    My wedding reception was a big success thanks to the Villa staff most especially Nikki who I was working with most of the time. She is responsive to all my emails and inquiries. She is easy to work with. The venue is classy and elegant. The decors were beautiful. The food is excellent. Definitely, better value than a hotel.

    In terms of wedding planning, Lifetime Events know their stuff! Nikki is such a professional and she always looks after the client's needs and willing to work within our needs and budget!

    We did a lot of DIY stuff and somehow they were able to incorporate it well with the decors! The Lifetime Events and the Villa know their stuff! :) Highly Recommended!!!

    This review for Lifetime Weddings is long overdue!! My husband and I had our reception for 280 people at the Lifetime Wedding's main site, the Villa and cannot imagine anywhere else having our reception. Everyone is still raving about the delicious food catered by Furiwa (their house caterer). 3 months later, they are still raving about the food and everything about the wedding!! Since there was a capacity at their indoor reception area, Nikki suggested that we check out the Japanese Garden at CSULB which was the most gorgeous outdoor venue for the number of people we had! Even though we lived in San Francisco and most of our correspondence was via email or phone with very few in person meetings, Nikki and Liz made sure to communicate with us and were very professional. A wedding can be quite stressful, but Nikki and Liz were super patient and their calming nature made us feel like everything was going to be okay. The day of the wedding, it went seamlessly, Nikki, Liz and the assistants all made sure we all knew what was happening at what time and made sure everything went off with a hitch. I give Lifetime Weddings my highest recommendation and promise you that you will not be disappointed. Your guests will continue talking about how amazing your wedding was because of them!

    WOW is all I can say about The Villa. Not only is the venue beautiful but the staff there is beyond amazing. My original venue had a fire accident so with only a few months left, The Villa were able to squeeze me in. Considering the short amount of time they had, Liz Chan was on it! She is professional and passionate about what she does and I believe her results truly shows it. There was a lot of wedding coordinators that I talked to but the reason I went with The Villa is because of Liz. She made the whole experience enjoyable and fun. To top it off, I live out of state and she was patient took the time to work with my bridesmaid to make this wedding happen. She also worked with my picky mother on picking out a menu. Even my mother enjoyed Liz's company and she was thoroughly satisfied with the menu selection. Liz has a great sense style and knew what would look fabulous on my wedding day. My family and friends was raving about the venue, food, and of course all the staff at The Villa. I have absolutely NO complaints about working with Liz and the rest of the gang at The Villa.

    Nikki was there for us from beginning of our planning up to end of our wedding day. I changed my minds so many times regarding our centerpieces but Nikki was able to accommodate my requests. Nikki did a fantastic job with florals and decors for our ceremony, registration area, and reception ballroom including a dessert bar. She came up with many unique ideas, making our wedding stand out from others.

    Nikki was always available to help with anything in our wedding. She did more than being our florist. She provided linens to match our decors, created our beautiful dessert bar, and designed our reception layouts. I trusted her tastes and went with most of her recommendations. Many details I left it for Nikki to decide. In the end, I'm super happy with her services.

    Me and my wife used Lifetime for wedding decor/floral and Furiwa for their catering. We got married at the Wyndham Garden Grove because they were one of the few hotels that allowed outside catering. Nikki and Stacie were incredibly helpful with every step of the way. They knew all the different vendors you'd need for a wedding so it made planning a wedding very easy. It was almost like Stacie and Nikki were our personal planners. We got so many compliments about the decor of the venue and a bunch of our friends told us that Furiwa's food was the best wedding food they have ever had. We couldn't be happier with them and have already recommended them to two other couples we know that recently got engaged.

    Nikki was so wonderful during whole this wedding process! she really was honest and told my fiancé and I the best way to go about decorating for our wedding. Everything was up front she told us what we could cut out and what would be necessary. The day of my wedding, the reception room was so beautiful I could tell she really took her time and even added more things just to make it perfect! I constantly recommend her and lifetime events to all of my friends and family!! she made all the difference!

    Liz was awesome! From the day I met her I knew I wanted to work with her because she wanted my day to be just that! My day! The malt important part of planning my wedding was staying within my budget but still having the best wedding and Liz allowed that to happen. She was quick to reply to emails and I literally could ask her anything and she would answer no question was a dumb question. The decor of the wedding was exactly what I wanted it to be when my husband and I got there. I had the best wedding thank you Liz and all the crew!

    Lifetime weddings made weddings look so easy and fun like it should be, my wedding was perfect. Planning a wedding all the way from Alaska to California I thought I was going to die, everyone thought I was crazy! I only meet with Liz (most amazing wedding coordinater ever) three times. To book/look at the venue touch base in August to say hi & days before my wedding. Liz was amazing, I would have mini panic attack because this is my first wedding hopefully only lol and I would email her she would always know what to say to fix it and keep me calm all the way in Alaska! Crazy right so you have to book through lifetime weddings! If you want an amazing g stress free wedding!! Smiles all throughout the night!!

    Our wedding was yesterday. It wasn't perfect. It was better than perfect. Words fail me. My then fiance (now wife) had a very specific vision for how she wanted things to look. She literally had envisioned every tiny detail. The staff at Lifetime and The Villa made our dream wedding a reality. When we first started working with them nearly 1 year before the big day, we were up front that we were on firm budget. There was no pressure and they worked with us to come up with a custom proposal to get us what we wanted for a good price. We mainly worked with Liz, and she was really a pleasure to deal with. My wife probably sent her 300 emails over the course of a year. Liz was always responsive and never lost her patience. We had a lot of questions, and she had answers. We worked with Nikki more on the design side of things and she was also awesome. Everything came out in my wife's words 'exactly like I dreamed'. We are talking about a person who has been staying up until 2 or 3 AM several nights a week working on and planning this, so to feel strongly enough to say this was better then perfect should tell you something.

    When the big day finally came , Liz and Nikki kept things organized and moving, and always made sure we were taken care of in the midst of all of the activity.

    We received a number of compliments from friends and family such as 'best wedding food ever', 'most beautiful wedding I have ever been'. I could go on and on, but I think I made my point. I can't recommend these folks highly enough. Thanks Liz and Nikki!

    We had our wedding here on 8/9/14 and it was such a great time!

    We initially were leaning toward Pacific Palms but picked this place because it fits up to 300 guests and had Asian catering, which was great in our situation and the price was cheaper than Pacific Palms.

    Liz Chan was our coordinator and it was just a pleasure working with her. This is coming from a guy's perspective too. I always dreaded running errands for the wedding and getting dragged by the wife to look at things, but Liz made it easy when we came by to discuss details of the day. Plus she was always available through email so we always had constant communication with her. What made it convenient was that alot of things we needed (chairs, linen, flowers, etc) is done in house so you don't have to worry about trying to find all these things ourselves and the prices were fair. We also had a choreographed first dance and they allowed us to practice there many times when there wasn't an event going on during business hours. We just felt as ease knowing that we picked the right venue for our special day.

    The day of couldn't have gone more smoothly. There was no hiccups of any sort and everyone was raving about the food. I mean you can't go wrong with chinese food, and with the amount of food, who wouldn't be satisfied? We had our cocktail hour in the optional open space inside the Villa and it was just decorated to our specifications and it was a lot of room for our guests (and we had 250 guests!) and a lot of people were complimenting on how nice the decor was. The ballroom itself where we had the reception was great as well. The lighting, the decorations, everything was just on point!
    Drinks were flowing, music was bumpin, and everyone had a great time!
    All in all, a great day for me and the bride!

    I would recommend this venue to anyone!

    Ms. Liz Chan was an exceptional Day Coordinator and Planner at our May 2014 wedding at the Marriott Bayview Newport Beach. She was fast on her feet, very prepared for the job. She made critical announcements throughout our wedding such as family names for recognition and the Grand Entrance, cake cutting, etc. She also set our name cards as well as our luncheon reception table cards. Ms. Chan has been in the wedding business for over 10 years and is very well qualified to do the job. We are very happy with her service at our Wedding. We definitely needed someone who knew the big picture and overall management / coordination for our Wedding. We could not have done it without her because the DJ and Emcee whom we hired at Level Weddings & Events Inc. did not show up for the contracted job. We were not prepared for our DJ not to show up.

    Liz was awesome! Best coordinator I could ever ask for. The venue was beautiful. She saved me by helping me find Robert our DJ (Hilo Productions). She was super patient and super helpful. I was stress free that night and enjoyed myself. She helped set up our tables since I had made my own table numbers and placed my signature table with decorations we left. We had not given her direction on how to set it up and she did beautifully. She worked with us on the menu. The food was fabulous. My guests loved the food. Although I didn't get to eat much of it.. I'm happy that all my friends and family got to enjoy the food. She contacted me from beginning to end and reminded of us of things we wouldn't have thought of. That night she guided us through and reminded us to take pictures in the photobooth otherwise we wouldn't have totally forgotten. They let us take pictures throughout the venue and they pictures were gorgeous. I loved it. 

    Liz was the best The Villa could offer!!!
    Venue was gorgoeus!!
    Food was delicious!

    I have to say that Nikki Tran at Lifetime Weddings was awesome. Without her, I don't know what I would have done for the wedding. I felt like I had my own personal wedding planner and that i was her only client since she not only helped me with the venue, but she gave me great guidance, advice, and help with all my wedding questions. The best part was that day of the event, she was there the entire time and she helped our wedding go without a problem. She made me be a stress free bride and i was able to enjoy every minute of my event since she took care of EVERYTHING!!!

    Stacie was our wedding reception coordinator and she was on top of EVERYTHING! She helped with everything and anything. She helped calm me down during the chaos at the beginning and took charge of everything. She's been in the wedding business for a very long time and you can definitely trust her judgement and intuition. She's there to help and make your life stress-free from wedding hiccups. It was all smooth sailing on our wedding day thanks to Stacie.

    Lifetime Events did such a great job with the flowers for our wedding. We did not have a clear vision of what we wanted at all and Nikki was so patient with us as we pieced everything together. She was able to help us make decisions and assist us in making the best choices to stretch our budget just a little further. Our guests all made comments on how amazing the flowers were as well!! They were simple, elegant and modern and we couldn't have asked for better flowers. We met with a few other florists before making a decision to move forward with them. While they were very slightly more expensive, it was all worth it. It showed in their product and service. They know what they're doing!! One word of advice, if you are trying to save some money and decide to do some flowers on your own, DON'T!! Certain things are ok to take on. However, let them do what they're good at. Whatever you think you are going to save, it's not worth the stress! My poor Dad was tasked with running around and getting some flowers to the ceremony site. He was so stressed that he started the morning with a shot of cognac to calm his nerves! :) I would recommend them completely and hope you consider them too!!

    Nikki and her team at Lifetime worked closely with me to make sure that I had the wedding of my dreams. It was easy to get in contact with her, make appointments, and discuss ideas that helped me turn my random ideas into reality. She had great advice on everything from scheduling of the event to pictures to flowers and more. Her vast experience really makes her an expert and I was so happy to know that my special day was safe in her hands. Everyone commented that it looked like a fairy tale wedding with all the beautiful flower arrangements, and my bouquet (and bridesmaids' boquets) looked like something out of a bridal magazine - just perfect! I would highly recommend Lifetime to anyone planning their wedding!

    Nikki was my event coordinator and she was very responsive and helpful during the entire process. My husband and I were both out of state so it was even more important that we had a coordinator we could rely on and Nikki was it! Everything looked beautiful the day of the wedding and Nikki was there the whole time to ensure everything run smoothly. Definitely would recommend Nikki !

    I know my review is pretty long, but thinking of when I was a bride and reading reviews, the most helpful were the ones that actually gave details and information to support their opinion. For me, a review that says “This person is great!” doesn’t help anything!
    “Don’t judge a book by its cover”, I say, with wedding decorations, it’s all about the visual impact. Don’t be so quick to judge by the price tag either. It’s easy to be overwhelmed and focus on just a dollar amount, but it’s absolutely true, “you get what you pay for.” When it comes to your wedding decorations, those extra touches makes all the difference in creating the ambience you’ve always dreamed about. Lifetime’s wedding décor is everything their pictures showcase and so much more. I had plenty of friends with many suggestions for different wedding vendors and the “best deals” around. Luckily, we kept our appointment with Nikki from Lifetime. When we first met her, we knew wedding planning would be fun and she is someone we wanted to work with. My husband (then fiancée) actually enjoyed coming to the meetings with me! Now that it’s all said and done, I can confidently boast she is fabulous and surpassed our expectations. Nikki and her team handled every detail, big to small. She has a great eye for creating the perfect event, with tons of ideas so your event will be unique to you and your future spouse.
    On the day of the event, my husband and I were blown away by the decorations; everything tied in so well together. Our guests were speechless. From my parents’ older friends to all of our co-workers and friends, the great compliments kept on coming.
    The quality is absolutely apparent:
    - The flowers were full, beautiful and lasted all day;
    - The linens and drapes were clean and properly steamed
    - The centerpieces were gorgeous and exactly as we discussed (no skimping!)
    - The cake table and presidential table decorations were beyond anything we could have even imagined.
    Leading up to the event, Nikki is attentive and provides excellent customer service. At the church rehearsal, our priest requested a few changes in the floral decorations. I called Nikki that night apologizing for the last minute changes and she immediately said “don’t worry. I’ll take care of it. I will drop them off personally tomorrow morning at your house” and that was it.
    I LOVE and can’t say enough good things about Nikki and Lifetime mainly because the results speak for themselves, we had so much fun working together, and it was just EASY. Yes, you may get some “deals” elsewhere, but that involves a grab bag of mix-and-match vendors and the stress and work of coordinating things hoping it will all match and arrive on time. My day was seamless and the decorations were flawless, thanks to Nikki. Eventhough on paper it may seem like we “overpaid,” we would disagree. You can’t put a price tag on creating the perfect feel of the event, the emotions we experienced walking in for the first time, and most importantly, peace of mind knowing EVERYTHING floor to ceiling (literally) would be taken care of properly. Nikki and Lifetime bring the VALUE.

    My wedding coordinator worked with Lifetime at another wedding and when I saw their bouquets and center pieces, I was in love. I worked with Nikki on the what I wanted for my bouquets and my bridesmaids' bouquets and they turned out even better than I had imagined. I also brought in a sketch of what I wanted my arch to look like and they made it look exactly how I had envisioned it. I was so happy with how everything turned out!

    Beautiful venue in Orange County! Nikki was awesome at helping us cordinate all the details for our wedding reception. Friendly and helpful staff, had everything under control the day of the wedding. We are very glad we choose The Villa as our venue. It was perfect!

    Nikki was amazing! She was easy to work with and worked with my budget for the centerpiece flowers. She was such a great help the day of my wedding and helped me stay on time and made sure everything was running smoothly! They even packed up the props I brought and kept it in the back room for me to pick up later!

    She made sure I was ok through out the entire wedding planning and answered any phone calls and emails I had regarding the wedding. She was awesome!! I couldn't ask for a better event planner!

    Thank you for everything you've done. The wedding was beyond my imagination and expectations, compliments are endless. Girlfriends that aren't even engaged yet want your info for future reference! :) The ceremony and reception looked and felt magical. Being the anal person that I am, I really appreciation your attention to detail and all the effort you put into satisfying my preferences. I can't wait to see everything in photos and videos.

    We have nothing but good things to say about lifetime weddings and events. We booked 2 years in advance and never felt any pressure or stress when it came down the wire. Our venue was The Villa which is part of lifetime and it truly is a hidden gem. Our coordinator was Nikki and she is awesome. The food is really good and is catered from Furiwa. We had our dream wedding thanks to Lifetime Weddings and Events. We recommend this place to anyone and at the end you get what you pay for.

    We had our wedding at The Villa in Westminster which is run by Lifetime Weddings & Events. If you are looking for a venue that is beautiful inside and out and that offers great food and service, this is the place for you. I feel like we hardly had to spend extra money on upgrades for decorating because the venue is already so beautiful. They have gorgeous chandeliers and high ceilings and a beautiful foyer and cocktail/patio area. Our parents are very picky on food but they were happy with the food here and it is very hard to please our parents who all know how to cook really well! Our coordinator who helped us was Nikki and she was awesome. She gave us really good tips and helped us out so much. She really made me feel more calm when I started to stress out. We had a lot of compliments on our wedding, everyone said the venue was beautiful and food was good. Another great thing is that Nikki was there coordinating the whole reception so everything was organized and went smoothly! She makes a whole timeline and schedule for the evening and sticks to it. This made it easier for me and my groom and our parents to just relax and have fun. I would highly recommend!

    They are a planning event service but also have a Venue that you can rent. (The Villa in Westminster).I used both!!! Great service, beautiful decorations, ask or Nikki she is great!!!!

    Looking for a venue was so stressful to even go through them online. When my friend suggested to take a look at the Villa, I was a bit skeptical because of the pricing and location. However, Chris (fiance at the time) suggested we go ahead and take a look at the venue ourselves and get a taste and feel on what we think. We were sold with the pictures and services. Nikki was so helpful and very patient with us...Primarily me (bride). When it came to budget, she made sure the price range fit our needs. From planning to the DAY of our wedding, everything went great. Everyone at the Villa made this night memorable and I will never forget it. Thank you Nikki, Liz, and everyone else who took your time and effort to make sure everything was running smoothly.

    We had such a blast!!! It was soo much fun!!! Liz & the staff were sooo awesome!!! Liz & Nikki did such an amazing job with the decoration and setting up. They did exactly what we wanted and much more! They not only did an awesome job with decorating, but with coordinating as well, and always there when we needed some things, big or small, we can always count on Liz. Soo glad we had our wedding at the Villa!!! Such a great team and we received endless compliments for the venue, the decoration, and especially the food etc...I can go on and on. The best venue EVER!!!

    We were blown away by what Nikki and Lifetime brought to our Wedding. I am a very detailed and picky person (so is my Wife) but when I first walked in and saw the décor & set up, we were speechless. Nikki took our vision and drove it to a level we did not expect, to our pleasant surprise. We are very happy with the services that Lifetime provided: from the point of concept all the way through execution. Could not have been any happier! Thank you so much, Nikki & Lifetime!

    My wife and I had our wedding here in April 2012, so we're an actual groom and bride (not employees or affiliated). We had a good experience here, and don't regret our decision.

    PRICING:

    By minimum food and beverage requirement, and based on day and season- so call. I think ours was $8000 minimum for a Sunday, off season.

    VENDORS:

    It's a pro in that you can get most of the food, bar, and decoration (up-lighting, chairs, flowers, linen, etc.) done at once. The con, is obviously the price...however, their pricing isn't too bad (we've researched). The Villa is comparable for some things, and slightly more for others.

    DECOR:

    The Villa has chiavari chairs (gold) included in the package for free :-). Booking a hotel, or renting them for a restaurant through event rentals will cost about $4-7 a chair.

    Up-lighting through The Villa is pretty average, unlike what other reviewers have mentioned. It was about $20 per light, which is comparable to how much most DJ's charge to do up-lighting. We got quoted $18-25 from most DJ's so $20 from the Villa is pretty reasonable. 20 up-light fixtures will fill the reception room, though we did 15 to keep costs down, and it worked out well.

    Flowers would probably be one of the more expensive things to rent through The Villa, but again, on the price range of an expensive flower shop. They included table centerpieces and a flower arrangement (at stairs/banister table). The only thing we paid extra for were the sweetheart table flowers (3 @ $50 each), and the manzanilla trees (2 @ $150 each- used for thank you photos, then moved to decorate cake area).

    Linens cost on the higher end as well. They included white linens but we paid extra to change to a colored one (chocolate). It was about $15 per table linen. Renting from an event rental place would cost around $8-15 ($8= no pattern). At least for $15, you get to chose the color and pattern that you want. We had about 3 patterns to choose from, for our color.

    Draping adds to cost as well, but we didn't care for draping, so don't remember the cost. There is no draping included besides the sheer white curtain that divides the waiting/bar room from the reception. The Villa looks nice without drapes anyway, in my opinion.

    We rented a projector, and screen for $300, which also included set up and running it. The reviewer that expected it for free expected too much, because most places charge for that, or don't have it available. You can rent from your DJ at a little cheaper, but ours didn't have one.

    Other smaller decorations are up to you. We brought in a fake cherry blossom tree, a wedding sign, photo frames, table numbers and other little things, which they helped set up for us.

    FOOD:

    The food is the standard Vietnamese wedding food or American (if not catered by Furiwa). We had Vietnamese and our Vietnamese guests didn't complain, and our non-Vietnamese ones enjoyed their food.

    The cost of the food is on the higher end, but we expected that. The most important thing about the food here, is that it is Vietnamese wedding food, served in a non-tacky, non-outdated, and modern venue. Sure it's cheaper at Seafood ___ blah blah, but look at those places!

    DRINKS:

    We did a set amount in advance which lasted until 2nd meal w/ option to pay more the day of...cheapest route for us.

    COORDINATING:

    We had an awesome coordinator: Liz! It's kind of a luck of the draw, on who you get as your coordinator, so you might not have the same experience. She worked well with us, very friendly and professional. We just told her what we wanted, and she got us quotes (know what you want coming in). Communication, and day of coordination was great, and time-managed well (wayyyy better compared to our 1st wedding- we had 2).

    OTHER NON-TACKY PLACES, to consider for Vietnamese Wedding food in OC:

    Royal - grand looking, but too big and old style grand (not our taste)

    S Vietnamese - very modern, but smaller, less grand and food is served family style but per person (single item per person). Food is more modern Vietnamese (we liked but parents didn't).

    Mon Cheri- nice, and modern, but less grand. Cost only slightly less than Villa.

    Hotel Room with Vietnamese catering - Very Costly. You can get the same look from the Villa, at less cost (decor included).

    CONCLUSION:

    This place is pretty cookie-cutter, but Modern American style cookie-cutter...not Vietnamese style cookie cutter...which we preferred. There's very few places that serve Vietnamese food that look as good as The Villa, and the pricing reflects that.

    You need to go in understanding you're using a whole event company, not just a restaurant, to be happy with their service.
    Definitely worth it if you're looking for a step above the standard Vietnamese place, and less costly than a hotel.

    Again I'd ONLY recommend if you want a Vietnamese style reception. Especially for Viet couples or mixed couples with non-Viet guests. 200 guests or less (to be comfy).

    Our wedding was amazing and better than I could have hoped for with Nikki as our wedding coordinator. This all in one service with a one stop shop for all the wedding venues was perfection for us. Nikki was able to work with our busy schedule and appointments made through emails were answered in a timely fashion. Nikki was very accommodating when it came to our day especially staying within budget. Fining out the details of the schedule was effortlessly with Nikki. The wedding day was memorable and our family and friends were amazed with all the great details the reception had (esp. candy/dessert station). My cousin said it was the best wedding food he ever had. Overall, we were extremely satisfied having our special day at the Villa. Thank you to the professional staff especially Nikki’s assistant that day. Hope to work with the Villa for other events soon.

    We had our wedding a few weeks ago at The Villa and we could not have been happier with how everything turned out! Our coordinator was Liz Chan, and she was by far the most instrumental and invaluable part of The Villa. It was so easy to reach her, with email replies within minutes, not even hours. She was personable, genuine, and really became someone we considered a friend. She worked with us to help us find ways to adhere to our budget and she suggested places we could go to buy wedding supplies at a discounted rate. Liz was also very organized, having a minute-by-minute schedule of the reception night ready for us well in advance so we could coordinate with our other venues. On the night of, she checked in on us every few minute to see if we needed anything, which meant the world to us.

    The venue itself was always somewhere we wanted to have our wedding. It was beautiful inside, with chandeliers, an intimate fireplace, and plenty of seating for our guest list of 300. My husband and I knew we wanted Furiwa food for our wedding, but we also knew we didn't want to use their restaurant as our venue nor did we want to go to a hotel and have them cater. The Villa was the perfect medium. The food never disappointed as there was nothing left over at the end of the night. We splurged and had an open bar for the entire night, which of course got rave reviews from everyone. I recommend you also buy 10 or 15 bottles of cognac to bring in, as we did, and just pay the small corkage fee of $10. We believe this saved us from ever having to go to a cash bar because many of our older, Vietnamese male guests enjoyed the typical cognac.

    At first, we weren't going to rent the cocktail room because we didn't think most of our guests would show up in time to enjoy the room, as is typical with Asian guests. However, Liz and The Villa worked with our budget and we ended up renting the cocktail room after all. And we were SO thankful we did because ALL of our guests showed up on time for cocktail hour (we think it was because they were unfamiliar with The Villa and therefore showed up earlier than usual) and they all had an amazing time! We were very impressed by the passed hor d'oeuvres during the cocktail hour, which looked better than just having them set down in a corner for our guests to get themselves. Additionally, The Villa also gave us complimentary valet parking for our guests, adding to the feeling of luxury.

    To sum it all up, yes, The Villa is more expensive than your typical Chinese seafood restaurant. If we wanted a low-ceiling restaurant with phoenixes and dragons on the way, then we would have never invested in The Villa. However, we wanted a beautiful venue with amazing food and we couldn't have been happier with our choice of The Villa!

    My experience with Nikki and Liz was fantastic! I mostly worked with Nikki for booking and planning while Liz helped with coordinating on our wedding day. Nikki was always responsive to my calls and email and available to meet whenever we needed to. She needed minimal guidance in what we had wanted, I felt that she knew my style after I briefly explained it to her. As for decoration and setup, we walked her through once and she amazingly remembered where everything should go without writing anything down! She's amazing! On the day of our wedding, I was completely WOWed by how beautiful the space turned out to be. It was better than what I had envisioned and that made me so happy! The centerpieces were exactly what I had wanted and our DIY decorations were right where we wanted them. They even surprised us with a bottle of champagne for us to pop after we had cut our cake! Nikki and Liz were also awesome at staying on top of our timeline and making sure everything ran smoothly. I'm so thankful they took care of it all so I was able to enjoy my wedding day without being a stressed out bride!

    This venue is spacious with plenty of parking and a courtyard for guests to hang out during cocktail hours. The inside decor is awesome with a vintage feel. Emily, our coordinator, is an amazing person who worked well with all of our vendors and made our wedding as smooth as anyone can hope for. She has a very calm demeanor and is genuinely interested in making your special day the best day of your life. She was the first person who greeted us when we walked in to the Villa the first time and the last person to say goodbye and send us off at our car on our wedding night. Beside from the incredible coordinator that you get from booking at the Villa, the menu is great and the food is delicious. They give out big portions for the house special lobster and, without trying to exaggerate, my families and my guests all agree that they have not had better lobster elsewhere. The food is catered by Furiwa restaurant, which has a great reputation themselves and they do cook the food on site so it's still hot when served. Decorations have to be done in house or through an approved vendor - this is one of the few drawbacks I can think of. The pricing on the decorations are pretty high but you can negotiate a bit with them. All in all, we had a great experience here and would definitely recommend any of our friends and families to hold their event here. It's definitely not one of the cheapest venues to hold an event at but it's not as expensive as renting a hotel banquet hall either. The thing that attracted us to the Villa is its classy look and architecture, its caterer (trust Furiwa to wow your guests with their delicious food) and its amazing coordinator (that would be Emily).

    OVERALL SATISFACTION: (FIVE STARS)

    We recently held our wedding reception at the Villa on New Year's Eve. My wife and I are extremely satisfied with the venue. We highly recommend the Villa and appreciate John and Liz's as coordinators.

    QUALITY OF SERVICE: (FOUR STARS)

    The service was excellent. John was our main coordinator, so for over a year on our wedding, we worked with him. Liz came in about one month before the wedding to assist John and was there on the night of the wedding. She was extremely helpful. She has a relaxed style that helps you calm down, but at the same time she is task-oriented, knowledgeable, and proficient at what she does.

    John was especially accommodating and assisted us in planning out just about everything we wanted. He is easy to work with and each time we met him we felt less stressed about the wedding because we were in good hands.
    The only thing I would complain about was there during the reception there were a few small details that we spoke about that didn't go according to plans. It was small as in the placement of the reception table and the canvas. We didn't say anything because on your wedding day, you don't even want to bother with those things and just tried to enjoy. Other than that, the hundreds of other details and requests were honored and carried off beautifully. By booking The Villa, you not only have a venue, but you have two reception coordinators too. Often at a restaurant or hotel, this is not the case. You have to either book your own coordinator or rely on your MC/Band to run the night.

    RESPONSIVENESS: (FOUR STARS)

    If you want a quick response, call John instead of email. John and my wife had to play phone tag for a few days, but eventually he always eventually responds to our concern or question.

    PROFESSIONALISM: (FIVE STARS)

    Everyone we encountered at The Villa was professional. Professionalism not only involves getting the job done, but doing it with a mutual courtesy and respect.

    VALUE: (FIVE STARS)

    The Villa's pricing is in the middle. It is more expensive than traditional Chinese restaurants, but less expensive than hosting your reception at a hotel. We're glad we paid a little bit more because we got what we paid for -- a gorgeous intimate yet roomy venue which included chivalry chairs, high ceilings, long drapes, grand chandelier, and two reception coordinators.


    FLEXIBILITY: (FIVE STARS)

    Before booking this venue, we read the yelp reviews and the major criticism was flexibility. We had to think twice about booking, but decided to take the risk. After working with John, we were pleasantly surprised because he was extremely flexible. We had a budget and John tried really hard to help us stay within budget. Many of the more restrictive policies from two or three years ago have changed.

    Although it's a business, I had a sense that he genuinely cared that we were happy on our wedding day; agreeable and pleasant to work with.

    We had our wedding at The Villa in Westminster with food catered by Furiwa (which owns The Villa). We had the reception, decor and planning by Lifetime Wedding. We had a little bump initially with the quote and pricing but everything turn out beautiful and perfect at the end! The venue was elegant and romantic with beautiful chandeliers, high ceilings, flowing drapes and curtains. The centerpieces were amazing and full of flowers. The staffs was willing to listen, make recommendations and were responsive to last minute changes. On the day of the reception everything went smoothly and we were able to thoroughly enjoy our wedding which was what I hoped! I am a perfectionist and I expect vendors to deliver on what they promise if I spend a good money for it. Lifetime wedding did that and more! All the guests enjoyed the food, open bar and raved about how everything looked beautiful. I would have my wedding here again!

    Our wedding took place at the Villa in Westminster, CA with over 250 guests. The facility was perfect for this type of occasion. Guests are still raving about the delicious asian style banquet meal and the beauty of the Spanish style building.

    Nikki and Liz checked in with me and my husband to make sure that everything would go smoothly during the reception. Melissa did a great job with the table decorations that I gave her. She was kind enough to place my flower bouquets in the refrigerator while I was getting ready to take pictures with my wedding party at the facility.

    I just had the most amazing wedding ever and I owe it all the Nikki and the Lifetime Wedding & Events crew. If you're looking for an event planning/decor company for your wedding this is the place to go. They have such creative idea and pay attention to all the details that you may not think of. It was worth every penny!!! We read all their reviews and how some people feel that they are over-priced but I'd rather pay extra and have everything be perfect and amazing than pay less and have mediocre. They gave me a fairy tale and would do it all again in a heart beat.

    People walked away amazed and we don't regret anything. My husband's family are all restaurant owners and chefs and everyone complimented on how god the food was.     My husband and I chose Lifetime Weddings for our floral/decor, photography, and wedding gowns. It made our lives so much easier to deal with one vendor throughout the whole process. Everything that they guaranteed was provided if not more. They were able to produce what I envision my wedding would be. We also purchased my bridal gown and bridesmaids gown through them. Their service was prompt and impeccable.

    we used Lifetime Weddings for our flowers and they did a wonderful job w/ the centerpieces and my personal flowers. everything was smooth working w/ Nikki Tran. However, on set up day, there was one centerpiece that didn't have any floating candles on it, my husband asked the flower set up person why there aren't any candles in this particular piece and the response was they didn't have any candles left so it was left like that. my wedding coordinator had to go search for floating candles to make it less awkward. My husband was not happy w/ this since we invested so much in our wedding decor and he only wanted to get what he paid for.

    Lifetime Wedding and Events has a big selection on wedding dresses and is very helpful in making you feel comfortable when deciding on that special dress. They also helped me find very nice bridesmaid's dresses.

    Beautiful, affordable, and convenient

    We chose Lifetime for several reasons: the location was very convenient for our guests, they have all inclusive packages (less headaches to have to search for individual vendors), the interior is very spacious and beautiful as is, and there were many pricing options. All in all, our wedding was just perfect. Lifetime executed everything we had asked for. We did not have any hiccups and their coordinators were very professional and experienced, which helped made the entire evening run smoothly and on time. The only complaint was having to go through all their vendors, so pricing was determined by them.

    The banquet hall was very nice and great ambiance. The flowers they used in the decor for the sweetheart table, centerpieces and entrance hall were all fresh and gorgeous. The dates book fast so you have to plan way ahead of time. Saturdays go fast but Sundays are usually flexible. Mai was my coordinator and she was very helpful through the whole decorating process and very patient with me. All in all, I would recommend them for your next event.

    I loved my dress. But, because I planned my wedding in three weeks, I had to buy my dress of the rack. I searched for the smallest size at various dress stores. I finally called lifetime and the smallest they had was a size 10. I bought it and had to get it altered. You can talk them down on price. They are good about that. The first store I went to was trying to charge me 1400 for the dress, it was Mary Linns in Pasadena (THEY SUCK!!!!, THEY ARE A RIP OFF!!!! DO NOT GO THERE!!!), the second store tried to charge me 1108 and the dress was a size 16, it would've cost hundreds to alter that big of a dress. I called Lifetime, they had a smaller size, I told them that I was quoted 1108 and they gave me the same price.

    Remember....you can talk all bridal dress stores down on the price. They are trying to make money off of you.

    I also bought my veil from Lifetime. It was pretty. It cost $ 178. Much better than what Mary Linn's was trying to charge for a similar vail. They tried to charge 700.

    Lifetime Wedding & Events makes it easy because they try to be a full service provider. We rented the chair covers, the table numbers, in addition to having them to do the flowers for our ceremony, reception and bouquets and boutinaires. They even did the flower arrangements for our home for the Chinese ceremony. They are a new business, but Jennifer has experience in the decorating arena. Her strong point is decorating the reception hall/restaurant. She turned our typcial dim sum restaurant into a beautiful, elegant evening reception that would rival the Ritz. All based on my idea of yellow and gold. She didn't have more to go than that. The decoration was tasteful and elegant and the arrangements were beautiful! People were in awe! The ambiance provided for a beautiful evening. Her weak point is her outside decorating. She was inexeperienced at handling our venue by the ocean. Worst was she was late to our outdoor ceremony because she started heading to our home address instead of the one by the sea. In LA, that'a a major time loss. We still started on time, about 5 minutes behind schedule.

    I rented charger plated from this company. After I placed my order, I never received confirmation or a receipt. I called numerous times but there was no response nor a call back. The hotel finally called and got a hold of them but it took about a week. I wanted to add charger plates and again was having trouble getting ahold of someone.

    We will be having our wedding here this year. Unfortunately we have already put our deposit.  We are both health professionals who value quality work, honesty, efficiency and transparency since we don't have the time to waste... This had not been an experience that we have enjoyed with The Villa.  We would rather have gone somewhere else and not have the headache of dealing with incompetency. 

    BREACH OF CONTRACT: when we signed the contract there was a minimum for food and beverages.  The Villa (part of Lifetime wedding and events) did the contract reflecting that we had met it with the amount of guests and renting of the bar from the grand salon. Three months later we found out that the bar from the grand salon did not count toward our minimum.  We would have to spend $3000 more to get what we thought we had contractually agreed upon in the first place. We felt like this was a BAIT AND SWITCH!  It did not seem to matter that it was in writing! We were pissed. 

    I caution you against doing business with people who went against their  words and who did not admit when they had made a mistake.  It was insulting to us, the customer, to hear nonchalantly "sorry for the misunderstanding."  Accountability and transparency in business were what we value and DID NOT find in The Villa. The pros of a nice venue that was able to provide food, bar and decorations in one place was fast losing its appeal since they had not put any effort in recognizing the breach of contract and in regaining our trust.  We look toward our reception with trepidation.

    Instead of honoring our contract they tried to up sell the cognac we were thinking of bringing in from outside.  Here is a quote from our correspondence with The Villa: "Martell Cognac can offer you $34 plus tax per bottle and the $10 corkage fee. This is a discounted price for our clients from Martell but won't be towards the minimum. If you want to get cognac through us, it will be $95 per bottle plus service charge and tax, but no corkage fee added. This will be towards the minimum. I talked to them (the manager) and there is nothing we can do about adding the bar from the grand salon towards the food and beverage minimum. Im sorry about this misunderstanding. If you would like to get the cognac through us for $95 per bottle for all your tables than you will reach the minimum. This will probably be the best option since you don't want to add anything more at the bar or spend anything else to reach that minimum; you already need to purchase cognac so if you would like to reach the minimum easier than you can purchase it through us."

    Please listen to other negative reviews on this site because it is not far from the truth. I had never written a review on any company for any website but I felt I needed to do this because I honestly believe that businesses need to be accountable for what they tell customers.  

    If I am still unable to get this resolved directly with the manager instead of being brushed off by their subordinates at the Villa, I plan to file a Better Business Bureau complaint against Lifetime Wedding And Events.  They already had unresolved claim filed according to the Better Business Bureau's website.

    STAY AWAY!
    FOOD IS ok and my wedding was horrible!
    I had to deal with SO MUCH drama in the evening and AFTER the wedding! The day of coordinator Karen and venue had miscommunication on the seating chart. MY CLOSE FAMILY WERE AGAINST THE WALL IN THE BACK and people I'm not very close to were in the front. MY WEDDING WAS in NOV 2016 and it still haunts me to this very day. ALL THE PICTURES are with people I don't care so much about. MOST OF MY CLOSE FAMILY MEMBERS were barely in any photos in the background because they were hidden. I AM SO UPSET.
