Stunning and Joy-Filled Photos
Lisa and her work are exceptional. She was very transparent and easy to work with leading up to our wedding, and continued to be just what we needed on the day. I chose her because of the ease and warm quality of her work, her use of natural light especially drew me in. She made such good use of the summer camp environment where our wedding took place. We love our more posed photos that you expect to have at a wedding, but we are over the moon with the candids. Those photos encapsulate all of the love and joy we felt on the day. Both my husband and I welled up the first time we saw them. They are the perfect representation of what was, for us, the perfect day. Thank you Lisa! -

I spoke with Lisa three months before my micro wedding. In that first conversation, I realized her passion for her work, and for people. She even gave me a recommendation for a cake vendor. Anyone who knows her work knows she is a fabulous photographer, and overall lovely person. I would 150% recommend her. -

Lisa was the fastest to respond of everyone I contacted w/just a few days notice of the shoot. She was completely professional, was artful & creative w/an outdoor shoot for a surprise engagement. She was spot on w/our ideas & conveyed the personalities of the subjects perfectly. HIGHLY recommend!!!! -

Lisa and Nicole took beautiful photos on our wedding day!! They captured the day without being in our faces all day which I really liked. They captured the sweet moments between my hubs and I & they also captured the party/reception and all the emotion in the room. Truly! These pictures tell a story. My favorite were the candid pictures of the reception. The pictures really were magical!! That day was magical! When we got the pictures back we relived the day and were able to feel the emotion, love, and happiness in these photos. I definitely recommend Lisa. Lisa was super helpful in creating a timeline for me when I was first planning, her timeline actually set the stage for the entire day. NOT ONLY are Lisa’s pictures absolutely beautiful, she is very AFFORDABLE too!! Lisa worked with our budget which I truly appreciated!! Our wedding was kind of off season (Feb 8)so she was able to work with us thankfully! Definitely check her out. You won’t be disappointed!! We love our photos!! -

The best moments captured beautifully
I met Lisa as a bridesmaid in my friends wedding and loved how she interacted with everyone. And the photos from that wedding were amazing! As soon as I got engaged, I reached out to Lisa to also photograph my wedding. She didn’t let me down! The photos of the whole day of my wedding are perfect. I can’t recommend her enough. -

Lisa was such a blessing to us, although I had no idea about the proposal, I am so glad that my fiance found her to capture the moment. I was beyond surprised and having these photos to look back on a moment that means so much is something we will always treasure! Lisa and her team were absolutely wonderful to work with! We did an engagement shoot with her which helped us get to know each other and for us to get used to being in front of her camera. During our wedding day, she and her second shooter were absolutely amazing! Lisa is so talented and lovely to work with! I can't wait to put our wedding photos up all over our home! We HIGHLY recommend Lisa and her team, it was a blast having them at our wedding and we are so thankful for all of the beautiful photos we now have to cherish. -

Lisa is a one-woman shop that's based out of the Scranton PA area- although she'll travel anywhere in the world (and I think has ties to New Mexico as well?). We could not be happier to work with her for both our engagement shoot and wedding. She is so easy to work with, game for anything, and is a very talented photographer.
We aren't local to the Scranton area, so we had to book our photographer from the website portfolio alone. The reason we decided to contact Lisa was because her candid and action photos were beautiful. We feel that most photographers can get some good shots out of poses, but the real greats have an eye to grab people dancing or casually talking and make them look cool. Lisa excels at this and will give you a portfolio of wedding pictures you'll be thrilled with.
Can't recommend her highly enough- we can't imagine another photographer doing as great a job as she did. -

Lisa was wonderful to work with! From the initial phone conversation I knew she was the photographer for our wedding. Talking to her was so easy and it was evident that this is her passion. It was very important to me to have someone who could offer valid opinions about getting the best shots rather than just following our suggestions blindly to please us. She arrived right on time the day of and was really thrown into the chaos. Our makeup was running very behind and that was throwing off the timeline we had come up with but Lisa was quick to reassure me that I was not to worry about getting the pictures done - it was her job now! I am also SO happy we picked a package with the second photographer because Lauren was also awesome and got some amazing pictures of the guys getting ready. We just got our highlight pictures back (which was so many!) and have more photos to come and I can't wait to see them as well! They captured so many great images of the day that I honestly didn't feel like I experienced first hand. It really is true what they say about the wedding day going by in the blink of an eye! Looking through the highlight photos with my Husband and Mom felt like we were reliving the day minute by minute and some of the candid shots made us laugh out loud. We cannot wait to share with family and friends! Thank you for capturing the best day of our lives! -

Lisa is fantastic! She's quick to respond, and easy to work with. She's super flexible and up for whatever you suggest, which for us included dragging her an hour away to an amusement park. She made us feel comfortable and kept us smiling/laughing the whole session. Our photos turned out wonderfully and I have too many we love to choose from to display. Highly recommend! -

We're so happy we chose Lisa DeNardo as our wedding photographer. She's cool, calm, and collected. She has a way of seeming totally relaxed and un-rushed, while simultaneously managing to be in a million places at once, getting all the right shots. We were nervous about the couples shots before the ceremony, but it actually ended up being our favorite part. If you feel like you won't know what to do, or how to stand, she'll give you enough guidance without being overly directive. The process felt natural and un-posed, which came through in the photos: we looked like our best selves. Thanks Lisa! -

Lisa made the process so easy from the first call. She is intuitive, and has a true eye for beauty in capturing such an important day. The photographer she had with her, Nicole Karr, was also amazing, which proves Lisa's ability to match her talent with her assistant's to ensure that all photos are the best quality. Her turn-around time for the edited gallery was a few days over a month, just in time to send out our thank you cards for the holidays. We are so grateful to Lisa and have our special day captured perfectly. -

Communication with Lisa was easy from the beginning. She put me at ease and made my decision very easy, just based on our phone conversation (and I am not good at making decisions). We could not be happier with our engagement photos! My fiance and I are both not so comfortable in front of the camera, but Lisa had us at ease! We loved that she helped us pick a beautiful venue for our engagement photos. You can tell that she is so knowledgeable about what she does based on the way she looks at an area and knows exactly where to put us and her camera to make the best photos. We are looking forward to our wedding day with her!! -

Beyond the superb quality of her photography, she is a genuinely kind person. From our conversations on the phone, to emailing back and forth, to the day of our engagement shoot she was responsive, warm, and made the whole process stress-free. I can't say enough good things about her and look forward to having her shoot our wedding in a few months!

Mary Sent on 05/07/2018We chose Lisa as our photographer after speaking to about 3 or 4 photographers. She was the one that I really felt understood what we were looking for. She was great and was able to answer all my questions. As we approached the wedding she helped me plan out the day and suggested photos we should make sure to capture.
Our package included an engagement shoot and I warned her we were not super comfortable in front of camera, she was fast to put me at ease and helped coach us through pictures and poses. We included our daughter and dog and Lisa was down for all of it and super flexible with the location and including the whole family. The pictures turned out great and I was super pleased.
On the wedding day, we quickly went over the plan and got started. We planned a first look and wanted to get the wedding party shots out of the way early. Lisa and the second photographer we able to corral the family and get amazing shots prior to the ceremony and throughout the night. We are more than pleased with our pictures and all the memories captured. I would definitely recommend Lisa to anyone!

We wanted to take our pictures in the snow, she was able to work around our schedule and the unpredictable weather to accommodate. Lisa never had a photo shoot in the snow but she was willing to try anything. Our wedding date is New Years Eve and hard to plan picture taking because the length of the day and lack of daylight. She was extremely flexible and worked with us to set up a schedule within our budget. Our engagement session pictures came back fast and we love them. Thank you Lisa!

Natalie Sent on 02/23/2018I typically don't write reviews, but in this instance it's warranted. Couldn't be happier with the whole experience and final product we recieved from this photographer. I was generally a bit indecisive about everything... from the location to my outfit(s). Lisa was extremely helpful, and made sure that her suggestions were things that would truly fit us. She found locations not far from where we lived that I had no idea even existed, and it was perfect. She is highly professional and a lot of fun to be around, making it an enjoyable experience all around. Within 24 hours she provided some final editted products that were her favorite.... and will probably be my permanent Facebook profile and background pictures haha. Honestly, if your stressing out there isn't a need to. Just call Lisa!

We ended up choosing Lisa to shoot our wedding because our conversation when discussing her work was so organic and easy going. I knew she would be a great fit. Lisa spent 9 hours diligently photographing our day and captured everything perfectly. She even agreed to go on our Bloomsburg fair adventure to get our wedding pics! If you decide to have Lisa shoot your event, I assure you that you will not be disappointed; not only with her photographs but also with her professionalism.

Emily Sent on 11/28/2017My husband and I are so incredibly happy with our choice of booking Lisa for our big day! We cannot say enough great things about her overall professionalism, creativity and passion, all behind the lens and as a person! Lisa was calm, cool and collective from the first time we met her prior to booking, during the planning process, but most importantly throughout our big day. Lisa has such an attentive eye for capturing all of the special moments throughout the day, especially as chaos had been commencing all around. Prime example, my veil had flown out of my hair just as we were ready to do our first look photos.Throughout our day, I didn't have to worry about a thing when it came to making sure all of the necessary moments were captured because Lisa had it all under control! To top it all off - we didn't have to wait weeks or even months to have our engagement and wedding photos delivered to our inbox. A little over two weeks after the wedding, we were able to relive our day all over again through our album. My husband and I are coming up with ways on how to use Lisa again in the very near future, because we truly do not want to stop working with her!

Jackie Sent on 11/25/2017We hired Lisa DeNardo for our Summer 2017 wedding & engagement photos and could not be happier with our pictures and the whole process of working with her. When browsing through Lisa's website, we liked her “eye” right away and also admired that she linked to full albums and did not just cherry pick her best photos to show (like many other photographers do). After our first consultation, we could easily tell that her fun-loving, natural spirit matched the aesthetic that magnetized us to her photography. She made us feel at ease in that she was friendly and congenial, and she reassured us in that she was professional and diligent in her passion for photography. When we asked her if she’d go hiking with us for our engagement shoot, she didn’t flinch to say yes. She was accommodating, willing to travel to us, and her flexibility in scheduling was much appreciated after several failed attempts to set a date. The area for the engagement shoot required some adventuring, and Lisa gladly donned her hiking boots to get us our magical shots. Leading up to the date of the wedding, Lisa was accessible for all of the questions/logistics that needed to be entertained in preparing for the big day. The day of the wedding Lisa was either coordinating shots with us or finding them in her own stealthy manner. She appeared and disappeared to get the pics she needed without hindering the organic flow of the wedding. The whole time Lisa was “in the zone” and completely engaged with her art.
When we think back on our special day, it is impossible to decouple the photographer from the photographs. We are so blessed to have discovered Lisa for this role. Throughout our entire journey, she was accountable, familial, and wonderfully talented in her craft. We can't recommend her enough & look forward to using her services in the future. -

We knew our wedding pictures would last a lifetime and felt confident investing in Lisa to shoot the big day in the documentary style we wanted. She put us at ease from the very first consultation and everything else fell right into place. She was prompt, organized, professional and fantastic to work with overall. Everything felt very natural and unobtrusive. She guided us through some of the biggest moments of our wedding and really captured the best of our guests. We trusted her to get great pictures of our Sept. 9, 2017 wedding at Fiddle Lake Farm and she got AMAZING ones. She has a passion and an eye for photography that clearly comes out in her work.
