Even the foodies approved

Paula and her team are beyond perfection. They were so helpful picking out the linens (and so patient as I changed my mind multiple times!), they accommodated allergies and kids meals and answered so many wedding related questions along the way - food and non-food related!
The food was a huge hit and people are still talking about it. The service was top notch! We will be heading back there for our anniversary every year!

Exceptional Wedding Caterer

Linwoods was integral in making our wedding day special. Catering was our highest priority in terms of vendor selection, and Linwoods exceeded our expectations in every respect. They created a custom, family-style menu for us to reflect my husband’s New Mexico roots, and absolutely nailed every aspect. Our guests raved about the food, and even the guests who had flown in from New Mexico gave it a full stamp of approval. Linwoods also put on an exceptional cocktail hour and late night bar and food service for our afterparty. There was never a wait at the bar and passed hors d’oeuvres were plentiful. Linwoods also went above and beyond to create our ideal list of signature cocktails and mocktails, and went out of their way to source the exact wines, beers and spirits we wanted to serve. I cannot recommend them highly enough!

Mouth watering food!

Linwoods was amazing. The staff was on top of everything and always so attentive. My husband and I were always given new drinks whenever we were empty. We also were offered food so much. Linwoods is the perfect. Sherri is absolutely amazing and so helpful!

The BEST Catering Experience!

I will never stop raving about Linwoods! From the start, I could tell that Sherri and the entire Linwoods team knew exactly what they were doing. Sherri was there throughout the entire two and a half year process and we couldn't be happier. She was also incredibly honest and open about pricing and never tried to upsell us on anything, which is refreshing in the wedding industry.

We were able to customize so much and it was great to have Sherri's knowledge and and honest transparency about what guests care about and what makes the most sense for the wedding and the venue space.

I knew come the wedding day I wouldn't have to worry about any of the food or drinks, and all of our guests were absolutely thrilled. We were told it was some of the best food they've ever had at a wedding - and we agree! The additional staff to make sure the couple and the parents are taken care of is such a plus! So many people told me they didn't eat at their wedding, but with Linwoods, they made sure we ate and drank all night. I definitely recommend Linwoods and their staff to make catering as stress free as possible for your wedding.

Best food with the best service!

Linwoods catered our recent wedding at the Winslow in Baltimore and they were the absolute best! From the tasting process to working with us to customize the menu, to the day of experience everything was wonderful! Their food was incredible and people could not stop raving about how good it was. Rachel was our catering director and she was a true treasure to work with! She was super responsive, very attentive and totally understanding. They have their service down to a T and we could not have been happier with the entire experience. The restaurant is a great place to eat a wonderful meal in addition to them having a great catering team!

Amazing!

Sherri and her team at Linwoods were absolutely amazing. The food was incredible, the bartenders were so fun, the service was spot on (my husband and I had a personal waitress who made sure we ate and drank throughout the evening), and the cake was INSANE. All of my guests raved about the food and service. Highly highly recommend!

OMG Just Pick Linwoods

From the tastings through the reception we were blown away by Linwoods. Rachel is a phenomenal manager and contact point and offered great advice when needed. We had a multitude of compliments on the food from guests at the wedding. We had a few tell us it was the best steak they’ve ever had and many tell us they’ve never been better fed at a wedding. Absolutely first class service throughout.

Phenomenal, from start to finish.

Our guests raved about our food! We can’t tell you how many times friends and family were disappointed with food at weddings, including us. Our food was truly spectacular. It was just as amazing as our tasting. The service was quick and efficient - we had plenty of hors d'oeuvres - the dinners were all hot, and the bar was on point. My mom has some special requests that they promised and delivered, and the service in general was incredible. We dealt with Sherri, and she is so on it. I was relaxed from the second I emailed her and heard back. Her experience, organization, responsiveness and desire to please is unparalleled. We are so grateful we chose Linwoods, and can’t wait to go back to celebrate our one year anniversary. Highly recommend!

Linwoods has unmatched food and service for your wedding!

We cannot recommend Linwoods (and Sherri!) enough! From our very first meeting, throughout the planning process, and up to the big day itself, Sherri and her team were incredible to work with. Linwoods accommodated all of our requests, customizing our wedding to be exactly what we wanted. They were also very transparent and reasonable in what those customizations meant monetarily. Having attended many weddings ourselves, there were things we knew wanted to make sure happened - minimal crowding at the bar, ensuring guests actually got an appetizer, food allergies/sensitivities, etc. The team was on top of EVERYTHING the entire night. People cannot stop talking about how amazing the food was - seriously, it was out of this world. If you want fabulous food and stress-free catering, go with Linwoods.

So much more than a caterer!

Linwoods was one of the best choices we made for our wedding day. From the very beginning, their service outshone any competition. Sherri, the catering coordinator, is one of the best people you an having on your wedding team. She takes the time to get to know the couple, even asking us about our job placement and house hunt around the time of the wedding. She will go the extra mile to make sure everything is how you envision on the day of. The food was incredibly delicious and is of the same quality as the amazing food you will eat at the restaurant. The pastry chef is incredible and as a bride with a major sweet tooth, our cake was delicious! We opted for an open bar, and our guests were so pleased with the bar service and had a blast! Sherri also coordinated all of our linens for the wedding - we loved all it! We would highly, so highly, recommend choosing Linwoods for your catering and we hope to return for anniversary dinners in years to come!

Amazing and delicious

Linwood’s was so incredibly amazing, I am so thrilled that we picked them to be our caterer. Sherri was so helpful in so many more decisions besides catering - it can be so daunting when you’ve never planned a wedding before but Sherri was always there to lend her expertise and advice when we needed her. I could not have asked for a better caterer who was so attentive to our needs and the needs of our guests. Our guests continue to compliment the food and everyone enjoyed our option to have late night snacks. We love Linwood’s and since they are a restaurant it makes it easy to visit and enjoy some of the same incredible food that was at our wedding.

We cannot rave enough about Linwoods catering service for our wedding and all of the help that Sherri provided. The food was absolutely delicious, fresh and exactly what we wanted to serve our guests. The staff was attentive, professional and ensured that we stayed on our timeline for the day. Sherri remembered so many small details we mentioned at our tasting and truly made us feel like royalty. She truly went above and beyond her duties and helped us with the linens, tables and floorplan. We are so glad we chose Linwoods as our caterer and will be forever grateful at having the pleasure to work with Sherri to make our wedding dreams come true. Absolutely amazing!!

I cannot begin to describe our experience from Linwood’s. From day one, Sherri (whom I absolutely adore!!) have been so accommodating, tentative, professional, and above all so loving and caring to work with. Getting engaged in a pandemic, there was always some uncertainty, but Sherri and Linwood’s made us feel special throughout the entire process and kept reassuring us that everything was going to be okay and boy was it! Our guests raved about the food from the cocktail hour all the way to dessert along with the outstanding service. Choosing Sherri and Linwood’s was the best decision we made during our wedding planning process and I cannot recommend them more highly. We are looking forward to dining at Linwood’s for years to come and want to thank them from the bottom of our hearts for making our wedding truly the best day of our lives!

Linwoods Made Me Look Like the Hostess with the Mostest

We held our son and his bride's Night Before Party at Linwoods on June 25, 2021. Throughout the pandemic Linwoods stayed in touch with us and when we had a rescheduled date they were able to accommodate us. Not only was the food for our event outstanding, but the presentation and service knock it up even more. They were a delight to work with and I would highly recommend them.

Sherri is amazing!

We only had two catering options at the Winslow, and Linwood’s blew it out of the water when we were choosing.
Working with Sherri was AMAZING. She knows every detail and makes everything seem so simple. “Whatever you want.” She was exactly the type of person I needed when making the biggest decisions of wedding day (FOOD). I would choose Linwood’s over and over again, and Sherri is a big part of that!
All of the guests complimented how delicious the food was, and I was so thankful Sherri coordinated getting the ice cream I wanted. Service was fantastic. Eric and I always had a drink in hand and had food in front us as soon as we sat down.
Highly recommend!

Food People Will Actually Remember

Linwoods went above and beyond to make my wedding amazing. We debated between them and the only other caterer and they wowed us at dinner and then a proper tasting. The food was phenomenal, and as the bride, you don't eat much, but I made sure to get lots of apps and dinner!

Sherri answered all of my endless questions and concerns, she addressed the issues with guests who were pregnant and had dietary restrictions with ease, and the wedding went off without a hitch. Suzanne, the night-of POC, was introduced to me before the ceremony and she made sure everything went smoothly. I had guests tell me afterward how punctual and effective she was as a caterer, and that made me very happy to hear!

Sherri appointed me a woman named Shawn (sp?) who attended to me and my husband the entire night. She kept my entire family and bridal party fed throughout the cocktail hour and before the ceremony with endless apps, which were MUCH appreciated! Sherri even popped champagne with us before everyone arrived.

Linwoods, while pricey, was worth every penny and I can't thank them enough for delivering what was a wonderful meal that people will remember!

Sherri is exceptional, great to work with

Not only was our food delicious and the staff professional, the entire experience with Linwoods (Sherri in particular) was fantastic. Sherri went above and beyond to ensure we got what we wanted, and even connected us to a great wedding planner (Heather St. Clair). Best wedding food EVER

We worked with Sherri to cater our wedding on 10/26/19 and the entire process was amazing from beginning to end. First of all, the way they conduct tastings is incredible. We were invited to the restaurant for an initial tasting simply to determine whether we wanted to hire them (we were invited to order anything on their dinner menu to try), and then as we got closer to the wedding we came back for the official tasting to determine our menu. This was a breath of fresh air in contrast to multiple other caterers we spoke with who required us to book and then wait to do a tasting months later.

We immediately felt at ease with Sherri's confident and knowledgeable guidance. She gave wonderful advice and was so open to any of our requests, including adding a special apple cider bar in a side room at our venue. She made us feel like there was no such thing as impossible, and the answer to any request was always "yes." Any time we had a question, Sherri was there to answer within moments the whole way through.

Our guests were blown away by the food on the day of the wedding. We got SO many compliments and comments that it was the best wedding food people had ever had. The food was truly exactly as it was served to us in their restaurant on the day of the tasting. The steak was done perfectly medium rare, the food was hot, and everything was just wonderful. Sherri frequently checked in with us throughout the day and the staff made sure that my husband and I had everything we needed, from appetizers while we were running around during cocktail hour to refreshing our drinks. We felt so taken care of the entire day, and so did our guests. We cannot recommend Linwoods highly enough!

Sherri is AMAZING!

If you don't use Linwoods for your wedding you shouldn't bother getting married! Sherri and her team are UNBELIEVABLE. From start to finish the wedding was amazing. I am still hearing from people about how amazing the event was from the food to the service. This team is professional, kind and if I could give them Michelin star's for wedding food I would. What you get at your tasting is what you will receive at your wedding, but maybe better! We couldn't of asked for a better wedding day and it was Linwood's staff and food that made it all the more special!

Best decision ever.

I feel like saying Linwoods was the perfect caterer would be a complete injustice to their food, cocktails and service. Linwoods went above and beyond for my recent August wedding.

The food. The food was not only delicious, but beautifully presented, and best of all, it was steaming hot when presented to our guests. During cocktail hour, our guests raved about every hors d'oeuvre that was kindly passed their way, and last, but not least, the desserts. My now husband is a huge ice cream fan. Our guests were surprised with an ice cream sundae bar, and I am still dreaming about our wedding cake.

The cocktails. We served dirty martinis and aperol spritz to our guests as our specialty cocktails. They were a HIT and the bartenders served them perfectly. The wines were superb and Linwoods was able to source the beers we requested.

The service. Sherri is amazing! Not only as a director, but as a person. It was my true pleasure to be able to work with her and her team. They are professional, friendly and extremely efficient. They are flawless. By the end of my experience with the Linwoods team, they felt more like family and friends than a vendor.

Look no further than Linwoods. I promise you - they will not disappoint. They will be the best decision you made since you said "Yes!" to marrying your future spouse.

There is no better option.

We were completely blown away by Linwood's. From start to finish- they were an absolute dream to work with. Rachel was always so responsive and eager to answer ALL of my questions- which were plentiful! Friends and family are still raving about Linwood's almost two months later.. some have said it is the best food they have ever had- wedding or not! Not only are our guests still talking about the food but also the service. My husband and I felt like a king and queen! They were so attentive to our needs from the moment we arrived on site at the venue and all of our guests seemed to feel the same way. I could honestly go on for a very long time about everything they did to make our wedding day absolute magic but I think it is clear- they are THE best. I can't imagine working with anyone else! The best!

Working with Linwoods was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding at the Mt. Washington Mill Dye House. Rachel, the Executive Assistant at Linwoods, was a pleasure to work with from beginning to end. She was accommodating, helpful, enthusiastic, and made sure everything was perfect on the day of the wedding. The food was INCREDIBLE. Seriously, as I am writing this I'm dreaming about all the delicious things we had and wishing I could eat some of it again! In addition to the food, the wait staff were amazing as well. They were attentive and thorough. Our friends and family are still talking about the quality and taste of the food at our wedding. I'm SO happy we decided to go with Linwoods for our wedding, and I can't wait to grab dinner at the restaurant very soon!

First Class Experience

We couldn't say better things about our experience from start to finish with everyone and everything Linwoods provided for our February wedding. Sherri made sure that we were taken care of during every aspect of the planning as well as every moment of our big night. The staff during the night of the wedding were so pleasant and respectful of all our guests. They made sure to treat our parents specifically with extra special care. This truly meant the world to us as it was such a special night for them as well. The food was incredible! It was the most complimented thing at our wedding. The starters to the dessert, we couldn't have been more delighted. Linwoods provided a first class experience that made our wedding everything we hoped for and more. Not only will we recommend them to anyone and everyone, but we will certainly make a point to visit the restaurant again.

Linwoods is the bomb!

You just can't top Linwoods for quality of food, and service. On day of wedding, weather was great, so they suggested to move cocktail hour outside. Food was amazing, Service was top-notch. Everyone was commenting how great they were. We wanted milkshake bar, and Linwoods said no problem. We had wedding of 100 guests at DyeHouse, with NO wedding planner, and Linwoods handled all that for us without blinking an eye. We dropped off all the favors, cake topper, guest book, etc. on day before the wedding and everything was set up for us. As MOB, I had a blast at the wedding because I was free to enjoy it. Linwoods took care of everything! Would use them again in a heartbeat!

Impeccable

Our wedding was on April 20, 2019. Linwood's Catering went above and beyond what was expected and what was needed. Rachel was a life saver-every email, text or phone call was answered quickly with kindness and understanding. She and her staff set up and served an event that was rock star worthy. They were kind and efficient and made every single guest feel at home and important. No request went unfulfilled. The food was of the highest quality. There was so many delicious items that we were able to serve to our guests with Rachel's guidance and care. Impeccable

Linwoods has a wonderful and longstanding reputation in Baltimore thanks to their restaurant in Pikesville. Of course their catering service is different, but because we knew that Linwoods has a name that people know and a reputation to uphold, we were sure that their catering would not disappoint, and we were so right! From start to finish, our experience was incredible. We cannot say enough good things about the food, the staff, and especially Rachel! She was the ultimate professional, so very organized, flexible, creative, understanding, and enthusiastic! Rachel knew that this was the most important day of our lives and she treated it as such. We were impressed with the fact that Linwoods brought us in to the restaurant to taste their food before asking us to commit to them. They know that their food and service speaks for itself, and they gave us the opportunity to see and taste that so that we could feel confident going into a working relationship with them. We were choosing between Linwoods and another caterer who said we wouldn't have the opportunity to taste their food until our official tasting- no thank you! The other caterer boasted beautiful table scapes, but we cared more about the service and the taste of the food than instagram-worthy charcuterie spreads. Linwoods has their priorities in order and will not disappoint you from start to finish. We didn't have a wedding planner or coordinator, but Rachel filled these gaps in a lot of ways, and was our go-to for most every question. She helped us with our timeline for the entire night and made us feel so confident that our event would be a huge success. The day of our wedding, Rachel and her staff executed a perfect evening and we can't say enough good things about Linwoods! Linwoods is perfection.

It's hard to know where to begin to express the impact that Linwoods had on our wedding day. Every aspect of our wedding was perfect-largely thanks to Linwoods' attention to every detail!
Initially, we evaluated two possibilities for our caterer. Through that process Linwoods was clearly the absolute best choice for us. We were invited to enjoy dinner at their amazing restaurant, where we met Sherri, the Catering Director. My husband and I were welcomed by the hospitality of the Linwoods' staff, enjoyed an outstanding dinner, and were able to talk through the many possibilities for our wedding day. We were also fortunate to have the opportunity to attend Linwoods' Open House at the Dye House, our wedding venue. It was so helpful to see the venue and the Linwoods' team in action as we were beginning the planning of our wedding.
Linwoods was instrumental in helping me enjoy the process of planning our wedding. I am very detail oriented and had a very specific vision for what I wanted for the day. Linwoods proved to be much more than a caterer. Sherri was our "go-to" person for every detail of the actual event. She offered her expertise in many areas, and was so accessible as we worked through each piece. For instance, she set-up and attended the appointment to choose the linens, which was so helpful. Not only was she able to answer any questions about the physical set-up, but that day also gave me such a clear vision of how the venue would come together. As the time got closer, we returned to the restaurant for our tasting. With our parents, we again enjoyed delicious food, attentive, friendly service, and an assortment of choices that were perfect.
Our wedding day went exactly as we had hoped. The Dye House looked just as I had imagined, the flow of the day went smoothly, the food was amazing, and the service was incredible! Our wedding guests were blown away at the quality of the food and the stellar service. Both were the best anyone has ever experienced at a wedding. Of course, the catering is usually the largest piece of a wedding budget. Linwoods was truly worth every penny. Their team had such a huge impact on the perfection of our day!
Without a doubt, Linwoods' biggest asset is their team of people. Every person we encountered was friendly, professional, and went above and beyond to make our day special. I cannot speak more highly of Sherri. Her knowledge, style, and accessibility were instrumental in how our day came together. On the day of, she was in total control of every detail-so much more than a caterer. As I think back on the whole process, I can't imagine how we would have pulled it off without her!
We are so happy to be able to continue to experience Linwoods perfection in years to come! Since our wedding, we have already celebrated another special event at the restaurant.

Above and beyond!

Linwoods went above and beyond for our wedding! Sherri was amazing to work with-- understanding, professional, and dedicated. She answered all of our questions and worked well with all of our vendors. She was quick on her feet and discreetly solved all the hiccups that occurred. Above all, Sherri was kind and kept the bride, groom, and guests happy. The food was phenomenal; all our guests are still raving about it! We were able to customize our menu and create unique fall-themed dishes (including soup with our salads). We couldn't have picked a better catering company for our big day!

Royalty for a day. Linwood's only creates five star food. They handled everything for us - linens, food, bar, setup and take-down. The waitstaff were incredibly discreet, but the food spoke volumes!! Everybody left with full bellies and the restaurant's name jotted down! Special thanks to the management for ensuring the menu was a hit, and looking out for our friends and family's comfort ensuring a special day for all.

We just had our wedding at the Gramercy Carriage House and Linwoods saved the day. We were due to have our ceremony and seating outside but there was a torrential rainstorm and they problem solved the set up and it worked out even better than we ever planned. I cannot say enough good things about the overall experience. In particular, we LOVED Sherri Levine who surpassed any of our expectations (and we had some high expectations). The food was outstanding as was the service. We would give them 10 stars if we could.

My husband and I cannot say enough wonderful things about our experience with Sherri and Linwoods. From the very first tasting, everything has been above and beyond - from the service, to the quality of food, we couldn't be more impressed and grateful. Sherri is one of the kindest people I have ever met and made the entire planning experience stress-free. She had wonderful suggestions and provided guidance when I needed it. The food was outstanding - all of our guests are still raving about it! I would highly recommend using Linwoods for any event - truly fabulous!

The Linwoods team had no other competition when it came to quality and service. They were extremely helpful and organized and I trusted them 100% with my day. The day of they were committed to the timeline and kept all the other vendors in order. Everyone raved about the food and the cake! I will definitely be using Linwoods for future events

The food, the staff, the presentation, the professionalism, the overall experience was simply ah-mazing!! Linwoods delivered Top Notch Service and Outstanding Food for our daughter's wedding this past weekend! All wait staff and bartenders were so kind, courteous, and professional. The chef was spectacular! With over 100 guests, the meals were prepared and served perfectly. Flavors were amazing... from the cocktail hour hors d' oeuvres to the main course! The catering manager kept everything moving and perfectly on time. We have heard nothing but rave reviews from our guests, many saying it was the best reception they have ever attended! Thank you Linwoods for making this even of a lifetime so special and unforgettable!

Sherri and Linwood's were an absolute joy to work with. They were the first tasting we did and they set such a high bar that our other tastings just couldn't live up to. From being flexible with our menu choices to being incredibly accommodating for our guests with special dietary needs there was nothing we asked them they didn't deliver on. Sherri even went with us to help us pick out our table linens! I can't tell you how many compliments we have gotten on our food from our guests. They even asked us how many of our guests were under 21, pregnant, or otherwise did not drink and they didn't charge us for those guests when we added our bar package.

Linwoods is fantastic, without question. The food is top notch and the service is outstanding. What a wonderful experience we had with them. My dad is a huge fan of the restaurant, which is why we looked there in the first place. From the first meeting with the catering manager, the tasting, working with them on linens, etc, everything was great. We did have a change in who we were working with during the last week through unforeseen circumstances, but even that worked out without issue. Linwoods is committed to quality and to giving the couple the day they envision. I would highly recommend them - you will not be disappointed!

Linwoods did an amazing job catering my wedding at the Baltimore Museum of Art! All of the guests raved about the hors d'oeuvres and really enjoyed all of the food stations. The wedding cake was delicious and turned out more beautiful than I had imagined. Sherri did a fantastic job and made sure everything went perfectly. Honestly I can't rave about Linwoods and Tali enough. First off the food is absolutely amazing! I've gone to many weddings and the food is not always the best, but what you get at your tasting is what you get at your wedding and your guests will be drooling over it well after the wedding! Tali is so amazing and will make sure things go so super smoothly on your day! Her staff run things like clockwork and you will have no worries on your day! They were super accommodating to my husband and I after I had a huge medical incident right before the wedding and worked so well with us on it. They even helped my parents pack up the car with the presents! During the day of the weather was iffy and Tali was flexible with changing having the cocktail hour be inside and things went without a hitch. She made sure there was food and drinks for my husband and I right after the ceremony so we could have a few moments alone together and that there were someone catering to our needs throughout the day. They were so awesome that they even made our cake dreams come true by having it be beauty and the beast/batman themed just like our wedding and it couldn't have been more perfect, and they even gave us the cake as a wedding present to us too, which was incredibly amazing since we were on such a tight budget. Linwoods is worth every penny, the food is so delicious, they are extremely professional, and they make sure everything is perfect. They even folded the napkins into roses when they saw my theme with beauty and the beast, which was a complete surprise to me but so perfect. I highly recommend them and I thank them so much for all they did!!! Oh and they even pack up the leftovers to send home with you, and believe me, you will be sooooo grateful for that!! After a wedding you won't want to cook and will want to relive that food over and over again :)

The only advice I can give you is to BOOK THIS CATERER! Linwoods, and its representative Sheri Levin, was absolutely amazing. First, the food is not like any wedding food you've ever been served. The quality, quantity, and presentation--unbeatable. The waitstaff so professional and caring. The attention to every detail and the flexibility of every person involved-- outstanding. Just a little example: one guest was gluten-free. He realized the meat had been slightly dredged in flour -- before the guest knew it the chef had grilled him a delicious steak and had it to the table. There was no request too big or too small. As the mother of the bride, my server asked me what I was drinking, and every time I came back to my seat there was a fresh glass waiting for me. My guests raved about the food -- one guest called me the next day to ask the name of the restaurant (Linwoods has a brick and mortar restaurant) because he wanted to take his wife for their anniversary. His words, "It wasn't the best wedding food I've ever had; it was the best food I've ever had."
Last but certainly not least, Sheri Levin was amazing to work with. She was calm, supportive, professional, informative -- and she cared, really cared, that our event would be everything we hoped for. What a gem. We were careful with our budget, and Sheri helped up find ways to have the best food and honor it. For example, we provided our own alcohol, a great savings. Sheri told us exactly how much and what to get. In the end, we spent a little more than we thought when we started but every penny was worth it ten times over.

Seriously I can't say enough good things about Linwoods - the food is perfect, the service is impeccable, and the staff were all kind, fun, and extremely professional. We worked with Sherri and she not only helped us choose an out of this world menu, but she went above and beyond by helping to schedule and plan out the evening. The food at Linwoods is just superior and my husband and I enjoyed picking unique, delicious courses to share with our guests. The staff serving the dinner at our reception were all attentive and extremely kind. My husband and I were especially impressed by June - she was extremely sweet and checked on us continuously throughout the night and brought us drinks, snacks, and water when we needed it. We love Linwoods and look forward to returning to the restaurant for anniversaries and special occasions in the future!

We loved Linwoods. The staff were so professional, calm and detailed. It was better to call Sherri instead of email and it was all pretty easy to decide on the foods. The tastings were absolutely stunning and on the day the food tasted pretty much exactly like the tastings! We highly recommend Linwoods!

We were looking for an intimate venue to hold our small (72 guests) family wedding ceremony. Most venues seemed way too large for the size and style of the wedding we wanted. We actually held our ceremony and reception replete with dinner and dancing in the Linwoods' Due Dining Room. It was the perfect fit and atmosphere. Our guests raved about the food and the service of the staff. The onsite venue manager Rachel Maw was an absolute gem, and she made our special day even more special .

Linwoods really does service and food right. From the beginning Tali invited us to the restaurant to introduce us to their menu. The food was nothing short of spectacular. The menu options that were available for us to pick from was nothing short of a book and it was incredibly difficult to narrow down the choices for our tasting.

Tali understood our desire for locally sourced seafood and took great care to respect all of our guests that had allergies and dietary restrictions. We kept hearing from our guests all night what great service they provided, and everyone was very complimentary of our menu. The late night snacks were also a huge hit!

Tali and her staff were wonderful - with a special shout out to Michael who was assigned to take care of myself and my new hubs with drinks and snacks and basically anything we could want or need (even before we knew we needed anything). He was always available and anticipated everything. Everyone says you never eat enough at your own wedding but Linwoods made sure that was not a worry for us! Michael even took special care of our dog (our ring bearer). He really went above and beyond in his care of us throughout the day. Her entire staff were warm and friendly and took excellent care of us - including the two gentlemen that stayed behind while we after-partied. I really cant say enough about how great everyone was throughout the entire night.

Linwoods did an absolutely amazing job at the reception! The guests constantly commented how much they enjoyed the food and how wonderful the wait staff was. We worked primarily with Sherri and then Ellen was there the day of to direct everyone. Throughout the process, Sherri was great, repeatedly reminding us that if we wanted something all we had to do was ask and Linwoods could (probably) do it! Which was true when I sent Sherri a picture of the wedding cake that I wanted! The specialty cocktails were such a big hit, and at the end of the night when there was only enough left for one more glass the bartender poured it in a glass and gave it to my husband to give to me so that I could have the last glass of my specialty cocktail! I also can't not include the now famous "dancing bartender" in my review. The dancing bartender was a HUGE hit with my guests and has been mentioned be every single person I've talked to! My only regret is that I somehow managed to miss him the entire night, I did not get to witness his dancing! I could leave a long list of all of the wonderful things Linwoods did but I will just sum it up in this, they are professional but fun, I received numerous compliments on their food and service throughout the night from our guests, and they really want to work to make your day exactly what you want!

Linwoods and Tali were absolutely amazing! From the very first three hour tasting with my parents and future parents in-law, Tali guided us through every step. My fiancee/wife is Indian and I am American, so this was to be a full Indian ceremony as well as reception, about 120 people. Our event was at the Gramercy Mansion, both the ceremony and reception. Tali and the Linwoods crew did such an amazing job of switching over the atrium from ceremony to a full 13 tables all beautifully decorated during our cocktail hour. The whole process was seamless. Tali had a personal waitstaff for my wife and me, who discretely whisked us away to our suite for 15 min to change and take a breather before the reception.
With Linwoods you receive every bit of class and value that you pay for. The food really can't be beat and all our guests thoroughly enjoyed themselves! Linwoods gladly accommodated several Indian dishes that were delivered prior to the dinner.
When you work with Tali you don't just get a caterer; we were a bit unorganized as to our timeline but with Tali's vast experience with weddings there were no issues. Tali helped guide us through our timeline to make it both efficient and effective and to make it a truly wonderful experience for our guests and for us!
I will certainly look to Linwoods for future events.

There was not a single person (and we had picky eaters) who didn't LOVE everything they tried at our wedding. The options were amazing and the choices we went with were perfect. Linwoods sent us home with extra meals and leftover appetizers which allowed us to not have to worry about our meals for an entire week and feel spoiled as if we had taken a honeymoon-- which we haven't yet. I want to go to their restaurant for our anniversary every year because they are so amazing! Words cannot explain how happy we were with not only the food served, but the staff as well!

We want to express our thanks to Tali and her staff at Linwood’s. We are grateful for the work they did to make our wedding reception one to remember. Everyone mentioned to us how beautiful, delicious, and elegant the dinner was. We knew what to expect from Linwoods, but they still managed to exceed those lofty expectations by a factor of 10. Everything was perfect.

Tali worked with us from day one on every aspect of the wedding, offering expert advice from menu selections, table settings, place cards, scheduling, and a number of other matters both big and small. No question, whether in person, by phone, or email went unanswered. And Tali was always happy to field questions from other members of our family. It was important to us to forge a comfortable, professional relationship with our vendors. Tali and her staff are pros in every sense of the word.

The Gramercy Mansion carriage house was the location of our wedding day intimate dinner on the lanai of the carriage house an entire outdoor event, thankful the weather was amazing. We were taken care by Denise were really thankful for such an amazing experience. The food was great and definite worth it for future events.

We just got married July 26th, 2014 at the Walters Art Museum and Tali Adelstein was our off-site catering coordinator from Linwoods. I can't express how grateful we were to have her and her staff catering our event. Every time we tried a dish at Linwoods we were so amazed and just how delicious everything was!!! Now, the BEST PART about Linwoods (other than the food, of course) was the service. After the ceremony my husband and I were escorted to a private area where we were privately served drinks and hors d'oeuvres alone for 5 minutes to be together for a quiet moment. We had two servers feed all of us while we were outside taking pictures. We had a server who made sure my husband and I returned actually sat to eat each course. Jocelyn, our personal server, seemed to magically appear any time we needed anything at all. All of the servers deserve 5-stars because they were the nicest, most considerate and thoughtful staff I have ever encountered. They are not just a catering company; they are professionals, experts in coordination, and clearly love their jobs.

As foodies, we wanted to express our immense gratitude to Linwoods for making our wedding unique and special. There's not enough room to leave the comments which our guests had ("best food ever had at a wedding") but suffice to say, they were enchanted. Sherri was a delight to work with and seemed to know all of our various vendors. She worked with us over multiple meetings to design a complex and multifaceted menu with special foods important to our relationship.

The raw bar was reputed by our predominantly coastal relatives and friends to be one of the best they'd ever had. We were given a plethora of options for canapes and then were presented with top notch entrees. The white chocolate banana cream pie (in our dessert display) was divine.

Using Linwoods as my wedding caterer was one of the best decisions we had made. Not only was the food outstanding, but the service - during the wedding and planning, was top notch. The catering director Sherri, was so responsive, accommodating, and all around great person to work with. To be honest - every time I corresponded with Sherri, I was thinking to myself, "I am so happy I picked Linwoods". After the wedding I had nothing but great reviews from my guests about the food and the service. Our venue was The Castle at Maryvale, and at the time of booking the venue, we had 2 caterer choices. Though Linwoods was the more expensive of the 2 vendors - we definitely got what we paid for; therefore, they really were the best value.

We had Linwoods cater the food, and it was exquisite! A HUUUGE Thank You to Linwoods and their exceptional staff, especially to Lauren, our event manager! Lauren was perfectly professional and took care of everything. From the very beginning, Linwoods had fantastic customer service, were extremely flexible with their menu options until we had it just right. They even designed menu items just for us, and it was fabulous!
Their staff made us feel super special, took great care of us, and were always looking out for us. Thank you for helping make our wedding day the best day of our lives!

We can say that Linwood's exceeded all expectations for our daughter's wedding by providing the absolute best food and service, attention to detail, and value. Starting with our first tasting and introduction to Tali, it became obvious we would be in for a wonderful meal come the big day. The choices on the menu were so numerous I would say every palate could be satisfied. The day of the wedding Tali delivered on all fronts making sure our guests were pleased. During the reception and days later we were hearing endless compliments such as "delicious food and presentation", "more than enough to eat", and "terrific service". Guests are still raving about the food. We have heard many times "Best food they have ever had at a wedding".

The staff were truly amazing. They were attentive to the guests and very professional. Kudos to Jocelyn who was assigned to me. She was always right beside me when she saw I needed something.
The best decision we made was picking Linwoods for the wedding. I cannot come up with one thing I was displeased with. I can honestly say the day was PERFECT.

Linwoods is hands down the best caterer in Baltimore. Their food is AMAZING and everyone at my wedding raved about how good all the dishes were. My friend has previously used Linwoods as their caterer as well and the food was equally good at her wedding. Linwoods treats their clients especially well starting with an initial tasting on the house where you basically can order anything on the menu to try. We worked with Sherri Levin and she was extremely responsive and took care of our food and rental coordination needs. She made sure everything went so smoothly on our wedding and I was so pleased with the food, service, and overall ease with working Linwoods. A++++++++

We got married on 10/26 and the Maryvale Castle and we happened to schedule our viewing of the venue with Linwoods. That was the day that I met Sherri, who was preparing for a wedding while showing us the castle. First of all, I fell in love with her personality! As she was walking and talking, she saw EVERYTHING her team was doing so she was directing them at the same time! Multitasking at its best! I loved that she was quick, paid attention to detail, and extremely accommodating and honest! She never said NO to ANYTHING! I had some pretty high demands crazy ideas, and she exceeded ALL of our expectations. She met with us, and we tried the food twice before the actual wedding.Our family came to the tasting and they were left speechless! LOVED everything and honestly it was hard to pick things for the actual wedding because everything was delicious! The food is to DIE FOR!! MY GOSH, the steak (we had steak for everyone) just melted in your mouth! The cakes...yum! the hors d'oeuvres were exquisite too! ZERO complaints for anyone! we had a few vegetarians and they were well accommodated too! The drinks were amazing! we had an open bar and people loved everything. Sherri also let us have a signature drink we requested, "the princess"- a pink margarita with sugar rims. SUPER delicious and pink to match the colors of the wedding! Sherri truly and honestly made our wedding possible. We didn't have a wedding planner, but I don't think ANY wedding planner would do half as much as Sherri did. I made my own decorations, table settings, and everything else and Sherri placed and organized EVERYTHING perfectly! Our friends and fam were there to help but Sherri and her team didn't allow anyone to lift a finger! They did EVERYTHING! We are SO thankful that we toured that castle with Sherri because honestly she was our wedding angel! without her, we couldn't have done it! She made our wedding day perfect!

PERFECT! Linwoods Catering is phenomenal. Tali is very talented and organized as a banquet director. She made sure that every detail was perfect. Dinner service was fast, the food was delicious, the bartenders were efficient, the cake was incredible. I cannot say enough good things about this experience. Of all the decisions that had to be made in planning our daughter's wedding, the BEST decision was using Linwood's. Tali was amazingly responsive from the first email, to the first visit at Linwood's, to the tasting, to many more emails, to selecting linens, and to the reception. She orchestrated everything at the reception. I didn't have to do anything, but enjoy myself. The food was delicious and the service was impeccable. During the many months of wedding planning, so many vendors (non-catering, of course) told me that you have nothing to worry about when Tali coordinates the event. Soooo true. Thank you, Tali! MOB

Linwoods provided the most amazing food for our cocktail hour, butlered hors dourves, AND a sit down dinner for over 200 people and amazing desserts and wedding cake. Every guest commented on the quality of the food and service throughout the night.
Tali was wonderful to work with and made us feel so comfortable throughout the entire planning process and even when a few unexpected things occurred along the way, Tali just took care of the problem.
The most amazing thing is their prices are equal to or lower than most ordinary caterer's prices. If you want extraordinary quality for your special event, we highly recommend Linwoods. Wonderful food, wonderful people equals Wonderful Wedding.

One of the best decisions we made. The food is FANTASTIC. Our wedding guests were very impressed with our food selections and were saying how it was one of the best meals they had (not just a good wedding meal). Ellen and Tali are great and really know the catering business. Linwood's is so professional and treats your guests like they are dining at their restaurant. Linwoods was great! The food was delicious and Sherri was a pleasure to work with. She was very patient and accessible and not only helped us plan our menu, but assisted us with picking out and ordering our linens as well. Sherri really went above and beyond and not only offered to give us queues of when to walk down the aisle, but she even helped our four year old flower girl get down the aisle when she was too afraid to walk by herself (Sherri actually ran along side of her to give her confidence, which is not something many catering managers would do). The food was phenomenal but the assurance and assistance Sherri provided was priceless.

I cannot say enough about Linwood's. We worked with Talia, and from the very beginning we were sure that everything would be spectacular! And they still exceeded our expectations, because in addition to the amazing food, (which we were told by many of our guests that it was the BEST food they had EVER had at a wedding), the entire staff was not only professional and attentive, but SO friendly and personable. This was something the guests also commented on. Talia was so very helpful during the planning stage; very informative and also very flexible, (alot of fun too!) but in the end runs a very tight ship! My feeling is that whatever glitch might occur behind the scenes....you would never know about it because Talia would take care of EVERYTHING! We could not have been happier with our choice to have Linwood's cater our daughter's wedding, and would highly recommend them!!!!

Absolutely, positively the BEST food and service that we found!!! If you really care about the food at your wedding and do not want typical tasteless "wedding food" then you must go with Linwoods. We went to the restaurant for an official tasting after tasting their food at an open house. We knew right away that they were for us. Linwoods made the process exceptionally easy and even stepped up to the plate and answered emails that our venue should have been answering. Sherri was fantastic and took care of the list of rentals from two different companies because our venue was a blank canvas and a DIY type of place. The service at the wedding was fantastic and people are still talking about the food one month later!!! Oh, and we even ordered our cake from them which was also fantastic!! We actually plan to eat there for our anniversaries and plan to order a fresh cake each year to celebrate!

We had the best food and the best service from Linwoods. We met with Tali and then Jeff worked our wedding. They were both professional, warm, and very very serious about giving us the best possible experience. The food was out of this world, all our guests, even the ones with severe food restrictions (vegan, gluten free) said that the staff worked very carefully to serve food that they could eat. No, they are not the cheapest establishment out there, but you get what you pay for. Not once was I worried that a problem would arise that I would have to worry about. Go with Linwoods, and even if you don't hire them, at least have dinner at the restaurant - you won't regret it.

Linwoods was fantastic from the start! Sherri was so responsive and helpful throughout the entire planning process and especially the night of, taking care of anything that needed attention. My guests could not stop telling me how fantastic the food was. The cake was also one of the best wedding cakes I have ever eaten - and it was beautiful! We had our wedding reception in the 1840s City Lites room, and they set up a super fun ice cream/milkshake bar in the White Tower diner replica; another thing guests raved about. The service was also exemplary! They were fantastic!

Tali Adelstein from Linwoods is a MUST for any wedding. Tali has been in this business for over 20 years and it shows -- she comes prepared with Plan A, B, and C (and beyond) resulting in food, drink and catering services that are of the highest caliber and level of professionalism. Nothing goes wrong on Tali's watch. She is so much more than just a caterer -- she becomes an invaluable and dedicated partner during the whole process of planning your event. Working with Tali was one of the essential assurances we had that the planning process would be a positive experience and would culminate into the wonderful event we had. If you hire Tali (and you absolutely should!), don't bother with a wedding planner. Tali covers all those roles and more.

I love Linwoods. The quality of food combined with the customer service is worth it. I customized our menu to reflect my and my groom's cultures and Linwoods stepped up to the challenge. We used our tasting to really hone in on what we were looking for and Linwoods created new recipes to met my expectations. I worked with Sherri Levin, who immediately put us at ease and delivered on all promises. I heard from several guests that we had the best wedding food. You guests will also not go hungry... the cocktail hour hors d'oeuvres were constant and endless. The quality of ingredients and freshness of the food was amazing. While Linwoods might be slightly more expensive than other caterers, they present the most value. Many caterers limit the amount of food guests can have. Glasses remained full and no one left our wedding hungry.

Hi Tali,
Just wanted to take a brief moment to thank you so much for all your hard work last weekend. It did not go unnoticed because so many people came up to me at the wedding and asked who you were because you were so efficient in making everything happen. Linwoods is so very lucky to have you as their Catering Director.

We are still hearing about how good the meal was from our wedding. Eating very little during the wedding I was very upset but the food was even still amazing at 3 am after the party when we sat down and actually ate. I can't say enough about how wonderful the folks at Linwoods were. We had a lot of special requests and they were so helpful and flexible. The groom is from Austria and wanted to serve wine from the family vinyard in Austria and to have a specially constructed wedding cake (an Imperial Torte) imported from Austria. Linwoods worked with us to make these complicated plans work. The venue looked beautiful, the staff was very helpful and the food was superb- absolutely delicious and beautifully presented. Linwoods made our dreams come true. Our very international and cosmopolitan guests were very impressed, favorably comparing it to best service in various European capitals.

Linwoods was above and beyond amazing! Sherri was so helpful during the entire planning experience, she offered great suggestions and really helped us to make our wedding unique to us.

The food was INCREDIBLE. All of our guests were and still are talking about it. We had 2 tastings and everything was so delicious it was hard to choose.

Their service is the best out there. Sherri gave us a call the day before the wedding to check in and see if there was anything we needed her to do. She and Jan came to our rehearsal and ran the whole thing efficiently to the point where we were all comfortable. On the day of, everything ran flawlessly. We were on time the entire night, the food came out hot and delicious, my husband and I had a person checking in to see if we needed anything, and there were enough staff to really take care of and pamper our guests.

Linwoods is definitely worth the money because they leave you with no doubts and they exceed every expectation.

We absolutely loved Linwoods! We worked with Linda Brown who was recommended by our planner. She was wonderful, and worked with us to make the menu perfect, and a total reflection of our favorite foods and our personalities. The food is absolutely wonderful and the service is flawless as well. I felt so confident in them from the beginning that I had no worries at all. I knew our guests would be served a delicious meal by friendly and competent servers and they delivered perfectly! Loved them and couldn't imagine using anyone else! Did I mention perfect?

Sherri and the Linwoods staff are amazing to work with. Sherri was there to help us out when our original caterer went out of business and took our money with them. She was so easy to work with and took care of everything the day of my wedding. I didn't have to worry about a thing.
Not to mention the food was delicious. All of our guests commented on how great the food was. Better than any wedding food I've ever had!!

Linwoods was fabulous! I would most certainly recommend their services. Sherri Levin was so responsive and has a great eye for detail. We came to Linwoods after our first Caterer, Mt. Vernon Catering went bankrupt with our $5,000 deposit. Linwoods saved the day and helped turn our bad sitiuation into a positive experience. They even honored the rate which Mt. Vernon qouted us, and Linwoods was a far superior caterer. Loved them!

All I can say is WOW!!! Guests are still raving about the hors d'oeuvres and the great service Sherri and the rest of the staff at Linwood's provided.

It was truly a pleasure working with Linwood's. Their staff is friendly, efficient, and are on top of everything. Not one hicup before, during or even after our wedding. Sherri is extremely patient, sweet and just loves what she does. I kind of wish I was still planning my wedding just so that I could continue working with her. Should you decide to go with Linwood's, ask for Sherri, she will put your mind at ease....I promise!

One word - phenomenal! If food matters at all to you, Linwoods will deliver. The food is amazing, the service is gracious and Sherri Levin - our coordinator - is a godsend. Sherri always anticipated what needed to be done and was a great resource in recommending a florist and a DJ as well. Every one of my guests commented on how great the food was and how helpful and pleasant the wait staff was. Thinking it would be easier, I asked Linwoods to make my wedding cake as well. It was a great decision - I think it was the best dessert I've ever had...I can't say enough about Linwoods, Sherri and the rest of the staff. They may be slightly more expensive than others, but well worth the extra cost.

I really cannot say enough positive things about Sherri and the Linwoods staff. Our day was perfect - something that Sherri and team personally saw to in every area. I attribute much of how smoothly the day went to them. In addition to enjoying their wonderful food,which my guests complimented emphatically, it was a pleasure working with a team that was a professional, responsive and organized as Linwoods. I wholeheartedly recommend them for others' events.

If food is important to you like it was to me, you cannot go wrong with Linwoods. Tali, the director I worked with knows her stuff and the site inside and out. Take all of her advice. We had 2 stationary hors dourves, 6 passed, a first course with a 1/2 serving of soup served in tiny pumpkins and a half salad, and a choice of entre, chicken or beef. Everyone commented how amazing the food and its presentation were. My husband and I had a dedicated wait staff to ensure we ate, and they even brought us hors douvres and drinks to where we were having pictures done so we could enjoy them. When we got back to our room that night, there was leftovers from the reception in the mini-fridge! Tali also coordinated all my linen, chair and table rentals and helped me lay out the room.

Linwoods is absolutely fabulous - their service is impeccable, their quality of food was absolutely wonderful, and they were such a pleasure to work with. We worked with Sherri Levin, and she is really down to earth and great. She understands your needs, is very professional, and a straight talker. She understood my budget, my desire for quality, appreciated my ideas, and was able to balance all of it. She knows what she is doing and worked hard to execute a wonderfully catered event. They catered falafels for us for our Sangeet with various accompaniying side items, the guests absolutely loved the food. She was also great about working with our Indian caterer. She is a pro, and I am so glad we worked with Linwoods.

I would definitely recommend them to friends and family!
