If you are looking for a vendor who will be fun to work with, has a variety of services, and will take care of you like you are freaking ROYALTY, then Live Events is the one for you when you say "I do" ! We worked with them for DJ/sound services, photobooth, and yard games for our wedding and could not be happier with their attention to detail and care about our day! Jenna Knox and her team made every point to ensure we got everything we wanted and they were fantastic to work with. The option to have so many things covered by one vendor was SUCH a relief and made our planning so much easier. My favorite thing was the music planning; we got a link to fill out all our wants, and this process also helped us solidify some of our plans for the day of! We also got to personalize our photobooth printouts, so it matched the vibe of the day. Literally the perfect vendor for us - cannot recommend enough!Live Events Missouri's reply:

Live Events ( Robbie and his wife specifically) DJ’d and Officiated our wedding in August and it couldn’t have been more perfect! Three weeks later and friends and family are still talking about how great they were! They were friendly, professional, hilarious and brought so much more joy into our day! They answered all of our questions, were in depth in getting to know us so they could offer a tailored experience. More than a vendor, they became friends. My husband and I almost didn’t go with a DJ because we’ve never been impressed at weddings we’ve attended, but then we were introduced to Live Events and knew we were in the best hands! The process of selecting a great DJ was of most importance for our daughters wedding and we talked to several- Lilly was the perfect fit of the vibe we wanted and on the big day she did not disappoint! She met with us prior to the big day to go over what we wanted on the schedule and specifics on the music. This group was so professional from start to finish!
The cost of their service was not just reasonable for the time and quality but for this level of professionalism I would have paid so much more! Worth every single penny!
Lilly - I just can’t tell you enough how amazing she is! Her energy and ability to manage the night and keep things running and smooth has been all our guests have talked about! I mean when you keep guests pumped and involved for 5 hours- you are a Hero!

There were several moments where guests rushed or tried leaving and DJ Alayna was on it. She took all of the Brides song requests, announced events, was flexible when mishaps happened, communicated, made sure to check with the bride on what SHE wanted.
I was the bride and everyone was basically ignoring me about timing and the schedule but Alayna made sure she did everything in her power to keep everything on my provided schedule. If we weren't feeling a song she would cut it short without anyone having to ask, she danced with us, assured me everything was fine, just an amazing experience! -

We used Live Events for Cold Sparks, Photo Booth, DJ, and Officiant services, and they killed it on all fronts. They were able to add officiating services pretty late in my planning process and made some move in the staffing so that they could make that work as Dennis was now going to officiate AND DJ the reception. They were on time, professional, and kept the party going all night. We did a private last dance, and they even filmed that for us and sent it over which was great because I forgot to set up my phone to record it. Dennis was an amazing officiant and talked me through the ceremony nerves ahead of time (I think he could tell I was anxious). His ceremony script was well thought out and personalized to us which I really loved. I even had friends come up and mention a joke he made as their favorite part of the ceremony. I also appreciated the guide he has you fill out as it lets you give them guidance on if you want religion mentioned and what tone you want the ceremony to take (i.e. do you want jokes or is this to be a serious event).
I will 100% be using Live Events if I need a DJ for anything else.Live Events Missouri's reply:

Cannot say enough great things about how amazing this company was to work with for our wedding. Robie was our DJ and he was so kind to put together some mashups for us and worked with us prior to event day to make sure everything was in order. On wedding day, the ceremony music and reception music was on point! Our "must play" songs were worked in between some songs of the DJ's choosing but fit our vibe of the night perfectly. One of mine and my husband's favorite things about working with Live Events Missouri is how they treated us as friends, not just clients. We also rented a photobooth station from them for the reception as well. The photos were hilarious and we loved that we went with the option that included a photo book of the night where guests could write messages with their photos. My wife and I consider Live Events to be the most OUTSTANDING provider of First Class professionalism. We hired them and they MORE THAN delivered. They kept the pace of our entire wedding and reception and did so in a fun-filled atmosphere.
Because of their amazing experience, we got to relax while they handled all the music, games, and announcements. All 150 or our guests had an incredible time and even mentioned to us how everything went so smoothly.

Jenna the dj kept the party hopping all night! She literally was so great in ensuring the guests were kept in the loop the entire night. The couple loved x files and she was made aware and went out of her way to play the x files theme song as a surprise for them. Also, there was an inside joke with a cardboard cutout of Danny Devito. When they did a couples dance she even joked about how if someone didn’t have a partner they could dance with Danny. She was very personable and even helped clear plates in her free time. In addition, there was an issue where the hired officiant didn’t show up on time. I called Live Events as a back up and the owner Dennis told me he was an hour and a half away at another wedding but would come immediately. He rushed to our aid even when I told him the other officiant finally showed up. He showed up ready to help in any way he could. This company is top notch in all they do. Professional, polite, friendly, fun and ready to exceed your expectations. The only mistake you could make on your wedding day would be not hiring them.Live Events Missouri's reply:

Our wedding day was perfect, and these guys really helped make that happen. Dennis was great as an officiant and DJ - we were so pleased with how smooth and sweet our ceremony was, and the reception events (first dances, shoe game, sparkler photos) and music could not have been better. The photographers were ideal - Ike was so fun and kind and interactive and professional and made my bridal photos a wonderful build up to seeing my husband (!!) for the first time at our first look. Everything he and Micah did for us to capture the day so we can re-live it forever was amazing. Definitely use this team! Also, having one primary person to schedule through, ask questions, and generally get the idea of what you are supposed to do for planning these types of things for your wedding was very nice and easy!Live Events Missouri's reply:

We hired Live Events to do music (DJ services) and officiant services (spoiler alert, Dennis is amazing!) for our June 2021 wedding, and we were so incredibly happy with the results that they provided!! Where to begin…
1. Ceremony
Live Events provided pre-lude and ceremony music for our wedding. We were outdoors but there were no issues with sound or mics which was great! Everything went smoothly and per our wishes.
2. Officiant
Dennis was our officiant and did such as amazing job! He was funny, well spoken, and prepared. My husband very nervous to stand up in front of people, and after the fact, he told me how Dennis kept cracking jokes to put him at ease. Subtle hints of humor throughout our ceremony kept it light but memorable. Despite not doing a rehearsal with Dennis, he remembered all the queues and announcements that needed to be made after the ceremony. He also sent our marriage license into the county office on our behalf so we wouldn’t have to worry about it. Finally, upon request and additional small fee, Dennis was able to cut music for our ceremony for when I came down the aisle. The music that I picked was originally too long but he was able to cut it precisely and it came out exactly the way I envisioned it in my head. Absolutely fantastic job!
3. DJ Services
We. Danced. Our. A$$es. Off.
DJ Heather was AMAZING! We got so many compliments from our guests about how that was the most fun they had ever had dancing at a wedding! Once Heather got the dance floor started, it did not stop until the night ended! She even got out there and danced with the crowd. We loved her style and spirit. We could not be more grateful!
4. Overall, we were very impressed with Live Events. From start to finish, they walk through timelines with you, make very good suggestions (the shoe game and avalanche dance is a must!), and were completely professional. We didn’t have to worry about a thing!

I hired Live Events for my wedding on September 18th. I couldn't find a DJ in Kansas City that checked all of the boxes so I was delighted when I found Live Events! Live Events was a great value for the quality of service they provided, even after travel fees!
Before the wedding, Live Events was responsive to my questions. They even had me fill out detailed ceremony and reception guides beforehand.
We didn't meet our DJ, Eric, until the day of the wedding, but he didn't disappoint! Eric made all the announcements we needed to keep the wedding running smoothly. He was flexible and adjusted our schedule when we fell a bit behind during the reception.
My husband and I really wanted to have a fun dance floor and Eric delivered! It was the best dance floor I've seen at a wedding! At one point, I told myself I'd take a break during a song I didn't like. However, Eric played so many good songs that I only stopped dancing when my photographer told me it was time for our night rooftop pictures.
Overall, Live Events was an incredible DJ. I'd highly recommend them for any event!Live Events Missouri's reply:

We hired Live Events Missouri for our DJ, photo booth, live streaming, and uplighting at our wedding. The photo booth was a fun addition for all of our guests and provided another small favor for them to take home. The uplighting gave the room a whole different feel and took our photos to another level. The DJ was very professional, and obviously experienced. She made our wedding ceremony and reception flow perfectly, kept people engaged and having fun on the dance floor, and she knew exactly when to chime in when we weren't sure what to do next! Finally, the live streaming was a perfect option to have during this time, where not everyone felt safe attending our wedding. Dennis provided us with Officiant and DJ services for our wedding. He made everything fun, friendly, and stress free. His professionalism and experience really shows. Everything about Live Events Missouri LLC! They were professional and friendly and everything turned out perfectly for our wedding day! We greatly appreciate how well the music turned out for our ceremony and the reception! Our guests had a blast as well and we definitely did not want the night to end. We also received some drone footage of our venue free of charge, which was a nice added touch! :) We will definitely recommend Dennis Cox and his staff for future events to our friends and family!Live Events Missouri's reply:

Our DJ was Eric. He was so amazing he worked great with all guests, had an amazing professional attitude and personality. He was incredibly great to work with and flexible with little last minute changes that we would make or throw at him! The whole company was amazing to work with and I can't recommend them enough!Live Events Missouri's reply:
