  Trust Live Events!

  I met the crew of Live Events at the 2022 Metropolitan Weddings Bridal Expo. They were super nice, informative, and easy to sign up with. I put a small down payment on a DJ for 5 hours. Later, we decided to hire Live Events for an officiant, pair of cold sparklers and photo booth. It was so easy to get ahold of someone for anything we needed. Adding or changing services, questions, requests. Rachel was the person I contacted the most and she was really helpful. Closer to the day of, I started receiving phone calls from Live Events which was really comforting. Lots of communication makes me feel more comfortable about trusting others with such an important event. I had phone calls about the music that was going to be played, about the ceremony service, and about the photo booth. They gave me ample opportunity to let them know what I was hoping to gain and answer any questions I had. I bought a photobook for our guest book and the person running the photobooth even agreed to print an extra copy of every photo taken and keep it for the book for me, and try to instruct guests to write something in it. She did a FABULOUS JOB! I spoke with Dennis over the phone a couple of times, to talk about details of the rehearsal and the wedding. He asked a little bit about us, what we were expecting of him, is it ok to include a little humor, and even worked with me on changing the ceremony to include hand fasting at the last minute.
  Rehearsal day! Dennis was punctual and already chatting with my coordinator. I knew we were in the good hands. Right off the bat he was charming, easy to work with and… HILARIOUS. He helped make things so smooth, comfortable and relaxing. We were dying laughing a good portion of the time, but he still maintained composure to do the job he came to do which was to help guide several people who had never done this before.
  Wedding day!! Live Events showed up on time and ready to rock n roll. It was incredible. They asked a few questions, had some cool ideas, even worked with my coordinator on a cute idea she had and pulled it off magnificently. After a small chat and ideas were ran by me, they got right to work. I met DJ Lily, DJ Lyric, and Jenna (who had been one of the previous phone calls) who ran the cold sparklers and photo booth. DJ Lily was a FIRECRACKER! On my form they requested I filled out, there is a section where you choose the vibe youre going for. I chose “High Energy” and my God, was she the right person for the job. She is so much fun! She kept a hard crowd going, she got out and danced with us, and checked in with me, the bride (probably the groom too but he doesn’t remember much). She absolutely ran that party.
  Come ceremony time, Dennis did a beautiful job. I requested something semi-short, nothing that felt like church service and he did exactly that. He personalized his readings for us in a beautiful way. It was elegant, meaningful, and just a small touch of funny which we wanted, fits us.
  The photo booth, WAS POPPIN! I wasn’t sure how it would go, I really wanted to give it a try though. Best choice I’ve ever made. They made it so easy and fun. There was lines of people for it almost constantly. They bring props to choose from, Jenna would angle to camera depending on the height of the people, and 3..2..1.. you’ve got a funny or beautiful photo to take home with you. The kids especially loved it. I have photos of people I didn’t even think I’d get any with. If you’re thinking about it, do it.
  I put one of the most important days of my life in the hands of Live Events and I have 0 regrets. I promise they will take good care of you and your day.

  I wouldn't change anything about our music/DJ. the evening was perfect and he was able to get all of the songs that we wanted played, even the songs that were uncommon! Absolutely made our night!!

  I was very pleased with our DJ. He was very nice and professional and made sure to include everything that was important to me during the reception.

  Dennis was amazing! His reception guide is easy to understand and fill out, and he was a great emcee! Instead of just staying in the corner, he was talking with my husband and I all night about what we wanted to do and when we wanted to do certain events. Plays great music and keeps the party going. I couldn't recommend him more!

  DJ, Live Stream and Officiant were the perfect package!

  Let me just say that if you aren’t considering Live Events for your wedding, you’re missing out on a stress-free, perfect day. Dennis officiated with the perfect mixture of humor and reverence. It was just the right mix of laughter and tears. He responded to all of my questions quickly and with great patience. He never made me feel rushed.
  
  The DJ was so much fun and even joined in with us making the poor dance efforts by many much better. Her high energy kept everyone on the dance floor all night. Best I’ve ever seen!
  
  The livestream allowed family and friends who could not attend still be a part of our daughters ‘s special day. They were able to capture the ceremony and the important parts of the reception seamlessly. We had many friends express their appreciation of being able to watch live. This was money well spent!

  Hire again in a heartbeat!

  Our experience with Live Events Missouri was AMAZING! Denis and his entire crew were amazing - DJ Rachel is the BEST. She kept the dance tunes rolling and our guests kept dancing...on multiple occasions, our guests comment how on par the music was for an amazing celebration. We would hire Live Events Missouri again, in a heartbeat!

  Rolled with the flow!

  Our wedding didn't go as planned when a huge storm and tornado warnings moved in, but Eric was great and easy to work with when trying to rearrange the events and timeline. During the ceremony Eric played all the songs at the right time. He played great music and took all the requests from the guests at the reception. Every person at live events is easy to work with and responds fast to all questions.

  These guys are the best! They came to our wedding and the guests had such a great time in the Photobooth. What a fun addition to any special occasion! They are easy to work with-great communication and very professional!! Definitely recommend!

  Everything worked smoothly. The planning guide Dennis had us fill out was a very good idea. He knew what to do and when to do it and he seemed to know what we wanted when we hadn't given him input.

  What I loved the most was how hands on they are. From planning to day of. I never had to worry about a thing. They were quick to cover all bases.

  Dennis Cox with Live Events Missouri was the biggest Godsend any bride could ask for. From the beginning to the end, he was professional, prompt, incredibly easy to access (emails, texts, calls), oh and FUN!! I planned my own wedding, so he helped ask the right trigger questions, made sure he had all the family names right, and paid great attention to detail. We ended up using him for our ceremony and reception, and the ceremony music was fabulous (and we didn't have to worry about an iPod not playing or not working), and he beat our guests back to the reception and had the whole light show and music playing.. we ordered a gobo light through him as well in a script monogram 'M' and it all looked AMAZING together. Dennis stayed so calm, he kept the party alive and fed the party all the appropriate music. It was just wonderful. Also? He doesn't drink during the party. What a true, fun, easy to work with professional person. If you DON'T hire him, you're crazy!! Clay and I absolutely loved him and what he did for us.. and so did the rest of our guests. Our reception was the best party we've ever been to! THANK YOU DENNIS!

  Very Flexible

  The Live Events team was fantastic to work with. In the days leading up to the wedding they would answer any of my questions and the paperwork helped not only them but also me. During the wedding reception a lot of things ran a little late but our dj was able to roll with the changes and stayed in contact with us all night to double check on everything. My guests loved his song selections and were happy when they requested a song and he actually played it. All in all it was a smooth reception thanks to our awesome Live Events DJ.

  Phenomenal DJ!

  I worked with Live Events for my wedding reception and it was a major hit! They showed up with ample time to setup, were professional/polite, worked well with other vendors, and did everything they could to make sure my celebration was fun for everyone involved!

  We saw so many happy faces in their photos & in person! The kiddos were so proud of their photos!! Thank you!!   They are by far the best at what they do. We had DJ Dennis as our DJ. He was worth every penny that we paid for his supreme service. If you want your wedding day to be a blast then look no farther. They were the easiest to work with out of all the vendors we hired (and the most fun). Working with Dennis and his team was like working with an old friend. He truly cares about his brides and I assure you that he will care about your wedding too!

  Parent of the bride

  Dennis and his staff are highly professional and knowledgeable in any event, especially weddings. They were wonderful to work with and helped with many things we had not considered. They kept things moving and on time. They were very accommodating and worked well with the staff especially the timetable for the photographer. I would recommend them hands down to everyone.

  Reliable, trustworthy, fun, affordable dj and officiant services!!

  Jenna the dj kept the party hopping all night! She literally was so great in ensuring the guests were kept in the loop the entire night. The couple loved x files and she was made aware and went out of her way to play the x files theme song as a surprise for them. Also, there was an inside joke with a cardboard cutout of Danny Devito. When they did a couples dance she even joked about how if someone didn’t have a partner they could dance with Danny. She was very personable and even helped clear plates in her free time. In addition, there was an issue where the hired officiant didn’t show up on time. I called Live Events as a back up and the owner Dennis told me he was an hour and a half away at another wedding but would come immediately. He rushed to our aid even when I told him the other officiant finally showed up. He showed up ready to help in any way he could. This company is top notch in all they do. Professional, polite, friendly, fun and ready to exceed your expectations. The only mistake you could make on your wedding day would be not hiring them.
