us.
Our wedding day happened to be the hottest day of the year and Amanda was outside working her magic without any complaint. We couldn't be more appreciative! And we are still in awe over how she managed to chat with our friends and family all night long yet, still create such a stunning painting for us. That takes major skill! It is currently hanging up in our living room and captures our memories in way that photos can't. -

The Perfect Keepsake

Best vendor ever!
Amanda was one of the best vendors we worked with for our April 2019 wedding! We are absolutely blown away by how stunningly beautiful and truly PERFECT our portrait is. Not to mention that she is the sweetest person to interact with! My husband’s father passed away last year and it was important to my husband to feel like his dad was still a part of our special day. As a surprise for my husband, Amanda was able to take a photo that i sent her of my late father-in-law and she painted him in the portrait along with the rest of our parents. He recognized his dad right away and teared up. Worth every penny!! -

Amazing work!
Amanda is amazin! This was a last minute decision and probably the best decision! I reached out to Amanda a few weeks before my wedding to see if she happened to be available and would be willing to paint our wedding. Luckily for us she was available. I decided to surprise my soon to be husband with this as we did not buy each other wedding gifts or write each other letters. Every single person in that room was amazed by her. She is such a talented individual. She happily conversated with our guests and made everyone feel welcome to come by and view her progress. That painting is something we will cherish for the rest of our lives. The finished product was better than i could of imagined. I would recommend her whole heartly! -

Amanda is amazingly talented. She did a live painting of our ceremony and she captured the exact moment that we wanted. All of our guests including us were totally captivated by her painting. The painting looked so beautiful and her attention to detail is impeccable. I cannot wait to hang it up in our house. -

She even painted in my husband's late nana, which was so meaningful to us. I can't recommend her enough. Carolina Sent on 11/20/2017My first experience with Amanda and her company, Live Well Paint Often, was when I saw a beautiful piece of her work online. The painting was breath-taking and my husband and I knew we wanted a portrait of our own. My husband and I only concern was if Amanda would be available for our wedding due to the fact we were so close to our wedding date! I emailed Amanda and she responded immediately! Amanda was very accommodating and informative. She answered all my questions and concerns which sealed the deal for hiring her. My venue was 1 hour away upstate near the Woodbury Commons however travel was a none issue for Amanda. I spoke with her frequently and she was very polite and always professional. She agreed that she would arrive early to take photos and meet with the venue manager. The day of my wedding, I arrived late but she was there already to greet me at the door. Amanda reassured me that everything was to be great and that my venue was very inspiring to her artistic talent. She walked around to meet my immedate family and bridal party. My wedding guests and family members were blown away by watching her work! Amanda stole the show at my wedding and I couldn't of been happier. She was so sweet to everyone who approached her while she worked. After my wedding passed, Amanda remained in contact keeping me updated on her progress and when we could expect the finished painting. She personally delivered the painting to me and I was blown away. I was actually brought to tears because the painting exceeded my husband and I expectations! My husband and I now have our very first family heirloom which we look forward to passing on from generation to generation!! Amanda thank you so much for making my wedding day extra special!!

Early into wedding planning, over 2 years out, I knew I wanted to have a live painter at our wedding. Soon after booking Sea Cliff Manor, I saw Amandas work tagged in a post at the venue. I fell in love with her style and loved each painting I saw. We booked and we could not have made a better decision. Amanda’s communication leading up to our wedding was professional and thoughtful. On our wedding day, I actually didn’t get to meet Amanda until our painting was completed and we were in awe of what she created. The details that she captured of our ceremony took our breath away. Our guests loved watching the painting come to life and I really feel this was such an incredible investment and so happy we have this piece that captures my husband and I so perfectly. It is easy to see how talented Amanda is, however she is even more so dedicated and passionate about her work and it truly shows. We couldn’t be more happy with our decision to have her at our wedding! -
