Lindsay is the best photographer ever
Hiring Lindsay to shoot our wedding day was easily the best decision we made in the entire destination wedding process. Not only is she just a cool person to hang out, but she is immensely talented and her pictures come out truly stunning. She's a true professional, but also blended right into the crowd like she was one of the guests. She was very friendly with everyone, and even gave people recommendations of places to go and things to do on the islands. We really cannot say enough about how happy we were with choosing her for our wedding pictures. -

Working with Lindsay was the single best decision we made. We had a long engagement and Lindsay was always checking in with us to see how planning was going and offering us tips and tricks along the way. She always responded quickly and answered all questions.
We did both the pre-wedding session and 8 hours of coverage on the actual wedding day (wish we did longer). We were so nervous, we aren't very comfortable in front of the camera, nor have we ever had professional photos taken. GUYS. Can I tell you? She can turn lemons into lemonade. She makes you feel like you just became best friends, is completely your fangirl and made it FUN! We were laughing and kissing and playing, it was such a relief to just be ourselves and not feel posed.
She captured everything and more. Every smile, smirk, hug, stolen kiss, tear, laugh, she got it all. She tells the story of your biggest day in such a beautiful way. She is a true artist and professional.
So, I urge you - LOOK NO FURTHER. Book with Lindsay, and bonus, you get a friend out of it! -

The best photographer
OK how can I even start about Lindsay. Her photos drew me St. John and I instantly fell in love without seeing the island. Her photos are that amazing!! I knew instantly I wanted her to do all of my photos. I reached out to her about two years before my actual wedding date just to make sure I got her. While doing that I caught her in St. John to do my engagement shoot. We instantly had so much fun after it rained all day and almost got cancelled.
My husband is generally super awkward in photos but Lindsay made it so fun and natural! My husband instantly loved her as well. Fast forward to our wedding day EVERYONE loved her and Max they are so down to earth, ready to have fun, and so outgoing. She wasn't just our photographer that night but our friend as well. We could not ask for a better photographer or a better person. SHE IS AN AMAZING all around good person and photographer. If you haven't already booked her you are seriously missing out!!!! Thank you so much Lindsay for cature our special day! -

There are really no words for Lindsay’s photos. She was my one non-negotiable when planning our wedding, and she did not disappoint. We did an ‘engagement’ shoot in an effort to get to know her and get used to being photographed but I felt like I knew her just through email. She was genuinely invested in our story, our relationship, our wedding, and even our lives after the wedding. It was so great getting to know her and Max and we will cherish our wedding photos forever! -

I can't express enough just how grateful we are to have had such an incredibly talented and fun loving photographer with us! Lindsay didn't just capture our memories, she helped make them! Both my husband and I are slightly camera shy, but Lindsay’s style of shooting made us feel comfortable and relaxed, like we were just hanging out with good friends. She had us smiling and laughing all day, and we could’t have wished for anything better! I am so thankful that we had Lindsay join us on our wedding day, and for making me laugh so hard my cheeks hurt!
Besides being overall awesome, Lindsay’s work is also incredible! I think it’s safe to say that the images speak for themselves. From day one, Lindsay was professional and a great communicator with incredible insight about St John. She clearly answered any questions we had and helped us pick the best locations to shoot our pictures.
If you’re looking for a fun and adventurous wedding photographer, I highly recommend Lindsay Vann! -

My husband and I have not stopped staring at our pictures since we got them. Lindsay made our experience so unforgettable and is literally the nicest person I have ever met in my life. You are doing yourself a disservice if you choose to have a destination wedding and don't use Lindsay Vann Photography! -

Photography is her passion and she helps you create such a beautiful story. Whether it’s your wedding day or a typical shoot she goes out of her way to know each client and have a connection with them. She loves what she does and that is reflected in every moment spent with her and her photographs. Everyone we know raves about our wedding photos and immediately asks who our photographer was. We were so lucky to have Lindsay on our big day and will always be grateful for her and her work!

User1472575 Sent on 12/14/2013Aside from being wonderfully pleased with Lindsay's product and professionalism, what really made her the best choice is how relaxed the shoot was. My husband is super shy and hates being the center of attention (basically the antithesis of a wedding) but she made it very fun, easy going and totally managed to bring out his inner GQ model like I have never seen before! The result was stunning pictures that really captured the love between us and the beauty of the day overall. I highly recommend Lindsay and will definitely use her services again, but particularly if you have a shy guy in your life, she's your lady! -

Ali Sent on 05/05/2016I have no words that could accurately describe working with Lindsay. She walks in the room and becomes your instant best friend. She is easy to talk to, laugh with and quickly makes you feel comfortable in front of the lens.
We took our engagement photos with Lindsay and had the time of our lives laughing with her. The photos came out amazing and we couldn’t wait to work with her again.
When it came time for our wedding, Lindsay and Sarah were fantastic. They worked as a duo to photograph my husband and I getting ready separately and orchestrated our first look photos at our villa. When it came time for the ceremony and reception, they were able to blend in while capturing priceless moments. They always had a smile on and obviously love what they do each day.
Lindsay posted our teaser photo shortly after the wedding and it took our breath away. Incredible. We’d hire Lindsay Vann Photography again in a heartbeat and look forward to taking more photos with her in the future! -
User2470536 Sent on 12/16/2015Lindsay did a great job. The pictures are absolutely beautiful and she (plus her 2nd photographer) did amazingly with both our portraits and candid reception pictures. Really, the photos and editing are so stunning. The process of booking was super easy and Lindsay is responsive and friendly. She did a good job of communicating throughout the process and asking us about our story and what we wanted to make sure we captured on our big day. The only downside was a slight delay in getting the pictures back (it took about 10 weeks post-wedding), but Lindsay was proactive about letting us know and accommodating with our requests for advanced sneaks peeks. Honestly, the pictures were so beautiful that it makes up for the delay. -

Ali Sent on 09/18/2015Besides marrying my now husband, I was most excited for our wedding photography, and Lindsay did not disappoint! When I stumbled across her website on WeddingWire, I instantly loved her photography style and knew I had found the right person.
After initially emailing her to find out her availability (which luckily was still open for our wedding date!), Lindsay took the time to get to know me and my fiance. Through our back and forth emails, we discovered some crazy, coincidental similarities between the two of us (like both being from VT!) that made me even more excited to meet her and have her as our photographer!
Between the time that I initially emailed Lindsay and the wedding day, I literally showed everyone in my family and all of our friends her website. To say I was mildly obsessed with her work was an understatement, as embarrassing as that is! I had some hopes and ideas of what my wedding photos would be like, and Lindsay exceeded every expectation that I had! Not only were the photos beyond amazing, but working with her on the day of the wedding was so awesome, and so easy. My husband and I are both super awkward in front of a camera, and Lindsay managed to make both of us feel comfortable, and to look more natural than we have ever looked in photos.
Our wedding day was the most special and memorable day of my life, and Lindsay was a big part of that. Not only do I have these amazing photos to look back on, but she and her second shooter, Sarah, made the day go by seamlessly, and it was so great having Lindsay's super fun and happy self be a part of the day!
I would recommend Lindsay to any, and everyone! I could not be more thankful that I got the chance to work with her for such a special occasion, and I am already looking for reasons to work with her again!

Rachel Sent on 08/13/2015When I started looking for a photographer, I considered bringing someone in from the states…until I found Lindsay Vann Photography. Her portfolio stood out immediately and after talking to her via email, I knew we had to book her. She’s got a creative edge and an eye for the perfect composition and lighting…and as I learned quickly, she’ll do anything to get the perfect shot (including scaling a rock cliff). With her creative eye we got some jaw dropping photos in the most unexpected places. She captured each moment in the most amazing way…the big ones that people remembered and the little ones that no one ever saw. And if that weren’t enough, there’s the fact that she has the most amazingly fun (but professional) personality. The more you talk to her, the more you want to know her. She’s energetic and charismatic and her vocabulary consists of words like “sassy” and “dreamy” which just made me want to be her friend and get to know her! She’s quick to respond and was always there when I needed to ask her a question or run something by her. She made me feel like we were her only client and she was so full of excitement about capturing our day. I wish I could put her in my pocket and take her everywhere with me! St.Thomas is home to me and you can bet that Lindsay will be our photographer for years to come!!
