Exemplary Wedding Planners!! Great for Perfectionists w/Demanding Careers

This Thanksgiving, we are are grateful for the outstanding team at Lemon & Lime Event Design who turned our wedding dreams into reality this past June. As two individuals immersed in our work life (while still wanting a beautiful, well-thought-out, unique, but timeless wedding design), we entrusted L&L with our wedding planning— and it was the BEST decision we could’ve made! Their professionalism, kindness, and attention to detail is unparalleled. From our initial consultation with L&L all the way through our post-wedding logistics— every element was flawlessly executed. Their seamless integration of our cultural traditions into the day was remarkable— ensuring that every aspect was honored and celebrated with authenticity.

L&L asks the questions that you don’t even realize you need to be asking or thinking about while planning a wedding. And if you don’t know all of the answers— L&L provides thoughtful guidance on the best path ahead. In addition, L&L has curated a vendor network of the finest professionals in the DMV. L&L’s coordination with vendors made our wedding planning process so effortless. They also had so many custom creations made for our special day — to include an evil eye escort-wall display!

On the day of the wedding— the L&L team came prepared to handle any and all questions that came their way (lifting the burden entirely from me and my family). Many guests noted to us how smoothly the whole day was run and how different it was from their experiences at other weddings (from an organization & beauty perspective)— Our guests have been raving since June about how lovely the wedding was overall from the florals to the dancing! And so have we!! Thankful for the entire L&L team!

Amazing!!!

I don't know what I would have done without the Lemon & Lime ladies! Seriously, they were the best planners. Their guidance on design (color scheme, linens, flatware, glassware, etc.) was impeccable and in terms of logistics and the flow of our wedding day, everything was flawless. I wouldn't change a single thing, and I know L&L deserves the credit for that! Do yourself a huge favor and book Lemon & Lime for your next event! These ladies are professional, thoughtful, and so FUN! I can't wait to use L&L again for future events!

Lemon and Lime went above and beyond to make sure our day was PERFECT! They keep everything moving and make sure nothing goes wrong. Event Planning

I would highly recommend this company for your wedding or frankly, any other event! We completely trusted Lemon & Lime with our big day and did not have to worry about one thing.

The entire planning process was smooth and made us at-ease. We felt like we could ask L+L anything and they were so timely with their responses (even during this insane wedding time)! The day of, they were by our side, keeping us organized and making sure everything was going according to plan. They made sure our venue was perfectly set-up and exceeded all of our expectations.

Not only are they organized, detail-oriented and amazing planners, they are awesome ladies to work with and be around.

Amazing team!

We loved working with Lemon and Lime! These ladies are truly amazing and we already miss them a week after our wedding. Katey really listened to my concerns as a bride leading up to the wedding which was very much appreciated. Thorough & Thoughtful

I have never been compelled to write a review before- all I can say about this group is that they are the best. It is rare to work with people who are so passionate and perfect at what they do. They bring their expertise, talent, creativity, organization, and thorough nature to every piece of your wedding- no matter how big or small. Beyond the simple fact that they are wonderful to spend time with- they are unbelievably good at their jobs. I was not stressed for a second of my wedding day, and I have come to learn that is both rare and priceless. Our wedding went seamlessly entirely due to their management, run of show timeline, and skill. They anticipate everything, plan for everything, and have their process down to a T. In addition- they also make you feel at ease, special, and have your and your families happiness at the forefront. On the day of our wedding we had about 20 guests tell us, due to travel restrictions, they could no longer attend the wedding. Ashley and Karrie reorganized our entire seating chart and table count without missing a beat so that our reception wouldn't have empty or uneven tables. After a perfect day and night, we returned to our room to find that they had organized our gifts, left us extra hotel room keys (that they knew I would forget), and mailed our marriage paperwork for us. My family cannot stop raving about how wonderful they were- my mom still brings them up almost daily. Honestly, imagine your most thoughtful friend mixed with the organization of Leslie Knope in a fanny pack- that's them. Ashley and Karrie, I can't thank you enough. I would recommend Lemon & Lime to anyone getting married, it will be the best money you spend.

Love Lemon & Lime Event Design!

My husband and I got married at the Pendry in November and we selected Lemon & Lime as our wedding planners. The L&L ladies were a pure joy to work with. I like to think of Katey, Ashley, Yen and Karrie as the "Fab 4" because all ladies brought such a great and unique perspective to the planning process! All of their planning and hard work was evident during the big day! L&L was so organized and coordinated...from their clipboards, run of show timeline, to their attire and cute fanny packs :) .... they didn't miss a beat! L&L made us their #1 priority and could not have made our day more seamless! We had 100% confidence our wedding day would go as planned! I already miss the calls and planning meetings with these awesome women and wish I could get married all over again to relive the planning and special day!

Best Wedding Planners!!

If you've just gotten engaged, do yourself the biggest favor and book lemon & lime first before doing anything else! They are by far the best wedding planners in the Baltimore area and they travel, so book them even if you aren't getting married in Baltimore. The ladies of lemon & lime are super creative, fun, talented, organized, and smart and I promise you will enjoy every second spent with them planning your wedding. They took care of everything during our wedding weekend and made it so easy for my family and bridal party to relax and enjoy themselves. No lugging decor or gifts around! My parents still talk about how great lemon & lime is! Trust me and book lemon & lime!

Best Planners Ever!

Hiring Lemon & Lime was the absolute BEST decision we made in the wedding planning process. Ashley, Karrie, and team made the entire process actually enjoyable! We hired them after booking our venue, and they were there for us every step of the way. They never overstepped, respecting when we wanted to do something on our own (rehearsal dinner, for example). When hiring a planner, I was worried I wouldn't have much input or creative control. Boy, was I wrong! I felt in total control the entire time, but with the best support system in the world. They were always there to bounce ideas off of and give input when I had no idea what I was doing. One of the most important reasons I wanted a wedding planner was to lessen the day-of chaos. My parents, husband, and I were so relaxed and genuinely enjoyed every moment. It's all I could've hoped for. We got so many complements about our wedding being the "best wedding ever." I have to agree! If you're on the fence about hiring a planner - just do it! It is worth every single penny (and more!). Thanks Ashley, Karrie, and team! We love you so much!

Lemon and Lime Event Design are Excellent and Planned our Dream Wedding

My husband Mike and I live in the Pittsburgh area but decided to have our wedding at Sagamore Pendry because we fell in love with the hotel and the Fells Point area on a trip the year before. As we began to plan our special day, we knew we would need to hire wedding planners and Lemon and Lime were the perfect fit. As we began our initial meetings, these ladies understood our vision and, as our plan and vision took on a life of its own, Lemon and Lime was there to guide us in the planning process. Our wedding went from an evening to a weekend of festivities. From a distillery tour at Sagamore Distillery, a welcome reception at Rye Street Tavern, the ceremony/reception at the Pendry, and a farewell brunch — these ladies nailed it! We worked with some of the BEST vendors in the Baltimore/Washington DC area and our entire weekend was absolutely everything we hoped it would be! I can’t say enough about Ashley, Katey, Yen and their entire team. Mike and I will miss their emails, calls, and correspondences. They became a second family! Love you ladies and Thank you Thank You from the bottom of our hearts for making it a weekend we will never forget! A love note to lemon & lime

Words could never do justice how much my family, husband and I love and appreciate this team!!! We could never have had our wedding without them - or at least not a wedding that didn't involve a courthouse! The months leading up to our big day we were truly able to enjoy and appreciate every second of anticipation because we knew these ladies had everything under control! And on our big day they even somehow convinced the weather gods to smile upon us ;)

I never had an ounce of doubt that everything would run smoothly throughout the entire planning process and on the actual wedding day, solely because I would trust these ladies with my life -- and DEFINITELY with my wedding! They make the entire process so fun and stress free that you will not be able to relate to any internet memes about how difficult wedding planning is, because that just will not be the case for you!

Best decision we made besides actually choosing to get married!!!

Choosing to work with Lemon & Lime was hands down one of the best and easiest decisions we made when planning our wedding! They are an unbelievable group of women to work with, and made the planning process so much easier and more enjoyable than I ever thought possible. They are organized, kind, fun and incredibly easy to work with. Not to mention brilliant planners that did not let a single detail slip through.

Katey, Ashley, Morgan and the rest of the team truly have their clients best interests at heart. They listen to every question, comment and concern that may arise, and are respectful of your wishes, time and budget. They are well connected and well respected in the industry, and are willing to pursue any crazy idea you may envision.

Our wedding weekend was beyond perfect and went off without a hitch. The L&L ladies brought our vision to life on our wedding day and were there the entire time making sure we enjoyed every second possible. One of the saddest parts about the wedding being over is not being able to work with them on a weekly basis!! You will never regret hiring L&L and entrusting them in one of the most memorable days of your life.

After we got engaged, there was a brief few weeks where I started "planning on my own" and bought a binder and a few books on how to tackle wedding events. From a logistics perspective, I knew what needed to get done, and we were planning an Indian wedding, so also knew it would be...a LOT to say the least. From a design perspective, I really had no clue where to begin. I also wasn't sure who could help me with wedding logistics. I have a busy job that keeps me on the road, and knew I needed help.

So I called Katey and the L&L girls! I had been following Lemon and Lime's Facebook and Instagram pages for a while, and knew that stylistically, they were experts and could help guide me. I was really worried they wouldn't be able to travel out of Maryland for my wedding (in Louisville, Kentucky) but not only were they willing, they were eager and excited! They dug right in, sending us a very professional proposal and walking us through all necessary steps over the phone.

The design options and process to get to our final mood board was also fantastic. I shared the final PDF from the Lemon & Lime team with so many coworkers and friends, and everyone was blown away. Our colors ended up being so perfect - it was like the team could read my mind (and be better at reading my own mind, than me!)

I work in consulting and can confidently say that I wish my clients would operate like Lemon & Lime. I didn't we wait more than a couple of hours for a question to be answered.

Given how complicated Indian weddings can be to plan, we were also worried that our wedding would end up being "too much" for these ladies. Not the case at all! They embraced complexity, even as my mom introduced more and more vendors. HIRE them immediately, before they book up on your wedding date! :)

I'll be honest as a skeptical groom, I was pretty convinced that we didn't really wedding planners. However I've learned that my now wife is never wrong. Lemon & Lime was absolutely amazing throughout the entire process! When we met with them about 8 months before our wedding to have a brief introduction meeting, I left feeling like Cinderella, we had the perfect fit! They were responsive, hilarious, super fun to work with and INCREDIBLY supportive with all the curve balls that we threw at them during planning. They wedding day itself was so much fun, and ran so smoothly because of their tireless attention to detail, and their dedication to their work. I cannot imagine what it would have been like without them, and we are so grateful we got to celebrate with them! 20 out of 10, would recommend.

Y'all, I really can't put into words how much we loved Katey, Ashley, and Morgan. We worked with them for close to two years leading up to our wedding, and we loved all of our design meetings and phone calls. Not only were they super creative, organized, and on top of their game, but they were just plain FUN to work with. They took my design interests and my husband's and blended them into a perfect wedding. They handled all of the behind the scenes coordinating and planning, and it made wedding planning completely stress free. We met with several wedding planners before deciding on them, and we ended up choosing them because they really are able to make each wedding suit their specific client's needs and wants- no two of their weddings look alike. They are rockstars- hire them!

There are truly no words to describe how wonderful it was to work with Lemon & Lime to make our wedding day unique and perfect. From vendor recommendations to design to day of coordination, we could not have asked for a better event. We looked at our wedding as the biggest party we'd ever throw and the L&L ladies ran with it! Our day was a great mix of classy and party. Ashley and Morgan even worked with a vendor to customize the biggest bar I've ever seen at an event which made my husband so happy. The planning process was so easy and organized and our wedding day ran so smoothly that I was stress free (I'm just as surprised as you)! My maid of honor even caught Morgan dancing the night away while keeping everything under control... being able to enjoy what you're doing while managing tons of vendors and 200 guests proves just how passionate and amazing these ladies are. Marrying my husband was, of course, the best decision of my life... but booking Lemon & Lime was the second best decision of my life!!! :)

They’ve had years of experience, are professional, knowledgeable, organized, and have great working relationships with outside vendors. They are incredibly well-connected, which should speak for itself! If you go to book a vendor and mention that you’re working with Lemon & Lime, that vendor will find a way to fit you into their schedule because these ladies are that great to work with!!

They were able to recommend vendors and creative solutions to help us stay within our budget.
They communicated directly with our vendors and kept track of everything, so we were able to relax and enjoy ourselves in the weeks and days leading up to our wedding. Plus their staff is AMAZING and there for you for anything you, your wedding party, or your wedding guests may need. These ladies are downright FUN and have a positive infectious attitude that makes them a blast to be around! I promise, even if you’re talking about budgets, you’ll do so with a smile on your face!

They pay attention to all of the little details and really tailor your wedding day to you!
They even stocked my bridal suite with my favorite snacks and picked up Chick-fil-A (our favorite) for my husband and I as a late night snack. They really make an effort to get to know you individually and as a couple, and it results in a friendship for life!

I could not recommend using Lemon and Lime more. They took my vision and not only brought it life--but completely blew me away. They made our wedding more beautiful than I ever could have dreamed. I am one of those brides/people that needs to be in control of what’s going on to feel like my wedding planning isn’t out of control. I’ve had experience working in the wedding industry before and know it’s virtually impossible to run your wedding and be the bride (and have fun) at the same time. I knew I needed help and I would only ever trust the Lemon and Lime ladies to see that my wedding day went exactly as planned. These ladies are so good even my OCD-self felt more than comfortable taking a step back and letting them take over and do their thing. They made sure every detail was coordinated, from picking up all our small detail items from our house the week of the wedding to picking up our dog so she could be in our photos on our wedding day. I love that they provided me with an almost minute by minute schedule of the wedding weekend more than a month in advance so I could see how things were falling into place. On top of their terrific organization and responsiveness, they are also so much fun, friendly and hilarious. Without them our wedding would never have gone so well. It was truly a pleasure to work with them, I couldn’t recommend them more highly!

They were not just extremely knowledgeable about vendors, they also recommended ones that were perfect for the type of day we had in mind. I would 100% recommend Lemon and Lime to anyone and everyone planning a wedding. We worked primarily with Ashley and she was not only kind and fun to be around, but she was also a great help. Without her I would not have felt so relaxed on the wedding day - since I knew Ashley was there handling the event I was able to enjoy the entire day and really focus on soaking it all in. Aside from agreeing to marry my husband, hiring Lemon & Lime event design was the best decision I made during the whole wedding process. It also was by far and away the best investment I ever made.
We booked Lemon and Lime about a year before the wedding to help bring our vision together. Both my husband and I are very busy people who wanted our wedding to be perfect, but did not have the time to agonize over every little detail. Katey and Ashley took away all of the monotonous planning so we could focus on the fun decisions. They were incredibly organized, and do a significant amount of research before recommending vendors. They have amazing relationships with so many different companies, and we definitely felt like VIPs every time we met with our vendors as a result.
They were able to bring our vision to life, and take obscure concepts and make them a reality. When I would make a request that seemed absolutely crazy, they knew exactly the right people to get it done. I never felt like I was loosing control of my own wedding with them, in fact, I felt like they knew exactly what I wanted even when I couldn't verbalized. I was so impressed at the wedding when I saw that they had even done extra decorations in certain places, because they knew we would like it.
The day of the wedding they were absolutely critical, and everything flowed perfectly because of them. They did more prep work behind the scenes than I will ever know, and it took away all the stress because of it. I could actually enjoy my wedding!
Last but not least, they were the perfect therapists. Whenever there was drama, they were always a calming presence to help us redirect and realize what was most important. I looked forward to every meeting with them because they were so much fun, and truly cared about what was going on in our lives. I could not recommend them more highly, because I couldn't have done this without them

We just loved them so much! They are seriously the best at their job. We started working with them about a year and a half before the wedding and they just made everything so carefree for us. They sent us emails when we needed to do something and narrowed down choices for us so we didn't spend hours going over unnecessary details (which was perfect for a busy engaged couple). They were absolutely lovely and our families fell in love with them, too. The planning was amazing but we didn't know their true value until the wedding day...WOW! Everything felt smooth and if it wasn't, we never found out- which was just the way it should be. I would recommend them to absolutely everyone! They're the nicest people and the best at what they do.

Ashley and Kate took the stress out of planning the big day. I am experienced at throwing large parties, but there is so much more detail involved in planning a wedding that their help was crucial. Every time I had a question or a concern, I received a quick response. They either gave me an answer to my question or told me that they would take care of the issue. They really came through for us. Each item on the list of things I wanted them to do was handled professionally. I am not embarrassed to say that I whispered "I love you" to Ashley as we were getting lined up to walk down the aisle. At the end of the night, I asked what I needed to do, and they handed me a few bags with the leftover food from the caterer and our leftover party favors, sign-in book, etc and told me we did not have to do anything else.
We were able to totally enjoy the wedding knowing that everything was in competent hands all evening.

Katey, Ashley and the entire Lemon & Lime team are incredible! We had them for Day of Coordination and the level of detail, organization, communication, etc that these ladies provided was beyond anything we expected. I couldn't imagine our wedding day without them. About a month before our wedding, they took over the show and communicated with all of the vendors to make sure that everything went according to plan. The "Run of Show" for the wedding was the most organized document I have ever seen with every detail and event broken down by the minute to make sure that everything went off without a problem. Also during the wedding reception, Katey and Morgan were constantly checking to make sure we had enough to eat or drink and that all family members were around for the key events like the speeches, cake cutting, first dances before they occurred so that nothing was missed. And even after the wedding, they cleaned up everything and delivered all gifts and leftover items the following week. This team is amazing and truly cares about their clients and making sure the day is perfect. I have nothing but good things to say about them and would recommend them to anyone I know getting married!

We used Lemon and Lime's wedding coordinating service so we could have their guidance and help 2-3 months leading on up to the wedding and on the big day. Beyond our close work with them in the last months leading up to the wedding, Katey and Ashley were readily available to help answer some of our questions and point us in the right direction for some of our other vendors throughout our wedding planning year.

I am beyond thankful that we found Lemon and Lime and that they were a part of our wedding. Particularly since we were planning our Baltimore wedding from Colorado. Katey and Ashley are amazing at what they do and I loved their organization and communication. Lemon and Lime are a class act - their run of show planning was perfect. They did a fantastic job making sure all of the vendors were on the same page leading up to and during the wedding. They did whatever we needed on our wedding day - including beer runs, making sure small issues didn't turn into big issues, boxing up all of the items we wanted to keep, and making sure everything remained on schedule. We were on the fence during the planning about getting an event planner, looking back it was one of the best decisions we made. Energetic, knowledgeable, organized, patient, talented, fun to be around, the list could go on forever! They made what some could consider a daunting and overwhelming process…planning a wedding…a lot of fun! Our wedding day turned out to be more than anything we could have dreamed. Their “Run of Show” for our wedding weekend was a thing of beauty. Every little detail was accounted for and they made sure everything we planned for went off without a hitch! They coordinated with all of our vendors and decorated our venue exactly how we had imagined it. It truly took our breath away. During the wedding they made sure my husband and I ate dinner, had drinks when we wanted them, and made sure we followed the timeline without missing a moment. They even arranged for the clubhouse bar to open up for a couple hours for an after-hours party! We didn’t have to worry about anything, from the moment we arrived to our venue until the moment we left. They cleaned up everything after the wedding was over and brought our gifts and decor to our house the next morning while we left for our mini-moon. This team truly cares about what you want as well as the budget you are trying to stay within. It was an absolute pleasure to work with Lemon & Lime and we would do it again in a heartbeat.

On your wedding day you really only want to care about one thing....the actual getting married part! I honestly cannot imagine my wedding without using Lemon & Lime as my planners - they made sure everything was in order- before, after and during the ceremony/reception and really allowed me to enjoy the happiest day of my life. Prior to my ceremony they had a "run of show" and had organized everything (deliveries, etc) with all my vendors. They also went an extra mile and even picked lunch up for myself & bridal party...which was awesome. There service was invaluable - my ceremony was well organized, my reception area was setup and done exactly how I envisioned, and even clean up (they even made sure I got everything back that was mine and everything was delivered perfectly back to us). They were extremely professional but also really down to earth and it was just like having a good friend there - I even somehow cut my finger during the reception and Ashley had a band-aid ready to go haha. From the moment I met Ashley and Katey I knew they were perfect for me! I was looking for a Day of Coordinator and these girls were perfect. I booked them almost 9 months ahead of my big day for their Month of Services. Ashley began emailing me almost immediately after our first meeting to check in, and she would continue touching base throughout my planning process to make sure everything was going ok. Lemon & Lime was absolutely the best money spent at our wedding. Katey, Ashley and the Lemon and Lime team are truly spectacular! Our wedding was fabulous and went off without a hitch all thanks to Lemon and Lime. They were available months before the wedding to consult on all wedding matters and gave wonderful suggestions, always sending lots of pictures and vendor options. They are very plugged in to the wedding scene in the area and know many vendors personally and were always able to help us find the right match for our wedding. The day of the wedding they coordinated all of our vendors and decorated our venue in the most amazing way possible. During the wedding they ensured that my husband and I ate dinner, always had our glasses full, and that all of our big moments went smoothly. Lemon and Lime Event Design helped to make our wedding day perfect!! We were getting married in Baltimore but don't live in the area, Ashely and Katey did an amazing job helping us to coordinate everything perfectly even when we couldn't be there. They were extremely flexible with us from meeting with us when we were in town and answering our emails quickly. They helped us with so many details to make the day beautiful including helping us pick our linens, having someone design our paper products and providing us with the most detailed schedule of our wedding weekend so we could be completely relaxed. We were able to enjoy the entire weekend because Lemon and Lime was working behind the scenes the whole time coordinating with all of our vendors (photographer, videographer, band etc) and making sure everything was set up just how we imagined. The guest at our wedding kept raving about how seamless everything at our wedding went and how relaxed we both were this was completely due to Lemon and Lime! Our bridal party loved having Ashely and Katey to let them know where or what they had to do. After working with them to plan our wedding we not only had the best day every but also gained two friends in Baltimore! They far exceeded our expectations and went above and beyond at every opportunity to make sure our day was perfect. We were so please to work with Lemon and Lime Event Design for our wedding. We both live in North Carolina, but decided to have our wedding in Maryland so that my grandmother, who lives in Maryland, would be able to attend. We had their partial planning package, and it worked perfectly for us. The partial planning included help with select vendors, and month-of and day-of coordination. Planning long distance, we knew we'd need some help finding the big items (venue, caterer, photographer, etc). Working with Lemon and Lime they were able to utilize their networks, and recommend vendors that fit our needs (budget, wedding "feel"). I think this was a real benefit, as they have worked in the area for a while now, and know many vendors in the area and could quickly assess who would be the best fit for us. Due to their knowledge and expertise, the process went really smoothly, and we loved all of the vendors that they recommended. Day-of Lemon and Lime's staff really went above and beyond to make sure that everything went smoothly. They were able to step in and speak with the hotel when we hit a snag with our room block, meaning my mother didn't have to worry about it and instead we got to spend some quality moments together. They smoothly coordinated getting our decorations in place, and even worked with my aunt, who set up our DIY flowers. They even gave us a lift so we could get some amazing photos by the water at sunset. Overall, our day went smoothly, and I know that Lemon and Lime had a HUGE hand in that. I would whole-heartedly recommend Lemon and Lime's wedding planning services.

We had the perfect wedding, and we honestly owe almost all of it to Lemon and Lime. I was initially skeptical that we needed a planner. We had our ceremony and reception at a non-traditional venue that was essentially do-it-yourself, and we had no idea what to do. So the comfort of knowing that Ashley and Katey would not just plan everything but help design and decorate sold me. In hindsight, I was foolish for not trusting my now-wife from day one on this decision.

They provided great recommendations for vendors, helped to work within our budget, and were just awesome to be around. My wife and I are both sad it's all over because we all have to move on, and they're so fun we don't want to! They probably had weddings every weekend before and after ours, and all the months of planning for all of those couples, and yet I always felt like they were only working for us. They were always so responsive and personal.

The week before the wedding we had to make several venue changes, including our hotel for the guests and our rehearsal dinner restaurant. They stepped in right away (not part of the contract, by the way) and took care of everything, solving all our problems and keeping us apprised of what was going on. Long story short, we had to change hotels twice because of overbooking issues; they found us solutions and executed. My dad arrived from out of town, and they were calling him telling him how to get to the new hotel. All of our families just loved Katey and Ashley.

On our day, everything went off without a hitch, and my wife and I got to spend all the time enjoying the moment and our friends and family, and not worrying about are we running behind schedule, will the vendors charge us more if we run long, does the DJ know the schedule, who is getting food for my fiance while they're getting their hair/makeup done, etc. a million little questions/potential problems we never had to answer! Trust us, get a planner, and choose Lemon & Lime!

My Mother in Law was very generous and had offered to pay for this service. At the time I didn't feel it was necessary, but boy was I wrong! My gratitude and love of Katey and Lemon and Lime is priceless. It was so great for them to figure out the timeline and the execution of everything. I never thought once on the Wedding Day of something going wrong. The fact that my family, friends and myself were able to relax and enjoy getting their hair and makeup done and enjoying that moment was irreplaceable. They also provided us with pre-wedding timelines, tipping guides, and any information we needed. Their large inventory of wedding décor and items was also a plus. It was such a sense of relief that a few days before the wedding I gave Lemon and Lime all of my décor and plan and leave it all up to them, I was actually able to relax. I think the best thing about it was not only my husband I able to enjoy the weekend, but our family was too, and therefore all of our guests.

Ashley and lemon & lime were fantastic. Although I am fairly organized person, I have a very demanding job, and I don't think I would have been able to pull off our wedding and continue to work without Ashley's help. We used her services for the month before the wedding, and it was without a doubt the best money we spent as I (and my mother!) were very calm the day of the wedding and didn't have to worry about a thing. I told Ashley when we first spoke that if there were any problems at the wedding, I didn't want to be aware of them and wanted our planner to take care of them. Ashley definitely kept up her end of the bargain as apparently there were issues with the transportation that I only learned about when we got back from our honeymoon. Her rates are very reasonable compared to other planners in the DC area. I would highly recommend her.

Lemon & Lime planned our entire wedding from start to finish. My now-husband and I have very hectic schedules, so we really relied on them for everything. They gave us good recommendations throughout the entire process and were very responsive to all of our questions. We were very happy with our vendors, band, and officiant—all of whom were recommended by Lemon & Lime.

Lemon & Lime coordinated all of our vendors and took care of any problems. I had no worries the week of my wedding and had barely any last-minute tasks because they took care of it all.

Their strength is their dedication to ensuring that your wedding captures your personalities. I was the anti-bride and really didn’t value the importance of the small details. (Boy was I wrong!) Lemon & Lime took care of all of our small details, which every single guest that I have spoken to noticed and complimented! They were able to execute such a personal task because they really took the time to get to know us. We met with them numerous times throughout the process and spoke on the phone a lot, too. They came to all of our big vendor meetings and provided invaluable guidance. I absolutely hated wedding planning (again, I was the anti-bride), but really looked forward to meeting with them. They are kind and caring people and are super, super fun. By the end of the process, I actually found myself enjoying some of the tasks.

Ashley, Katey, and the team were beyond helpful, available, and flexible during my wedding planning. I worked primarily with Ashley, and she answered every single one of my (many!) emails so promptly (which is HUGE! I always knew Ashley was there for me and I REALLY appreciated that). Ashley recommended great vendors and even had items available for my husband and I to use during our wedding (which was so awesome!). I really appreciated the time and energy that Ashley put into making sure my wedding was exactly how I envisioned. I started my planning thinking I did not need a wedding planner, but leading up to the wedding and the day of, I can say with 100% certainty that I could not have done it without them! They took so much stress and pressure off of me and my family, and they were there in so many ways (more than I can even name: the rehearsal, coordinating with all if my vendors, maintaining a positive attitude (which I was so thankful for!), managing the day of, picking up small things from my house, setting up all the decor, running the show, making sure I knew where to go and when, coordinating everything, managing the photo booth, moving things around throughout the day, cleaning up the decor, helping guests, etc. etc.). I cannot recommend the Lemon & Lime team enough (and I have!). I am so, so thankful that I hired them. We found lemon & lime about 2 months before our wedding. All of the details of the day were overwhelming us, and we just wanted to enjoy the time leading up to our wedding. The ladies at lemon & lime listened to our vision and coordinated with our vendors to help everything flow. I cannot express my extreme happiness with our experience with Lemon and Lime properly. From our initial email requesting more information, to our wedding day, the ladies from L&L were beyond our expectations.

They are an extremely fun, passionate group, and truly strive to make your wedding everything you envision. We worked most closely with Ellen Franz, who was just amazing. The owners, Katey and Ashley were also in regular contact with me over the course of our engagement. Any questions, big or small, they answered quickly and with enthusiasm. Crazy idea? Don't worry, they can make it happen.

When our bakery closed two weeks before the wedding, they were on it , helping find solutions and offering to handle anything necessary. Issues also arose with our venue regarding linens, and Ellen handled it when I was ready to lose my mind.

The day of, Ellen and Ashley were on site and handled everything. It all went smoothly and exactly as we had hoped. Our guests are still commenting on how amazing they were. They were present without being intrusive. Honestly, after an 18 month engagement, it felt more like two additional friends were there. I'll truly miss working with them and will highly recommend them to anyone.

I really can’t heap enough praises on our wedding planning team from Lemon & Lime Event Design. They planned our entire wedding week to perfection, including our rehearsal dinner, welcome brunch, wedding ceremony and reception. They anticipated issues before the issues ever arose, responded to requests quickly and effectively, and allowed us to enjoy our nuptials stress free.

We began working with Lemon & Lime over a year before our wedding. Because we live in Guam and were hosting our wedding back home in Maryland, we knew we really needed someone who could handle the demands of long distance planning. The ladies of Lemon & Lime organized planning meetings whenever we were home for a visit, and they arranged FaceTime meetings, Skype calls and conference calls when we needed to speak with a vendor from afar. They kept us on target with our timeline, and guided us through the chaotic last few weeks before our wedding.

My husband and I used them for month of wedding coordination, but we first met with Ashley at our venue a year before the wedding so she could see the space and we could go over our vision. In the month before the wedding, we again met with Ashley to go over the schedule of events. Ashley reached out to all of our vendors with a detailed schedule, which allowed my husband and I to focus on last minute details (and there are more than you realize!). Ashley came to the rehearsal with us to familiarize herself with the space and help hang baby's breath wreaths we had made. The day of the wedding she picked up all decor from our house and set up (and I may be biased) the most beautiful wedding I have ever seen! Throughout the night Ashley and her team were there to take care of any last minute details (helping to bustle my dress, moving family photos inside when it started raining, adjusting the lighting at the venue, handing out tip envelops to vendors, you name it). It was great to be able to relax knowing we were in totally capable hands. I would absolutely recommend Lemon & Lime if you are looking for a down to earth but detail oriented wedding planner!

We hired Lemon & Lime as our day of coordinator, it was one of the best decisions that we made. I don't think I can say enough good things about Lemon & Lime, they were there for us during the entire planning process. I worked specifically with Lyndsay and she was incredible. Anytime I had questions or doubts she was there to help me. Thanks to Lyndsay and the Lemon & Lime team, I didn't have any responsibilities or worries the entire day. We were able to enjoy the entire day from start to finish without any stress. We literally just showed up, got married and had a wonderful day/evening. Let me start by saying that I was initially very reluctant to hire a wedding planner. I thought that wedding planners were only for rich people and the cost of a wedding planner would just inflate our budget. Needless to say, I was not going to be an easy to please client.

In the end, I can say that Lemon and Lime event design was by far the best money we spent on our wedding. They were incredibly organized throughout the whole process. They gave us have peace of mind that nothing would slip through the cracks. They also helped design an absolutely stunning ceremony and reception. All of our guests were highly complimentary of the entire wedding.

Lemon and Lime made great vendor suggestions (DJs, Photographers, Florists, etc.) which helped us keep our budget reasonable without sacrificing a quality product. They also helped out with a lot of little details that extend past the scope of their roles. For example, our cake vendor agreed to place flowers on our cake in a specific arrangement but neglected to do so. Ashley and Ellen stepped-up and placed the flowers beautifully making it look very professional.

When it came to the day of the wedding, they made sure everything ran smoothly. Even when issues came up that could have ruined the day, they helped everyone to remain calm and helped identify solutions which allowed us to continue to enjoy our day.

I may have started out as a resistant client, but I ended as a complete convert. If you are like I was and concerned about the costs that a planner will add to your budget, I highly recommend you let go of that feeling and hire Lemon and Lime. All of the things they will do for your wedding will more than make up for the costs.

What can I say that hasn't already been said? We chose the ladies of L&L for our month of coordination, but it was much more than that. After our first meeting with Katey & Ashley bonding over all things Maryland, our pups, and Ohio we knew they were the best fit for us and what we wanted for our low key day. We had a long engagement and Katey & Ashley were always sending us emails to check in to see how things were going and if we needed anything at all. Katey met with us for our consultation at Local Color Flowers and set up the entire run of show for the weekend, coordinating with all of our vendors. The weekend of our wedding, they were amazing. Our venue was "do it yourself", so the L&L girls had to do all the set up & breakdown, and I can't even begin to tell you how I felt when I walked into the barn and saw my ideas come to life and how wonderful and beautiful they made everything look. It was so nice to know that I did not have to worry about a thing that morning, all I had to do was hang out with my BM's, drink mimosa's and get ready... I knew everything was in good hands with Katey & the rest of the L&L girls. The were in contact all morning long with vendors and my MOH's & the BM to make sure our schedule was still on time and that we didn't need anything at all. I can not express enough my gratitude for these ladies and everything that they did for us to make our day memorable and special and go off without a hitch. I was never a believer in having a wedding planner & Katey & the L&L girls changed my mind. If you're looking... BOOK THEM.... you will not be sorry! I know we'll have a lifelong friendship with Katey, Ashley and the L&L girls!

Lemon & Lime (L&L) were absolutely amazing. We hired them for month of coordination, and let me just say that was the best money we spent on the entire wedding. All of the L&L ladies are SO SWEET, creative, and organized, and you can really tell that when they are working with you, you are their 100% most important priority. I specifically worked with Lyndsay, Katey, and Ellen on my November 30th wedding. Lyndsay was amazingly proactive with everything, and responded to ALL of my millions of emails with lightning speed. L&L coordinated all of our vendors, organized our timeline for the day (down to the MINUTE), set up all of our décor for the ceremony and reception and made sure everything was running smoothly throughout the day. They even picked up lunch for the bridesmaids and groomsmen and checked in on us throughout the day to see if there was anything they could do.
During the reception, they were lifesavers with their Wedding Survival Kit, including fashion tape, bandaids, and most importantly, TUMS! It was because of L&L that I was able to be cool, calm, and collected and really soak in and ENJOY the entire wedding day. I didn’t feel a bit of stress or worry because I knew that L&L had it all under control! What was also important to me was that my mom and sister both be stress-free and not have to run around like crazy people on the wedding day. Thanks to Lemon & Lime, we were able to enjoy the hotel suite and we sipped mimosas and got ready for the walk down the aisle!
I feel like Lemon & Lime were more than coordinators, they felt like good friends. As a person who, at first, was on the fence about hiring a month of/day of coordinator, I strongly recommend every bride hire one, specifically Lemon & Lime!! I really cannot express in words my gratitude to them for making my wedding day run so perfectly and keeping everyone happy throughout the process.

I don't think I could say enough great things about Lemon and Lime. I would not have had a wedding without them! They were with me every step of the way. My wedding day went so smoothly. My only job was to have my hair and makeup done... then I showed up at the venue and it had all come together perfectly! Besides being nervous about everyone looking at me during my vows I had a completely stress free day. These ladies are worth every penny and then some... Lemon and Lime were amazing! Our wedding ran so smoothly and they took care of everything. I didn't have to worry at all that day. They provided me with suggestions for vendors and even helped me with a last minute printing crisis. I worked with Lemon & Lime - specifically Lyndsay and Ashley - for the month of package, which was great. I kept going back and forth on whether I should get a wedding coordinator and I am so happy that I did as without them I would have just been stressed the day of the wedding. From the first meeting to the end, they were super responsive to my needs. I had contracted with most of m vendors, but I still needed to finalize transportation, lighting, and programs/seating assignments and they helped with all three by determining the vendors I should compare and even helping me get quotes and finalize with them. They created a super detailed day of timeline that was extremely helpful so that I could tell everyone where they needed to be and when, but also were open to changes I wanted to make and fit in things I added at the last minute. On the day of the wedding Lyndsay was with me for most of the day to make sure everything went smoothly. I had a church wedding so she was there to make sure the ceremony went off without a hitch, but they also had other members of the team at the venue making sure vendors showed up and everything looked great before the guests arrived. The bridal party and I got to the venue a little early and she made sure to bring us down apps/drinks so we had something to snack on before the reception started. And then kept us within the timeline for the rest of the night. We didn't even have to worry about the gifts or decor items I had as she brought them to my mom's house the next day. We were able to continue our celebration without having to worry about break down or anything. So if you are debating about whether to go with a wedding coordinator it is totally worth it and I would definitely pick Lemon & Lime as they really are dedicated to making your wedding perfect.

I just had the pleasure of working with Ashley and all the girls at Lemon and Lime and I LOVED THEM SO MUCH- I miss them now that my wedding is over!
If I could go back and get them earlier in my planning (I did the month package) I would certainly go back in time and have them throughout the year. BUT even just having the final month package (even though Ashley met with me to go to appts, emailed with me daily, and took my calls a little before my month started :) She and her girls went ABOVE AND BEYOND to make my life as easy as possible. I was able to truly enjoy my wedding, family and friends all because they took care of everything and made it as stress-free as possible. Ashley and her girls are truly remarkable and I couldn't of had the wedding experience I did without them. My favorite memory of them was when I realized after my ceremony that my shoes were killing my feet, she made one of her girls go to her car and get me flip flops!!! I mean they took care of me and my bridal party as if we were family- I can't say enough kind words about them and if you considering a planner- PICK LEMON AND LIME!!!

LEMON AND LIME EVENT DESIGN are amazing! I think about how to start writing this review, if only to say, I would not have been able to survive without them. They are unbelievably detailed, wonderful, caring, time-oriented, savvy, creative, and just plain awesome. My husband and I live in Chicago, so I was anxious about planning a wedding from afar. Lemon and Lime helped us through every step of the wedding planning process. They spent time with us during the weekends we came for site visits and tastings, spent hours chatting about design, logistics, and vendors, and helped make our parents feel at ease every step of the way.

The weekend of the wedding everything went as planned because of them. I gave them a very lengthy list of placement of the random decor items I purchased. Not only did they set everything up exactly as I asked, but they took the decor one step further! Caitlin and the design team even constructed a hanging installation to place over the head table. I cannot gush more about this entire team. If I lived in Baltimore I would invite them over to my house every Friday just to hang out! They are amazing ladies!

Our wedding weekend was a magical, and a dream come true. We owe it all to them!

These girls were my savior! I had issues with my venue the whole planning process and having Katey and Ellen totally put my mind at ease! They are genuinely excited and there for you as a friend but very professional and get things done. I had a vision and they totally executed it for me so I could be stress free on my wedding day. If I did need anything day of they were right there to make it happen. At the end of the night they packed everything up for my mom to pick up the next day and even took care of mailing in my marriage license while I was away on the honeymoon. Katey even texted me the next morning with some shots from our photographer, videographer and one she took herself. I can't say enough good things about them!

It has been about 2 weeks since my wedding day and I'm still in awe of Ashley and Lemon & Lime Event Design. I contacted Lemon & Lime after severing ties with a terrible venue (Mimslyn Inn in Luray, VA) and the "event coordinator" they recommended we hire (Regina Hilliard of Elegant Occasions), who was basically just a former catering staff member. The difference in service and professionalism was so astounding that it made me wish I had canceled my Shenandoah Valley wedding plans earlier so I could have booked Lemon & Lime for more than Day/Month of services. My now husband even commented that "next time" we just cut some of my mother's friends from the guest list and book the full package from Lemon & Lime. Ashley’s organization and documents helped keep me “on track” and calm in moments of doubt. There was even one frantic phone call to Ashley a month from my event because I was overwhelmed by my to-do list. We walked through the to-do list and she offered to take some of the tasks. By the end of the conversation, the to-do list didn't seem as daunting and I had a good strategy for tackling the tasks. As far as the wedding day, I didn't have to worry about anything and was even a little. . . bored because there wasn't anything to worry about since all of the logistics and details were taken care of by Ashley and her team. Ashley and her team did an amazing job transforming the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception space that was more than I had envisioned. Thinking of everything, Ashley’s team even packed us a bag of each popcorn flavor from the popcorn bar! The day was truly memorable and nothing short of wonderful thanks to Ashley’s expertise and attention to detail. I will miss our email correspondences (Ashley was very responsive). . . I may need to think of an event in the future just to have as an excuse to work with Lemon & Lime again. A BIG BIG BIG thank you to Ashley and her team (Dara and Jackie)!

We got married in Aug at a private home/residence. There are many challenges that come with planning an outdoor, at-home wedding. We wanted a team that could handle it. After meeting with alot of planners, we chose Lemon and Lime. Thank god - we could NOT have done it without them. As expected, there were ALOT of variables to manage & coordinate (busy holiday + multiple events + nontraditional venue = alot of work and surprises). But the L&L teamed handled the chaos with poise and professionalism and made it all seamless and transparent to us and our guests. They worked nonstop for 14+ hours a day for three days on a holiday weekend. They oversaw 8+ vendors (e.g., catering, tent and equipment, decor and flowers, restrooms, dessert/cake company, DJ and entertainment, photography, and DJ/entertainment) to pull off a beautiful, flawless multi-day event. If you are looking for a team that do it all, they r the full package. Their organization & attention to detail meant even the smallest tasks were handled with care. Their work ethic is unbelievable. During crunch time, they'll do everything they need to do to get the job done (even if it means calling in extra staff). And are creative. As a very busy bride, I was less than organized, but still very particular about the look/feel. After just a brief decor conversation, I handed over some pictures + a ton of raw material with little guidance about how it was all supposed to come together. L&L translated my scattered thoughts into a picture-perfect, Pinterest-worthy layout & design. Last, they are flexible + adaptable; they were always willing to step outside their job description (e.g., picking up family members from hotels, diffusing difficult vendor/family situations, shopping for forgotten accessories). They did all this with a genuine SMILE. In the end, L&L made our day unforgettable (in a good way). Our investment was returned to us times a thousand in both piece of mind and memories. Thank you Lemon and Lime!!

We brought Lemon & Lime on about 3 months before our wedding. We had already picked a caterer, a band, and venue, and were quickly getting drowned in the "minor details" of scheduling, flowers, and everything else. Basically, the stress was starting to eat us alive--they were a well-oiled machine who quickly got everything in order and reduced the load on us to an amazing degree. Though you have to take this sort of thing with a grain of salt, our guests (about a 100) commented that it was the most fun they'd ever had a wedding in their lives, and the most beautiful--I honestly believe they were telling the truth as well. When we did panic over something, Lemon & Lime always responded quickly to emails. My one bit of advice, get a wedding coordinator (Lemon & Lime or someone else), early--the earlier you do so, the less stress you'll have, and believe me, it'll be the only money you spend you DON'T regret.

Ahhhh where do I even begin?! When my husband and I began looking for wedding planners, I didn't so much care about their years in the business- I just wanted people that I thought I could work well with, because I knew they would be a large part of my life over a very exciting and stressful year. When I first met Katey and Ashley, I loved them right away. And then I met Ellen, and just loved her too. And that was the beginning. Throughout my wedding planning process, they were so wonderful to work with. They kept me on track (which was NOT an easy task haha), but also didn't make me feel bad or stressed out when I was really behind on my timeframes. They went absolutely above and beyond what they signed up for, and did so with smiles all throughout. And then- my wedding day. It was literally the most beautiful thing I could have ever imagined. I had a really great vision, but knew I wouldn't be able to execute it without professional help. Thank GOD I hired Lemon and Lime, because my day was absolutely flawless. Everything that I hoped for was executed PERFECTLY, down to every tiny little detail. I literally think they were inside my head even when I wasn't there to answer questions. I don't have enough words to express how grateful I am that I chose Lemon and Lime to make my wedding so freaking beautiful. They worked so hard, and it paid off so clearly. I would recommend them a million times over.

Ashley and Katey are fanstastic! I originally didn't think I needed a wedding planner because I kept reading all these reviews about how great my venue was and how you didn't need a planner because the coordinator there was so great. Although the venue was fantastic, I can't imagine my wedding day without Ashley and Katey. I literally had no stress on the day of the wedding because Katey and Ashley made sure everything ran flawlessly. (People actually kept commenting on how relaxed and calm I was.)

I booked Lemon & Lime Events for day-of coordinating, but they did way more than that. They found me a designer for my programs and menus and helped me design them. They even went and printed all of the paper materials for me so I wasn't stressed the week of the wedding. They also came to pick up all of the wedding items that I made a couple days before the wedding so I didn't have to worry about delivering them to the wedding.

They made me feel so great about all of my wedding decisions, even the unorthodox things that I decided to do. I am so happy we booked them because they made the wedding flawless and stress free!

I cannot say enough good things about the ladies from Lemon and Lime Event Design. Leading up to the big day, we worked with Lyndsay and Ashley, both of whom were unbelievably helpful and responsive to any questions or issues that came up. They took care of putting together the timeline of the day and communicating everything to our other vendors. They ran our rehearsal the day before the wedding, and did a great job of keeping a large bridal party on track. The day of the wedding, Lyndsay and Caitlin were at the house bright and early making sure that everything was set up, all the vendors were where they needed to be when the needed to be, and generally that everything was running smoothly. They kept everything on schedule throughout the evening, and did an amazing job with cleaning up and organizing all the decor at the end of the night (something my parents REALLY appreciated). And above all that, from my first interaction through email through the wedding day, everyone that I interacted with at Lemon and Lime was professional, personable, and fun. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a planner or coordinator for their wedding or event!

The responsiveness to every question and need regardless of the time was a huge stress reliever. Any situation that was stressful or just needed to get done the staff offered in a professional manner their advice or their services. The calmness of the staff would leave my daughter and I laughing at times because what we thought were huge issues were resolved quickly by their involvement. Communication was excellent! On the day of the wedding they were a gift! They came early with lunch in their hands after stopping at 3 places to fill all the request of the girls! The staff always acted professionally and the quest at the wedding commented on how beautiful and "perfect" everything was. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would. I would never have been able to pull off the amazing wedding I had without them. Katey and Ashley and their team far exceeded any of my expectations (and I knew they were amazing from being in a wedding they had coordinated in the past). I only used them for day of coordination, however they were there for me from the minute I signed the contract. We e-mailed and talked on the phone multiple times, they were available to me any time I needed to check in, make sure I was on track, and made suggestions for vendors which I still needed. I also had a lot of DIY decorations, which I left to them to set up during the ceremony. I am extremely particular and I had a vision in my head of how the decorations would look, and everything when set up, looked unbelievable and better than I had envisioned. They had 4 people working on my event, 2 setting up the reception and 2 at the ceremony.

We had issues with the transportation company and these girls were on top of the transportation company to ensure everything was taken care of and had back up plans in place in case needed. They have even followed up with myself and the transportation company after the wedding was over to ensure I am compensated as promised. They did not need to continue to try to help me resolve an issue with a separate company, but they have continued to work with me to get my resolution.

I could go on and on with wonderful things to say about Lemon and Lime, but in short, if you need a wedding coordinator for just day of or if you need a planner from beginning to end, these are your girls. They were extremely organized, on point, thorough, and professional.

We were so incredibly lucky to have the girls at Lemon & Lime as the "day-of coordinators" at our wedding last month! I think I can speak for the groom and all of our parents when I say that having a day-of coordinator was the best vendor decision we made throughout the whole planning process... and Katey, Ashley and their staff were incredible. Lemon & Lime made sure that everything that needed to happen, HAPPENED... and we knew that everything would be taken care of. I didn't have to worry about anything that day, except for getting ready and showing up. It was truly a blessing to know that the groom and I, our parents, wedding party, extended family and friends could just enjoy the day with us, without having to worry about all the details. I am so thankful for them, their advice, expertise, and willingness to take the stress of wedding-day burdens off of my shoulders, and on to theirs. You ladies are truly priceless :)

Oh my god, I could not have had the wedding I had without Ashley and Katey! They were BY FAR the best investment my parents and I made during the whole wedding process. (Their price was very reasonable for all the services they provided.) I had originally thought that I could do eveything myself, but planning a wedding in Baltimore when I live in NYC turned out to be almost impossible! I reached out to them about 2 months before the wedding. We met at my venue when I was in town a few weeks later. They were prompt and waiting with a bottle of bubbly for me. I felt very comfortable with them, as they were not snobby and let me run the show. They did EVERYTHING and ANYTHING that I asked of them. I emailed with them on a daily basis and never was worried about them getting things done. They came to my parents's house and picked up all the supplies. They let me mail all my purchases to their homes, instead of my own. They knew the answer to every question or problem I faced in the planning process. On wedding day, they set up breakfast and mimosa in my suite. They brought ordered lunch to both grooms and brides suites. Ashley was at my beck and call from rehearsal Friday to brunch and cleanup Sunday. She always had a smile on her face and I never felt bad asking her to do things for me.

Everyone told me that something always goes wrong on your wedding day, prepare for something to go wrong. With Ashley and Katey on my team, I swear, NOTHING, I mean NOTHING went wrong. The two-woman team at Lemon and Lime are by far, the most professional, organized and diligent people Ive ever worked with. Their knowledge of wedding planning is superior to all others. They made my special day the most perfect, flawless day that could have been. Justin and I are forever greatful for their services! I highly, highly recommend!

When planning my wedding, one of the things that was top of my list was a day-of coordinator. Finding Lemon & Lime was truly a wish granted. Our initial meeting took place a few months before my big day and I knew immediately they were the ones for the job. I couldn't have asked for a better team to work with - always pleasant, up for ANY task, and available at all times, they made the wedding planning process so much less stressful than it could have been. Ashley and Lemon & Lime were absolutely invaluable to the perfect flow, fun, and finesse of my daughter's wedding in October. From the tiniest detail to the biggest, she was at-the-ready to take it on and make it flow! I honestly don't know how we'd have done it without her. While she was hired as the "Day-Of" coordinator, I feel like she was there from the beginning. She quickly understood just what we were looking for, how things were supposed to go, and what we might need to make it all be right...she anticipated things before we even asked!
As the mother-of-the bride, I took on several responsibilities, to which, when Ashley asked, "Do you want me to handle that?" I said, yes, and she did! No job was too small or too big for Ashley and her team. Thanks to them, my daughter had her "dream" wedding, we all were able to relax and enjoy the big day, and those hectic ones before, with fun and ease. I know that Ashley will be one more person for whom I will be thankful this Thanksgiving!

I don't want to sound cheesy, but stop shopping because you found your coordinators!! When we met with Lemon & Lime Event Design, they were very open and not once said, "You should hire someone else for that." They were willing to do whatever it took to make us happy. We hired them about 6 months prior to our wedding for day of coordination, decoration, and to help assist with making recommendations for what we had left. They put together multiple recommendations for stationary, ministers, florists, etc. They answered every email either within minutes to 24 hours. We met a few times to update each other and they were at the final walk through and rehearsal. We got married at a DIY place which was a blank canvas. They took everything that I had bought and made for 1.5 years, and made the vision come to life! They were absolutely phenomenal the day of and can't imagine what we would have done without them! Here we are 30 days later, and they are still offering to help contact people with any post-wedding issues that we have! If you are wondering if you need a coordinator, the answer is "yes" even if you are a type A perfectionist! Lemon & Lime Event Design are worth every penny and more and being stress-free on your wedding day is priceless!!!

Thank you to Lemon & Lime for making our wedding and reception run so smoothly! Katey and Ashley were hired to be our "day of" wedding planners, and they were that and SO much more. I truly cannot imagine not having these girls as a part of our day, looking back at how perfectly everything went. Do not forget to include this in your wedding budget-or just find a way to make it happen. We were able to not only enjoy the day of our wedding (thanks for making us eat dinner), but the day after, when you are exhausted and don't want to do anything! They will also give you ideas when you are out of them, like finding a company to make an amazing groom's cake! I really cannot say enough about how happy I was with your service!

Hiring Lemon & Lime was easily the best money that we spent on our entire wedding.

Knowing that we would be getting married in my hometown of Baltimore (my husband and I live in Boston), we hired Ashley and Katey for their full wedding package. Looking back on it, I honestly don't think that my sanity or my relationship with my parents would have come through in tact without Lemon & Lime.

Probably the first thing that struck us about Ashley and Katey is how down-to earth they are. These ladies are more like girlfriends who are there to make your visions happen then what I think of when I think "wedding planner". They are always available, too, to meet or talk on the phone or email--and in my case this was with me, my mother AND my father! (And since the three of us are worriers, control freaks and perfectionists, I know that was a feat)

Throughout the 8 month process, Ashley and Katey did all of the heavy lifting. At the beginning when figuring out the big stuff, Ashley and Katey would take our thoughts and budget ideals and come up with 3 vendors that they thought would work best for us. After we had selected our vendors and venues, Lemon & Lime handled all of those vendor relationships and logistics, so we didn't have to worry about them anymore at all.

I think that the best part of working with Lemon & Lime was that I was able to really spend the time working on the parts of the wedding that I was most interested in. Three weeks before the wedding I emailed Ashley and told her that I trusted her judgement on the details I didn't have a real opinion about and to just go with her gut. Ashley got it all just right- her selections went perfectly with my style. Every detail was considered and nothing was left out.

My father is a frugal man and hard critic, and I think he said it best when talking about the wedding vendors and venue: "If we had it to do over, I wouldn't change a thing."

As I said before, hiring Lemon & Lime was the best decision we made.

Ashley & Katey were terrific to work with. They held our hands through the entire process of a wedding. First they listened to our ideas and they asked about our budget of which they were respectful. They offered many recommendations for venue. They listen to our parameters and filtered out places that would not fit. They found the perfect dj, florist, minister and photographer for us. They helped us every step of the way to have a perfect wedding for our daughter, which people are still taking about.

Lemon & Lime went above and beyond in every facet of wedding planning for us - - our wedding could not have been better and we hands DOWN could not have done it without Ashley and Katey. They rock. Not only did someone always get back to us within 24 hours, they ended up helping us with items that we didn't think we would initially need them for (like tracking down vendors who were frustrating to deal with and unresponsive) - in essence, they took the bad parts of our bride/groom to-do list off our plate, so we could focus on the things that only us as bride and groom could do (guest list, seating chart, etc....there's still plenty:)).

5 starts isn't enough. I cannot say enough about how much Lemon & Lime came through for us in a pinch, handled every request I had, gave us personalized attention, and were there to make every detail of our day run smoothly. I am forever grateful to them! Advice to any future bride, having a coordinator (even if it's just for the month and day before, whcih is what we did, but more would have been even better) make a huge difference and is worth the investment. STRONG recommendation!

When I was working long hours and trying to adjust to a new job, Katy and Ashley were a godsend in helping me plan a dear friend's baby shower. They took a few ideas they had and ran with it, making the event fun, unique and memorable. They were also very mindful of expenses providing me various options making it easy for me to choose when/what I wanted to spend my money on. I appreciated their diligent research, attention to details and fun personalities. I became fast friends with the lovely ladies of Lemon & Lime!

Katey and Ashley did a phenomenal job on our 5/5 Virginia Beach wedding. My husband and I planned our wedding ourselves, but hired Lemon and Lime as Day-of Coordinators. I had several DIY elements and wanted planners that shared the same vision. They met with us twice to discuss our expectations and to finalize details. They answered countless emails in a timely manner, displaying impeccable flexibility and responsiveness. They were extremely thorough and set up all of our wedding details BEYOND our expectations. The day went beautifully! It was flawless and every little detail was absolutely perfect.

lemon & lime event design made our wedding the best party of our lives! 7 weeks later, people are still talking about our wedding and how awesome it was!
First of all, Katey and Ashley were able to negotiate with 2 vendors that we really wanted but were out of our price range. They were able to come to an agreement that we could afford and made it possible for us to have the exact vendors we wanted.
When we were at a loss for an officiant, cake, DJ and ceremony musician, they found us a variety of vendors - all in the right price range!
They met all of the vendors on-site and all we had to do was show up for a final walk-through, which saved us so much time, especially since our work schedules were crazy.
They provided us with ideas for centerpieces, tuxedos and favors, and all of the ideas were presented to us professionally with pricing and stores clearly outlined and the styles and colors aligned exactly with our theme. We feel like they took the time to truly understand our style and preferences.
On our wedding day, they worked 14+ hours, picking up flowers, setting up centerpieces and favors and programs and kept us on track through each of the wedding activities. They made our big day stress free by having a minute-by-minute schedule and distributed it to the vendors and even confirmed with each vendor the week of the wedding.
They even dealt with my bridal breakdowns. Katey actually participated in a conference call with me at 11pm to discuss grosgrain ribbon and centerpieces, and Ashley took a delivery of 2 boxes of favors at her house while she was in her Pj's and ready to go to bed just because I was freaking out. They even met us out while we were having dinner to go over last minute details. They dealt with all of the clean-up of the wedding, delivered all of our cards to our hotel room and took home all of the large gifts and boxes of centerpieces and favors until we were back from our honeymoon.
We are dying to throw another party just so we can have Lemon & Lime do the planning! Our family members are friending them on Facebook and keep saying how they were "in control" of the whole event.
Lastly, I remember the day before our consultation, when my now-husband said "Wedding planners?? What do we need them for??". Now, he hangs his head in shame and says the 4 words I have been waiting to hear - "Honey, you were right." - HA!
I reccomend Lemon & Lime to any bride&groom if you want to save time, money and stress. We enjoyed our big day SO much with no stress or hassle and we will always have that memory.

Katey and Ashley were an absolute pleasure to work with! They made all experiences fun and offered expert advise from their experience. They were a great resource for vendors once they knew what we were looking for as well. They had a great understanding of what we wanted and helped us execute it perfectly! For our Annapolis wedding, our first vendor hire was lemon & lime event design. While all of the other vendor's were wonderful, Ashley and Katey from lemon& lime were the people who pulled it together, made sure everything in this very large wedding (200 people) ran smoothly, and ensured the entire bridal party had no worries and no stress. They coordinated all of the vendors and gave us helpful tips and suggestions that ALWAYS saved us money! The day of the wedding could not have been more fun and perfect for our family because Ashley and Katey managed and supported us every minute of that day. I cannot recommend them highly enough. They are professional, dedicated, and organized. My husband and I agree that hiring lemon&lime was the best value with the greatest return that we spent on our daughter's wedding.

It was a pleasure working with both Ashley and Katey in the planning and execution of my daughter's wedding! They worked with my daughter and I every step of the way, giving us many great suggestions and just making us feel at ease! I felt completely relaxed the day of the wedding knowing that both Ashley and Katey had everything under control. Lemon and Lime are very good at knowing what vendors to recommending, keeping in contact, on top of logistics, and making sure the day was smooth and I didn't have to worry about anything! Together with Hotel Monaco, they made me feel like a guest - I didn't have to worry about anything, and that's the best thing in the world!!!
