My dream wedding!

My now husband and I had the best wedding at LeMont! The banquet manager, Bill Laughlin, is so easy to work with! He was so responsive to all of my emails and nothing was lost in our various emails leading up to the wedding day. Tom and the two servers we had were so friendly and attentive. The space was absolutely gorgeous and the food was incredible! I constantly find myself wishing I could go back and relive this day.

Fantastic Service - Unbeatable Views

Bill was amazing to work with. Extremely responsive, flexible, and straightforward. LeMont takes care of everything. They were by far the easiest venue to work with, and the service was top notch. The food was great. We had a blast!

The perfect day in every way!

If I could give LeMont 100 stars, I would! LeMont went above and beyond the call of duty to make our very small wedding absolutely perfect for us! Bill, the banquet coordinator, was professional and made everything go off without a hitch! We had to downsize to a very small guest count due to covid restrictions and had to find a new ceremony and reception venue that would bring the “magic” for our day. My husband and I officially started dating at The LeMont, so we knew it would be a perfect fit. We just didn’t know how perfect at the time! Bill waived the normal minimum number of people required to reserve a private room on a Saturday night in light of the covid regulations. He also answered all of my emails and calls promptly- we had to pull everything together in just a little over a month, so there were a lot of details to work out! Bill was always calm, professional, and incredibly reliable.

At the time of booking, we were their only wedding for our date, so we were booked for the portion of the huge downstairs room that has the prime view of the city. (This huge downstairs room is usually separated by a divider so as to make two still very large rooms). A few weeks before the wedding, Bill informed my mother-in-law that another small party would be on the other side of the downstairs room that evening. At some point on the day of the wedding, my mom mentioned that the owners of LeMont were actually going to be on the other side of the divider celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary! To say I was shocked would be an understatement! I want to extend a sincere thank you to the owners of LeMont, Mr. and Mrs. Dunlap. I was truly touched and amazed that they permitted me and my husband to stick in the side of the room that has the particularly gorgeous Pittsburgh view. At any other restaurant with any other owners, we would surely have found ourselves bumped to the other side of the room, which while beautiful doesn’t possess quite the same iconic view of the city. It truly speaks to the Dunlaps’ character as well as that of LeMont as a whole that the owners as well as all staff put the guest experience at the forefront at all times. I would have totally understood the need to move us due to such a milestone anniversary for the owners of the restaurant...we will be forever touched that they put us, perfect strangers, above themselves!

I’m still pretty shocked - cannot imagine things shaking out the way it did for us at literally any other restaurant...My husband and I have always known that LeMont is a special restaurant, but the process of planning and having our small wedding there really made me realize that it’s the people, especially those with leadership roles, that set the tone for going above and beyond to maximize the guest experience.

Brian, the manager who managed our room on the day of the wedding, and countless other members of LeMont’s staff stepped up for us whenever we needed anything at all. The LeMont has also invested in and installed state of the art UV air filters all over the restaurant so as to make the indoor dining situation as safe as possible for staff and guests during these unusual times.

At the end of the day, our day was beyond perfect and we can’t imagine having our wedding anywhere else!

Everything we could have wanted

We had our wedding reception at Le Mont at the end of July and could not be happier. Bill helped us plan the whole thing from out of state and took care of everything! We didn’t have to worry about a thing. He recommended an awesome florist. Due to COVID, we didn’t have a wedding planner, but we didn’t need one at all. We dropped everything off to Bill in the morning and he and his team made sure to set everything up. Our bartender and server, Don, was incredible! He was so attentive and had a great personality. My husband and I got our first dance and We’re able to cut our cake as well as have our own sweetheart table. Thank you so much Le Mont staff, for making our reception absolutely amazing during this crazy time.

Beautiful and Affordable Venue

My husband and I were looking for a location that we could show off the city since most of our guests were from out of town. The LeMont did not disappointment! We were constantly told by our guests that the venue was beautiful. Bill was hands down the best coordinator in making wedding planning not stressful. Bill was accommodating in all of our requests and responded to all of my emails in a timely manner. We had a late wedding ceremony since it was at Heinz chapel. Bill said it was not an issue to start the reception later and we were allowed to stay to closing if we wanted! We stayed to the very end, probably later than we should have, but the staff was super friendly and not pushing us out of the door. We had DJ Bill Bara who was fantastic and stayed with us until the very end. As for the price, my dad keeps saying he was surprised that the venue was affordable. There is no fees to rent out the venue. You are paying consumption based prices which is so much cheaper than most other venues. There also is no rental fees with tables, plates, chairs, etc. Overall, the value for the venue as well as the quality of the food and service were excellent and the planning staff made the entire process a breeze.

The venue speaks for itself, the view was absolutely breathtaking!

Working with The LeMont was a dream. Bill is truly an angel, he answered every single one of my emails directly and promptly. The LeMont catered to our every need and request. They accommodated our large guest list thoughtfully. The food was incredible, people are still talking about it! We have heard nothing but positive comments about our reception. The servers were kind and efficient. The venue speaks for itself, the view was absolutely breathtaking! All of our guests thoroughly enjoyed themselves. We could not have asked for a better day. We are so grateful to the LeMont for allowing us to create beautiful memories.

All around GREAT experience

I can’t say enough about Lemont. We had such an AMAZING time and working with Bill Laughlin made it that much more enjoyable. Through out the planning process he was super easy going and accommodated any special requests. Everything from the appetizers to the dinner (we chose the surf & turf and let me just say it was out of this world) it was FANTASTIC. Oh and the cake, wow BEST cake I’ve ever had in my life. Not exaggerating because I am not a cake person—I ate it all even the icing. We chose the white batter with buttercream icing and raspberry filling. Truly INCREDIBLE. I highly recommend LeMont! You will not be disappointed!

The LeMont was a dream to work with. Their experienced staff worked with us efficiently on all of the details of our reception. They take care of a lot of the details that other places won't: they'll provide you a wedding cake, all of the linens, table numbers, set up the entire reception space including decorations and cookie table, and handled all food and liquor, all for an extremely reasonable price. Going with the LeMont allowed us to remove so many things from our to-do list.

After all of the planning and ceremony, the LeMont is the perfect reception location to celebrate with all of your loved ones. Elegant trappings, professional service, delicious food, and a jaw dropping view all form the backdrop for a perfect night.

Best Wedding Venue in Pittsburgh

We had our wedding reception at here. First of all the the location is one of the best in Pittsburgh. Walking into the reception and seeing the amazing view of the Pittsburgh skyline was a major reason for choosing this venue. Bill & Tony were wonderful to plan with. Every one of our special requests was taken care of. The staff was excellent and the service provided by them was top notch! Everyone was raving about the food! It tasted amazing and the selection to pick from was great! Price was very reasonable for the quality of the food, service, and venue. Many of our guests cannot stop talking about how great the overall experience was!

Had a small luncheon style wedding on 3/11/18. Everything was perfect! Working with Bill and Melissa for the planning was very smooth and they made everything easy to plan. The day of the wedding I was able to get there early and set up my decorations/centerpieces. The staff was phenomenal and the banquet manger Anthony was a pleasure to work with. He made sure everything was perfect and his staff was friendly and attentive. The food was perfect and everyone who attended the wedding loved everything. No one left disappointed. I would recommend the Lemont to anyone who is looking for a small,medium, or large event as they are very professional and easy to work with. Plus the view makes for the best photos without having to stand on the side of grandview ave.

I am so happy that we chose the LeMont to have our wedding ceremony and reception at. We had a lot of out of town guests, and the venue truly wowed them. There is not a single thing I would have changed about our wedding day. The LeMont made sure that my day was absolutely perfect. Our guests told us it was the fanciest wedding they had ever been to, that the food was delicious, and the view was spectacular. It’s hard finding a venue that knocks all your wish list items out of the park, and the LeMont did it.
Bill Laughlin was also so easy to work with. He e-mailed back within a few hours which was nice, especially leading up to the wedding. You would have thought I was the only Bride he was working with, which I know is not the case since he has e-mailed me since my wedding and asked about one of my vendors. A Bride saw pictures of my reception and wanted to know one of my vendors. I think it shows how much he truly cares by going above and beyond to get this information to make another Bride’s day perfect. Bill also worked with all of my vendors to arrange set up and pick up times so that I didn’t have to stress. I was able to drop all of my décor off the day before, and the staff at the LeMont set it up beautifully with very little instruction. It was so nice not to have to stress about setting up the venue before the wedding. I was truly overwhelmed walking into the venue for the first time. Our ceremony was absolutely stunning since the setup is in the corner of the room overlooking the City. I loved showing off the City this way to our out of town guests! I would definitely recommend the LeMont to other couples looking for a wedding venue, it was truly amazing. Thank you, Bill and the rest of the staff, for making our day perfect!!

I could not rave enough about LeMont. The beauty of it is obvious. Our guests raved all night and every day after the wedding. The food was incredible. Appetizers were great. The cake was more beautiful than I had even imagined. But what REALLY made this place was Bill Laughlin, the banquet manager. Bill was amazing from the start. He replied to my millions of emails within an hour every time. He was SO accommodating. Basically everything I asked, he said yes to. He is really helpful with finding ways to keep the cost down, which is so nice because you expect people to push you to do the expensive option. Bill was there for the rehearsal and the whole day of. Every time I talked to him leading up to the wedding and the day of, he made me feel at ease. The whole staff was incredible the day of too. The view is the best in the whole city, the space was plenty big with room to spare, the staff is awesome, the food is amazing, it was just the most perfect venue for the most perfect day.

We had a wedding at the Lemont on 11/5/2016. Nothing but GREAT comments. Gorgeous backdrop, Bill is great, and food is amazing (friends are still talking about the size of the steaks). The ceilings are a little low, so you have to keep that in mind when decorating. You cannot beat the skyline though. We had our ceremony there as well, you don't need to decorate at all - the city is the decoration!

Bill is really responsive, and he easily answered all of my questions. We actually used his recommendation for a DJ/violinist, and weren't disappointed at all! Bill also made sure our guests didn't see me before the ceremony. We were going to hideout in the upstairs bar, but we had some overeager guests already there when we arrived. Bill quickly ushered us into another room so I could stay hidden.

Having our wedding ceremony and reception at the Le Mont was perfect. The cost was surprisingly reasonable, and the service and views were exceptional. Bill and his team at the Le Mont were amazing and everything that we had planned ended up exactly as we hoped. Bill responded immediately to every single one of my (many) questions and I always felt like he had it all under control. He coordinated with the other vendors seamlessly and said 'yes' to any particular request or need we had. If you're thinking of having your wedding in Pittsburgh, we highly recommend the Le Mont!

The Le Mont is second to non when it comes to professionalism. Their catering staff is a well oiled machine. Bill, the catering director, is quick and so helpful. The Le Mont KNOWS weddings. They will not let you down in food or in quality. I highly reccommed this venue. It's already so classically beautiful that the decor can be minimum or a lot.

I have booked with the LeMont for my reception in November. They were the location of my brother and sister-in-law's reception and were absolutely beautiful. The view is amazing, the food is delicious, and Bill and Tony are the best to work with! The price is perfect for the services they provide and couldn't be beat for our large guest list! Everything was flawless with the LeMont. Bill was our coordinator along the planning process and Tony helped us out on the day of and we couldn't be more happy with them. They are genuinely nice men that have seen everything and I'm not sure anything would surprise them if you asked. Every request or question I had for Bill was met with an answer and easy solution. No drama, no stress. Actually, the entire staff at the LeMont was gracious and kind the day of the wedding. I believe they do over 500 weddings a year and it shows. They have it down to a T. Our food was DELICIOUS. Guests remarked on not only how good the food was but how the view was spectacular. We had a rainy wedding day but the city still looked as beautiful as ever from up there.

Unbelievable. This space is easily the best venue in Pittsburgh, hands down. Nothing can compete with what this venue offers - first class dining, attentive staff, gorgeous interior 1920's classic design, and THE VIEW. No other venue can offer the most breathtaking view in the country as their backdrop for their wedding while also providing 5 star meals. Everything went flawlessly. Bill Laughlin was amazing to work with - he would answer every trivial question of mine within an hour or so. He was able to accommodate every request I had from special drinks to after dinner snacks. Multiple times throughout the reception Bill went out of his way to find me and ask if I needed anything or what he could do to make the night better. I had many out of town guests at the wedding and over and over again people said that this was the best wedding that they have ever been to in their ENTIRE lives. Do not look anyway else - the LeMont is the only venue you should consider for a wedding reception! It was reasonably priced as well for the 5 star quality that we received. We expected the bill to be MUCH higher given the quality of our reception, but it was surprisingly affordable. THANK YOU to the LeMont for making our dreams come true and being the setting for the best day of our lives! We can't wait to come back and dine with you again and again.

I loved having my wedding luncheon reception at the LeMont! We worked with Bill Laughlin who was very accommodating, flexible and very responsive to email correspondence. The team at Lemont did a great job of working with our vendors to coordinate arrivals of centerpieces and other décor and day of our event the set up was beyond perfect. The food and service were both spectacular and an excellent value! I also really liked the fact that we were able to change the guest list up to the day before the wedding, because with so many out of town guests we absolutely did have people cancelling up to the day before the wedding. I couldn't have been happier with my experience; highly recommend!

The minute I stepped in the LeMont restaurant when venue shopping, I know that this was the place for our wedding. The view is spectacular and was a great way to show out-of-towners what Pittsburgh is all about. Planning the wedding with the LeMont was an incredibly smooth process. Bill, the banquet manager, runs everything like a well oiled machine. As a high strung, type A bride, I found him very comforting! The groom and are are both from Pittsburgh, so we had to have a traditional Pittsburgh Cookie Table at the wedding. We had a ridiculous amount of cookies, and Bill ensured us that they could handle it (and they did)! Even when we had a few cancellations the day before the wedding, Bill was able to make the changes for us. The day of the wedding was magical. All of the vendors worked directly with Bill to coordinate arrivals, etc. I didn't have to worry about a thing. Everything was so smooth and the venue looked beautiful (despite some rain outside, the view was still amazing). The food and service were top notch. I couldn't have been happier with my experience! Thank you to Bill and the LeMont!

My husband and I held our reception at the LeMont on Aug. 9, 2015. Thanks to the staff, it truly was a night to remember! They are affordable, flexible and professional. We didn't have a worry in the world. There was no set-up or tear-down. The food, dessert and wedding cake were amazing ! I cannot say enough about the LeMont and tell everyone about them. Compared to other brides, I did every little to prepare for this wedding because the LeMont did it all. I loved having my wedding reception at the LeMont! Bill Laughlin was very accommodating and flexible. He was always able to alleviate my stress when I had questions for him. We corresponded a lot through email, that is my preferred method. I liked that we were able to change the guest list up to the day before the wedding, because we absolutely did have people cancelling due to unforeseen circumstances the night before the wedding.

We scheduled the rehearsal at 4 o'clock on Friday and several people were over 20 minutes late to rehearse. Luckily, Bill was very accommodating and we were able to keep the space for well after our originally scheduled half hour. Nothing was ever a problem for Bill.

And the views. Everyone swoons over the views. We had the ceremony and the reception there on the top floor. We were just shy of 200 people. We were worried about the space accommodating everyone and people getting room fatigue. But it turned out great. The dance floor was not empty all night! It was the a fantastic party. Everyone was having such a good time we extended the wedding an additional hour. Of course not a problem. The drinks were also great. All the guests commented that loved a good stiff cocktail.

The staff is quickly responsive. I was worried about the head table being on the dance floor, but they were able to clear it off in less than 10 minutes so we could have our first dance before the photographer left. They made sure all my requests were met, even when plans weren't going according to schedule.

I would recommend the LeMont to anyone. It really was a dream wedding there.

The LeMont was the perfect reception venue. At first we wrote it off because we assumed it would be outrageously expensive, given its swanky reputation. However, after looking into the packages and meeting with the banquet manager Bill, we were pleasantly surprised to see that it was completely affordable and an overall great value!
Planning was a breeze as Bill was responsive to every email (I think the longest amount of time I waited for a response was 4 hours). He answered every question with ease and helped us make sure everything was in place. I had a lot of moving pieces, with extra decor, a candy bar, cocktail hour, and sparkler send-off. Everything went off without a hitch thanks to the LeMont staff's excellent planning and professionalism.
Aside from the ease of planning with everything included in one package (bar, meal, cake, linens, space rental), you really cannot beat this venue for a Pittsburgh wedding. The view is breathtaking - I still have guests telling me that our wedding was a highlight of their summer. We used the lower banquet room, which was perfect as it offered tiered floors - one for dinner and dancing, the other with restrooms and bar. This made the reception feel like a grand event that was private and exclusive for our guests.
The view of Pittsburgh from the LeMont provided the perfect backdrop for our perfect day. As I said, we felt on top of the world and we literally were on top of the city for the party! The value you receive for this venue is out of this world. I wouldn't have done anything differently!

The Le Mont did an extraordinary job for our wedding reception!! The gorgeous view of Pittsburgh took our guests breath away and so did their amazing service. Our families are both from out of town (NY & MD) so to be able to provide them with such a beautiful view of the city was perfect to showcase our new home. Our sit down dinner was flawless and delicious. All the staff members were incredible. My husband and I greeted our guests during dinner instead of doing a receiving line at the church, the staff at the Le Mont made sure that our dinners stayed warm by placing covers over our meals and checking in with us every now and then to make sure we had everything that we needed. I felt like we were cared for all night!

Bill and Tony helped get everything in order from day 1 of meeting with them down to centerpiece decorations and things we didn't even know what to do with! They were helpful in every way possible and are professional in their field. I never had to worry about a thing, they had everything covered! No question is a silly question either, anything I had a question or concern it was promptly answered or resolved. I would highly recommend The Le Mont for a wedding reception or any other affair for that matter!! You won't be sorry you did!

My husband and I just got married and the LeMont this past weekend, and we are still flying high! Everything was beautiful, well organized and so elegant!

Bill, Tony and the rest of the team at the LeMont are so professional and knowledgeable. Bill was very responsive and helpful throughout the planning process, which was such a blessing to a stressed out bride. He made it so easy and I never worried about having any sort of issue with the venue.

We had our ceremony and reception downstairs, and the staff was just amazing. Everything was set up perfectly and the tables were moved very quickly in between the ceremony and the reception. The view is gorgeous, the food is magnificent, and everyone really made us feel so special. The LeMont is also very accommodating--they made two meals gluten-free and they made BBQ sauce from scratch for our ring bearer! Again, they just made everyone feel special.

Guests continue to rave about what a beautiful wedding it was, and we have the LeMont to thank for that!

I can't say enough of our wedding experience with the LeMont restaurant. I had talked to many others who have used the lemont for their wedding and was excited about choosing them. Of course the location, view and food was excellent as they never disappoint there, but wow, the service was incredible! They had everything set up perfectly, the space was perfect for my 140 guest wedding! The food was to die for and everything went so smoothly! I had my rehearsal dinner at the LeMont in August 2014. It was a beautiful night and the view was spectacular! All of my friends and family were impressed. The appetizers and entrees were phenomenal and I have no complaints. They were very accommodating and easy to work with. I highly recommend this venue to anyone getting married in the Pittsburgh area. We used this venue for our ceremony and reception and would use this venue again every time. The ceremony and reception hall is gorgeous and makes the location very classy, and the view is breathtaking and a great sight for anyone traveling out of town to the area. The food was amazing, and we had tons of compliments about it from our guests. The groom and several other guests are gluten free, and they went above and beyond to make sure they were taken care of. Bill, the coordinator, is very organized and a pleasure to work with, I can't say enough great things about this place!

The Lemont Restaurant was the perfect location for our wedding reception, as Mt. Washington was one our first memories in Pittsburgh together. We worked with Bill throughout the planning process, and both Bill and Tony ran our wedding reception. The food was amazing! and we are still hearing compliments from our guests that the food was the best they have ever had at a wedding reception. The pricing of the food was very reasonable, and when comparing to other venues, we were so surprised at how they beat out everyone else. The whole reception went flawless, minus one minor table being set for the wrong number of people. As soon as it was realized, the mistake was fixed immediately, and most guests didn't even notice, including ourselves! We would recommend The Lemont for any banquet event, as the service was great, and you can't beat the view!

Our wedding reception at The Lemont was wonderful. We had 270 guests in the downstairs room, which meant we had both long and short tables. They told us we could fit that many, and the room looked great and eased my worries. They made everything so easy for us and helped to make our day even better than we expected. Bill and Tony are great to work with and answer questions in a timely manner and willing to help in any way possible. At our reception, they even brought the owner down to our room to meet us. We had no complaints with The Lemont, a first class venue that provided our food (including the cake) among other services. So many guests commented to us on how great of a time they had as well. My only advice would be to budget a little more for alcohol than they estimate. It was not far off but just so you are prepared.

Our wedding was Saturday April 12, 2014,this was just a few days after there was a landslid on Mt Washington, so needless to say major panic attack set in when they closed the LeMont for a few days. Bill was great in keeping us posted on the inspectors updates and assured us it would open back up in time for our wedding. On friday before the wedding we went up to the LeMont to drop off stuff for the wedding and Bill told us that they would be open for our wedding tomorrow and just in case he had a few venues on back up for us. Well the LeMont opened that Friday night and Bill called us to say it was all good for tomorrow. Bill and his staff was wonderful, the food was out of this world our guest are still talking about what a wonderful wedding it was. The owner even came in to congratulate us and to thank us for hanging in there with them during the landslide. We would highly recommend the LeMont for a wedding or any event, the view is priceless. Thanks Bill and staff for making our wedding day PERFECT.

We cannot say enough good about The LeMont. Bill Laughlin was the perfect combination of laid-back & responsive that we were truly impressed. He would e-mail back very quickly and was so very accommodating to our requests. He handled everything so calmly that it helped to calm us too. With LeMont hosting over 500 weddings, they know what they are doing. We showed up with over 200 dozen cookies+reception items & we were in and out faster than we ever could have imagined!!

Our guests cannot stop raving about the wedding reception. The food was fantastic, the view from Mt. Washington is rated one of the top views IN THE WORLD and the service was incredible.

We were really scared of the price (especially the bar being consumption-based) but it was much more affordable than we ever could have imagined. We almost wrote them off as too expensive but when my husband persisted, we researched about more and realized how affordable it truly was. They spell out all the costs, there were no "surprises" at the end of the night.

Our guests have been thanking us non-stop for weeks after. Both of our fathers stated they had multiple guests, some they didn't even know, (from the opposite side) approach them and thank them for "letting" them attend our wedding. It was just so incredible. We cannot say enough good about The LeMont and can't wait to celebrate our anniversaries there!!

We had our ceremony and reception at LeMont and we would highly recommend them to anyone looking to plan any event! Originally we hadn't considered them assuming it would be really out of our price range, however someone told me that it wasn't really any more than a lot of other venues so we looked into it. Once we realized that it would basically cost the same there as the other average, all inclusive reception hall we were considering our decision was really easy. We very much appreciated that their rates were largely based on actual costs and not per person packages. I think this worked out to our advantage because we included children and overall the wedding didn't have a lot of big alcohol drinkers. So I think we actually spent much less than we would have at someplace that charged a flat amount per person. Anyway, everything on the day of went really smoothly, they did a great job in setting everything up for us and taking care of every little detail throughout the evening. Thank you to the waiter who somehow managed to keep finding the groom and I and bringing us plates of appetizers so that we got to eat something! Also, as for the food, we had a couple gluten free guests who raved about how attentive they were to their needs. Overall it was a fantastic night. The setting would have been amazing regardless, but their professionalism and attention to detail made it even more amazing. The only recommendation I would have is that I wish they had a better way for the bride to get into the building without everyone seeing, and a better place to wait before the ceremony.

We just had our reception at LeMont last weekend and could not have had a more wonderful evening! The staff at LeMont really just went above and beyond our expectations. The manager, Bill, was so responsive from planning through the end of the reception. In fact, after we sent my family home in the limo at the end of the night, after calling 3 cabs to take us to our hotel that never showed up, Bill actually drove us to our hotel at 12:30 what a great guy! All of my guests, both from Pittsburgh and out of town, have just been raving non-stop about the view, courtesy of the staff, decor, and the delicious food. My dad paid for the wedding, and he said the bill even with the bar open all night was not as much as he expected, so even he was pretty pleased haha.

Our reception was held at the LeMont in August 2012. There was not one detail that was not perfect! The Banquet Manager and Assistant Manager (Bill & Tony) were awesome to work with, and the complete waite and valet staff were terrific also. The owner even gave us personal attention the night of our wedding. Our entree choices consisted of 3 different ones for our guests, and all selections were available as gluten-free entrees should our guests desire them that way. The food was delicious and every guest was served their entree at the same time. It was amazing. Also worth mentioning was that the view is the best in the city, and on our wedding day there were fireworks in the city after the Pirate game so our guests not only had a beautiful view but they also got to see Pittsburgh fireworks.

Of all the places we investigated to hold our reception the LeMont offered us our best value. Our menu included cocktails and hors d'oeuvres, full course meal, and wedding cake. Everything was outstanding and we had not one negative comment from any of our guests.

We feel blessed to have had our wedding reception at the LeMont. It was because of a review such as this that we investigated the LeMont. In that review it stated that all couples should look at the LeMont and not count it out as being too expensive. We followed up on their advise and found out the same thing. The LeMont is very reasonably price for such a special occassion and everything was PERFECT!

Truly an exceptional experience all around. We were planning our wedding from out of town so there were some extra challenges. Every time I got nervous about something or had questions, Bill and Tony were more than willing to answer questions. We actually never thought we could afford the LeMont, but figured it was worth checking, because it was our dream venue. It was either competitive or more affordable than most of the places we priced in downtown Pittsburgh and worth every penny. Most of our guests were from out of town and it was such a wonderful way to share the beauty of Pittsburgh. The food was fantastic, too. I can't thank them enough for such a wonderful day.

Having our reception here was actually cheaper than it would have been to have it catered somewhere else, since we didn't have to pay for the venue itself! My guests were all so impressed by this 5-star restaurant with the beautiful view of the city. Bill was so helpful and kind to us, and so willing to accommodate us. We wanted an all-vegetarian menu, and they were incredible about helping us find options for this that would please even meat-loving guests. I would absolutely recommend this place!

The LeMont was the perfect venue for our wedding as many of our guests were from out of town. What better way to see the city than from Mt Washington? The view was amazing. The food and the service were great. We were running late with speeches, etc. and were a little worried about how long it would take to serve everyone. We were pleasantly surprised at how the room was quickly swarmed with servers and all of our 150 guests had their food in minutes! Throughout the past 18 months banquet manager Bill Laughlin answered numerous email and phone calls promptly and was soooooo accommodating with our many requests. Only great things to say about the entire experience.

Book this place for your wedding! Bill Laughlin is great to work with. He'll answer all of your questions very quickly. The view and the food are amazing. Tony oversaw our wedding. Everything was flawless.

I'll be honest, at first we didn't believe that the LeMont could fit within our budget. Their prices ended up being extremely competitive.

We have had many guests tell us it was the most beautiful wedding they had ever been to. If I could do it all over again, I wouldn't change a thing.

We had our reception at the LeMont. It was a luncheon and it turned out beautifully. Our guests were so stricken with the gorgeous panoramic views of Pittsburgh and the food was delicious. We had approximately 100 guests and we used the upstairs dining area. The space was great. The tables were a great size and the dance floor was good, too. We worked with Bill and Tony for the planning and they couldn't have been more gracious. They made sure that every thing we wanted got done and they were so easy to work with.

We had a winter wedding on Jan 2 at the Le Mont and is was outstanding. Bill and Tony, the event coordinators at the Le Mont provide a level of service that i didn't think existed any more. from the start they were quick to respond to emails and phone calls, helpful in helping us plan and answering questions, and so attentive to the needs of us and the guests on the big day. the whole reception went as smoothly as possible. I actually received notes from guests after the wedding thanking us for such a great time and complimenting how perfect the reception was. They truly made me feel like it was my special day and I can't thank them enough for their excellent service!

Staff was amazing. Many of my guests commented on what wonderful service the LeMont provided. Easy to work with & flexible with menu. Somewhat expensive, but well worth the price!

Our wedding was last night and was simply amazing, it couldnot have been more perfect! Bill responded to my emails quickly and I he answered my hundreds of questions without hesitation. I was never told that we could not do something, which made planning so much easier! The food was out of this world and our guests raved about the food, the service was impecable and the ambience was PERFECT! I wish we could do it all over again!!

The reception was everything we ever dreamed of -- and then some!

The view atop Mt. Washington is absolutely spectacular! The decor of LeMont is incredibly beautiful! The meal was amazing - everything was delicious.

Bill Laughlin and his staff were so nice and helpful. He [Bill] promptly answered our numerous emails and phone calls. They did a wonderful job in setting up all of our tables, centerpieces, photos, etc., etc.

We were definitely working on a budget -- but we were treated as though we were millionaires.
Our guests are still raving about the wedding reception.

PERFECT PLACE, EXCELLENT SERVICE!
I went to dinner several years ago at LeMont and told my "boyfriend" at the time that I would get married there. 5 years later...we partied at our wedding reception there! Bill is awesome! He has done thousands of wedding receptions so he knows how to run things! I received 100's of compliments of the staff that they were very attentive and friendly.

We had 150 guests and the lower banquet room was perfect. Of course the views were breathtaking! We had cocktail hour for all guests and they had a beautiful arrangement of veggies and the staff walked around with apps. The bar is so big, so there was never a line...I can't tell you how many weddings I have been to and waited in a line for a drink.

We had private restrooms. They placed all the tables exactly how I wanted. We had a candy and cookie bar and it looked so good! The food...I am still receiving compliments on the size of the filets! You get what you pay for! Great food, great booze, great staff, great views.! It was wonderful!!!

My husband wanted bottles of Kristal and Bill was able too obtain several bottles that they didn't even sell.

I know it sounds expensive, but you are throwing the biggest party and event for your self...you owe it to make it an affair your family and friends will never forget!

I contacted The LeMont less than 2 months prior to my wedding...they were more than helpful throughout the whole process and more than willing to take on the challenge of a large wedding in such a short notice.

The room overlooking the city was immaculate! The service was nothing short of perfect! The food was phenomenal! My friends and family are still talking about the experience months later!

I cannot review how the Lemont is for large events. However, my husband and I went to the Lemont for our wedding reception dinner (only 8 guests). Lemont still made it a special evening-the cookie tray and cake we had delivered was displayed by our table. The waiter helped us with cutting the cake. We were treated as well as if we had 200 guests. The food and service is excellent.

Bill and Tony were a joy to work with as I planned my wedding reception from across the state. They made sure everything was perfect on the big day. My guests loved the view of Pittsburgh, something most venues can't provide. I would recommend the Lemont to any bride 2 be!

I worked with Bill Laughlin who was very responsive to our requests. Beautiful venue! Fireworks that evening for the pirates game which we could enjoy perfectly with this amazing view. We even had a rainbow that spanned across the city! Food was good, cake vendor they work with was good. I did have a matte board that I instructed Bill to use for my guest sign in that cost 50$. He did not put this out which was a disappointment because now I do not have a guest book. Also someone from Lemont took all of the contents of the bathroom box at the end of the evening and just left the box, also disappointing. Overall though beautiful venue and excellent service!!

This is hands down the best wedding venue in Pittsburgh, PA. The décor is stunning and the food is amazing. Tony and Bill were perfect and a pleasure to work with. They addressed all of our concerns and went the extra mile for us. They are great at paying attention to details you may forget about yourself. Our wedding reception was downstairs; there are private bathrooms and a private bar on this level. It was perfect for our size group (about 140) and everyone had a blast. Our guests LOVED the view of the city at night. Everyone commented that it was the best wedding they had ever attended.

The venue was amazing! Bill took care of every detail with care. The only thing I might have liked better was and extra server or two but it wasn't anything to get upset about. I would just suggest when booking this awesome venue to check what the ratio of server to guests is and make adjustments if necessary. The food was perfect and everyone raved over the view. Believe it or not the cost amazing!

As soon as my now husband and I saw the views from the LeMont, we knew we had to have our wedding reception there. It's truly the Pittsburgh experience. We were treated like royalty from the moment we entered the restaurant. They provided an extensive food tasting experience for our entire family. The day before our wedding we dropped off boxes of cookies and decorations and everything was set up absolutely perfectly the day of our wedding. Many of our guests commented not only on the quality of the food but the quality of the service. We would highly recommend the LeMont to everyone!

First, The Lemont maybe the prettiest venue in Pittsburgh. The view was awesome. They accommodated all of my guest's dietary needs (vegan, nut allergy, diary allergy, etc). The staff was top notch and got the food out quickly. I had several people tell me that was the best food they've had at a wedding. I would recommend them to anyone.

Bill Laughlin, who manages weddings at the Lemont, is a relaxed and friendly guy. But don't let his laid back attitude fool you: He runs a smooth show at the Lemont, and he's very experienced. I doubt if there is any hiccup or odd request that he hasn't handled before.
My now-husband and I planned our wedding remotely. We live in NYC and did not have a lot of time to commit to logistics and details. Bill and the Lemont made our lives so easy. Signing with the Lemont meant that our venue, appetizers, dinner, cake, booze and set-up would be taken care of by an experienced team, so we could focus on other things. The Lemont provides a series of standard meal options and floor plans, so you don't have to get in the weeds.
At the same time, for couples who have custom requests, Bill was very flexible on the details we wanted to alter. For example, we didn't want a wedding cake but we did want to serve our guests dessert. No problem. Bill let us sample the desserts from the Lemont's menu and served our selected instead of wedding cake. Bill was also receptive to our request to serve two different soups (even though the options only provide for one) to include vegetarian and non-vegetarian soup options.
The Lemont was the right choice for us under our circumstances and limitations, and I recommend it on all of the rating scales provided.
My only disappointment was that the dance floor space was a bit small (we had 120 guests). If your guests are literally willing to cut a rug around the edges of the dance floor, it's not a big deal (or maybe you could relocate the DJ?), but it is better suited to a smaller crowd.

The LeMont was so wonderful to work with. Bill is the banquet manager I worked most often with. He was extremely easy to get in touch with. He answered all my questions, which I mostly asked through email, very timely! The day of the wedding, everything was set up so beautifully! As soon as we got there, they had hors d’oeuvres for us and the bridal party. They were quick to get us drinks and help us relax a bit before being introduced! It was so fun! There was never a line at the bar, which was great, and I had so many people comment on how attentive the wait staff was! They truly did an amazing job, and I would recommend the LeMont to anyone!

My husband and I recently had our wedding reception at the LeMont and highly recommend it for future couples on so many levels. LeMont truly has the overall package: ambiance/reputation, AMAZING views and location, delicious food, and especially the overall quality of service and attentiveness of the staff. Particularly, LeMont's banquet manager, Bill Laughlin, has done countless weddings prior to ours and definitely knows what he is doing- from answering any of our questions throughout the planning process to ensuring that everything ran smoothly on the wedding day. Bill personally waited on us during the dinner and the service was so good that it was almost too much. As a result, Steve and I were able to enjoy ourselves without having to worry about anything which was great. Our guests were also satisfied and we are still receiving alot of postive feedback about their overall experience too.

Pricing varies based on which entree selection/s that you choose to serve, for us that ranged between $26.95 for chicken bruschetta to approx. $36.95 for Filet Mignon. For the quality and amount of food, it was definitely a good value. Another advantage that was great for us was doing the wedding cake through LeMont- which turned out to be beyond my expectations and our guests are STILL raving about. They commission Fenoglietto's who does many of the cakes specifically for the LeMont, Omni William Penn, and other top venues in Pittsburgh. LeMont does charge fees for bringing in an outside cake vendor which we wanted to avoid so it worked out for the best and came in arond $5.50 per slice.

Overall, if you are looking to have an unforgettable experience for your wedding in Pittsburgh, look no further than LeMont.

Bill and Tony, the event coordinators at Le Mont were extremely helpful and valuable to me during my wedding planning. Bill answered TONS of emails from me (not at all exaggerating) starting well over a year from the wedding.
The staff used special linens that we dropped off and arranged all of our centerpieces, escort table, wishing tree table, and gift table. They also lit around 150 candles before guests arrived! Bill worked hard to work out our bar cost limit and to make it work so that we could have enough wine served at dinner before the bar turned to a cash bar.

All evening the two coordinators were very attentive to the wedding party and they met all of our needs immediately!

The food was fantastic, I think I like the wedding options even more than the restaurant menu! Everything was elegant, delicious, and quick!
We were thrilled with the attention and service we received from Le Mont. The room was beautiful and of course the view was stunning. Our guests still comment on the beauty and elegance of the evening! It was the most perfect reception we could have imagined!

We had our wedding reception at LeMont this past May. Bill Laughlin was very easy to work with and took care of every question and concern I had throughout the planning process. Basically, half of our guests were from New Jersey and they have all said how beautiful the view was from Mt. Washington! We had open bar, hor d'oeuvres, wedding soup, salad, three entree choices, and the wedding cake, which everyone said was exceptional. My husband and I requested to extend the reception an additional hour and it was no problem to do so, which isn't always the case with wedding venues. However there was one issue that I would like to mention. This venue does not have a bridal suite and it was something I knew going into the booking, but we loved the view, so I overlooked it, as a "cigar room" is available for the bridal party to use during cocktail hour(mostly for the groomsmen). With that being said, I arrived to LeMont for our cocktail hour and was greeted by Bill. I was directed to a "restroom" with my BM's to get my dress bustled after asking where to go. It had a small sitting area, dark lighting, and was very warm. It was open to the entire restaurant and diners kept coming in to use the restroom, which was really annoying because we had to move out of the way, stop the bustling process, and start over. Therefore, missing cocktail hour and almost late for introductions. We tried to lock the door, but people kept knocking, which was not a pleasant experience and not what I expected from LeMont. Also, I was never brought a cocktail/hor d'oeuvres until right before introductions and was rushed because of this. This is my only complaint, as I would still recommend LeMont, however I felt it should be addressed for future brides expectations.

Wow! What a venue! Even if you've lived in Pittsburgh your entire life, the views from the windows at LeMont are still breathtaking. The ballroom is beautiful so you don't have to do much decorating beyond centerpieces and a few odds-and-ends. Bill and Tony are really, really chill---they're flexible and do everything to make your day perfect. The food was excellent, some of the best food we've ever had at any restaurant let alone a wedding. One comment is that we ordered the beef wellington appetizers and I think they forgot to serve them. Not one of my family members saw them being passed around.
Our biggest concern going into the day was the alcohol since it's a consumption-based charge. We had about 130 adults at our reception, closed the bar at dinner aside from wine served at the tables, no shots/no top-shelf, no champagne toast and our bill was a little under $7,000 for the alcohol alone. Our crowd was your usual mix of Pittsburgh guests---some who could drink 15 beers without batting an eye and lots of older people who didn't drink at all. I noticed the servers were filling the wine glasses at dinner--like literally topping off the wine glass and I had to ask them to be a little more prudent. Other than that, it was wonderful though! I'd highly recommend this as a venue!

Even 2 years after our wedding, family and friends still make comments about our reception and how wonderful it was!! LeMont did a fantastic job on the entire event and everyone was very professional. For the budget sensitive brides out there... Don't think that this is out of your price range! It is surprisingly affordable considering what a fantastic location it is and the amazing food. We didn't need to decorate at all due to the beautiful scenery and ambiance at the restaurant.

Wow - how could you not love this location?!?! Almost half of our 120 guests were from out of town, so this was the perfect venue to show off the beautiful city of Pittsburgh! Bill was great to work with and everything was set to perfection. I sent down my Aunt in advance of the reception to give it the "once over" and she said that the room looked absolutely perfect and was set exactly to my instructions.

For the bargain bride - don't write them off right away! I looked at several hotels/museums/reception halls in and around the city of Pittsburgh and this was by far the most affordable. Every other location that we visited had a set minimum amount of guests and/or food revenue. All in all, I had 122 guests and paid less than $10,000 for food - including tip and tax. A lot of other places (like the Priory Grand Hall, Heinz History Museum, etc.) had a food minimum starting at $15k. Plus, due to the location you don't have to pay as much for decorations. Believe me, everyone thought that they were attending this super expensive wedding due to the LeMont's reputation, but it was a bargain for us!

The LeMont's food and view are unbeatable. We had over 200 guests and the food was perfect! Beware of small fees like, cookie traying, cake cutting and extras for certain dishes.

The view was tremendous and the food exquisite. The banquet manager and captain are very professional and pleasant to work with. There was one unexpected inconvenience on the day of our wedding. Although things do happen, I feel could have been handled better. However, it was a nice evening overall.
