Very responsive and great food!

Jamie was amazing to work with during the planning process! She was always quick to respond to any questions we had. The food was great. All of our guests loved it!

Fantastic!

Lisa’s catering was fantastic! The lasagna we had was great. The staff was so helpful during the whole planning process and the wedding. They were on time, efficient and helpful. I would definitely work with Lisa’s catering again.

Great Experience!

We hired Lisa's Catering and it was one of our best choices we made for our wedding! The food for our wedding was very good and flavorful! We were concerned that when you make meals for such a large number of people, the quality wouldn't be as good. Boy were we wrong! Lisa's Catering knocked it out of the park! The food remained high quality even for so many people! They were very professional and worked well with our venue including serving out our dessert. I would definitely recommend Lisa's Catering again!

Helpful, friendly with amazing service

Lisa’s catering was amazing during our entire wedding planning and wedding day! They were extremely helpful, flexible and friendly. My mom and I went to Lisa’s for the taste testing. She set a nice little table up for us both; table cloth, charger plates, silverware and glasses. She brought out each dish and let us try it and talk about the food privately. Afterwards we talked about the food and what I liked the best and choose the best plates possible. It was easy, quick and relaxing. I did not feel pressure to choose a certain dish or napkin.

When we would email them questions or concerns they would answer us by the next business day. Our guests raves about their food the day of and the next day. We loved the food as well. It was so delicious and the best wedding food I’ve had.

I highly recommend Lisa’s catering. They are extremely friendly, helpful and their food is delicious.

So good you'll want to lick your plate!

The food was amazing quality during our taste test. I remember wanting to lick the plate but didn't want to be weird... On the day of the wedding, the quality and taste was just as outstanding as the first taste! The pricing is also something to rave about. I can promise you will have an amazing dinner without breaking the bank if you choose Lisa's Catering!

We had a blast writing work Lisa's Catering for our wedding! They made the food planning portion of our wedding easy and fun. We made a few changes along the way and Jamie with Lisa's Catering was accommodating. The staff was punctual on serving the food at the correct times. They were quite during speeches and cleanup. Overall they did a great job and I would recommend them to cater any wedding.

Working with Lisa's Catering was so wonderful! Jamie was very responsive and helpful during the process. I loved how they set up the table for us during the tasting. - it gave us a good feel of how things would look at our wedding.
The food was AMAZING! We went with the Chicken Supreme and Meatloaf and our guests were very happy with these meals. I especially heard good reviews from those who had the meatloaf. The staff at our venue the evening of were very friendly and accommodating and if there were any issues they didn't let me know about it.

We highly recommend this caterer!

My husband and I got married in September. We hired Lisa's Catering based on a few reviews here and there and it was the best decision I made for my wedding planning! Jamie was so professional, helpful, and attentive to every one of my (and my mother's) needs throughout the planning process. When we were finally able to do a tasting we were relieve to confirm, yes, Lisa is an amazing chef! I highly recommend the chicken and wild rice :)! We did have a few dietary restrictions that Lisa and Jamie took care of with no problem. Since my wedding was in a backyard and down a hill I assumed there might be some issues but, nope! They arrived on time and set up without any fuss. The food was served fast and piping hot and everyone loved it! My mother-in-law is still talking about it. They cut our cake and got it served promptly. They even helped serve our small cake after my husband and I cut it. In fact the only time I really talked with the servers (who were super friendly and professional from what I heard) is when one of them sweetly came to tell me they were all finished and heading out for the night. I was so happy and surprised I think I hugged her! Hire Lisa's Catering. You will be so happy you did!!

From day one when we called Lisa's Catering to provide a meal for my daughters wedding, they we exactly what we needed. We needed guidance, advise....help. The staff is top notch, the meal was excellent and the experience the best. They had to deal with an outdoor wedding and a hill and they did it happily and saying it was no big deal. They dressed the tent so it looked like a grand ball room and serviced the meal the same way. My sister-in-law was watching the crew and said she had never seen anything so efficient before and she was in food service for years. The meal was ready to go when we asked for it; it was hot and served without a hitch. They only time I spoke with them was to say lets' do this and at the end to thank them. Lisa's catering is the best and I would use them and recommend them

We really enjoyed having Lisa's Catering do the food at our wedding. The staff was very friendly, and they had no trouble maneuvering through the odd setup at our venue. It was so great having a catering group there that had catered the venue before, and the food was delicious! The staff even saved us (the bride and groom) some hot appetizers to enjoy later since we were whisked away for photos during the cocktail hour. I would definitely recommend Lisa's Catering to more brides!

Lisa's catering was SO amazing! From start to finish they were absolutely professional and so easy to work with. Jamie had our back the whole planning process and during the wedding, I didn't have to worry at all. The food was fabulous- everyone LOVED the Swedish meatballs and the salad. People were raving about the food which made me so happy! I can't thank Lisa's catering enough for such a wonderful experience. There is a reason we went with them for my sisters wedding and then mine!

We could not have been more pleased with our experience working with Lisa's Catering. Jamie was a breath of fresh air - she is so knowledgeable yet humble and so helpful yet not pushy. Their food is excellent - they have classic and inventive dishes that are total crowd-pleasers. Our guests were complimentary of the meal and our passed appetizers. I would have swam in the mashed potatoes if I hadn't been wearing such a nice dress. Lisa's charges less for plated meals than buffet because that is what they prefer to do (and as we learned, they are insanely good at it). We hosted our reception at a new venue in St. Paul - Jamie came by the venue in advance to check out the space and figure out how she would run the dinner. This was above and beyond and really gave me peace of mind. Finally, the servers were professional and cheerful- we received compliments from our guests on this specifically. My sister observed a really sweet moment during the dinner service where the servers were cheering each other on out in the hallway as they came and went. Our wedding day/reception was so joyful that it truly meant the world to us to have the catering staff's spirits match ours. We wish these guys all the success in the world - they are doing it right.

Do not hesitate in contacting Lisa's Catering for an amazing meal and more on your special day! I met with various catering vendors to do taste tests, and there is just something "home-y" about Lisa's Catering - it's sooo good, and very reasonably priced! Jamie and her mom go above and beyond to help make sure everything is as you want it to be... for me, that meant a lot, as we had a slight miscommunication about the hot chocolate bar at my reception, and Jamie was very attentive in getting everything worked out! Guests raved about the food, but Lisa's was so much more - they were the charger plates, the napkins, the drinks, the special toppings for the hot chocolate, and the spot-on service :) True professionals and catering experts!

Jamie and the staff at Lisa's catering did a great job! They got the food out quickly and were very professional. The food quality is decent, you get what you pay for. I would recommend them to a friend.

Lisa's catering recently catered our food for our wedding at 413 on Wacouta Event Center. Let me start with the basics, the food was AMAZING! This mother/daughter duo is great at what they do and they executed the meals perfectly.

Starting with the appetizers- we had the caprese skewers, jumbo (literally, GIANT) shrimp shooters, and stuffed mushrooms. We had these butler passed by staff that were very well presented and did an excellent job of approaching guests at appropriate times to offer apps. We totally ran out- which is a good thing!

The dinner: we started with a ceasar salad which was perfect. I mentioned to Lisa during our trial to go lighter on the dressing- because I have had so many salads at weddings with soggy lettuce. It was perfect! We served our guests the bruschetta chicken or the braised beef with vegetables and garlic mash. Everything was also a hit. Everyone's meal was served to them hot and the whole room was served in a very timely manner with no tables left waiting.

I don't know how they did it- but I was more impressed with the actual wedding day meal than I was during our trial! That really says a lot, because I was very impressed during the trial and decided I wanted them to cater our event.

We ended the night with bagel bites and an array of snacks- cheesey popcorn and some chex mix if I remember correctly. People were walking out the door with bagel bites in their hand!

5 star raiting for the service, the food itself, the presentation, the cost, and the professionalism I received while working with Jamie. She was very prompt and professional.

My husband and I are so happy with our decision to work with Lisa's Catering for our special day. Jamie was organized, informative, and fun to work with from beginning to end. She and her team truly made our planning process easy. They were flexible with our needs, had great options that worked with our budget, and offered vegetarian and gluten-free dishes. On our wedding day, the catering staff were very professional and courteous. They were a pleasure to work with and ensured that everything ran smoothly. The food is delicious, the price is very reasonable, the service is excellent, and they go above and beyond to help make your day truly wonderful. Being a fellow wedding industry professional, I have worked with Lisa's catering on many wedding days throughout the years. When it was my turn to be the Bride, I knew exactly where to turn for my catering! Jamie and Lisa helped me create a custom menu for my Husband and I's Brunch reception. Jamie was easy to communicate with and organized. On wedding day I got to be a blissful Bride not worrying about a thing as she took care of everything behind the scenes. Jamie was so easy to talk to and wasn't pushy and allowed us to make the choices that best suited us for the wedding and were very flexible with our requests. The servers were so easy to talk to, conscientious of all of the details, and were very polite and efficient with their work. They were very indiscreet with their service and did an amazing job of serving the food and clearing the tables with very limited working space at our particular venue! Everything about the wedding was perfect and the food service was no exception! So, thanks again for being easy to work with and for the great service you provided!

We loved that Lisa's Catering is a mother/daughter duo who have been in the business quite some time! The staff was accommodating, flexible and professional. This is a fantastic value for the price. The food was quite tasty and no one went home hungry. Lisa's Catering even accommodated our last-minute request of adding two special meals for vegetarians when we learned two of our guests were vegetarian. I would recommend Lisa's Catering to everyone.

Lisa's did a PHENOMENAL job catering our event and helping us prepare beforehand. Despite my last minute indecisiveness, they were calm, pleasant and accommodating. Their food was delicious, served hot and they cleaned and packed up without being noticed. I would recommend them to anyone for any event in the Twin Cities area.

My fiance and I had looked at five other catering companies before we tried Lisa's Catering and the moment we met Jamie, we knew we were going to choose Lisa's Catering. Jamie was extremely friendly and really worked with us to understand our budget and goal for meal service. She made us feel at ease during the entire time leading up to our reception and even accommodated several last minute requests/changes.

When it came time to our reception- everything was perfect. The staff was very efficient and friendly and the food was just as tasty as it was during our taste testing. Multiple guests came up to us after the wedding to inquire who our caterer was. They made several comments on how hot the vegetables were, moist the chicken was and delectable the beef gravy was. Everyone just absolutely loved the food.

We also wanted to provide a late night snack for guests and Jamie recommended their bagel bites, which I am very glad she did. They were the perfect way to cap off a perfect evening. I cannot say enough good things about Lisa's Catering- they are absolutely fantastic!

We are so pleased that we chose Lisa's catering for our Minneapolis wedding. We reviewed and met with a few Minneapolis/St. Paul caterers and were immediately drawn to the timely response and ease of nailing down a menu within our budget. Jamie and Lisa worked well with us to accommodate special dietary needs of guests with NO hassle. They were always friendly, encouraging, and extremely professional. Our guests were very pleased with the food and service. No prolonged waiting, friendly service, and professional attire. Choosing Lisa's for our catering service was one stress free part of our wedding!

Choosing Lisa's catering was one if the best decisions I made for my wedding! We started off working with Jamie who was so kind and helpful through the entire process. She answered our Many many questions and really worked with us to help us find what we really wanted as far as meal choices and linen details went.

They promptly returned calls and email with whatever questions I had. They also had quite a bit of experience at my venue which was helpful with their set up. Their plated dinners are actually less than buffet style which I loved! Plated was what we wanted as it made it a breeze for our guests to find their seats and wait. The dinner was also served so fast! I have been to other weddings where the food has taken forever so it was good to be on schedule for the other planned events of the night.

All of our guests raved about the wild rice stuffed chicken. I would highly recommend Lisa's. It is an easy choice to go with Lisa's. I went to over 5 different caterers before visiting Lisa's. Please take my advice and save your time searching and choose Lisa's!

When we sent out for quotes, Lisa's was the only catering service to call me directly to get more information and put together a detailed list of options. The tasting was great and Jamie suggested that instead of appetizers, she could put together a full meal for a cheaper price! They were very easy to work with and made the day so much more manageable! Our guests loved the food and our event was a great success!

We had a fantastic experience with Lisa's Catering. Jamie was wonderful to work with from day one. She is warm, welcoming and was very accommodating to our needs throughout the process. We had 3 guests that needed gluten free meals and 2 that needed vegetarian options and she was able to make all of this work with no hassle at all.

During our tasting, we fell in love with both dishes (chicken parmesan and stuffing encrusted pork chops) and we couldn't choose just one, so my husband and I got both on our plates! And the food was just as good at the reception as it was during our tasting. Not to mention the strawberry vinaigrette on the salad was soooo amazing! On top of the great food and great customer service, Lisa's Catering provided all of our linens, chargers, plates, and dinnerware. This made planning the wedding so easy for me because I knew all of this was taken care of.

We looked at several caters and we are so happy we went with Lisa's Catering! We would both recommend them to anyone looking for great taste, great service, and great value!

My husband and I would love to recommend Lisa's Catering to any future bride and groom! We met with Jamie and she was so friendly and willing to work with in our budget. Lisa's Catering was amazing! The food was so flavorful and delicious. So many guests came up to me and my parents and were in awe of how great the food was. My grandpa who never eats food from places other than his house ate his entire meal! Jamie was so great to work with. She was on top of it all and I never had to worry about how things were going on her end. The packages offered are very affordable for any wedding budget. They also have so many different options of entrees to choose from! I was very impressed with them and would recommend them to any bride looking for a quality plated dinner caterer.

My fiance and had the opportunity to meet with Jamie from Lisa's Catering back in January to start planning for our wedding in July. We were not only completely sold by the amazing food that they had prepared for our tasting but also their sensitivity to our budget. Jamie did a great job working with us and giving us exactly what we were looking for and made sure to stay in the price range in which we were comfortable. I could always depend on a speedy response any time I had a question leadig up to our wedding. The day of our wedding the catering staff was very professional and kind. Our guests took notice to how efficient the staff was and how smoothly dinner was served. Our guests were blown away by how good the food was! Most people I had talked to told me that it was the best meal they had ever eaten at a wedding. I can't thank Lisa's Catering enough for helping to make our wedding a huge success!

My husband's second biggest concern about the entire wedding day (after not running out of alcohol) was that the food was served piping hot and tasted delicious. Lisa's Catering met and exceeded our expectations! We chose Lisa's Catering because we needed a competitively priced caterer (the cost per person ended up being under $25!) who could serve delicious food to 300 people quickly and efficiently. They were very easy to work with and even changed one of their menu items for me in order to make it gluten free. We served the stuffing encrusted pork chop and gluten free chicken bruschetta fyi. As the bride, I was unbelievably happy with hearing so many guests rave about how much they enjoyed their food. Both my husband and I agree we definitely made the right choice in Lisa's Catering!

From our first tasting with Lisa's we felt so at ease and confident in them. Jamie (the manager) went totally above and beyond for us. The planning process was so easy and they were so flexible. For example, they didn't have the napkin color we wanted at first so Jamie ordered them and made sure they matched our blue. She gets the small details and will go out of her way to help you get everything you envision. I also appreciated that Jamie was easy to reach whenever I had questions.

On our wedding day we held everything at the same location, but our venue was slightly awkward for switching over from ceremony to reception in the same room. Lisa's staff helped set-up with smiles on their faces while some of our guests and wedding party milled around in their way. They were really great and we appreciated their attitudes. Plus our tables and place settings looked amazing thanks to them! Our guests at our wedding had nothing but great things to say about our food and the service. We will definitely recommend Lisa's Catering to any of our friends and family.

There are a lot of catering services out there so we tried our best to explore some different options for our wedding. In many ways, most catering services are very similar and yet, Lisa's Catering stood out to us right away. We met with Jamie several months before our wedding and were impressed with her involvement and sincerity. At our tasting, Jamie took the time to explain all of our options and helped us customize a package that fit our vision (and our budget). Over the months leading up to our day, Jamie continued to connect with us to go over details and updates, which made us feel like she truly cared about our day. The day before the wedding she visited our venue to look at the space - we did not have a full working kitchen or running water so she wanted to be prepared. She said it wouldn't be a problem and we talked about a few options for how we preferred the day to run. On our wedding day we were incredibly impressed with how smoothly everything went. They arrived early and they were so kind and polite to our family and friends. Best of all, they had the food to everyone with perfect timing. With 175 guests we were amazed to look around and see so many people receiving their meals so quickly. We have received several compliments on their service and lots of comments about how delicious the food was. The staff is so friendly and Jamie is very punctual and a delight to work with. We will be recommending them to friends, family and clients of ours as we have been extremely happy working with Lisa's Catering from very the beginning.

Jamie, Lisa and all their staff were amazing! We have a great tasting and booked for my sister's wedding right then. So easy to work with and great all around people. They were a one stop shop for all our catering, linens, chargers etc. Jamie is extremely responsive and always there when you have last minute questions. Jamie, Lisa, dad and staff were so busy at the wedding and make everything flow perfectly. I can't say enough about them! Lisa's Catering was absolutely wonderful to work with. Jamie was very responsive to all of my requests. They were even willing to do a gluten-free and vegetarian meal without any additional cost. I received many compliments on the food and my gluten free and vegetarian guests really appreciated the options that were given. We had lasagna, garlic mashed potatoes, and green beans and all were excellent choices. Lisa checked in with me multiple times during the night to make sure everything was taken care of. We even forgot to get cake plates and Lisa was our savior with extra cake plates for us. They went above and beyond to make sure that everything went well!

5 stars is the highest rating and they earned them! Like most of you planning for a wedding; there is a budget. Lisa's catering made our short list initally because of the selection and value. After the tasting we were very happy and after the wedding we were absolutely thrilled.
If you want to quit worrying about this part of the wedding, Lisa's is the choice. Select your appetizers, entre, post dinner snacks then relax and focus on everything else because Lisa's will take care of the food and more. When we arrived at the reception site the tables were set, coffee, punch and appetizers were ready, and dinner was being prepared. Service was excellent, food was excellent, and Lisa's left the kitchen spotless. I won't hesitate to use them in the future.

Lisa's, catered my daughter's wedding at Centannial Lakes Park in Edina. The staff were very professional. I cannot say enough good things about this caterer. Their prices are the best around and the food was delicious and the serving size is generous. On the day of my wedding, the servers arrived early and offered to help me with ANYTHING I needed. They even lit all of our votive candles for the centerpieces during our ceremony so we didn't have to worry about it. They served all courses promptly as well as cut and served our cake. Everything was beyond perfect and I will recommend them to all of our friends and family that are getting married in the future.

We worked with Jamie throughout the process and she was extremely fast at getting back to us and very flexible with what we wanted to have happen. Their service was absolutely perfect during the reception. The food was hot, delicious and served extremely fast.

We contacted many different caterers before making our decision but Lisa's was by far the most reasonable and the service/quality they ended up providing was far and beyond over our expectations. We emailed Jamie almost constantly with questions/ideas and she was awesome to work with and always got back to us within the next day if not the same day. They made our reception worry free and way better than we even could have imagined.

The food was fantastic. We had the most amazing selection of appetizers during the cocktail hour, and I am STILL hearing compliments about them - months later. I didn't get to eat any myself as I was too busy socializing, but they definitely made an impact. Extra props to the catering staff for dealing with the packed ballroom. There was hardly a walkway between the tables as the guests were crammed in there, and the staff was able to serve a hot fabulous meal to all 240 guests in a very short time period. The quality of the dinner was also fantastic - highly recommended by both my husband and I.

Highly recommend Lisa's Catering. I originally decided that I was not going to use chargers in my wedding, but at the very last minute I changed my mind. Lisa's had no problem accommodating this decision. The chargers looked lovely, and they were a great price! There are a few choices for entrees that are not your traditional wedding food. My husband and I both LOVE Mexican food, so we chose enchiladas as one of our entrees. We also requested an enchilada sauce that was spicier than the original we had tried. On our wedding day, the sauce gave us just the little extra kick we were looking for- and it was still safe for those with the very Minnesotan taste buds :) Our guests loved having an option that they normally don't see at weddings- and kept talking about them the next day!

We hired Lisa's Catering for our daughters wedding at an outdoor venue. Jamie and Lisa met with us in advance for a tasting of menu items we were considering. During the tasting they were very willing and encouraging to make substitutions and customize based on our requirements. We never worried about a thing. The servers showed up at the venue on time and dressed professionally. The food tasted great and was served hot. The meal was plated and served quickly - much better than having guests interrupt their conversation to stand in a line. Following the meal the serveware was collected quickly and unobtrusively. All-in-all a terrific experience for us from a fellow Anoka Area Chamber of Commerce member.

We worked with Jamie at Lisa's Catering, she was very responsive to all of our questions and made accommodations for our guests with certain food allergies. The contract reflected everything and there were no hidden fees, very honest and upfront; she even told us to order linens through our event coordinator to save us some money. The food received many compliments. The staff was very professional day of and worked through some guests making last minute meal changes. The day went so smooth, it was great! As a bride I did a lot of research regarding caterers. The budget was my main concern. Our budget was limited, and we wanted to have a fairly big wedding. The catering staff and the food at the wedding were fabulous! Everything went very smoothly and we were very impressed day of. Beforehand, communication was very difficult. It would sometimes takes weeks and even months to get a response which led to a few stressful moments.

From all the reports I recieved from our guests - the food was fantastic and I have to agree to that. The servers were so kind and helpful and I just loved everything about my weedding day.

What I had the most difficult time with was working with the wedding coordinator. She was unresponsive, didn't seem to have a sense of urgency and when we finalized our desires with her she neglected to tell Lisa! She caused me huge stress throughout the experieince. I suggest dealing with Lisa directly because she was fantastic!

Our food was good, but it was cold. I was disappointed that the first plates (the head table) were cold...I was curious how cold the last plates served would be. It also took a long time to be served. We were told to seat and 45 minutes later we were served our salad. Then, there was a lot of downtime in between the salad and main course.
