We cannot say enough wonderful things about Kelly at Lilac & Sage. From the moment we booked her—based on a trusted referral from a close friend—we knew we were in the best hands, and she exceeded every expectation.
Kelly brought my vision to life beyond my wildest dreams. She transformed our space into a true winter wonderland, elevating every corner with florals that had guests constantly commenting on how stunning they were. From my bridal bouquet (which was absolutely perfect and incorporated the exact colors I hoped for) to the whiskey barrels, cocktail hour tables, sweetheart table, ceremony pergola, “in loving memory” table, and all guest and wedding party tables—every detail was executed flawlessly.
Beyond her undeniable talent, Kelly’s professionalism was exceptional. Her communication was clear, thoughtful, and honest, with complete price transparency and helpful guidance throughout the entire process. Kelly really makes this whole process so fun and enjoyable! She truly collaborated with us to make our vision come to life while ensuring everything felt seamless and stress-free.
Kelly is kind, incredibly talented, and an absolute joy to work with. We are endlessly grateful for her and could not recommend Lilac & Sage more highly.

Kelly is a magical fairy when it comes to florals! When we had our first call with her in April 2024 for our October 2025 wedding, we could instantly tell we were in good hands. Kelly took the time to understand our vision, and even came up with ideas for how we could repurpose our ceremony flowers for the reception. Throughout the planning process, Kelly was very supportive, easy to work with, and on the day of our wedding, she went above and beyond for us! Our guests continue to tell us how breathtaking our flowers were. The aisle meadow I had described for the ceremony with the ground crescent arch, was perfectly brought to life, and all of the ceremony flowers looked stunning in the ballroom for the reception. Kelly showed me how to take care of my bouquet, and even provided vases for my bouquet and the bridesmaids' bouquets. We cannot recommend Lilac & Sage Studio enough! Kelly and her team made our wedding day extra special :) -

Is there an option to give more stars? HIRE KELLY!! From the very beginning of working with Lilac & Sage I knew I had made the best decision to have her apart of our wedding day. She understood my vision, and executed it better than I could have ever imagined! Through almost 15 months of planning Kelly was with me every step of the way helping me make sure my design and vision was cohesive. I’d hire Kelly and her team 100x over to have the flowers at our wedding as perfect as they were! -

We had the best time working with Kelly and Lilac and Sage for our wedding. We wanted vibrant jewel toned flowers for a jungle disco vibe and Kelly understood the assignment and created an absolutely stunning atmosphere for our wedding and celebration. We got so many compliments on the flowers. We could not more strongly recommend Kelly. She was an absolute joy to work and just enhanced our wedding experience so much! -

Lilac and Sage perfectly executed our wedding vision. I went into my first meeting with Kelly not really knowing what I wanted other than "bright and summery". She was so kind and helpful and the final result was better than I ever could have imagined. The bright florals were a hit with not only me and my bridesmaids, but we received compliments for days following the event.
Her team did an amazing job setting up greenery as the backdrop to our ceremony and even helped attach a special item to my bridal bouquet at the last minute.
We also loved that we were able to be a little more sustainable with Lilac and Sage. We were able to rent plants and plant stands for our ceremony which was such a unique touch. We were also able to rent the bud vases on our tables which cut back on our after-wedding waste. I can't wait for the next opportunity to work with Kelly and the rest of her team! -

Working with Kelly for our wedding was the best! She took our vision and turned it into the most breathtaking floral designs that blew us away. Every arrangement, from the bouquets to the ceremony and reception flowers, felt romantic, thoughtful, and perfectly us. Kelly's attention to detail, creativity, and flawless execution of our vision made the whole process seamless. From start to finish, Kelly and her team listened, cared, suggested, and invested in the beauty of my son's and daughter-in-law's wedding day. We wanted local, seasonal, loose, natural flowers and our vision was enthusiastically embraced. Communicating was easy and timely, and Kelly was supportive every step of the way. We appreciated her knowledge of the venue (Blackstone Rivers Ranch) and her understanding of what we wanted. Overall, couldn't be more pleased with quality and presentation of all floral items. I literally cannot say enough good things about Kelly and the Lilac and sage team. From the beginning, it felt like I was talking to a friend (a friend who listens!). Kelly really took in all of my hopes, inspirations, and vision for my weeding day and truly brought it to life. She was always available to chat if I had ideas or additions. She made me feel like a priority, like I was her only wedding. She was willing to work with some of my own inventory/ props that I wanted incorporated into the design and intergraded them flawlessly, just how I had envisioned. She not only styled my wedding but helped me come up with ways to cost effectively repurpose all the pieces to be enjoyed through out the night. Myself, my husband, and our guests were floored by her designs, arrangements, and floral choices. Shes an artist. Do not sleep on your florist! If you want phenomenal florals, artistic design, and a great vendor to work with do not look any further, she’s your girl!!! -

Kelly was very professional and easy to work with. My vision for my florals was very simple and elegant - with mainly white roses. She perfectly recreated the inspiration for my bouquet, it was so beautiful!! The piece for our ceremony pergola was bigger than I thought it was going to be which was a very pleasant surprise :) -

Gorgeous- all flowers big and small!
L&S did the flowers for our daughter’s wedding and we are so pleased! Her bouquet, my hair combs, the boutonnières- all were lovely and exactly how we wanted them. Kelly and her team outdid themselves on the flowers for our venue- huge sprays on our pergola and the wedding arch. Highly recommend! -

Definitely Recommend!
I was absolutely blown away by our flowers from Kelly at Lilac and Sage studio! She was so sweet and easy to work with and her prices were affordable compared to other florists I got quotes from. Then when I actually saw the pieces she created, I was astonished at how lush and beautiful the arrangements were! Our invisible arch was stunning and the flowers around the cake were beautiful. I loved my bouquet too! I really only said something along the lines of "I'm fine with greenery and white flowers, doesn't have to be over the top" thinking that I wanted to save money, but was absolutely amazed with what she was able to do! I planned our whole wedding in Colorado from Ohio, so I didn't even meet in person or see anything. The whole process was really seamless and easy! I would highly recommend Lilac and Sage Studio! -

Thoughtful, flexible, and GORGEOUS flowers!
I cannot express how WONDERFUL Kelly James at Lilac and Sage studio was to work with!! She was kind, thoughtful, and patient! She was flexible when I changed my mind multiple times, and the flower arrangements she produced were GORGEOUS. Better than I had even imagined. Kelly is by far one of the most professional and reliable wedding vendors in the North Denver metro. Kelly was patient and supportive as my vision changed multiple times throughout the planning process. She was flexible and helped me stay within my budget without sacrificing quality or quantity of flowers. Kelly provided all of the rentals needed to bring my centerpieces to life at a very reasonable price and saved me the time and money of having to go out and buy those items myself. She and her team did an amazing job of setting up on the day of the wedding and I truly almost burst into tears when I saw my bouquet. Kelly was always prompt with responding to emails and questions I had. Flowers can drastically change the way a wedding feels and mine was an absolute dream come true thanks to sweet Kelly. Can't recommend her enough and will be a returning customer for any future flower orders! -

Working with Kelly was incredibly easy! I found her last minute when I decided I wanted myself and my husband to have a real bouquet and boutonniere for our wedding so that we could dry them out and save them afterwards. Kelly was fast, incredibly nice, and she has such a great eye for floral arrangements. She was also reasonably priced and in our budget which was a huge plus!
I reached out to so many floral companies and they were all either booked up or I did not get a response. If you are wanting great quality flowers and someone extremely nice and easy to work with I highly recommend looking into Lilac and Sage! -

The best decision I ever made (besides, you know, deciding to get married) was to hire Kelly and her team for our wedding! From the very beginning, Kelly's incredible warmth and kindness made her an absolute delight to work with. She listened carefully to our vision and created the perfect color palette and moodboard - and to see it come to life at our wedding was a dream come true! Her arrangements were absolutely stunning and quite unique - she created the most ethereal bouquets and made the arch that our venue came with come alive with an explosion of color. She was very responsive all throughout the year and provided so many helpful tips and ideas. On the day of the wedding, we had so many people gush about the flowers. Our photographer even said they were some of the best she'd ever seen! We can't recommend her highly enough! Kelly, thank you, thank you, thank you for creating the wedding of my dreams! -

Kelly from Lilac and Sage Studio was amazing to work with for our wedding this year. She was able to make our floral dreams come true and our florals were literally perfection. Kelly went above and beyond by creating a pdf-version of a vision board from our initial meeting. Kelly was also proactive when it came to communicating with one another. By doing this we were able to make a timely, minimal change to our color scheme and it was executed flawlessly. We also live out-of-state and coordinating everything with Kelly from states away was seamless. We were able to meet via zoom and Kelly responded to emails in a very timely fashion. Not to mention Kelly is one of the nicest humans I've ever met and I wish I lived in-state so I could be friends with her. Highly recommend working with Lilac and Sage Studio and with Kelly. -

We cannot say enough lovely things about Kelly and her team. Kelly was honestly a dream florist, not only because she was attentive, on top of everything, timely, and organized, but also because she completely nailed our wedding vision. Our vibe was romantic, garden-esque, and whimsical-- think a victorian painting of water nymphs-- and Kelly completely knew what we were talking about because she has a background in art and art history! Her expertise in this area and her natural talent are completely obvious. I even got to request certain flowers that Kelly included that were really special to us. She also helped us to fill in a hole in our color palette in the most perfect way with toffee roses. She is amazing and knowledgable!
I made a few big last minute changes, and she immediately responded and made the changes and 100% understood the ask.
We had to battle some rain on our big day, and this was no issue for her for our outdoor ceremony. I got compliments all night on our flowers, and I am still getting compliments on our wedding flowers specifically.
Her prices are also super affordable for the work, level of talent, and the amount of flowers that you get. I can't emphasize enough how perfect Kelly and her team are. She honestly made our dreams come true, and she has a special place in our heart for making our wedding truly so spectacularly lush and beautiful.

Exceeded Every Vision
My client and I hired Lilac and Sage Studio as the florist for my client's summer wedding in Vail, CO. Kelly was quick to respond, listened to my clients vision- designing a vision board, and executed the vision perfect on wedding day. The arraignments (attached) were done with care and precision. Still obsessing
I will never get over our wedding florals thanks to Lilac and Sage. We got married at the Denver Botanic Gardens and I wanted a few floral arrangements and my bouquet to complement the beauty of the space, but I didn't have any specific colors or details, just an overall feel for the day that I was trying to achieve. I had an incredible first chat with Kelly and she sent me a mood board for all the arrangements and it was clear that she had completely captured everything I was thinking but couldn't articulate. Not only was Kelly an absolute joy to work with leading up to the wedding, but I will forever be blown away by the beauty she created for our day. With only my bridal bouquet and two arrangements at our altar, Kelly made the already beautiful Woodland Mosaic into a completely enchanting ceremony. I was immediately devastated that flowers don't live forever so I have asked my husband to have them recreated from silk flowers as an anniversary gift in the future so I can always admire them and cherish how much pure joy and beauty they brought us and all of our guests on the most beautiful day of our lives. -

Incredible vendor! Goes above and beyond!
There are so many amazing things I have to say about Kelly and her floral work with Lilac and Sage Studio. I reached Kelly’s company through vendor recommendations, and I am so happy I decided to work with her on my wedding day! From our first message exchange, she was so kind, polite and reassuring! Our phone “meeting” only solidified those feelings. She felt like a guide and supporter, much more than a regular vendor. It is hard to explain, but I felt Kelly understood exactly what I needed and hyped me on my own ideas. Her vision board for my wedding was perfect. There was no need for any back and forth emails or corrections. Leading up to the event, she checked back with me to see if any changes needed to be made. The day of the event she arrived on time and immediately started setting the arrangements. Her work was BEYOND anything I expected. Both me and my mom were simply BLOWN AWAY by how magical she made everything look. She went above and beyond with greenery and floral placements. My bouquet was exactly what I envisioned - I really felt like crying when I saw it!
If you have any doubts whatsoever, I hope this review helps you and you decide to work with Kelly! You will not regret it!
My only regret is that I was so busy the day of the wedding that I did not get to talk to Kelly some more in person! You are an incredibly sweet and kind soul, and a marvelous floral designer!

We hired Kelly with Lilac and Sage Studio for our New Year’s Eve wedding in Estes Park. Kelly was BY FAR the easiest, most trustworthy, and kindest vendor we worked with throughout one of the most stressful experiences of our lives. I had a very clear and particular vision of what I wanted my florals to look like, Kelly took that vision very seriously and brought my ideas to life! Kelly made sure that all my questions were answered in a timely manner and followed up with every question until she had all her answers as well. Nothing was unclear with what I wanted and what she was creating. I fully trusted her process and knew she was truly listening to me.
On our big day, while I was getting my hair and make-up done and our vendors were setting up for our reception, Kelly noticed that my mom was struggling with setting up the décor for the photo booth. I was told that Kelly walked right over to her and politely took creative control. She was under no contractual obligation to do so, that was just out of pure kindness. Those little details don’t go unnoticed on your wedding day…especially when you’re the stressed-out bride.
If you want a florist who is 100% on the same page as you and will have your back just like a friend on the biggest day of your life, Kelly is the one! There is not one SINGLE thing I would have changed about the way my florals looked on my wedding day. Everything was perfect!
