Anna Jane at Little State Flower Co is a gem! These guys were a breeze to order DIY flowers from for our June 2022 wedding. We chose 6 "warm palette" buckets, which gave us lots of material to work with. The flowers we got were absolutely premium, which was an awesome surprise - peonies in a range of pink tones, foxgloves, snapdragons, sweet pea, and more - so the resulting arrangements and bouquets were way more luxurious than we could have afforded with a retail florist. Anna Jane even greeted us when we picked up and personally helped us load into the car! I would absolutely trust them with a full-service floral order as well. -

Incredible local flowers with personal touches of whimsical drama and creativity.
Little State Flower Co was spectacular! They made my wedding dreams come true- filling the tent with colorful ethereal wildflowers, adding dramatic natural arrangements at the bar and dessert table and made a dreamy arrangement with glass domes over local hand-picked flowers and moss to feel like a magical forest garden! They made me a floral hairpiece and a bouquet with wild strawberries to match my flower girls' head wreaths made of strawberries and greenery. I got compliments all night! I would highly recommend them to all my friends. They even helped me put together DIY flower buckets for my bridesmaids and I to arrange bouquets on the morning of my wedding for a fun activity! -

So in Love with Little State Flowers!!
My flowers were unbelievable!! Unique, funky, beautiful beyond belief!! They are super responsive and flexible and were very patient with me. I loved that they ask to be 'a flexible bride' in that whatever they harvest is what you get...which is amazing!! Still beaming about my flowers, days after my wedding. -

We wanted locally sourced flowers without sacrificing quality, variety and a diversity of color and texture. That was perfectly achieved. Our grass aisle was lined with low arrangements that looked as if they sprouted from the ground. The exterior and interior of the tent were filled with foliage and greenery in very large installments that accomplished our dream of the space feeling like it had been overgrown for decades. Little State Flower Co. are a group of dedicated, thoughtful individuals and their care and attention shone through every detail. It was such a pleasure to work with them and we would recommend their amazing skill to any and everyone! -

I had Little State do the flowers for my wedding in the fall of 2017 in Newport, RI and I cannot say enough positive things about them! I knew I wanted non-traditional and local flowers for my wedding and did not know too much about flowers but the one thing I knew was that I wanted dahlias included in my wedding. I looked into Little State for my wedding after seeing them at the Aquidneck Island farmers market and finding out they were located on the island. I was hoping to keep costs down and have the bouquets made and my mom was going to help with making the centerpieces. When I contacted Little State they let me know that we could get DIY buckets of the most seasonal flowers at that time and could also customize the items we wanted made for us. I ended up having the bouquets, corsages, boutonnieres made and got two DIY buckets of flowers. We worked with Jill for the bouquets, corsages and boutonnieres. I had a very general idea of what I wanted and she took my ideas and the end product was more amazing then I could have ever imagined. Anna also made sure the DIY flower buckets matched the flowers in the bouquets so everything would coordinate. My one thought for flowers for my wedding was to have local and fresh flowers and I honestly could not have loved the flowers anymore! I would definitely recommend Little State to anyone looking for local, fresh and unique flowers for their wedding along with amazing friendly florists to work with! -

Jennifer Sent on 02/19/2018Little State is the absolute best! I gave a rather vague, minimal idea of what I wanted other than splashes of color, the general "feel" of the location, and wow! They went above and beyond, and it was STUNNING. The flowers were so striking I had no idea that I would fall in love with my flowers as much as I did. Anna has the best taste, she is the loveliest person that immediately will put you at ease, and her flowers are incredible. This company has everything going for it, sustainable, local, incredibly friendly, tasteful, but really, it's the quality that makes Little State the absolute best. A true wow factor for your wedding.

Mary Sent on 02/27/2018Anna Jane Kocon and Jill Rizzo are two incredible individuals who will surpass your expectations for your special event! Little State Flower Co provided the freshest seasonal flowers and foliage, which added a very special touch to my daughter's wedding on July 1, 2017.
Anna Jane spoke with my daughter Liz about what her thoughts were for her bouquets and venue statement pieces. Liz's response was simple; seasonal flowers, colorful and artistic arrangements which reflect her personality and outdoor venue. Liz was confident that Anna Jane and Jill, would create unique and authentic pieces with just this information. Little State Flower Co and Studio Choo East were on point!
The flowers were AMAZING and all of the guests commented on the artistic presentation and their beauty. Mary, the owner of the venue in New Hampshire, was blown away by the design and variety of flowers used in the wedding. Her one complaint was that Little State Flower Co wasn't closer!!

I’d met Anna through the Aquidneck Growers Market, and when I got engaged I knew I wanted to use her flowers. I didn’t have strong feelings about exactly what I wanted for my bridal bouquet, but trusted I was in the best hands with Jill. She made me the loveliest seasonal bouquet and she even incorporated a couple of little tokens and charms I gave her, like a piece of jewelry from my grandmother. If their gorgeous aesthetics aren’t enough to win you over, Anna’s commitment to local, sustainable flower farming should be a huge point in Little State’s favor. They also have great affordable options; I purchased a “DIY bucket” and had a ton of fun with my mom and bridesmaids assembling their bouquets and some small arrangements to our in jars along the aisles. I can’t recommend these wonderful ladies enough!

Oz Sent on 04/15/2018We had a terrific time working with Jill and Little State Flower Company. They covered two events (approximately 150 people for both) for us and made things look beautiful. We approached them with general ideas which Jill was quickly able to translate into proposals and realities. She incorporated gourds and many other Fall themed flowers and perhaps most impressively built a wedding arch out of all natural materials. Very calm and easy to work with!

If you want beautiful flowers, but are flexible on the specifics, Little State Flower Company is a great option (plus local and sustainable, too). We got high-quality and well-arranged flowers for a relative discount; the "DIY Buckets" would have been even more of a steal, if we had been willing to go that route. My only ding on the company is that their communication was sometimes lacking, but ultimately they delivered a 10/10 value.
