  Trust Live Events!

  I met the crew of Live Events at the 2022 Metropolitan Weddings Bridal Expo. They were super nice, informative, and easy to sign up with. I put a small down payment on a DJ for 5 hours. Later, we decided to hire Live Events for an officiant, pair of cold sparklers and photo booth. It was so easy to get ahold of someone for anything we needed. Adding or changing services, questions, requests. Rachel was the person I contacted the most and she was really helpful. Closer to the day of, I started receiving phone calls from Live Events which was really comforting. Lots of communication makes me feel more comfortable about trusting others with such an important event. I had phone calls about the music that was going to be played, about the ceremony service, and about the photo booth. They gave me ample opportunity to let them know what I was hoping to gain and answer any questions I had. I bought a photobook for our guest book and the person running the photobooth even agreed to print an extra copy of every photo taken and keep it for the book for me, and try to instruct guests to write something in it. She did a FABULOUS JOB! I spoke with Dennis over the phone a couple of times, to talk about details of the rehearsal and the wedding. He asked a little bit about us, what we were expecting of him, is it ok to include a little humor, and even worked with me on changing the ceremony to include hand fasting at the last minute.
  Rehearsal day! Dennis was punctual and already chatting with my coordinator. I knew we were in the good hands. Right off the bat he was charming, easy to work with and… HILARIOUS. He helped make things so smooth, comfortable and relaxing. We were dying laughing a good portion of the time, but he still maintained composure to do the job he came to do which was to help guide several people who had never done this before.
  Wedding day!! Live Events showed up on time and ready to rock n roll. It was incredible. They asked a few questions, had some cool ideas, even worked with my coordinator on a cute idea she had and pulled it off magnificently. After a small chat and ideas were ran by me, they got right to work. I met DJ Lily, DJ Lyric, and Jenna (who had been one of the previous phone calls) who ran the cold sparklers and photo booth. DJ Lily was a FIRECRACKER! On my form they requested I filled out, there is a section where you choose the vibe youre going for. I chose “High Energy” and my God, was she the right person for the job. She is so much fun! She kept a hard crowd going, she got out and danced with us, and checked in with me, the bride (probably the groom too but he doesn’t remember much). She absolutely ran that party.
  Come ceremony time, Dennis did a beautiful job. I requested something semi-short, nothing that felt like church service and he did exactly that. He personalized his readings for us in a beautiful way. It was elegant, meaningful, and just a small touch of funny which we wanted, fits us.
  The photo booth, WAS POPPIN! I wasn’t sure how it would go, I really wanted to give it a try though. Best choice I’ve ever made. They made it so easy and fun. There was lines of people for it almost constantly. They bring props to choose from, Jenna would angle to camera depending on the height of the people, and 3..2..1.. you’ve got a funny or beautiful photo to take home with you. The kids especially loved it. I have photos of people I didn’t even think I’d get any with. If you’re thinking about it, do it.
  I put one of the most important days of my life in the hands of Live Events and I have 0 regrets. I promise they will take good care of you and your day.

  Live Events was absolutely amazing to work with!!

  We used Live Events for Cold Sparks, Photo Booth, DJ, and Officiant services, and they killed it on all fronts. They were able to add officiating services pretty late in my planning process and made some move in the staffing so that they could make that work as Dennis was now going to officiate AND DJ the reception. They were on time, professional, and kept the party going all night. We did a private last dance, and they even filmed that for us and sent it over which was great because I forgot to set up my phone to record it. Dennis was an amazing officiant and talked me through the ceremony nerves ahead of time (I think he could tell I was anxious). His ceremony script was well thought out and personalized to us which I really loved. I even had friends come up and mention a joke he made as their favorite part of the ceremony. I also appreciated the guide he has you fill out as it lets you give them guidance on if you want religion mentioned and what tone you want the ceremony to take (i.e. do you want jokes or is this to be a serious event).
  I will 100% be using Live Events if I need a DJ for anything else.

  THE DJ for any 417 event!!!

  Live Events was one of the first vendors we booked when wedding planning after seeing them at a local wedding show, and WOW did we pick well!!! Rachel did absolutely amazing on not only getting our ceremony music perfect, but also getting the party started when our reception came around. Music was something that was really important to my now-husband when wedding planning. We've gotten so many compliments on our music selection since then, and I am forever grateful for Live Events.

  Absolutely AMAZING!!!

  Cannot say enough great things about how amazing this company was to work with for our wedding. Robie was our DJ and he was so kind to put together some mashups for us and worked with us prior to event day to make sure everything was in order. On wedding day, the ceremony music and reception music was on point! Our "must play" songs were worked in between some songs of the DJ's choosing but fit our vibe of the night perfectly. One of mine and my husband's favorite things about working with Live Events Missouri is how they treated us as friends, not just clients. We also rented a photobooth station from them for the reception as well. The photos were hilarious and we loved that we went with the option that included a photo book of the night where guests could write messages with their photos. Highly recommend this company!

  My wife and I consider Live Events to be the most OUTSTANDING provider of First Class professionalism. We hired them and they MORE THAN delivered. They kept the pace of our entire wedding and reception and did so in a fun-filled atmosphere.

  Reliable, trustworthy, fun, affordable dj and officiant services!!

  Jenna the dj kept the party hopping all night! She literally was so great in ensuring the guests were kept in the loop the entire night. The couple loved x files and she was made aware and went out of her way to play the x files theme song as a surprise for them. Also, there was an inside joke with a cardboard cutout of Danny Devito. When they did a couples dance she even joked about how if someone didn’t have a partner they could dance with Danny. She was very personable and even helped clear plates in her free time. In addition, there was an issue where the hired officiant didn’t show up on time. I called Live Events as a back up and the owner Dennis told me he was an hour and a half away at another wedding but would come immediately. He rushed to our aid even when I told him the other officiant finally showed up. He showed up ready to help in any way he could. This company is top notch in all they do. Professional, polite, friendly, fun and ready to exceed your expectations. The only mistake you could make on your wedding day would be not hiring them.

  Dennis was absolutely incredible for our wedding celebration. He made sure the evening flowed well, he made us laugh when we were nervous to give toasts, and made sure the dance party never quit! Additionally, we created a “Pay for a Play” gimmick to benefit a local charity, and we had a lot of enthusiastic folks requesting songs, and he was tremendously nimble through it all. What a treat it was to work with Dennis! Could not recommend enough.

  Excellent Service and Fun

  Magical moments

  My husband and I did the cold sparklers for our wedding and WOW! If you’re looking for that extra special element then don’t skip these for the big day! They really elevated our moments together (Ex. Entrance and send off) and not to mention the pictures turned out awesome with them in the background!

Dennis was able to keep every small detail on track for the whole day and made sure we were happy every step of the way. Our guests still keep talking to us about how great the dance floor was, and not to mention the cold sparks! They easily made the entire reception feel like I spent thousands more than I actually did. They added so much to the spectacle and emotion of everything and I wouldn't change a single thing. I HIGHLY recommend using Live Events Missouri for your wedding or event. I can't thank them more for making our wedding the best day ever!!!

  The Perfect DJ!! Above & Beyond!!

  Derek and I cannot say enough about how much we loved working with Dennis & LEM!! He truly took the time to get to know us as a couple! From playing our favorite songs at sunset, playing my husbands favorite drinking game song, and even taking our requests for “just one more song!” I truly can’t say thank you enough for making every part of our wedding day amazing! Ceremony music was beautiful, the cold sparklers were the star of our first dance and having him at the ready for any important announcements during our dinner service was unmatched!! Cannot recommend enough!! 10/10!!

  Our experience with Live Events Missouri was AMAZING! Denis and his entire crew were amazing - DJ Rachel is the BEST. She kept the dance tunes rolling and our guests kept dancing...on multiple occasions, our guests comment how on par the music was for an amazing celebration. We would hire Live Events Missouri again, in a heartbeat!

  Professional, helpful, and fun!!

  We are SO happy we used Live Events for our wedding. They were super professional, responsive, and helpful to us leading up to the Big Day. We had them cover lighting, sound for reception, canned music for cocktail hour and reception, as well as running the reception flow / dance floor. They brought all the right equipment, followed all our requests, and helped get our guests on the dance floor!! Dennis was great to work with, and we would highly recommend Live Events for all future brides! Thank you Live Events for making our day unforgettable!!

  Recommended for a photographer, DJ, officiant combo!

  Our wedding day was perfect, and these guys really helped make that happen. Dennis was great as an officiant and DJ - we were so pleased with how smooth and sweet our ceremony was, and the reception events (first dances, shoe game, sparkler photos) and music could not have been better. The photographers were ideal - Ike was so fun and kind and interactive and professional and made my bridal photos a wonderful build up to seeing my husband (!!) for the first time at our first look. Everything he and Micah did for us to capture the day so we can re-live it forever was amazing. Definitely use this team! Also, having one primary person to schedule through, ask questions, and generally get the idea of what you are supposed to do for planning these types of things for your wedding was very nice and easy!

  We hired Live Events to do music (DJ services) and officiant services (spoiler alert, Dennis is amazing!) for our June 2021 wedding, and we were so incredibly happy with the results that they provided!! Where to begin…

  Live Events provided pre-lude and ceremony music for our wedding. We were outdoors but there were no issues with sound or mics which was great! Everything went smoothly and per our wishes.
  
  2. Officiant
  
  Dennis was our officiant and did such as amazing job! He was funny, well spoken, and prepared. My husband very nervous to stand up in front of people, and after the fact, he told me how Dennis kept cracking jokes to put him at ease. Subtle hints of humor throughout our ceremony kept it light but memorable. Despite not doing a rehearsal with Dennis, he remembered all the queues and announcements that needed to be made after the ceremony. He also sent our marriage license into the county office on our behalf so we wouldn’t have to worry about it. Finally, upon request and additional small fee, Dennis was able to cut music for our ceremony for when I came down the aisle. The music that I picked was originally too long but he was able to cut it precisely and it came out exactly the way I envisioned it in my head. Absolutely fantastic job!

  DJ Heather was AMAZING! We got so many compliments from our guests about how that was the most fun they had ever had dancing at a wedding! Once Heather got the dance floor started, it did not stop until the night ended! She even got out there and danced with the crowd. We loved her style and spirit. We could not be more grateful!

  I can’t say enough about the Live Events Missouri team. Dennis officiated the ceremony. He was professional and put everyone at ease with his lighthearted humor. Our DJ Heather was fantastic! She kept everything running smoothly and made great timing and song suggestions when we weren’t sure what to do. She was so fun and engaging, absolutely professional but fun!! I would recommend this company to anyone looking for an event vendor for themselves!

  Worth the Travel Fees to KC!

  I hired Live Events for my wedding on September 18th. I couldn't find a DJ in Kansas City that checked all of the boxes so I was delighted when I found Live Events! Live Events was a great value for the quality of service they provided, even after travel fees!
  Before the wedding, Live Events was responsive to my questions. They even had me fill out detailed ceremony and reception guides beforehand.
  We didn't meet our DJ, Eric, until the day of the wedding, but he didn't disappoint! Eric made all the announcements we needed to keep the wedding running smoothly. He was flexible and adjusted our schedule when we fell a bit behind during the reception.
  My husband and I really wanted to have a fun dance floor and Eric delivered! It was the best dance floor I've seen at a wedding! At one point, I told myself I'd take a break during a song I didn't like. However, Eric played so many good songs that I only stopped dancing when my photographer told me it was time for our night rooftop pictures.
  Overall, Live Events was an incredible DJ. I'd highly recommend them for any event!

  Couldn't be happier!

The photo booth was a fun addition for all of our guests and provided another small favor for them to take home. The uplighting gave the room a whole different feel and took our photos to another level. The DJ was very professional, and obviously experienced. She made our wedding ceremony and reception flow perfectly, kept people engaged and having fun on the dance floor, and she knew exactly when to chime in when we weren't sure what to do next! Finally, the live streaming was a perfect option to have during this time, where not everyone felt safe attending our wedding. We couldn't be happier with this company and would recommend them to anyone!
