Lisa was amazing. She captured our beautiful day perfectly. She executed some of our crazy ideas flawlessly. She had great suggestions for locations.
I also need to mention that she went above an beyond in the height of the pandemic to accommodate us in our tiny civil ceremony as well. We feel so blessed that came through and captured our most beautiful moments and stuck with us all this time. -

Due to Covid, we had to change our wedding plans quickly in 2020. After canceling our destination wedding we had planned, we reached out to Lisa to reschedule our wedding in Chicago in September '20. She was quick to reply and from out first phone call I could tell she would be perfect to help capture our wedding. From the start Lisa was able to provide recommendations of where to take photos around the city and was extremely flexible with us which was great after having to change all of our previous plans and start from scratch! When we met Lisa the morning of our wedding, she made us feel comfortable from the start and my husband and I both had so much fun walk around downtown with her! All our photos turned out perfectly and Lisa turned them around super quickly so we could make the big announcement to all of our friends and family. I would 100% recommend Lisa and I hope to be able to work with her again in the future. Thank you, Lisa!! -

Lisa hands down is the best! She is patient, kind, a great listener and exactly what we needed for our wedding! We had a fusion wedding and she went beyond our expectations for the final pics. We used her services from beginning to end.. from the engagement photos to our wedding! We will be returning customers for sure.. -

My husband and I can’t say enough good things about Lisa! We are a couple that normally takes the most awkward photos and had nothing but nerves around finding someone to capture our big day. From the very start Lisa put us at ease. She was beyond helpful with the planning process and really goes the extra mile to make your day special. Her work is incredible, she handles crazy family members effortlessly, and she captured so many moments we didn’t think to add to our “must have” list. We went with the 2 photographer package and we loved working with Kathy as well.
Did I mention Lisa is just fun to have around? Don’t look any further – you found the photographer who won’t let you down. Can’t wait to find excuse to work with her again! -

I met Lisa when she did my best friends wedding a few year ago. When it was time for me to get married I knew Lisa was the best person for the job and she did not disappoint! She did our engagement and wedding photos and we were so happy with them all. She is responsive, creative and very orgainzied! We will be using Lisa in the future to remember other big moments in our life! -

Perfect photographer!
Lisa is amazing! From the first time we spoke over the phone, to meeting in person to go over our wedding day details, she was on top of everything! Even rain on our wedding day didn’t stop Lisa from capturing every beautiful moment. We are so thankful for her! My husband and I have both been in weddings with cheesy/fake poses, and loved how natural and candid our photos turned out. Thank you Lisa!!! -

I spent a lot of time searching for photographers and am so incredibly glad I found Lisa. Lisa clearly has a ton of experience in photography and weddings because she managed our planning and wedding day like a breeze. She has a very calming aura and a way of coordinating the wedding day that drives success in getting people in positions and on time, but doesn’t cause a frenzy or any stress. There was only one stressful moment of our day when I showed up for the first look and my groom wasn’t ready. Lisa immediately reassured me in a way that made me completely forget about everything else and just focus on seeing my future husband for the first time that day. Lisa guided us through the planning process and I felt so confident in her that I let her drive most of the shots. And this is all the logistics, I haven’t even gotten to the pictures yet! Our pictures are absolutely gorgeous, I can’t find a single one that wasn’t framed super well, edited well (but not too much), and perfectly captures our day. Lisa captured so many amazing moments of our wedding and was incredibly thorough with her shots. She blended into our wedding very well and got some truly great candids that I’m so grateful for. At the end of the night we even asked her for an extra hour, which I’m sure messed up her night, but she said yes and gave that extra hour her all! We couldn’t have asked for a better photographer! -

Lisa was incredible! She really took the time to get to know us by meeting a couple times before hand and we immediately knew she was the one to go with and we couldn't have been happier. The pictures turned out better than we could've imagined. She has a great eye for different shots and views and unlike other photographers that just give you some of the highlights they thought were best, she gave everything. We loved Lisa! She did an amazing job and we're so happy we went with her. -

I was referred to Lisa by a family friend and I am so happy that we were connected! Lisa was phenomenal to work with and made the entire process very easy. Before the wedding we met at the venue to discuss the day-of schedule and scout shooting locations. Lisa also had excellent recommendations for locations to shoot pre-ceremony photos around the city. Throughout the process Lisa was prompt and professional. The day-of Lisa was a rockstar who kept everyone on schedule and kept everything stress-free. I loved working with Lisa--I highly recommend her! -

Allison Sent on 07/02/2018Lisa was *amazing*. So easy to work with an quick to respond to my emails. We live in Los Angeles, she's in Chicago, and we did a destination wedding in the middle of nowhere Wisconsin, and everything was coordinated perfectly despite all of that. She was loads of fun and super quick to get our photos back to us. Also, we shot in a very poorly lit location (House on the Rock) and even though it was clearly going to be difficult to get the proper lighting, she did it! Would highly recommend.

Morgan Sent on 06/14/2018In a word: amazing! We were fortunate enough to connect with Lisa while looking for photographers to take some pictures of us while honeymooning in Paris. Not only was Lisa super friendly and communicative leading up to the photoshoot, but she was extremely kind and flexible when I had a severe allergic reaction to something a few days before our scheduled shoot. She was gracious enough to reschedule for what was I'm sure a less convenient time and place a few days later. The photoshoot itself was a blast! Lisa knows what she's doing and knows how to direct you during the shoot to get fabulous photos. Her husband was also there and we had so much fun with them both we ended up getting dinner afterward. Finally and most importantly, when the pictures came in just a few days later, we almost fell over when we saw them... they were simply gorgeous and more than we could have imagined or hoped for. I wish we lived in Chicago so that we could have Lisa photograph all of our major family milestones. So anyone that does live nearby, take advantage of the true talent and delight that Lisa is! -
Chip Sent on 12/07/2017I cannot say enough good things about Lisa! She went ABOVE and BEYOND to make our wedding day so special. She helped us with brainstorming photo ideas and even suggested what we eventually chose as our wedding location! It was obvious that she truly cared from the start. Our wedding sort of evolved from the time we initially hired her and she was so flexible and rolled with all the changes to the plan with no problem! She always responded in a timely manner, did exactly what she said she would, and we had a little fun along the way!
We couldn't be happier with the end product either. She truly captured the essence of our wedding day and the shots are so creative and beautiful and fun. Everyone we show our photos to has the same comment: "Your photographer is amazing!" I can't narrow it down to my favorites and wouldn't get rid of any of them. And she continues to blow me away! She has since helped us put together several different wedding books for family members (and ourselves) and each one is more beautiful than the last!
Hire this woman! You won't regret it.

Lisa is extremely easy to work with, calming and reassuring and creative beyond belief! We highly recommend Lisa to anyone looking to turn their memories of their special day into vivid photographic remembrances! -

We were procrastinators who took forever to book a photographer - we wanted someone who understood our vision, was within our budget and was available for our non-traditional wedding when we happened upon Lisa's site, and we are so glad we took a chance. We live five hours away from Chicago and were booking for a destination summer camp wedding and Lisa was great and quick to answer any questions, send more galleries and throw out ideas.
The day of the wedding Lisa (and her husband Donnie) jumped right in and were great to work with and went above and beyond to help us (like helping my husband get dressed!). They were flexible, excited to be there and fun to work with. We had a lot of moving parts and a lot of activities to capture and Lisa executed perfectly. They even stayed late when we ran behind schedule to get all the shots we wanted. The sneak peek was up the next day and we had an online gallery to look through all the photos in two weeks and they are AMAZING. Seriously better than I ever imagined.
