Karen and the Lily Greenthumbs team were absolutely amazing. We could not sing their praises enough nor recommend them even higher to anyone that will listen. Any vision we had for our wedding day was not only met but exceeded. They are professional, passionate, creative, and have a true gift for ensuring your vision comes to life. The team created a flawless color scheme with a dazzling array of flowers and arrangements that set the most spectacular background to our event. However, the real main event was certainly the hanging floral and disco ball chandelier that showcased Karen’s creativity and ability to execute on any vision for your big day. Amazing to work with!
We used Lily Greenthumbs for our wedding and I was so impressed and happy with our flowers and decor! Karen sat down with me virtually to do a very thorough and in depth consultation at the start and helped me with creating and vocalizing my floral, centerpiece and ceremony vision. She then checked in regularly throughout the planning process to ensure everything was running smoothly and helped me feel at ease during my planning process. She is kind, thoughtful and creative and her floral design is impeccable! The team was punctual on the wedding day and truly did such a beautiful job! Karen and the LilyG team are the best of the best. I didn’t have much knowledge on florals, just had a few inspiration pictures to go off of and Karen took them and ran with it! She achieved the exact look we were going for and I was so happy with how everything turned out - the bouquets, centerpieces, chandelier greenery, and little floral touches everywhere else were so elegant and stunning. She worked with us to get the most bang from our buck and work within our budget by keeping the components that would achieve the biggest impact. Blown Away!
Working with Karen Greenoe on our wedding day was an absolute dream! Before booking Lily Greenthumb's for our wedding, we set up an initial consultation with Karen. She blew me away with how knowledgeable she was. Like many brides, I had a vague vision of what I wanted, but needed some help settling on a concrete plan. Karen suggested the most wonderful combinations and everything turned out absolutely beautifully! She showed up on our wedding day and came up to the bridal suite to say hi and show us the bouquets. She even brought me and my bridesmaids some water bottles with a Lily Greenthumb's koozie - so thoughtful of her! One of my main concerns was finding a bridal bouquet that paired well with my wedding dress, which had flowers on it. She created the perfect bouquet for me to carry - I teared up when she showed it to me! The florals she created for our ceremony space and reception were absolutely gorgeous. Perfect Florals for Everyone
My number one must have for my wedding was real flowers. My fiance wanted to make sure we found the best of the best and we did when we found Lily Greenthumbs. There is a reason they design the floral arrangements for the Carolina Panthers, but don't worry --- no matter how big or small your request is, you are treated like you are the Carolina Panthers when you are a client at Lily Greenthumbs. We absolutely loved our experience and felt it was top of the line customer service and product quality. The owner Karen delivered our bouquets herself and made sure everything for our ceremony and reception was set up and prepared ahead of schedule. Wonderful Florals and Design!
Karen and her team did an outstanding job with the flowers and décor at our wedding! The weather was a little iffy on the day of the wedding and they made all the right decisions to ensure the arrangements looked their absolute best for the ceremony and reception. Karen brought up my bouquet and the bridesmaid arrangements to the bridal suite and they were all so beautiful! She even made flower wands for the flower girls as a last-minute request and they looked amazing! The flowers and décor for the ceremony were incredible. When we did the room reveal at the reception, the entire room took our breath away. The floral arrangements combined with the candle light all looked incredible and we were speechless! Karen and her team were fabulous throughout the planning process and really did a fantastic job! Thank you all so much!

The best florist we could've asked for!
Karen was the absolute best to work with - she is cheerful, kind, and warm and completely knows her way around flowers. Because of Lily Greenthumb, florals was the least stressful part of wedding planning - I knew everything would be absolutely perfect in their hands.

Stunningly beautiful and so fun to work with!
Working with Karen with Lily Greenthumb’s was so much fun! She understood exactly what my husband and I were envisioning and what she delivered was much more perfect then we could have ever expected! On top of that, the team was SO wonderful setting up on the day of the wedding. We experienced heavy thunderstorms on our wedding day and had to move to our Plan B, which required a lot more work for the vendor team. Karen and team worked tirelessly to ensure our ceremony and reception were more than perfect. The Best of the BEST!
Lily Greenthumbs was truly amazing to work with. I had ideas of what I wanted - but Karen brought it all to life and made it better than I ever imagined. They worked with us on making sure we were getting the best 'bang for our buck' and truly were incredible to work with. They are so creative and very professional! She gave me the head table of my DREAMS! She was able to figure out how to have lush greenery hanging above us with lanterns! All of my guests were blown away and are STILL talking about it!!

Lily Greenthumb's was an excellent choice for my daughter's wedding. We worked with Christina Nail who was so insightful with ideas and guidance. Once we told her what we were thinking of she helped us execute and hit the target with excellence. When we look back at the pictures and see the flowers in the photos, they were absolutely gorgeous and they were worth every penny!! The flowers for outside ceremony were so big and colorful and made the greatest backdrop for the day! All the flowers were lovely and the colors and flower choice were so perfect!! Awesome!! Awesome!! We loved them and the guests commented on how great they looked inside at the reception and also at the outdoor ceremony. They were so pretty and lovely that I love to look back at the photos and not only do the smiling people standout but so do theses great wonderful flowers in each of the pictures. I first noticed Lily Greenthumbs as I passed their first location in Matthews 2-3 times a day driving my son to and from school 6 years. Every time I passed their tiny little shop I thought to myself that someday I would love to order flowers from them. Well that day was last Saturday when they decorated the church and reception venue for my daughters wedding. Karen was extremely patient as she educated us on flowers and what worked and what didn't work. She was also very accommodating with my daughters changing mind. Karen also listened to what my daughter wanted, nothing too fancy and nothing too basic. Needless to say Karen and her team completed the wedding day vision with stunning arrangements, bouquets, aisle markers and boutonnières made with brass bullet casings. Two moves later, the business has a new home for their talent and services. I give Lily Greenthumbs 12 stars.

The most beautiful flowers we've ever seen! We hired Lily Greenthumbs for our wedding day at the Ballantyne Hotel in June 2017 and we were blown away by their flowers! They were a preferred vendor and recommended by our venue and also highly rated on Wedding Wire. The products and service are not cheap, but you truly get what you paid for - we couldn't believe how big, beautiful, and gorgeous all of our flowers were to make our special day spectacular. We got all of our centerpieces, decorative flowers, draping tie backs, parents and wedding party flowers and my bouquet with Lily Greenthumbs, and every single piece was clearly carefully designed and created with our vision in mind and were just breathtakingly gorgeous.
I really apprecaited the consultations both on the phone and in person, for I am not knowledgeable in flower types, etc. Christina really worked with me to talk through my vision and helped make it a reality. When we saw our flowers on wedding day we were speechless and so pleased. Flowers are an expensive part of the day, but they make all the difference in beautifying your space (if they're created by Lily Greenthumbs, of course ;-)

Lily Greenthumb's is by far the best of the best when it comes to florists. Karen, the owner, is so personable and such a sweet lady. She also absolutely SAVED me for my bridal shoot! I completely forgot to order my bridal mock-up bouquet in time for my bridal shoot. I emailed her on a Sunday night and had my bridals the next afternoon. She put together a beautiful bouquet for me in moments notice so that I didn't have to go without one for my portraits. It meant so much to me! She also created the most fabulous arrangements for our wedding. I love flowers but had no clue exactly what I wanted. I only knew that I really liked peonies. Unfortunately, they were not in season when we got married. However, Karen showed me a flower that looked almost identical to it. It gave my bridal bouquet the exact look I was going for. She made the decision making process very easy! Lily Greenthumb's also had amazing centerpiece decorations (vases, votives, etc.) that matched my theme perfectly. I was so happy we were able to use them and extremely satisfied with how it all turned out. If you want a seamless experience with memorable florals, you found your girls!!

I asked Karen to do a number of crazy things including flying in olive branches from California so I could hand-paint them gold for place settings, creating floral and vine draped bride and groom chair backs incorporating some wood calligraphy signs I had, coming up with flower arrangements for my rehearsal dinner (at the last minute) that matched the wedding day arrangements so we could repurpose them (her idea - that we loved), sending her pinterest picture after pinterest picture - she was always on board and made it happen. The funnest part about working with Karen is you never hear the dreaded words, "I don't know how to do that" or "I can't do that". Our flowers were gorgeous - I knew they would be beautiful - but they really blew me away. Lily Greenthumbs really exceeded my expectations with their creativity, flexibility and eye for creating floral masterpieces. Loved them!!

For our April 30th wedding, I went into my initial appointment with a scattered brain and no real idea of what I was hoping for with my flowers. Lily Greenthumbs asked all the right questions, guiding me to realize what I truly wanted for my wedding flowers, when keeping in mind my budget. They took care of every detail, leaving me to not worry about a thing!
The day of our wedding, I was blown away when I saw my flowers and my bridesmaid flowers for the first time. They were more perfect than I ever could have imagined! Traditional with a bit of a modern and a big wow factor as I had hoped! There were even adorable napkins there to remind us to wipe the water before walking down the aisle.
When we reached our reception, the tables were pristine. Not a detail overlooked!
I would refer any couple to use Lily Greenthumb if you are looking for stunning flowers, wonderful customer service, and memories to last a lifetime!

I was planning our wedding from afar and they made sure I knew everything going on and worked with my schedule when I was in town to come to the storefront to make decisions. Karen was amazing and always responded to my emails or phone calls promptly. She understood my vision for the wedding and gave me her opinion when I wasn't sure how certain flowers would stand up or look together. She kept me in the loop and made me feel comfortable planning from afar. A few days before the wedding the peonies we planned to use in my bouquet were looking puny and not up to standard; instead of going ahead and using them she reached out and asked if there was another type I would like. She gave me options and pictures of flower I had never seen before and look just as good if not better! It's the attention to detail she had that made me extremely happy and put me at ease when I couldn't me as hands on due to location.

I knew from the moment I seen this company's profile on wedding wire that I wanted to use them no matter what the cost. I am happy t report that they went above and beyond my expectations they are so sweet and caring. Karen stayed in communication with me the whole time and the other associates were the best. My flowers were absolutely perfect. Kristin helped me out on my big day and even designed a cotton bouquet for my engagement pictures. She kept me up to date on my orders and helped me stay within my budget. She is so talented and I was very pleased with all of my flowers!

The bouquets and floral arrangements created by Lily Greenthumb's were outstanding. The staff was very easy to work with (thanks, Kristin), and we couldn't have been happier with the final products...they exceeded our expectations, and many guests commented on them. Karen and Kristen have been an absolute pleasure to work with! I walked into the studio with a few ideas but after taking the time to genuinely get to know me, they came up with the most perfect floral ideas. They created an arbor with hanging laterns, hanging flowers, weeping branches -- yes, it was the most perfect center price for our ceremony! The table arrangements were unbelievable and our guests are still talking about them. Karen and her team are truly the best of the best in the florist industry. I cannot recommend them enough! I could not have been more happy with my flowers for our wedding day! From our initial consultation to our wedding day everything was perfect and better than we imagined. Karen and her team are amazing and really have an great sense of what will look good. We picked some flowers that we liked at the consultation and Karen and her team took our general ideas and made it more than we could imagine! I loved everything about our flowers!

I could not have nicer things to say about these fantastic ladies! From the moment we walked into their shop we knew we were in the right hands. Karen just GOT my vision and totally made it happen. My bouquet was seriously to die for (like incredible!) and all of the florals in the ceremony and reception were absolutely spectacular. Karen had just had a baby and my wedding still went perfectly...talk about a superwoman with a super team! I think these ladies are just SO professional and most definitely know what they are doing! My wedding flowers were everything I could have hoped for and more!

ABSOLUTELY STUNNING!! I first discovered Lily Greenthumb's at a Bridal show and fell in love immediately. Karen and her staff were fantastic from beginning to end, and so creative in their designs. My flowers were more beautiful than I ever imagined. They worked with me in returning the vases used for the centerpieces, coming to pick them up later in the week at another wedding at the same venue. The consultation was so easy and stress free, I left there knowing I had made the right decision. Choosing Lily Greenthumb's Floral for our wedding flowers was such a great decision! Karen was so great to work with, during our initial consultation she talked through the ideas I had and gave such great suggestions. I don't know a whole lot about flowers and she did a wonderful job helping me choose flowers for my bouquet and the rest of the bridal party, that went well with my colors I wanted and the season (fall). My bouquet turned out AMAZING! More beautiful than I could have pictured. Karen told me I would love it and she was right! I couldn't be happier :) Pricing is very reasonable and Karen was so wonderful with all my questions and requests throughout the whole planning process. I highly recommend Lily Greenthumb's!!

She was willing to do whatever I wanted, but also didn't hesitate to tell me when she didn't think I needed more flowers, which I really appreciate and respect! On the day of my wedding, I was blown away by the flowers, as were my guests! I don't think I have ever seen a more beautiful bridal bouquet than what Karen created for me! Even my husband loved the flowers!

How do I even begin? I had such a hard time finding a florist. I was planning my Charlotte Wedding from college in Illinois and emailed 8 different vendors. After a long correspondence with another vendor, who shall remain nameless, and resulted a quote wayy above what I wanted I found Karen at Lilly Greentthumbs.
She was amazing. Even though I was far behind schedule and needed some flexibility she made sure I got everything I needed. I didnt need to spell it out for her either. I sent her some images of things I liked and told her to go to town. It was a little hard for me to picture in my head what she described but I am so happy I trusted her.
In my wedding I wanted to make 1000 paper cranes to get a wish for my new husband. Part of this meant I wanted cranes in my flowers. In our meeting (only a month before the actual day) I told her this and she was so happy to incorporate what I wanted. I just had to drop off some little crafts on the wedding week and she put them in the flowers for me. I even emailed her for an extra arrangement for my wedding arch FOUR DAYS BEFORE THE WEDDING. I was so stressed about everything, but flowers were definitely not one of them because Karen made sure that everything was set up perfectly.
As far as budget, Karen was so kind and thoughtful about it. I had to be a little flexible, but for a reasonable amount I got the wedding flowers of my dreams. My wedding planner's assistant (who didnt say much and probably sees a wedding every week) said that my flowers were the best she had ever seen... and they were by no means extravagant. If you want flowers that will be amazing, well priced, perfectly organized, and personally designed then go with Lily Greenthumbs.

Karen was wonderful. I walked in knowing nothing about flowers. She helped me with everything! She was very honest as well. I got married at an outdoor venue that already had a lot of flowers around. During our meeting with her, my mom(who went with me) asked Karen if she thought we needed any extra flowers for decorations on sight. Karen was said that she didn't think so because the venue was beautiful already but of course it was up to me. The arrangements were absolutely gorgeous!!!

We loved Karen right away at our first meeting and just new Lily Greenthumb's was perfect for us all around!! From the adorable name and logo, to the great meeting space at their workshop and awesome people we were so glad to work with Karen and Kristen. I was very specific about what I pictured for the swag over the church door and was really happy with what it turned into as well as I cannot stop looking at the pictures of my bouquet that I keep a picture on my desk at work!! I presented her with a picture of a bouquet that I had fallen in love with and when I saw John's grandmothers lace and my late father's Episcopal pin in the handle it was just perfect!! They gave the cocktail tables on the terrace a touch of elegance with mercury glass and bud vases and the flowers inside the museum were amazing everywhere you looked- the only thing I would say is I wish there were more :-) This is a great choice for all things floral but especially pleased for our wedding! They got me my anemones with true navy blue centers that everyone said was so hard to find and worked off of our vision in every detail! Great job!

I absolutely LOVE flowers, so for me choosing my bouquet and ceremony flowers was one of the hardest tasks of planning a wedding, I could not narrow down all the flowers I love into one cohesive arrangement. Karen and her store SOLVED my problem instantly by helping me narrow down the arrangements by colors, then specific flowers. THe result was my dream bouquet filled with the most beautiful peonies, hydrangeas, gardenias and sweet peas. The actual product was even more beautiful than I could have imagined. Lily Greenthumbs was incredibly flexible, I bet we emailed 50 times changing small details back and forth. Each time she quickly prepared a new invoice with an updated price so I would know exactly where I stood in terms of pricing. Flowers are always pretty, but Lily Greenthumb flowers are GORGEOUS and classic and are arranged in a way that makes you never want to put down your bouquet.

I don't even know where to begin. Karen was wonderful to work with. She stayed within my budget, helped me choose amazing arrangements and was always quick to respond to any questions/changes I had no matter what time I emailed her! On my wedding day Karen arrived right on time and the flowers were even more beautiful than I had imagined. All of my guests loved them! Karen's staff handtied the centerpieces within the glass cubes so at the end of the night, my guests could take home a centerpiece without me having to worry about tracking down vases/cubes. My guests loved that and at the end of the night, there were no centerpieces left! Truly worth every penny!

Working with Karen at Lily Greenthumb was awesome. All she had to do was show me different types of flowers and she came up with the idea for my bouquet. I was so pleased with it and they were beautiful! I didn't think flowers really made a difference but it made everything more elegant. She was very accommodating in staying within my budget and delivering the most beautiful flowers.

Karen was AMAZING to work with and her prices are just as great! She was so helpful in choosing the perfect bouquets for myself and my bridesmaids. She really knows what flowers work well together and what will be in season. She made this process so relaxing and enjoyable! One of the saddest parts of my wedding being over is not being able to work with Karen anymore :( I highly recommend her to any planning an event or wedding in or around the area!

Karen was an absolute DREAM to work with from the very first meeting. Her love and passion for what she does shines through. She helped keep me within budget without taking away from my ideas for my wedding day. I would highly recommend her to anyone!

Karen was amazing to work with. From the beginning she made the process so much fun and easy. I had met with other florists previously and it felt so different. I changed my mind many times and Karen was always so patient and ready to listen to my ideas and needs. Her store was so beautiful that I wanted stay longer. Her assistant was super sweet too. Karen captured my vision and at then end my outdoor garden wedding looked beautiful. She knew I loved tulips and it was evident in my flowers. She answered every email and call promptly which is so important during the wedding planning process. I would definitely recommend her! Thank you Karen!

She made my day perfect! For anything I wanted changed or reorganized or redesigned, it was always "yes". She responded to all inquires expeditiously and professionally and her work was flawless the day off. She is very honest and she has a great eye for flowers. Loved working with her!

Karen at Lily Greenthumb's is the best! She is very easy to work with and when I ran into issues setting up for the reception her staff asked no questions and jumped right in and started helping. Thanks to her and her staff my wedding was a success. Oh and the flowers were ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL and just what I had envisioned.

Lily Greenthumb's is simply the best!!! From the time I saw the name of this company, I knew I would just love them & that I did!! After meeting with another overpriced florist first who wanted to overcharge me every step of the way, I was really excited about my FREE planning consult with Karen (Lily's Owner) which was so much FUN! I loved her right away & I knew she was THE ONE I wanted on my team. So easy to work with, fun & full of great ideas, she got me, my budget & my vision right away. It helped that she loved pink too! Karen was the one vendor who actually got me excited for my wedding as I could envision the gorgeous flowers she would create for me. I was so giddy with happiness when I finally saw my bouquets on my wedding day!!!! They were everything I had wanted & they were perfect. I was instantly in love with my bouquet & didnt want to put it down. Could not stop looking at it all night. So I couldn't wait to get to the reception to see the rest of her creations. They were absolutely beautiful & we got so many compliments on them!!!!!!!! I was in love! Karen was absolutely wonderful to work with, kept me in budget & offered several cost cutting solutions to get me where I needed to be, while still giving me what I wanted & something I would be happy with. By far she was my best vendor! I will use her again & highly recommend her to anyone I know getting married. Lily Greenthumb's is simply the best!!!

From the moment we walked in the door for our consultation at Lily Greenthumbs we knew we would be in great hands. The meeting was laid back while still exuding professionalism. Before the real planning began were given picture books of flowers sorted by color to begin brainstorming what colors and blooms we liked best. From then our consultant helped us to envision our perfect arrangements based off our picks, examples and her recommendations. Approximately a week after our initial meeting we received our proposal that listed out every bouquet/boutonniere/arrangement with specific flowers and prices broken down by item. Lily Greenthumbs was incredibly easy to work with as we hammered out the details to come up with exactly what worked best for us and our budget. While we did spend more money on flowers than we had anticipated we ended up with stunning arrangements that exceeded our expectations.

I couldn't be happier with the floral arrangements that Lily Greenthumb's provided for our wedding. I wasn't sure what type of flowers I wanted but Karen helped me create the perfect flower choices based on the season, color of my preference, etc. They were gorgeous!!

I truly enjoyed working with them! I had a basic idea, and they added in all the creativity. When things changed, and I needed centerpieces in vintage vases-they made it work. It was nice to not worry about a thing, and everything turned out perfectly.

Karen from Lily Greenthumb's made deciding on floral arrangements very easy. She is knowledgeable, flexible, and really listened to what I wanted my flowers to look like and the overall feel of the ceremony and reception. My bouquet was one of the first things I saw when I arrived to the venue and it looked absolutely gorgeous and gave me goose bumps because it suddenly felt real that I would be walking down the aisle to the love of my life. Flowers can be very expensive but Karen did work with me to come up with solutions to get what I wanted within my budget. I will definitely work with Lily Greenthumb's again in the future!

Great service! Flowers looked and smelled amazing. We picked our bridal bouquet yesterday - it had been in water for a week while we were honeymooning and it still looked and smelled great!

I loved my flowers for our wedding. They were all beautiful and I got compliments all night long. I had consultations with multiple florists, but I felt the most confident with Lily Greenthumb's. She was extremely professional since our first meeting and even followed up with me after the appointment. No other florist did that and it showed that she truly cares about potential clients.

My flowers were absolutely beautiful. Karen listened to what I wanted and delivered perfectly. Everyone commented on how beautiful the table centerpieces and my bouquet were. The flowers were also good quality-no brown edges or drooping blooms .

ok so let me say that Lily Greenthumb ROCKS!! My flowers weren't what I expected but I loved them! And Karen is so great to work with!! Look her up on facebook and see her fabulous work! I would highly recommend her to any bride. She's sweet and very professional. She's very reasonable. I had her decorate the arbor where I was married and I loved it...I had people at the end of the night asking for flowers!! Yes they were that beautiful. Overall, I was pleased with the florals provided for wedding and reception. My bouquet and the bridal party bouquets came out great. The arrangements for the reception were gorgeous. The ceremony aisle markers, however, didn't meet my expectations. The overall design of the aisle markers didn't coordinate with the other flowers used throughout. Lily's was great to work with, but if you don't have an extremely large budget for flowers then you should probably look elsewhere.
