Top notch printing service for all your wedding needs!

Lynne did an outstanding job on our wedding invitations even during the height of the pandemic! Outstanding quality and design. We loved her work so much she did the seating chart and the programs for the church. We highly recommend her for all your printing needs!

Lynne Sandler is a class act!!!

Lynne did bridal shower, Save the Dates, and Wedding Invitations for my daughter's wedding. She is so accommodating. She worked with my daughter and I virtually. She answered our questions. My daughter just had to explain what she wanted and Lynne created the most beautiful invitations. She works within your timeline.

Wonderful Experience!

I highly recommend working with Lettering by Lynne for any card or invitation needs. Lynne is wonderful to work with and makes the process easy, with beautiful results.

We first worked with Lynne on invitations and other cards for our wedding, which were perfect. We just went back to her a year later for help with printing holiday cards.

It is very hard to find quality print work that you can work with in person. Lettering by Lynne is the perfect solution. We will definitely use Lynne again in the future.

Fantastic Experience throughout!

Lynne was recommended to us by a friend and wow - she was everything and more. Very responsive, organized and reasonable in comparison to other online options. The best part was we could touch and feel everything before pulling the trigger! I couldn't recommend Lynne in a more positive light.

Lynne is Fantastic!

Lynne was absolutely fantastic to work with! She designed our invitations, escort cards, and table cards. We were thrilled with the final product. Lynne was also great about sending us proofs of everything before it was printed so that we could verify everything looked perfect. We could not be happier!

Fast & Thorough

Originally I was planning to print my own placecards and realized the week before the wedding that I couldn't take that on. My month-of coordinator recommended Lynne. Lynne was responsive and so easy to work with. She took on our 230 person wedding and turned around the placecards in days with such great quality. Would absolutely recommend Lynne!

Excellent experience!

My now husband discovered Lettering by Lynne online in our search for assistance with our wedding invitations. We were having a traditional event representative of my family's cultural origin (East Africa) and had a motif already designed to reflect that. Lynne was so patient, responsive and flexible throughout the entire process, which went through several rounds of tweeking and editing. She was determined to keep at it until we were fully satisfied. Everyone in the end loved the invitations!

We were so happy with our experience that we returned to Lynne to work on our Thank You cards together as well. We'll be sure to reach out to Lynne again for our future projects!

When we met with Lynne originally we were not only blown away by the amount of choices she had, but how by just meeting us for a few minutes and telling her about our wedding theme and feel, she knew exactly what kind of invitations would help elevate that feeling and tie in perfectly! Lynne stepped in and saved the day

I had been going round and round with another small business regarding invitations for my daughters upcoming wedding. Due to failure to respond and differences of opinion (they didn't believe that the customer was always right), I severed our relationship. The only problem is that I was up against the deadline to order the invitations.

After a search on The Knot and calling several friends, they suggested I call "Lettering by Lynne". I called Lynne on a Friday morning, in tears, and explained my plight.

She was able to make time to see me that afternoon and she easily guided me through my selections. She sent me the proof the next day and we were able to order the invitations on Monday. Not only were the invitations exactly what my daughter and I wanted, they were less expensive than the company I had been working with. They were perfect!

When the invitations arrived, Lynne beautifully addressed the envelopes for me. She gave me pointers on mailing (where to go to get them hand stamped, etc.). We also ordered matching Thank You cards, which arrived at the same time.

I received many compliments on the invitations from my guests. We were thrilled.

Lynne also made the programs for the ceremony. They, again, matched the invitation and were beautiful. The venue we used provided place cards, menu cards, etc. or I would have ordered them from Lynne.

I can't say enough how wonderful Lynne was to work with. She literally saved the day for me! 5 stars isn't enough -- She's a 10 in my book!

Beautiful Invitation

The first thing I did was inquired about the pricing for couple vendors. Typically, I would read the review. Couple of the vendors got back to me, but when Lynne got back to me, she had everything that I needed to see. She was everything that you want to work with when selecting the wedding invitation. First, we exchanged email, then in person appointment. She showed so many selection but I think after couple of looked through the book and style, I was able to select what I wanted right away. Look no further for the wedding invitation if you live in DMV. Everyone complimented me with my invitation, they thought it looked traditional, yet elegant. Lynne was prompt, professional, even went extra to create my names placecards for me manually after I already placed the order. She also helped with selecting your wording.

Great to work with a pro!

We were so happy with Lynne and her invitation services for my daughter's wedding. She has a tremendous selection from which to choose, and she many samples of the actual invitations so you can feel the paper quality. There is such a difference in paper thickness and quality when looking at the various invitations, that is was so good to work with someone who was able to show us so many options in person. Lynne was great to work with as she offered helpful suggestions as to style, list formatting, etc. My daughter was undecided between several different invitations, and Lynne happily priced them all for us and gave us her feedback on each as well as offering alternatives for those which were on the high side of my price point. Once we decided on a set, proofs were quick as was the ordering process. We had Lynne do the actually addressing for us, which was so worth it! The invitations were beautiful and really set the tone of the entire wedding. Thanks!!

Lynne is AMAZING and our FAVORITE vendor!!

My husband and I worked with Lynne for our wedding invitations and escort cards. Lynne is AMAZING, and was our favorite vendor to work with! From the start, Lynne was extremely responsive. Lynne was respectful of our budget and offered us several great options of wedding invitations all within our budget. Lynne gave us great advice and helped us find the perfect invitation for us. The turn-around time was extremely fast! Our invitations were stunning, so much so that we decided to have Lynne make our escort cards as well, which also turned out more beautiful than we could have imagined. Lynne is so great to work with. She's helpful, responsive, fast, and very talented. We are so lucky to have found her!

Lynne was extraordinary in every way: She was flexible and extremely knowledgeable having had years of experience not only in printing and calligraphy but also in etiquette. She made all our invitations, response cards, place cards, table nos, and thank you stationary for the newlyweds.

We initially met with Lynne, but decided to go with an online wedding stationary company. When the company could not print names on the escort cards matching the rest of our set, Lynne came to the rescue, quickly turning around beautiful escort cards with script that matched our other pieces. She even went above and beyond by printing, immediately at our last-minute request, a card for the photograph of my husband's late mother and father, which was tremendously meaningful for us. Our wedding would not have been what it was without Lettering By Lynne. For us she was the complete one stop shop for all paper goods. From the invitations, programs, to escort cards, table names and stands, menus, gift bags, welcome sign and frame, the list goes on! Her prices are more than responsible and the service and professionalism from Lynne is first class! She was also very responsive and had everything completed on time, if not earlier! I would recommend Lynne to anyone planning a wedding, being able to sit down with her and look through all the different options for things was an unbelievable experience! Working with Lynne was an absolute pleasure. I felt like we reached out to her with not much time before our wedding, but she took care of our order so quickly and with great care. I even made a spelling error with two names and she re-printed their escort cards within 48 hours. I highly recommend Lynne for any printing needs. Where do I start with Lynne? Her prices are affordable, she has a million options to choose from when it comes to invitations and calligraphy. You will not be overwhelmed though because Lynne always redirects you to the best choices because she works with your vision, and is great at guiding you with her valuable input. She also has items that she rents out for wedding receptions. Had I known that, I would've not purchased a lot of my items. I had my envelopes done in Calligraphy and they looked nothing short of amazing. My guests were so impressed considering I had them not handmade but by printing process. No one could tell the difference, they looked done by hand. I absolutely recommend Lettering by Lynne

Professional! Knowledgeable! Easy to work with! Responsive! Quality products! Not only does Lynne have an enormous selection of wedding stationary sets (invitations, save the date, reception and thank you cards), she has over 25 years of knowledge and experience in the business to expertly guide you through what is a very overwhelming process. She carries products that will accommodate all budgets from large to small. She was always patient with us as we went through book after book of sample invitations. Once my daughter made her selection, Lynne quickly worked with the stationary company to deliver several digital proofs so that before placing the order we knew the invitation suite would beautifully coordinate with the colors and overall theme of the wedding. When we realized that the invitation we selected did not come with an inner envelope, Lynne quickly found another envelope source that exactly matched the invitation paper and size. In the end, we decided to forgo the inner envelope but she went far beyond my expectations in allowing us to make an informed decision. Lettering by Lynne is a one-stop shop for all your paper needs! Not only did we purchase the invitations through her, she also beautifully addressed the envelopes in a computer calligraphy font that perfectly matched the invitations. Using a desktop publishing program, Lynne designed the wedding program that incorporated artwork and matching fonts. She cheerfully put up with my endless edits and then arranged for the program to be locally printed. In the end, she delivered a stunning array of coordinated paper products from the beautiful invitations, to a gorgeous wedding program, and elegant table escort cards. We received so many wonderful compliments from our guests. My daughter and I couldn’t be happier. You will not make a mistake in choosing Lettering by Lynne!

Lettering by Lynne is an exceptionally outstanding provider. We shopped several mainstream printing services before discovering Lynne. What attracted us at first was the extraordinarily tasteful variety of invitations that she specializes in. After suffering through dozens of books at other providers, after describing what we wanted to Lynne, she immediately narrowed the field by steering us to selections that matched our taste perfectly. Working out of her home, her low overhead made affordable what might have otherwise been out of our reach. Lynne's relaxed style gently guided us through indecision to selections that were universally acclaimed by all of our guests. She provided much more than invitations; there were thank-you notes, signage, escort cards, and more, all beautifully coordinated. Lynne's attention to detail was responsible for delivering flawless products at reasonable prices, and allowed us to focus on other pressing matters. She has a fantastic eye for detail, and she is a wealth of knowledge on all things wedding-related. Lynne was a pleasure to work with! She helped us with our envelope addressing on our invitations - she was very responsive and professional, answered all my questions, helped me pick out a font that looked great with our invitations, and turned them around very quickly-- they were ready to pick up exactly 1 week after I dropped envelopes off and sent her our list. They turned out beautifully, and she even gave us a little glue stick to help us seal them! :-) Would highly recommend her services-- she is incredibly knowledgeable about all things to do with invitations and etiquette-- a great asset in your planning process.

We had a very serious family emergency that almost caused us to postpone our wedding. However, things were resolved and we were able to keep our date but a lot of the planning had to be rushed. We badly needed invitations ASAP and Lynne was able to get them to us very quickly. She had a lot to choose from and helped us narrow down our selection. Lynne was great and walked us through the ins-and-outs of invitations and helped us customize a few things that were pretty atypical (we think), but that fit our style. Lynne did a great job, frequently on very short notice. The lettering was beautiful, and her prices are excellent. We weren't able to use her services in selecting invitations, but she has an impressive selection, and I would strongly recommend you look there before going to some of these full price shops. I think you will find much the same thing with Lynne at a much better price.

There's no question where you should look for beautiful and unique wedding invitations - definitely Lettering by Lynne! Lynne helped us with our wedding invitations, programs, tent cards and place cards. She was truly a life saver! For our wedding invitations, we wanted to incorporate a touch of our Hindu and Christian dual ceremonies, and Lynne helped us design the perfect invitations. Our guests are still talking about them! She helped me carry that customized look throughout the programs, tent cards and place cards which we appreciated. Our guests loved the customized/special touch on everything!

My fiance and mine's experience with Lynne was top notch, and we have tried to recommend her to anyone we can.

We had originally tried to use one of the many online services to develop and customize our wedding invitations. But after just too many hiccups my fiance decided to do some searching for companies in our area that would be able to help us create the invitations we wanted. Once we got in touch with Lynne she was very professional and courteous, as well as responsive to our needs. Our biggest need was that we were under a time crunch since we had wasted a bit of our time trying to accomplish this task online. In our first meeting with Lynne we discussed what we were looking for in an invitation and she was able to direct us to exactly what we were looking for. She found the perfect paper and font and overall design that made us extremely excited and happy to find her services. Once we had worked out the particulars she worked with us and our truncated time schedule to get our invitations completed and in the mail. I don't think we could have asked for anything better. Lynne was fantastic, and again we would highly recommend her services. She was great!

I met with Lynne way back in September about my invites for my wedding in April. There was such a great selection and she had lots of ideas and input. I decided to see what else was out there at that point. Fast forward to January and I still had not found anything that I liked as much as what I had found with Lynne! And I suddenly became aware that my wedding was in only three months! So I contacted Lynne, and she still had all of the information about what we had decided that day back in September. Lettering by Lynne provided unique fonts in a wide variety. I loved the font--one of several Lynne recommended--we ultimately chose. Although the envelopes were addressed in a printed font, we found them to be even prettier than many of the ones we've seen that were done in calligraphy by hand, and they cost much less. Many of the guests commented on how beautiful the invitations were.

Anyone should 110% hire Lynne to help you with your computerized calligraphy, save-the-date, invitations, etc. We were SO happy that we found her!! We were impressed with how many samples and ideas she had for us - she's been doing this forever and it absolutely shows! She was very responsive and made the process so simple for us. I recommended her to some of my other friends who are equally as happy with her as we were! She addressed our save-the-dates and invitations, which turned out beautifully (looked like real calligraphy) and she also helped us order our invitations. It was really helpful to look through her books of invitation samples so that we could feel the paper and see the materials in person. I would HIGHLY recommend her!

We used Lettering by Lynne for our wedding invitations, menu cards, wedding programs, and our donation cards, and we were thoroughly impressed and thankful for her wonderful work! Lynne was so patient with us as we took our time selecting our invitations - she really listened to what we were looking for in an invitation, and as a result, she was so easily able to help us pick out a truly elegant style. Lynne was also able to help us remain within our budget, and always thought of ways to get us the best result by thinking outside the box. What we also liked about working with Lynne is that she is a small shop - it's just herself working with a couple, and her service is always with a smile! Our invitations looked beautiful and although Lynne doesn't do it by hand anymore, the printed version looks just as amazing and flawless. Lynne was great! She is a professional with years of experience and knows what looks good without breaking the bank - something we were not interested in doing! She is very familiar with different companies and the designs/formats they offer so while flipping through her books, she would remember what you liked and then suggest another design/format from a different company as a point of comparison.

Lynne is responsive both over email and phone - I mostly used email - and her turn around time is great. She is also very flexible about meeting on the weekends.

I used Lettering by Lynne for the addresses on our envelopes, table cards and programs. I am pleased with how they all came out. When I had the envelopes addressed I forgot to give her a few address and she already finished what I gave but she had no problem doing a few more. She took extra card in doing the table cards because the frame we chose had a small branch (wood theme frame) that covered a small portion of the frame. She made sure that all the names were visible and not covered by the branch. Everything was completed in a timely manner. I would defiantly use her again. Another plus, she works evenings and that is great if you work late.

We only used Lynne for calligraphy but she has an expansive selection of invitations, etc. as well. She did a fantastic job with the calligraphy on our wedding invitations! Wow, I never thought that someone would know as much about their craft, have as many options or listen as patiently as Lynne did. She was simply wonderful, and provided wonderful, invitations, response cards and programs for us. She is incredibly knowledgeable and experienced.

Additionally, she did not panic when I found that I had made several serious editing errors on my program and, in fact, calmed me down by telling me that it was an honest mistake and not to stress out. She fixed the problem immediately and provided excellent (property edited) programs for our ceremony.

I had several guests go out of their way to inform me how beautiful they thought the invitations were. Of course, I agreed, but what a compliment!

Also, Lynne did a fabulous job printing our envelopes! Thank goodness for that - talk about gorgeous!

We hired Lynne to do our envelopes for our wedding invitations. Lynne was very easy to work with and responded quickly to all of my questions. Lynne did such an amazing job with our invitations that we asked her if she could also do our escort cards. We decided to name each table a metro stop (since we are from D.C.) and have the escort cards look like metro tickets. Lynne printed the metro tickets to look exactly like the real ones! Not only was Lynne's work amazing and timely, it was also very cost effective. I would definitely recommend Lettering by Lynne to any bride.

Lynne was fabulous to work with. Compared to most places we went, she was personable, and spend so much time with us to make sure we were happy. Lynne provided absolutely exquisite menu cards and reception table cards for our wedding. When we first arrived, we weren't sure what design we wanted but she guided us through all the choices until we found the perfect one. The cost for the menu cards and reception cards were very reasonable, and actually came in below our budget! I would highly recommended her services!

Lynne is hugely professional and wonderful at what she does. She did all of the calligraphy and printing of my invitation envelopes (outer and inner), menus, programs, place cards, and escort cards. Everything was stunning. She also took the time to send me proofs of my pieces to ensure I was happy with everything before it went to print. She must have spent hours going back and forth with me on the format of the program and menu, but she didn't charge extra for this laborious process. She is wonderful!!

Lynne completed our invitation envelopes, programs, gift bags, place cards and napkins. She responded to our emails and calls in a quick manner, and the work was done quickly, and the finished product was high quality. Lynne worked to find exactly what we were looking for and provide it within our time constraints. She was available to meet on weekends and provided proofs and estimates via email. We bought our wedding invitations, rehearsal dinner invitations, programs, menu cards, and place cards from Lynne. She also handled the computerized calligraphy for the addresses and names on the place cards. She matched the pink color on our menus and place cards to the ribbon and napkin color that we used!
It was a pleasure doing business with Lynne.

Lynne was wonderful to work with. We had very little time to send out our invitations and she took us in immediately. She was increadibly flexible with time and you felt that she truely wanted the invitations to be right. Lynne is also a very good vendor to work with because she has a lot of selection to choose from at all price points.
We had several compliments about our invitations and we have Lynne to thank for that.

Lettering by Lynne was the best part about planning my wedding. Lynne was very helpful, very knowledgable and accomodating. I wish I would have bought all of the wedding paper products through Lettering by Lynne. She did a very impressive job on addressing my envelopes by using electronic caligraphy. The envelopes looked beautiful! And I got many compliments on them. She also printed beautiful table place cards. I also ordered napkins, which were at a great price.

Lynne was fantastic! She has hundreds of paper samples for everything to help you get a feel for exact color as well as the quality of the paper. Additionally, she goes the extra mile to work with you in ensuring that your ideas are transposed into the actual order. Lettering by Lynne, which is operated by Lynne Sandler, provided beautiful stationary items for my husband's and my wedding on June, 14 2008. Specifically, we ordered invitations, reply cards, thank you cards, a framed seating chart, wedding programs, and place cards from her. Everything we ordered was created in a timely manner and was what we had discussed. Lynne also educated us in wedding etiquette, which was very helpful. Lynne was also very flexible in accommodating our last minute requests. We added the framed seating chart about a week before our wedding and it definitely added a touch of elegance to our reception. Additionally, our catering staff wanted us to add color dots onto the place cards to indicate each guest's meal choice. Lynne was able to print color dots on the place cards for us, which saved us the time and effort of doing it ourselves. It certainly looked more professional too! I was extremely pleased with her services and would not hesitate to recommend her.
