Michelle and her team made my wedding day one of the best days of my life. My husband and I knew we wanted to invest in photos since we would have them forever and we met Michelle at a bridal show and we just clicked ! We did an engagement shoot which really helped us get comfortable in front of the mirror. My wedding photos are all I could have imagined and working with Michelle and Alexis’s could not have been easier. They were so calm and made the day fun. -

We were so happy to have Michelle as our wedding photographer! Michelle photographed our wedding on a rainy day in September and she did an incredible job. My husband and I cherish our photos. We can’t believe how stunning they turned out.
Michelle was a wonderful combination of very prepared in advance and easy-going on wedding day. Before the wedding, she had a very detailed process for creating a photo plan, and this was great because it allowed us to relax and be present on the wedding day. Michelle has such a positive, warm demeanor. She shared in the wedding excitement, and was generally a great person to have at our wedding. On top of that, she is an amazing photographer! She expertly managed the rain and we were able to get great photos outside. We are so happy she captured our wedding. Even now, after having spent months with our photos, we are sometimes in awe of how gorgeous they are.
We also loved doing the engagement shoot with Michelle. We had so much fun during the shoot and we got to make use of some of these photos in our wedding table decorations.
Highly recommend Michelle! -

Lieb Photographic was one of the first vendors we hired when we got engaged in September 2022. I found her through our venue (Morais Vineyards) since she’s one of their preferred vendors for photography. I was immediately drawn to her “airy” fine art photo style. We scheduled a phone call and Michelle was so welcoming and easy going that she put us at ease. We decided to do 2 engagement sessions to take advantage of the different seasons.
Our first engagement session with Michelle solidified that we had made the best choice in choosing her as our photographer. We don’t usually get our photos taken and Michelle was a pro at making us feel comfortable and helped us pose, but also gave us room for us to be ourselves.
Throughout the year, she kept in touch by sending us her Wedding Guide (advice for planning your photo session and her other pro tips) and by sending open dates for photoshoots. She even mailed us a thank you gift (his and her vow books that we ultimately used in our wedding, which was very nice to not have to order another thing for our wedding).
Michelle has consistently been a fast emailer and open to ideas. Our second engagement session was a new location for us and Michelle, Longwood Gardens in PA. She was so excited to go there and quickly found the best locations to take photos and navigate the crowds. Oh my goodness, the pictures Michelle took are absolutely stunning.
If you’re thinking about doing 2 engagement sessions, I highly recommend it because the 2nd time around I felt much more comfortable in front of the camera. Also, the variety of photos we have is awesome. Plus, it’s another special day to look back on!
I also did her blushing bridal portrait package which includes bridal boudoir and it was so empowering.
On our wedding day, December 10, 2023, the weather was bad for photos - overcast, dark/gray all day, rainy, 90% humidity in the 60’s. However, I was not worried at all because Michelle knows our venue, Morais, inside and out and has worked in so many different weather conditions - which is 100% a huge benefit to picking a vendor familiar with your venue. Michelle’s photos from our wedding are incredibly beautiful and so special to us and our families.

Amazing photographer
Michelle was amazing through my entire wedding planning process! We were so happy with our engagement pictures and wedding pictures. Michelle, her second shooter, and assistant were extremely helpful in making all my picture combinations possible! With the hottest day of the summer and a big wedding party it was not easy to make it all happen but they did! They captured our love in many different places at our venue and candidly captured our love perfectly. Michelle and her team helped so much with a variety of poses and helped me to look my best! Lieb Photgraphic was one of the best choices I made for my wedding day! -

Where do I even begin!!!! Photography was one of the most important vendors I chose, and I am SO glad I picked Michelle to capture our day. It's clear that she is so passionate about her work, and due to that, I had all the trust in the world in her! Once I booked with her, she set up a zoom call with my husband and I and really got to know us. I appreciated that because she was able to understand our vision. What I love most about Michelle is that she is able to direct us to pose different ways and in directly lightings, which gave us a variety of shots. She is professional, highly experienced and will be your photographer BFF!! I absolutely love how my wedding photos came out and I cannot wait to print them and put them on my wall :) Also, shout out to her assistant and 2nd photographer!! They were just as amazing and really helped the day go smoothly! -

I cannot fully put into words how much we appreciate Michelle and her amazing talent. After picking our wedding date, the first vendor we booked was photography. 12 years ago I was a student in her photography class and even at 16 years old I knew I must have Michelle for my wedding. So the choice was easy after getting engaged. Her work alone shows you the talent and dedication she brings to her couples, but after my husband met her for our first meeting, he too could feel her infectious warmth and kindness that she brings and we knew there was no better photographer for our big day. From our engagement session to our wedding day, she was extremely helpful in all aspects of wedding planning. She was very gentle in her approach and helped us build a photography timeline that felt comfortable to all parties involved. When we received our wedding images we were speechless. They were beyond gorgeous and everyone we have shared them with has been floored. Her ability to capture each and every moment with such emotion is astounding. From the bottom of my heart we cannot thank Michelle enough and cannot recommend her more to anyone looking to book her for their special occasion. -

My husband and I love Michelle (and her photos)! When we first met Michelle, we sat and talked with her for hours! It felt like we had known her for years. After that meeting, we realized that she was the one for the job. During our entire engagement, she was so easy to communicate with and she was flexible with our requests. Michelle took amazing engagement and wedding pictures for us. She was very familiar with our venue (Morais Vineyards) so she knew exactly where and when to take the most amazing pictures. Worth Every Penny
When we first started our search for a wedding photographer we were looking for someone we felt comfortable and natural with since we would be with them all day long on our wedding day. When we reached out to Michelle, she stood out from the rest. Her work is flawless and timeless, her years of experience show in every album she sent us. Another thing that made her stand out was she asked us to meet in person to see if we were a good fit, which no other photographer did. From the first time we met in the coffee shop I knew she would be a great fit for us. We booked our engagement sessions, yes we had two sessions. Through both sessions we felt more and more comfortable in front of the camera and knew we were in great hands for the big day. Like most weddings in 2020, we postponed the big wedding and have a microwedding on our original date. We hired Michelle for our microwedding to document the date we became husband and wife. Lets just say we have loved all of our images we have received from engagement session to microwedding, we can't wait to work with her again next year. Once you receive your full albums it will be so hard to select images to print, as there will be so many to choose from! -

A wonderful human being with unbelievable talents
I struggled for weeks to select a photographer that was within my budget, was crazy talented, and that I felt comfortable with, as I was to trust this person to capture my big day and I wanted it to be perfect. Michelle checked all of those boxes and more. She's professional, trustworthy, friendly, and is absolutely talented with a camera. From the beginning of the process, she was very understanding and informative when talking about what to expect and what package worked best with my vision, providing insight of what to consider for engagement photos to example timelines for the actual day. As my parents live in VA and my fiancé and I lived in Hoboken, NJ, my fiancé and I were unable to come down to VA before the wedding as often we would have liked and we were not familiar with ideal engagement photo locations. Michelle went above and beyond, suggesting locations (which we loved), and the engagement session itself was the most natural and easy first-time meeting, as we had only chatted on the phone before that. With the wedding, Michelle was flexible in working with our day-of schedule, where we had quite a bit of photos on our must have list as my parents are divorced. When she arrived at my house to start the photos, it was like greeting an old friend and she was a pro keeping the group to the timeline from the wedding at Holy Comforter to the wedding at King Family. In receiving all our photos after the day, I was so surprised at how much had been captured and quickly turned around - we loved the black & white variations, behind the scene moments, and Michelle's eye of capturing the most intimate moments. If you're considering Michelle, stop what you're doing and secure her right now. -

Michelle was an absolutely stellar vendor and one of the best choices we made in our wedding planning process. It was really important to us to have a photographer who could take beautiful pictures of people AND details, since our wedding involved a lot of vintage and homemade touches that we really wanted to showcase however we could, and Michelle absolutely did not disappoint on that score. We were deeply impressed by the many recommendations and testimonials we had read, and so Michelle photographed our engagement shoot, my bridal portraits (plus same-day boudoir), and our wedding + reception.
Michelle’s attention to detail, along with her responsiveness and receptivity to our vision, was fantastic; she made time for an in-person consultation before even the engagement shoot, and I always felt like we were on the same page throughout the planning process. She was extremely organized and her timelines were essential for our planning; this along with her preexisting relationships and excellent coordination with our other vendors are a case in point for her commensurate professionalism in the wedding industry.
Michelle also went above and beyond on several occasions, including shooting in a totally new location (the Virginia State Arboretum) for our engagement session, adjusting our wedding timeline to include a first look, and facilitating a private, comfortable bridal portrait/boudoir shoot at Rixey, another venue with which she had a strong preexisting professional relationship. Michelle’s guidance and clear expertise helped me to feel more confident for the bridal portrait shoot in the weeks before the wedding itself, and the wedding photography went without a hitch even with some last-minute adjustments. Michelle’s second shooter (in our case Nicole) was extremely helpful too, giving excellent direction and helping to make sure everything, even the complicated group shots or sets of shots across multiple settings, stayed on-time. They were both accommodating, attentive, and they absolutely brought out the best not only in us but also in our friends, family, and wedding party.
We were really excited about Michelle’s fast turnaround of final pictures too — my bridal portraits and boudoir shoot were two weeks to the day before our wedding, and we received the photos days before our actual ceremony + reception. We received our wedding photos in a similarly timely fashion — nearly 1,500 edited photo files only two and a half weeks after our wedding! — and we could not be happier with the way they capture the spirit of our special day. Having Michelle as part of our wedding was an absolutely marvelous experience and her expertise and keen eye are worth their weight in gold; we’d recommend her to anyone in a heartbeat, and we’re so grateful for her work! -

"Words cannot describe how happy my wife and I are that we chose Michelle as our wedding photographer. From the moment we booked her, through our engagement photos, wedding, and finally receiving our photos she has been the easiest person to work alongside. She made us feel at ease when we felt awkward during our engagement shoot, which really helped us to feel at ease on our actual wedding day. We also had never considered a "first look" before meeting with Michelle and we are so happy we ended up doing one. Besides her being a breeze to work with, her photos are just phenomenal. She really captured the love shared between my wife and I. I was hesitant in the beginning of the planning process and putting aside so much money towards one vendor, but in the end it was worth every dollar spent because we now have memories that will last a lifetime.
Also, Michelle has the fastest turnaround time and blew our minds with how quickly we received all of our 1000+ photos post-wedding. Only a week and a half after the wedding!! She has also been super helpful with getting pictures and canvases ordered. We just recently ordered two canvases from Michelle and the quality is perfect. One final note is that she made the wedding day feel like a well oiled machine with all of her prep work, timelines, and planning. We were able to give our family/wedding party a head-ups in advance and they were all ready to go when they were needed for their various group shots. This allowed everyone to have more time to enjoy cocktail hour and each other's company. 10/10 would recommend Michelle to all of my friend's and family." -

If you are looking for a wedding photographer, look no further. Michelle IS AMAZING and we cannot recommend her enough. From the beginning to the end, she offered her support, advice and guidance. From our first experience with Michelle during our engagement session, to our bridal portraits the day of our wedding, Michelle “got us” and made us feel so comfortable and confident in front of the camera. She will make sure your day is captured perfectly because she is so organized, experienced and attentive to detail. You can tell that she genuinely loves what she does through her stunning photos. Our families were also very impressed with how she handled the family formal pictures and the many little ring bearers and flower girls we had. Michelle is really so much more than a “just” a photographer (and teacher of photography) and I am so thrilled to explain why. I have truly enjoyed getting to know her over this past year. Honestly, I procrastinated writing out my review, not because I didn’t want to write a glowing review, but because I wasn’t sure how to adequately describe just how I feel about Michelle. Personally, I think the world of her and it’s no secret that she genuinely cares about her couples and works diligently to provide the best experience possible. From our initial interactions, receiving her well put together wedding guide and welcome package with some sweet surprises, and from the first time we met in person, I knew we made the absolute best decision in asking Michelle to capture our story. Brides (grooms too!), look no further for someone to capture your big day and even help in the planning of your wedding. She has an extensive questionnaire, a great preferred vendor list, and helps you to craft a detailed timeline, all of which ensures you can rest easy when your big day finally arrives. Also, trust her on her vendor list! She knows all of the best and reliable vendors to make your day complete.
I was fortunate to first meet Michelle out in Arizona for a bridal couples shoot. What I didn’t know is that my then fiancé planned a surprise proposal and Michelle was in on it! We had so much fun shooting in the Arizona desert and experienced the most beautiful sunset, which, of course, was the perfect time for him to propose. Michelle was able to capture that moment for us and I will never forget that beautiful day. The pictures turned out like stills from a classic (and glamorous) western movie… such a gorgeous landscape!
For our engagement pictures, we had a location in mind where we wanted to shoot; however, due to concerns about rain and flooding that day, we ended up shooting at an alternate location, Rixey Manor. Michelle was so helpful and was able to coordinate us using this alternate location the day before, and guess what, everything turned out amazing! Michelle is a master at shooting in natural light and you would never guess what a dreary day it was as the pictures turned out magical as if time stood still with each frame.
For our wedding at Walden Hall, Michelle worked so hard to capture our celebration. Everything felt so natural as we were so comfortable in front of the camera and we owe that all to Michelle. We selected a hybrid film and digital package and cannot wait to see how these pictures turned out!
What I absolutely love most about Michelle’s photography style is that all of her photos are elegant, classic, and timeless. I have no doubt that I will look back at all of our pictures for years to come and appreciate the graceful poses, candid moments, laughter, tears, and shots of our friends and family. As I mentioned before, Michelle is not just an amazing photographer… she will laugh, cry, and interact with you the entire time, all while still being mindful of your private moments. If you choose Michelle to capture your story and big day, I promise that you will love her as much as we do!

We were referred to Lieb Photographic, LLC by my Matron of Honor who utilized Michelle's photography services for her five year wedding anniversary photos. As soon as I browsed her website and gallery I knew this was the perfect photographer for the look I wanted to capture our special day. Michelle's lighting style is so light and airy which is exactly how I want to remember this day forever. We scheduled a consult with Michelle and fell in love over coffee, we did not need to look any further for our photographer. Michelle was so wonderful that she even provided recommendations for other wedding vendors she is familiar with and we ended up selecting our Florist/Day of Coordinator (The Posey Detail) and hair/makeup (Yisell Santos) from her list of colleagues. This was the first time my husband has done professional photos and Michelle made him feel so very comfortable in front of the camera. You can literally see the transition during our engagement photos of when he started feeling comfortable. It's so so smart that Michelle includes the engagement photo services because it really does allow her to get to know you as a couple and for you to get to know her shooting style. Speaking of shooting style...you will never feel uncomfortable in your photos because Michelle does not put you into super posed looks! All of our photos are so light and natural because of this; she is so skilled at capturing the natural chemistry between a couple. From the very beginning Michelle has gone above and beyond our expectations of a photographer. She made us feel so comfortable in front of the camera. She always had an answer for some crazy question we emailed her about. She was a huge help with our timeline of the day. Jimmy and I did a ton of research on wedding photographers - there are A LOT of talented ones in the Virginia area - and we could not have been happier with our choice in Michelle. She took the steady rain we had on our wedding day in stride and helped make the best of it - while also making us feel relaxed in the process.
