Laura is incredible! I went to several bridal shops in NYC and couldn't find what I was looking for: a fit and flare, all-lace gown. I told Laura what I had in mind and she immediately sent me a photo of the Martina Liana lace dress of my dreams. I drove up to Saratoga the next week and bought it! It was absolutely perfect, exactly what i was looking for. She was so helpful with the measurements - my tailor only had to hem it and the rest was perfect. Lily Saratoga is such a beautiful shop, and the staff are so warm, inviting and supportive. I'd absolutely recommend them to any bride looking for her dream dress!Lily Saratoga's reply:

Lily Saratoga was amazing to work with. They have such a beautiful selection of dresses - and sizes! - and really made the entire experience so smooth and enjoyable. I suffer from severe body dysmorphia, and the stylist I worked with was so kind and understanding, not once did I feel anything other than beautiful. I was so nervous for dress shopping, but Lily made it such a memorable and fun day for me and my girls. I found Lily because I was looking for vendors that carried Made With Love. My family also LOVES going to Saratoga in the summer. So it was a win win. I was having no luck finding a gown I loved. I went for my appointment at Lily and worked with Christina. She was amazing. I ended up trying on my actual gown that day but she told me not to jump on it. Think about it and then go back for a follow up appointment. My pick at that moment ended up getting pushed aside for another gown I had tried on that day. I went back through photos we took and it was obvious which gown was IT. I went back for my follow up with my mom and MOH and tried on EVERY Made with Love gown they had. Again. I tried on my eventual gown last and it was like a sigh of relief. Laura, the owner, was working with us that day and she said I just seemed to RELAX. I HIGHLY recommend making the trip to Lily. Every single person we worked with from trying on to picking up my dress and shoes...so patient and kind and just genuinely EXCITED for me. I wish I could do it again just because the process was so memorable and everything it should be when picking out your wedding gown. Alyssa helped me find the perfect shoes when my dress came in. The Best in the Business!
Lily's was my first and only stop for finding my dream dress. I had somewhat of an idea of what I wanted going into my appointment, but they allowed me to try several different styles to ensure I wasn't missing out on anything. There is absolutely zero pressure from them during the whole process and they truly made me feel relaxed and at ease to enjoy this big moment and select the most perfect dress for my day!!Lily Saratoga's reply:

Lily’s helped me achieve my wedding vision! I went to 2 other stores before I made my appointment and I’m so happy I did! The team helped me find my dress. They were so patient and never made me feel rushed. I cannot recommend them enough. I am considered plus size so it was intimidating not knowing what they’d have, but Essense of Australia ended up being the best designer for me personally and my budget and dress came quick!!

Perfect Bridal Experience
The entire Lily Saratoga team is full of incredibly kind, knowledgeable and sincere women. You walk into the store and can instantly feel the love from these ladies!
As a plus size bride I came in so nervous about the gown shopping process, but my consultant heard my concerns and made sure I was comfortable through the entire process. We stuck with gowns that were all my size and above and I had so many options!! In the end, my consultant helped me find a gorgeous custom gown and over skirt that made me feel incredible on my wedding day.Lily Saratoga's reply:

Go to Lilys for all your wedding dress needs!
If you’re looking for your wedding dress skip anywhere else and go straight to Lilys! I had gone to a few other shops before Lilys and just didn’t have a great experience, didn’t like the dresses, and the consultants weren’t very helpful. So I finally went to Lilys and WOW what a treat! For pretty much all of my appointments I got to work with Sarah - she is the sweetest, so out going, and expert in all things wedding! She was my own personal hype man and did a great job managing all the “guests” you bring when you’re trying on dresses. She’s 100% team bride whatever I wanted went. I went in not having any clue what I did and didn’t like - just with a few questions she nailed it! Another thing I really appreciated was her respecting my budget - she didn’t have me try on a single dress outside of my budget without asking me if the higher price was okay or not. No other place did that and I thought it was so nice! Once I said “yes to the dress” the Lilys team was so helpful! Once my dress came in I came in to just try it on I was so excited, again I got to work with Sarah and she happily took some pictures of me, got some veils for me to try on and some other accessories and noted it alll in my file! A couple months later they let me come back in for an accessory appointment were I was able to try on and buy all my jewlery, shoes and veil with my dress! When it came to my hair trial Lilys even gave me a loner veil to bring to my trial so I didn’t ruin mine and could still see how it would look! Then, when I went for alterations next door the shoes I had bought were a bit too tall for my dress and when Megan told Lilys, Lilys reached out to me and offered me the opportunity to return the shoes! It was so kind and unnecessary but I appreciated it so much! When it comes to wedding planning any $$ you can save helps! Overall I had an amazing experience at Lilys - the whole team was so helpful, easy to work with, and made it such a luxury experience!Lily Saratoga's reply:

The ladies at Lily were amazing! I felt comfortable from the moment I walked in the door! Sarah asked me what I was looking for and she nailed it! I originally came in looking for a specific dress I tried on prior. I thought I wanted an A-line dress but Sarah suggested I tried a different silhouette to make sure it was what I truly wanted (since I was on the fence). I am so happy she did! I found the perfect dress that my husband LOVED! I would 1000% recommend brides go to Lily! -

I cannot say enough about Lily Saratoga as a plus size bride. I am a size 28 and I was able to try on every type of dress I could ever imagine, which is something I thought would not be possible. Not only could I try on so many dresses, but I was made to feel the EXACT SAME as average size brides. I felt beautiful, cared for, and catered to. I found my dream dress on my first appointment. Since they new I liked a certain designer, this team had such great attention to detail they called to reschedule my appointment during a trunk show for this designer so not only did I get my dream dress, I got it during that designer's trunk show! Thank you Lily! I highly recommend Lily Saratoga to brides of every size. -

My experience with Lily Saratoga was probably slightly different than most. I booked my appointment, with ease, and when I arrived I knew the exact dress that I wanted to try on (brand and style). Alyssa pulled the dress for me and attentively helped me with putting it on. The try-on dress wasn't my size and Alyssa could tell I was having difficulty saying "yes to the dress" and envisioning how it would look when it actually fit correctly. Alyssa quickly pulled some additional dresses that were very similar in style to the dress I chose that were in my size so I could get a better perception of what my dream dress would look like in the right size. Her quick thinking really made a difference and gave me the confidence to say "Yes" to my dream dress. Alyssa took my measurements and made suggestions on size based on the measurements and when the dress came in, it fit perfectly. Alyssa also helped me pick out the perfect veil, offering different styles and variations for me to try on. I highly recommend Lily Saratoga when searching for your Wedding dress and accessories, they are outstanding and it's always nice to be able to support local!Lily Saratoga's reply:

I went in to Lily Saratoga with a vision, and the first dress picked out for me ended up being “the one!” Of course, the ladies here were more than happy to find more dresses for me to try on that fit my wants, but all in all, I continued to go back to dress #1. Did I also mention this was my first day dress shopping?! Lily Saratoga is a one-stop shop. They are sure to have something here for you! And when I went to pick up my dress the week of the wedding, there was a handwritten note attached to the dress bag expressing their excitement for me. Finding a dress can be super challenging. I had tried on about 15+ dresses before coming to this boutique to try on dresses. Staff there made the process simple and painless. Let me bring guests and gave opinions when asked. I ended up sizing down compared to what I tried on in the store, which made me nervous but by the time of the fitting process, things worked out perfectly especially with the boning/structure of the dress. When it came time to pick up my stemmed and stuffed dress, the process was simple and they made me feel so special with a personalized note in the front of my dress, a hanger with a beautiful blue bow on it. I had such a wonderful experience with Lily’s bridal, from the minute I made the first appointment to picking my dress up for my wedding day! Every consultant is so helpful and knowledgeable! They helped me find the dress of my dreams and I couldn’t have felt more beautiful in my wedding gown! The recommendations they provided for the seamstress was helpful and they go above and beyond coordinating with the seamstress to deliver/pick up the dress. I also really and appreciative of the other services provided (obviously another cost) but it is very stress-relieving as a bride to not have something else to research and coordinate!Lily Saratoga's reply:

Walking into Lily Saratoga is walking into a fairytale. Surrounded by Laura and the Lily lady fairy godmothers and their magic in making each bride feel beautiful, respected, and appreciated. I purchased the most extraordinary Martina Liana ivory lace gown for our 2020 wedding that had to be rescheduled several times because of COVID. Laura and the ladies kept in touch the whole time and each time I would get a message or call from them I felt the exuberance or my upcoming wedding all over again. When I was feeling particularly blue because of the postponements, I visited Laura just to be treated like a princess for a day and walked out with a spectacular custom Essence of Australia ballgown! I was hesitant about two dresses but Laura so graciously reassured me that the Martina gown with its beautiful train would be perfect for our ceremony and the Essence gown was made for an old world ballroom. And after four postponements, why not treat myself! That’s the support and empowerment Lily Saratoga provides to all women. There is no need for any other shop - every accessory came from Lily including my veil, Badgley Mischka shoes, jewelery, and even my mom’s jewelry - all exquisitely hand-picked by Laura to match perfectly. She even helped with the groomsmen’s tuxes in ensuring everything would be perfectly coordinated Laura helped me pick out seven gorgeous Sorella Vita bridesmaid dresses to fit each style and personality of my bridesmaids and could not be more accommodating with every request and every need. I also had the great pleasure of Laura attending our wedding and personally driving down my gowns and veil and putting me in both dresses on my wedding day. Exactly as it should have been. I can’t recommend Lily Saratoga and Styled by Lily Saratoga enough. Laura’s whole heart and soul is in this beautiful woman-owned business, which is clear from the moment you walk through the door. While I did not get my wedding dress from Lily Saratoga, I used their fantastic wedding dress steaming service. Everyone I worked with up to my wedding day was so communicative and accommodating. The service was top quality and so convenient. Rather than try to find a garment steamer and try to steam my delicate dress myself, Lily Saratoga traveled to where I was getting ready and made my dress look perfect for my special day. I loved the Martina Liana dresses and knew I wanted to try on those, but living in NYC, didn’t want the big experience like at Kleinfeld’s, and something more intimate. Having my wedding in Saratoga just made sense to get my dress there too. It was a wonderful experience for my mother and I. The Lily girls s had so much patience, as I had no idea what style of dress I wanted. I even went back twice and tried other shops, but knew I would find “the one” at Lily. I said yes to the dress here and from there continued to have a great experience. They helped me with recommendations of alterations, preservations, and I also purchased my veil through Lily. I picked up my dress the week of my wedding with it perfectly steamed. Now I only wish I had another reason to come buy a wedding dress again from them!Lily Saratoga's reply:

I knew Lily Saratoga was going to be on my list of places to look for wedding dresses, I know so many people who had gone there, and I loved the essence of Australia dresses. When I went in for my appointment and later on my first fitting everyone was so kind and welcoming. I was against having a strapless dress, but Laura brought one back for me to try on anyways, “just to see.” Before I even left the fitting room I knew I had found my dress. I felt like a bride in it. And on my wedding day I felt absolutely beautiful. I went back with my bridesmaids as well to get their dresses. And when I added another bridesmaid to my bridal party only a few months before the wedding they were able to get her right in for a fitting and got the dress in on time. Amazing shop!
From my first appointment I knew I would be a Lily bride. I was nervous to shop for my gown during a pandemic, but the shop took COVID protocol seriously and made me and my family feel at ease. I worked with the owner, Laura, to find my gown during a trunk show weekend. Laura listened to what I was looking for and pulled some amazing options to try on. Every dress was stunning, but when I found “the one” we all knew. From that decision the rest of the experience was seamless. The Lily Ladies are so kind and accommodating, all very knowledgeable and helpful. I never felt like “just another bride”, Lily Saratoga has truly cultivated a remarkably special experience for the bride and her friends and family. I can not thank them enough! All of the girls at Lily's are amazing and were so helpful in finding the perfect dress for my wedding! The boutique itself is so bright and beautiful. From the moment you walk in you're greeted with kindness and a sense of belonging. The little bottle of champagne after purchasing your dress is a nice touch, too!
About a week before my wedding, I had realized that I had lost weight and was nervous my dress would no longer fit. Laura was able to squeeze me in last minute and was so incredibly helpful with determining that my dress needed to be taken in. She reached out to Megan from WillFitUin (which is the seamstress that I was using, next door to Lily's) to inform her of the situation, and I am so grateful for that!Lily Saratoga's reply:

Where do I even begin? Lily Saratoga has been an absolute dream to work with. The store has such a variety of GORGEOUS, elegant and timeless wedding gowns. I have never seen such an amazing selection of gowns. After what seemed like an endless search for my dream wedding dress and going to multiple other wedding dress boutiques, Laura helped me decide on a gorgeous Martina Liana ballgown. We had multiple appointments at Lily Saratoga and each time she was patient, calm and very helpful. I felt like I was the only bride in the store and never felt rushed! She was able to help me customize a Martina gown and create it into a ballgown of my dreams. We corresponded back and forth about the details until it was perfect. I also had a second Martina Liana reception gown that I purchased off the rack from their store. Once the dress came in, we had to postpone our wedding and she was able to store my dresses for the extra year. She allowed my mom and I to come into the store multiple times and try my dress on to help me decide on bridal accessories and a veil. We purchased the veil at Lily as well! The two gowns were perfectly packed, steamed and ready to be worn a few days before my big day. My bridesmaids also got their dresses from her Jenny Yoo and Amsale line. I always knew I wanted to look for my dress at Lily and had high hopes of finding it there. Every girl dreams of the day they get to try on wedding dresses, and they made it a dream come true experience. The store is adorable in itself, but the dresses are absolutely STUNNING! They listened to me when I told them what I was looking for, but were also patient with me when I wanted to try on different styles. Every single dress I tried on was beautiful, but when I tried on “the one” I knew right away (it was actually the first one that she picked for me). I went to a few local shops before going into Lily and it was a completely different experience for me. I never felt pressured, rushed or stressed during my appointment. I worked with Laura and she was so knowledgeable and made me feel so at ease. She ultimately picked out my dress based on things I liked and didn’t like and it was one that I never would have picked for myself but I knew right away it was the one. I purchased my dress and overskirt both from Lily. They were great at communicating timelines and notifying me when the dress was in. When COVID hit I was able to bring the dress back to them to store until my July 2021 wedding. They steamed and prepped it before the wedding and everything was perfect! I had an absolutely wonderful experience at Lily Saratoga. All of the staff are welcoming, knowledgeable and are truly invested in helping you. This was the first bridal shop I visited and I left with my dream dress. The store has lots of different styles, brands and price ranges of dresses to choose from. They also have a great sanitation system during the pandemic, which made me feel safe trying on dresses. I purchased my dress about a year prior to my wedding. The staff is so friendly and the environment was both clean and welcoming. Tyranny helped me find my dress and she was an absolute gem to work with. She provided me options to try based on the questionnaire we reviewed when I got there, and she also let my two bridesmaids pick an option for me to try to. She made it a fun experiencing and helped me find *the one* so I’m forever grateful! Lily was super helpful with arranging pick- up of dress and coordinated transport with my seamstress when I needed alterations. Definitely recommend going here for your bridal needs! -

I absolutely LOVED my experience at Lily Saratoga! I tried on over 50 gowns at 6 other boutiques and I was extremely overwhelmed and discouraged as I was not falling in love with any of the dresses that I tired on. I was over the process and about to settle for another dress when my Mom secretly made an appointment for me at Lily (thank God for a mother intuition). As soon as we arrived we met with my amazing consultant Tierney. I explained my situation and I immediately felt so refreshed! She was understanding yet super positive and energetic. Before I tried on any dresses I knew I was going to have a great experience. After talking about my venue and what I was looking for, I pulled dresses that I thought I would like. Lily has such a wide variety of styles which a lot of other shops did not offer. Tierney pulled a dress that she thought matched my vision and it was PERFECT! I really felt like she listened to me and found something that was everything I wanted. Not only was my dress perfect but the size that she recommended fit me like a glove! I second guessed the size before ordering and Tierney reassured me that the size would be correct, the morale of the story is to trust these ladies, they are professionals!! My dress arrived in about 2 months thanks to the Essence Portal and they coordinated transporting my dress to my seamstress, storing my dress until the big day, and prepping/stuffing my dress for transport to our wedding location. The whole process was seamless and so easy. I received so many compliments about my dress and I felt amazing! I am so thankful that I am a Lily Bride and I highly recommend Lily Saratoga to all future brides! -

Every bride should be this happy on their wedding day! Not just because you’re marrying your best friend, don’t get me wrong that’s a huge part of it, but you should also feel beautiful in the gown of your dreams and Lily Saratoga made that dream happen for me!
When I first saw this dress on the hanger I wanted nothing to do with it, I’m sure Tierney (to me, the best consult out there) remembers the grimace I gave her when she first showed it to me, so she put it back on the rack. I then proceeded to try on other dresses, that I picked out, and almost every one was a bust! But then again, my fairy godmother of a consult, whipped out this one again and just asked me to try it, though I was very apprehensive, I tried it on. While in the process of putting it on I was just not being sold on it. Why!? First because it was satin and I was totally against a satin gown, secondly it was the pleating, although it wasn’t bad, I just felt it wasn’t for me. The only thing going for it was the top as I like the straps and the beading.
Well I’m sure you, as brides to be, have heard, keep an open mind while shopping as you might end up with what you least expect and well that was me completely! The I looked in the mirror I was like WOW!!!! The pleating was beautiful and somehow elongated me... and as for the satin, well I’m sure you can agree it went perfectly with the background that Mother Nature kindly deposited 5 days prior! Also it wasn’t a shiny satin and it was so soft and kept me warm on that frigid cold day, who knew!? Haha
So again thank you Tierney for going above and beyond and knowing what dress makes the bride as you have proved it with me! Thank you Lily Saratoga for carrying Essence of Australia dresses and letting a plus-sized woman like myself, feel comfortable and confident not only on her wedding day, but through the whole appointment process.Lily Saratoga's reply:

Literally the best experience I have had during my wedding planning process. The salon understood my thoughts on my dress, understood what I was looking for, and even was able to help me take one of their dresses and really add my personal touch to it by adding sleeves and closing the neckline. I have been to a couple of salons where I felt overwhelmed by the employees, like I was being sold on something that I wasn't in love with. Instead at Lily's they started the appointment with "The dresses don't have feelings, and I don't have any stake in your dress purchase". I had the best experience with Lily Saratoga - they helped my find the most perfect dress for my wedding day, and really helped me look through all options to find "the one". Going in, I only had a vague idea of what I wanted, and the staff worked really diligently to get a wide array of styles to try on, including some choices from my bridesmaids and family that came with me. The shop was also really great at accommodating a good sized group - I had about 7 people who wanted to come with me, and I really appreciated that that was possible since it was such a once in a lifetime experience! When I thought I had the dress I wanted chosen, my attendant helped put on test veils and jewelry so I could get the "full effect" which really helped us all visualize a more "bridal" me! I actually ended up falling in love with the chosen accessories and added them to my look on the spot.
Long story short, to everyone at Lily - it is CLEAR that you have a passion for what you do. You create a memorable experience and make all the brides who come to you feel so special. I knew about Lily from some of my friends and when it was my turn to find a dress, I knew right where to go. I went to 5 places and Lily 3 times! I had such a wonderful time purchasing my dress here!
It was very pretty and had wonderful selection. There was another woman trying on her dress at the same time and we kept switching dresses together and comparing how they felt to remind the other while we were wearing it and they were in the current one. The ladies who worked there were shocked and having a blast! They kept giggling how things never went down like that. I just said "hey were not showing up to the same wedding in the same dress I am happy to help!" Her family was glad I did the dress she chose she didn't want to try on and take off the mannequin I had wanted to try it before knowing this only to see her family member jump in excitement when it was out. My mother maid of honor and one bridesmaid were having just as much fun with this whole process! The dress I ended up choosing was a Nicole Miller (as I change my name to Miller - fitting) It was very clean and classic but also so stunning. Loved everything about Lily's! I still remember my initial appointment with Kim. It was later in the evening so there wasn't many other brides or appointments so it felt like I had the place to my self. I was allowed to roam the store to look at different dresses and pull ones I liked. After trying about 8-10 on, the owner of the shop, Laura, came to check on us and saw the style I was leaning towards and ending up going out to pull a dress and it ended up being my dress! Being an out of state bride made all the entire process more difficult, because I had limited time to choose & make decisions, and couldn't "pop in" as easily as other brides during the process. Luckily, the ladies at Lily Saratoga made the entire process extremely easy from start to finish. They truly listened to me, and because of that were able to provide A TON of dress options that combined both my budget and style. Not once did I feel "pressured" into making a purchase. Even for my veil, which I couldn't pull the trigger on the day of because they had so many beautiful options, they took detailed notes about which ones I was interested in and allowed me to call and place the order over the phone once I felt confident about it. They were clear about timelines/deadlines upfront, and I always knew exactly what was happening, and when it was going to happen. I went everywhere....thought I wanted a high end designer dress, thought I wanted a pant suit for a hot second....thought I wanted all these different dresses then I went to Lily's Saratoga. The girls there will not push you into buying something you don't love... I really did admire and think one of the dresses I tried on might be the one, but I didn't have that "you are mine" moment, and the girls respected that I was going to keep looking. Well, the lovely, Tierny, was steaming a trunk show dress after I already changed into my normal clothes, and I think my mouth dropped. Is that modern lace with blush sheer fabric.... The dress wasn't for sale yet, but she let me try on the dress anyway (even if she just steamed it....lol) .....it was love. This was my dress. And from there on out, Tierny has been so helpful in making sure my sizing was perfect, which it was. And being accommodating in letting my crazy bridal party come in and have a fake "she said yes to the dress" moment...talk about patience. You won't find this type of service in a large, overwhelming, over priced bridal store. The best designers and bridal team are here in Saratoga Springs!Lily Saratoga's reply:

Lily Saratoga was an absolute dream to work with! Their store is beautiful with an incredible selection and the people are so friendly. My mom and I went to find my wedding dress during one of their Jenny Yoo trunk shows and the women who helped us was able to help me find the dress that had everything I was looking for even though I hadn't come in with a clear idea of what I was looking for. When it was time to get the bridesmaid dresses, they were flexible and understanding as most of my bridal party was out of town and could not make the appointment. We again went during a maids and mimosas event and were given helpful guidance as well as the perfect amount of freedom to browse. On the wedding day, they delivered and steamed my dress at the venue so when I got there it looked pristine. I absolutely loved my dress and I thought me and all my bridesmaids looked beautiful! They have a great selection of dresses in a variety of different styles. I visited a couple other boutiques and Lily was the only one where there were several dresses I liked. They were very respectful of my budget and gave me great choices in my price range ($1,500 - $2,000). They held the dress until two days before my wedding and steamed it so it looked absolutely perfect. The entire staff were just so wonderful and I can't say enough about them!
