Leo was wonderful to work with. My husband and I both aren't huge picture takers but the engagement pictures and wedding pictures were wonderful! The wedding pictures perfectly captured the wedding and were beautiful. The wedding album was incredible. He has a great eye which makes the pictures uniquely yours. Anyone who is looking for pictures that are uniquely yours as well as beautiful candid shots of the whole night, Leo is your guy!

Leo Dj was amazing. I am glad that we choose him as our engagement and wedding photographer. The photos he took of our engagement were absolutely beautiful, and the wedding pictures captured many great moments. He was very professional, and arrived before our scheduled time for setup. He was communicative, telling us how to pose and act naturally. He was organized and pay attention to details during the engagement session and wedding. We strongly recommend Leo Dj. You will never be disappointed!

I could not give Leo a higher rating. He was quickly responsive to questions we had and was patient with us. My now-husband and I are not big "picture" people, but Leo explained the importance of, for example, engagement photos, and we could not have been more pleased with the experience and how the pictures turned out. During the wedding, he helped us prioritize when and where to take pictures and truly captured the spirit of our day as well as our guests' experience. Leo took beautiful, classic wedding shots and we could not be happier.

Leo is great! And helped me a lot. I'm probably the least creative person ever (I didn't want to do any wedding planning to by honest) and didn't really have any idea what kind of pictures I wanted, and he helped a lot! He suggested locations for the engagement photos for my husband and I, which reduced my stress. Leo is very accommodating and his work is amazing. I also took forever to choose photos afterwards, but it was all good, and Leo was really nice and helpful though whole time. Also the way he designs the photo album is AMAZING. The photo album is gorgeous. I saw my friend's photo album from their wedding (different state/photographer) and theirs is nice too, but was I kind of underwhelmed with the quality. When I saw mine (not being biased and pictures aside), the quality and design of the album Leo gives is just jaw dropping. I definitely recommend him to everyone!!!

Leo Dj got the most beautiful photos of my wedding, especially the ceremony, which was in a very difficult location. It was in a planetarium and we didn't want lots of lights ruining the effect for the guests, so Leo was able to set up lights that only lit up the bridal party and didn't wash out the planetarium dome at all. The result was stunning!

I could not have been happier with Leo. Due to military obligations, we found ourselves planning our entire 100-guest wedding in one month's time. Leo was flexible and accommodating and even let us trade the engagement shoot, which we did not have time to do, for an extra photographer at the wedding. Leo's work is beautiful, creative and artful without being tacky (a fine line to walk when taking wedding photos, in my opinion.) Leo has a fly on the wall presence, which was perfect for capturing intimate moments unnoticed. If we find ourselves back in the DC area, we will certainly be booking Leo for any future life events!

Extremely pleasant to work with! I planned our wedding from 4000 miles away and Leo was very willing to have conversations via phone and email. He was able to make a package work in our price range as well. He also went out of his way to see the venue in advance to scout spots for the photos. We were very happy with the results.

Leo DJ and his photos of my wedding last July 2016 were fabulous. I was extremely happy with how well the photos turned out and received many compliments from friends and family. He captured all of the important moments. He was professional, answered all of my questions, and touched base with me a few times before the wedding. Leo was great, very relaxed and not intrusive. We received our wedding photos very quickly, the photos were fantastic, and Leo also did some amazing editing on a few of the photos when needed (who knew it was so hard to get a group family photo where everyone has their eyes open??).

Leo photographed our wedding this May. He went out of his way to make sure he was prepared for the venue (both for the ceremony and reception) and did an amazing job capturing "moments" that - when you are overwhelmed with the wedding - you don't get to cherish as much as you would like. His pictures captured the story of our wedding day, without him or his assistant ever being intrusive or interrupting moments. Atop all of this, at the last minute (2 hours before our ceremony) we learned our outdoor reception was flooded and had to move locations. Leo handled this without a blink and was still able to create amazing pictures despite the change of scenery. Atop this, Leo is kind, helpful, open to hearing what matters to you, has a wonderfully creative eye, and received a ton of compliments from guests who noted how well Leo and his assistant covered the evening.

Leo was very professional throughout the whole process. He was very responsive to emails and texts. For bigger detail planning, he preferred to speak on the phone. Leo was very helpful with figuring out what formal photo order would work best. Due to running behind schedule on the wedding day, we weren't able to get some bridesmaids photos we wanted done before the ceremony but Leo was accommodating and we got some taken at the venue. The day after the wedding, Leo posted a sneak peak picture of us and it's awesome - can't wait to see the rest!

I can't even put into words how incredibly glad we are that we chose Leo as our photographer. He is amazing! He is wonderful to work with, so responsive, and kind. Not only is he a pleasure to work with, but he also take exquisite pictures. I can't say enough to praise his pictures. He also had a very quick turn around for the preview of pictures, which is really all you want once the wedding is over. I highly recommend Leo to anyone, he is great!

We were truly impressed by the ability of Leo and his team to truly capture all of the emotion of the day and to do it so artistically. The images are absolutely beautiful and stunning! We would have liked a few more traditional pictures where we (bride and groom) are looking directly into the camera, but the day is only so long . That being said, there are images of such tender moments I didn't even know were captured, and I am so thankful they were - they are some of my favorites. Leo and his team were incredibly professional and very kind. We felt very well taken care of. We would hire Leo again in a second and feel very lucky he was our photographer!!! Many thanks Leo :D

We chose Leo largely on his personality, he is not a loud bossy photography. Besides for the family photos, we hardly noticed him and his partner at the wedding. Yet, we ended up with all the precious moments with each other and friends to look through for years to come.
The other reason we chose him was based off his style of photography. When you meet him and go through his sample albums you'll notice it's not a posed magazine brochure. His albums tell a story that take you through a day of all the memories you were a part of, or missed.
I cannot speak more highly of him. He was responsive to our emails, flexible with our requests, reliable and trust worthy.

We really enjoyed working with Leo for our engagement and wedding photography. After comparison shopping among several recommended photographers in the area, we felt Leo offered the best value with high quality photos. He was the perfect wedding photographer because he and his assistant were able to capture all our key wedding moments but were never "in our face" or were in the way of our actual wedding which was really important to us. Leo has a calm, quiet demeanor which is great for wedding photography. He delivered our proofs in photos within reasonable time frames and we just recently received our album which is amazing.

Leo photographed our wedding in October. He was wonderful.

We did our engagement photos in spring 2013. He was flexible to travel to DC and visit a couple sites we selected. The photos were beautiful. And he was flexible with the package we'd selected to ensure we got what we wanted.

Leo arrived on time for the wedding day and captured our day beautifully. His style of photo journalism captures the story in the pictures without being intrusive. We did some posed photos, but loved all his candid photos the most. Looking at our album, we laugh and cry remembering all the best points.

Leo is also a great guy. When photographing a dance circle and the bottle landed on him, he jumped in with some terrific moves- my guests loved it. We searched long and hard for a photographer- wanting wonderful photos, but not to spend a million dollars. We were so lucky to find Leo, I would pick him again in a second. I highly recommend to others!

I got married on May 11, 2013 and am so glad I went with Leo. He was easy to get ahold of before the wedding (which is critical!) and took amazing photos. We were also lucky enough to have him take our engagement photos a few months earlier. He is very particular with his shots (which can be a little time consuming - especially if you have a larger bridal party), but after seeing the results I wouldn't have changed a thing. LOVE the photos and LOVE the album he put together for us. 100% recommend him and his team.

Leo is more than a photographer, he is a true artist. Our pictures do more than give our wedding justice. They capture emotion. Leo has an exceptional talent. Having a wedding album as incredible as ours is worth every penny. After all, its all thats left after your big day is over.

Leo and his assistant were referred to as "ninjas" by our wedding guests because they were everywhere taking snapshots (yet not in the way). Even though the wedding album we selected had 60 photos, over 3000 were taken. Leo is very professional, attentive, dependable and a super-nice guy. Highly recommended!!!!

Leo was really great to work with and it is so obvious how much he cares about getting it right. He was very thorough from the beginning, as well as very helpful and understanding. The albums that we received (engagement and wedding) were perfect! They are really works of art. The wedding album especially, definitely captures the best of the day in a most idyllic way. We both (along with our parents and brothers and sister) LOVE everything that Leo did for us and we could not be happier.

Thank God for Leo! His work speaks for itself: natural, unaffected, elegant, emotional, and stunning. We were planning our wedding from out of town and had limited time to meet potential photographers. Thankfully, I found Leo's work by doing a Google Image search of our venue. He does not provide his rates up front, which initially deterred me. However, the packages proved to be very reasonable. We asked Leo if we could have our engagement session in New York City (where we live). He did not charge us anything extra to do this, except for the cost of transportation. Our shoot took place just five days after Hurricane Sandy had hit the area. Nonetheless, Leo took a 6 a.m. train to New York City for our shoot and returned to DC late that night! The photos from that day were SPECTACULAR. We have gotten compliments from many people that they are among the best they've ever seen. We can't wait to get our wedding photos! I HIGHLY recommend Leo: he is responsible, responsive, and kindhearted. Most importantly, he is a true artist.

Leo included in our photography package a few hours of engagement pictures at a location of our choice, which ended up turning out really well and was a nice addition to having just wedding pictures. He and his assistant also did an excellent job with the candid photographs from the wedding and reception, getting people who aren't posing for pictures, but just having fun and enjoying.

As soon as I saw Leo's photography online, I knew that he was the photographer I wanted for our wedding! My husband and I both really appreciate the art and talent that goes into great photography, and we agreed that this would be one of the most important vendors that we chose for our wedding. We could not be more happy with our choice to have Leo do our engagement and wedding photography!

In addition to being an incredibly talented photographer and passionate about his work, Leo is also very professional, timely, responsive, courteous, and friendly. We were a bit nervous about the engagement photos at first, but he made us feel at ease and spent a lot of time with us to make sure we got great photos that we would love and cherish for years to come.

During the planning process, Leo answered any questions I had in a very timely manner and was incredibly helpful with suggestions when I was worried or unsure of something. The day of the wedding he arrived on time and prepared, and worked diligently throughout the day to capture the fun, love, and beauty of our special day.

Everyone who has seen our engagement and wedding photos comments on how beautiful they turned out, and every time I look through them they bring a big grin to my face :) Thank you again Leo, you went above and beyond for our engagement and wedding photos and I would recommend you in a heartbeat! Leo was excellent; he really took great care in framing each shot, to make sure it was a quality photo. He made sure that we got all the pictures we really wanted, and even set his equipment back up for us to get a pose in front of the altar before we left the church. He is very professional and a great photographer!

Leo is a great photographer who really took the time to know me personally. He remembered our story and captured it beautifully through his photography. Leo's communication is top notch; he always responded to emails same day and did not hesitate to call, email, or text if he had any updates for us. I love looking back at our pictures; the flood of emotions we felt on our wedding day come back as if we were right back there again. I want to personally thank Leo for the amazing work he has done! Anyone who is looking for the highest level of professional work, coupled with the personal touch Leo DJ is the man for the job.

Honestly my fiancee and I could not have asked for a better individual to make us feel comfortable as we posed throughout a large state beach/park. We changed outfits four times, with no complaints from Leo. In fact he stayed with us, despite us going over our allotted time, and even asked to take pictures that we didn't think of, just so we would have the ultimate album.

Leo we want to thank you for making our experience not only memorable, but one that was perfect. If you cannot take great pictures and have a good time doing it with Leo then you probably will never have a good time taking pictures with anyone! Leo is simply the best and his prices are too. Trust me when I say that I shopped around with local photographers, and they wanted more for a lower quality product. Their websites had absolute crap.

Leo you are a true professional, and extremely gifted. Keep making us all look beautiful!

I recommend Leo to any future bride! From the first meeting with him, I knew that I wanted him to capture our special day. Seeing his work he captures the best and most memorable moments. My fiance and I are camera shy but Leo was amazing to work with and made us very comfortable. Our engagement session was amazing and I cannot wait to see our wedding pictures. I definitely would recommend for any bride to work with Leo!!

After seeing Leo's work from my friend's engagement session and wedding, I knew that he was the perfect choice for my own wedding! He is so talented and has an incredible attention to detail. My husband and I received endless compliments on our engagement photos and we can't wait to see the images from the wedding! I recomend Leo to any future bride! He captures the best moments. My fiance and I have done an engagement session with him and we didnt know what to expect but Leo made us feel very comfortable and the pictures turned out great! Our wedding was 10/1/11 and I can't wait to see the pictures. I know they will be amazing :)

We interviewed several photographers before we finally found Leo. We knew Leo was exactly what we were looking for during our first meeting when he showed us some of his sample albums. As I was looking through his photos, I was brought to tears at the emotion captured in his images. Unlike other photographers that deliver typical run-of-the-mill (albeit sometimes beautiful) images and portraits, Leo's work reaches another level. He is an artist and has a unique eye for beautiful perspectives, color, and moment. He is also a perfectionist, although sometimes this means that it might take him longer to accomplish his vision while taking the picture and in editing. But he recognizes the importance of these events in a persons life, and wants to deliver nothing less than perfection. And he does! Just look at his images for yourself and you will see! Our engagement photos as well as our wedding day photos capture all the joy and emotion of our special day - one can't help but get choked up just looking at them. The only thing I regret is not getting our standard portrait shots with our families - the whole day went by so fast, that we forgot to get some of the basics. But, despite that, we are overwhelmed with joy at the beautiful moments and emotion-packed images we have to remember our wedding day. The images truly surpass everyone's expectations - and I've received countless compliments from family and friends and random people who weren't even at the wedding. Everyone in my family now knows and loves Leo's work - I see him as our "family photographer" - and I look forward to working with him again as our family grows.

I booked Leo relatively last minute for my "stateside reception". I had already had a wedding in Mexico and was unsure if I wanted to spend the money twice for a professional photographer. Leo's flexibility and price made me decide to spring for it - and I was very happy I did. His work was gorgeous - the beautiful "journalistic" type photos I was looking for - as well as perfect "staged" shots. My friends and family all enjoyed meeting him as well. Any request I had, he met. I wanted pictures of the food - and he took amazing still shots as well as action shots (ie getting served the tenderloin)... I would highly recommend him!

Leo is an amazing photographer. A true artist with a talent for capturing the most intimate moments. He was my wedding photographer in June 2010 and I cannot be happier with my photos. Leo was absolutely amazing. He was very professional and kept in contact with me in the weeks leading up to the event. He traveled over three hours to our little destination wedding and met us at the venue the evening before just to go over the specifics of the wedding day. I told him my concerns of how I usually look in pictures - he assured me that through different techniques, he would make sure I loved every single one. And he was right! He took all my concerns to heart and made me feel truly beautiful on my wedding day. Leo even stayed a few hours past his contract because he "could not pass up on the lighting". Now that is a TRUE photographer! :) My intentions were to recommend him to all my friends, family and coworkers but once they saw the pictures, they were hooked - I did not have to convince anyone and I have already given his information to several people. I highly recommend Leo DJ Photography. Without a doubt, we will be hiring him for all our professional photographer needs in the future.

leo did our engagement photos (as shown here in several examples) and we were so amazed at how well they turned out! he was great to work with and we felt very comfortable. he also let us do the exploring for places we'd like to be photographed in, but i'm pretty sure he can make a walmart parking lot look great without blinking an eye!

Anybody who likes candid/journalistic photography should use Leo's talent. I personally don't like/can't pose for camera so I'm glad that I chose Leo to do my wedding pictures, they look awesome!

Working with Leo was Very satisfying. He gave lot of suggestions as of good places for taking the pictures (i.e. when we were doing our prewedding session, we weren't having that much knowledge of where should it be taken locally, and he suggested the fransiscan monastery in downtown DC, which in the end we are really thankful that we ended up taking picture over there). He is also very adaptable / flexible, we did have quite a lot of spontaneous poses for the pictures, in which he happily took them for us and not just that, the end result came up awesome.

Leo was great. He had to face many challenges on our wedding day (weather, drunk groomsmen, etc.) and he handled it all incredibly well. Most importantly, the pictures came our beautifully! I plan to use him again at my next wedding!
