They did a great job of working with our song choices and keeping the party going!

The best DJ around

Alan was so helpful with all the details of our wedding. He is such a professional. He was so good at getting our guests onto the dance floor and talked to each table to get their suggestions on the music.

The Best DJ

Bino is truly the best dj ever! I met my now-husband at a wedding Bino was djing. My husband and I spent the ENTIRE night dancing together at that wedding. As soon as we got a date for the wedding, the very first vendor I called was Bino to make sure Bino would be the dj at our own wedding. I have a big family who throw lots of big parties with djs and EVERYONE came over to ask me where I found Bino so that they could hire him for their next event. My entire family was so impressed by his skills. He had everyone on the dance floor! My husband and I wanted to have a fun and energetic dance party and that's exactly what Bino gave us! He is the best. I can't wait for my next party so I can hire him again. Thank you Bino! You are amazing at what you do!

We had Alan Reno as our DJ for our wedding last week on April 8th. He was wonderful. Cannot stress how good he was with the crowd and keeping the party going. We had a few songs that had cue times and he nailed each one.

Alan was a delight to work with and I would highly recommend him for any party.

Bino did my Bat Mitzvah 13 years ago so when it came time for my wedding we instantly thought of him. He was amazing then and amazing now! He took requests which my guests loved, played our favorite songs, and got my non-dancing crowd on their feet! The venue has a noise ordinance so they stopped their speakers from reaching the volume I know Bino would've preferred, but he did an amazing job getting the energy up with his own enthusiasm and warmth. Bino is a kind, genuine and fun person- all my guests and vendors loved him, and some of my friends even remembered him from my Bat Mitzvah!! I'd definitely recommend him to anyone looking for a DJ, and have already referred him to a few friends!!! Thank you, Bino, for being the best!!!

Alan is the best DJ out there! He had my guests up and partying all night long. He did great with everything, I really can't say enough nice things about him. I mostly talked over the phone or email with Alan before our big day and always got great vibes from him, but he blew everyone away at the wedding. I had soooo many guests and family members tell us what a great DJ we had! One of my friends already asked for their info for their upcoming wedding!

We also booked Let the Music Play for our videographer but I haven't seen any footage yet since it's only been a couple weeks, but I'm sure it will be amazing as well!

I met Bino at a wedding I sang in a few months back and he was by far the best DJ and MC I've ever seen from all the weddings I've attended. He was so entertaining and he got the whole crowd on the dancefloor. I knew I had to have him for my upcoming wedding in October 2016.

He was the first vendor I called and booked. My original wedding date was in November, but we had to change our date due to an out of country relative not being able to make it in November. Bino was able to accommodate this new wedding date. I was extremely happy he was still available.

I highly recommend Bino! You will definitely not regret it!

DJ Alan Reno was absolutely amazing! He got the crowd going from the very beginning of our wedding. He had so much energy and charisma...without being over the top...that it really helped keep the party going all night. He had everyone's name and role down to the dot, and he made us feel as if we'd know him for a long time. We are so glad we hired him, and we'd highly recommend him for a wedding or any event.

The Wedding that everyone still talks about months later is due to the best DJ ever. We used let the music play for our dj and videographer at our wedding. DJs were so much fun and even danced with the crowd during some of the songs. Our videographer was super detailed and didn't miss a beat. We can't wait to see our final wedding video!

I have worked with Alan twice now at weddings where I was the wedding officiant. He is prompt, friendly, helpful and very professional. Alan was professional from the start! We loved his ideas and how easy he was to work with! We had a few meetings to finalize details and the wedding ceremony and reception went off without a hitch! Our guests loved Alan! Many of them commented on how great the DJ was! He did a great job surveying the crowd and their likes which kept the party going! Our guests have told us over and over that our wedding was the best wedding they have ever been to because it was so fun. The reason behind this is because of Bino. He is truly the fun leader and so infectious. He provided everything he promised and so much more. He worked tirelessly the entire time to provide nonstop fun that rubbed off on everyone. Our dance floor was packed the entire time even with guests we didn't expect to be dancing.

I booked Alan Reno and Darryl through my planner. She had highly recommended them. I was on a search for a DJ for a while, not really sure how much I should pay, etc and trying to find the best deal I could. Alan's rate were average amount all the DJs I searched for and he is worth every penny. Alan worked with Darryl throughout my whole wedding and they were so fun! They got all of the guests up and dancing and we got so many comments about how great the music was. Alan also checked on us throughout the night for little things to make sure we were okay or if anything was running behind on the timeline. He was so helpful throughout the night and had such a great attitude about everything. We loved using Alan and Darryl at our wedding and we are so happy we decided to book him!

I booked Alan and Darrell for my wedding at Mountaingate Country Club on June 29th and they were both fantastic. The most important part of the wedding reception is the music. You need the proper music and dj to get your party going. Both Alan and Darrell were very professionally dressed. Alan (the mc) was able to hold the crowd's attention and get the party going. Alan is an expert in his field- between his voice, appearance, and ability to get the crowd involved is so professional that people did not leave until the music stopped playing. Literally we had over 85% of out wedding guests still there until the final song. This is when you know you have booked the right people. They even went around to various wedding tables and took requests to make the guests feel more involved in the party. Darrell was the dj and Alan was the mc. This pair works very well together. He scheduled everything so that it flowed smoothly. He also had all the equipment to play my slideshow and moderated that. My dance floor was full with dancing constantly. I would highly recommend them both! Thank you Alan!

Going with Let the Music Play was one of the best decisions I made for our wedding in March of 2012. I worked with Alan to book Donald as our DJ. It was so incredibly easy working with them. Alan knew everything I wanted and relayed the message to Donald perfectly. Donald, omg, I can't say enough about him as our DJ. He was seriously THE BEST. So much FUN and full of energy! VERY interactive. Got EVERYONE on the dance floor - even my aunts and uncles who don't speak English! He danced with us all and choreographed some of the dance moves for the guys and gals. Everyone one of our guests kept telling us he was the BEST DJ they've ever seen. We set the bar so high for our wedding that everyone keeps telling us that every wedding they went to afterwards was not as fun as ours simply because of Donald. I really can't say enough good things about him. Seriously THE BESTEST EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! HIGHLY recommend!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Trust me!

These guys were great. We met a couple weeks before the wedding for a few hours to go over every last little detail and when the wedding came, everything they promised to do they delivered on. More than just DJ service, they did all the announcements, got the audience involved in dancing so everyone was having a fun time. First saw them at my cousins wedding and knew I had to have them at mine and would recommend for you to have them at yours too, people will be talking about your wedding and all teh fun they had for years to come.

Let the Music Play was the only DJ company we looked at since they came so highly recommended to us. We met with Alan, who explained that the company always sends a 2 person team consisting of a DJ and MC to each event. Alan told us to watch their promotional video that includes clips of each of their MC performers so that we could choose the MC that we felt would best fit our crowd. Ultimately, we chose Alan! He was fantastic. He made sure everything flowed smoothly, stopped by each table during dinner to meet our guests and get a feel for the crowd, and throughout the night knew exactly what to play to keep people on the dance floor. At the end of the night, Alan called all of our guests onto the dance floor for an incredible send off for my husband and me. Most of our guests danced for the entire evening and guests from all age ranges complimented us on the DJs after the wedding. LTMP was very professional, lots of fun and we highly recommend them!

They were amazing! The music for the ceremony was prefect! The music for the reception was so fun! They listened to what we wanted and everything was great! Everyone was dancing the entire night (Including my 87 year old grandpa)!! They were great to work with! The best!

The person i picked to MC was awesome (Darrel), the owner was very wishy washy, i think he wanted me to use him, but he's older and I wanted someone younger. The price was good, but i had a hard time getting communication from them.

Called me less than a week before to finalize song list. At our wedding, they didn't follow our must play list, and played songs off our do not play list, including one twice, that I stated I hated.

It's hard to write this review because as a company, I know, Let The Music Play, is great. Unfortunately, the DJ they sent for our Wedding was not great. Since our wedding was out of the L.A. area, they decided to send a DJ from Orange County that has worked for them a few times, Larry. In a nutshell, Larry the DJ, was unorganized and inconsistent. Although he was nice and had good energy, he just didn't seem to have it together and the music was a disaster. He didn't stick to the order of events as we had asked, he played a version of a song we specifically put on our DO NOT PLAY list, and he got people's names mixed up, and several other things that I won't bore you with. We had given him a list of the dance songs we wanted played, but out of the list of 50 songs on our list, he only played 4-5. The rest were random songs at different tempos and people kept dancing, then sitting down, then dancing for one song, then sitting down. We ended up telling him he could leave early and he knew he didn't do a great job because he apologized to me without me even saying anything to him. He said he could see the disappointment on my face. Even though we said he could go, he kept trying to play songs to make us happy, but it was too late. Our best man had already given him the envelope with the tip I had prepared earlier, but we didn't even want to tip him. After the wedding, I sent an email to the owner of Let the Music Play, to provide feedback and let him know of our dissatisfaction, but what I got back was an email from Larry defending himself and his work. I also got a phone call from another member of Let the Music play to discuss the issues, but we've been playing phone tag so far. All in all, I would not recommend Larry the DJ.

I am a little confused on how to rate Let The Music Play. They came highly recommended to me from my aunt who used them for a party in which I attended. I really enjoyed the DJ so I called and requested the same DJ for my wedding. We dealt with Alan the whole time as far as booking and music and timeline and stuff however Donald was supposed to be our DJ. So you can imagine my surprise when I finish my ceremony and some other guy in jeans with ripped hems and converse chuck Taylors that look about 20 years old comes up to me confirming my playlist and names 5 mins before we are to do our grand entrance! He also said he never got our playlist which I don't know why I was just now hearing about that 5 mins before the reception.

My husband then told him that I like Beyonce and that he likes 80s RnB, Mint Condition, New Edition etc. These people did not play any Beyonce until just before we were to walk out because someone requested it and I did not hear not one Mint Condition or New Edition song played either.

All of our guests enjoyed themselves and danced the whole night-which is why I am confused on how to rate these people-however my husband and I were quite disappointed that music we wanted to hear was not played. We have tried to call them several times since the wedding to at least get an explanation of what happened to the DJ I originally requested and to maybe settle things but Alan has refused to return our calls. I find it a very unfortunate thing considering he came highly recommended to me you would think he would try and make things right-just a simple phone call with apology would of been nice.

Complete Disappointment

Doesn’t every bride dream of walking down the aisle to “your sex takes me to paradise”? No, I didn’t think so because I didn’t either. The DJ I requested a year in advance DID NOT SHOW UP so they sent someone else who completely messed up the music for our ceremony. My husband and I walked down the aisle together to Bruno Mars singing “YOUR SEX TAKES ME TO PARADISE.” I was completely mortified. Glad my Grandma and all of my friends and family think that’s the song I picked. Almost a year later and I still don’t think its funny. I had request MAYBE 10 songs that I wanted to be played and he didn’t play any of them. I was so disappointed with the choice in music even after talking with the DJ and asking him to play different music. My guest hardly danced. I should have learned my lesson because my sister used this company and the DJ didn’t show up for her wedding either. So unprofessional, difficult to get ahold of and truly felt like this company ruined my wedding day. Zero stars to this company. Huge let down.

Very unfortunate end to this business relationship. Bino double-charged us for his services after signing a written contract and has refused to refund the overcharge after our many attempts to reach out and give him time to resolve his mistake. Would absolutely not recommend Bino to anyone.

Do not book this vendor! Beware that they do not give the deposit back. I paid close to $3K for the deposit 18 months prior to the event. When I had to change the date, more than one year out - they were unavailable and would not refund any of the money. They were able to rebook the original date as well and still did not refund any of the money. Once they received the money they became completely unresponsive!!!! I sent emails, calls and no return. I have also seen them at some events I have recently been too (only Bino Bates - beware he is the worst!) and the party he puts on is not great.
