We highly recommend LightMaster Studios. They were very professional, easy to work with, and super responsive. We had two photographers for our wedding, Shawn and Antonette, and they were both fantastic. Our wedding was in January and during a snowstorm, so we were a little worried they'd cancel but they went above and beyond! Shawn even shoveled a path for us so we could take pictures in the snow. They were also so much fun to have. Our guests loved them. At one point Shawn was taking pictures of the dancing but also directing them on how to do the cupid shuffle. Not only were they super nice and fun but the pictures are beautiful. We can't say enough good things about them! -

Amazing Wedding Photography from Start to Finish!
What can I say about LightMaster Studios other than they are amazing. The provided excellent service during my October 2022 wedding. Carrie and Shawn took care of my every question, concern, and desire from start to finish. The questionnaire was thorough and Carrie called shortly after to discuss in detail my vision for my wedding. I had a rooftop wedding overlooking the Baltimore Harbor at sunset and the golden hour photos we took were of course my favorite ❤️! The level of professionalism from start to finish was superb and during the event I knew they were there but they were not obtrusive. This provided wonderful candid shots during our reception. Everything was so wonderful, I am trying to figure out what event I can plan next for them to come on shoot...thinking some family portraits. Thank you Shawn and Carrie! -

Our engagement photos are amazing!!
Shawn and Carrie did a fantastic job with our engagement photos and I can't wait to see how the wedding photos come out. Both of them were so wonderful and were able to explain the reasoning behind certain poses or angles when I was worried about looking silly. They were beyond patient and understanding and overall it was a wonderful experience. I would absolutely recommend choosing them as your photographer!

To anyone considering LightMaster Studios, just do it! The photographers went above and beyond to give us the most amazing pictures. One of them even laid in a puddle for an angle! I seriously cannot overstate how wonderful each person was to work with. Even the wedding guests commented afterwards how wonderful they were. Thank you all so so much for capturing our day ♡♡♡ -

We absolutely love working with LightMaster Studios. Working with Carrie and Shawn has taken SO much of the stress out of our wedding planning. They are both so positive, easy to talk to, full of helpful tips and suggestions, and always willing to work with your specific needs. I was having so much trouble figuring out which photographers to choose at first. We went through dozens and dozens of galleries trying to pick the best ones and just couldn't narrow it down. As soon as I spoke with Carrie over the phone, my decision was made. She made me feel so relaxed and confident that they would help me to capture the wedding of my dreams! As an extremely organized person that often has trouble handing the working-out-details role to someone else, Carrie was the first person I spoke to that I had complete faith in to get the job done just as I envisioned it! Our wedding day isn't for several months, but Shawn already completed a beautiful engagement session for us, and we are absolutely in love with the results! My fiance and I both feel a little awkward trying to pose for photos, but Shawn was absolutely amazing getting us to look natural and feel more at ease in front of the camera! I can't say enough good things about LightMaster. If you can't figure out who to book, look no further! -

Shawn, Carrie and LightMaster Studios are amazing! We used them both for our engagement shoot and wedding. The communication leading up to our shoots was phenomenal. On the days of the shoots, they helped us to relax and have a blast...not just go through the motions. We truly enjoyed ourselves and were sad when it ended. Most importantly, the product is incredible. The photos are breathtaking and we feel that our love really shines through on both the stills and the video. We would highly recommend Lightmaster! -

Lightmaster Studios is most definitely the way to go when booking a photographer for your wedding. Shawn and Carrie made booking so easy and not to mention they were very attentive when answering emails and questions. Shawn takes the most amazing pictures and captures the most beautiful moments and helps guide you. Our wedding pictures came out absolutely phenomenal and I am speechless to say the least. Working with shawn is like working with a family friend with the professionalism of doing his work. I am so grateful to have found lightmaster studios to capture the most important day of my life! Thank you so much Shawn and Carrie for everything! You guys are amazing and I cant wait to have a reason to work with you guys again! Carrie and Shawn at LightMaster Studios are much more than visionaries and artists--they're family! When you're searching for wedding photographers, you want to search for someone who makes magic, but you also want to search for someone who will make you and your guests feel comfortable! Carrie and Shawn at LightMaster Studios put my husband and I at ease from the start. They took the time to get to know and understand us before they shot our big day (twice), they never forced anything that didn't work, and they were as committed to our guests as we were.
To give you an example, on the day of our reception, I was busting out my corniest dance moves in the middle of the floor. I turned and peeked over my right shoulder and saw Shawn grooving out too, and he was taking shots as he was working his way through the dance floor. (We will not talk about the fact that his moves were better than mine). The pictures were stunning, and they've allowed us to revisit our day through the perspective of our guests. What our guests remember, however, is how fun and nonintrusive Shawn was. You can tell when someone loves what they do, and that is the case with Carrie and Shawn--always.
It's also worth noting that due to the pandemic, my husband and I had to postpone our reception. Carrie and Shawn worked with us with such grace, patience, and understanding. I never, for one moment, felt like "another business deal" to them as other vendors had made me feel. They kept frequent communication with us throughout the waiting period, and they often checked in, just to see how we were doing. It's these seemingly little touches that went a long way in terms of reassuring us.
When our reception day finally came--the first people I saw at the venue were Carrie and Shawn. To be honest, I focused not on what they were doing with their cameras. Instead I focused on their genuine support and excitement for us. That truly is part of the "LightMaster Magic". It's not just about angles and clicks. It's also about compassion, energy, and thoughtfulness. That's precisely why when we received our digital image portals, we noticed right away that what filled them were much more then pictures. LightMaster Studios captured our narrative and a dream--something we will truly treasure forever. -

I met Shawn many many years ago shooting head shots and he did such an awesome job that he did my engagement and wedding pics!! Him and his wife Carrie are awesome to shoot with, and make everyone (even picture haters) comfortable. The pictures are awesome, they are displayed throughout my house and recieve outside compliments on the daily! I would definitely recommend him and use him for all future photographer needs!!! -

Prefacing this by saying I do not have my photos back just yet but I know from what Shawn showed me on his camera that they are incredible. I booked Lightmaster Studios at the recommendation of my makeup artist who had worked with Shawn and Carrie multiple times before. I was planning my wedding that was taking place in Pennsylvania from where I live in North Carolina, and Carrie made the long distance planning a breeze! I really appreciated the variety of pricing packages that they had available so that we could find a package that suited our budget. I originally thought that because we lived out of state we'd have to forgo the engagement shoot that comes with the wedding packages but they made our pre-wedding meeting our shoot so we didn't miss out on that. I loved how Carrie was all about the logistics and making sure we were all on the same page about the order of events, the types of shots we wanted etc. Shawn is such an incredible artist with an amazing eye for details. He caught such amazing candid shots during our reception of of friends and family having fun. I can't wait for our final photos to come in but I already know from the little I have have that they will have exceeded my expectations for wedding photography. I absolutely would recommend booking Lightmaster studios for your big day. -

The team is responsive, professional, thoughtful and produce high quality products.
What makes the team unique is their ability to be present in the moment for you looking for ways to immortalize your special day. They are thoughtful and experienced and give great counsel for those of us who may be "less than desicive" about what you want.
I've used other photographers (cheaper or less experienced) for other events and my preference when investing in capturing life's precious moments will always be LightMaster Studios. -
