First and foremost, Rich and Shelby are each amazing human beings and simply a pleasure to chat with. They took the time to get to know us as a couple, but also as individuals, which was evident in the ceremony and photos. The entire experience was personal and intimate -- exactly what we wanted.
At every wedding I've ever been to the planners seemed super annoyed, were rude, and rushed everyone through to maintain a super rigid schedule. Rich and Shelby brought exactly the opposite energy -- they were overjoyed to be there with us, a delight at every step, and moved at our pace so we could truly experience every moment.
What's most important to me, though, is they always set proper, realistic expectations, and followed through on everything they said.
I am not in any way, even the slightest bit disappointed with our decision to hire Let's Knot & Say We Did to handle our wedding. -

As a wedding designer from New York and in this Wedding industry, I can definitely say it is very hard to pull something off in two days, especially when it’s not in the same state and you have no idea who the vendors are. I must say I was truly lucky with this one. I reached out to Arizona Elopement Collective for my brother's proposal that I had been planning in New York. It was just impossible to find places. When my brother finally decided that Arizona was the location, I started searching on Google and looking at Instagram photos for over an hour. Then, I came across Rich & Shelby Satnam at Arizona Elopement Collective. To say that I’m truly grateful is an understatement.
I thank you for the thousand phone calls you had to answer. I thank you for the million text messages you had to reply to. I think at one point I thought they might just block me lol. Thank you for making me feel as if I was part of the proposal even though I was missing out. Thank you for sending me videos and updating me with reactions along the way. I couldn’t have done this without their help in planning this entire trip. We had the best photographers and videographers. THEY EVEN HELPED ME PICK OUT A BEAUTIFUL BOUQUET WITH A SPECIFIC COLOR REQUEST and made sure that all of this was still a surprise. Rich and Shelby went above and beyond for someone all the way from New York. My little brother's proposal meant everything to me, and I have to say that they excelled every step of the way. I thank you both from the bottom of my heart and I truly hope that your business continues to flourish.
Thank you for making couples as happy as you made my brother and Gabby. They were so thrilled and ecstatic, and you both were patient. Thank you, thank you, thank you. -

We knew we wanted to elope, but we had no idea where to start. From the first call, Rich, Shelby, and the Arizona Elopement Collective team handled every detail and made our vision come to life. Florals, hair and makeup, ceremony and logistics, it was all taken care of! It was a day more perfect than we could ever plan ourselves. Everyone on the team was kind, professional, and genuinely happy to be part of our day. We never felt stressed or rushed. They gave us moments to breathe, laugh, take it all in, and just be together as a couple. Our guests kept saying how perfect everything felt, and we totally agree. Now we're home, still walking on air, and we keep talking about how happy we are to have done it this way and so thankful we trusted this amazing team with our story. Ok so you fell in love with your fiancé, are you ready to fall in love again with the most amazing wedding planners? Your answer should definitely be YES! I won't accept anything less than that. If you accept anything less than that then go somewhere else that will take all your money and leave you stressed out; otherwise, keep reading.
When I say that the only thing we had to worry about was where to eat for dinner the night of our wedding, I'm not joking. For whatever reason that was still the hardest decision to make and Rich & Shelby still made that easy with all their recommendations. They took care of literally everything! EVERYTHING! That doesn't come with giving a little something....trust. You can definitely be as involved as you want to be in this process, and we decided to let the collective do most of the decision making, all we had to do was send the inspo. Their photographer and videographers are incredible. I didn't even do a hair and make up trial, literally met her day of and it SLAYED! Flowers, sent inspo, it was so beautiful that we decided to preserve it in resin. They provide a detailed list of the things you need, so you don't have to think about it. They come up with the entire wedding timeline, they even help you by laying out options so you can choose your own adventure, quite literally. We went off roading for our wedding and had an absolute BLAST!
My husband and I have been to quite a few weddings and we've seen people stressed out throughout the process. We got to date each other throughout ours. It's a lot mentally, emotionally, financially, to plan a wedding. The collective helps eliminate most of that stress so you get to enjoy being engaged. You get to enjoy your wedding day. Working with the collective was the best wedding decision we made and we would do it all over again in a heartbeat. Rich, Shelby, their vendors, and entire team are truly amazing and caring people. We will always recommend them for small, intimate, elopement style weddings. -

I mean, 5 stars doesn’t even do them justice. This was by far the best decision I have ever made in my life. We were slightly nervous about eloping and missing out on a traditional wedding. Absolute nonsense. Rich & Shelby organized the single most intimate, stress free, beautiful, fun, exhilarating experience my husband and I have ever experienced. Every detail was thought of. The best part was we didn’t have to do any of it!! We just got to show up.
Things I’ve heard about traditional weddings; “it was a blur, I don’t remember any of it.” “There was so much family drama.” “We barely got alone time because we were visiting with so many people” “I was so nervous I blacked out”. The list goes on.
We left this expierence with an even deeper love for each other than I ever knew possible. It truly felt like the whole day was made for us. Even the weather. Rich and Shelby are absolute angels and I wish everyone could expierence their presence. I wish words could make the reader understand the level of happiness and emotion Rich & Shelby can pull out of a 6 hour experience. 10/10 would recommend. -

Our experience with Arizona Elopement Collective was incredible. Rich, Shelby & their team went above and beyond to make our entire experience so laid back and fun. They really took the time to get to know us and get an idea of what we wanted. We even had family complement how Rich, our officiant, spoke like he had known us forever. They took care of every little detail of our day and I honestly never imagined it could be so relaxing and easy. We felt totally taken care of, and our whole day exceeded our expectations! 100% recommend if you want to ditch the chaos of a traditional wedding and feel fully present in the moment with the people you love the most! -

Easily the BEST decision we made: booking Arizona Elopement Collective! Rich and Shelby delivered on all fronts- they're incredible humans, they made our wedding planning process fun and stress-free, and day-off logistics went seamlessly! 2 days before our wedding, it dumped snow in Sedona. Rich took matters into his own hands and went out to inspect the trails that were still open. In less than 24 hours, he came up with a new plan that worked out so well, we can't even imagine how our Plan A would have been better!!
We are so happy with how everything turned out from Bridal Yoga (led by Shelby who did a fantastic job), the bouquet/bout, and of course, our wedding photos. The whole team was incredible! Special shout-outs to Bobbie who did an amazing job with hair and make-up, as well as Paige who captured the best day of our lives with beautiful photography. Rich officiated our ceremony and it was the perfect blend of joy, humor, and passion.
Arizona Elopement Collective helped us cultivate the best day of our lives and we are eternally grateful. We can't recommend them enough!!!

Working with AEC made our wedding one that I didn’t even know could exist. We got to make it our own, and the team took the time to get to know us as a couple to make it even more personalized. Our guests even thought Rich was a friend of ours based on his officiant speech! The photos…I cannot even say enough good things about them. They are stunning, dreamy, and everything we could have ever wanted for wedding photos. Not only do we have perfect couple photos, but Shelby and her 2nd photographer captured beautiful moments of our guests. Outside of the actual wedding day, they were great at communication and responded in a timely matter. -

There's no amount of words or stars that can describe the experience of my wedding ceremony. Rich gave my new husband and I EXACTLY the energy and emotion that we wanted. We are a slightly unorthodox couple and he captured that perfectly. I love that he took the time to get to know my husband and I personally. I don’t even know where to start. Our wedding was impeccable and very intimate, everything we had hoped for. They were willing to adapt, and really help us out with every detail. Warning: a well deserved word vomit.. and if I could write more without losing total interest I would.
My husband and I could not have envisioned our day being any more special/personal/intimate. Rich and Shelby are hands down some of the most incredible humans we've ever met. We had a vision and they brought it to LIFE! They were there for us every step of the way- from the our first zoom "interview" to parting our ways post ceremony-- they even stopped by our reception, how cool?! We are so extremely grateful for their genuine commitment to their customers' happiness and to bringing out the authenticity of our relationship and channeling into the most beautiful, unforgettable ceremony ever. Rich officiating, Shelby capturing the day.. the whole package!! They were our people for about 7 months. They were (are) accessible, reliable, and brilliant. They've touched us beyond our wedding; inspired us to both live a life more freely and true to ourselves. We never dreamt we would connect with a "wedding planner" so much- but what they offer is different. You won't understand until you experience it. Highly recommend, hands down. Felt like a break up when our wedding was over- even though I'm 99% sure neither one of them would hesitate to answer a random call from us. We wouldn't change a single thing. -

I cannot say enough amazing things about Rich and Shelby. When we were trying to decide what we wanted for our wedding, their website spoke to us. You could tell based off of everything they wrote that their hearts and souls are present in helping couples have an amazing wedding experience. After our first meeting with them, I knew that we had made a great selection and it felt like I had known them forever. It made the whole process so much more comfortable. They did such an awesome job at making our wedding day unique and special to us, as well as stress free. The ceremony that Rich created meshed perfectly with our vows. Everyone was blown away by how it was organic and specially crafted just for us. To top it off, Shelby killed it with her amazing wedding photos. She absolutely blew us away and we had a fun, relaxed time taking them. It wasn't awkward posing but us just being ourselves and her catching amazing moments on camera. The whole day was perfect and I cannot thank them enough for their help. They are both genuine, lovely souls and I am so happy that they were with us on one of the most important days of our lives! -

Amazing, amazing, amazing!
Rich & Shelby were amazing! My wife and I decided to hire a wedding planner because at the time she was on a temporary work relocation to Africa and I was living in California. Between time differences and general availability, it seemed like all planning odds were against us. However, Rich & Shelby came through, meeting all of our requirements which wasn't easy given the fact that we also were planning a destination wedding. I mean, talk about a lot of variables and requirements! The wedding turned out perfect, and the picture locations afterwards were even better! It was an experience that couldn't have been better, all thanks to Rich & Shelby. They stuck with us for over 6 months, planning and getting to know us, so the day would turn out perfect. They really went above and beyond making the day really special. I highly recommend them! -

We absolutely cannot say enough wonderful things about Let’s knot and say we did. First off- GENIUSES in their craft. They are both so creative, intentional, and refined in what they do. The really are a dream team. Shelby behind the camera and envisioning the space was better than I could have even imagined and Rich— wow what a perfect officiant. We had both done the big wedding and I’m sure that works well for some people but it wasn’t the case with us. We knew we wanted to celebrate us, but we wanted it to be about US… not everyone else. (Sorry fam!) I knew nothing about adventure elopements (or just elopements in general) and was very timid to pull the trigger because of price. I’d met with another company and the process wasn’t clear- except the need for a 10k down payment. From our very first meeting Rich and Shelby took the time to listen to what we wanted, explained how pricing worked, (what was due and why) and truly made our vision come to life —- and then some! We wanted to get married in Glacier and They were willing to travel for us, pull others in for us, even went out of their way to make recs on things not included in our package! Rich and Shelby took the time to get to know us. They made our ceremony surrounded around US, our love, our commitment, and our adventure together. I cannot imagine a better experience and cannot recommend them enough. If you’re a couple toying with the idea of eloping, call them. -

Rich from Let’s Knot and Say We Did is seriously the best of the best. From the very beginning he was so kind and took the time to set up a Zoom call to know myself and my now husband. We also later on met up in person to really get to know one another and discuss what was important for us to be included in our ceremony. Rich takes his job very seriously and did such a great job taking notes during our meeting and asking important questions to ensure all was being covered. Shortly after our in-person meet up we received a thoughtful gift from Rich showing his enthusiasm towards our ceremony. It was such a thoughtful touch. Rich was amazing to work with and excellent at being responsive for any inquiry. It goes without saying that he put together an amazing ceremony for us and our guest. Down to earth, genuine, loving group of people
We used Let's knot for pre-marital counseling and officiating at our wedding. The counseling was very insightful and helped my husband and I address some underlying issues. For our ceremony we had the opportunity of working with Brittany, who is by far the sweetest most grounding soul in existence. Brittany captured the essence of us and was able to script a ceremony completely tailored to us and our love. We got so may complements from our guests on what a beautiful ceremony it was and many people asking if our officiant was a lifelong friend since she knew us so well. Would recommend Brittany with all my heart. She will keep you present, grounded, and guide you through your vows with ease. -

Rich was an outstanding officiant for our wedding! This role is critical to make the ceremony come to life, and Rich is an absolute professional. Rich worked closely with us leading up to our wedding date and with his calm, comforting style, assured us that everything will go smoothly. On top of listening to our story and incorporating deep personal elements into his words, he helped us prepare our vows and gave us ideas for unique unity cermonies. Rich will cater to anyone's wedding event style; in our case it was formal and he dressed very well and brought a grounded energy that truly made a memorable moment; this is not a simple feat, as the bride and groom are nervous, and being ushered around on a tight schedule - he made us and our guests feel present and we are so glad we experienced such a once in a lifetime cermony under his lead. Rich was referred to me by a mutual friend and I couldn’t be happier that he was. We originally thought we wanted one of our friends to officiate our wedding but ultimately didn’t want to burden them with the pressure. We wanted a professional but also wanted it to feel special. I can’t say this enough but Rich was PERFECT.
In our initial meeting with Rich, he said that his goal was to have people at our wedding ask us how long Rich has known us. His ceremony tied in everything about Rachel and I as a couple which lead to people all night being SHOCKED to find out the Rich wasn’t actually a lifelong friend of ours. I can’t recommend Rich enough. We had a perfect wedding, with an extremely professional officiant and it was just so refreshing to see how much Rich actually loves Love. -

Phenomenal people!
Rich and Shelby are absolute rockstars! We contacted this fabulous couple about our adventure elopement and they seamlessly orchestrated a day we will never forget. From the thoughtful prep calls, to the very clear and easy “to-do” tasks (IE picking meaningful songs on your wedding day, etc), to providing guidance on writing personal vows…they made getting married easy, free from stress and focused on the most important thing - LOVE. Rich weaved our story into the ceremony, personalizing our special day and Shelby captured photos we have only seen in magazines. I feel like no words can really do justice to just how amazing, and thoughtfully put together our wedding day was. From our first FaceTime with Rich and Shelby we knew that this was exactly how we wanted to get married, and who we wanted to be married by. They are so kind, and immediately it felt like we were talking to friends when planning everything. Sean and I were struggling hard to plan a wedding prior to our decision to elope because the entire idea of a big wedding, or even a small backyard wedding, just didn't feel like "us." When we started playing around with the idea of eloping, I had this big idea of getting married in the desert even though I've never seen one in real life. And that thankfully led us to find Let's Knot Weddings. The ceremony that Rich created was so beautiful, and perfectly curated for Sean and I. Listening to him tell the story of us to us was captivating. From our heart opening ceremony, to saying our vows wrapped up in our unity ceremony blanket, the entire experience was a dream come true. We will remember it forever and can't thank him enough for all his hard work. Shelby, who literally helped me into my dress with a million buttons, and made me cry while singing our first dance, her pictures are too stunning for words. Toting around my huge dress didn't even feel like a chore while she directed and posed us for shots. She is effortlessly amazing at what she does and we can't wait to receive the rest of the photos. Thank you for taking care of every detail, the permit for Horseshoe Bend, coordinating hair and makeup, my bouquet and his boutonnière, our beautiful music from Josh, and everything else that made our day so special. This is a long overdue review and it’s going to be lengthy because this team deserves it. When I got engaged to my now husband I had no idea how hard it was going to be to plan a wedding in the midst of a pandemic. Being from the other side of the globe planning a wedding in the United States was just overwhelming. I had no idea how or when the wedding would happen. I just knew one thing, I wanted to get married to my wonderful husband, have our parents there and celebrate our love. Obviously like any bride to be I started doing an extensive research into wedding planners and all-inclusive packages. All that I was presented with was pages and pages of brochures with no human contact really. I came across Let’s Knot at the very end and knew instantly if anyone was going to marry us it had to be them. The website truly represents what they stand for. Within days of reaching out Rich and Shelby arranged for us to meet virtually and in person and iron out some details. I still remember getting off the call me and my husband said to each other, ‘Hell yeah these guys are getting us married!’ Over the next few weeks Rich, Shelby and the entire team got in touch with us to get to know the tiny little details that even I wouldn’t have thought of. They planned EVERY SINGLE thing, the decor, flowers, music, unity ceremony, make up and even our Limo ride. All I did was get dressed on the day of the wedding, enjoy a nice brunch with my mum and dad and drive down to the ceremony. I was stress free knowing exactly what was going to happen and when, because guess what they even gave me an itinerary with all the parts of the ceremony. On the day of the wedding Rich reached out and made sure we were feeling great, the ceremony was amazing and heartfelt. While we clicked couples pictures he even hung out with our parents. My father-in-law said that it seemed as though Rich really knew us as he was officiating our wedding. All the details everything, mind-blowing. The memory of the day is still fresh in my mind. Rich really helped us celebrate our love in the most unique way. If you are someone who is confused, doesn’t know where to start and wants something truly special and intimate don’t look any further. The experience of getting married by Let's Knot in the most intimate setting is something you don't want to miss out on. Did I also mention that they pulled all this off in less than three weeks after I contacted them? Yep, that’s how AWESOME they are! -

Rich was absolutely everything we could have dreamed of and more. He made our ceremony absolutely unique and did not have a pre-recorded "script" that he stuck to. We postponed our Fall 2020 wedding to Fall 2021; however, a variety of both lingering and new hurdles brought about the decision to scrap everything and elope instead (someplace gorgeous and in nature). We came across Let’s Knot & Say We Did via Instagram during the summer and through their posts, we found a large part of the courage to make the jump on the elopement plan as we were instantly drawn to Rich and Shelby’s beaming smiles and obvious joy in doing what they do. From those posts to the introductory video call to email communications and eventually to meeting in person on our elopement day, their energy was infectious! Rich was engaged and always on top of any communications, and he offered a very warm and confidence-inspiring response when my husband reached out looking for reassurance about a unique style for his vows. On our special day, Rich led us through a beautiful, relaxed and customized ceremony (and Shelby sang for us with soft yet lifting vocals) where we felt very comfortable letting tears flow while expressing our love and promises through hand-written vows. Rich and Shelby took care of every little detail - from arranging all the vendors to helping our parents to and from the ceremony site, ensuring we didn’t leave anything behind at the site to presenting us with a special surprise, and even filing the marriage license for us. Brittany from Let's Knot & Say We Did was our elopement officiant just a few weeks ago in Sedona, AZ. Our ceremony was our favorite part of the special day and a huge reason for that is because of Brittany. The ceremony script she wrote for us was filled with the most authentic, emotional and perfect words. Brittany took the time to get to know us leading up to our elopement and we felt like we've known her our whole lives by the time the ceremony was done! Rich and Shelby made our wedding so perfect! Even my husband is raving about how amazing, beautiful and easy this wedding process was! I could tell from their website that Rich and Shelby would be the prefect officiant and photographer for our wedding and I couldn't have been more right. This team is beyond amazing. Rich and Shelby made our day so personal, and it was everything we wanted. They take care of literally every single detail (even details I didn’t know about lol!)
We live in Kentucky, and planned our elopement to Sedona remotely. We were a little nervous, because neither of us had ever been to Arizona, and we had never eloped either lol! We just didn’t really know what to expect. But, there was no reason to be nervous about anything, because the day went perfectly. The video calls during the planning phase really help, but Rich and Shelby leave nothing to chance in making sure the day goes smooth. They even create a timeline for your day, and it was spot on!
Rich helps you truly appreciate and realize what is happening on your wedding day, and he is there celebrating with you the entire time. He was so prepared and had immersed himself in our day, it was awesome! He even encouraged us to write our own vows, and I’m so glad we did. Rich could have not written a more perfect and beautiful version of our love story for our wedding ceremony. We definitely felt our love being celebrated that day,
Shelby has such a welcoming vibe to her. Not only is she one of the most precious souls I’ve ever met, she is an extremely talented photographer. She made everything so fun and light hearted, definitely what is needed on what could be a stressful day. We are so thankful that Shelby was there to capture our day from her camera. Her passion for her craft is appreciated and applauded.

Let me start by saying you are doing yourself a huge disservice if you don’t allow Rich and Shelby to create your dream wedding . They create absolute magic and I still can’t get over how smooth our day was!
My fiancé and I were one of the couples whose international wedding got cancelled due to Covid last year, and we were totally bummed and lost trying to figure out how to start from scratch again. One day I came across the Let’s Knot website, died at the sound of it at all and what they could possibly provide, submitted a request form, and literally within a few hours Rich had already reached out about setting up a phone call to discuss details.
From that day forward everything was a walk in the park. We picked a date that only gave Rich and Shelby 6 weeks to plan, but our wedding day literally could not have been more beautifully organized and well delivered.
We chose one of the all inclusive elopements, and it was worth every ounce. We are from MD so Rich and Shelby literally scouted Sedona AZ to find the perfect ceremony site for us, they set up/ broke down ceremony decor, hired and delivered the florals, hired the violinist, hired us a personal driver, handled every ounce of communication with all of the vendors, formalized a detailed itinerary for us and our parents, and best of all Rich delivered a magnificent officiating ceremony that left everyone in happy tears. Our parents still cannot stop talking about how impressed they were with everything.
The energy these two give off is infectious and they are not only great to work with but honestly just really cool people to talk to. We were so excited for our day but also to just meet them! Shelby is always smiling and Rich is always making sure all parties are happy. They are so perfect at what they do that we still feel like we’re soaring on a high. HIRE LETS KNOT AND SAY WE DID! -

Before my wedding day I stressed over the normal things such as venue, florist, photographer, although those things are also a huge part of a wedding it’s not why my guests chose to take time out of their lives and decided to spend the day with us. The main event is the ceremony to celebrate our love and watch us tie the “knot”! That’s why we chose Rich as our officiant, he brought our lives and love alive in a way that we simply couldn’t have done. Rich is an AMAZING and incredibly gifted officiant!! We could not have asked for a better officiant on our wedding day!
Our hopes for an officiant was that on the day of our wedding, they sounded as if they knew us for our lifetime. An officiant that could tell our story and our journey together as a couple that brought us together.
The ceremony on our wedding day made us cry tears of joy hearing our story come together through the reading. Rich took our words and feelings for one another and put it in the most beautiful, heartfelt, and accurate reading. Everything flowed so well, it was personalized, and we felt the love.
After the wedding, I had guests come up to me asking if he knew us and complimented how beautiful our ceremony was.

My wife and I are deeply grateful for everything Rich and Shelby put together for our Sedona elopement. We never, ever, ever could have done this without their expertise.
In terms of logistics like wrangling transportation, hair and makeup, photography, and amazing restaurant reservations - they proved invaluable. When it came to the nuances like sending us a pre-wedding gift, providing a much needed sandwich for the ladies prior to ceremony, and writing a wonderful oration - they knocked it out of the park. Rich and Shelby are a tier-1 choice for anyone interested in creating an unforgettable Sonoma experience.

Perfect, Personalized Ceremony
My husband and I had no idea where to begin when it came to searching for an officiant. We originally had planned to have a friend officiate our wedding, but due to a 2020-wedding reschedule, we ended up needing an officiant. We're actually so happy things ended up that way! Rich was perfect. He put us at ease from our first phone call! He's extremely professional, kind and honest. He also clearly loves to celebrate love, and that was really important for us. While we aren't a religious couple, we wanted our ceremony to reflect the love story that brought us to our wedding day-- with a hint of spirituality to bring together our new families. My husband and I aren't terribly traditional, and even asked Rich is he was comfortable guiding us through a Cocktail Unity Ceremony during the wedding. He wasn't just willing, but excited to help in our fun and different ceremony. Rich perfectly executed all our requests! He even added a little humor, with a nod to our favorite fast food stop and our puppy! Rich was incredibly responsive throughout the planning process, and gave us tips on how to write our own vows. At the end, he made sure our ceremony was emotional, full of love, and happiness. We had more than a few family members tell us they couldn't hold back the tears! Amazing!
We Cannot say enough good things about our experience with Rich. Everything about our ceremony was so personal to us—he made sure to include touches from my Hindu traditions as well as honoring loved ones that couldn’t be with us.
