Felt like a princess

Lisa and her team did such an amazing job. She answered all my questions timely and made everything such a breeze. I was unable to do a trial run due to being from out of town and not being able to come down early but even without the trial she made me look and feel like a princess. The whole time she was doing my party’s makeup we were all talking like we have known each other forever and laughing. She was amazing and I felt amazing. I will forever cherish her work and the time she took out of her day to make my family and I look so amazing.

Amazing work!

You can't go wrong with Lisa! Her work is incredible. As the mother of the bride, I wanted to feel confident in my appearance on my daughter's wedding day. Because makeup and hair isn't really my "thing", I called in Lisa to help! What a great decision! Lisa was friendly, comforting and professional on a very crazy day! She asked me what "look" I wanted and I simply said "do whatever". All I can say is WOW ... her artistry was amazing. After she finished my application, not only did I feel beautiful, but Lisa also made me look and feel 10 years younger! I had so many compliments on my hair and my makeup. Working with Lisa was an awesome experience and I highly recommend her! Thank you so much Lisa.

Excellent company and end result!

I can't recommend Lisa enough! From my trial to the wedding day and everything in between she was accessible, responsive, and so much fun to work with! Her approach was very personalized and she really listened to what I wanted and executed it perfectly. She made me look like me, but BETTER! She was also incredibly attentive throughout the process, and even reached out to recommend various facemasks and other treatments ahead of time to make sure my skin was at its best for the big day! Overall the experience was 10/10 and would highly recommend Lisa for your wedding or other special event!

Lisa was just as absolutely amazing as her reviews made her sound! Makeup had been one of my biggest concerns because I don’t usually wear a ton of heavy makeup and being on the beach I wanted something more natural and not heavy, but that would last in the heat and humidity. She absolutely nailed it and was so great at staying in touch and informing me of what to expect, how to prepare, etc. Just went above and beyond. Plus she was WONDERFUL in person! Every single one of the girls was overly ecstatic about their look, and it was so much fun watching their transformations. Would definitely recommend.

Lisa was amazing to work with!! She was very accomadating as we were coming from out of town and very personable. Lisa uses top of the line products and was able to work miracles on my dry skin! All of my bridesmaids loved their make-up and our mothers looked 20 years younger! You get nothing but the best with Lisa!

I got married June 6, 2015 in Franklin.I was an older bride (61) and wanted to make every effort to look my best on my wedding day. Lisa was amazing! She did a prewedding run about a week before the wedding and got to know me better. She immediately put me at ease and calmed my fear about being older. I have never received so many compliments about how beautiful and young I looked on that day. I am forever grateful to Lisa for making me look so pretty, which gave me the confidence to cooperate with my wedding photographer.

Words cannot express how happy I was with my decision to have Lisa provide makeup services for myself, my mother and bridal party. I was a little nervous due to the fact that I was traveling in from out of town and was not able to have a trial run before my wedding day. I showed her a couple of pictures of what I was thinking and she was able to give me the look I was hoping for. She was timely, a pleasure to have around as we were getting ready and was able to make everyone in the party look beautiful. It was so convenient to have such a talented professional travel to our wedding venue rather than us having to plan extra time to get to a spa. She even provided me with a touch up kit that came in handy as the night went on. I highly recommend her!!

Lisa was amazing!!!!! GREAT personality, timely, and professional. She had top of the line products for bridal makeup for myself and my 3 bridesmaids. The work she did was flawless. Lisa did a fabulous job on everyone, all ages, all skin types. She is talented, reliable, and accommodating (we changed times and added people). All of us were very happy with our make-up. She is very professional, and responded promptly to emails. She really cares about giving each person the desired look. I highly recommend her.

Lisa is a FABULOUS makeup artist! She did my bridal makeup and my mother's makeup for my wedding day. She was so easy to communicate and schedule with. She came to our hotel and did our makeup in the comfort of our own room. We loved it and felt so amazing. Lisa is awesome and I recommend her to anyone needing makeup services!

Lisa's work is impeccable! My sister is a young model in Nashville, and Lisa was once her fabulous makeup artist for a photo shoot. My sister has worked with numerous makeup artists, but Lisa certainly stood out. My mom got her contact information, and the rest is history! Lisa did airbrush makeup for my mom, mother-in-law, 7 bridesmaids, and me for an evening wedding in December. As a bride, I was so thankful to be stress-free when it came to my makeup on the day of my wedding. I wanted the most important women in my life to feel the same way! Lisa confidently said she could handle 10 women the day of the wedding, and she did not disappoint. In fact, she exceeded our expectations! We ALL felt so pampered, and we truly felt like we looked our absolute BEST for the big day. Lisa is extremely talented in the art of makeup. Not only does she offer her talent, she also has such a calming presence and a hilarious sense of humor! Needless to say, it was a big blessing to have her as a part of my wedding day! In regards to her flexibility, I can really speak to that. The month before the wedding, I experienced some strange and debilitating health issues targeting my legs. My bridal makeup trial had been scheduled for months, but at the very last minute I had to cancel. She was so understanding and not only offered to reschedule, but she offered to come to my house so I did not have to go out (it was painful for me to walk). She is a GEM of a person and the best asset to any bride and her bridal party on her wedding day!

Lisa is AMAZING! She did my makeup for the rehearsal dinner and wedding day and it was absolutely flawless on both accounts. She also did the makeup for my mother, grandmother, maid-of-honor and mother-in-law. Everyone in the wedding party looked gorgeous and we received so many compliments throughout the evening. She is a true artist and I highly recommend her for any occasion! She was so much fun to work with and if I am ever back in Nashville I would love to work with Lisa again.

Lisa Johnson is a true artist! I am a middle aged bride and she made me and my female wedding party feel and appear youthful and beautiful! I highly recommend Lisa, she listens carefully to preferences but finds the best qualities to produce beauty. Both me and my 60's something sister plan to book a consultation with her later on just to learn from her!

I contacted Lisa a week and a half before my wedding when I realized I had not scheduled anyone to do my makeup. Although already booked for later in the day, she generously offered to come to my home very early in the morning so that I would make it to my hair appointment at our venue on time. She was very nice and a complete professional. She assured me my makeup would hold all day and night and it absolutely did, so did an amazing job. I would highly recommend her to any bride! :)

This was our second time to use Lisa for a wedding. She did the makeup for the bride, matron of honor, and MOB. Lisa is so easy to work with and is very receptive to how each of her clients wants to look. The makeup is not heavy, but instead enhances the skin and features of her clients. I would recommend her to anyone who wants to look their absolute best for a wedding day!

Lisa did an awesome job on my wedding day make-up! I am pretty picky when it comes to doing make-up since I wear it everyday. She listened to all my suggestions and it turned out flawless. Lisa also did the make-up for my bridal party and we had ladies of all ages. My mother and mother in law looked fabulous. More importantly, the makeup held up through the hot and humid August day. Lisa was extremely professional and easy to work with. I was not able to schedule my trial run till 2 days before the wedding, as I do not live in Nashville. I never worried about it though because of her awesome reviews. I highly recommend her for any brides that are planning a wedding in the near future.

I was more than pleased on my wedding day AND night with the makeup. The makeup looked great from the ceremony to the reception to the after party. Lisa is very professional and knows her stuff. LOVE her!! My girls and I had sooo much fun the day-of with her doing our make-up! On top of that, all of us looked FABULOUS. I actually had several guests compliment on how amazing all our make-up looked! You don't really ever get that compliment....She was professional and made sure everything was just the way you wanted it. Her goody bag for touchups is great, too! When a girls makeup was finished we would all say "ok let's see..." and then "Wow!" She will make you look your prettiest! Even if takes an hour :) I absolutely recommend her, and look forward to finding excuses to get my makeup done by her!!

Lisa did an AMAZING job on my wedding makeup on what was a hot, humid day in Nashville. My makeup held up the entire night - through tears in the ceremony, rain, and a whole heck of a lot of dancing! Lisa was so great! I had never had my makeup done before and I don't ever wear any, so I wasn't really sure what to expect. I was the most worried about my photos since I had never had professional ones done before and I wanted to make sure my makeup was perfect. Lisa did an amazing job for my wedding! We spoke a few times before the event about what I wanted, as we did not have time to do a trial run. She arrived on time and was setup very quickly and got started right away on my mother. I don't think my mom ever felt more beautiful! She took lots of pictures and I could definitely tell she loved her makeup and how she looked. Then Lisa started on me and even though it was alot of makeup, for me, it didn't feel like it. I still felt light and fresh. I felt very comfortable with Lisa and we just chatted the whole time! She made sure I looked exactly like I wanted to before she left. She left us with plenty of touch up makeup and tips on how to stay fresh in the outside heat of the day. She had another wedding to go to but she made time for me and my mom and made us feel like we were her priority that day. I would definitley recommend her to anyone looking for great, lasting makup for their wedding day!!!

Lisa was absoultely amazing! From the trial run to the actual wedding day, Lisa was on time, listened to the needs of the bride and bridal party. Lisa delivered an amazing result. All my guest could not believe how flawless I looked. The make up held up in the heat and I didn't even have to do a touch up. I would recommend Lisa for all events!!

Prior to my wedding, I contacted Lisa to do my makeup & makeup for several of our attendants. The day of the wedding, Lisa traveled to us on location. Several additional people showed up, & Lisa worked to fit everyone in even at the last minute. Even though she ended up doing makeup for 10 people in a short period of time, we all looked georgeous! She did a wonderful job & was a pleasure to work with. We had a lot of fun. She was courteous, professional, & flexible. For anyone who wants to look perfect on their wedding day, I would absolutely recommend Brides by Lisa.

ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL! I have hired Lisa Johnson with Lisa Johnson Bridal to do my daughters makeup twice. Once for Prom and again for Military Ball and both times she and I both have been so impressed with how beautiful she turns out. Lisa takes her time and makes sure that you are gorgous. We will be hiring her again for prom this year and for every event we have for now on.

Lisa did a wonderful job helping us when my daughter was in-between residences by doing our trial at her friends salon. She did a great job with my daughters hair which had extensions due to a short haircut that was still growing out. My daughter doesn't wear much makeup and what she did made her look like a natural beauty. I am sixty and always telling everyone that my skin is constantly changing and Lisa made me look flawless all day long.

Lisa was wonderful!! She uses great, long-lasting products but does a very natural look so you aren't too fake or made up looking. She also knows what works for pictures! She gave a very personal asessment to each of my bridesmaids and my mom and she used products according to skin type and recommended several products to us and gave great tips on doing make up in your everyday life. Her personality is great, too! She made me feel very comfortable and was organized and kept the flow of getting ready, on what can be a stressful day, very easy. She was right on time, if not a few minutes early, and very reliable. All my girls looked GORGEOUS and from the pictures I've seen so far, my makeup looks flawless!

Lisa was great!!! She not only did a beautiful job on the makeup for my mother and myself but she helped me through a small crisis (what seemed like a crisis at the time) on my wedding day. Lisa did an amazing job! I was very nervous about someone else doing my makeup because I typically don't wear a lot of makeup and my (now) husband doesn't like it when I wear a lot of makeup. Well I am so glad I took a chance with Lisa because it truely made a tremendous difference! Everyone, even now, told me how "stunning" I looked! I told them it was the makeup and the immediate response was, "it didn't look like you were wearing much makeup!" My bridesmaid were also very skeptical about someone else doing their makeup until they saw me after my trail-run with Lisa! Then all 3 of my bridesmaids and my mom wanted their makeup done too! Everyone looked amazing thanks to Lisa! Also Mary (bridesbymary) did all of our hair and she also did a phenominal job. They are both such a pleasure and delight to work with! They were so very entertaining and relaxed the day of, which really helped ease the stress of the day! Lisa and Mary were one of the best decisions I made! I would highly recommend Lisa and Mary to everyone.....YOU WILL NOT REGRET IT!!!!

I would highly recommend Lisa. She did my makeup and my practice makeup for the wedding. She listened to everything I liked and disliked about makeup in general and perfected my wedding day makeup. I was nervous about the makeup staying on all day as I have never had makeup last all day long. She put it on around noon and it lasted until the end of the night around ten. javascript:submitForm();Only thing I had to reapply was lipgloss, which she gave me! Lisa is also very accommodating and knowledgeable about what she does. Put me very at ease to know I had such a pro working on me :)

Lisa did a great job with my makeup as well as my maid of honor's and my mom's. We all looked beautiful, if I do say so myself! She came to us at the ceremony site, was on time, gave us just what we asked for, was extremely nice and professional, and was very fairly priced. Next time I need to get dolled up for a big, fancy party, I'm calling Lisa! You should too!

Lisa did a fabulous job. The bridesmaids looked flawless and I was thrilled with my makeup as well. My wedding day was 97 degrees and our makeup did not budge. I never even had to touch up. Lisa was fun and we had a wonderful time with her. I will sing her praises to any one I may meet in need of a make up artist.

Lisa were fabulous.She made me feel so much special on one of the best.Before I didn't know what I wanted for my hair except that I wanted it up.she came up with a neat criss cross design that when the vail was gone it was revealed.I really loved it.

Lisa was absolutely wonderful to work with! She made me feel like a princess on my wedding day, and did all the makeup for my wedding party including grandmothers and mothers. Everyone looked absolutely stunning!!! She met us at our hotel room the day of the wedding and included a consultation prior to the wedding. She included some great skin care tips that I still use today. She is very talented at her craft, and you will not be disappointed. I highly recommend!!! Totally worth the investment, and also a great way to treat your wedding party.

Lisa was great! She was not only a superb makeup artist but a very supportive and caring person to have around. The makeup looked natural, felt great, and looked wonderful in pictures. I can't count how many compliments I received on the makeup.

Lisa did an outstanding job on my wedding day make-up. She showed up on time for both appts and was such a fun and pleasant person to have around. She was sure not to leave without leaving me a touch up kit with customized lip color and no shine powder. She's full of tips as your prepare your face for your big day. Also, her prices are unbeatable for the quality of service you get from her. Lisa was wonderful! Our previously booked makeup artist cancelled three days before the wedding. Needless to say, we were panicked, especially since we were already in a chaotic state after moving the wedding location from Memphis to Nashville area just three weeks prior to the event (due to the poor health of the bride's father). Lisa with Brides by Lisa was recommended by my hair dresser and thankfully, had a cancellation on the day we needed her. Lisa was fantastic to work with and did a beautiful job. She was very accommodating and went the extra mile to make sure my daughter looked beautiful on her wedding day. My daughter was so pleased and considering we called Lisa with such a last minute request, we feel so grateful --- she was very efficient (letting us pay online with a credit card), quick to respond to our request, and displayed professionalism in booking the session. I feft comfortable after our initial conversation and reviewing her website that she would be dependable. She arrived on time and worked patiently around a group of frenzied bridesmaids, all trying to prepare for the ceremony at the same time. I thought the price was reasonable considering the importance of the day and the skill of the artist. As I mentioned earlier, Lisa was very flexible in working with our schedule, especially considering she had other bookings for the same day and accepted our booking after the cancellation of an earlier client. Guests commented throughout the day how beautiful the bride looked. Lisa's expertise and genuine interest in a "job well done" played a big part in making the day picture perfect!

Lisa was recommended to me by our photographers for our wedding, and I have to say she was absolutely stellar. She and her colleague Mary did an amazing job on both hair and makeup. She listened carefully to our usual habits and what we desired/had envisioned for the day, and was able to meet everyone's wishes exactly - a sign of a true professional. She was able to do a lighter more natural look for our parents, whileI have never seen my sister and I have looking so gorgeous. She and Mary were also kind enough to come directly to our hotel which helped make our day calm and stress free, and left up with touch up makeup to ensure our look would last the whole day through.

It was also a pleasure working with Lisa in the run up to the wedding day. She was completely professional and extremely responsive throughout, and I always felt secure and confident that she had our booking details correct - in fact, she was the only vendor to proactively confirm her appointment with me.

I would thoroughly recommend Lisa for all your makeup/beauty needs - great service and amazing skill!

Lisa was amazing to work with! She did makeup for me, my two bridesmaids, and my mom and mother-in-law. She made me look like a flawless version of myself, and my bridesmaids looked beautiful but not at all "overdone." I was also really impressed with her work on the moms, who looked age appropriate and GORGEOUS. My mother in law doesn't usually wear makeup, so Lisa was very sensitive to her requests and made sure she was comfortable with her finished look.

Lisa was also just plain fun to have around! She fit right in with us girls and we enjoyed our conversation with her as we got beautified. She arrived early to get set up, and got everyone's makeup done exactly on schedule for photos. She was all around wonderful to work with, and my photos look gorgeous!

We love Lisa! She did my makeup for face and tattoo coverage. She also did the wedding day makeup for my mom and mother-in-law. We all looked beautiful! Working with Lisa was an absolute pleasure. She listened to what I wanted and the overall look I was going for on my Wedding day. She took care of my skin according to its needs. I was extremely pleased with my look in the end as the faux eye lashes added the perfect flare to my look, my eye make up was classic and not too heavy, and the lip color we worked with for a while to find the right shade for my complexion. Not to mention the airbrush, which held my make up all day!!!

Lisa was so perfect for me and my bridesmaids to use on my wedding day because she came highly recommended and she came to me where I was. All I had to do was wake up and take a shower and she took it from there. This allowed me to feel very stress free and contributed to my glorious mood that day!!!
