Must Have!

If you are ever on the fence about whether you should hire a Videographer or not, get off the fence and do it! You will NOT regret having video of such a special day and memories that are captured. Leslee and her team are top notch! They capture your moments without feeling invasive and have a way of making you feel comfortable even when you might be scared to be recorded! She was my non-negotiable for the wedding and was so worth it!

My mom died right after our wedding. Leslee told the story perfectly.

First I’d like to start by saying I’ve carried tremendous guilt for the amount of time it’s taken for me to write this review. In short, hire Leslee. She’s talented, creative, kind and embodies the true spirit of what all wedding professionals aspire to be. You will gain a dear friend in Leslee and cherish your video for the rest of your life.

Here’s the long version of why you should hire Leslee. She may be able to do for you exactly what she did for me - capture moments that I will never be able to put a price on. Leslee captured all that became of my wedding. This included one of the very last moments I had with my mom.

We got engaged in June of 2018 and began wedding planning immediately because my mom was dying from an aggressive brain cancer and I knew she just had to be there so we whipped up a wedding in four months.

I had met Leslee at a workshop for OKC wedding vendors when I was in the industry but hadn’t kept in touch aside from the occasional Instagram like. I don’t believe it was anything other than God that put Leslee and I together at that event way back then. Fast forward probably five-ish years to August of 2018 and I’m scrolling through IG while in the ER with my mom. I see a post from Leslee and I feel what could have only been a divine power encourage me to message her and explain what I think my wedding would look like and see if she thought she could help me document it since I knew my time with my mom in this life was coming to an end. She immediately jumped into action and formed a plan that would be just perfect for us.

We never got to that plan. The week of our wedding, my mom was clearly in her last days and we knew there was no way she would be at the wedding we’d planned together. We put together a wedding in the chapel of the hospital the day before we were supposed to have our actual wedding. I honestly don’t even remember calling Leslee to tell her about the hospital wedding. I just know she was there and in the midst of my tears thinking this can’t be happening, Leslee was there to make me laugh when she told me where she needed to hide the battery pack for the microphone. She was the calm I needed in that moment and was able to be both a friend and creative professional when I couldn’t even process what was happening. I still cry just thinking about how blessed we were to have her in that moment. Thanks to Leslee, I have a video of the very last time I got to talk to my mom.

We ended up having our actual wedding but left early to go say goodbye to our mom. A couple of weeks after the wedding/funeral, Leslee invited us over to do an interview to fill in some of the pieces of our story. The final video really can speak for itself. Leslee is such a gem and I cherish the treasure she gave us in that final video.

Our wedding really seemed more like a nightmare when we were living it and I had no idea how she was even going to make this a decent film. I really would have been happy with the raw footage (which we also got) that we would watch all piled together like the rest of all of our home videos. Leslee was able to cut to the truth of the story which actually is so beautiful and a side to our story that I never even knew existed. Leslee’s video gave me some real peace about the entire experience and I will never be able to thank her enough for that.

She was so great! She was exactly what I was looking for when it came time for a top notch videographer. She was not demanding at all which made the day more relaxed and less stressful. She only needed at most 30mins of my time, and she caught the rest of it in the moment! Everything that was filmed in my video was super genuine and special. She even worked great with my photographer! The video was exactly what I was looking for, and she got it back to me very quickly!

We feel like she really took the opportunity to get to know us, our relationship and our family dynamic ahead of our big day. The result was an amazing video that truly captured "us." She did such an amazing job!! I keep watching our video over and over! I was a little hesitant about hiring a videographer and I could not be more happy that we did! Oh goodness. I don’t even know where to begin to describe how grateful I am for Leslee and her company!
Our wedding was supposed to be in Key West, but hurricane Irma hit so we had to relocate it to Oklahoma last minute.
Leslee found out about our scramble to put together a wedding and asked if she could help. She decided to do a highlight video of our wedding with less than a weeks notice! Purely out of the goodness of her heart.
She called me two days before and I immediately felt comfortable talking to her. It was like talking to an old friend! She listened to my story and I knew she genuinely cared to get to know me and my future husband.
The day of, I was wondering if it would feel strange having someone Id never met face-to-face in the room while I was getting ready. It was not at ALL. She actually has this sweet calming demeanor about her that makes you want her to be around! She was never in the way, but somehow managed to capture every single important candid moment.
When we got our video from her, I immediately watched it over and over and just cried. Ive gotten so many messages at what a sweet, moving video it is. It is something we will cherish forever.
If you are on the fence about having a videographer, trust me when I say it’s absolutely worth it. And you wont find a better one than Leslee Layton! Ive watched so many weddig highlight films in the past, and hers are the best hands down-(not even including my amazing video!).

Leslee was very accommodating! Our wedding was longer with many traditions and in Vietnamese, but everything came together perfectly in the video. Quality was stunning, wouldn't change a thing!

Highly recommend getting a video! It is worth the cost to be have it to view afterwards and again and again! Leslee did a great job capturing all the special moments of the ceremony and all the reception highlights. When considering whether to spend the money friends said you will be glad if you do it and they were right!!

I had so many wonderful wedding vendors and Leslee topped them all! She is extremely personable and friendly during the wedding planning process! I Any time I had a question she responded quickly. She also listed to everything my husband and I wanted. Along with bething friendly, she’s also professional. We had to deal with the chaos of a Garth Brooks concert in Downtown OKC on the day of our wedding and she was amazing though it all. Our video came out so amazing! The highlight film has wowed everyone. It fit both of our personalities so well. Our highlight and full length film is something we will cherish forever! Leslee is an amazing person. Even though our wedding is over, I even feel like she’s a family friend and stays in touch with us. I would highly recommend her to any bride looking for an amazing videographer.

I truly feel blessed to have had the opportunity to hire Leslee Layton Films for the videography of my son's wedding this summer! Leslee is incredibly talented and so fun to work with, and she and her crew captured the magic of the wedding preparations, ceremony, & reception. The resulting video combined everything into a magnificent film that will be a treasured keepsake in our family. Sometimes with all the other costs associated with a wedding, this might be an area that people are tempted to cut, but please don't!!! We were thrilled with the Love Story video that captured our son & daughter-in-law's love story and the wedding highlight video was over-the-top in capturing all the love, excitement, fun, & celebration of that fantastic day!

Leslee and her team were magnificent. At our first meeting Leslee sat down to ask about my vision for the video and she captured it perfectly. She was also extremely patient with me when wedding planning started to get crazy and helped me decide to capture our rehearsal dinner of film. I AM SO THANKFUL we have those memories on camera! My husband and I couldn't be happier with the experience we got with Leslee. We had been recommend to Leslee through many of our friends who had exceptional experiences with her. During our consultation, she listened to all our ideas and was able to give suggestions for our special day. Our wedding day was extremely hot and muggy, and I didn't hear Leslee or her assistants complain once during our long day. She was able to capture our special moments during our wedding. Leslee Layton Films gave us more than a video of the events of the day. She and her crew captured the emotions, the excitement, and the love in our day. We have had so many people, both close friends and family as well as acquaintances, compliment us and tell us the video made them cry, because it was so beautiful. Originally I had been on the fence about having a videographer, but now I tell everyone to be sure to include one in their budget, and of course I highly recommend Leslee Layton to everyone I know. Leslee and her team are some of the kindest people I've ever met. If you are on the fence about booking a videographer because you are concerned about costs/your budget, seriously think before you rule out a wedding video. A video was something I always wanted and I knew we could go easy in other areas of the budget in order to make this a reality. Watching our highlight video for the first time transported me back to our wedding day. The whole day was such a blur that I am thrilled to be able to relived every emotion (cue the water works!) and happy thought from that day. I was a hot mess watching it! I know it is something we will watch over and over again for years to come and I am so happy with how it turned out. Absolutely book with Leslee Layton and her team! I was on the fence about paying for a videographer and I am so incredibly happy that I did! She did a beautiful job capturing such a special day and put together the most amazing highlight reel that I will cherish forever! And I can be uncomfortable in front of a camera, but I never noticed that her team was there! She is so professional and super sweet! I think I've watched my video a thousand times since the wedding! If video is something that's important to you, you should probably just stop right here on Leslee Layton Films!!! We booked with Leslee 16 months before our big day, and without even knowing me, she spent an hour on the phone talking about my dreams and hopes for my wedding day, and was completely encouraging in every aspect!! We chose to do a love story, which was a film that explained how my husband and I met and how our story unfolded, and my husband and I had this idea to do a football scrimmage. When I explained this to Leslee that first time on the phone, I was scared she was going to think I was crazy!! But she was completely on board! What makes Leslee different is you will come out of the whole engagement period with a new friend, and that's what was most important to Brent and I! Throughout our wedding day, we worried about absolutely nothing because of the professionalism and class that her and her team showed! Leslee followed the timeline she made for our day perfectly, and it showed in our wedding video! It's absolutely worth every single penny to spend, because you know that what you will get out of it is memories that you can relive every day. If I could go back and redo the whole engagement again, Leslee would still be the first one I called!! We love Leslee Layton Films and couldn't be more thankful for everything they did to make our wedding day the best day of our lives! Don't make the mistake of booking someone else, she's the best choice for sure!!

I can't say enough good things about Leslee and her team. Our wedding video was beyond perfect. I had a lot of requests, but they got everything I wanted. They made it so personal to who we are as a couple. It was the perfect mixture of our romantic, sentimental ceremony/vows and our crazy, fun reception. We've probably watched it a million times already, and we're so happy to have this for the rest of our lives.

Leslee Leaming and team took the time to really understand our story and gave us options for the end product. Our video made us laugh, cry, smile and remember the special moments throughout the day. These are the little things you miss in the midst of being so busy on your wedding day. The pricing you will see on my review can be intimidating, but we did a special film that was interview style and over 20 minutes long. Leslee is very good about working with you on what you need and talking through a reasonable price with you. Her work is absolutely amazing! I completely and 100% recommend Leslee Leaming and team to shoot and edit your wedding video. You won't regret it!

Leslee and Haley filmed our wedding back in June and I cannot express how amazing their talents are! They captured the magic of our wedding day in every detail through our film. Leslee creates a package individualized to YOU, so you can capture that special dance or personal moment you never want to forget. Videography is not something to pass on. While all details are important for your wedding, flowers die, food gets eaten, dresses get worn once. This video will last forever, and I have already watched mine several times! Leslee and her team are the best out there. Just watch one of their videos and I know you'll agree!

The first time I talked to Leslee Leaming on the phone to talk about services, I knew right then that she was the videographer for me. She was sweet, honest, and extremely helpful. She talked me through different wedding day schedules and really helped me set my timeline. Throughout my engagement, she was attentive to all my phone calls and e-mails, always getting back to me right away if not immediately. Come the wedding day, which can sometimes be a very stressful time for a bride, Leslee and her crew made me feel at ease during the day and confident afterwards that my wedding film was in the right hands. Leslee and her team were a joy to work with! They made my family and I feel extremely comfortable and captured so many priceless moments that I will treasure forever! Not only did she captured so many great moments between my husband and I, she also captured reactions of grandparents, friends and family dancing and special moments shared between our guest. We couldn't have asked for a more wonderful team to be a part of our wedding day. Leslee and her team were one of the most fun, sweetest, and talented vendors we worked with. No chasing this girl with phone calls - she is on it! She really captured who we are as a couple, from the jokes and laughs, to the "swoon-y" looks we gave each other all day and the music that we love most. I hardly noticed them in the background and never once felt like they got in the way or were directing any part of the day. They just seamlessly captured all the special moments that happened naturally. At our rehearsal dinner, we had was must have been a MASSIVE RAVE PROM on the floor below us and the bass completely drowned out our speeches, even with the mic. I was so worried it would ruin the video...you couldn't even hear Lady Gaga in the background! And our vows she cut together flawlessly. She got every word without it dragging on too long (I know you've seen those videos where the vows seem to take up the whole thing!). I know it is an expense (although I think Leslee is the best deal you will find for her level of talent) but I guarantee you will probably watch your video more than you look at the pictures because it's such a wonderful snippet of the best day of your life.

We also worked with her on an add on honeymoon video where we took a GoPro with us to capture the once in a lifetime moments. Since it was our first time using one we did a terrible job of taking video and even lost the GoPro with half our footage in the Rome airport, but Leslee managed to put together a great 10 min video with what we had. We've watched this a lot more often than looking at the pictures and our families loved to see it as well. I would highly recommend it as an add on or even a nice gift from the parents to the couple. I'm already thinking about doing it again for our next big trip together!

I don't know where to begin to express how thrilled I was with everything about Leslee Leaming Productions!
From the first phone call I knew that Leslee was the one that I wanted to capture the day of my daughter's wedding. Hiring a videographer had been pushed down to the bottom of the list in our budget, therefore it was one of the last things that we contracted. When I look back, I think about how fortunate it worked out that she had an opening! Leslee was one of the vendors I worked with for the shortest amount of time, but my favorite!
I encourage everyone that is considering not doing a video, to reconsider. It will be one of, if not the best decision you make during this entire process!

My wedding would not have been complete and ever lasting without Leslee Leaming. Her professionalism and recommendations prior to the event was of great help. On the day of the wedding she showed up early and got straight to work but it never felt awkward or staged. She was so very pleasant and easy to work with. She even stayed later than expected due to a delay out of our control. After the wedding, waiting for the video was nail biting but well worth the torture. The video made everyone cry and smile. All my family and friends could not stop talking about how amazing the video was and how beautifully it captured our day. I heard over and over how "it was the best one they had ever seen". Leslee Leaming Film was above average! She was completely committed to making our special day last a lifetime. Not only did she send emails to casually check in on the wedding planning process during our engagement but took the time to FaceTime me as well to discuss details for the big day as it grew closer. She was also extremely flexible with our financial situation and allowed us to make payments throughout our engagement to pay for her services. It was worth every penny! It was a pleasure to have Leslee as part of our wedding festivities. We first met Leslee at the Wichita Bridal Show in 2012 as a fellow vendor. Her booth was across from ours and Becca & I found ourselves watching her demo video... and we watched it again... and again... and every time we watched it we were just blown away by how she captured the day for so many others. We were instantly sold on having her be our videographer! We finally tied the knot on September 13, 2014 and we were so thankful Leslee put in the time she did on our day. It was a very long and exhausting day for all, and to top it off, she drove up from Oklahoma to Towanda, KS where our reception was! I asked for suggestions on facebook for videographers. It was about 3 weeks before my wedding, I had completely forgotten about a videographer. Leslee Leaming was one of my very first suggestions. She contacted me and told me the site to review her work. She was without a doubt very talented, we booked her right away..... To this day my now husband and I agree that this was by far the best investment we made for our wedding. She caught things on camera that we will forever be able to cherish. I cry every time I watch my highlight video. I would recommend her to anyone, and anyone that booked her as their videographer would be very blessed and be very very happy with the results. Simply, wonderful. I was hesitant to hire a videographer after having several friends that had a bad experience. I searched around and told myself not to worry about it, that if I found the perfect person, I would know. Leslee and her team were the answer. I reached out to Leslee via e-mail and the next day (maybe sooner) we were talking on the phone so she could capture my vision. It was honestly like talking to a friend that I was trying to catch up with. Her excitement and sincere passion for what she is does is what makes her (and her team) divine.

I feel terrible for not knowing more about her team, and not even remembering their names (I was a little overwhelmed on the big day). However, we can not say enough good things. In fact, my entire family walked away completely in love with these girls and the masterpieces that they create. I was able to get clips of my family wishing us well that I know, I will treasure forever. They have such kind hearts, and are so talented. They capture life and love beautifully, and exceeded all of my expectations.

I have to admit that it took some convincing to get, my now, husband to agree to a videographer for the wedding. But, as the bride, I got my way and let me tell you, it has turned out to be one of our, yes he loves it, favorite things to look at. Leslee and her crew of professionals are AMAZING. They are easy to work with, able to blend into the background so you don't even know they're there and produce a fantastic video that I plan on showing to everyone I know. They absolutely captured both of our personalities and the mood of the entire day. You can see every moment again and I cannot tell you how much I already cherish this video. I had not thought about hiring a videographer at all, but my mom read something about videographers and decided we should go for it. Leslee was great to work with and now we are both so glad that we hired her! The video that she put together is wonderful and she really managed to capture the day. She also put together a little 3 minute teaser that was the perfect thing to share with family and friends who weren't able to join us for the day. Some highlights of working with Leslee include:
- Extremely professional - she managed to be everywhere without ever getting in the way and I had multiple people comment that they had never seen vendors (photog and Leslee) work together so well
- Great quality - so well done; even the case the DVD came in is a great momento
- Very prompt - we had a draft of the teaser video 3 days after the wedding

Leslee was so amazing to work with! From our first Skype meeting, she was kind and willing to make our video exactly like we pictured. She took time to get to know us as a couple and really cared a lot about our wedding and our vision. She lives about 2 hours away from us, but took the time to come down on a week night a month or so before the wedding to tour the venue since she hadn't been there before. She kept in contact with us throughout the wedding planning process to keep updated on changes of vendors and other things. She is very thorough and wanted to make sure she didn't miss anything on the day of! On our wedding day, she showed up early with her wonderful assistant, Theresa, to scope the venue again and get some preparation shots. They stayed 9 hours until send off and captured everything, including interviewing our guests and wedding party! In less than 2 weeks, she had the highlight video done and it is absolutely incredible! Our friends and family have continued to tell us how beautiful the highlight video is and although we haven't gotten the full length video yet, I know that it will be amazing too! I'd recommend Leslee to anyone and I'm SO happy that we chose her for our big day! :)

A videographer was not at the top of "required" list when planning my wedding. When a family member insisted, I found Leslee after much research. When the wedding was over, I soon realized having a videographer was probably one of the best decisions I made for the entire wedding. There was absolutely no way I would be able to remember everything that happened because the day was a blur!

After seeing the highlight video, tears were brought to my eyes. She did an amazing job bringing back all the emotions I felt on our wedding day. Leslee was very professional before, during and after our wedding. She kept me in the loop through the entire editing process and was wonderful to work with. The excitement she showed during our wedding made me feel as if we had been friends for years!

We had a great experience with Leslee! I hadn't seriously looked at videography for our wedding (I hadn't ruled it out, but it wasn't of the utmost importance) until we received a mail piece from Leslee. We were living in Stillwater for school, so it was convenient to meet with her. We did a short consultation and then I thought I'd look around and compare some other videographers. It quickly became evident that Leslee was the best fit for us! She creates the emotion-filled films we love, complete with voice-overs. When it came time for our January wedding, Leslee and her crew worked seamlessly with our other vendors. They captured the special moments and most times I didn't even know they were there. We were so excited to receive our highlight film, which we feel is a beautiful representation of our perfect day. My only complaint when I watch it (which has been 20+ times!) is that it's so perfect I don't want it to end!

Leslee was so awesome! They definitely were flies on the wall when it came to capturing moments. It never felt too staged. 10/10 recommend working with her & her team

Leslee was a joy to work with. She is so pleasant and easy going. I was really surprised how fast she was able to complete our highlight video and whole film. She really listens to what my husband and I were looking for in our video. She did a great job! She took the time out to also post it socially, which I appreciated and tagged all of my vendors as well! You can tell she is very passionate in what she does. Professionally and as a person she was attentive and very sweet. We enjoyed working with her.
