the BEST experience - the most BEAUTIFUL dress!

Patty made all my wedding dress dreams come true. It was a complete JOY to work with her and Corina. I wanted to wear the same dress that my grandmother and my mom were married in, however, over time the satin had significantly yellowed. I called other bridal shops and spoke with other designers and they told me they could make a completely new dress and that we could copy the style of the original. And then I talked to Patty at L’ezu. She understood WHY I wanted to use the same, original fabric, and didn’t try to talk me out of it. My mom and I met with her, brought the dress, and she worked with us to imagine something new and wonderful, using the original fabric so that I could be the third generation to say “I Do” in it. Patty is truly an artist. Working with her was a highlight of our entire wedding planning process. She was delightful and sweet and she made the dress of my dreams. It was amazing to have an original design. She layered organza over the satin so that it no longer looked yellow. She took into account the wedding venue and our style so that the dress fit in with everything. My grandmother, and everyone at the wedding, thought it was so special that I was wearing the same fabric, and couldn’t believe how it had been transformed to create a timeless dress that was so me. I am so in love with the dress and our experience at L’ezu!

Truly exceptional!

I tried on a few dresses before I went to L'Ezu. I got frustrated with sales associates who knew less than me about fabrics or styles. I also hated the idea of picking a dress, having it "custom made" for me in an approximate size, and then 6 months later have to pay to actually get it tailored to my body. Instead, at L'Ezu they made a dress just for me, and it is incredible! Simple, elegant, and made with a beautiful silk mikado in ivory. From the beginning, all the decisions were made to accentuate my best features, and as a result, the dress not only fit perfectly but is also extremely comfortable. Corina and Patty know their stuff! They were incredible to work with from day one, advising me on different aspects of the design, and making each visit a true joy. In their studio, I always felt like a bride -- not because there was champagne lying around or because I came in with a bunch of girlfriends, but because they wanted to make my wedding dress exactly as I wanted it, and that is what they did. I can't thank them enough for giving me that gift. They are truly exceptional!

My wedding was magical, in no small part to the Ladies at L'ezu Altier. As I stood outside a gorgeous Spanish villa, on Chumash Indian land, under a naked tipi surrounded by bougainvillea blooms with a bright floral splash of color snaking down my dress, I felt so beautiful. Simply put ... Corina and Patty are a dream! After scouring all the designer bridal shops LA has to offer, I was exhausted and nowhere closer to finding my dream dress for my big day. What I finally found after my exhausting search was an off-the-rack dress at a discount bridal outlet ... but it still wasn't quite what I had imagined; I wanted color. I wanted something unique and wild and floral, and as far as I could tell ... it just didn't exist regardless of the amount one was prepared to spend. When I decided to look into a re-style I visited a few designers before I found the magic pair at L'ezu. What I got before them was stuffy women trying to talk me out of my vision: "You don't want that much color ... you don't want this, or that." What a relief it was to sit down on the elegant sofa in the L'ezu studio. Corina and Patty immediately got what I was after and had fabric specially made to add to my dress. The result ... better than I dreamed! The whole process from beginning to end was so fabulous. Corina was great at communicating with me about the status of the re-styling, and they were so kind during each fitting. All my ideas and concerns were heard, and these ladies created PURE MAGIC. I felt like a Spanish princess; wearing a dress wholly unique. My husband was overwhelmed and I got soooo many compliments. Best day of my life in no small part to the L'ezu ladies. I cannot recommend them more highly. Wonderful, amazing, beautiful artists!

L'ezu did the most amazing amazing job altering my wedding dress. I had no idea I had purchased the dress 2 sizes too big. L'ezu had their hands full trying to get my dress ready for the wedding date. Everything about the dress was true perfection. The fit was incredible, but what amazed me the most is how comfortable the dress was. I stayed in it even at the after party because it was just so beautiful that I didn't want to take it off. I really can't say thank you enough to the entire L'ezu team for making my wedding day one that I will forever remember.

Corina (and the rest of the staff at L'Ezu) was absolutely incredible. She is a true professional who listens to every concern and quickly offers realistic solutions. I brought in a wedding dress I had purchased at a sample sale that was several sizes too big in the bust. Two quick alteration sessions later, and the dress fit perfectly. I brought it home pressed and was happy with the result. Fast forward to a month before the wedding, and when I go to try it on it's suddenly too large again (in the same area). I called Corina in a bit of a panic, but she reassured me they could fix it in plenty of time. I brought it back in and she offered two immediate solutions for adjustment for a small sum.
The work they produce is truly spectacular and well-priced with a swift turn around. I'd definitely go back for any formal dress fittings!

Corina was amazing! I had an idea of what I wanted and tried to communicate my vision of a unique elegant simple wedding gown. Corina was so patient with my particular wishes and changed the dress to my liking. She even hand delivered it and drove in traffic to get it to me on time, since I had changed my mine so many times. She went above and beyond! The dress was perfect!!!

Patricia and Corina were an absolute pleasure to deal with. I met with them after going to a large bridal store and what a difference! Any dress I looked at would be made specifically for me and they didn't need six months notice to have it made. After explaining what I was looking for, they showed me many dresses in that style. After looking at my body and height (six feet tall!) they suggested another dress completely different than what I had in mind. That was the dress I ended up getting! It is absolutely stunning and fit me perfectly. There were a few extra fittings needed and they always got me in and made me feel just beautiful during the whole process. Friends and family are still telling me that my dress is one of the most gorgeous wedding dresses they have ever seen. And my husband was speechless when he saw me!! I can't recommend them highly enough.

I fell in love with the bottom of a Monique Lhuillier wedding gown that had a beautiful skirt and train, but I wanted a more customized lace corset/bustier for the top. I needed professional artists who could turn my vision into reality, and thank god, Corina and Patricia took on the challenge! Not only were they kind and patient, but they were also passionate and meticulous about every single detail. Not to mention - they're hilarious and will always tell you the truth. They are true artists and my wedding gown was a masterpiece!

Corina and Patricia are the best. My sister and I have both had our wedding dresses made there, and the styling, materials and design are impeccable. I received so many compliments, and it's always wonderful to have something that is custom FOR YOU, that no one else has. I was even able to work with L'Ezu on accessories and a flower girl dress, that used elements from my own. L'Ezu helped make my wedding unforgettable, and totally me.

L'ezu made my wedding dress and it was absolutely perfect! I came to them with a picture of a dress I loved and couldn't find anywhere. L'ezu was able to duplicate the dress perfectly and even improve it using high quality materials and above average sewing skills! Their ability to assess how the dress would fit my body and then alter it to create the look I wanted was impressive! I would strongly suggest L'ezu to anyone looking for high quality design and seamstress skills! The ladies of L'ezu are not only talented, but kind and personable as well! Thank you, L'ezu!

I made the mistake of trying to get the bargain when it came to my wedding dress. I bought my dress online, and the day it showed up in the mail I started to cry. It fit horribly, it was cheaply made, and it was NOT the dress that I could walk down the aisle in. I couldn't afford to start over, so in a desperate attempt to fix this mistake I took my dress to L'ezu. The ladies there worked with my budget and turned my horrible dress into a dress that my family and friends are still talking about. I am so lucky to have found such talented, generous people like them and I would recommend them to anyone.

Patty , Corina and all the ladies at L'ezu create the PERFECT wedding dress for me in record time. With out them saving the day, I would have been a frumpy marshmellow puff on my wedding . They also create two addition dresses for my mother and my self . Love them and recommend to all!

We had an excellent experience with lezu. They were able to create a beautiful gown within a short amount of time. They quality and originality truly set me apart from typical bridal gowns. Not only did I receive a gorgeous gown, but the process of creating it was a pleasant one too. They were able to accommodate my religious standards while keeping a couture look.

L'ezu updated my mother's wedding dress for me. The finished product was amazing, with great attention to detail and craftsmanship. Through the whole process they made sure to check with me on each step to make sure I was happy with what they were doing. They were also very reasonable for a custom dress, more reasonable than the top wedding dress designers even and you get a dress that nobody else has. Two of my cousins worked with them as well and recommended them and I'm so glad they did! Thank you L'ezu!

Lezu is simply amazing!! I enjoyed working with Corina and Patty throughout the entire dress process.

I took my parents dress shopping with me. I wasn't completely happy with any of the dresses I tried on at other places. There was always something I wanted to tweak or change. One of my friends suggested that I go to Lezu because they will actually custom make your dress for you which is something my parents really liked.

My parents and I arrived at Lezu. I tried on several gowns. Then I tried on THE ONE. It was different than what I thought I wanted. When I looked over at my father, he was teary-eyed. My father, who is not emotional, nodding at me and said, "I think this is the one." I couldn't have agreed more!

Pinterest was exploding when were planning our wedding. I kept seeing the same dresses over and over again. That is what is special about the dresses at Lezu. Patty and Corina have designed these dresses - they are pieces of art. You are also not getting a dress off the rack to be tailored to your size. Corina and Patty will take your measurements to make sure the dress is custom made to fit all the curves of your body. The materials they work with are also topnotch. Many high-end dress designers use cheaper materials in their dresses. Your dress from Lezu will be from the finest silk, satin, and/or lace.

I personally feel they go beyond the average dress designer to make sure you are happy. I ended up losing a lot of weight the month before my wedding (not on purpose, but due to work stress). When I went for my final fitting, my dress was swimming on me. Corina just took out her pins and started marking the dress where it needed to be taken in.

On my wedding day, my dress was perfect, and I looked the way I wanted to look. I am so happy I chose Lezu.

Patty and Corina are SUPERSTARS! they are so friendly, extremely talented and very excited about making you feel amazing in your gown. You know as soon as you walk into the boutique that they are professional, and highly skilled. I had a design in my head and described it to them, within seconds they said "We have that dress, we just made it for a famous television show". They offered to get the dress from the set of the TV show and would call me back that day to come back to try it on. It was perfect, I altered a couple of things and the fabric to make it my own. My custom gown was divine, I felt so special and elegant. My day was beautiful and I felt so comfortable in my dress and people loved the design. It was the perfect shape, cut and style for me. The craftsmanship and detail of their work is impeccable. I have recommended many friends to go to them. It was the first place I went too, recommended by my good friend who has worked with them for a show. Plus, after thinking maybe I should just take a look at a couple of other places, I realized very quickly how I was treated at L'ezu compared to the other two places I went. I was just a customer in a big store, and no one really cared or wanted to go the extra mile to work with my vision and budget. I just walked out, and straight back to L'ezu. It was a confirmation that I was in the perfect place for my wedding gown. Thank you ladies for making the experience so seamless, satisfying and most of all beautiful. xo

After going to all the wedding shops in LA I figured out that quality dresses are too expensive. My wedding planner referred me to Lezu, and they did an amazing job on my wedding gown. My inspiration was the wedding dress from Vera Wang, and they accomplished that in record timing. I recommend Lezu to all my friends.

These ladies have it all. They are talented, professional and sooo sweet. They can sense when you are in the mood to chat about the big day or when you would rather just get the fitting out of the way. Patricia Nevil at L'ezu is truly a extraordinary seamstress! She made my ill-fitting Oscar De La Renta runway dress look like it was made specifically to fit me. I would recommend anyone with a runway or pre-owned wedding dress to take it to L'ezu and let them do their magic!!

My beautiful dress was for a portrait. Everyone who saw the dress thought it was absolutely lovely. It fit perfectly and was very flattering to my figure. L'ezu staff was most pleasant and helpful. It was very important to them that everything turned out flawlessly. They added designer ideas for the dress that made it even more special than I thought a custom dress could be.

I looked everywhere for my dream dress but the only place i ever saw it was in my mind. The ladies at Lezu were so amazing. They helped me create the perfect dress for my body type and budget. They included all tailoring and even made last minute changes when I was unsure if I liked it. I would absolutely recommend them to any bride who is sick of the normal wedding boutique experience and selection or any one who is looking to have a gown custom made within a budget! People have asked me many times where I got my amazing one of a kind wedding dress. Thank you Lezu for taking the dream I had in my mind and making it a reality!!

I was so stressed out trying to find THE dress until I walked into Lezu's wonderful studio. Corina and Patricia are amazing! They helped me find the dress of my dreams. The dress looked beautiful. I will never forget my husbands face when he finally saw me walk down the isle.

I have already recommended Lezu to some of my girlfriends and they have been very happy with my recommendation.

L'ezu turned my aunt's vintage wedding gown from 1972 into the modern gown of my dreams, without losing the integrity and ethereal beauty of the original dress. Wonderful women, wonderful experience. They knew exactly what I wanted before I could even say it.

If you are looking to have your wedding dress altered, look no further than L'zou! Patricia and Corina are miracle-workers!

I purchased my dress (used) from someone, not realizing that the dress had several large stains in the front. After finding out from multiple dry-cleaners that the stains could not be removed, I called L'zou (I was practically in tears by this point) to ask if there was anything that could be done alterations-wise to cut out the stains. Over the phone, Patricia calmed me down and told me to bring my dress into the store - she said that it could probably be fixed and not to worry.

Patricia and Corina, through some sort of miracle, tacked and altered my dress so that the stains were not visible and so that it fit beautifully. Corina had me return multiple times throughout the alterations process to try on the gown, in order to ensure that everything was done perfectly - very professional and detail-oriented.

I feel so blessed to have found L'zou! I was able to wear my dream gown with confidence because of Corina and Patricia's work! Thank you L'zou!

I had a dress custom made for my wedding. I had no idea what I wanted but the staff was very helpful and helped me to find something that flattered my body type. The material was beautiful and the dress fit perfectly.

I couldn't be happier with my custom wedding dress from L'ezu! The dress is beyond gorgeous- French lace with an open back and so many custom details throughout. They even sewed on all the lace by hand because it was so delicate. The attention to detail was really amazing! Corina and Patricia made sure the dress fit me perfectly and they were so patient with me and amazing to work with throughout the whole process, assuring the dress came out exactly the way I wanted. At the end of our fitting I was sad to take off the dress because it was so beautiful! I felt so amazing and special wearing my gown on my bid day. I would highly recommend L'ezu to any bride-to-be looking for the perfect unique wedding gown!

Our daughters wedding dress and my "mother of the bride" dresses were made by Patricia and Corina at L'ezu. They are a great team. My daughter came with various photos and they were able to design and make her dream wedding dress come true by combining all of the things she wanted. My dress was created by copying a dress I bought 35 years ago and I still loved. The style, color and some details were modified but they knew and tuned in to exactly we wanted. I would definitely use them again. They can copy and do anything. You can have anything made there - not just event clothing. Prices were fair. Not inexpensive but I have found you get what you pay for.... The quality was superior and made like a couture dress. The finishing and seams were exquisite. Patty came the day of the wedding and helped us get dressed and made sure all of us, including the bridesmaids, looked perfect before we walked down the aisle

This place was perfect for me. I wanted something simple, elegant but off beat. And with red hair I certainly didn't want white! My dress was absolutely perfect. The compliments at my wedding were constant.

Corina and her staff were great. I was very glad I found them!

Corina & Martita SAVED my wedding! After months of working with a designer I had found online (NOT at L'ezu) to custom-make a dress that would "fit my body like a glove", I ended up with a really expensive dress that was way too big for me - and that my designer refused to make fit. She said it wasn't possible to alter it & I'd just have to "smooth it down" if I moved around so that it wouldn't pooch out... And I only had ONE WEEK before the wedding... IN TEARS, I called L'ezu and spoke to Corina, who said "how far away from us are you and when can you be here?" And Corina & Martita (the seamstress) FIXED MY DRESS in just 3 days so that it DID fit my body like a glove, and I got RAVE reviews from everyone at my wedding about how beautifully my dress fit. THANK YOU, Corina & Martita for saving my wedding. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND L'ezu to ANY bride - they are nice, professional, honest, fast, and incredibly good at what they do. I only wish I'd found them in the first place. Don't make the mistake I did - go to L'ezu FIRST.

Beautiful quality work! L'ezu did an incredible job designing and building a wedding dress for me. I fell in love with the shape of a Lhuillier dress and the fabrics/textures of a Vera Wang dress. They put the concept together and executed! Patricia and Corina were very professional, kind, and easy to work with. My only suggestion is to keep a schedule for a full custom dress. My wedding was toward the end of the season and my dress fell behind schedule with everything else being worked on there. We were still making corrections in the fit and fabrics the week of the wedding... but in the end it turned out beautiful and we were very happy with the result.

Such a pleasure to work with. Kind and responsive to all of my questions and requests. I would absolutely return. It had been impossible to find a place to alter my rather complicated wedding dress in LA - and could not recommend L'ezu enough.

I had a wonderful experience at L'Ezu. Everyone was extremely pleasant, supportive, professional and most importantly they were great at keeping me calm throughout the whole experience! Their design sensibility is also impeccable.

I highly recommend them to any bride-to-be. I was very lucky to have had them as my wedding dress makers. They were great partners and I trust them implicitly.

I went to L'ezu on a Sunday and Corina helped me find my dreamed dress, she was very attentive and understood right away what i was invisioning all the three months i went shopping to other boutiques. Her service was unique, and made me feel like a friend. I am looking forward to show them my wedding pictures!!!!

Besides the fact that I told the designer I wanted something taken off of my dress and when I went for a fitting the embellishment that was supposed to be removed was still on the dress I was satisfied with the service and quality.

L'ezu altered my wedding dress, created a lovely lace blouse to go over my dress as well a a delicate chiffon and lace veil to wear for the ceremony. They were prompt and meticulous! They are a delight to work with and I would recommend them to anyone!

I had a very good experience with L'ezu. Nobody really tells you what a nightmare dress shopping can be. It's surprisingly difficult to find a bridal shop where they aren't either cooing over you or nastily stuffing you into dresses you don't like. Corina, Patty, and Kristen treat clients like grown-ups, in the nicest way.

If you're close to their sample size, it's worthwhile to wait until their sample sale - I got my gown for a great price with tailoring thrown in, and the dress was perfect on my wedding day.

The two stars I took off were for the bridesmaids' dresses we got there. My dress experience was perfect; my bridesmaids' was not.

Fast and friendly! My dress was custom and gorgeous. The zipper broke right after me wearing it, which is why I lower the review a little. All and all, a gorgeous dress and was perfect for my occasion.
