Great Bridal Shop

Great place. Felt comfortable, not packed or overbooked or indifferent like other places - I went to a lot of bridal shops. They were flexible with my schedule and didn't mind me trying dresses on multiple times. Very accommodating and made the experience very pleasant.

Beautiful dresses, personally tailored experience, reasonably priced, great quality

I sent inspiration pictures prior to my appointment. When I walked in, they already had the perfect dresses pulled based on my style. They were not pushy and really seemed to care that I found my dream dress. The experience was stress free and tailoring was relatively quick and reasonably priced.

Perfect experience!

I made an appointment for my mother to join me as I shopped for bridal dresses. I had the first appointment of the day and was given a private bridal suite to try on dresses. The suite was very spacious and open with a private area to view the dresses in front of floor to ceiling mirrors. We loved how the store was separated into multiple rooms with beautiful decor. The store was very inviting and the employees were very friendly and personable. We were even fortunate enough to meet the owner! Letty was wonderful with helping us from beginning to end. I started with a few dresses and we were able to navigate to different dresses based on what I liked and didn't like. Letty was very caring, helpful, professional and understanding. We were not rushed through our appointment and even came back before closing to purchase my wedding dress! Thank you Lillian's and Letty for your assistance and wonderful memory we have of purchasing my wedding dress! I would recommend you to everyone and my mother thinks every woman should come to this store to purchase their wedding dress!

Best day ever!

We had our own suite! I was their first customer of the day so I was able to look at all dresses right then as opposed to waiting for other girls to try on. Great experience and a lot of fun!

Everyone we worked with at Lillian's was so wonderful and accommodating! I made several appointments with them and ended up having a great time each visit and bought 2 dresses! I had a dress, belt and topper for my wedding and bought a 2nd dress for honeymoon pictures. They were helpful in suggesting who I should use as well for alterations. I couldn't have picked a better shop to do business with. I have been to others in the area and in other cities in search of what I wanted and found both right here in Centerville.

I went into Lillian's Bridal Boutique with my mom and MOH because they were having a sale and we wanted to start looking for a dress. I didn't expect to leave that day with a dress, especially since it was the only place we looked! Hannah helped me select and try on gowns. She was so sweet and personable. She really did her best to figure out "my style" and she nailed it by helping me find the DRESS and veil to match! The experience was stress-free and fun, they made me feel so special. I will recommend Lillian's to all of my friends and family looking for a beautiful dress and a personable experience.

I had an amazing experience at Lillian's. Their dresses were much more affordable than many other local dress shops. Hanna was very helpful in directing me to designs that matched my taste and budget and in selecting the final dress. She was also able to get rush shipment on the dress to ensure that it would make it in time for alterations before the wedding. I was very happy with the service.

I worked with Danielle when I had my appointment and I had an amazing experience! The boutique was amazing and she let me look around the racks and thoroughly explained everything before pulling what she thought I would like based on my reactions to those. Danielle obviously loved what she did and helped me to feel comfortable and have fun during my appointment. Danielle was so helpful and even let me stop in unannounced TWICE and let me try on what ended up being my dream dress and stay in them for as long as I needed. By the time I had it on the third time, I had tried on enough dresses to know that no other dress could compare and I absolutely love the dress I ended up with! Danielle gave me space when I needed to process things but was also there exclusively for me when I was in the shop. She didn't try to pressure me into anything or try to rush me, which wasn't true of all of the shops I went to. I would definitely recommend going to this boutique!

Lillian's was the first and only place I looked for my wedding dress. The lady helping me offered great suggestions about what to try on and everything she brought me was in my budget. I tried on about a dozen dresses before finding "the one".

Love having my own area to try on my dress. It felt so special and really set an elegant mood to my time there. I didn't feel rushed or crowded like in other bridal shoppes. I also liked that the dresses were large enough for me to wear them so I'd know if I liked them enough to order one. I found my special dress there, and so did my mom.

I was extremely happy with my visit to Lilian's! They actually fit me in the day that I called and were so nice and welcoming. I felt that my happiness was a priority and the associate that helped me was just as excited as I was to start picking out dresses to try on. She was excellent at knowing what dress would look good on me, while keeping the details that I had described in mind. All this and we came in very under budget!
I would recommend this boutique to anyone, and I would say do not waste time any where else like I did...You will be more than happy at Lillian's!

Works cannot express how pleased I was with my bridal dress shopping experience. The entire staff at Lillian's was eager to help me achieve my dream bridal look. The stylist took the time to help me create what I was looking for within my budget. The atmosphere is quiet and relaxed. I have already recommended another Bride to Lillian's--she actually bought a dress! Do yourself a favor and shop Lillian's first.

Lillians has the best bridal gowns in the Dayton area hands down. They offer gorgeous products, unbeatable customer service, and fantastic alterations (through Bahar). Every bride needs to go to Lillians - you won't need to go anywhere else!

They did a fabulous job of helping me pick out my dress and finding the perfect accessories for my wedding. They helped me really pull together the whole look! I wasn't ready to buy the first time I went in, but after thinking about my dress for weeks I went back for it, Best of all, when I went back, my dress was half off!

I cannot say enough good things about my experience with Lillian's. They go above and beyond to make you feel special, and to give you their undivided attention. The décor is fabulous and they had a ton of choices. For my appointment, I brought along my mother and future mother in law. We had the bridal section to ourselves for most of the appointment! I was allowed to go through rows of dresses, pick ones I wanted to try on, and Hanna would pull them into the room for me. We had an entire room where I could try on the dresses, with 3 huge floor length mirrors and a bench for my guests to sit. There was also a curtained off section inside the room for me to change into. I loved that because you aren't the center of attention for the entire store and strangers aren't watching you during such an intimate moment. I never felt pressured, and Hanna always had great suggestions. I am in love with my dress! We also bought my bridesmaids dresses here, and I couldn't be happier. I would absolutely recommend Lillian's to EVERYONE!

I loved my experience at Lillian's!! They are very professional and know their inventory. Wedding dress shopping can be an overwhelming experience. It's hard to look at racks and racks of dresses to choose one yourself. Lillian's gave me the experience you see on TV, one where it is about the bride and what you want, with a professional who knows wedding gowns.

I received my dress from Lillian's and I knew that is where I wanted to go for my wedding dress. Their dresses are beautiful! When i put my dress on I knew it was the one. With the alterations from Bahar and the help of the staff, my dress was perfect! Bahar worked with me on altering my dress so that it fit my body perfectly and was able to add on to it. It was absolutely gorgeous! My mom got her dress there too and Bahar worked wonders and helped my mom's dress come alive. My mother in law as well as bridesmaids all got their dresses from Lillian's too and had nothing but nice things to say about the staff and alterations with Bahar! Thank you Lillian's for the beautiful dresses and excellent service! :)

Lillians provided an excellent atmosphere to find a wedding dress. Other salons are crowded with thousands of dresses to look through, which made the experience less enjoyable. Lillians carried high quality gowns in many sizes with ample styles to choose from. I enjoyed working with their staff and found their input helpful and not overbearing as in some salons I visited. I would definitely recommend Lillians for a bridal gown or bridesmaid dress.

My experience with Lillian's was awesome! I went to Lillian's pretty early in my search for a wedding dress and was helped by Rhonda. She is truly excellent and really helped me to figure out exactly what I was looking for in my dress. I selected several dresses to try, and I got to try on the one I had found from a magazine that I loved (Lillian's was the only store that carried the style I wanted and Rhonda and Kristen were willing to order another one I wanted to try). Although I thought I wanted to go with my original dress that I had gone in for, Rhonda encouraged me to try another one that she thought I would like...I LOVED it that day and even more on my wedding day!

I ended up getting my dress, hairpiece, veil, and shoes from Lillian's because the atmosphere of the salon, the excellence of the staff, and the selection were all incredible. I got to model some of their beautiful dresses in a bridal fashion show which was also an amazing experience (though not necessarily one I'd care to repeat, haha). If you're a bride searching for your perfect dress, do yourself a huge favor and let the awesome ladies at Lillian's help you out! Both Rhonda and Kristen are excellent!

After checking out a few bridal stores in Dayton and Cincinnati, Lillian's was by far the best. They have a vast selection of wedding gowns, evening gowns, mother of the bride gowns and bridesmaid gowns. The dresses they carry are very unique and range from traditional to couture. The prices are very reasonable considering the quality of gowns they carry. The staff is very nice and helpful and offers that personal touch. Lillian's has someone doing alterations at the boutique which was very convenient. I really felt like my wedding dress was a "one of a kind".

Very nice staff. They really make sure you get what you need for your wedding! Rhonda is the best employee at a bridal boutique! My dress was fabulous and the cost was unbelievable. I am a fan for sure. My sister got two prom dress and my mother got her mother of the bride dress from there as well.

I'm telling you now ladies, skip the hell of Bridal and Formal and go see Rhonda at Lillian's Briday in Dayton! The atmostphere is aesthetic and relaxing. You will actually get your own dressing area where your mom and friends can privately view your selections. No changing in a crammed room full of 20 other brides eyeing the dress you have on. Rhonda is helpful and patient, works within your budget and listens to your wants and needs. No pressuring commission-based sales chicks wanting to get you in and out so they can make money on the next sale. Their selection is great and they have bridesmaids dresses too. I'm telling you, Reading is overrated! Go to Lillian's and you will actually enjoy your wedding dress shopping experience!!

The ladies at Lillian's were very professional and helped me complete my entire wedding ensemble from start to finish. They took what I thought I wanted in a wedding gown and given my budget they pulled those dresses aside for me to try on. I knew what dress was mine with in the first few dresses. They made the process very fun and very stress free. The facility was a joy to shop in and was very organized. They also helped with the bridesmaids and with the shoes and veil for my dress. All were delivered with in the time frame given and were completed with no problems. My mothers dress and coat were also made special order. the jacket was made simply from a picture and was perfect. They also noticed that I needed some help finding a salon to do my hair for the wedding and they suggested someone that they felt was perfect. I ended up going with that salon and it also was perfect for my wedding. They do a wonderful job at Lillian's and I would recommend them to anyone.

Great atmosphere and great customer service! We loved our experience purchasing my bridal gown and renting our groomsmen navy suits. Every time I stepped in the door it was a wonderful peaceful experience which has been appreciated with the crazy wedding planning pace of life.

I did not go to lillians for a bridal gown, I went for a prom dress. But even so, the service was amazing. The woman working went and got all sorts of dresses for me to try on and she said just have fun and try on whatever you want. I found a dress I was in love with but it was very high priced and my mother was not sure she wanted to spend that kind of money on a dress, so the lady offered to hold it for me till close that day and call her and let her know if we decided to come back for it. I had an excellent experience there, and definitely plan to go back for a bridal gown if it is still in business.

I have heard plenty of horror stories about dress problems and have had a few myself as a bridesmaid having to by for friends weddings (4...but whose's counting). Anyway, Lillian's was awesome. Totally unlike the other bridal shops I have been to. First of all the shop is beautiful and very boutique. There are a ton of accessories to choose from and I really felt like the selection of dresses was very different and not 'off the rack.' The prices were what you would expect. The one-on-one service was amazing too. I didn't feel like a number. I took off one star for flexibility because you really just shouldn't 'pop in', but I understand thats how they do their one-on-one service too. So its worth the time to make an appoinment.

I was referred to Lillian’s by a friend who had got her wedding dress there. I had considered traveling to Cincinnati to check out bridal row, but I liked the idea of staying local. First, I made an appointment to try on dresses at Lillian's. I took some pictures with me and explained that I was looking for a fit-and-flare style. I was greeted and then directed to an area of dresses that were my style and price range. When I was escorted to the room where I tried on dresses I could not believe how big and beautifully the room was decorated. I felt like a princess before even putting on a gown.
I began talking to my consultant and noticed she had a lot of knowledge. When I asked how long she had worked there, Kristin kindly explained to me that she was the owner and how many years she had been in the business. It made me feel extra special that the store owner was working with me directly.
The third dress I tried on was “The One”. I did not say yes to the dress on the spot because I only had one friend with me. I wanted to think about the dress for a few days and get more opinions to insure I was making the right decision. Also, I considered making some changes to the dress as I had the option to choose different colors and I was torn between the train on another dress.
I was a little disappointed when I was not allowed to take pictures of the dress. But, I understand that some brides take pictures of a dress only to go somewhere else to get it.
I went back and put on the dress and I knew it was the right choice and that nothing about the dress needed to be changed. I was measured and Lillian's placed an order for a Casablanca dress to be made to fit me. At the time I placed my order they were running a special for a free head piece and so I ordered a bird cage veil as well -- for free! I also ordered extra buttons that match my dress so that my florist could use them to decorate the stem of my bouquet.
I learned that it is important to place a dress order FAR in advance. I was told my gown could take up to 6 months before it was complete and received by Lillian's. However, it came faster than expected.
When I tried on my dress I was somewhat disappointed that it did not fit exactly how I imagined. Unfortunately, it's hard to imagine a perfect fit when you try on a sample that is many sizes too big. Rather than being a true fit-and-flare, the gown was much more of an A-line. Also, it was too long--I encourage brides to have shoes with the heel size you plan to wear--luckily my hem was fairly easy.
Lillian's has an in-house seamstress, Bahar's Studio. Bahar did a fabulous job hemming my dress to make it shorter. She also did a fabulous job taking in the seam on each side around my hips to give me the fit-and-flare look I had hoped for. She steamed my dress and kept it hanging for me until 5 days before my wedding when I went for my final fitting. It fit like a glove.
Also, I had been shopping around to find the right bolero/shawl to match my dress. As my wedding was in November I knew I would need something to keep me warm. I thought I could find something online, at Macy's or somewhere and maybe get it cheaper than at a Bridal Salon. However, I learned that finding a nice bolero that does not look like a bath rug was a tough feat and that they are expensive no matter where you go. The week before my wedding I went back to Lillian's and Kristin happened to have something on the rack that was the right size and color for just $120.
I love supporting local businesses. Spending my money locally affects my community directly. My dress was more expensive than I would have paid at a chain, but it was worth it to me. I am so happy that a place like Lillian's is in the Dayton area, so close to my home. I have been to what is considered the most prestigious Bridal Shop in Munich, German, (the most wealthy/expensive city in Germany) and I have to say Lillian’s makes a much better presentation—except they didn’t pop bottles of champagne when I said “YES TO THE DRESS”. Overall, I am completely satisfied. I was told by many that my dress was the most beautiful they had ever seen.

I had a wonderful experience at Lilian's! The store is beautiful, they have a large selection of dresses, and the woman they have on site who does alterations (Bahar) is fabulous. However, you MUST have an appointment...which I'm noticing a lot of reviewers complaining about. I had a consultant (Rhonda) to myself. She had my mom and I pull dresses we liked and then she also pulled dresses that matched the styles from the pictures I showed her. After trying on about a dozen dresses and realizing that I wanted something "more" than the simple styles I had thought I would like, Rhonda pulled 2 dresses that I loved. She worked within my price point, never trying to make me spend more than I was comfortable with, and she threw in a beautiful veil and gorgeous sash for free. Bahar did a wonderful job on my dress, especially the bustle. I wanted the train to fold under so that gown looked like the train was gone instead of just having fabric rippling down from my butt. It was done so seamlessly people thought I had actually removed the train instead of bustling it. I loved Lilian's and would recommend it to everyone!

I LOVE THIS PLACE! Its so pretty, you really feel special...I did not want to go to a large overwhelming warehouse or chain store. The staff at Lillians is so nice and fun. Note, you MUST have an appointment, but I appreciate this...mine was on a saturday morning and there was one just one other bride there in a separate room...I hardly saw her, I really felt like the store was mine that morning. You have your own large dressing room (you don't have to change in front of a bunch of other brides), and the bridal assistant just passes the dress into you. I am not modest, but I imagine for someone who is, this would be a relief. Attached to my dressing room, was a sitting room that was just for me and my group (brought my mom, sisters, and mother in law). The sitting room was so pretty with large gold framed mirrors, a chandelier, and plenty of comfy seating. Again, I feel like the atmosphere was just as lovely as my dress, and all together is was a special day I will remember forever. The owner and staff really know their dresses - the one I ended up buying was one they pulled for me that I wouldn't have pulled for myself. They have a great selection, and about 4 large racks of sample's you can buy for 50% off. NICE! I bought my dress well with in my budget. You can deff get an awesome dress for 600-900 if you are looking to stay under $1000, and are okay with purchasing a discontinued sample. For me, a sample dress was perfect, because waiting the 6-9 months it takes for a new dress to come in, would have been cutting it close to my wedding date. The obviously have a ton of new dresses too, that they can order just for you. Lillian's has a woman who does the alterations right there at the store. They also have veils, headbands, sashes, shoes, and great jewelry. I know most bridals stores do - but this is nice stuff ladies! I am going to go back and get all that stuff closer to my first fitting. Oh, and my fiance will get his tux rental for free! See? Happiness for everyone. We left the store loving the experience and talked about it all through lunch. I hear horror stories about dress shopping, I am so glad that wasn't the case for me!

I LOVED MY DRESS. Lillian's was the only place that had unique dresses that didn't all look the same. And I got so many compliments on the day of about my "perfect" dress. Was so happy with the entire experience here.

Purchased my wedding dress here in September 2015, and it was promised to arrive in March. I made an appointment (recommended for sure) and went with my mom, mother-in-law, grandma, and aunt. It was my first time trying on wedding dresses, and honestly I picked Lillian's for my first spot because two of my friends had gotten their dresses there and it was local. But I ended up loving it and finding my dress there! The store is nice, they have private dressing rooms with pedestals, full length mirrors, and seating for anyone who comes with you. Hanna was my consultant, and she was very knowledgable and helpful. After chatting about what I was looking for, I was able to look through the racks and select gowns that stood out to me and she selected some. I was able to try on whatever dresses I wanted, I probably tried on 15-20 and they even pulled them off the mannequins. I ended up with 4 very different dresses as my favorites, which they recorded and saved under my file. I was then able to make an appointment later and returned with my bridesmaids to select my dress. They pulled the 4 dresses I had saved and we retried them all on. They're really good about letting you stay in the dresses and retry them on and go back and forth. They have jewelry, shoes, and veils that you can all put on to help you visualize the look. The only thing that was difficult was not being able to take any photos until after you select your gown, which was hard since my maid of honor lives out of town so I couldn't show her any pictures until I had already selected my gown. My dress was reasonably priced, especially compared to major designers. I also purchased a veil and belt to go with my dress. They have in-house alterations which is really convenient and nice, Behar's Studio. She was very thorough and did and excellent job but she can be a little hard to get ahold of. Thank you Lillian's for helping me find my dream dress!

The dress selection was great. Although some of our dresses came back as the wrong size Lillian had the problem corrected immediately.

Some of the best wedding planning advice I received was to shop for a dress here. To ensure one-on-one attention, the bridal boutique requests you make an appointment. They even made arrangements with a seamstress to meet me at the shop.

I found my wedding dress here and bought it off the rack for half price. I got the most gorgeous gown and found it in my budget by buying it off the rack. I never dreamed of a wedding dress fitting me so perfectly. From the day I bought it one year before my wedding until my wedding day I had to get zero alterations! It was meant for me and I felt like a princess on my wedding day. They have everything you need to look stunning on your special day. I added a sash with some sparkle to my dress and bought my veil from them which I also received at half off. Can't beat the quality either! Since I bought my dress at Lillian's my bridesmaids got their dresses at 10% off and they also got a dollar amount off for paying all at once. Great way to save your girls some money and have them look gorgeous as well.

The shop is great! Its beautiful and it really makes you feel even more excited about the experience. Theres tons of dresses to choose and even a section for mothers and bridesmaids. The lady helping me asked me to flip the hanger on the dresses I wanted to try. I flipped approximately eight, but she only allowed me to try on a few of those and kinda ignored my request to hurry up and try on the next dress when I knew instantly I did not like a dress. I felt pressured to pick a dress that day because of the 10% off if purchased on my first time there deal. I was sad I wasn't allowed to try on all the dresses I wanted to try and felt eight was a fair amount to try. I ended up purchasing a dress but had doubts soon after and felt upset. I ended up coming back to try on dresses I wasn't allowed to try the first time, but did not buy them because I had already spent a lot on the first dress and could not return it. I did not like how pushy the lady was about buying a dress that day and wish I could do the whole experience over again because it is not something I like to remember.

We found a beautiful dress at Lillian's. We looked specifically at their discounted selection of dresses.
The attendant who worked with us was very friendly originally and took time to show us many different dresses. When we found "the one", we were concerned about the cut of the bodice. She was able to show us very clearly what their alterations service would do to adjust it. That was spot on and helpful.
Unfortunately after we made our purchase the attendant changed her friendly demeanor almost immediately. It was clear we were no longer important to her, and that took away all of my trust in their business.
I would reccomend this business, because of their great selection of dresses with many price ranges. But watch your back just a little.

Lillians has a gorgeous selection of dresses and accesories. My dress and jewelry were beautiful! My jewelry was expensive, my necklace broke the day of the wedding and the earrings, I wouldnt wear again because the material is so cheap I got a horrible infection on my earlobes. I feel like we were treated like royalty the first time and the day we bought the dress after the dress was paid for (all sales are final) the service wasnt quite the same. But, they do have gorgeous dresses!

After reading rave reviews in yelp we made an appointment to view samples at Lillian’s amd purchased a gown here. Their service was just okay but the wedding specialist/tailor they recommended is atrocious! Unprofessional and dishonest! Do yourself a favor and avoid Young’s Bridal shop in Centerville. What a waste of time!

Your worst nightmare!!

I found my wedding dress at lillians.. I LOVED my dress...however, the lady selling me the dress, RHONDA, was the most obnoxious woman I had ever met. She talked non-stop about herself, she put dresses back I had picked out because she didn't like them for me, she made the comment when I was buying my dress "would you like a smaller size than what you wear?" I said no, I want the size that fits why? And she then asked "Well aren't you going to diet before your wedding?" Who says that? AND WORST OF ALL....my dress came in 3 inches too short. I mean 3 inches off the ground too short. Also, it didnt fit...at all. I am only 5'8''...thats not that tall....and only 150 pounds..thats not that fat!! So it shouldn't be that hard to find a dress that fits...right?? Well, Rhonda never measured me! So, instead of trying to help us figure out what to do, Rhonda was rude and said I was wearing the dress wrong....if I pulled it down anymore my chest would have fallen out!! Rhonda was extremely rude and unhelpful. She FINALLY after 2 hours of arguing admitted that she messed up by not measuring me. And the best they could do was ship it back to CHINA and get it back 10 days before my wedding!!!! So I found a new dress somewhere else...definitely not worth the stress! SOOOO..dont go there..and if you do...don't let Rhonda help you...your ears will bleed from listening to her talk.
