Light Sky Photography was recommended to me by our venue, and from the first photo we saw on their page we were instantly sold. We knew we didn’t want your typical wedding portraits that looked like everybody else’s. We wanted them to be different, artistic, unique and raw. Our ceremony was intimate and personal, so we wanted someone who could capture that so perfectly...and Erika did exactly that. We can’t begin to describe how happy we are to have gone with Light Sky. They were incredible to work with from start to finish. Responsive, accommodating, high vibe and full of energy. Erika made us feel comfortable and relaxed while she was shooting us. She knows what to say and just how to direct us in a way that allows her to capture our relationship and the realness of it. All I can say is you have to TRUST her process and enjoy every second of it. We got the photos last night and haven’t stopped looking at them since. I am seriously in awe of how much talent she has and her eye for detail. She has given us more than we could have ever asked for. We can now relive all the special moments of our big day just from looking through the photos. I will never book a “traditional photographer” or go for traditional portraits ever again...and you shouldn’t either. Don’t settle for average when you can have extraordinary with Light Sky. Absolutely amazing! Highly recommend
Erika is AMAZING! I found her via Google and loved the style of her photos so I decided to reach out and see if she was available to shoot our engagement photos. From the moment I reached out, Erika was so friendly and very easy to work with. My fiancé and I were a little nervous the day of, as we had never taken professional photos before but Erika made it almost effortless. She made us feel so comfortable and directed completely so all we needed to do was show up. We had so much fun during the shoot and couldn’t wait to see the photos, which we also received very quickly. Dream photographer couple!
Loved working with Erika and Loy to get that dark and moody style of photography. I am so impressed with how easy they made this process for everyone involved. We had so many laughs with them and they were super friendly and kind to all my guests (thanks Erika for letting my mom snap a pic with your camera!!). Amazing, magical, must hire!
WOW! I don't even know where to begin! Erika and Loy are absolutely amazing. From the beginning text through to reviewing our pictures after the wedding, the experience with Light Sky exceeded all of our expectations. From the first video call (all my COVID brides will understand), we fell in love with Erika's infectious personality. To say that our wedding photos are epic is an understatement! There aren't even words to describe how much Erika is a gem of talent. She goes above and beyond to make sure she captures moments that no one else could even think of. She has a way of bringing so much ease to the process and will go to great lengths to get the shot, even if it means climbing up high! A breath of fresh air
When I began my hunt for a photographer, I knew we needed someone who was not going to have us do the traditional robot poses. For starters, my hubby and I get very awkward with cameras and it tends to show in those types of photos. I also needed someone who was humble, & down to earth for my anxiety. When I came across Light Sky, Erika to be exact, I knew that she was who I wanted as our photographer. During our first meeting I fell in love with her energy, she is unique, uplifting, but also very humble. The day of she was a ball of humble energy, uplifting everyone while making sure we were comfortable which made the photos come out that much better! She would be in the background taking the best pictures and at times I would even forget that she was around! Which was perfect for my anxiety lol. Overall, Erika, Light Sky Photography, is the best effing photographer out there and we highly recommend her! I know I will definitely be using her again in the future for other events/photoshoots.

We had the pleasure of working with Loy. He was amazing! He was on time and very professional. My husband and I are a bit awkward and he helped us feel relaxed in front of the camera. We eloped in Florida and I’m so glad I came across this amazing team. Their style is natural but alternative. We just got our pictures back today and I cried while viewing them. simple, straight to the point, easy to work with, professional, amazing eye for photos, what more can I say? erika’s leadership and sweetness makes taking pictures feel so easy. if your shy and not used to getting your picture taken then this is the photographer for you! she takes charge so that you can enjoy the moment rather having to worry if your posing correctly, if your hubby is posing correctly or if your location is good or not. A really great time!
Erika was a dear to work with for our engagement pictures. She made my fiancé and I feel incredibility comfortable. She met us in West Palm where we live, at 2 spots she was not extremely familiar with. She ushered us around to beautiful spots she found around each of our shoot locations, having an eye for beauty. She was witty, provided great direction, and hyped us up. The pictures came out immaculate, and they were better than we could have ever imagined. I cannot say enough about the experience and our photos. Not only was she professional and lovely to work with, but she also delivered the photos in an extremely timely manner! Loy was fantastic!
My husband and I worked with Lightsky for our elopement photoshoot. We actually started the conversation talking about a small party, but as the situations of 2020 evolved, we had to pivot and find another meaningful way to tie the knot. With an ever-changing plan, the team at Light Sky were quick to respond and flexible, giving suggestions on what may work for what we were looking for. We ended up having the extreme pleasure of working with Loy for our session, just the three of us. He was kind, communicative, professional, and easy to be around. Dream team!
Erika and Loy were my cousin’s wedding photographers and as a bridesmaid I knew I had to hire them for my own wedding. My husband and I got married in February 2021 and we couldn’t have asked for a better team to capture our special day. Aside from the STUNNING pictures, they make the day so fun. It is so hard to relax with all of the nerves of the day and Erika did such a good job at allowing me to have fun through every moment. Our wedding ceremony ran late and our “picture location” didn’t go as planned. Even through the hiccups of the day she managed to use her creative juices to take the most stunning pictures at our hotel. We are so happy we made the decision to have Erika and Loy capture the memories from our wedding.

Erika and Loy are awesome! They traveled to Polk county for our reception and ceremony. My timeline did not go completely according to plan (hair & makeup took longer than expected), but Erika did not sweat it. She took photos of the guys while I finished getting ready. At the end of the night when she had to go, she made sure to get the last few shots that she needed before leaving. She helped put everyone in the bridal party at ease, with her energetic personality & creative ideas. Loy is great as well, capturing great photos right alongside Erika. First of all, if I could give more stars it'd be a 50/5!!!!!!! Erika and Loy completely outdid themselves. If you're currently planning a wedding, or starting to, you know how stressful it can be at times. Erika made this process a BREEZE. She took care of literally everything. I will admit I was hesitant to book them at first because my husband and I were getting married in a city they had not yet done a wedding - therefore, were unfamiliar with the venue and surrounding area. However when reviewing her portfolio, the quality and naturalness of her photos simply outdid every other. And thank God I went with that gut feeling because her and Loy captured pictures for us that have left me, my husband, family and friends speechless. These two are beyond talented and have such an eye for their profession. My husband and I will be using them for any and all future events to come! Not only are they experts at their jobs, but also fabulous Uber drivers ;) - they drove my husband and I around town for first look and bridal party pictures as well as to the ceremony and reception without hesitation!! You're making a huge mistake if you don't book them for your events!

A complete Dream!
Working with Erika was a complete dream! My husband and I never really took pictures together, and when we did they looked very posed and sometimes awkward. But we did our engagement shoot with Erika back in March 2019 and it was amazing how beautiful and natural those photos turned out! She makes you feel so comfortable and makes you laugh so much that all the photos reflect genuine happiness and love. We had our wedding about a week and a half ago and I cannot wait to see the pictures! She works great with kids too! My flower girl/goddaughter can be very camera shy, and she even got her to laugh and smile in the pictures. If you want natural, fun photos, Erika is your girl!!!!

Hiring Light Sky Photography was one of the best wedding decisions we made! Erika and Loy were a dream to work with, and our pictures exceeded all expectations we had.
My husband and I are both pretty awkward individuals who don't know how to act in pictures and are never happy with how we look in them. We did an engagement shoot about 6 months before the wedding, and within minutes Erika has us feeling comfortable and acting like ourselves. The pictures blew us away. It was the perfect "test run" so that we had one less thing to worry about on wedding day.
We got married on a ranch, and Erika and Loy were so creative in coming up with ideas for pictures, utilizing all the different scenery. They truly captured our personalities and everyone's emotions throughout the day perfectly. We included our two dogs in the wedding, and they were so good with them and got amazing pictures of them.
I love that they edit and sort all the pictures before sending them to you. And not just basic editing - Erika saved us when my husband's stepfather got a huge red stain on his shirt before pictures. Before we even had a chance to freak out, Erika just brushed it off - "Don't worry, I'll edit it out". You can't tell anything happened to his shirt in any of the pictures.
They were communicative, helpful, accommodating, flexible, and just fun people to work with. We look forward to hiring them again if we ever have any other photography needs in the future!

Literally no words for how amazing the photos came out! Through our whole process, from engagement to wedding day, Erika and Loy were engaging, gave needed direction (we're not the most extroverted couple) and were just plain fun to work with. Their chill energy, wish was a godsend on the day of with everyone else's, made us relax and just enjoy the day and shoot. Erika's creative eye is what drew us to them in the first place, and she did not disappoint. We wanted photos that spoke to who were are as a couple and she captured exactly that and more. Extremely reasonable on price and photos came sooner than expected. Nothing like local artists who know what looks good and will last in the years to come!

It's no secret that wedding planning can be tough! From managing multiple personalities, to selecting the right vendors, there's so much to navigate. The good news is, when you work with Light Sky, there is no fuss! Erika is so accommodating and easy going. I really appreciated her flexibility and how she gave me words of encouragement over email ahead of the big day. I knew I was in good hands with her, and when I saw the photos afterwards, they brought me SO MUCH JOY. I know we'll look back on them for years to come and smile. Choosing Light Sky Photography was, by far, one of the best decisions my husband and I made for our wedding. We knew we wanted to work with Erika the moment we glanced at the first few photos in her portfolio. Not only is her work gorgeous but her and Loy both exceeded every expectation we could have possibly had. She is kind, calm, and down to earth, which is what every bride needs on their wedding day. She kept us all laughing, which really helped me and my husband relax, and in the process she wound up fitting right in with the family. She's creative! and that was a huge factor when we had horrible weather on the big day. I was so worried about what we were going to do for our first look photos and she never even flinched. She came up with ideas I never would have thought of and still produced a huge variety of couples photos bad weather and all. I truly believe it takes a special kind of person to be able to do this work. Not just anyone can capture beautiful intimate photos that you can actually feel. Erika is such a person. We just received our photo package last week and there wasn't a dry eye in the room. Our wedding was the time of our lives that our friends and family continue to talk about!!!! The food was to die for, the room was spectacular, and Chrissie Sue was nothing short of a miracle worker. From start to finish she held our hands throughout the whole wedding process to make our dreams come to life! We were the first wedding in the newly renovated Revolution Ballroom and it is truly breathtaking. Every single detail of our wedding was flawless. Our guests told us how much they appreciated the flow of the wedding. From start to finish, everything was perfect. There was never any lag time to sit around and wait for the next thing to happen! Our ceremony flowed right into cocktail hour and kicked off right into our reception which flowed seamlessly everyone knowing exactly where to go and what to do! The food the food the food!!! The chef is AMAZING!!! I can't wait to go back for dinner just to eat the food again!!! The waitstaff and bartenders are so friendly and happy! We have not one complaint about our wedding! My experience with Erika was beyond all of my expectations. I was planning a September destination wedding in Deerfield Beach, all the way from Connecticut. What I loved most was how customizable and flexible Erika is. I was having a somwhat small untraditional celebration and did not need a normal wedding package other photographers offered, such as 4+ hours and everything else that made the services unaffordable. I let Erika know exactly what I needed and she absolutely made it work without a worry on my part. When I had questions Erika responded very quickly, as well. Now onto the photos... they were breathtaking! Being photographed can be awkward but Erika made my husband and I very comfortable and kept us laughing the whole time. She knows the area and can visualize the photo she wants before she takes it . While looking at our photos every next photo became our favorite. Then, Erika blew us away with the professionalism and creativeness of her photo delivery, from the little box it arrived in and business cards to the glass USB.
When you are working with Erika you are not just another number or contract, you are and feel like a special bride and your wedding is the only thing she is thinking about.

Erika and Phil have a great energy and are a lot of fun to work with. They are both lovely people who take a lot of pride in their work and you can tell they truly care about thier clients.
Erika was very responsive to our needs and her photo editing were top notch. She was also very accomidating for any editing requests we had and got our photos back in a timely manner.
Erika has a very bubbly personality that is fun to be around and Phil is equally as sweet. By the time your event is done they feel like old friends.
Erika and Phil are very professional and take direction well; the day of the event, you should come prepared with a list you can hand to your photographer, or a responsible member of your wedding party, of the different groups you want in each photo. This will help the photo session move quickly, especially if you have a large family/wedding party.

My whole family got together in Miami to surprise our mom for her 70th birthday. We wanted to get some family pictures because we’re so rarely all together. I found Erika online and we set everything up in advance of our going down to Miami. She was so easy to work with long distance and the shoot itself was great. Despite the challenging weather and fussy babies, Erika clearly worked some magic to get some shots the whole family was happy with! Erika has real talent behind the lens and the right personality to make you feel comfortable in front of it. If we lived closer, I would certainly call her again but, in lieu of that, I can only highly recommend her to other folks lucky enough to have her nearby!

Our photographer arrived at the church at the agreed time for our son's First Communion mass and was well equipped with high-end gear. She met with us and made us feel very comfortable especially our son. She immediately made wonderful suggestions so that we could take advantage of natural light. Erika was a God sent. She photographed my 3 day Hindu Indian wedding and captured every detail beautifully. Her attention for detail and unique perspective makes me smile each time I look at my photos. Erika is AMAZING! I was lucky enough to be referred to her by a mutual friend and from the moment I met her I knew she was the right person. Your pictures are going to be the only thing that you can physically remember after your special day and the person taking those pictures is just as important as the bride/groom. Erika far exceeded my expectations, her passion and talent was evident in the pictures she turned around. I wasn't your "normal" bride and she was able to handle it ALLLL. She delivered on everything I asked for and every guest complimented me that my photographer was awesome, from my makeup/hair person to my venue staff. Everyone was so happy to work with her. She has an amazing talent and I can't wait (to find a reason) to use her again!!

From the moment that my fiancé and I walked into the lobby and met Chrissie Sue LaMotte, I knew that we had to have my wedding here. Chrissie Sue was an absolute pleasure and professional to work with from start to finish. I didn't worry about a single thing during the entire planning period....she had it all covered and then some. I would be more than happy to talk to anyone considering having their wedding here with Chrissie Sue. You will absolutely not be disappointed with her or the venue!!!

Erika was fantastic! She did such a wonderful job at my son’s first birthday party. We will definitely use her again! Everyone knows that children are not easy to shoot photos of but with her patience and wonderful demeanor Erika nailed it. She got us our copies of the photos in just over a week and we couldn’t be happier! Thank you Erika for capturing every special during the party…… until next time!!!

Erika was Fantastic, she was so cool and easy to be around. I would do it again in a heartbeat, I love the photos, she captured exactly what I hoped for. Erica was a very good photographer. She was patient throughout the wedding and listened to what I wanted. She knew how to pose everyone. She edited the photos quickly and we had them back within a few weeks. Overall I am very happy with her work and professionalism.
