  Flexible and insanely delicious

  Kim was able to get us low sugar and gluten free options with all the deliciousness that pie should be.

  Kay did a wonderful job with my daughter's wedding cake. We had a layer of grand marnier and a layer of the chocolate truffle, and both were moist and incredibly flavorful. At the tasting, Kay was very helpful in designing the cake to match my daughter and her fiance's preferences. I highly recommend Little Apple Pastry Shop.

  What can I say? These ladies were extraordinary! I wanted baby cakes for my wedding with a small square cake at the top of a cup cake tower and the bakery worked with me. They made it delicious and PERFECT! My flowers were anemones and they managed to design an anemone flower on each cupcake. The presentation was beautiful and they tasted delicious! My guests are still telling me how good the baby cakes were. I loved working with them and I would use them again for any other event.

  We had such a great experience working with Kay. We used Little Apple Pastry Shop for pies for our wedding this past weekend. They were amazing to work with throughout the process. Even with snow causing us to reschedule our tasting they were amazing! The pies were delivered on time and an absolute hit with our guests. Their shop is adorable and everything we tasted was amazing. Cannot say enough positive things about this bakery.

  My husband and I used LAP to provide pies for our wedding. I’ve never liked traditional cakes and against my husband wishes I chose to have pies for our wedding. Conversing with Kay prior to my wedding was easy and she was very accommodating, she was very personable, but most importantly professional and responsive. I was very leery and worried about the presentation of the pies. Kay calmed my fears by adding an artist’s touch by placing a purple ribbon around the pie edges to match our wedding colors. I must say that I was very pleased with the pie table.

Kay was more than willing to rise to the challenge, she was eager for feedback all the while excited to add a new recipe to her already outstanding repertoire. My husband and I were happy to visit her shop for tastings until she perfected the recipe (having a home-made sandwich for lunch didn't hurt either!). She also provided us with light snacks for our wedding party and immediate family for the day we set up the wedding venue as well as the day of when we were too stressed to eat. She delivered everything and even made an extra couple's cake so we could take it home! Although not a traditional wedding cake specialist, Kay did an amazing job and is extremely accommodating. She was a pleasure to work with!

  PIE PIE PIE. Need I say more? Why spend big bucks on a fancy pants wedding cake when you can get one of every pie and have the happiest guests ever? We went this route (obviously). The Little Apple Pastry Shop in Aldie is the absolute cutest little mom & daughter team that makes delicious pies. They must have 60 different flavors to choose from! We had plenty of classic fruit pies but the talk of the wedding was the apple maple bacon jalepeno pie. Even the fiddle player in the band asked if he could try some! The Foxhunter's pie was a close runner up. And the cherry. Mmmmm.
  
  They make cakes too but we were so excited about pie we didn't even entertain the idea of cake. Support a local, small business. Support a women-owned business. You won't regret it. The owners are super helpful and flexible and you will love the pie!

  To be honest we did not have a wedding cake at our wedding - We had wedding pie! 120 small cutie pies to be exact! I could not have been more excited when I found Little Apple Pastry Shop only a short distance from my wedding venue and tried their wonderful little pies - I was sold! They were exactly what we were looking for to be a little bit different from the traditional large cake. Kay was super helpful in helping us make our pie selections and delivering them to our venue. Thank you so much! They were a big hit.

  Neither my fiancé nor I are very fond of cake, and all the samples of wedding cake that we tried were especially dry. Therefore, pie seemed like a moist, deliciously, and autumn-friendly (we were married in October) option. Kay invited us to a pie tasting at her shop in Aldie, and from there we chose Chocolate-Bourbon-Pecan pie and Pear-Cranberry-Ginger pie. Even if neither of those flavors tickle your fancy, Kay has numerous other options from which to choose, and will absolutely work with you to find the perfect pies for your wedding! She was an absolute pleasure to work with, and was very accommodating to our needs. We hope to return to her shop for some pie very soon!
