Finding a wedding planner is a deeply personal endeavor. You aren’t just looking for a project manager; you’re looking for someone who internalizes your vision, honors your feedback, and treats your happiness as their own. We struck absolute gold with Leti, Mercedes, Perla, and their incredible team. As someone seasoned in event planning and navigating a demanding high-pressure career, I thought I knew what to expect - but I would have been completely lost without them.
Their accessibility is unparalleled. The peace of mind they provide is the greatest gift; knowing I could pick up the phone on a Friday night to offload my stress and be met with nothing but love and solutions was a total game-changer. They don’t just manage a wedding; they orchestrate an experience. It’s no surprise our other vendors loved working with them; they created a seamless energy that set the tone for the entire process.On the day of our wedding, their execution was masterful. They navigated timeline hiccups and family photo logistics with calmness that allowed us to actually be present.
Now - let’s talk about the decor. Mercedes hit it out of the park. When we first came to her with our “vision” it was so vague, only a seasoned professional could turn it into something beautiful. Over the course of several months, Mercedes took time to really get to the heart of what we wanted and share ideas that brought those concepts to life. In the end, the decor was nothing short of breathtaking - a total transformation from a loose vision to reality that left us in awe. From the welcome area to the ceremony and reception, the finished product was absolute perfection.

The Best Wedding Planner
Yes, you need a wedding planner! Leticia & Mercedes were absolutely amazing to work with. They were incredibly professional & organized. My daughter’s wedding was held at the UC Berkeley Botanical Gardens which involved a variety of vendors. Leticia managed them all & the event was spectacular. She ran the rehearsal and was present the entire wedding day, ensuring all ran smoothly. We could not have done this without her. Highly recommend!! -

From our very first messages back and forth to their well-wishes after my wedding was over, my experience with a Leticia and Mercedes was more than I could have hoped for. Their expertise and experience allowed my husband and I to offload a much of the day’s stress onto their shoulders. Hiring them was one of the best decisions I made for my wedding, as it allowed us to more fully enjoy the moment with our loved ones.
Leticia and Mercedes are quick to respond, welcome communication, and will make you feel heard. I described the vision I had for my wedding, and they turned it into reality. Leticia and Mercedes can coordinate your wedding, but they also offer other services, like confections, decorations and floral arrangements. This all in one solution made my life so much easier. Mercedes’ decorations and floral arrangements were even more beautiful than I had hoped for. They have great ideas to help you plan out the itinerary for your event: without their ideas, I don’t think as many of my guests would have joined us on the dance floor!
I highly recommend anyone who is considering hiring them as coordinators/planners/decorators to do the same.
You will not regret it. I am so thankful they were part of the best day of my life. -

We hired Leticia’s Confections & Events for my son Ethan and his wife Tayler’s wedding reception on April 28, 2023. The wedding reception was amazing! We were so happy with the results. It was beautiful and exactly what we wanted. A dream come true. We have wonderful memories that we will never forget. I love that Leticia’s Confections & Events is a one-stop shop. We hired Leticia & her team for the event coordination, cake, catering, florist, decorations and DJ. They are all fantastic, very talented and we enjoyed working with all of them. Leticia’s cake was beautiful and tasted amazing! We love that she gave us samples of the cake flavors, fillings, frostings of our choices to make sure we liked it first. Leticia also helped us with our venue selection, which we are so grateful. Leticia & her team were flexible and worked within our short timeline. She is detailed, organized, fun, a great person to work with and was always available anytime we had questions. You can count on Leticia & her wonderful team to make your dreams a reality! Best Wedding Planner!
Leticia and her team were absolutely AMAZING! She’s so responsive and has awesome ideas when you can’t think of how to do something. She’s timely, she goes by your schedule, she’s so funny, and just wonderfully organized. If you hire her team, you have nothing to worry or think about for your event. They take care of everything and I would hire them all over again! I plan to hire them for all my future events. 😊 -

I hired leticia for my wedding on august 27, 2022..
She was hired for flowers, cake, and decorations for the event. She was absolutely wonderful the whole time. She drove over an hour to come see the venue and map out ideas with us and even packed us a cake tasting ice box! Her cake and home made frostings were fantastic, our guests loved it. The flowers and decorations were absolutely beautiful as well. She really listened to what I wanted but also still put her personal touch on it. I was super nervous because I didn’t get to see any of it done until I walked down the aisle but I was not disappointed!! I had guests telling me all night how beautiful and elegant it all was and even my hubby loved it! I really couldn’t have asked for a better day!! -

Rustic wedding
Leticia was amazing and very attentive with everything and especially with small details. I had a lot of changes during the wedding process and she was able to accommodate every demand. I don’t many pictures yet but she did great! She helped soo much. Me and my husband were very pleased! -

Leticia was a big help for my wedding and helping me get organized and made aware of things I have forgotten. She was very responsive and responded in a timely manner. You could contact her anytime. Leticia makes things happen!! I can’t thank her enough for all she did. COVID of course took out our first venue but I wish we went with Leticia from the start. We came to her with one month before our wedding and she found a venue within a day of our liking and asked US what we want our price range to be and she made EVERYTHING happen that we wanted. Leticia took care of everything, and allowed myself and my now husband to focus on our school. She took our vision and brought it to life while allowing it all to be at a comfortable price range that didn’t kill our bank account lol. You will never be disappointed for choosing Leticia. She is the sweetest and funniest person to work with to make your day the most special. She managed to plan our wedding and give us all the attention we needed! Thank you again Leticia for everything!! I never had to worry that things wouldn’t be done. -

Leticia was so easy to work with! From the moment we talked on the phone for our initial consult, we knew we would be choosing her. We tried to keep our options open but after our taste testing appointment it was a sealed deal, I couldn’t even poker face, I didn’t want to call anyone else and we didn’t. Leticia and her partner were just as sweet as her baking. She was very thorough and professional. Also very patient and understanding for us brides that have a lot going on. Please choose her! This review is LONG overdue. My wedding was in June 2016 and we had 4 months to plan the whole thing, an overwhelming task for me, but thanks to Leticia’s incredible organizational skills and ability to coordinate this event, we were able to accomplish it! My wedding turned out beautiful! And the cake was soooo pretty, I almost didn’t want to cut into it! But we did and it was just as delicious on the inside as it was beautiful on the outside! Thank you for being part of our special day Leti; we couldn’t have done it without you and your hard working crew! -

Leticia is very sweet. She made my daughters first birthday cake and smash cake. She did a beautiful job. I sent her pics through email and made my vision come to life! We got a vanilla cake with strawberry mousse and it was delicious. She also delivered the cake to our event which made it easier for us on party day. -

I know, weddings are beautiful, but our wedding was a dream! She went above and beyond my vision for our big day, and came through 100000%. So many details, so beautiful and unique. She took our "styles" or wants and created the perfect setting for both ceremony and reception. From day one, I knew she would be amazing. I feel like she's become part of our family. She really got to know us, was very attentive and responsive, always looked out for things or ideas that she thought we may like. She kept me on track. I have to honestly say I don't think I could have survived planning this wedding if it wasn't for her. She took care of EVERYTHING. Our big day went well, no major issues (that I know of), and if there were, I'm sure she would have resolved them without me even knowing. Her cake was absolutely delicious, and everyone raved about it. I am honored to have been able to get to know her and work with her (and Bob), and feel like I've gained a few more extended family members. I got married a few weeks ago and we hired Leticia for: cake, flowers, centerpieces, signage, other reception details, and help with setting up. She was absolutely amazing and exceeded our expectations. Everything looked even more beautiful than I imagined, she was on time, she was very professional, the quality of her work is impeccable, her attitude is great, she replied quickly to all my emails, she stayed on top of all the details (which was very helpful for me because many of the details were just not on my radar at all!), and she made sure that every last detail was taken care of with the highest level of attention.
I could go on for days about how amazing she is, how much I enjoyed working with her, and how great her work is! I highly recommend her and I would definitely hire her again for future events! -

Since finding Leticia's Confections on Facebook, I faithfully ask upon her to bake magic for my family's Birthday parties and my son's recent graduation party cake plus 2 extra (2 tiered cakes) for the graduation party for his 2 friends joined in the party celebration. Graduation day she delivered the 3 (2 tiered cakes) to the Party venue early and was so bubbly and great to work with especially with so many ideas for the cakes. The cakes looked amazing and were delicious !!!!
If you want amazing, great people who communicate and literally bake your dreams come true..... Leticia's Confections is the way to go, you'll love Leticia and Lily, amazing ladies and beyond talented. I wish i could post pictures of the cakes she's made for my family... Amazing..

I wanted to create a Tangled themed wedding reception for our daughter, since this has always been her favorite movie and part of their love story! Leticia and Mercedes were great to work with and saw my vision. They helped create a magical and fantasy evening. Floral lantern center pieces, gold settings, twinkling lights along with beautiful backdrop area behind the sweet heart table, gave them their own tangled lantern moment in time. My daughter and new son in law, along with family and friends enjoyed the atmosphere, delicious food and cake which added to the celebration. You’re my new beginning is a start to their happily ever after! Thank you for helping to create lasting memories for our loved ones!

Exceptional!
As soon as we met Leticia in person, we loved her! She was incredibly helpful, detail oriented and enthusiastic. During our tasting she offered us additional items to what we had requested and everything was beyond delicious. When the number of attendees at our wedding increased, she adjusted the size of our cake with no problems. Our wedding cake was exactly how we pictured it and tasted so good - we got numerous compliments. In the past, I have always ordered our special occasion cakes from a very popular bakery in Concord but Leticia's cakes taste much better and are much more reasonably priced. Thank you, Leticia! -

All the decorations that I’ve put fight it for her to put up and make beautiful looked at really nice. but I had to retrieve missing items of mines from her days later.🤔 as a professional wedding planner I just felt things was not in order, I also felt it was unprofessional of her to approach me in the middle of my photo shoot when I was getting dress to ask for the other half of her payment, which wasn’t supposed to be due till the end of the night once all my items were packed up out of all my vendors that I hired this one was the one I had a problem with…
